This was by far the worst hotel ever! We booked a room for a cheer competition and had to be up at 5am the people in the room next to us were partying until we had to get up. I called the front desk 4 times and they still could not get there guest to quiet down. I am if you have unruly guest kick them out!!! They were screaming playing loud music and just being annoying. Front desk didnt act like they cared at all.
Obviously hotel got renovated nicely and rebranded to Ramada. Still Spirit of Travelodge exists here, using cheap stuff like cheap shampoos, cheap cups, .... Internet is not reliable, and very slow. In my opinion, customer service really doesnt exist, they do not go an extra mile to satisfy the customers. It is little bit noisey in the morning. I like the extra bunk beds for kids. If i didn´t need bunk beds I wouldn´t stay here.
We waited till 3 because they said check in was at 3pm. Then they tried to show down the check in process because the rooms were not ready. And then at the counter , after standing in a line for 30 mins, the suit we paid for was not ready. They put us all 4 of us in 1 small room. And they gave us just 1 key !!! Which was super inconvenient. This is my 3rd bad experience at a Ramada !!!! I guess The chain doesnt care where they put there name.
Positive: Located close to Disneyland and the convention center. The rooms were surprisingly modern for Anaheim and I liked the breakfast. Negative: The elevator did not work the first day I was there, but it was fixed quickly after I brought it to managements attention.
Positive: We liked almost everything about this hotel.... Location .. the room was renovated, very clean... They even gave you a complimentary breakfast that helped a lot even when I read that they werent giving any... I will stay here again and recommend it.. Negative: Not really .. overall it was really good
Positive: It was close to the Convention Center Negative: The ¿ breakfast¿ was poor. The elevator was out of order so I had to climb stairs to get to my room. The internet connection was weak. The clerk gave me wrong information concerning shuttle service to the airport.
Positive: Absolutely Nothing Negative: Trash on ground and graffiti note on pole out front (dated 2 days earlier where to meet up) Woman at desk very rude, an overall BAD feeling Husband actually got on and booked a different hotel and we left. Did not even get to check in.
It’s what you expect for the price. The floors weren’t very clean, there was a hole in our bathroom door like someone punched it. The sheets were super thin and some had holes, no comforter at all. I definitely recommend bringing your own towel because the ones they provide barely cover you and are very rough. Also bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper since the walls are super thin. You can tell they’re trying to make the hotel nicer but it’s just not there yet, and some of it feels like a quick and sloppy cover up job.
For the most part it was great. They did have us in the wrong size room but got that taken care of. It was about an hour wait but it was all good in the end. They serve a real breakfast and have fruit and water in the office. They rooms were clean but if your looking for full room service included beds made, this is not the place for you. You have to ask for towels and pick them up in the office. The staff were all very nice. There is no shuttle to or from the airport or the parks but Lyft is a great option. Affordable!
Room was nice and remodeled, very modern. However I tried hooking up a Nintendo switch to the tv and when I switched the input to hdmi 1 it says “input locked please enter code”. I called front desk to get the code but was told they don’t know the code and the input is “supposed to stay on the tv channels” (where channels you need to pay for are conveniently located). It’s a simple 4 digit code and default is 0000 but that code was incorrect so someone changed it and knows the code I’m assuming.
For the price not too bad. Its a bit old however so I wouldnt stay here is you are used to high end places. The morning crew were very kind and helpful. The night crew wasnt mean, but wasnt really caring about friendly service either. The room was very hot when we first arrived so plan on getting there long before bedtime so you have time to cool the room. Fast paced, this hotel was 18 minutes from Disneyland. Pushing a stroller took about 28. Plan on being a bit tired from all the walking unless you want to pay lots of money to drive to Disneyland. Parking was free for hotel patrons which is better than many of the high end hotels.
Unfriendly staff, website says pool is open and breakfast. Both are not being offered. The room has been partially remodeled. The bathroom has a new shower, no shelf for shampoo, conditioner or body wash. The floor of the bedroom is uneven so the floor boards pop-up and the edges are sharp. Needs painted and the doors are difficult to open. Elevator is also down. Rooms not sound proofed. At 545 could hear the loud booming of the upstairs guest going off for 25 minutes before it was either turned off or stopped. Would never stay here again.
For the price and location its a good stay if youre just looking for somewhere to sleep. I booked two king size bed rooms and was placed in two double bed rooms. Theres currently no housekeeping due to covid, but theyll bring extra towels if you request. Noise level isnt too bad either. In one of our rooms the little AC unit was making random noises on and off through the night, but overall it wasnt a bad stay.
Liked - The rooms provided were remodeled. The beds were clean, the sheets were thin though. Furniture was clean and upgraded. The lights throughout the room were bright. The AC stayed cold, it would make some noise at night but not a huge deal. The staff were friendly and accommodated our request for each room to be clean each day. Each day housekeeping provided new sheets and towels. The room door was hard to open and close but we felt safe with both locks working. The bathroom was remodeled as well, the shower has no shelving inside though. Amenities - iron, ironing board, blow dryer, TV, mini fridge, and microwave all worked with no issues. Prior to our getting our rooms we requested for all 4 rooms to be close in proximity, we were all placed on the second floor and only 1 or 2 rooms away from each other. Three out of four rooms were remodeled but we didnt mind, the non-remodeled room was clean as well. Breakfast is not provided but there is a Dennys around the corner (5 minute walk away). Great location for Disneyland trip, it is a 15-20 minute walk to the park or you can catch a shuttle for free in Toy Story Parking Lot which is a 5-10 minute walk away. Its a great stay to only need to sleep there.Disliked - The walls are thin so outside noise can be easily heard. The towles are a bit rough and small for the body.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! They wouldnt even let us in the lobby to check in we had to stand out in the rain. Then when we get to our room theres no couch in the room. Theres no place to put shampoo or anything hardly any water pressure, Was tola room would have a tub and it does not. Because of the rain the floors were wet so we had to call to get towels for that Very disappointing. The staff at the front desk was not friendly I would not recommend this place place.
No complimentary breakfast, didn’t get this Denny’s voucher that everyone seems to say they got. The walls are extremely thin and they re-did the floors with laminate flooring so we heard EVERY STEP above us and it echoes. Woken up every night with loud steps and bumps in the night. I’m not one to complain but this place is a joke. The swimming pool and hot tub are under construction so couldn’t use that either. Small parking lot. The good thing about this place was a hot shower and a nice air conditioner. But I’m annoyed that I didn’t get good sleep, so be aware.
Lots of noises throughout the night. The walls are very thin we could hear the couple moaning from above all the night.. No refrigerator is provided. While we are booking the hotel it mentioned as complimentary breakfast while we checked-in they said that no breakfast is included due to covid. But they doesn’t even follow covid protocols very bad service and extremely unhappy. I’m really annoyed by the loud noises and i couldn’t get good sleep.
Well, this is definitely a motel setting. It can get a little loud on the week-ends with lots of people hanging out in the parking lot but its the only place I know where you can get a room for under a hundred bucks and no security deposit required. If there is a room available you can check in during morning hours. Its a 2 story U shaped motel with a pool. It looked clean but was definitely not heated! I recommend this place because it is easy to get a room here and is located right next door to a Dennys if you want to eat.
Disgusting place. Used to be my go-to when going to Disneyland. But now, it’s infested with roaches. When I walked into the first room, it smelled like smoke. They fought me against getting another room since “all the rooms are non-smoking”.My second room had roaches. Pictures are included.Don’t ever stay here. You’re better off sleeping in your car.
LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! The staff is SUPER NICE and PROFESSIONAL. My girlfriend and I extended our stay which would make it twelve days in total. Booking on Wyndham website is easy and unbeatable. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND to book your rooms early. thank you Travelodge by Wyndham Anaheim Convention Center!!!!
Great place and a good bit cheaper than most places... Did you know about the discount for booking from your mobile phone. I got about $9. Which brought the price down to $86. In a motel room that I could see the Disneyland fireworks show right from the balcony. My room was tiled and pretty nice it is a family motel and they have quite a few kids channels and a 5g and normal wifi that is part of the price. So if you have kids or not its right across the street from Disneyland and I only spent $99. for the room and I booked it online about an hour before I got there.
Positive: It was walking distance to Disneyland. We even went back to the hotel to rest and then went back again. So convenient because we were able to leave our car at the hotel with no charge. Negative: One of the reasons I picked this hotel was because it advertised that it served breakfast, and had a pool. Well there was no breakfast, or even coffee and the pool was out of order which it should have stated that in their ad.
I was there with my niece for a grand total of 90 minutes and left knowing I would be not getting a refund. Ive stayed there twice in the past (pre pandemic) and was completely satisfied with both stays. It was everything you could have wanted in a budget hotel. It is now a complete 180 degree turn now. They let people live there now and it shows. There was graffiti on the sign in the front, couples arguing and yelling slurs at each other, people walking around without masks, smoking, and our door wasnt secure. I probably could have toughed it out if the door had been secure but I didnt know if someone would give it one big push and it would burst right open. I would never, ever stay here again. I did not feel safe.
If I could give less than 1 star I would. We checked in and within 5 mins of being the 2 rooms we booked we left. We went to cvs to purchase Benadryl due to allergies we got as soon as we went into room. Roaches on the bed. The worse experience ever. Went to the front desk to speak to manager and told them we are not staying there because there is roaches and wanted a refund. Left as fast as we could. Called in regards to the refund because I had called the third party site where we booked thru and we were told we would receive refund within 72 hours. When I didn’t see the refund for the 2 rooms for the 2 days I called and they stated that Travelodge declined the refund. I could not believe it, they stated that we stayed in the room and I told them that there is cameras and they would be able to see we checked out less than an hour after we checked in. I am going to fight for my refund as this is 100% fraud. Avoid this horrible hotel
After having a horrible experience at Motel 6 in scrambling around to find somewhere to go at 11 at night I tried Travelodge. When I got there it was a 45 minute wait with four people in front of me. When it finally got to me before I even got up there 5 different customers had come up talking about their keys did not work, and their rooms had been given away while they were at Disneyland.... and somehow or another their keys had become deactivated.. I decided not to go through with getting a room there because I didnt want to deal with this. I ended up having to pay triple what I wanted to pay but I guess that is a lesson learned. Dont try to go cheap when paying for a room . Youll be happier im the long run even playing double.
Not what it used to be. We are literally in a gang land tweakville complex. Half the rooms are being lived in by people that stay up all night doing drugs and fighting. The police were here arresting someone on the property plus we were told that room cleaning is not available through our stay. I had to empty my entire car because nothing is safe in the parking lot. Overall I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. If you can, splurge the couple of extra dollars for a better hotel.
Under New Management and they are awful. When we arrived, we saw that they were under renovations, which we where okay with. After getting To our room a maintenance man had to come in and install a hair dryer, which was a little inconvenient and delayed the baby’s nap, but again tolerable. Things changed when we saw the Bathroom and there was urine all over the toilet. After notifying them, them promptly came and cleaned the bathroom. This is where things got worse. I left to go to Disneyland with one of my daughters and my wife stayed to nap with our baby and our other daughter. During the nap, two renovation workers nearly got into a fist fight in front of our room and slammed against the door. A short while later one of those two workers walked into the room unannounced. My wife hollered at him and he saidHe was just doing standard room checks. Later these same workers were hanging out by the hotel room door and would look in the room anytime the window or door was open. Needless to say my wife and daughters did not feel safe. And the deadbolt did not work nor did the safety latch to keep people out. After making a complaint to the manger, he offered me a full refund of our stay if we left or 15% off of 1 night if we moved rooms. Leaving meant being charge at minimum $15 extra a night. He apologized but assured me these were good guys. When we chose to leave the owner was there and told me we shouldn’t be afraid because she wasn’t afraid and she is small. She said your bigger than me and shouldn’t be scared. And she went on to say that she is sure my wife is bigger than her too. I said well I wasn’t there and it was my wife and daughters that are scared. She expected me to take her word and did not want to acknowledge the problem. It felt like a cover-up and I will not stay at this place ever again.
Clean rooms but if youre looking for a place for peace and quiet, to relax and enjoy then this is NOT the place.Stood 2 night and got very little sleep. Front desk did nothing about the noise and loud music. I do not recommend this hotel if youre looking for a quiet stay. I will not be staying there again.
They lied to us. We made a reservation three weeks before hand, and we specifically asked about breakfast and their pool. They told us they were both available, but to our surprise the pool was under construction and breakfast was not available. The receptionist was also very rude to us once we asked about it in person, talking about its on the website even though we called TWICE for confirmation. Will never book to this hotel again. We had to book a last minute motel because of this inconvenience.
Positive: The room was nice Negative: Was totally NOT aware I would have to pay for parking. It should have been stated on the site so people would know in advance. I felt scammed. Also there was a police standoff there on our 1st night there. Neighbors were loud all times of the night.
The room was okay. if you like your bathroom door being off the hinges and the lock not working properly on the front door so it doesnt work half the time. We never had anybody even offer to come clean the room. not to mention the smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag in the room stink of cigarette and meth smoke. And to top things off upon our leaving, they charged us $20 out of our $100 deposit for the sink stopper being out of the drain. Now if Im not mistaken arent all sinks designed for that? I guess the $20 was for the hard manual labor they had to incur to place the stopper back into the drain. Will never stay here again. Complete nightmare.
Positive: Location Negative: A cockroach in the room, the fridge got all my food frozen, when I call for service they just when and. Try to reset temperature , next day all my food frozen again I have to throw all my food away.. a lot of noise late night and early morning
Sad to even think that this hotel is by a family park. Tried to stay here for a fun cheap getaway with my loved one and didn’t end up even staying the night. The atmosphere vibe was not acceptable. I didn’t feel safe, tooo many people out doing drugs outside their rooms as well as questionable people looking to see what other guests have in their possession. It’s so sad and I really hope they can change this environment and quality of this hotel. First time here and I will NOT be staying here again. If you have children don’t do it. Spend the extra money and stay safe. *smh*
Apparently it takes 20 minutes keyboarding per room, and the people ahead of me were getting lots of rooms. They also parked their escalades blocking handicapped parking, and were yelling across the courtyard continuously. Of course, not one would wear a mask or give you space. Finally my turn, 15 minutes in, and one of the ladies of the previous customers came back and got in my face to talk to the clerk again. Now I called the week before and asked about breakfast. They told me it was grab and go, but now there was no breakfast. Also, no coffee in room, never seen this before, tough getting going. Not to mention with all lights off, enough light to read. I always stay at Travelodge but this was my worst experience ever.
Had to switch rooms after unloading everything from the cars. The air conditioner didnt work. Called the office phone to get more towels and ended up putting it on speaker because nobody answered. After getting ready (30 min later) hung up phone and went down stairs to get the towels myself. The best part of the stay was the breakfast. The lady that worked in there the first day was very very friendly and went out of her way to make sure we were happy with the service with our dining experience.
We had an awful experience 5 months ago. Just getting around to writing our review. We stayed there for a week in September. Usually it’s not too hot, but it was in the 90s that week. Our air conditioning didn’t work. We notified the staff the first day and they said it just takes a while. We had left it on all day and overnight, and nothing. The room was hot and muggy and smelled. The next day we went to them again, they wouldn’t give us a room or send someone to check on it. We ended up staying out of the room most of the week. We booked through a third party and they provided the refund, so I am not sure if anything was actually refunded by the Travelodge.
The woman at the front desk was incredibly friendly, the rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. The outlets were loose though, and some didnt work. The breakfast room was somewhat lacking, would better be described as a continental breakfast, because it primarily served danishes, yogurt, and cereal (plus juice and coffee).Still, its an easy walk to where you can catch the bus to Disneyland.
The rooms are so old, the sheets, and pillow cases are stained dirty grey and feel even worse. The room smells like and over kill of either bug spray or disinfectant. The water smells like dirty toilet, black hairs wedged in the cups and the other one was straight nasty used. There was even poop streak in the toilet and when asked for a better room the said it would be an additional $140 per night on top of the $104 we paid. Im literally crying because they said they only have two upgraded rooms that were renovations. Honestly 1 star is too nice.
Its not fancy, (its old, the carpets are old, plumbing odd) but its only about 50 bucks a night, and the sheets are clean. The staff is polite. Its a quick walk to the Disney Toy Story parking lot, so you can hop on their free buses that run constantly and go to the parks. The muffins and whatnot for a quick morning snack are also a plus. When I go to Disney, Im there from open to close, so my hotel is merely for showers and crashing. If you like to spend more time at your hotel, then you may want to consider something else.
When we arrived in the room after a full day of driving, it was not very nice and looked NOTHING like the pictures used to advertise, but for the price we figured it was okay considering the location. however, the room itself smelled musty, the carpet was like sticky from how dirty it was. the sheets and comforters were dirty and also smelled musty. many of the wall plugs did not work and so our phones could not charge and when we moved a lamp to try to use the wall plug we found multiple bugs (roaches). the best thing about this place is the location, but i would rather pay an uber to drive me a little further away, or pay a little more to stay even closer with a hotel that is at least good quality, where my feet dont stick to the ground inside the hotel room.
The ONLY positive about this hotel is that it’s a half block walk to the Disney shuttle !! It’s a mess!! Cockroaches in the drawers the first night ! Large holes in walls! Especially under sink! Dirty walls and doors! Holes in curtains! Filthy outside ! Rude staff ! Called for a blanket and pillow and they never told housekeeping! Filthy outside !! Laundry broken down. Screens on windows bent and broken. Looks like a drug hotel ! Don’t do it no matter how tempted you are by the price.
Very dirty. Needs updating inside. Very old. Our room had a very strange odor, not sure if it was mildew, mold, stale cigarettes, disinfectant, insecticide, or a combination of all of them.... Carpet needs to be replaced. Outside looks nice, but inside is terrible. Linens are grey and dingy. Lighting is terrible. Outlets did not work very well. Location is great, but definitely a very cheap motel. We will not stay there again. The staff was friendly though.
Its not even worth writing a review but I need to warm others. Dirty rooms, rude staff, drugs, dirty, just disgusting. Our room was never cleaned, we requested towels, toilet paper and got nothing. Out room smelled upon arrival and dead bugs were in the light fixtures. RUN FOR THE HILLS!!
This hotel needs a complete over haul. One good thing is free parking. Staff is not friendly. No refrigerator or blow dryer in room called and ask they brought one to the room. Hand rails on stairs are rickety not safe. The breakfast room was dirty and not alot to offer. Dennys is right next door. You can also buy your ART tickets for the shuttle to Disney at Dennys. There were holes and stains all over the walls and ceiling. Carpet was dirty.
The room was adequate. It was a budget option but overall worth the price. Proximity to Disney, the convention center, and food was great. Room was clean. AC worked great. The pool area looked clean but we didnt use it. The shower needed some maintenance. The stopper to pit water to the shower head instead of the bath faucet was not working well and resulted in lost shower pressure. Overall good room.
The room we stayed in was supposedly a renovated room; however, upon walking in immediately discovered a very stained carpet at the doorway and several feet into the room...it was disgusting really. Upon further inspection, there was a baby bottle under the bed and a few strands of hair found in the supposedly clean towels. The only saving grace was that the air conditioning worked very well and the beds were comfortable. The staff werent rude by any means, but werent exactly friendly either. The included breakfast was very underwhelming. In summary, stay somewhere else...even if you have to pay a bit extra. This place is not well kept and cleanliness and overall appearance is clearly an afterthought.
The hotel was very dirty and run down. I have stayed in many budget hotels but none this dirty the room smelled awful and the carpet was greasy and oily from years of people tracking in oil from the parking lot. The bed was uncomfortable as were the pillows. The towles were old and a dingy gray color. The furniture was damaged and dirty. I would not recommend this hotel and I will not stay here again. Upon checking out a day early the receptionist was not open to my feedback.
Close to Disneyland you can take the ART which stops right in front of the property. Breakfast was good but limited and you cant make your own waffles, an attendant has to do it for you. Beds werent terrible but a little stiff. The sink water smelled like sewer right when you turned it on, and the shower water would go from freezing cold to scalding hot in seconds without ever touching the knob. Its not terrible. Just dont expect high expectations for the star quality that it has.
Although my room is non-smoking, theres an ashtray right outside my room so people can smoke on the balcony. Not bad for as cheap as it is. Continental breakfast is cereal, bread, donuts, juice, and coffee and the lady working in the breakfast area was nice. The guy in the office reset the router when we had trouble connecting to the Internet. The mile walk (15-20 minutes) to Disneyland isnt bad (and I have a 2-year-old). The fridge is old and sensitive about needing to be plugged in a certain way. I dont really have any complaints ... except for the guy smoking next to the ashtray outside of my non-smoking room right now. Also, those Google pictures look nothing like this place. Its a dump, but not scary. Next time, I might be willing to spring a little more for a place a little nicer, but really, I have no complaints at $50/night.
It wasnt bad. The location and price was great. It wasnt a high end hotel by any means but it was a place to rest, swim, and relax in their hot tub! The staff was very accommodating. They gave us a cot for our friend and more than enough pillow (we asked for more and they gave them to us).
Our room smelled like Urine from the first night. We were not ever able to locate the smell even with housekeeping doing the laundry. Our feet were black whenever we walked on the carpet with our shoes off. The hot tub was out of service the entire time we were there which was 12 nights, believe me we would have stayed somewhere else if we could. The air conditioner made noise that was loud all night long. Mold was on the tile of the swimming pool so that became unusable. Hookers came past our bedroom window with the same man all night long. We had 5 total rooms for our family group and all the rooms were in this same condition. The front desk was totally uninterested in anything you had to say. Spiders crawled in and out of nail holes in the wall, finally my husband caught one. One of our rooms had such a musty smell and wet carpet all the time. We never really knew why. We had a non smoking room but people stood right outside our door and smoked so all the smell came in our room anyway. The only good thing about this hotel was it was walking distance to Disneyland which is what we were looking for. The nighttime maintenance man was amazing, since we had two days with NO hot water and he fixed it. He was so nice. And we always had clean towels each day. Those were the good points to be fair. We came home to find hatching larvae of some sort in our luggage and my daughters laptop that we still dont know what it was. Our luggage never left the room. We will never stay here again. They say they were remodeled rooms when we booked there?? I would liked to see where? The rooms nor the hotel match the pictures on the website. I was very disappointed in these rooms.
I would seriously not recommend anyone to stay here. The room was disgusting. I was so grossed out with the bathroom. It was not cleaned properly and there was hair and who knows what else left from the people who previously stayed here. I HIGHLY recommend you spend the extra money and not stay here. I understand that most of us rent this hotel because its close to Disney and will most likely be in the park all day, but the few hours that you will be in the room is not worth catching something. As soon ad you opened the door it smelled like moisture and smoke really bad. The door didnt close properly so alot of light was coming in to the room. Dont understand how people give it more than the required 1 star.
You get what you pay for. The proximity to Disneyland was great and the pool was open again. We didnt have washclothes. We only had a 1/4 roll of toilet paper and no backup. The water pressure was bad, the shower water was either hot or cold, no in between and the bathroom sink faucet was tempermental, sometimes you got a little water, sometimes you got a lot. All of the outlets were lose so trying to keep a charger in the wall was difficult, ended up taping it in. The charging outlets on the lamp didnt work either. The most concerning part were the lack of lights in the stairwell near the elevator. My daughter fell down the stairs the first night we were there, just a bruised ego, but when I told the front desk they werent overly concerned about my daughter and they never fixed the lights.I didnt go into this expecting much because of the price, but it was an okay place to sleep and most of the staff was nice.
I would NOT stay here again. We went for a week with our family and booked three rooms. The floors were DIRTY! After walking on them barefoot our feet were BLACK! One room, the fan did not work in the bathroom. The second room had no fridge or microwave. The third room only had a fridge but no hair dryer. There was a HUGE roach on the wall in the third room one night so we smashed it and killed it. They never cleaning the blood and guts off the wall. It stayed there the rest of the trip. The key to the third one quit working and I had to go to the office EVERY DAY (keep in mind we stayed here a week). That was very inconvenient and annoying. They never replaced the toilet paper in one bathroom when the roll was all used up, so we had to ask for me - Seriously? Parking spots are VERY tight. Jacuzzi does not work. Ice machine did not work. All the rooms were different and outdated. Random holes in walls. Very run down.Only good thing is that the shuttle to Disneyland stops right outside the hotel. I would rather walk a block from another motel to the bus stop than stay here again though.
When we went to check in, their system was not updated to accept chips on credit/debit cards and the magnetic strip wasnt working. So they wanted me to pay another way and I didnt have another way to pay. This through me into a panic. After several minutes, she finally got my card accepted. We asked about the jacuzzi and they informed us that it was broken. We were disappointed as we were planning on going into the jacuzzi later. The card to enter the room was flimsy and would not work for me. I tried it several times and never got it to work for me. Fortunately, my boyfriend was able to work it but it was not easily accessible. I requested a mini refrigerator and a microwave in our room but there was no microwave. I had to call down to the front desk to request a microwave and they said their maintenance worker wasnt available right now but would bring it up as soon as possible. It took 15 minutes to deliver the microwave which wasnt good for us because we had to be at a concert and were pressed for time. The room was small and not very clean. There was mold on the carpet next to the refrigerator. When I went to use the bathroom sink, later that night, I was waiting for hot water and the drain clogged up making it difficult to brush my teeth and wash my face. The water finally went down by morning but the sink was filthy with remnants from using it. The walls were super thin and there were people coming and going throughout the night. Our neighbor had a really loud squeaky door that they continually went in and out of through the entire night and morning. I dont know what the heck they were doing to be having to enter and exit their room continuously. I dont think they slept. I know I barely got any sleep and felt miserable the next day. Maintenance should take care of that obnoxious door! My boyfriend went down to the continental breakfast and said it was awful. There was hardly any food and the waffles were soggy. My daughter and I went without breakfast. I had a good time at dinner and the concert but my overnight vacation was spoiled by this horrible hotel. I will never stay at any Travelodge again and dont recommend it to anyone.
Its not perfect and if your a nitpicker, youll find enough things to pick at, as the place does see a very high frequency of guests. The beds are great and I sleep like a baby after all day visits to Disneyland. They have wonderful and friendly staff who are willing to help with your needs and the price is very reasonable. If you dont like being around eager, happy and excited children like I do, dont stay here.
First when we arrived front desk staff was extremely rude and had lost our reservation. Then some how after talking to the third party that we had booked through they magically had two rooms for our complete stay. 1 room didn’t have a fridge and the shower looked like it was falling apart, and toilet clogged up every few times you would flush it. Only good thing about this place was the breakfast staff was very nice!! But definitely wont stay here ever again!!
Clean but kinda not so great building. Had obvious water damage on the ceilings, oddly enough you have to request a fridge if you want one. A/C worked fine. Elevator did not work and sketchy parking situation. Breakfast was actually not bad at all. Walking distance to Disney bus stations. Clean.
Room wasnt very clean, carpet was black at entrance. Old small tube tv. Not every room has a refrigerator, if you want one youll be put on a list. Reserved a room with 2 Queen size beds but 2 full size beds. Breakfast selection is small, toast, muffin or cereal. Luckily a Dennys is next door. 10 min walk from Disneyland and cheap rooms only positive.
Was worth the money I spent to stay there. The door handle look broke and dirty. The room was very dated. There was no micro wave or refrigerator. The bathroom was dirty. And they also put my cups and the ice bowl in the bathroom. The room was so basic. It only had one peace of art on the walls with ugly whit walls. The breakfast was bad and very simple. There wasnt enough parking for everyone. It was just really bad. Not worth the money.
This place was disgusting! The sheets and pillows were stained the ceilings were full of water stains and the room smelled awful. To top it off we found live cockroaches! They switched us rooms and the second room had baby roaches. The staff was very rude about the whole ordeal. Do not stay here!
Man I wanted to give this a try because I’ve stayed at many travel-lodges in the past with no issues or complaints, after reading the reviews I thought I see for myself. Well I have a 1 year old daughter with me and this room we got is not up to code, the lights in the bathroom are missing and the fan will not work, the outlets don’t work to charge phones or laptops the heater/ac is broken, there is wet sticky stuff on the floor, the toilet was overflowing at first use just after using number 1. I had to call and ask for another room at 5:00 AM because my family is shaking it’s so freezing, when I called in the front desk they said they can’t move me tonight because no rooms are clean and we’ll have to wait until 3:00pm the next day. Well you gave me a room without cleaning it so why should it matter? So here we are stuck in a 2 star without heat and working toilet. Safe to say I won’t win any Dad of the year awards after this hotel choice. I’m still here if the owner would like to have a word with me because I would love to have a word with him. It shouldn’t be my job to inspect all Appliances before I accept a room I’m paying you to do it for me. Don’t sell rooms that don’t have a working toilet or heat
You defintely get what you pay for. The room just felt dingy and unclean. I definitely did not get one of the nice rooms that was posted on line. Although the location was good for walking to Disneyland, that was about it. Patched but unpainted repairs in the walls, old furniture. Definitely needs updating. Walls were so thin, we could hear everything.
The young lady and gentleman that work at the front desk are nice and try to be helpful. There is nothing they can do about the poor upkeep and filth of the property. The television does not work and the WiFi password they provide is wrong. Once logged on it I got many warnings so logged off. There are stains everywhere from who knows where. We have Cloroxed and sprayed with bedbug spay in hopes of being ok till we switch hotels tomorrow.
We stay here all the time when we go to Disney! It is a quick walk to the Toy Story parking lot and you can hop on the shuttle and take it to the park for free. Always a good experience, the hotel is basic but the staff is always nice to us and they have a free breakfast for guests. Make sure to sign up for Wyndham Rewards, weve had discounted rooms multiple times, especially when we had annual passes and went often. Dont expect anything fancy, we do feel safe staying here but the rooms are hit and miss. Sometimes we get a nice room, other times the rooms need maintenance, but nothing worth complaining over. Overall, this is our go to cheap hotel when making a trip to Disney.
I am a local and stayed here a night due to a household emergency, got 2 rooms and was blamed for taking top sheets and was charged for something I did not take. Housekeeping had said they were missing but, management had kicked out a guest and was wrapped around the missing sheets I was blamed and charged for. Shame on Wyndham, will never stay here or recommend to anyone for sure after this embarrassing experience of being charged falsely. This hotel is fraudulent.
Hello! If i could give this hotel zero stars I would. I NEVER in my life thought I would have to cut my stay short in beautiful california because of such an uncomfortable stay. We stayed here for 12 nights and had a clean of our room for only 5 of those nights. The cleaning consisted of making our bed and getting new towels. Not once was the floor vacumned. The bathroom was no less than disgusting. We only had hot water for two nights and we repeatedly told the lady at the front that our room hadnt been cleaned, we didnt have hot water, the bathroom fan wasnt working, lights were burnt out, we requested a mini fridge and a microwave in JANUARY when we PRE BOOKED and called three times to confirm in which the lady on the phone told us she would write a note down and make sure it happens. When we arrived at check in there was no fridge and microwave until day 4 of our stay. Every person we spoke to on the phone clearly did not make a note that we wanted this even though we wrote it down online in our reservation and confirmed multiple times. Everyday we talked to the lady at the front desk and told her that we still didnt have the fridge or the microwave and she said she would get the maintenance man on it but it never happened. We saw the maintenance guy in the parking lot and stopped him and asked for the fridge and microwave he said no one told him to bring it and he would get right on it which he did thankfully. The waffles at breakfast are served on a styrofoam plate which melts to your waffle when you eat it. I dont know how this place has squeezed by and how Public Health hasnt checked into this. The pool has a horrible green scum around it and appears to have not been cleaned in at least a month. Our room had a food on the walls bug smeared what appeared to be mold and dirt in the ceiling the list just goes on. I would never book here again and it is a shame to all other Travelodge places we have stayed before. I wanted to ask for a refund at the end of our stay but the lady was so sour and not pleasant so I didnt bother. The breakfast lady was so lovely and I hope she is paid well for all she has to do with the little help and resources the manager gives her.
Seriously you pay for what you get. The only good thing about this place is the front desk customer service. Other than that the rooms smell, you hear EVERY FOOTSTEPS from upstairs and their conversation/arguments. Bed is springy and CHEAP!! Your car would be more comfortable to sleep in. The pillows are very lumpy, bring your own if youre planning to stay here to save money. Im seriously embarrassed that I booked this place. Pay the extra $20-30 elsewhere its worth youre rest.
Friendly polite staff, but the quality of the room itself felt only slightly better than an old 70s motel. Loose plugs that would not hold any of our charging cables, air conditioners which vibrated loudly unless you set the table against it to absorb some rattling, dim rooms illuminated by old, yellow bulbs in dated lamps, free wifi that kept kicking you off every hour or so to force you to log back in on your browser, etc. I feel like its on the verge of being toppled and replaced by completely new construction like many places around Disney/the Convention Center, which would make the obvious lack of structural and appliance updates somewhat logical in such a highly competitive spot close to the convention center. Free breakfast included coffee, pastries, cereal an toast and was fine (I dont need much, and the coffee was solid). The room itself was definitely as clean as that kind of old motel could be, so no complaints there. Would probably stay again as-is if their rates continued to be low, but for the price we got we find out we couldve gotten a similar room at the Clarion, closer to the convention center, where the rooms at least felt like they were updated from the ninties
My review could have been better if not for the lack of functioning power outlets. Some were too loose to make contact so they didnt work for us. Also, we found a small bug in the dresser in the morning. The good: noise was very minimal and was given plenty of towels. Oh yeah, forgot to mention the wouldnt allow us to keep our car parked while we spent the day at Disneyland and out checkout was the same day at noon. A lot of dining options nearby was a plus.
So my expectations were not very high from the beginning for this place and this place met them. A lovely room set from 1986, rusty bathroom and carpet that had random sticky spots in it just added to the fantastic ambiance of this little gem in fabulous Anaheim. Hopefully 1986 will call and request their items back so that this place can perhaps update its image. I guess that if youre at Disney all day like most people who stay here are, a place out of the elements is all you need, and thats all this place is.
Only doing 1 star because I have to. This was the worst experience we’ve had in Anaheim ever. The photos on the website and google are misleading and faulty. The rooms look nothing like the photos. The dead bolt on on room did not lock and there was a crack in the door so people could see into the room! The curtains had holes in them! The ceilings and walls were disgusting! The lights made loud noises when you turned them on! The room smelt of mildew! Terrible place to stay, we literally checked out 30 min after we checked in because we felt so dirty when we walked into the room. Do not stay here!!!! Even if they paid you to! Don’t do it, you will save yourself the eyesore of this nasty place.
DISGUSTING! We decided to book our stay with them because they had renovated rooms. We got there and there were bugs in the room. What looked like black pubic hair all over the bathroom floor. All the bed linens had stains. It looked as if we were running from the cops being in that room. We checked in and checked out in a matter of 10 minutes. Front desk was the most unprofessional girl ever. Management wasnt even there. They wanted to still charge us 1 night for not even staying there. The front desk said they would release the deposit in my recorded conversation with her. THAT HASNT HAPPENED YET. Contacted corporate, travel company, and the BBB. Just terrible. Not even worth 1 star.
The worst hotel in Anaheim Ive ever stayed in!Lazy, impolite, unprofessional, seemingly tired reception personnel. The room was not cleaned;dirty+not-vacuumed carpet;bed sheets - not changed after the last guests;old, ripped, with cigaret burns, not-washed-for-a-very-long-time blankets and bed covers;dirty bathroom - tub, tub surround, floor tile covered with hair, soap.Complimentary breakfast: the attendant would not make a waffle for you, if she doesnt see you dropping money in a jar...A toast with gem, cereal and milk, a tiny muffin, an uncertain waffle with syrup, juice, coffee made with tap water... That is your complementary breakfast!Overall, one star is one star too many!
Not what I had expected for as much as I paid, and being so close to Disney. The room was disgusting. It had water stains on the ceiling and walls, had broken lamps, the sheets were stained, the tub was still dirty, etc. Their continental breakfast was a cold waffle and a pick from OJ that tasted like powdered tang, and / or what tasted like old burnt coffee. Plus the dining was held in an old laundry room of the hotel. The non- smoking room smelled like a smoking room. I could go on, but I choose not to. . .
The hotel was dirty. There was cereal under the bed from past guests. The metal surfaces were rusty. Someone broke into the safe at some point, but the hotel decided to leave it in the room. The sink didnt drain even after having service fix it. The front door didnt even block out light when closed, so you can imagine how well it did with sound and weather. It didnt completely close and the flip bar had been forced open at some point and was never repaired. The AC thermostat was broken so it stayed on all the time, which was better than the alternative, but the room was very cold. The refrigerator racks were moldy. The bed was broken (actually broken... see picture). The bathroom exhaust fan would run for a few minutes then shut off for a few minutes. Breakfast consisted of cereal and toast, with strange rubbery waffles that you had to find staff to make for you. I would not stay here again. I wouldnt stay here again under any circumstance.
The room was a bit more Budget than we expected. Stains on carpet, holes in walls patched but not painted, broken fixtures, etc.We were here to visit Disneyland so the room was not our priority. That said we will not stay here again. The breakfast was laughable, cereal or one type of mini muffin. Dont count on this being an adequate meal for your family each day.The positive- The beds were clean, The pillows were comfortable, The mini fridge was big enough to hold some food that we could pack for lunch at Disneyland, Parking is free, You can walk one block to the Free Disneyland Shuttle.
Cons: Room was awful. Possible mold. Squishy carpet. Door was stubborn. Smelled odd. Overpriced for the lack of quality. Room gets 1 star.Pros: Housekeepers were very friendly and did their best! I gave them tips because they were extra helpful when we accidentally spilled something. They get 5 stars. Location was convenient for Disneyland.
The only good thing was the price. The rooms were OK and clean enough I guess. The coffee maker was pathetic. Beds were not comfortable. Breakfast was a joke. The only option was some cheap donuts and plain white bread with juice, milk, coffee and tea. They had 2 kinds of sugary cereal too. They had two bread toasters and neither of them worked. It is a 20 min walk to Disneyland but shuttle is right outside so its convenient.
We check in on Friday and the room was dirty the bottom of the bath tub was black ( I took pictures ) I called the office at 12:35 am and explained that the room was hot. Nothing Done by office!! So the next morning we went to Disney Land and spent 14hrs there ;) when we got to our room there was no room service done no clean towels I called the office the the guy works was absolutely rude he said he would send up clean towels but no towels as of 7:50 the next morning!! Travel Lodge Hotel is Terrible. ( But Disney Land and family time was Amazing :)
Easily the worst place Ive stayed in. I am not a hotel snob but this was horrible. Very pathetic front desk staff. More worried about their cell phones than listening to a customer. They had extensive training its not working and theres nothing I can do must have taken months to learn. We made the grave mistake of booking for 6 nights here. Pool was out of order, laundry was out of order, WiFi was as reliable as the staff and the tub needed an hour to drain. Breakfast was OK for one morning, but its gross by day 2. Old muffins and same crap cereal. Parking sucks here, the rooms are rancid, dirty, stained and honestly make you sick just being in them. And to top it all off, neighbors had a gathering on the balcony 3 nights in a row that was very loud. Finally took me calling the front desk claiming they will need police presence very shortly if they didnt quit partying. Seriously sh*tty motel.
Location: very convenient to Disney ....several shuttle options availableRoom: Beds are comfortable, no fan in bathroom, lots of room. ...includes microwave, fridge and coffee pot.Services: good. ... housekeeping filled special request for extra toiletries, breakfast in the morning was simple. ...waffles were amazing! !Its nothing fancy but its a good crash after spending all day at the parks! ! :)
Clean room, cheap rates, about a 20 minute walk to Disneyland. No complaints. If youre looking for luxury or traveling with kids you could probably do better. But my husband and I are relatively active and it worked great for us. Our Lyft ride one evening from Disney was only $7 too :)
The room was not nice at all, it was very dark and dingy. When you turned on the bathroom light it sounded like there was a hurricane blowing through the room. As people would come and go it was incredibly noisy. You could not open the curtains without having everyone look into your room.It was not that close to Disneyland as stated. The staff was not kind at all. It was a huge disappointment. We always thought that Travelodge was a trusted name, apparently not in Anaheim
Way bogus. Rooms arent the greatest but definitely good enough. The problem is with the staff. Made reservations weeks earlier, no deposit required. Then we show up to get our room and we are charged a $100 deposit based on the way we look. We are just metal heads looking for a room after the concert. Nicest people you would ever meet and were treated like second class citizens. Not ok. Wont ever patron this hotel, the chain or anyone associated with them again.
DONT EVER STAY HERE! Comfort is much more important then saving money. I thought hey, its cheap, why not! Nope, within 2 hours I was about ready to just walk across the street to the 4-star hotel and pay a lot more just because comfort is so much more important. There were SO many bugs in our bed! I ignored the first bug by thinking that there was probably only one but by the night-time I woke up to an extremely uncomfortable itching feeling and looked at my feet and I was covered in bites! YUCK! Never will I ever compromise comfort for a good price. You get what you pay for, a total dump! The restroom lights are all flickering and it does not feel comfortable. You feel like you are staying in a horror movie. MOVE ALONG GUYS! Nothing is worse than packing bed bugs with you...
Nasty old room. There was mold everywhere in the bathroom. Carpet smelled like urine. Power plugs did not work i couldnt charge my phone. Was charged $100 deposit and then was charged extra $70 on top of the room that was $94 total of $264. Had to fight it until they refunded me $170. it took them two weeks to refund me. HORRIBLE PLACE!
My family and I stayed here over the Easter holiday. The front desk staff was nice, the location was close to the Disneyland Toy Story parking lot, and the bathroom was large. However, the room was soo run down and just nasty dirty. The carpet was disgusting! Our feet turned black just from walking on it for less than 5 minutes! Eventually we laid down towels and made a trail we could walk on. The blankets had several burn holes in them. The electrical plugs were all loose and the lamps and clock plugs were falling out of the sockets. Since it was over the Easter holiday everywhere else was sold out so we tried to make the best out of it, (see how far we could get our towel trail to go, guess the time since the clock wasnt working, ect...) I do not recommend staying here unless they do a serious cleaning overhaul!
This is the worst place I have ever stayed. Its condition is horrendous. The carpets and walls are filthy. Everything is falling apart and needs to be completely replaced. The comforter and curtains were torn. The sink didnt drain. The safe key was missing. The popcorn ceiling was severely water damaged and the room smelled musty. The GFCI breaker didnt work. The bathroom exhast fan didnt work. Then the hot water completely stopped working. I legitimately felt unsafe due to potential mold and electrical concerns. This place is truly terrible!
Very poor. Had to use sweatshirts as pillow cases because the pillows were so gross. Many mysterious stains were noticable around the room. Tears in the curtains. My fFellow fcclaer got $200+ stolen. The door didnt even close all the way. We straight didnt have a good time. Many tears were shed on the bathroom floor. In summary, no paragraph could describe how horrible my one night stay was.
The hotel has BED BUGS!!! Do NOT choose to stay in this hotel or else your whole experience in Anaheim will be ruined by the disgusting little critters. We stayed in this hotel just recently and got bit by bed bugs, we moved rooms and got bit by bed bugs AGAIN! These bugs got into our luggage and now I got bit after sleeping in my room. Getting rid of these things is extremely hard and expensive. When I brought up the issue to the hotel staff they were resentful and did not ANYTHING to compensate for the ruined time. I have left my contact information at the desk because management wasn’t available but no one ever got back to me.TL:DRBED BUGS are going to get you if you choose to stay here.
I agreed with a lot of people on here. The area is great, close to everything but the hotel is so bad. People are running in and out, I’m not sure if they are guests, very suspicious activities going on. It is also loud and dirty. I’d pay $40 to stay at a hotel 400ft away.Don’t recommend
This was an unexpected pleasure since I booked the room at the last minute and got a very good price for a clean and pleasant hotel near Disneyland. Everything was very clean and pleasant, with the exception of the bathtub/shower. It wasnt working properly so I only had a weak stream of water. This mafe it hatd to get the conditioner
Bedbugs in room 130, old dirty carpet, 1990s small TV, no refrigerator, mildew in shower, wallpaper in bathroom stapled to wall, wifi signal a joke, old flower bedding, will NOT let to leave your car in parking lot on last day of stay unlike EVERY other hotel near Disneyland. Do not stay here, it is gross and unenjoyable. No we did not report any of this to the front desk because as you can see from other reviews they dont care.
Hotel was one of the cheaper ones in the area, breakfast was average (typical breakfast stuff cereal, toast/pastries, coffee, juice, yogurt ect). But a lot of the guests were really noisy and there were a lot of kids. You could hear the kids running up and down the balcony outside our room. Super annoying.
This was a little farther distance than we usually stay from disneyland but this was a great deal. The room was very spacious and there was even a perfect spot to park the stroller right outside the bathroom. Breakfast was good: waffles, oatmeal, toast, mini muffins, etc. Its also just a block away from the Toy Story parking lot. We walked there and then took the free shuttle straight to Disney. Other days we would just get an Uber. I would definitely stay here again!
DONT DO IT!!! Thought this would be a good central location, but that’s where it stops. We have had issue after issue. From dirty rooms that stink, dirty linen stained with blood and other marks and sheets that don’t look or smell clean as well as the bathroom that is disgusting. After my several complaints we were moved to another room which was not much better, at least we now have a microwave and a fridge. We asked for a clothes airer to dry our clothes and were told that they don’t have those!! This place is noisy Its 12.07am and I have had to call reception twice so far about the noise from above us and it still continues, the staff were very unhelpful except for 1 lady at reception, the breakfast area is very old and outdated and also has a terrible smell. Everything you touch is dirty and greasy, the carpets are actually sticky and grimy. The list goes on and on. I’m not sure how this place is still running. Would definitely not recommend staying here. So disappointed and can not believe that this is a part of Wyndham chain of hotels. Not what pictures they have used, but they are either very old or they are of another hotel. I still have 3 days here and I cannot wait to leave. Currently looking at other accommodation to move to.
This is one rundown old travelodge. It was cheap though, only 117.00 a night. The elevator was broke, the jacuzzi was broken, everything needs cleaning and power washed. I guess you get what you pay for. The furniture is circa 1970 , nothing worked, Stained carpet, ceilings , flooring. The continental breakfast is a joke, with an attendant maning the waffle iron. They are afraid youll steal a waffle. The proximity to Disneyland is the only thing it has going for it, they know it and take full advantage. I cant recommend this hotel.
Rooms were not as advertised. They were in very poor condition. The carpets were filthy as was the room. Curtains were torn. Wallpaper peeling off the wall. Unfortunately had to stay here for two weeks. Made me cry and sick. Never again. It states in fine print that rooms are being redone. But never saw any refurbishments in two weeks. Room was not serviced 4 times. Nasty place. It was expensive for a run down dump!!
Not to Happy with this place. The hotel is in a convenient location for Disneyland but the room was dirt, smelly, carpet was filthy and damp with black stuff from the people walking in after getting in the pool. Because its close to the pool area. Needs a major cleaning up.
Check-in was easy, and they made sure our large group had two rooms close together. The rooms were decent, but the outlets are very loose and you cant plug in a phone charger in a wall outlet. You need to use the ones on the lamps or they will fall out of the wall. The shower pressure was less than ideal and there could have been more done with the size of the room (which was pretty big), but the beds were comfy and thats what matters most.Breakfast was waffles, oatmeal packages, bread and a few different juices. The temporary breakfast room is very small while theyre renovating (12 seats), but we never had to wait long.WiFi is awful, dont rely on having an internet connection while youre staying here, it is too slow (cant even load messaging applications) and it kicks you off periodically as well.Overall, the place was nice and is close to a lot of different fast food places, as well as Disney and the Convention Centre.
Pros: Very close to the convention center! Reasonably close to the parks (easiest way to get to the parks is to run over to the Toy Story parking lot and hop on a shuttle). Cons: Ive stayed here twice. The first room had cigarette burns on the bed covers and the curtains. The second time the room was fine. Not sure what to predict in the future. Also only allows 1 car per room. Not hugely inconvenient, but not ideal.
Location was convenient since it was walking distance to the convention center and also near the shuttles to Disneyland and also Roscoes. Rooms are fine Its what you expect for a low budget hotel to be. Breakfast is free with juice, coffee, but they only have Waffles, muffins, and Apricot croissants.
Very old hotel with pathetic maintenance! The day we were in they stopped water around 11 AM till late evening, the elevator was not working, there was no entry to the pool, there is a big garbage dumping bin at the center of the parking lot giving nice and pleasing smell! Dont even think about booking a room here unless you are getting it for free and you dont want to complain anything during check out. Google should seriously give us an option to rate in negative stars.
3/14/2016- 3/17/2016When I first checked into the motel, there was a 50$ deposit per room, which they refund you when you check out of the room. If nothing is damaged. I didnt expect that because I never had to pay a deposit before on any hotel/motel, but its understandable. It was just unexpected. Its a 5-10 min walk to the Disneyland Toy Story bus shuttle, so dont waste your money on a parking ticket because its literally down the street from the hotel. The bus shuttle will take you to Disneyland.DONT LOOK FORWARD TO THE BREAKFAST. Theyre breakfast was a huge disappointment. All they had was waffles, juice, muffins ( which felt like old dried muffins) and cereal. They have a waffle attendant who makes your waffle, I had to wait 30 mins just for 2 waffles because she kept forgetting mine. Its from 6AM-10AM.They have a security guard throughout the night, so thats a plus. I felt safe. Its also close to Dennys, Shell gas station, AMPM gas station, Etc. so thats a plus as well. They have a pool and a jacuzzi hot tub. The jacuzzi hot tub is broken and I read a review a while back saying that the jacuzzi hot tub was broken, so Im assuming they dont plan to fix it anytime soon. The pool was clean and convient when it was hot.My hotel room was on the second floor which the windows were in the back of the room, I didnt like it. My room had a weird smell to it when I first walked in. The beds were cleanly made, bathroom was well organized. They have a 32 inch screen TV unlike the one you see on Google pics. They do have a variety of TV channels. The walls had some markings on it, the tiles in the shower had a couple of hair on it. I wouldnt use their towels that they provide because I grabbed one to place on the floor and there was some yellow stains. Thank god I brought my own towel. My experience in this hotel wasnt too bad. If you dont want to spend a whole lot on your hotel then this place is for you. Its not bad. Im not a clean freak nor have OCD, so it didnt bother me as much because I was out most of the time going to Disneyland. But if youd prefer a clean hotel then this isnt for you.*ALSO, there were no bugs. I didnt see or experience in any bugs.
Too many issues with this place.Obvious water leak in the ceiling. Rust and grime in the bathtub. Torn up bathroom door. Poor lighting fixtures. Unpatched holes in the walls. Serious dips in the floor, and stained carpet. Stained chairs and bedspreads as well.Due to poor door and window insulation and sealing, there was serious road noise coming through, as well as a significant draft.Contenential breakfast was horrendous. Virtually nothing to choose from. There was a person dedicated to running the wafflemaker that would gladly serve you undercooked waffles. For being as close to Disneyland and downtown Anaheim as this place is, I expected better dispite it being a Travelodge. Next time I would spend a few extra dollars and stay somewhere else.
I had a bad experience in this place, I stayed two nights and 3 days, the second night after I arrived from Disneyland I was very tired and my husband wakes me up telling me that there was a leak but I was exhausted I didnt payed attention, in the middle of the night I kept waking up because of the sound of the water dripping, it was next to my bed, a hole in the ceiling, I woke up at 6 am and I noticed the bathroom was full of water and like two holes on the ceiling and one in the entrance directly through a lamp so I went downstairs to the office and this guy told me very nonchalantly that he would let someone know and to let someone else know when I would check out. I was surprised nobody went to check and it kept dripping all night and around 10 am a little before we left. When I went to check out I let the lady know and she didnt know she told me to write it in paper with my info and that the manager would call me to ask me about the incident and to offer me some sort of discount, well surprise nobody called me it was been well over a week. Before I left I notice three drops of what seemed to be blood I dont know If it was it was on top of the ceiling in the bathroom shower, it wasnt leaking, now to me it seemed like blood but Im not sure. Anyways with all of this I would have wanted a call not because of the discount but to show some concern, it is what it is but at least try to show good customer service. All in all the only good thing about this place was location wise, close to the convention center and Disneyland which is where I went, it was 4 blocks away and I just walked it there.
First full day, the upstairs room above ours had a clogged toilet which ran into the vent and down into our bathroom. We were too busy to worry about switching rooms because we had a full agenda planned. As long as it was cleaned, and sanitized I thought there would be no issue to stay in the room. When we came back, we found a live baby geico/lizard in the corner of our bathroom. As someone who does not live in the area, I dont know how common it is for this to happen and also not entirely familiar with what it was, we finally were able to switch rooms but the second room had no dryer, microwave, or fridge. Made things a little inconvenient. The front desk was very accommodating which is the only reason for my stars, as for the facility, and my experience here I am going to stay elsewhere next time I come to Anaheim.
The hotel is really affordable for the area and just down the street from from the Disney toy story parking lot. You can walk down to the parking lot and catch the shuttle to the park and save your self the time from walking. Over all its a nice hotel for the price point and good place to sleep if you plan on spending all day at the Disneyland. Would recommend for anyone on a budget that wants to come down to Anaheim for the Disney parks.
Roaches AND roach eggs!! Dirty carpets!! We have a 1yr old and his feet and knees where black after walking and crawling around. When we went to the desk about the roaches they didnt seem much to be concerned that their facilities are infested and after some strong conversation they agreed to transfer us to the Ramada, but we would have to pay AGAIN for the rooms and then wait for Travelodge to refund us which would take 3 days! We have 3 rooms and didnt bring all that extra money to spend on multiple hotels! This is our first family vacation and on the first night this is the service and surroundings we were presented with. Its absolutly unacceptable. The heater in the hot tub doesnt work..defeats the purpose of a hot tub! The beds are stiff and not at all comfortable, then again how comfortable can you get when you are worried about ROACHES in bed with you! Just overall a disgusting experience. Do not stay here! Spend a little extra on a clean hotel i promise you wont regret it.
You get what you pay for.If you get a room here say no to room 133. WORST ROOM EVER. It’s right next to the breakfast room. You will NOT be able to sleep. The door will be slammed, people are loud, and you can hear the employee setting up breakfast at 5am.On top of bad placement, the pillows smelled of bad odor, long hair on towels and bed, and old sock from previous guest.
Very close to convention center and nice parking lot. Place is in need of updates all around. Old air conditioning units. Shower heads with a lot of calcium buildup. Very scratchy bath towels. All of the power outlets were extremely loose, and some did not work at all. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast provided was ok. Ok place to stay on a budget near Disneyland and Anaheim Convention Center
This hotel was so gross!! Nothing like the pictures advertised online. It was run down outside and inside. And smelt sooo bad!! I was only in the room for less than 5 minutes and I had a big asthma attack! They hotel would only give us a refund for 1 night of the 3 we had booked, even though we didnt stay there more than 3 min. We were really annoyed and disappointed. We would not recommend staying here. If I could give it a zero star, I would.
Do not stay here. Ppl come and go all hours of the night. Rooms are absolutely disgusting and dirty. Very unclean. A/C outlets will not hold a charger in them. Your feet stick to the carpets if you walk barefoot, not recommended. Spend a little extra money and find a better arrangement.
The room at first glance was dingy and poorly lit. The towels had spots that didnt seem to disappear even after having them washed. The advertised complimentary breakfast was just a couple of waffle machines next to a tub of white bread. The free Wi-Fi was painfully slow and inconsistent. The employees seemed nice enough and we found a room that was cheaper than its competitors.
Cheap price for two rooms for 2 nights but you get what you pay for its just old needs to be redone. Beds are hard as a rock, sheets with holes , fixtures leaking, doors warped , old TVs with busted remotes just kinda run down but close to Disney park you can walk there.
Horrible!! Drove 14 hours and checked into hotel. Booked for first floor was told I had to be on 3rd. There was also no parking!!! I asked where do I park and they told me to double park behind other hotel guests. My car was new and this made me uncomfortable because how would others get out. Hotel desk told me they would call and wake me to move my car. Which is bs when you are on vacation you shouldnt have to worry about anything. Now the rooms were gross and used. Our room obviously had a leak with the ceiling it was badly stained. Bed are spingy and like rocks!! They also only had half a roll of toilet paper and no spare toliet paper left in room. When you ask for extra towels they send you on a goose chase and tell you they are low on towels and are washing them. It was far from a good or even mediocre experience. Yes its close to Disney but it is not worth it!!! Youll be spending your vacation not being on vacation. Oh and they lie about there being no deposit. They will charge you a $100-200 deposit on top of your other charges. Staff is also rude and you can tell they get a lot of complaints. I wish I would have read reviews before booking this place.
Very bad hotel and would not recommend to anyone. Horrendous customer service, housekeepers only roughly straightened the bed and did nothing else. Horrible washroom layout and small room was not pleasing. Fridge and microwave were not working. Breakfast was horrible, I always filled myself with coffee. Worst hotel Ive been in. Very far away from Disneyland aswell. Hard to walk 1 mile and walk the whole day including 1 mile back.
It is a decent hotel located near the convention center and Disneyland. This is my third time staying at this travelodge. Its nicer than other cheaper hotels I have stayed at in that area. My main complaint is the breakfast selection has really gone down hill. It is only carb based, no fruit or yogurt available. The options were waffles, toast, cereal, or muffins. All that said it is a decent hotel for the amount you pay.
Hotel is nice but the manger needs to learn to deal with customers a little bit better. Had a misunderstanding over my reservation and he wanted to charge my card right away instead of at the end of the stay like normal hotels. I asked if he can just charge it at the end of my stay he said no. Never had this anywhere else. Learn to deal with people and different issues and the hotel can be better.
I was expecting to stay at a budget hotel. This place was a real let down. Mold in the bathroom, holes in the curtains, burns in the carpet, dirty old towels and dirtier washcloths, and the weirdest thing, a square foot of wall cut out and reattached with a flimsy piece of wire, apparently so that employees could access some pipes. I was just waiting for rats to come pouring out of that hole. Also no central fire alarm or suppression system, which bothered me as I listened to fireworks all around me on the Fourth of July. As far as amenities, great! Free parking, ok breakfast, a TV (no HBO), decent beds, working sink and shower. But, you know, maybe spend the $15 to replace the shower head every couple years or put a cheap little door over that hole in the wall. It wouldnt take much to make things presentable.
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! My sister and her son (my 4 year old Nephew) paid $107 plus fees to stay in a bug infested room! There were hairs and BUGS in the sheets of the bed! My nephew was in that bed for a few minutes before they noticed the bugs! Bugs were al over in the bathroom as well! The heater/ac unit didn’t work as well. WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU LET ANYONE STAY IN A ROOM LIKE THAT! And all you do is give $50 off the room! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! My sister had to clean the room and change the sheets on the bed because ur cleaning people didn’t! The room should have been free!! This hotel and the people working there are a joke!
For the price you get 4 walls and a locking door. Anything else is a crap shoot. Dont bother asking the desk any questions because they dont want to be bothered. Room service was very polite and did what she could. Items that did not work fridge, microwave, hot water was off and on outlets.
This hotel is a 20+ minute walk to Disneyland. What many dont know is that it is just a 5+ minute walk to the free shuttles in the Toy Story parking lot just a little bit North. There are also several fast food places and convenience stores nearby. Target is around a 15 minutes walk away.In terms of the hotel, its pretty much just a place to sleep. For our purposes, it did its job well. They have continental breakfast, free parking and the staff is friendly.
The bed and shower was clean, the room was tidied every day, and the air conditioning worked. My only suggestion would be to expand the breakfast selection. That was kinda lacking. I also didnt particularly enjoy the fact that I was charged any extra $100 for a security deposit, but as this is my first time in Cali I cant say for sure that that isnt normal
The location of the Travelodge was great. We were attending the Blizzcon Convention and the staff there were extremely friendly even though we had such a large crowd walking in and out. The rooms were very clean and affordable, although during convention times can get a bit pricey. This was a very convenient hotel and they had hosted a great event for the convention attendees. Thank you Travelodge!
I hate to have to say this but in one word.....cockroaches....not one, but two.😱😱I had stayed at this property many times in the past and over the years. I like that it is close to toy story parking lot, Dennys, Target etc and has good promos. For a tight budget this property is a very good deal. I had read about that type of situation in the past. And never until my stay this past Feb. (2016) had had that issue. It was horrible. But i was stuck there. I ended up moving the next night to a different room. It was fine. But i had already set all of my things out and up. So what a pain in the head to have to repack then unpack again. Plus i was on second floor going to first floor. The elevator always looks dodgy. Lol....and has graffiti. I ended up being after my stay credited one night but it was the lowest rated night. So not much consolation. I feel sorry for this property. It has potential. It allegedly has been updated, but i dont entirely believe that. What was also shocking was the fact that the first room i had been given was the same room i had during my previous stay in the summer of 2015. The room hadnt been changed at all, other than by scent. It had a real heavy cleaning product smell. I cant deal with that. The very long tattered curtain panel still had not been changed out. All those months later, stil there. Wow! No bueno! The carpet was still dirty and or stained. The same areas that needed TLC were still neglected. Just sad. SMH!On that stay i had reported these issues to the manager, maintenance and one of the front desk reception workers. This almost upset me more than the roaches on my last stay in February 2016.
Rooms were dirty, staff was not friendly and to top it off, when your room gets clean by room service, they search through your personal stuff. In my case, I had an item missing and I didnt realize it until I was unpacking back home. I called the travelodge numerous times to complain and they basically gave me the runaround. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!!! As a matter of fact, I went back to Disneyland last week and stayed at the Anaheim Plaza Inn & Suites, and it was FANTASTIC, that will be my only choice to stay!!!!!
Very bad place! The first day the shower was clogged the next day the fixed it but they didn’t clean up afterwards. When we asked the front desk the move us from room all they said ess they could only lend us another bathroom so we could take a shower. They didnt fix it correctly it was still clogged and they charged us both nights.
Its clean, definitely in need of updating. The wifi does not work..I tried to connect a few times but got an error that there was no internet connection and I kept getting a msg to restart my router. There is a sign at the front desk that says the pool is not working, there are cones around the pool as well, that permit no entry. Its a block away from the Disneyland parking lot where you can take a free shuttle to and from Disneyland which is convenient. Staff seems friendly, we had to have them bring us a plunger because our toilet got stopped up(and no not by poop!) so not a lot of flushing pressure. So pros: clean, close to Disney, friendly staff. Cons: no wifi, no pool, bad flushing..and breakfast...consists of toasts, waffles, a few juices and cereal..no fruit.
Litter and garbage in the parking lot, the door has a gap, so the A/C works overtime, front desk folks are nice and helpful, but this is a run down property. Homeless people sleeping right outside my window at the bus stop. Pretty scary traveling alone. Only spending 1 night here, canceled the remainder of my stay and moved to the Hilton.
Staff very nice and helpful, rooms recently upgraded, OK & pleasant enuf if ya just want someplace to sleep & relax after hitting disneyland with the kids...lots of places within walking distance, very convenient location to disney AND convention center. Rooms clean, some have safes for your valuables.
Its a decent hotel Ive stayed here 3 times and never had a problem the wifi works pretty well. Its walking distance from the toy story parking lot which you can take the shuttles for FREE! The breakfast is okay not alot of protein products but hey its free. The only thing i would complain about is their parking, if the parking lot is full you have to park next door but have to make sure you move your car at 8 in the morning or else it can get towed very inconvenient especially on those days you want to sleep in after staying out late. but other that is a great place to stay for cheap
Clean rooms, basic amenities like coffee, shampoo, conditioner, soap, pool and hot tub and a free breakfast in the morning (waffles, muffins, toast, cereal, oatmeal, juice and coffee). The WiFi here is slow and sad, and so is the water pressure but it’s within walking distance to Disneyland and cheap family restaurants and it is clean.
This is an affordable place to stay in a great location with fast access to the Anaheim Convention Center. If youre attending a conference there on a budget, watch for deals and low prices on this hotel. Its very plain, simple, and doesnt come with a whole lot of amenities, but its inexpensive and has a great location.

2022-05-29This location was great for lodging. The check in was easy. There are stairs and one elevator to access the 2nd and 3rd floors. The rooms have no carpet which I appreciate, the floors were clean, the rooms were clean as well. It’s probably an older location but I was very pleased with our stay. Seems newly renovated and the rooms have convenient lighting and connections to charge your devices. No noisy neighbors or smell of smoke. The only noise came from the Harbor Street, people drive loud cars but it didn’t seem unusual on a Saturday. I stayed here with my daughter, nephew and mom. We would definitely return.

2022-05-17Our family has been staying at this hotel for the last 10 years and have always had a good experience. Super friendly staff and nice rooms. The remodel is great with a nice pool, hot tub and gym. We will always come here when we are going to Disneyland.

2022-01-22Good location, but you get what you pay for. Customer service at the front desk was awful. I called ahead before booking to ensure a rollout bed would be available and was assured that it would. When we arrived and checked in, we were told that rollout beds were not an option and we were forced to book an additional room. There was absolutely no ownership for the mistake and no attempt to make it right. Completely unprofessional. I will never be coming back and I dont recommend doing business here.

2022-05-27Positive: I liked that it had plenty of room for our group and was reasonably priced. It worked well for us, and the walk to catch the shuttle to Disneyland was only 2-3 blocks. Negative: On their website I didnt see anything about breakfast or the swimming pool. That would have helped for planning.

2022-06-30Positive: I loved the room we had with the bunk beds for the kids and the beds were super comfortable. Negative: The in room coffee and the continental breakfast coffee was terrible and the breakfast was sub par. Would have been better to eat at the Denys next door.

2022-03-06It was a very nice day due to the remodeling that is going on and looks very nice and clean in the beds are very comfortable this was an update that this hotel has needed for a while they just started so not all the rooms are done looks like just the lower level. And for now they cut back on breakfast and theyre installing a gym.

2022-06-12Positive: The location was very convenient to Disneyland. Negative: The front desk staff could be a little more friendly. Also, the shower did not have a shelf or area to put any soap or shampoo.

2022-03-07Not the greatest stay or treatment. We didnt know it was under construction so there was no pool, no fitness center, and no lobby. But most importantly there was no complimentary water in our room.. The sir helped us thru the window seemed bothered and when we approached him again with another question we got ignored as he continued to eat his food. The room was very nice and clean but we had issues with the TV sound and connecting to wifi.

2022-04-18On March 15th I booked this Travelodge based purely on price as we were trying to save a bit of money. Big mistake. That said Ill be upfront now and mention I did not actually stay here because apparently the place is in transition to becoming a Ramada and in that one month of having a reservation apparently my reservation disappeared. I booked direct through Wyndham so none of the usual funny business that can occur with third party sites should have happened. At the front desk I was still able to see my reservation in the Wyndham app, read the confirmation number to the employee, but nothing. We were then told we could just book a new room. The woman did try to match the price I was showing in my confirmation email but we booked with the AARP rate and my mother had forgotten her card so she couldnt match the exact price we booked the room at. The new rate was just high enough that having seen the outside of the place, which looked quite run down and dirty, I just then and there decided to just spend just a little bit more and get a room somewhere else. I still have no idea what happened to my reservation. As I check my email now I even got an email the morning of our original planned stay to check in.If you are thinking about this place, I wouldnt even bother. Save up and spend somewhere else thats actually functioning.

2022-03-20Newly remodeled. Super affordable. Great location. Enjoyed our stay. They have free breakfast, its grab and go. Their lobby is now open and theyre friendly. Their pool is still closed. Already booked another stay for next month.
