This used to be one of my favorite places to shop. It no longer isLately when Ive shopped there, the service has been horrible and the workers have been rude. This last visit was the worst! Both the checker and bagger were rude and made me feel like I was disturbing them by shopping. They used to be very friendly but that hasnt been my experience lately.The store wasnt as clean as Im used to it being and the shelves werent stocked.I wanted grapes and was told to come back the next day. They told me they would get put out sometime that night. In previous visits they would have gone in the back and gotten some for me.The prices are much higher than anywhere else and since they are not friendly anymore its not even a little worth shopping there. I used to go there because the people were so friendly and helpful. That hasnt been the case in the last several visits.
This Raleys at this particular location has a really Good Group of Employees... Theyre Knowledgeable about the Store and most of them can Answer your questions with striking Intelligence. Not All Stores can Boast this form of Intelligence in their Employees .. I say this Because Walgreens on Deer Valley Rd. in Antioch, CA has some of the WORSE Employees and The Pharmacy...should TRULY CLOSE UP...It is the Worse that I have Ever Visited....God Bless Anyone that has to Use Them..

Perfect!! I missed the senior staff. They ere very pleasant and friendly. This new younger staff are not friendly & are constantly talking to their co-workers ignoring me and other people in line. Line moves faster. I guess we cant have it all.

My in-laws went in today to the deli department. It was 7:20. They asked the young man behind the counter for some meats and he replied they closed at 8. They then stated it was 7:20 and he walked away mumbling. They asked him what he said and he went off, calling them old and being absolutely rude! I understand a lot of businesses are short staffed, but this is outrageous. Im sorry you had a bad day young man but this was unacceptable customer service.
One stop meal market! Ample selection of groceries, breath of dry good brands, different cultural foods, typical Belair/Nob Hill/Raley staff congeniality. Deli, Seafood and red meat butcher counters, are accompanied with extended wine shop selections.

Never new US Bank was inside Raley til today and they are very nice agents.
Luckily I got in there at a good time because usually the deli is three or four people deep the lady who prepared my food was on point no complaints. I got the potato wedges and they were a little undercooked.
The store is in serious need of an overhaul... Ive been coming here for 20 years on and off... Its like they redo one section of the store and forget about the rest.. The employees are always extremely friendly though.. they get 10 stars!
They actually have a decent deli here & a Tullies Coffee shop inside the building instead of the usual Starbucks lol. Very clean inside & its nice to know they have security here. Ton and tooooons of parking here.
One of my favorite places to go a lot of good Pokemon spawn there and they are not stressing a crowd of people gave them a new experience of things that they can do while out and about
Their produce department is terrible. The misted veggie area is gunked up and disgusting. This location wasnt kept up. However, they are doing some remodeling so maybe itll be cleaned up in the near future. I guess we will see...
Your deli/sandwich staff is toooooo ssssslow! I stood in line for over 15min while the guy tried to put together a small sandwich, plus his mask kept going under his nose! I left & came back later & it was the same thing, but this time it took longer! I asked the lady at the bakery for help & she said she wasnt allowed to make sandwiches!!?? She finally did help & it took her just a few min. Sandwiches are good & good price.

I love this store. I have stopped shopping anywhere else. This is my first go to. Veggies are always fresh, meat very fresh and affordable, sales are on a daily and the customer service is always great.
Its always clean and theres more charge station than charging cars. Its behind Benihanas Restaurant. Its safe to charge at night as theres security coming by often.
I rarely come here to actually shop - I just happen to bank with the bank they have in their lobby. But, the store is always clean, the staff is incredibly friendly and has been super helpful the few times I actually have needed assistance, and it always smells absolutely delicious! Im not sure what it is, but there is always an incredible smell throughout the store. As far as grocery stores go, Raleys tends to be on the more expensive side, but, you get what you pay for - helpful, friendly staff in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
I come here fairly often to buy meat and other miscellaneous items. The store is always clean with clear floors and and well stocked shelves. The staff is also friendly and helpful, so its an all-around pleasure to shop here.
A little pricey on most things by a few cents or couple bucks. I have to say though this store is CLEAN and nicer to shop in. Friendly clerks and people, they are BUSY.GREAT DELI AND BAKERY They get me every time. Raleys fresh-made breads are the best out of all the store chains.

Loving the e-cart grocery pick up. Only downside is it takes 5 days to get your order and some items are gone by then. Other than that not having to go inside and shop for myself right now is wonderful. So scared of the whole COVID-19 thing to be in there for long periods of time. What is out of stock I can make a quick trip there or another store for just those items and be in and out asap.
I walked to the cafe and bakery and asked for an iced americano and they made it quicker and were more attentive than the people in Starbucks. The magazine rack was stocked so I got a baseball magazine to go w my order, which makes this place better than the coffehouse a nearby drive away. This is a friendly multitalented crew that made my Saturday morning a little bit sunnier. Plus the 3 shots of espresso were gooood. Thanks Raleys.

Stopped in for a birthday cake. Bought an over the counter round cake and had them add lettering. The baker was nice and gave me a card for ordering personal cakes and was a big help. Nice to have certious customer service. The round cake was beautiful and was moist not dry. Not to sweet very chocolatey and fresh. Loved it.
I was looking for non dairy whip topping & they had none, also looking for organic sour cream but what they had expired 8 days ago, but the saving grace was I got my Thanksgiving Turkey so everything worked out, Ill find the other stuff at Whole Foods
Its a bummer to give it one star because its my favorite place to get groceries.Long lines and slow check out. Ugliest looking Raleys in the East Bay. Not sure why Raleys hates their Antioch store. Would love it if they remolded the inside of the store.
Love Raley’s produce and meat department. They do excellent cakes but the customer service is uncaring and burned out. They have minimal help in bakery and deli and when I wanted to pay for a cake they could not break my 50 dollar bill so asked me to go in six cart deep register line to break it. Should have walked over to register and break it for me. Ince I got in line waited 10 minutes -a long time for one transaction to have employee find a bottle of liquor and took their time finding it and walking to register. Also orders to sandwiches and they were out of sourdough bread so I choose the bread in the display case and the employee noticed it had mold and threw away. Lack of detail burned out employees grossly understaffed and removed if customer service mentally made this a dismal experience. I hope they take this post and see where changes should be made.
This is your pretty normal raleys. Your not gonna be stunned my any performance or by what products they have. The nice thing is this location doesnt really get a whole lot of people so the lines are generally pretty low. They do have a semi decent cheese section for the wine lovers out there
There is no perfect place, but at Raleys, the employees are always friendly and helpful. Re-stocking happens often, so products dont sit on the shelves for a long time. The produce section needs more attention, especially with best-produce. Overall, the shopping experience is very pleasant.

Clean & tidy store. But they seem to be under staffed as there is never anyone to ask help from and worst of all, it doesnt matter what time of day you shop, the check out lines are excruciating. I often go elsewhere to avoid the long wait.

The store was very clean & well stocked, the public restroom was also kept clean but when it came to check-out, all kinds of red flags.They were way understaffed.At least 5 stands opened and maybe 9-12 people waiting in each line to check out.I understand grocery shopping is considered to most as an outing, but it seemed more like a campout, although the clercks were extremely courteous, the problem was quite obvious.

This is the only grocery store I have shopped at for 30 years. It has always been know for the best produce & best cuts of meat. That has changed. I am thinking of going to Safeway or Luckys. The cashiers are not as friendly as they used to be. A lot of them have retired.
It was very nice. I believe it was the old Safeway and its a new store so everybody was very friendly.
Good service and well stocked Raleys. The deli people are great minus one chick with a huge chip on her shoulder but I just steer clear of her. The rest of them are awesome. There is an Asian American woman who is the most friendly deli worker I have ever seen.
I asked for a sandwich and got a amazing roast beef and the pasta side salad was great as well clean ..friendly people cant give it any less than a 5 star rating
The Antioch store is really nice. Very welcoming! I went in at 7am while they were still setting up things like the deli and such. Regardless the deli lady stopped and made a man several deli sandwiches. Most places would just tell you they arent ready yet. The attire is very clean, very well stocked and so friendly. What more could you ask for...... this is a store thats worth the extra $.
Ralleys has very good quality products period, i have not bee n disappointed, from the produce to meat selections and deli, the flower shop amazing as well. Coustmer service and the front in cashier all ways professional and courtesy.
Friendly staff... clean store but would be nice if I saw hand sanitizer around the store. There was however staff standing outside cleaning carts which was very pleasing to see.

Great place and great service, however someone from the bakery lacks basic decency, very rude to smoke right in front of a childrens martial arts school. While its completely her right to smoke kids should not be forced to inhale it. Whats wrong with the other side of the building?
Great values if you belong to their club, very friendly staff, and much less crowded than Safeway. You have to watch though as shelf prices do not always match what rings up at the register.
Great supermarket! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Their restroom can be a little messy but not NASTY MESSY. Its unfortunate that they got rid of the pharmacy.
Update: After shopping here for 9 years, today I left in frustration. Raleys is in the process of moving everything around without any customer guidance or notice. The big advantage of shopping in the same store is to maximize efficiency: you know where stuff is, in-out, on with your life. This is no longer the case here. Today I felt like Id never been here before. Halfway through my shopping list, I just gave up, paid for what I could find, and left. I dont know if/when Ill be back. I know the next visit will be worse.
Raleys is a nice, clean store with lots of choices for groceries and dry goods. (Paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex, etc). The employees are very nice and always helpful. I enjoy shopping there and would highly recommend shopping there to anyone.
Really had a bad experience here with one of their workers. He didnt see me as a customer. When i went to check out my items , he did something else instead of take care of his customer. So i had to go to another line while he just stood there talking to his friend while he could of just checked out my items. So id say his poor service ruined my experience there. Ill give it a two star because the lady cashier who checked out my items saw what happened and she gave me a discount coupon
This store is old and run-down.Until this store gets remodeled the prices should be lower but nope you pay the same Raleys Bel Air mark up here as you do at there other locations.Some of the departments arent staffed and if you do find someone, there really busy because they always look like there doing the job of 2 or 3 people.I dont blame the staff for the issues with this place. Its another example of corporate greed and a store manager not qualified to do the job Im sure shes paid well to do.

So close to my home and super convenient. Prices tend to be pretty high but some good values can be found. Place is pretty clean and normally pretty empty which is nice. The employees here are really friendly.
They are trying their best to be organized with the holiday dinner pick ups. One person trying to be helpful but creating more chaos than it should be. Other trying to resolved the issue and help other ppl.
Raleys is a great store overall. However the us bank staff could use some work on accuracy and their knowledge on different services US bank has to offer. Calling the us bank located in Antioch 10 times then to come in to hear “we were busy is unfortunate...There were no customers for the 30 minutes I was there. Which means my call and the two calls during my visit there could have been answered.

Great deli sandwiches, staff take the extra time to make sandwiches the way you want it.However, the deli closes early in the evening, so get there before 5 pm.Warm veggy sandwich with hummus and tzatziki sounds odd, but it tastes good.
Clean, friendly and EXPENSIVE! I LOVE Raleys but their prices are ridonkulous. I got my daughters birthday cake there and it was a decent experience but nothing to dote over. Like the store, but kinds like Whole Foods without the hippies.
Sometimes when I shop first thing in the morning on Wednesdays, some sales items arent posted yet. One time chickens were on sale but not posted (or even in the meat case yet) and the meat guy said I just got here. Theyre still in the back.
My kids LOVE the bakery and deli here. I do feel they are a bit pricey but since they are close and do have they good ole neighborhood feel, I go sometimes.
This place has a wide selection of produce especially vegan products which I love! Its a bit overpriced, but then again what Raleys is not?
I am finding harder and harder to shop here. The main reason I liked to go to Raleys in the past was for the top notch produce department. It seems to have slipped a bit. I am disappointed that you now need to have an employee let you into the customer restrooms with a keycode since this particular location has seen a change in demongrapics. I have never been a fan of having to buy 6 bottles of wine at a time to get a discounted price either. I do like their rewards program but Im not sure that is enough to get me through the door these days with all the other shortcomings of the store.

I go their for lemons and to the bank. U know their management are not customer friendly it seams like its how they are feeling that day snobby that the impression i get from one personally no name tag. And rude asking me about my coupons if they were mine cuz they werent scanningHow Rude!!!!!!!!! Go figure

Great quality fruits and vegetables, reasonable price all around. The bakery goods are pretty darn good, and I love the Raleys quiche, I only wish they would make it more often! Added plus is the US Bank in this store! There are no actual US Bank (stand-alone) branches in Antioch/Oakley/Brentwood, but there is a branch in this store, which is very convenient!
Very clean, aisles kept orderly. Only two registers were open which made for two long lines of customers.

I just love this store, tho disappointed that it moved much farther from my home. I used to travel 100 miles to the nearest Whole Foods, but I am so glad that Raleys has greatly expanded their Organic foods selection so I go there instead, on a regular basis. I regularly enjoy their wide variety of Organic fresh produce, their Organic Bulk foods & lots and lots of varied Frozen Organic Fruits/Veggies, Organic Grass-Fed Yogurts & Cheeses & even lots of my favorite GTs Organic Kombucha. Parking is great & employees are so friendly & helpful.
They usually have what ever you need other stores dont cary and quality is there..better than most little more expensive. But worth it ..
Raleys grocery store is a great place to shop, especially when youre tired and dont feel like unloading the cart. At Raleys they do it for you. If something goes on sale and you want to buy in bulk just ask and someone will order it for you! I always leave the store with a smile on my face! I prefer shopping here for the customer service and many good sales!
Very friendly service. Discovered I had the wrong pasta when I reached the car. Called over a courtesy clerk and she went into the store and brought back the right one. NICE!
I visit the pharmacy on occasion, when mine cant fill a script.The staff is professional and friendly. They confirm your script in the computer before giving you a timeframe of when and/or when it will be ready. This way you dont get a callback from them saying we cant fill it, but know one told you.Overall, I enjoy my visits and often send friends to shop as well.Ryan S.

I like Raleys Im fairly new to Antioch Ive been going to Safeway I thought Id try Raleys its totally different the people are friendly the cashiers are friendly a lot cleaner than Safeway shelves were stocked better than Safeway to my opinion
Its big nice and easy parking in a busy shopping Center. Plus the females who are up front always say good morning or hi as you enter. Which isnt much but when its consistent it means so much more.
Starting October 2020, Raleys will discontinue their usps mail services. Honestly, the only reason I ever stepped foot in a Raleys was for shipping. I end up buying groceries because Im already there. Without this service, I see no reason to ever go there again.
$5 Mondays in the deli, bought ham off the bone and Swiss cheese each $5/lb great deal. Store had a funky scent when we walked in the store, not sure what the smell was from.
Grocery stores usually empty out on stock, but Raleys always has the items that Ive needed. The atmosphere of the store has air conditioning, but I believe it gets very cold at night.
It usually has a good selection, teen assistants to bag and sanitize shopping carts. Adequate parking. Must tolerate inflated prices.
Its a clean store its been in Antioch for a long time have a nice deli however on a Saturday at close at 5 when we went in for dinner kind of odd other than that prices are kind of higher than normal produce whats good employees were employees were helpful
I like Raleys.Let me just say, you just cant beat there produce, meats, or delicious deli department and thhose guys in the meat department are the most friendlies and very knowledgeable . O ya, Raleys specialty items, like Nob Hill steak knives, ( I still have them in the custom wooden case; after 13 years, those beautiful deep sish soup bowls, ( I should have bought more of, and there NEW classes grocery bags are very nice. WHEN I see the Raleys name appear on any product, I know it is of the highest quality and taste. Thank You RaleysAnd , God Bless America

My cousin works there....but Raleys is the only store that sales mussels and clams.....i done shop there on a regular basis but when i do Raleys is the only place where i can find anything.....produce is great meats are great and the seafood department is excellent....i love this store.....
Great quality meats are available. They also offer a nice selection of organic foods and local produce. However, the prices are higher than most stores in the area.

Very clean but a staff member could see me sitting down at a designated area by the food to sit . He asked me if I found everything it felt like he was pressuring me to go to check out cause I hadnt yet checked out . I dont know for sure but thats how I felt . Prices are a little to high as well
Order a cake on a Monday to pick up on a Sunday and i told them i wanted the borders in gold color and even wrote down happy anniversary for them in spanish ...took the logo as a picture and told them how big i wanted it. They said it was going to be ready at 2pm. My husband got there past 2 and rhey told him to come back half and hour later since it was not ready..and when they gaved it to him it didnt have the logo right size it didnt say anything like i wrote it and it was orange!!!!🙄called to complain and the lady said to them that was gold...really???? .She was rude and said they couldnt do anything about it.i will never order another cake from them.

Had some get well balloons aired up and bought some flowers for my mom, who had just come out of surgery up the street. They were quick, friendly, and helpful.
Raley’s store is very convenient for me, parking is always available, staff is very friendly and available to help. Prices are on a higher side but that’s fine their quality is good.

Always go to Raleys! So close to home sideways have everything! My only complaint is the Deli for hot food is never ready when its time to open...you can get a sandwich but dont exspect potatoe wedges with it! Lol

Always so crowded. They never have enough checkstands open yet I see employees standing around chatting not helping customers.
The bakery makes great cakes. Had a last minute request once and they made it happen. Im very grateful for that.
Very friendly and great customer service. Have to look for deals/specials, if not can be a bit pricey.
I really love this Raleys. They have the freshest Deli meals around and a HUGE selection for the meat eater and the vegetarian!
Compared to Costco, much fresher. Compared to Safeway, much cheaper. Compared to Whole Foods, find another store.
Pay a little more but no long lines. I can get in and out quickly so its worth the extra money sometimes. Clean and friendly.

Not a bad grocery store, newly renovated interior and good selection. Unfortunately its not in a good area so there can be an issue with the rif-raf in the area.

2022-05-16Raleys is not what it used to be many years ago. Some items are outdated, or not on the shelf.Fewer cashiers, (who need training) and so, long waits.I choose to go for specific few items that might have better quality than other stores. The Gluten Free area is gone.I am glad is there, for its practical location.

2022-07-22Been an Antioch Staple my whole life. My mom used to look forward to talking with a checker named Glenda when I was a kid. Still a small town vibe today. Using their delivery service is totally different then the rest. At other stores if they dont have something they automatically pick something similar which usually isnt similar or close to something you would want even if you choose do not substitute (Im looking at you Safeway) I ordered some groceries and the next day I got a phone call and the lady left a message when I didnt answer because I didnt know the number. I called back and she picked up. Told me she was getting my items but she was sorry they were out of A&W cream soda. She asjed me if id like something else or a credit back for the item. I told her I was impressed she even called and gave me a choice and how other places just give you something else without asking. She said why would I do that? I dont know what you might want or if you even want anything else. She sat on the phone with me and looked all over the store for another type of cream soda or a different size of a&w like a 2 liter. I mean it when I say all over the store. Like 2 different cold drink coolers and different aisles they might be on. Then she went and checked in the back all while explaining what she was doing, what she was finding, and eventually she just apologized and told me she couldnt find anything else we had thought of. I asked her if they had another type of sods and she found one and put it in the order and never once sounded put off or in a hurry and even said she was sorry again before hanging up and saying she would try and make sure they had some ordered for next time. In 2022 in a city if over 100k people and this store is still going above and beyond to make you feel like you are important and valued. Way to go Raleys you have a customer for life.

2020-07-30Great inventory. They usually have everything Im looking for and their selection is good. The bakery makes awesome cakes...tiramisu is better than every other store bought Ive tried. The store is clean and well organized. Lastly, the staff is kind and helpful.

Im in my forties and Ive been coming here since I was a child and they have great produce sometimes times its produce from around the area so it doesnt go see the thousands of hands. Their selection of meat is good and their staff is wonderful every single person that works there has a smile and is always happy even if people are shoplifting there still have a smile on that face they might be mad but they dont show it have a good day my Raleys friends

2022-01-26I shopped here all the time because Im an instacart shopper, and the people in this store are very friendly. They have an excellent selection of groceries, and theyre usually well-stocked. Like all raleys theyre not the cheapest but you can get a bang for your buck on certain items.

2022-03-19I really like the employees. They are very helpful. Don and Chrissie always help me find the cut of meat or fish, Martin helps me find the perfect produce, Chennerie (and I know I have misspelled her name) in the deli is most helpful, and Marcus helps me bag my groceries and when I am feeling poorly, helps me load the bags in my trunk. The employees make my grocery shopping a pleasant experience!

2021-12-07I just love this store. I recently moved to Sacramento and literally dont know anyone. The energy is so welcoming when I shop that you would think ive been shopping here for years. the store is clean, convenient, with employees who are quick and always friendly, (no matter what time it) Plus they have the best fresh fruit.

2021-12-06I bought a cake for the bakery department for my sisters birthday. This use to the only place I buy my cakes from. But something was different. The lady I was placing my order with was rude. Ive never had that type of experience with any of their employees. NEVER! I been buying the same cake for over 6 years straight. No matter the occasion. A cream cheese strawberry cake. It use to be the BOMB.COM. but this time go around it was a sizzle. It tasted like cream sugar instead of cream cheese. I tired calling the store they day of and after with no answer. I then proceeded to go back to the store to get my money back because it was nasty and we threw it away. I spoke with the store manager and she made me feel like I was lying about my experience which I didnt appreciate. I felt really uncomfortable with the situation. I end up getting my money back. I just wont buy another from this location. I GUess Safeway will be my new cake place.
