Nice park to take a walk, soccer park and baseball park. Tho baseball fields are ugly to play on. The back Parking is all dirt and everybody drives thru it like a freeway, dust everywhere. Dog park also. No bbq area.

Great park, great people, and lots of room to park RVs. Easy enough to get up there on the weekend with a Class A. DO NOT BOTHER on weekdays with a Class A. Super dusty and only one fountain worked, and no portopotty or restroom for humans. Would be great if they changed the gate so it doesnt try to gash your vehicle and if it had a public sanitary dump and water fill station I could give my guy a bath and use the restroom after our run without using up all the water in my RV. Thanks Santa Cruz county, lets take it to the next level!

Ive come here for many years. Go for a walk, watch a pick up soccer game, watch a baseball game, or take your dog to the dog park. Clean, plenty of free parking and lots of open space. There are occasional coyotes near the forest as well as a creek. The creek is shallow and a good place to allow your dog to play. The path to the creek is near the fenced Soquel Creek Water station. Dogs are required to be on leash outside of the dog park and sometimes the sheriff comes down, but that is pretty rare. The park is kid friendly though there are no play structures. Let them run or play sports. Its all fun.

I frequently run at the Polo Grounds and often enjoy seeing the variety of extracurricular activities going on at the multiple fields, the newly-recreated bike jumps, and the large dog park. There is also easy access to the river on the far side of the park, along with a couple of baseball fields. It never seems trashy here and there arent any potentially suspicious characters hanging around. Plenty of space and parking, so its really an overall great place.

Polo Grounds park has several different features: several soccer fields (where a lot of youth soccer games take place), tennis courts, a BMX track with crazy jumps, and a dog run. The main soccer field closest to the entrance has serious terrain problems, but the others are in good shape. The dog run is large and has two separate fenced-in areas, one for big dogs and one for small, each with dog-friendly water fountains and people-friendly chairs.

This park is very nice. Lots of friendly dogs. Theres a big dog park and a small dog one. My dogs prefer to walk laps around the outside of the dog park where theres a nice little trail.
