Clean, good staff - great coffee. Too loud outside with street traffic to enjoy a conversation.

Very well maintained store. Service is always friendly and quick. Generally store is busy. Most of the time inside seating is occupied. There are 4-5 tables available outside. Generally you can find place outside to sit. I frequently visit this place. Consistently receive a great service.
A very busy spot with plenty of mobile orders coming in which it seemed was throwing the staff off. The manager seemed on top of things as she talked to people effected in person with complimentary drink coupon. Saw plenty of mistakes on drinks but staff was professional about it. Store has seating in and few outside. Store was clean and staff was very pleasant while taking the order.
My neighborhood Coffee Shop. If you want a real strong cup of good coffee, this is your place. I tend to like the Hot Chocolate that they offer here. Friendly and helpful Baristas work here. A nice decour inside and tables outside to enjoy your drinks. This is the place for your morning coffee or tea. 😀
I rate them highly due to the delightful staff. The SJPD likes Peets. You can find a half dozen units there most every afternoon. I have always received excellent service and delicious drinks from these folks.
I like coming to Peets, so its great they have this one so close to my place. The coffee is good here and the workers are friendly and happy. It makes it a good experience. The parking is a hassle, though. I would stop more often if it was easier to get in and out of here!
Staff was not rude but not friendly, which was fine with me. But what I couldnt stand was their restroom. It was disgusting. Floor was dirty, toilet paper dispenser was open, hand paper was out. Pieces of toilet paper were scattered on the floor, the mess previous user made was left (its not completely their fault). Restrooms shows how the staff take their business, I think.
Didnt have to wait forever for a cup of decaffeinated coffee.
I love this Peets. The staff are always very friendly, courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable about their products. Their coffee and espresso are consistently excellent, and management is always good about correcting any mistakes and guiding their team. I plan on being a loyal Peetnik for a long time at this location!
Like easy parking and good amount of outdoor seating. Staff is quick but certainly friendly. A good place to go to get your coffee and help set your day right with nice people.
As far as Im concerned, Peets creates coffee the same way the Silicon Valley creates technology - with heart, soul and a lot of hard work. Their beans and blends are fantastic (try Major Dickasons or Ethiopian Fancy) and they keep it real at their cafes. They are friendly, helpful and they know their coffee and tea. And yes, you can even put your own cream and sugar in your own coffee, to your liking (unlike at some other higher-end coffee shops. Please!). I love Peets. Its a Bay Area original and I am a fan. 20 years strong!

I ordered with the app, it was very painless to order exactly what I wanted. As soon as I walked in, my drink was ready, I grabbed it and walked out. Super quick and easy. And the drink was perfect, just the way I like it!

Staff is obnoxiously loud. Impossible to get any work done, even with noise canceling headphones. Also chilly cold.
Splendid fresh cold brew, friendly folks; fresh roasted beans; a smaller place, great to meet, sip, & go—the wifi is light to bare which makes sense for the size of the place. Nice indoor & outdoor seating.
Of all the Peets, this one is my favorite. The staff is so nice. Some of the younger kids are a little lacking in work ethic, but the managers more than make up for it. Its kinda like visiting a neighbor when you go here.
My favorite Peets hands down, the best staff of any Peets. Its a great place to come hang out or for a quick cup of coffee. But i cant rave about the staff enough they are phenomenal and great!
I usually look for the more local coffee shops but this location is great. Staff is friendly and dont mind when I ask how fresh the coffee is. Coffee is good, too, the changes regularly which is nice.
Its hit and miss at this Peets. Some of the staff make the best cappuccinos, some make the really bad ones. I think with some training it can be amazing every time! They are really good about remaking the drink if it is a miss day.

The baristas dont know anything about tea. They gave me the wrong order, and when I came back there was no apology or anything. This is a one for poor customer service and lack of knowledge concerning the employees. I wont be coming back to this location.

2021-12-04This Peet’s is located right in the Lucky’s shopping center. There is lots of parking. Staff is always nice and courteous. I’m not always good as using the app and staff does go out of their way to show me how to use it. Check out my photo of the delicious Mocha Frappe! It’s so good. It tastes like desert in a cup.

2019-12-27Inside is fairly clean, busy with wall to wall people. I ordered a double decaf expresso in a tall cup and added 1/2&1/2 it has a sweet bitter bold creamy taste that I expect out of my expresso but has some notes that seemed off for my palate. Having had plenty of Peets in my day. I will not reorder the decaf expresso at this location again. Bottom line was my coffee good? (No) why? Actually its not because of the coffee Believe it or not, its because I walked into the restroom and it was filthy the walls and door are filthy as though they havent been cleaned in weeks or months, so it makes me concerned about the hygiene of the baristas.

2021-08-14Ive had nothing but bad luck with Peets, which is sad because I like their actual coffee better than most places. Unfortunately at both locations Ive tried in San Jose they cant make a cappuccino to save their lives. The drink I got today seemed to be just coffee with milk and foam. When the cup is full you know there is something wrong, but I just took it and left without complaining. Last time they filled the whole cup with cream and dropped a couple shots in. It was sickening and actually went back to complain. The guy who remade it made a perfect cappuccino but it seems most of the staff at both locations doesnt know how to make the different drinks they serve.
