The room itself was great, and spacious. AC worked well, however, I was placed by a ice machine and elevator that woke me up every time it was used. The pool is very small and no jacuzzi. Breakfast items were stale and limited. Final grief was the linens reeked of bleach but at least everything was clean. I Probably won’t return.
Mediocre motel at best. Poorly maintained motel. Dirty room the first night. The heater was out, it was loud outside our door and blinds didn’t shut all the way. There was hair all over the bathroom and no bath mat. I slept in my coat. Woke up freezing cold! They did move us to a much better room the next night.
We thought this hotel was great and the staff was very friendly. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the showers were nice and hot. Theres a coffee maker and refrigerator near the bathroom area which was nice. The bedding and floors were nice and clean. The only downside about this property would be the pool (its super small) and the parking. When we stayed, it was sold out and there wasnt enough parking for all of the their guests, so they would have cars parked long ways behind others. If the guests registered their cars, it wasnt a big deal, they would call them in the morning as people were leaving and theyd go out and move it. That wasnt our luck! We had a truck parked behind us that wasnt registered. We were stuck until they decided to leave. We were there for 3 nights and we had to go down to the office and get nee towels which wasnt a huge deal.. they offer a sack breakfast with a small water bottle, apple sauce, and danish and granola bar.. This is walking distance to Disneyland!!!!! We walked in the mornings, Im not so sure our kids wouldve made it walking back after walking all day. We got a ride to the hotel. We were in room 309 and its perfect to see the fireworks on the weekends at 9pm at Disneyland! Overall, its a great place to stay and we will definitely stay again.
We stayed two nights on 1/2/22 and when we returned to our room on the second day housekeeping didn’t clean the room at all. Trash wasn’t out, bed wasn’t done and our dirty towels weren’t taken and we didn’t get new towels. They didn’t even try to make anything right, I only got $12.65 back for the poor experience. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.
We arrived at 12 noon and room wasnt available so we decided to head to park. I am 7 months pregnant and asked for a restroom before we left and they didnt have any for the public in the lobby so had to wait until we arrived at the park which was a super long walk. Never stayed at a hotel where there wasnt a restroom for guests in the lobby. Walk is bareable in the day but not a good idea at night. Rooms were okay, old and musty at first but we just needed a place to sleep. Not a horrible hotel if youre on a budgets but we definitely wont stay there again.
Positive: Short drive to the parks , we really just needed a clean place to sleep and shower . It had everything we needed, plus coffee maker , fridge and microwave. Loved that it did not have carpet ! Staff was very friendly at check in . Negative: The parking lot is small and so are the spaces. Our truck almost did not fit so keep that in mind . There was small as if someone at some point smoked weed in the room . The room was visually clean , not sure about deep clean.
Covid has messed up everything. They dont clean up your rooms after we leave and come back your room and beds are not made, but they tell you this when you check in. Also you have to pick up your own extra towels and in the am you pick up a bag of continental breakfast with a small bottle of water, a package roll, a package of granola bar and a stale cutie orange. Now other than that the rooms are a great size can and beds have a great mattress and nice clean linens, towels enough for 4 people, small refrigerators and a microwave. Coffee pack with small coffee maker and coffee is good 👍 to my surprise. Ac unites work well, not a noisy place and area is nice. Bathrooms are nice and clean and has an open as you want window to the back of the unites which lets air in also to my surprise.
Positive: The staff was really nice and helpful. It was very close to Disney and you could see the fireworks at night. Negative: The room didn¿t feel clean, there was hair in the shower. Room was older and the window shades didn¿t cover the window all the way so you didn¿t have full privacy. The parking spots were all very small. Lots of fees for mediocre place.
Its just a step up from a motel 6. It may have been a motel 6 at one time. If we werent so tired when we arrived we may have looked for another place. We felt taken by the price. My wife even saw that similar rooms were cheaper online the day we arrived. They would not price match saying the extra amount was for the sofa bed. The actual sofa looked like it had not been cleaned or it was worn over many years. The pull out bed was like any hide-a-bed. Seems like the pricing would be more competitive in Anaheim but to be fair I didnt actually look. The interior was nice and that kind of makes it deceiving when viewing pics online. The floor in the bathroom was uneven. The TV was tiny. The window covering did not fully cover the window. A towel had very questionable stains. The room smelled funny. There were no smoking signs everywhere but someone was obviously smoking and did a terrible job trying to hide it. They were only doing a bagged breakfast because of COVID which consisted of a packaged pastry, granola bar, snack size apple sauce and small water bottle. They stated room service was unavailable due to COVID; that actually didnt bother me much but thought others would want to know. They were paving the parking lot one of the days we were there. If they had been up front about that when booking we probably would not have booked. They had to valet our vehicle to another site even though we left before they started and came back after it was done. The parking spaces are tiny; difficult for a van or truck. The only ice machine was outside room 208. Thankfully we were not in that room and I would not suggest letting them book you in that room. Its nice that it had a fridge and microwave. The beds were comfy, which is sometimes all that matters. The shower was kind of weak; it streamed out evenly but only a little better than a trickle. The fixtures did not look installed properly but they worked. The staff was otherwise nice except for not price matching. If staying on a weekend the Disneyland fireworks are clearly visible from balcony.
Very nice and quaint, great the the price and to top it off the front desk people are super sweet. Room were very clean and the bed and sheets were very comfortable! Loved my little stay here and it is just a small Lyft drive to the Disneyland park, Lyft drivers are all over the place waiting to be called
Horrible! My husband is a combat veteran who is disabled. We were going to get a room but my husband was jumped by three men who stole some of our belongings.Never the less, we had pulled in there and to our horror our car would not start again? We slept in it overnight with our babies and the next morning my husband and I thought it only right that we go in the office and let them know our situation.I still cant believe that this horrible woman told us that; f we didnt move our car before she left work? That she would call the police and a tow truck!?First I want to get something straight, we are not trashy people, or rude or messy and we drive a pretty decent car. She didnt even know we were out in the parking lot until we told her.She did such a horrible and evil thing to a good and loving man.I would never stay here or any place that is affiliated with it.
I did not like the way I was given my room. My bed sheets were stained! I then found a bed bug I have a picture. I checked out immediately the next morning. I would’ve done it at that very moment but we were on vacation and didn’t know where else to go for the night. So I shortened my stay and when I checked out I showed the front desk the picture of the bed bug and mentioned my bed sheets were stained. The picture had the date and time on it so the front desk knew I wasn’t lying and I wasn’t even offered the night for free how the hotel should follow protocol! I will never be staying here again! I have never stayed at a hotel so unprofessional & not clean. They need to get pest control ASAP. Would definitely not recommend.
This place was amazing for the price and location being close to Disneyland. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was nice. Staff was friendly and Housekeeping tidied our room for us daily with fresh towels and made beds. The only reason this place isn’t getting 5 stars is because the laminate floors were dirty. We had to wear flip flops around because they would turn your feet black if you walked barefoot. If the floors were clean like the rest of the room then this place would be just about Perfect. Other thing that would be awesome is if the pool was heated but not a deal breaker. It was warm outside but the pool was still too cold for the kids to use it. But overall We would stay here again.
Positive: Large room Negative: Privacy concerns due to space on either side of window curtain when it was lowered. Someone could look into the room if they really wanted to. Creative use of the closet and bathroom doors gave privacy when using the vanity area outside of the bathroom.
During our entire stay our room was never cleaned, we had a lot of dirt on the floor from our camping trip and beach trip and we had a pile of wet towels in the corner of our room. My wife was not happy but we made due. I would really like some sort of compensation for this lack of service.
Three big maintenance style trucks took up 2 parking spots each all week and there wasnt enough parking to start with. Got a wakeup call at 630 to go move my vehicle so the big maintenance truck could get out. Cant park on the street either because the neighborhood is sketchy.
The hotel parking was horrible. There WAS no parking and the spots were tiny. I got no sleep because I was worried about the safety of my new car. The door to my room didn’t fit the frame because A LOT of light shined through the bottom and I could see light from under the door/wall between my room and the neighbors.
Our room looked nothing at all like the photos. They are around 15years out of date and desperately need to be updated. Our grab and go “breakfast” consisted of a little water, a granola bar, a scone that made me sick and a mushy/rotten mandarine. This all while their website was boasting of their great hot breakfast. Don’t recommend this place. Go to the Sheraton Four Winds just up the street.
There were bed bugs the front desk offered us a new room accepted but, to our surprise we were bit again in the new room. The front desk were shocked that I went the second time to let them know & told me it couldnt be because, they checked the previous room & found nothing. But the bites my child, husband, & I had didnt appear out of no where. & it couldnt of been at Disneyland like the man at the front desk suggested because, we would of felt it at the time rather than wake up to an itching sensation or big red bumps on our bodys.😏😡
This hotel is not worth the price and will do much less than satisfy your basic needs. It was dirty and the staff was not helpful. Housekeeping was not offered or even spoken about. The floors in the rooms were filthy, there was hair in the shower and holes in the curtains. The man who checked us in was not helpful or even really friendly and did not provide information about the hotel. He asked for payment and that was about it.
The staff works hard to make everything just right. If they fall short, I would say it is due to customers who do not have any respect for the property. The location is great! It is between the Packing House District (very cool urban area with multiple bar, restaurant and sweets) and Disneyland. I have seen this hotel advertised as “within walking distance to Disneyland” but it would be a long walk of about a mile. We walked to the Packing District and it was a mile.I was in room 326 which is an end room with windows on 3 sides. Not the best views but the natural lighting is awesome. The room is slightly dated but is nice and was very clean. I did notice the hotel is currently remodeling rooms one or 2 at a time.Toiletries - towels... Not of High end hotel quality but they’re fine.Breakfast is your standard hotel breakfast. Everything was always well stocked and the area was clean. To sum it up... IMO, this hotel is well worth the price and I recommend.
The hotel is clean with spacious rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. Disneyland is nearby and there is an ART stop near the hotel. Parking at the hotel is an issue. Breakfast was adaquate, but lacking compared to other Quality Inns. We stayed several nights and basic toiletries in the room were not restocked by housekeeping. We had to ask the front desk for more soap, shampoo, etc... Overall it is a good value near Disneyland and I wont hesitate to stay again.
The hotel itself wasn’t bad. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Typical room. But the beds. OMG. They all were the noisiest things ever!!! If you are a tosser and turner this may not be the place for you. If you are simply laying your head down between Disneyland days and don’t mind some noise, it’s not bad. Breakfast was as expected - small but it worked. Parking was crazy - too small of lot for the size of the hotel. However if you did like we did and took the ART bus to Disneyland it wasn’t too bad. (I would reccomend the bus anyhow - quick and efficient!). Overall not horrible except for the beds....
A nice place to stay when visiting Disneyland. Clean moderately quiet rooms. Walking distance from Disneyland if you are in shape, on shuttle route if you are not. WARNING about the parking lot...it is obnoxiously small and does NOT have enough space for all if they are heavily booked. Id recommend arriving early for check-in if driving or consider this location only if you fly into the area and can take a cab here.
The room was up to date and a lot nicer than expected! Very clean with a large mini fridge, microwave, hair dryer, and tv! The staff was very friendly and would always say hi when you passed by! Great location right next to Disneyland! Breakfast was mediocre but their danishes were really good! The beds were fine just a little creeky when you would get in or out of them. Overall great experience and would stay here again!
This is not the normal type or brand of hotel I stay at for business, but I stayed 4 nights here and would absolutely do it again. The staff was very attentive, and friendly. The rooms were very clean. I had families with kids move in and out throughout the week; I am not sure what the walls are made of, but you cant hear a thing from next door. For the money, this has to be the best value in the area.
Great value for the money. Very spacious and clean rooms, comfortable beds and updated large bathroom. Staff very friendly and helpful, Breakfast is great, and awesome breakfast area to eat in! The grounds are beautiful, used uber to get back and forth to disneyland, worked great! however parking is free at this hotel, which is great! I would definitely stay here again!
Great hotel for price and location. Super close to Disneyland. Great hot breakfast and the room are currently getting upgraded with wood flooring, love that. I feel it makes the rooms smell and fell cleaner. Great staff....everyone was super sweet no matter the time of day. This will definitely be my first choice of hotel when I am in the area!
Had a really wonderful stay. The rooms are large, very comfortable, affordable, and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My grandchildren had a fabulous time in the pool. Disneyland is a bit of a hike away, but public transport is very close and goes right to Disneyland. All in all had a wonderful stay. The breakfast is a great additional benefit and included in the price. I wish there were more restaurants nearby...but all in all so much more than I expected for the price...an exceptional value...
If I had to live in a motel, Id try this one. But I dont have to, thats just how much I liked it. Staff was over the top accommodating. Housekeeping not only cleaned our room, changed the sheets, made the beds, replenished towels, replaced used coffee supplies, and tidied up; they also went so far as to fold our sons personal blanket on top of his bed, and staged his stuffed animals as if they were anxiously awaiting his return. We loved it.The pool was clean and nice to be in. Wish it was heated, but oh well.Office staff was more than helpful in explaining local public transportation so we could get to our destination.Everyone was very friendly and helpful.Breakfast was awesome. Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, cold cereal, bagels, muffins, waffles, and more!Stay here if you can.
Chose this hotel after reading a handful of good reviews and happy to say they where not wrong. Property was 4 min drive from DisneyLand and Close to local freeways and restaurants. The morning breakfast was actually really good and enjoyable. Property and rooms are well cared for the only real down fall I have to say is the walls and floors are really thin so noise travels easy.
I liked that this hotel was close to Disneyland, but far enough away that it didnt have people all over. It was quiet and had easy access to get on and off the freeway. The room was clean, beds were comfortable. The breakfast options could have been better, but it was nice to be able to get a hot meal in the morning before heading out.
Decent place to stay. Not too far of a walk to Disneyland or California adventures. I dont know if its all showers but in our room, when wed shower it would turn into a bath. By the time we were finished showing the water was up to it ankles. And deluxe breakfast is waffles, mini biscuits and gravy and baked goods.
My overall experience was okay. The staff was very pleasant. This hotel is close enough to Disneyland without paying Resort prices! Room was clean and it was nice to have mini-fridge and microwave in room. Please keep in mind that you will hear the fireworks from Disneyland at 9:30 pm which last about 20 min. A decent selection for breakfast if you get there early! Parking lot is very narrow and it was hard to park our SUV/Crossover vehicle. We did not utilize the pool area but the pool is very small. We had an issue with the incorrect address on the parking pass that we used to guide us back to the hotel from Disneyland, so we got lost. Also, when we went for breakfast on the 2nd day of our stay there wasnt a lot to choose from, we were told to come back in 20 minutes! I reported our issues to staff and hopefully they took my advice to correct issues. I would recommend this hotel the others.
The hotel is a 20 minute walk to Disneyland main gate. We were a party of five and our ubers were $12. Our room was large and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the free breakfast. It was similar to all free hotel breakfast, a few cereals, yogurts, waffle maker, eggs were weird.
This is simply an average hotel. It advertises that it is a main gate hotel while it is probably a mile and a half away and one of the sidewalks crosses over the freeway, making it an uncomfortable walk. The city bus stops about a half block away and the fee is reasonable, $3 per person. The elevator is in dire need of repair and cleaning and some were afraid to use it. The balcony area, where the doors to each room is, is in need of remodel....it leans to the outside. The room attendants were very nice but only one spoke English. Our rooms were very clean however dated. The bedding was warm and comfortable. The heater/air conditioner worked just great. Parking is limited although free......the office attendant actually let us use his parking spot because there were no others. The breakfast was a nice variety but there are only 5 small tables in the room. I would probably stay there again but its definitely not all its pumped to be.
The rooms were updated. The staff was nice. Parking was great with being able to leave to go to the park. Continental breakfast was good. Room, particularly the bathroom was not very clean. There was black mold in the grout and on the ceiling. Two small dry blood spots on the shower wall. One near the faucet and one near the shower curtain. The worst was there was a crumpled up fake mustache inside the sheets.
Nice room, comfortable beds. For the most part felt clean. You can tell it is an older property but they are renovating to make it more up to date. Good breakfast, typical variety of food and Mickey Pancakes! Friendly staff. Small parking lot, but always had a parking spot available for us. Small pool, but didn’t use. 5 minute drive to Disneyland, no free shuttle service.
Rooms are clean. I like the no carpet floors. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. They had good information for the nearby area. Close enough to walk to Disneyland or catch the bus. Rooms are affordable and comfortable. Breakfast bar is a bit lacking but not bad.
Really nice beds, and clean rooms! I was suprised since the surrounding hotels seem to have bed bugs and roaches roaming around. These guys didnt though :) Only complaints about the hotel is that the AC wasnt on when we first walked in but it worked fine and after about two hours the room was cool and the parking is very limited! If you have a truck, good luck. Breakfast couldve been better but food is food. Really good hotel in my opinion and super close to Disneyland!
I chose this hotel mainly because of the price and because i had previously stayed at a Choice hotel and liked it. The price was great and couldnt be beat. Although while it is close to Disneyland, it is a bit far to walk so we used UBER/LYFT for our trips back and forth to the parks. The rooms were very nice and clean aside from a few stains (one on the ceiling, one on the curtains and one on the bedding) which to be honest, did not really bother us, but they were there. The beds and pillows are SOOOO comfortable and I wish I could buy one, we slept so good. The breakfast that they offer was very good for us, although they advertise that breakfast is at 630 am, it was not set up completely until closer to 645 am or later every day. Although the hotel was booked, it was very quiet and we heard no noise what so ever. We could not stay connected to the WIFI and it kept going off and on, so that was rather annoying at times. All in all, it was a very nice stay and I will consider staying here again in the future.
I did lots of looking into surrounding hotels and this one was priced in my budget. Hoping that it would be ok. Got here I was extremely impressed very clean ( new renovation) so far the guest night the staff head been extremely helpful. From checking in and giving me all the info needed to visit Disneyland and friendly when doing so. Came to my room personally to show is how to use indoor jet tub. Parking was limited when I got back late and staff dont time to help. I am overall very happy and impressed. I felt to needy but than they took care of everything. Thank you
Our family of 5 enjoyed our 3 night stay. The room was spacious and clean. Beds were very comfy with nice linens and LOTS of fluffy pillows. Our room was kept clean and well stocked throughout our stay. It was lovely to return to a nice neat room at the end of a long day in the parks. Breakfast was pretty standard, a decent variety and filled our tummies. I would have loved a bagel & cream cheese but the English muffins with jelly did the trick ;) Overall, we feel it was a great value considering the convenient location and awesome view of the fireworks. We will definitely return.
Overnight trip to DisneylandPositives- large room, fairly comfortable queen beds, laminate/wood floors. Offers a nominal breakfast.Negatives- not clean, body hair in bathroom, coffee pot had not been cleaned in awhile.. tons of build up. The housekeeping staff needs help. Very small pool, no hot tub...although its a room option. When I let them know at check out -Nothing was credited, a shrug of the shoulders kinda sorry was given. I should have went down immediately and had them give us a different room, but we were SO tired. Generally a discount of some sort is given in these instances, but no. Wouldnt stay there again.
It is one of the worst experiences that I ever had, first when we came they charged us for a “resort fee” of 80 dollars that was supposed to cover the Wi-Fi breakfast and swimming pool, (the swimming pool was closed and the breakfast was a protein snack and water) also Wi-Fi and breaking were supposed to be free, that’s what the website says. Moreover we had 2 rooms the first one was smelling cigarette and the second was smelling weed, we had to change the hotel after the second night because the inefficiency!
Had a very comfortable stay. The bathroom was a bit dated but the beds were comfy and the room was spacious. Very close to disneyland. Nice value and nice neighborhood. Breakfast was challenging. Small room, only 1 waffle maker so you had to wait in line for like 20 min to make a waffle and there wasnt enough seating. Parking lot is very small and tight. Overall we enjoyed our stay here!
Hotel staff was very nice and responsive. Beds and linens exceeded my expectations - very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Breakfast tasted just alright for me, had a little bit of everything (pastries, toast, fresh waffles, egg patties, juice/cofee), but greatly appreciated since it was included with the room. We got a 2Q+Sofabed, which fit 2 adults and 2 big kids quite roomily. The only drawback was waiting for the Disneyland shuttle since this hotel is about 1 mile from park entrance, so plan for 15-20 minute wait.
The beds were updated, cozy and clean. Complete with extra pillows. Every inch of the room was cleaned perfectly and the carpet was very clean too. Pool was clean as was the elevator. Room amenities were useful complete with shampoo and conditioner. The fridge and microwave were not only clean but didnt smell funny as they sometimes can. My favorite part of all besides the wonderful bed and great customer service was the biscuits and gravy, sausage, fruit waffles and the rest of the awesome breakfast! Its about a 10 minute drive to Disney but there is public transportation for a good price.
We were here for a family vacation, the staff got us adjoining rooms without asking for them. Great staff here and the hotel was like the pictures, yes the rooms are that big. Snacks and a welcome were waiting for us in the room that we found nice and clean and smelling nice. Staff was pleasant and friendly including the person that stocked the breakfast we all found quite good. I would recommend the is hotel to all that come whether for business or for Disneyland as it is nice an close to all.
Its with great pleasure that I am reviewing this hotel. When we arrived, Joe greeted us with a smile and was proficient in getting us checked in and answering our questions about the area. The room was perfect and everything wed hoped. Since my daughter was running 2 Disney races, we were there 5 nights. Joe had given us info on how to grab a bus to Disney, however since its only a 20 minute walk we opted to walk there and bring the bus back to the hotel. Our room had 2 Queen beds, which were very comfortable and welcomed each evening! Each morning I looked forward to the huge breakfast that was included: Fruit, eggs, sausage, biscuits/gravy, yogurt, cereal, choice of juices, breads /pastries, coffee and my favorite ... Waffles!! We were grateful for the on-sight laundry available for our use. I would suggest bringing laundry soap/softner as I wasnt impressed with what was available for $2 a packet. Each wash or dry was $2 and the machines worked great. Parking was free (wow!) so that was a pleasant surprise. Every employee went out of their way to assist / accomodate us. Their pride in their job and their facility was evident as this was a wonderful hotel. GREAT job and I will recommend this hotel to everyone I know!!
Had a lovely stay at this hotel. We were very comfortable and loved the pillows and beds. The room was very very clean and the TV was nice and had HBO. The continental breakfast was really good. The people that stayed in the room above ours were loud in the early morning hours and I mentioned it to the front desk and they spoke to the people about it, without mentioning it was me who complained about the noise, and that solved the problem. The pick up location for the ART shuttle to Disney is really close. The air conditioner worked great. It smelled a little like mildew when we first turned it on but the smell went away and our room never smelled bad. I love the large sink in the bathroom and all the counter space. And I like the fact that the sink isnt in the same room as the toilet. Everyone we spoke to at the front desk was very nice and professional. It was a very pleasant stay and we will be staying here again next year when we go to Disneyland again!
This hotel is NOT not near Disneylands main gate. It is however a nice hotel for a quick stay at the parks. Our room was clean, but did have a musty smell. Beds made up and fresh towels daily. The breakfast was a bit sparse compared to other Choice Hotels weve stayed at. Kids liked the waffles and biscuits and gravy.
Not so close to Disneyland as expected. Most of the employees were helpful and nice. Breakfast was good but cold most days. No room to park. Rooms were clean but housekeepers didnt leave enough washcloths or renew the laundry bags. (You use a lot of laundry in 7 days with near 100 degree heat)
We booked a group rate at the hotel for a nearby basketball tournament over a long holiday weekend. The check-in and check-out process was easy and pleasant. The staff was helpful and attentive. The room was clean and spacious (2 queens with plenty of room for an extra rollaway bed) and came equipped with a mini refrigerator and microwave. Wi-fi worked well in the room. The pool was tiny and freezing cold (but our stay was in February, so no surprise there). No problems with parking in the hotel lot. Pretty good breakfast (Belgian waffles, eggs, biscuits, cold cereal, yogurt, fruit, pastries, english muffins, etc.). We had a phenomenal view of the Disney fireworks from our room. Overall the hotel provided great value for the money.
Not enough hanging areas for towels and bathingsuits. Not a large enough pool. Not enough outdoor seating. Very noisy! Could hear fireworks every night from Disneyland. The maid service was good. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We did tip house keeping and got it every other day as needed. Was pretty satisfied over all. Rooms have microwave and fridge. The toilet and shower are separate from the sink which is awesome for getting ready!
Room was clean! That was a big must for us, of course. Location to Disney was great. We took an Uber to and from the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only reason why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 was because the parking was tight. And the AC unit was noisy. Breakfast was basic, enough to get us through the morning.
The staff was very friendly and for a motel it was great. Everything was as expected for the price. The parking is extremely tight. So tight that our car was backed into. Smaller stalls are marked as “Compact”. It is very close to Disneyland and with all right turns you can make it to Ball Rd with only one left turn onto Disneyland Drive to park. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything going on outside.
Stayed here with my family to visit Disneyland. The room was comfortable and clean. The free breakfast was delicious and helped us save money. It was really nice to come home to a clean and fresh hotel room every night after long days of playing at Disneyland. Decent view of fireworks too!
We enjoyed our stay. We booked the room with three queen beds. The room was spacious and everything was as advertised. The breakfast each morning was good. The rooms were clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. However, this hotel is not walking distance to Disney. Although it states Main Gate we had to walk over I-5 and with the on/off ramps, that was scary, with children. We walked one day only, and opted to drive the other two days for our safety.
Better than I expected. As a germaphobe, I felt like the bathtub could use some ajax and I had to scrub it before running a bath, but other than that, Im happy about our stay here. Quite a long walk to/from the parks, but its doable and overall safe. The pool area was quiet and clean, my toddler had a lot of fun swimming. Staff is very friendly and manager on site was so accommodating. Theres also a great view of the fireworks show.
We planned a trip for disneyland and I wanted to have a longer stay at the park so I was looking to stay somewhere more affordable. Not being extremely familiar with the surrounding hotels I took to the reviews to make my choice on where I would stay. Let me tell you I couldnt have been happier! Location was fine a little far to walk but art picks you up right in front of hotel. Rooms were spacious had nice amenities and were CLEAN. Now where they really separate themselves is their staff, wow this staff is amazing. Everyone extremely friendly eager to help out and always greeting you with a smile. The staff at this hotel was friendlier than the employees at disneyland! Free breakfast was nice WiFi is decent housekeeping amazing and Alfred at the front desk is incredible. We picked up annual passes to disneyland so we will be coming a lot more often and this is the hotel I will be staying at.
I was a little nervous when we booked this hotel as we knew nothing about it except for what we read online. I was extremely impressed. The hotel was very comfortable and clean and included breakfast where you could choose from a variety of items. Sausage, eggs, waffles, muffins, cereal, etc. Our room had been recently renovated and modernized. The staff were all very friendly. We would definitely stay there again, and I wouldnt be scared to recommend it to others. It was also an affordable hotel. The only downsize is that the pool is not very useable as it is extremely small.
I added this hotel after deciding to stay in Anaheim for an extra night and not being able to add a night at the hotel we had stayed in prior. The building is old, but had been updated decently enough. The price was good, but it ended up being very much a ‘get-what-you-pay-for’ experience. The accommodations are adequate, but definitely not luxurious. The pool is so small that they really ought to just remove it. Free breakfast was okay, but not great. The worst thing about the place was the parking. There is not enough of it and many of the slots are tiny. I was asked to double park and was called early in the morning to move out of the way so other guests could leave. 2-3 other guests had to do the same thing. The staff seemed unwilling and unable to help. The price was good though.
Hotel room was generous for one night stay with aging sister so we could attend a family wedding. Clean, good hanging space, coffee supplies for am. Adequate A/C clean towels if mixed ages and quality. Bath tub lacked Grab bars so older sister could not use. Too hard straight back chairs and one small round table was hardly enough in the way of other furnishings for a room that called itself is sweet and slept six people. Space needed a larger table with more chairs and the sofa at a minimum to be called a suite. Front desk staff gracious and professional. Skipped breakfast to dine out with a family wedding brunch. Prefab hockey puck industrial egg patties weren’t terribly appealing anyway Pool too small to be worth the effort of putting on a suit
The hotel is advertised as a Disneyland Maingate hotel. It is not, it is three blocks down, over the 5 highway overpass, and even the ARC #10 shuttle drops you off two blocks down. The hotel was completely booked and by nightfall there is not enough parking. The staff is courteous and helpful. The rooms are larger than most, fit three electric scooters, and were neat and clean. Nice place to stay if you dont mind some of the inconvenience and want to spend a little less.
The hotel is ok overall but what i didnt like was 2 main things. 1. The Disneyland fireworks at night are heard so well from this hotel that it kept me from being able to go to sleep. It was like SUPER loud. 2. Lots of pan handlers on the sidewalk in front. We wanted to walk to Disneyland from this hotel but every 50 ft someone is doing you for a hand out and i felt unsafe near some. So if you are planning on walking to the park from here i wouldnt recommend it, take an Uber instead.
First, let me say the beds are quite soft and comfortable... and not just for hotel beds - they are good. And I start there because thats all that they got right. The parking lot is there, and free, but it is cramped, being also a little hard to park and even turn your car around in. The Air-Conditioner spat little black pellets into the room, so we had to build a wall from luggage to protect ourselves and the beds. The one power outlet in the room was so loose that nothing we plugged into them stayed in the plug. The only other outlets in the room itself were built into the lamp, and it had the same issue (they couldnt fix this). The say it is a warm breakfast, but there is no actual meat - just eggs and waffle. The hotel is also a good 25 minute walk from the Disney entrance (including an up and over the highway) and thats a long walk after a full park day. That the hotel doesnt provide any transportation option other than to buy transit tickets is another stupidity. And to top it off, the staff never really seemed to care about any of the above, and instead I felt like I was bring a thorn in their side that everything wasnt perfect. Other than the beds, that was the most disappointing hotel stay Ive had ANYWHERE in decades.
This hotel really surprised me of how clean the room was. I had a ver bad experience once in a hotel that had bed bug. So every time I stay in a hotel I have to check the beds before letting my family sit on them. The mattress had covers over them and just by seeing that made my day. After A long day at Disneyland the last thing I wanted to do was check the room. The sheets to the bed very clean and white the bathroom was amazing big and very clean. Swimming pool was small but perfect for my kids. The front desk was very helpful and nice to customers. I definitely will be staying in this location again in the future.
Staff was helpful and friendly. This was my second stay at this hotel and I would definitely come back. The elevator to the top 2 floors makes for an excellent stay when your feet hurt after walking around Disneyland all day—it was nice to not have to climb up flights of stairs!
The hotel was in a great location for our Disneyland visit. The Hideout Pizza nearby delivers and the pizza was awesome! we could see Disneys fireworks from the hotel. There is a limited hot and cold breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. the AC was a little loud. There was a small mini fridge and microwave and tea and coffee. Parking was very limited especially for larger vehicles.
The room was a nice size and clean, we experienced no problems. Great view of fireworks from disneyland. The only downside would be the wifi my kids had trouble connecting to the internet and when they did the speed was super slow. However I had used my mobile data. It was close to disneyland about 20 minutes if you walk (I dont reccomend walking). Also hotel staff was super friendly and check in/out was easy. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again in the future.
Like most Quality Inns, this one is an older property that has been meticulously renovated and is well-maintained. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable. Close to I-5, and only a short drive to Disneyland. It is not within walking distance, although there is another QI in Anaheim that fits that description. We stayed at that one last year, but confused the two hotels when we booked this trip. Nevertheless, we were fortunate, since our room appeared to be recently updated.
We were pleased to find that our room was updated with new floors and counters and shower wall. Also the room was bigger than expected and the beds were actually comfortable and had four pillows per bed instead or two, which made it more comfortable. Joe was very helpful and nice with my reservation and when checking out.
My daughter and I stayed here and it was a good place to stay. The room was clean and beds are perfect. Never a problem and housekeeping was the best. The one thing I would say, the parking was a struggle since they were so tight & hard to get out of your car or couldnt avoid dinging car next to you.
The hotel was very clean and staff was very friendly. The parking is horrible and odd shaped. If you get there after 8pm on a weekend you will have extreme difficulty with parking. The internet is very slow. The children run up and down the hallways starting about 7am and parents have no regard for anyone sleeping. We had a room next to the elevator and got to hear EVERYONE leaving. We got very little sleep. The room has a window by the bathroom that is extremely bright and shines like a light. The white wooden blind helps exaggerate the glare. A blackout drape would work better. The pool is the size of a small jacuzzi or large bathtub. It only fits children up to about 7 or 8.
I recently had a four night stay at this hotel. I had been here three times in the past and always had good service. This time it was a completely different story. Two days the maid did not clean our room i told hotel manegment about it and they said the main housekeeper said i had the do not disturb sign on my door all day which was not true. I brought it in everyday before i left. I did get a deduction in my room rate which was good but i happily would have paid full price had the maid done her job. I wont be coming back in the future.
We have stayed here before, this is a convient location to Disneyland, fairly quiet, clean comfortable rooms. This stay we noticed that they could use a little upgrade to the beds as the one we got had a depreesion in the middle not as comfortable as we are use too. Little harder to set up getting our freinds into room as they arrived before us as they bstated they had some policy changes. Parking is tight so you have to be carefull around the cars. They have a great breakfst and there staff is freindly. I would like to commend the front desk staff for there profesionalism. I would recommend this hotel. There is a shuttle to the park with about a 5 minute drive or you can drive your car and park in the structure.
I have never stayed at this hotel. However; I would definitely go back. The check in staff were so very pleasant and funny made us feel good even after our long drive. Room was clean, inviting and bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows to pick from. We did not use the WiFi so I cant comment on this. We did have breakfast which consisted of eggs, sausage gravy, biscuits, waffles, cereals, danish/muffins, fruit, juices and coffee. Check out was quick and easy too. Definitely recommend staying here. Parking spots are limited so if you can avoid going back to the hotel late, we got back to hotel at 10:30 and parking was ok for us but in the morning I could see where someone had to park out near the sidewalk, but still on hotel grounds.
I really enjoyed our state here. Our room was on the upper floor on the outer corner of the hotel and had a great view of the fireworks at Disneyland. You could walk to the park but its like 20 minutes from this location. We took an Uber it was only a 3 minute drive.
The room was smaller than was explained to us for 6 people. The coffee was terrible! The breakfast was great! Had a lot of trouble connecting to the internet. We stayed a week, came home 2 days ago and my daughter has nits. It takes 8-10 days for nits to hatch, which puts us at the hotel for when she got them since they havent hatched yet. Will be writing a letter to corporate.
We arrived early and we able to get a room straight away. The staff was friendly. Breakfast had options for everyone. The beds were nice, I love the soft pillow top. My husband needs a former mattress but didnt mind the beds at all. The room was very clean with an up to date bathroom. Overall, I would stay here again anytime.
It was a little further of a walk than expected to get to the park, and we had an issue on arrival that was resolved a little less immediately than we would have liked. Plus the parking spaces are seriously small. However the beds were comfy and the breakfast is good. The gal who bussed the morning tables and kept the breakfast options stocked was especially sweet and friendly. She made the start of each day a little brighter. Only a 3 star experience if not for her.
Our last stay at a Quality Hotel near Disneyland was not what we would have expected. I, first, had difficulty reserving the room that was available. When we got to the hotel we got a smaller room than we had thought we reserved. Second, the carpets were filthy. When we walked around without shoes our feet got black. Quality hotels have really gone downhill. Major upgrades really need to be done. If I can afford Comfort suites I will stay there. But, unfortunately, Quality is our only choice under the Choice Hotel brand.
I was definitely pleased with our stay. Had 3 nice, comfortable queen beds as requested and the room was large with two mini fridge. One bed was at the end section of the room and was partly hidden by the wall, making it perfect for a little privacy. There were six.of us. Friendly staff and very helpful. This hotel is also in a perfect location , very close to the Disneyland entrance. Will stay here again for sure!
The location is just down the road from Disneyland, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is excellent. One noticeable improvement since our last stay, the parking lot is very narrow, but the hotel has since provided valet parking and the service is excellent. The valets are extremely polite and truly watch out for your car.(Just what I do, but a tip would be nice when you get your car back).
The hotel was clean and well taken care of. However, the shower head was very low and me being 61 had to duck down about a foot and a half in order to wash my hair. The parking situation is bad but we had no problems finding a space in November. The breakfast area was small and the selection was the exact same everyday. I also thought being as close to Disneyland as they were that they would have a shuttle service.
I stayed for 5 nights with my wife and 3 little girls. The room was very clean and basic.Thats all we wanted while going to Disneyland during the day. The breakfast filled us up and got us a great start for the day! Parking is a issue. There are not enough parking spaces. If you dont have children under 10, Disneyland is about a 15 to 20 min walk. You can purchase A.R.T bus passes at the hotel and that is another option so you dont have to drive any where
The hotel staff was very friendly. when we first got into the room it was hot so I turned on the AC and it was very loud. We were going to go out and get some dinner so I told the desk clerk about it. When we got back to the room a couple of hours later there was a brand new AC unit installed, quiet as can be. The rest of the stay was very pleasant. The breakfast consisted of waffles, cereal and pastries. They also had biscuits and gravy and some kind of egg patties that were OK with gravy on them. Otherwise pretty typical continental breakfast. Overall very nice place to stay.
Completely satisfied with the 3 night stay here for our Disneyland trip. The hotel is conveniently located 1.2 mi to the park. It is walkable for some but I preferred to take Uber with small kids. There is also ART shuttle stop around 500ft of the hotel. The hotel was clean with large enough rooms with microwave and refrigerator which is a must for us. The beds were comfortable for a good night sleep after tiring days at the park. The staff is very cordial and friendly. The breakfast is just like any other place with waffle, scrambled eggs, assorted muffins, pastries among other things. We could see the spectacular Disney fireworks right from our room on third floor. I definitely recommend this no frill place for just dropping for a good night sleep after park day.
My stay was ruined before I even stayed here. I had troubles and added stress on my end with my bank which forced them to cancel my booking. The attendant on the phone was of no help and was sassy and unfriendly in an already frustrating situation. After figuring it all out we were set and booked and I thought the stress was over, it was not.. We got to the hotel and were given the wrong room (I had booked the whirlpool room). I was then lead to believe it was our fault even after putting their statements about the bookings to the test and proving we had booked the correct room. The night manager was of no help in getting our proper room back and everyone was insanely uncommunicative and unaccommodating. The only good thing was the hotel room was very clean, it looks as if theyve just gone through a remodel. So if you prefer a clean room over the professionalism and friendliness of their customer service itll be fine for you, but good luck if you have any issues.
Good room, bad breakfast, no parking. The room was pretty large. The floor was more comfortable than the sofa bed. Great view of the Disneyland fireworks. They serve the same breakfast everyday. The eggs and biscuits and gravy were pretty nasty. The hotel has more rooms available than parking spaces so plan accordingly. Store and food within walking distance. Very small pool.
Overall had a positive experience during my Sunday night stay here, other than the bevy of hidden charges the hotel tried to sneak in on me. My third floor room was clean, decent sized, decently furnished. Everything worked properly and was in a good state of repair. The hotel was a little on the noisy side overnight, mostly families with young children, the hotel is very close to Disney. WiFi was good but not great. I feel like the value was OK for the rate paid. The negatives - the hotel tried to charge me $5.75 to park overnight - basically a hidden charge as far as I am concerned, was not made aware of this until check-in. Also upon check-in I was informed that a pre-authorization for an additional $75 would be taken on my credit card, for incidentals. The front desk person did, however, waive both items when I complained. I was checked out in the morning by the Hotel Manager, who seemed genuinely concerned to know how my stay was - while chatting with her I failed to notice the $5 I was charged for Sustainable Tourism Development Fund. No kidding. Although I liked the hotel and the room, I will not stay here again - too much effort to be constantly looking for all the hidden and extra charges.
This is a very nice, quiet, comfortable hotel. The rooms are spacious and our request for adjoining rooms on the top floor was granted. The breakfast is nice also with eggs, biscuits, gravy, yogurt and pastries as well as cereal and beverage choices and cook your own waffles.. We had been hoping for a hotel that was within easy walking distance, but this wasnt it. It is a good 20 minute or more walk to Disneyland park.
All Quality Inns are of equal quality. The staff was friendly but the hotel seemed old. Breakfast was better than some places, but not great compared to another Quality Inn that we have stayed in. I did request the top floor and an end unit, which I received. Thankful to not have people above. And we had a great view of the Disney fireworks from both the bathroom and side windows.
Very clean, comfortable, easy parking and easy to get to. No extra fridge or parking fees.It is a little far from Disneyland and a little awkward to use the ART shuttle, but it did work, but it also just might be worth paying a little more to stay at a hotel closer to Disneyland.
Great location in proximity to Disneyland. Not a bad walk. You can also catch the bus as well. Very friendly staff... incredibly pleasant to go to a hotel where youre greeted warmly. The parking lot can be tricky with a larger vehicle. And when people dont park in their spot and over the line it eats up space. The front office graciously let us park up front when parking was difficult.Breakfast is good and the staff work hard to keep everything clean and stocked. The room was great... nice and clean. Amenities include coffee pot, microwave, small fridge/freezer, safe in room. Door to the room stuck so having to slam it is not good. Hopefully that gets fixed.Never heard the freeway noise at all. Probably because we ran the A/C.This was our first stay at this property and well stay there again. Nice hidden gem among all the hotels near the park.
Everything was great about our experience. Check in was fast, friendly and easy. Our room was much larger than we expected and really nice. Parking was pretty terrible. All of the spots are just slightly too small which results in everyone parking within inches of each other. We had to get our kids out prior to my husband pulling in and then he had to try to squeeze out of his door. It wasnt just one spot, it was all of them. We slept great and our room was very comfortable. We had breakfast in the morning and it was great! The staff was very nice and helpful. Our only complaint was the parking.
Had a good two night stay while going to Disneyland. The hotel is close to Disneyland but a little far to walk. The drive to the park is very easy to navigate or the hotel offers a shuttle . There is a charge for the shuttle and it wont save you much over the Disney parking fee. If you leave the park early you can watch the fireworks from the 2nd floor walkway. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was adequate for free and there was enough options to choose from. The beds were a little to firm for me but that was the only complaint. A good value for being very close to the park.
Our room was great. Parking was hard. Few spots and narrow, even for a Honda Civic. Breakfast was good, but the area is small and I found myself having to navigate around children whose parents werent watching them. Its also a wait sometimes since the hot items go quickly. Id still stay there again.
We were pleasantly surprised by how large the room was. It was very clean, and both the evening and morning staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was close enough for us to either walk or take the shuttle to Disneyland. Even though we had checked out, we could leave our car parked at the hotel lot while we went to Disneyland, and the parking is free! We do plan on staying there again.
Decent room for the price. Nothing too fancy, but not an old smelly run-of-the mill hotel. We were greeted professionally and courteously and every amenity was easy to obtain. There was some make-over construction, as they were converting to a Quality inn during that week, but the crews were tucked away and did not impede the guests. You get a nightly free fireworks show since the hotel is literally 2 mins from Disneyland.Huntington Beach is only 15 mins away.Great stay. Would definitely consider staying there again!
Good quality for the price and the staff is very friendly. Its about a 15-20 minute walk from Disneyland but its a straight shot. There is also public transportation that will take you to the park, the stop is right by the hotel. If all else fails theres always Uber. Parking is free which is a huge plus, breakfast is free as well and was good! The room was clean, for a few night stay for someone going to Disneyland I would definitely recommend it.
The room was spacious and clean. Very comfortable and everything worked with coffee in the room. Check in was easy. Concerned was with parking. The spaces were tight and Id be afraid they would run out of parking. Breakfast was a let down for a quality inn. The dining room was full with 10-15 people and they would bring out 4 danishes and leave. Not enough food. It was frustrating.
The room we rented had three queen beds and was very large with 2 refrigerators. The room was clean. The down side was there was only one air conditioner and one TV. The one side of the room that looks built on had plenty of room for another bed but was lacking furnishings. Should have a had another dresser as well for a party of 6. The breakfast was alright. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The parking was very small and difficult to maneuver your vehicle. We were able to buy our Disney tickets at the hotel which saved us time. Overall great stay except we left a couple of things behind!
We needed three beds, which this hotel had a room option with three queen size beds. THAT WAS PERFECT. Everything was very clean and the staff was excellent. While the hotel is located about 3/4 of a mile from the Disneyland entry, the ART bus comes by every 20 minutes. We thought we would like the extra exercise of walking, but in the evening, the bus was a life saver. The icing on the cake was watching the Disney fireworks every night from our hotel porch. WOW.
Our family of 6 enjoyed the budget accommodations that had easy access to Disneyland. We appreciated the housekeeping staffs little touch of folding our 10 year olds blanket and laying it neatly on his bed along with this stuffed animal. The breakfast had plenty of options from waffles to eggs, biscuits and gravy, cereal, yogurt and frozen pastries (yes, the pastries were served right out of the refrigerator). Overall a decent place to stay on a budget.
Service was amazing from my time to checking in, staying in the room, and checking out. Everyone who did their role really showed that they really cared. They didnt forget any details!! My stay was on Nov 29-30 and staff didnt pull any fake smiles, you can hear in their voice that they really cared for their guest! I highly recommend this hotel and will tell my friends, family, and anyone who needs a place to stay!!The Bed, Room hot tub, and Free Breakfast wasnt a disappointment but a delight!! Keep up the amazing service!!
We arrived a bit early @ 2 and while room wasnt ready , I was given a parking pass and a coupon for a local restaurant . The Hotel room itself was ok , clean, comfortable beds . Mini Fridge and Microwave were a great benefit to have. Only issue was parking, Very difficult after a long day at the parks. We left earlier than we wanted due to lack of parking and worried we would not get a spot . IF you are interested in watching , hearing and Feeling the Fireworks it is good for that but keep in mind they are really , really loud, but not the hotels fault and my Granddaughter loved it . Not sure I would consider this Motel within walking distance ,at least not after a full day at Disney, but it is pretty close. Breakfast was as advertised and area while small was clean and well stocked.Did not use Wifi , used own 4G .
I took my daughters family to Disneyland. We had the room with 3 queen beds, perfect for us. Disneyland was a short drive down the rode. The breakfast provided made it so less stressful for us considering we had 2 4yr olds. No getting everyone up to go out to eat. We were able to watch the fireworks from the 3rd floor balcony, way better then in the park. The room was spotless, the staff very friendly and took care of us. We enjoyed the pool one afternoon. Will definitely stay here again.
Pleasant hotel stay... Only stayed for one night and the room was well kept and clean. The surrounding area doesnt have much to offer, but Disneyland is about a 20 min walk which is a plus. I was happy they offered a pretty good breakfast option too. Parking is limited and they charge a little over 5 dollars per day ie you will be charged on the day of check-in AND day of check-out which I didnt expect.
The hotel is a good value, but that is it. The parking is terrible here. There are not enough spaces and the spaces that exist are too small for any but very small vehicles. I was asked to double park then woken early to move my car so someone else could leave. The staff didn’t really even try to help the situation or do anything to assuage my frustration. The room was adequate enough and clean. The building is dated, but efforts have been made to make it look somewhat up to date.Free breakfast was good but not great. The pool is so small that they really ought to just not have it at all.The value is decent, but it will likely be a ‘get-what-you-pay-for’ experience for you as it was for me.
We stayed here during spring break 2014 and was very happy with everything. The staff was very helpful. We had reservations at a different hotel and cancelled once we stay the room. I made a few calls and was happy to get a room at this Econo Lodge and it was so close to Disneyland. The staff explained to us about the bus going to the park and we didnt even move our car once during our stay. The room was very clean and never a issue during our stay. We will be coming back to this location again for sure, very happy.
The room itself was good. The bed wasn’t bad. The bathroom was alright. Barely any space around the tub to set anything without it falling in. There was no hook on the wall or door to hang your belongings. The parking was a whole nother situation. The parking lot was cramped. People with larger vehicles took up more than one spot. Had to back into a spot which I’m sure made it easier to exit the parking area, but still took some maneuvering.
Hotel was very nice, the surrounding area is a little to be desired. Only had one issue with the room itself which was quickly resolved when i called the front desk. The breakfast area is too small to accommodate the guests staying there. My suggestion would be to have outside seating to accommodate more people. I would say that the hotel is not anywhere near the front gate of Disneyland, and walking through the neighborhood at night is a little sketchy. I would use ART(Anaheim Resort Transportation) to get to the park rather than walking.
The hotel is in close proximity to Disney. It is on the edge of seedy part of town yet close to very nice restaurants. The small property itself is well manicured. Not enough parking and the continental breakfast is not edible(It is the same bread-based stuff that you see everywhere else.) With all that said the price is reasonable (basic), beds were good, room was clean, good tv and internet, cold refrigerator and good large sink area- and very easy to get to and from Disney and restaurants. Hotel staff helpful and friendly.
It is always difficult finding accommodations for a family of six on a budget. This hotel exceeded my expectations for the bargain price we paid. While you could probably walk to Disney from the hotel we chose the very short drive to the park. The breakfast area is what you would expect waffles and cereal but it was all kept very clean and fresh. Had no issues with parking or staff, all and all we would highly recommend it for the family travelers on a budget.
The hotel was very clean and friendly! Keep in mind it was a great value too. You are not going to get resort amenities, and posh luxury with this hotel. However, it is very clean, comfortable, safe, the free breakfast was very satisfying, the staff is friendly and the shuttle to and from Disney is just steps away. Id stay here again.
This hotel is clean, comfortable, and fairly well located. It was a great value for the cost, and I would definitely select it again. The small pool was wonderful after a long day at the amusement parks, and the first night when we arrived, we could see the amazing fireworks at Disneyland from our balcony.
QUALITY INN & SUITES ANAHEIM MAINGATE is a high value hotel at reasonable cost. Although the hotel provides shuttle to Disneyland, it was within walking distance to the park and Downtown Disney. The breakfast was wonderful, with hot and cold options fully stocked and tended. The room was clean and quiet. The hot shower was a blessing after walking 13 miles each day in Disneyland. Free parking and no hidden charges were a bonus.
The desk clerks were great! Very helpful on places to visit & how to get there. Alfred was always eager to help overall.. The room was very comfortable & spacious for 2 adults, 3 kids. We were able to see Disneylands fireworks PERFECTLY from our hotel door.. I will return & strongly recommend!
Hotel was clean, staff was polite and helpful. Easy to get to from Interstate 5. If you like to walk its not that far from Disneyland, but the is s shuttle bus to the park low in cost $24 for three of us for two days. Breakfast had a good selection even had biscuits and gravy. Will stay there again.
Overall, it was fine. Staff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Seemed clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good. Can be a bit noisy due to the fact that the hotel is built around the parking lot - the walls also seem a bit thin. Close enough to walk to Disneyland.
My SO & me only stayed 1 night. It was a nice big clean room. Had no problems other than the parking here is kind of a disaster. If you have a bigger vehicle like myself (nissan quest) you might have a harder time finding a spot. Some people took up 2 spots but not intentionally. Other than that nice quiet visit.
Overall we enjoyed or stay in Anaheim at your hotel! The rooms were nice and clean and the staff was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the pool and it was nice and clean too! The breakfast was delicious every day! The hotel was also close to The Disneyland Hotel where we performed. One night when I arrived late and there was no parking the night attendant gave up his parking space for me. The only problem we found was when we arrived after midnight one night. There was no place to park and we had to park our rental car on the street.
Quality Inn near Disneyland is good value for the money paid. Location is just outside Disney immediate area but there is a shuttle to take you if you prefer not to walk. 15-20 min walk. Good Room size, friendly staff and small pool. Breakfast was limited but just what we needed before heading out the park for the day.
My son and I were visiting Disneyland with his two children (my grandchildren). The beds were amazingly comfortable, the food was varied in choices and very tasty. The kids enjoyed the pool. The hotel was very conveniently located to Disneyland. Overall a very pleasant stay.
Great location to the theme park and the highway, price is reasonable for the season, spacious room, comfortable beds, free Disney fireworks seen from window. Only complain is the parking: there seems to be enough parking spaces but they are so narrow that full size vehicle can easily cross the line and make the neighbor one unusable, so if you return to hotel late at night then you may find that there are spaces available but no way to squeeze in your car unless its compact and you have the skills. Other than that, highly recommend this place.
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and saw the property. we were greeted by pleasant staff. our room was nice. the morning breakfast was ok, could have more choices. the breakfast room was very small and crowded. the lady handling the breakfast was efficient and very pleasant. one drawback. the a.r.t. shuttle to the park can be an adventure because of the wait and neighborhood. a hotel shuttle would be nice.
Would not recommend this hotel to anyone with children. The ART bus picks you up and drops you off in front of a liquor store. The laundry room is owned by a separate company and after putting my clothes in with soap, I asked the management why it wasnt working. Funky smell whenever we used the bathroom sink. Pool looks great in pictures but not in person and there was a drunk half naked guy passed out on the lawn the 1st night we were there. Breakfast was okay but the took they had it was too small. Definitely not worth price!
I was with my husband and 2 kids. We spent 1 day at Disneyland. We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. the room was cleaned and got fresh towels. The room is run down with mold growing in the ac unit and along the tube where it looks like water runs down. The reason we went through choice hotels is b/c they are usually clean and the beds are usually not to bad comfort wise. This room was definitely on the lower end of the choice hotels standards. None of us slept well because the beds were hard and lumpy. There is also a lack of parking. There is definitely not enough parking for each room. Overall, this was on OK room
Rooms were nice and clean. The staffs were friendly and did their job well. The location is also a plus taking into consideration the walking distance to Disneyland, Starbucks, and liquor stores. Overall we enjoyed our stay and couldnt beat the price with the location and services provided...Thanks to the management and the staffs that keeps this place operating well...

2022-05-28This hotel has clean renovated rooms with hardwood floors, crown molding and plenty of space. The pool is fairly small and really just meant to take a dip, but not really swim. I want to say the pool is maybe 12-15 in diameter. The staff was friendly, and the room was clean. Only reason I give it 4 stars is the pool is considerably small. Outside of that though, its a nice hotel.

2022-05-22As we arrived, Gabby met us with a friendly greeting, as a matter of fact, very personable. We checked into room #101, which is not a good idea, because its right next to the office with a lot of foot traffic. People slamming the push carts against the wall. In fact it was noisy at times a people yelling and whatever (were not used to that). Our room was great, spacious and we were taken back how great it was - we expected a dump. The only thing I did not like about the room was the television. There was no printed channel guide and you have to scroll through the channels. This would not have been this bad, but the television was like a Brontosaurus, you press the button on the remote and about ten seconds, the television would change channels. Eventually, I typed in 100 and at 102 was The Expendables. Good movie. While watching The Expendables 2, the TV stopped working.Since I work night and did not get much sleep, I went to bed early but woke up to some strange clicking noise, which stopped. I thought it was my great-grandsons phone. When it happened again, he wasnt using his phone and I realized the noise was coming from the clock radio, which was off. I unplugged it and mystery solved.All-in-all, our stay was great and I recommend it as a very nice place. Figure out a better television system would make it a fantastic room for the price.

2022-01-24Positive: The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfy and the staff was outstanding. Allowed us to park for the day even though we checked out. Very kind. Negative: The hotel said it was a block from Disneyland and was in fact 4 long blocks away. It took us 22 minutes to walk to the park. The place also had a resort fee and no amenities to justify it. We were not informed of this beforehand. No golf course, nothing

2022-02-01Positive: The staff were very nice and friendly. The room was bigger than I thought it would be and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom is a little outdated. Negative: We were told that the ART bus stopped right outside the hotel and it did not. The neighborhood is dark with limited street lights. Did not feel safe walking back from Disneyland with my daughter. The hotel is not a couple of blocks away from the park.

2022-05-27First off the hotels website and the priceline listing both say that there is an airport shuttle and other shuttle services available. So that was the clincher to booking this room. Two days prior to my trip I called to find out about the airport shuttle and was informed they dont have an airport shuttle and the other city shuttle services were canceled due to COVID-19, so I had to rent a last minute car. (Even the parent company Choice Hotels confirmed the website stated airport shuttle, but they would do nothing correct the situation because it was Quality Inns website, not Choices website). Next when I got there and checked in the hotel tried to charge me more blaming it on California taxes. I showed my contract so they finally backed it down to the stated charge on my contract. The room had a dirty toilet and a spider in the corner of the bathroom, I was also told because of a short staff the room would only get made up every third day. The website also stated the distance to Disneyland was .2 miles to the gate (walking distance the other reason I booked), in reality it was 1 mile. The breakfast was however good. Overall I would think twice before staying here again.

2022-03-11Positive: The staff was very friendly, breakfast options were good. Location to the Disneyland was good. Negative: The room had a slight cigarette smell to it and I know I asked for a non smoking room. There were also a few ants in the bathroom and the bed squeaked from little movement.

2022-01-28Positive: Super close to the park! Seven dollar Uber ride to Disney. Staff was all super friendly. The pool was freezing but it was January so that¿s fair. Had a great stay! Negative: Nothing to complain about

2022-03-01I was really worried after reading the reviews of the hotels in the area but this one was totally fine. Nothing fancy but a really clean room with microwave and mini fridge. Small breakfast included... fruit, waffles, toast, biscuits and gravy. We ubered to the parks and each ride was just over $7. Front desk was super nice when I checked in. This isnt a resort and you get what you pay for but its a totally fine place to stay for those who want a bed in the area and dont want to pay too much.

2022-06-16Positive: The best thing about this hotel was the price and the beds were comfortable staff was very helpful Negative: This hotel is not two blocks away from Disneyland, the parking spaces are way too small, and there were blood stains on the sheets on one of the beds they were small drops I had to go ask for more towels in the breakfast area is very small
