Pickwick Bowl is one of many entertainment offerings this place has to offer. This place is just okay. It has everything you need to go bowling, but the service is a bit inconsistent. I should have taken a picture of the price list, but we were in such a rush, I had forgot to snap a pic. We called the front desk and we were quoted different prices from what was actually charged once we arrived. Either way, I would say it was reasonably priced for what you get. For $10 we were given 1 hour of bowling and shoes were included. It was also cosmic bowling night, so it was pretty neat. It’s a very retro building, and everything in there felt very old. Would make for a cool 80s night. They also have a little bar with fun saloon doors.Overall I would recommend this spot if you’re in the area, looking for something fun to do. Especially when the bowling alley at round 1 is too crowded, this is a great backup plan!

A bit dated, but friendly staff, a game room, cosmic bowling, maybe one day a DJ would be a fun addition.

Website is NOT CORRECT. Theres no open bowling on Wednesdays, only league. You cant call them on a Monday or Tuesday to learn this, no messaging option either. The person on the phone wasnt interested in correcting their website.

The best part about this place is that although many adults come here, it is still kid friendly. My 3 year old had a blast at the arcade. As for bowling, you can rent a dragon looking hill for $5 an hour which allows the little ones to have fun too. I dont normally bring her, but if I have to do it then I choose this place because she can totally enjoy it. The snacks are also pretty good, like the $3 pizza and the slushies. If I could give this place a higher rating I would. It is just one of those places you fall in love with and it never disappoints. The staff is a plus too ❤

Thanks to the pro shop operator for screwing up my thumb hole. Now I have to put up with blisters and gashes every league week. The rest of the place is just as rundown of an experience. My first time around I thought it could be worse, and boy was I right. This time the lanes were oily to the point where it was straight up gross. My balls felt so slick to the point where I went through an entire rosin sack. My towel looked like a mechanics towel. The ball return tunnels seemed to be full of grease which explains why my ball always came back with black spots all over it and why my towel ended up all soiled. Wont EVER be coming back here to bowl under such deplorable lane and equipment conditons.

NNNOOOOOIIIIICCCCEEEE LANES (24, to be exact 😀)!!!!*Clean (facility👍), *Friendly faces (FRONT staff - restaurant cashier in the back, is always somebody rude or stupid😮), with a smile (ALWAYS), *Fun family environment 🤔(EXCEPT ,after 5p (for sure:fri&sat), when the lanes are lit up& so are the cholos, gang affiliates &stoner riff raff show up).Changes nothing for me&family, though. LOVE this place.Stay tuned, for our review of the Ice Skating Facility portion of the property. Coming, end of year!!

Not Safe & Rundown! Exposed electrical wires and a bathroom that looks and smells like a murder scene. No thank you! The owners should take care of this place. What a shame.

My mother worked at the bowling alley from the time it opened till she retired Until she retired at 70. Her name was Maxine McDonald. She actually started working Pickwicke pool in 1946 when we pulled a trailer from the light Wisconsin and lived in the first spot number one until 1952. (I was 4 years old.) During that time my father worked in the hamburger stand on weekends and mother was in the front as a cashier. She was a head cashier until the pool closed. At the age of 13 I worked in the hamburger stand and the ice cream Stand summers until I graduated from high school. Summer only. At this time I was making $.50 an hour. I was allowed to spend half of what I made for school clothes and the other half I saved. I had the time of my life there, imagine all the grass area to play in and swim any time the thee pool was open. I took Swimming lessons and I could swim over. There was a big wooden structure in the center with a high dive board and a low one. I could go on for ever.
