I recently moved and wanted to buy new bedroom furniture. I went to the show room and have a great experience. I found the bedroom set I wanted and ordered it and paid for it in full. I was so excited.My bedroom furniture was delivered and the night stand was damagedAt this point it’s been about a month since my nightstand was delivered and it’s been a very frustrating process to get a new one delivered. There was no accountability on the Ramos furniture end of things. No one apologized for delivering damaged furniture or the inconvenience it has caused me. Almost a whole week went by before I heard from anyone. The customer service in the store was phenomenal. I had a great experience. Seems like after everything was paid in full and I walked out the door the experience went downhill quickly.I was called to schedule the initial delivery and told that someone would call me the day before to give me a window for the next day. No one ever called me to schedule my delivery time. I called the store MANY time and no one ever answered or called me back. Finally I got a hold of someone and she insisted that they must have called me and I missed the call. Somehow this was my fault. Not great customer service there. That got pushed out another week. Then I went as told the drivers would call 30 minutes before they arrived. They didn’t. They delivered a damaged nightstand and when I brought it to their attention they told me to call the store. They also didn’t clean up their mess of delivery afterwards. They left wrapping and plastic parts in the drawers of my bed.I reach out to the store and they tell me to email Tony and that he will call me the following Monday. Never got a reply from him ever. Another person replied to my initial email 4 days later says “I will be requesting for this to be exchanged”. Not “I’m sorry for the inconvenience” or anything to that effect.I understand that stuff happens, like the damage to the furniture, but the part that speaks volumes about a company is the customer experience. It’s how the company handles an issue when it arises. Ramos failed in the customer experience category. I went to Ramos because it was local and I knew they had been in business for a long time. I figured that means they must be doing something right. I really should have check their reviews first. 2.6 stars. Yeah. I can see why now.I love the furniture that I bought got but the experience has been mediocre at best so sadly I can’t recommend Ramos to anyone. The Ashley furniture I bought can be bought at many stores. The Ramos store needs to focus more on the customer experience to ensure that you have returning customers. I will never buy furniture from Ramos again.

They have an extensive selection of furniture, GREAT quality, competitive prices and SPECTACULAR customer service!!When I’m in need of furniture, I let REINA know what I’m looking for, and I’m shown ALL of my options. She is quite knowledgeable on their products. I never feel rushed or pressured into buying anything and the delivery service is always prompt and convenient !I highly recommend theSan Jose location on Burke St.
Honestly was expecting to be able to buy more furniture there but I will NEVER buy there again. Bought a pull out sofa. It has not been 3 weeks and its breaking fast. The material is cheap. 3 of the legs broke withing 3 days. The cushioning is cheap. It feels like I bought a sofa made of pure wood. Doesnt feel anywhere near as good as the display they had. Also one of the wheels completely broke into a millions pieces already. Complete waste of money and it wasnt cheap. Walmart has better quality furniture and that says alot.

Saleswoman seemed like she didnt want to make a sale. I was looking for a specific length in a couch. Saleswoman or manager said she would look but never came back and started helping another customer. Same with location in Santa Clara. Not really wanting to answer questions or make a sale. Definitely not getting my $$
We just purchased a whole bedroom set here, from the moment we got there we were helped by a very nice man named carlos. He was very informative and knowledgable about the products and helped us feel confident in the purchase we were making. Amazing customer service from start to finish. Really glad a friend referred us here. I will deffinitly refer my friends directly to Carlos.

Ive been shopping for a bedroom set for the last couple of weeks, walking into Ramos I was greeted by Carlos, He immeditly was interested in what it was I was looking for and not just trying to push any bedroom set on me. I am very glad I went there and was treated with such great customer sdrvice And a smile.
All the sales lady or whoever in charge of that store are RUDE and Disrespectful! I don’t know how did they survive selling furniture with their nasty Attitude! They seems not happy for you to buy and they seems not a happy people at all!!! I think they have a lot of personal issues dealing with that even at work they take it on their customers!!!! Really bad!!!!! If i were them they MUST close their business though!!!
HorribleI bought a lot of furniture from these guys. They were really sweet while selling the furniture. When you call them to check the update on your order, the first call will never connect.When they finally answered, they mentioned that the order will be delivered a week later than originally committed. The guy on the phone also mentioned that I have signed the contract with them and they can delay the furniture upto 6 weeks. He was practically laughing at my frustration.He said they will call when the furniture is available and I cant do anything.Please dont buy from them. They are not worth your time and money.
These people are full of lies and scams. After putting in money for store credit because I was going to buy a couch, they told me that I can use that money on anything else if I didnt want the couch anymore. So, a month later I wanted to switch to something small and they told I couldnt because if had to be of the same price or more. Worst customer service, especially, sales-guy named Charlie. He was very mad after I told him I wanted to switch my item. Plus they NEVER tell you that you have to pick you items at a separate warehouse!! I bought a bed and I went to the place where I bought and they told me I had to pick it up someplace 20 minutes away from the actual store.
I don’t usully like sales people Harrasing me when I browse for furniture , I like to just look and if I have any questions. Carlos the sales person there was great , very nice and polite he did great explaining everything to my son and I . Will definitely go back to him to purchase more furniture .
People are nice when youre walk in and they try to sell.My bed was a mess when I try to talk to them about fixing it they just keep telling me someone else is going to call me, but they never did.Charlie was nice at the beginning cause he was trying to sell. once I tell him my bed was damage, He started to be rude to me.I wish I when some were else.
My husband and I bought a bedroom set in July. Paid for it full from Ramos Petaluma store which is noe permanently closed. We were told it would take 2-3 weeks to get the furniture delivered as it was a special order. Now here it is October and we dont have our bedroom set. I have tried repeatedly to contact their warehouse in San Jose, left messages and no response back. I finally contacted the Hayward store and they were able to contact the warehouse while they still had me on the other line. She asked Richard to call me right away and he said he would. 3 hrs later still no call so I called the Hayward store again and she called Richard again to call me. He did and set up a delivery date of October 17th today. No courtesy call the day prior to let me know what time they would be here if they will even show up!!My husband and I are senior citizens and my husband disabled. This business has over $3200.00 of our hard earned money!!! We thought we were doing the right thing of buying from a business in our community but this had turned out to be the biggest headache which I dont need having fought a cancerous brain tumor. We want our furniture or our money back!!!!! Thank you Hayward store for trying to assist.
We’veDone business with Ramos for several years. Wouldn’t think of going anywhere else for the simple reason u have the best salesman ever. Carlos is such a asset to ur store & to us. He’s very knowledgeable and helpful. Going inside Ramos, the sales people always are eager to help. They dont hover and are there to answer questions. My last visit to Ramos left a bad impression. I ordered a dresser, dining table set, and living room sectional. I was told all would be delivered together which should be no more than 2 or 3 weeks maximum due to the sectional is a special order. After 3 weeks, I called several times, leaving many messages on voicemail. No one would return the call. I saw on the website a chst box and used it. This was 12/5 and someone actually sent me a text saying the sales person Candy, would call me the next day. She actually did, telling me she was trying to get a hold of the manufacturer to get a ETA date, also promising to call me back as soon as she got the information. Today, 12/21, I have again left several messages ewit no return call from anyone. Looks like I will have to take a drive to the Burke store to get an answer. Its been 6 weeks. I can understand 6 weeks for a special order, if you are told the honest truth up front. But to be lied to and then have so much trouble just to get someone to answer the phone or call bsba is not acceptable and not a business I want to deal with any more.
This is the worst furniture shop to buy stuff. They delivered me a broken dinning table. I called their aervice and went to the shop atleast 100 times but they never showed up and never fixed the thing. Its been more than 7-8 months now and my broken furniture is still lying there in my house. I paid $900 for a broken furniture and the worst service ever.STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!
Bought my sofas here and came with a free tv for promotion but the tv is not yet on my home its been 2 months ! now they are not even answering their phone ! its two months already and NO FREE TV YET ! Worst experience ever. To add on I already made payments for my sofas and supposedly the tv came within 2 weeks. BS ! they dont even deserve one star !
It’s the worst place you can buy any furniture I order my bed and when I received my bed it was incomplete they gave me a delivery time from 3-7 and didn’t show up at my house until 8:30pmThe whole cutomers in the store are super rude I tried going to talk to them and they we’re all rude never help me and took over one month to receive my night stand that I was missingNever would I buy anything from them again

People tell them, dont waste your money and time. Such irresponsible and unprofessional people. I just moved from Los Angles and went looking for new sofas. I arrived at this store and everything was very good and friendly, a man named Carlos attended to me. He gave me a good price for a sofa. It turns out that he told me that he did not know the specific date of when I was going to have my furniture that he called me to say a date when it came out in the system. I believed in the lord of that already 1 month and nothing of my furniture. I call, they dont answer, I call and she tells me a false date, she calls and they say that the manager named Reyna is going to call me and nothing. In the end I tell you the worst experience I have ever had, lousy customer service and very dishonest people. And in the end they told me that the furniture is from Ashley furnuture. And until they have no order for their buyers then they fill them.
One of the worst furniture storesBuy a sofa. And they deliver it late to my house a week after the day of delivery.-They give me a damaged sofa and say it is my fault because I did not repair it on the day of delivery ....-They take the sofa for repair, they do not arrive on the day they told me or the time to pick it up ....-I always had to be talking and asking about my chair since the furniture store is very busy, but on the day of payment, well they are talking and talking about the payment ...I had many problems with this furniture store ** The truth is I will not buy again and I do not recommend it at all ***- Lack of responsibility and professionalismAt least I see that I am not the only unsatisfied customer with this store
Good prices, excellent attention by a man who does not remember his name😂 I think his name is Carlos but he says he has been working there for 10 years and he rests Friday and Saturday very attentive and helpful. We were pleased to buy our living room, dining room and bedroom 😉

2022-04-26They always carry top quality brands of furniture, and at very reasonable prices. Excellent customer service, willing to order something if they dont have it in stock. Great selection on all pieces, living room, bedroom and dining sets. Lots art choices will be back !

2022-05-28Went specifically to purchase a couch. Check their website, Labor Day Sale, 50 and 70% off! Thought this is it. Went there couldnt afford a couch, they had an off brand love seat for 700.00. Chairs for 500$ so wheres the discounts and what did it cost before?😯 I purchased a full size Ashley sofa at....San Jose Warehouse furniture, for 698.99$. Its being delivered on Tuesday. 👍

2022-01-31If I could give 0 stars I would! Terrible service!! So I went to the store on Saturday to purchase a reclining sofa and a recliner. I asked for a discount, so the sales person said he will not charge me the taxes and the delivery. I paid $3,398.00 for the two pieces of furniture and signed the contract. The taxes and the delivery charge were not added. He said the delivery men will call to schedule a delivery time and date. On Monday, I called the store and left a message to ask when the delivery men will call to schedule the delivery. I received a call back from the same sales rep., he said that his Manager did not accept the price and that I would have to pay extra $300. I was furious and declined, the contract was signed for that price but they wanted to rip me off for more. To do a refund I had to go back to the store which is not close to where I live, sign a document and provide my credit card for the refund. Waisted my time and will not recommend this store!!

2021-05-04I would like to share my experience I had here. First I had a great sales man named Charley . I had came in and he actually was with other customers and he still made sure he acknowledge me and said he would be right with me. I seen what I liked and I told him Ill be back he gave me his card and I left. I knew I wanted what seen . Came back and he was so nice and fast he made sure I got what I wanted. I came back for last signing and I seen other bedroom set and told him and he said no worries he was able to switch every thing less then 40mins such a great sales man. Very happy with that.Then my delivery was even better thank you Lester and his coworker they were also professional and fast and did a great job very nice and good work I love my new bedroom set thank you so much .

2019-03-16Ramos Furniture has great prices, good quality, friendly and HELPFUL staff. After changing my mind twice on leaving room set, they still helped and rushed my delivery! 2018-07-02Customer service at this location is awesome. We were helped by Carlos, he was very attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable. He deserves 5 stars. But the company deserves less. They really need to work on their shipping and delivery. 3 times they have told us our furniture would arrive by some date and ended up not getting here until way after. When I called Carlos and asked if my new mattress had arrived he explained how it wasn’t even shipped yet and he was as upset as I was. I told him how I wanted my money back and I was annoyed this had happened twice before (this time being the 3rd). Carlos asked me to come in to see what he could do for us, since we needed our mattress ASAP. He helped us pick a new one that they actually had at the location and did an even exchange even though the new one was a little more expensive. That being said, if you go to Ramos furniture ask for Carlos, he’ll really help you out.

2021-05-08If I could get less than a star I would. I was insulted while shopping for furniture for my new apartment. A female sales representative. She made the comment well if you dont have money when I asked about a item, walmart sells for cheaper. Before she could finish I left because it was uncalled for and rude. I went down the street to Best furniture LLC with and bought everything I needed. Coffee table, dresser and they deliver my items tomorrow free.Horrible insulting service over priced items which you can buy at Walmart for cheaper I would not go in when recommended to anyone else.
