Kim was super helpful and answered all of my questions very quickly. She and her associates helped me through the process of buying my first house and explained every step of the way. Their app is easy to use. If you want, the app sends a notification to your phone anytime their is action needed on your home loan or if there are any updates. Great experience!
June was a phenomenal partner to work with, she was instrumental in the buying process of my house. Point Mortgage exceeded my expectations. It was my first time purchasing a home and I didn’t know where to begin. My loan officer Jasmine guided me every step of the way. Point Mortgage and Kimberly are no. 1 in my book. We met Kim through my realtor who turned me onto her for financing a home instead of renting, which was what we were going to do. I already had one bad experience with the last home and mortgage co. we dealt with 3 years ago, so I was a little leery as it was. In the meantime , our credit score went up to very good in the 3 years of renting. We had no idea that we could qualify as a 1st time home buyer after 3 years of selling last house, so I went to Kim about that. I mentioned that we would have to wait another 2 months before it would actually be 3 years of selling last house. Not a problem, she still found a way to get us qualified without nothing down on a different type of loan. Kim was always quick to answer any questions we had , and we had quite a bit of them. Even after we bought our home , she is always staying in touch with info on home prices in the neighborhood, neighbors, ages of neighbors, education of neighbors, etc,etc. The best part though was when we received this letter with an offer that , if we paid the mortgage on time the last 6 months , we can qualify for a refi at the low interest rates at the time. Of course I am sitting there thinking Right too good to be true. I couldnt read the small print on it either, so I did the next best thing. Sent it to Kim and asked if it was bull, and if she could read the small print.. It was 2 hours or so after that, that she texted back that she was going to run some numbers ..Long story short, Kim got us refinanced at lower rate , went from FHA to Conventional loan, all in just 6 months of buying the house. Kim is awesome. Very good at what she does, no bull, just helpful and very kind. All the staff is like that at Point. Tried to keep this short, but couldnt. I am approaching the final steps of my point mortgage . Fifteen days turned into 3 months.Their subcontractor who handles appraisals wont count permitted additional sqft. The adjustment at the very beginning captures 17% of the total value of the home. You never see that again. 59 % of all equity forward of that compounded monthly is their factor.They hold second position on title and second position on insurance. They control the ability of any future loans. The documents needed are almost equal to full doc. They pay all tax burdens on your personal IRS debt taking away the opportunity to safeguard your rights as a taxpayer. ...more to come. Review and ratings may show more Stars based on conclusions. Entered all of our information online to apply for a home loan. Didn’t hear anything back for a week then emailed them. Still didn’t here anything back from them after two weeks and called them. Now it’s three weeks and still nothing. Going with another mortgage guy. Don’t waste your time. If I could give it 0 stars I would; wasted our time and a credit check and gave all our personal information to a place that doesn’t even bother to call us back.
The people are super nice and the process went smooth until appraisal came super low and clearly a bad work, from there everything went almost to not close the transaction. It finally went throw and the company help me with some arrangement.

Obviously the only way you get any response from these people is to leave a negative review. They did try to do business (and I mean that in the loosest terms) with me in recent months. Fortunately I did research and trusted my gut. If you look at the 5 star reviews of this place almost all of the reviews were done by people who only reviewed this place and nothing else. My opinion, stay away from this company. But hey, its your money.
