Great place, good to find music and setting. Overpriced food, suffers from low menu diversity. All the beers are white IPAs. Good BBQ, could use expanded menu options. Wish the menu was a little more varied in price too. Good cocktails, needs more distinctive drinks though. Nothing like 45 for a small medium side of beef.
Great food. Brunch was delicious lots of vegan, vegetarian and regular options. All of which taste great. Staff are very friendly, patient and helpful. Definitely will be back to try more food. The zucchini bread french toast is wonderful, it is crispy outside and soft inside. Great flavors.
Our first time here - nice laid back atmosphere at the bar. Food was great! We were there during happy hour - ordered Brussels sprouts and the shrimp ceviche - both excellent. Drinks were awesome..the bartender made it even better! Really sweet and down to earth - thanks Shay! Hope to see you again soon.
Pedalers Fork is highly recommended, the food was absolutely exquisite for brunch and the waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful. I have no complaints about this place, dont think they can miss on any menu item, I will be back. The setting is very chill and they even have a yoga studio upstairs as well as cycling merchandise for sale.
We went here Christmas Eve and will never return. It was fairly busy and we waited in line and ordered at the cashier. When we told the cashier we would be eating in, she asked for our private medical information, namely our vaccine status. When we declined to provide such information she said we could not eat there. It was interesting that we were the only mixed race family there and the only ones asked for vaccine status. We offered to sit outside. The cashier rudely said we would not and falsely claimed it was LA City ordinance. It is not. We took our subpar food to go. The place discriminates on race and wants private medical information. I recommend everyone avoid this establishment at all cost. The owner responded say that they require proof of vaccination status for dine in customers. Perhaps they should try being honest with guests and says that if they want to sit outside, they cannot, not because of LA Country ordinance but because of their own policy. Perhaps management could explain why the mixed race family was the only one asked for a vaccination card. Finally Perhaps they should not say they create a welcoming atmosphere in every way and more accurately say we welcome those who get a vaccination otherwise youll be treated like a second class citizen who cant even sit on our patio. The owner sounds like a real clown pretending to be virtuous while treating those with natural immunity and those who cant get a vaccine for medical reasons like second class citizens. This faulty rationale doesnt help make anyone safe is certainly isnt a welcoming environment.
The food was exquisite. The drinks were on point. Excellent service. The manager was going around greeting everyone & ensuring all was well. The Ambiance is delightful. Valet parking is available. Only negative is the restrooms needs to be kept up better. The crowed that comes here is delightful.
Good food, good drinks, nice atmosphere. The craft beer, but in, tequila, and other hard to find items are located at this place. The frozen bar top for your beer to stay cold is a nice touch. There really isnt a bad place to sit but when its warm out, the patio outside by the stream is the place to be. .
Frequent traveler, this place is right by the Saturday Farmer’s Market. There’s parking near by for a few dollars but it is really difficult to enter and exit. The menu consists of the usual California fare: omelette with Brie, salads with Brie and Avocado toast. The restaurant is air conditioned. There’s usually a wait so put you name down with the hostesses before you shop. The servers are friendly but the food takes its time but is worth it.
Celebrated a wonderful night with my family at the Pedalers Fork last night. With the help from Becca Lazarus, the restaurant manager, who assisted us from beginning to end; Chef Dan who responded favorably to all of our requests, and made us a most tasty, beautiful and festive dinner; and Alex our friendly and dedicated, very attentive and always smiling server of the night; we had the most wonderful evening. There were 19 of us, 3 generations with different palates and likes, not an easy party to please. The private room upstairs w its extended balcony allowed us to be us, to mingle, to laugh, to eat, to enjoy, and we did A LOT - laugh, eat and enjoy:) The food was awesome!! we had appetizers, salads, main entrees and dessert, all were excellent; The Calamari, Brussels Sprouts and Fillet Mignon were favorites. The restaurant atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent. So in short - team Pedaler made our night very wonderful, we will most definitely be back, and highly recommend this restaurant to all patrons.
What a fab place. It has a great energy from the moment you walk in and great service. We sat outside which was wonderful and the coffee was excellent, perfectly frothy. There were lots of options for vegans and raw eating which I loved. We only went for coffee and a sweet but had a lovely time. The photo is of the creamy raw, vegan cheescake. Prices were a little high, but what you would expect.
Great shop welcoming cyclists and all those wanting an escape and some wifi! My latte and brown sugar apple tart were quite good, albeit not the best latte Ive had in LA but it doesnt matter--this place is more about what is around you. If youre an avid cyclist and want to go to a place with free bike locking, a full service bike mechanic, great food, and tour riders walking about than come here (yes, actual tour riders). Prices are on the high side.
Love how this place is so pet friendly. Id like to recommend this restaurant adding a small dog menu to their existing menu. The valley needs a place like this for all the pet owners. I did order a hamburger patty for my pup and he LOVED it. The food here is amazing and from what my friends say, the coffee is great as well.
Really hoping they open for dinner again soon! The food is wonderful— really love the healthy options for kids (not the usual junk food kids meals.) The atmosphere & architecture are beautiful — eating outside under the trees. The beer selection is great, the coffee bar is tasty and you can even get your bike tuned up while you eat. This place is a gem.
Pedalers Fork has a lot going for it....great location, nice ambience, and a rustic setting. But for a $24 sandwich (I had the briskett) you would expect much better quality. And the mac and cheese was nothing special... Just a lot of melted cheese on shell pasta. I give this three stars only because our waitress couldnt have been more friendly and cheerful.
We got Fork’d!At the 11am opening it took 10 minutes to get a table and 10 minutes to order. Food quality was ok, 2 waiters for 6 tables was no excuse for another 10 minute wait for kids to get water at the table. After our meal, took another 15 minutes to get the check.. off day or just didn’t care? Doesn’t matter, we will be pedaling to another spot next time. 10 SPEED COFFEE WAS GREAT!!! ☕️
Ive been a customer of the bike shop since they began hosting donut rides back in 2016! The crew lead us on a 20+ mile mixed terrain ride up and over the Santa Monica Mountains down to the shop for coffee and donuts. If you ever get a chance to go on one of their Sunday rides, take the opportunity to join them since these guys know their local trails like the back of their hands! Sean and Derek (bike shop bosses) run the shop, and gosh darn it, theyre dang good at their jobs! If you have any questions regarding all things MTB, Gravel or Road these are your folks! Theyre both serious, avid cyclists, and you can tell that they love what they do.I work with the PF Bike Shop on a B2B level and am so stoked to be under their wing. The communication I receive from both Sean and Derek takes the cake. Service, knowledge and pure skill! This quaint shop has everything you need to keep the ride going and going and going. Cheers to being a rad bunch! Hopefully, I can make it out to a Sunday Gravel Ride soon enough!
I love the atmosphere here and it was pretty good. Somehow it’s missing that special touch I can not pinpoint. Food was tasty but something tasted very bitter on my egg sandwich. Fries were good but seem a little saturated. Service was friendly but not very warm. Overall a nice experience but was expecting something really special in such a beautiful ambiance and crafted menu.
I admit I had high expectations for this restaurant as a biker, and it definitely surpassed those expectations. I got the KOM burger and I wasnt disappointed. It was rich and flavorful and filled me right up. I wouldnt recommend eating it right before a race though! The service was good, and the bike shop was very cool. I recommend this spot for any bikers who want a good burger with friends.
Great service, awesome food. I went for lunch and had the grass fed burger. It was very good. You can order a half size of any of the salads, even though thats not on the menu.Great beer options. Full coffee menu, it looks like they even roast their own beans. Bicycle service and shop too! Very nice atmosphere with tall ceilings and bicycle decorations throughout.
The food was delicious and the menu varied. We had a finicky gluten free vegetarian in our group and she was very pleased. Loved the durian dish. My friends liked the cashew butter dessert (though felt it was too rich. They had stomach aches later). The service was attentive and accommodating. I enjoyed the esthetic of the place too.
Charming neighborhood hangout and a lovely setting. Over hanging a creek bed outback the patios particularly lovely. Seems to be vibrant authentic human place in a Land of many malls and chains. For some reason the flavor of the coffee is not to my liking its often bitter and rather pricey. I said the baked goods Ive sampled have been undistinguished. Still a lot of atmosphere and a terrific looking establishment
My former-bicycle-racer boyfriend and I enjoyed the theme and decorations here, and its located in a beautiful spot. Brunch and coffee were delicious with a farmers market right outside the door for us to browse when we finished. Service was fast and friendly but the food took a bit to come out. The restaurant wasnt busy at all for Saturday brunch. We will be back.
We were pleasantly surprised by how large, lively and delicious this place was for dinner tonight. There was a live band that wasn’t too loud and the server was perfect! Menu was great and the food was very good, if a bit rich and the portions huge. The place was packed for a Thursday and it was a very fun place to have dinner with my family. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to others.
Over price for the food quality .They do definitely have a nice ambien environment, but not much more.We went on a Sunday , me my wife and are lovely three kids.Me and the kids order a burger, we all got the Same SIZE Burger, either do mind cost double , $10 for kids, $19 for adults , for the Exact same thing, didnt taste that great as well, completed not happy with that. For the kids drinks are separately, (add $3 for each). My wife got a caesar salad, with a sprinkling of Solomon, $28 - For a okay/basic Salad. The waitress hardly showed up, will needed constantly to get up my chair and look for her.I assume the prices probably reflected the area, not the quality of the food and the size of it.There is better restaurant in that area that you pay the same and get better size food and quality. In general I would Not recommended, and will not visit there again.
Delicious coffee, very nice vibe and the staff were super friendly. There is a small but well stocked bike shop and a really cool bike rack where you can lock you bike while you visit. Bike shop guy could not have been more helpful. If you ride a road bike in LA, you need to visit here.
This is one of the best places in the entire United States. A restaurant, bar, coffee shop with in house roaster and small bicycle shop attached as well. A real hub of the cycling community, known across the pro racing community. The staff is top class, friendly and well skilled. The menu is excellent with good options for vegetarians and vegans. The bar has an extensive selection of whiskeys, and very good house created cocktails, and a wide selection of beers. The coffee is excellent. I cant say enough good things about this establishment. A real gem.
This restaurant is located in the best part of calabasas. The ambiance is amazing. We got a table outside and the view was beautiful. I ordered the Pedalers cesar salad with added avocado and my partner got the Hot chicken sandwich that came with a side of fries, apple cider slaw, and a special buttermilk dressing on the side. The overall quality of food was good but not great. The server kept running away. I think the more nicer and expensive the restaurant gets the service gets worst. The only thing that bothers me the most when i dine in is1. Servers run away from you and wont let you finish what you want to say about your order like someone is chasing them.2.You dont see them until the food comes out.And this is what we experienced tonight.Thank you
Coffee shop, bike shop and restaurant all in one. I love this place! Great weekend brunch menu, great lunch menu. Healthy delicious food. Happy Hour starts at 4pm. Service is always good! Bartenders can pour. I like to bring my computer here and do work with their yum coffee.
Super cool and funky place! I came here for brunch and got a breakfast burrito with potatoes on the side--both were so tantalizing! Im normally not a huge fan of potatoes, but I couldnt stop eating them. Also, the orange juice is so fresh. Highly recommend this unique and fun place!
This review is mainly for the service. We came for brunch today and were told that there was a 30 minute wait. A look around reveals that there are numerous tables open. The hostess assures is that they are reserved even though the entire time we are there (about 2 hours including wait and eating) they remained empty. What is the deal? Is making people wait suppose to make us think that this place is more desirable? The hostesses and waitress ranged from indifferent to mildly hostile with every exchange. The food was good and decore very pretty. It may be worth it if you reserve a spot.
If you’ve never been here, it’s worth going just for the cool ambiance. You’ll probably go back once you go once though, because the food is great. Definitely a perfect lunch spot as the natural light is really great during the day. We got salads and chicken and both were really good
From the first moment you enter that place the personel give you a pleasant feeling. Very warm crew, it is a kind restaurant to hang out with your friends or with your date. very good cooking, skillful chief cook and stuff, good price and generous service. Highly recommended.
Love the place inside, has a super relaxing atmosphere, though a little noisy at times due to the high ceilings. The food wasnt great sadly, though Im putting that down to how late we were for lunch and the kitchen maybe closing down getting ready for the dinner rush?
Came away with mixed feelings about this place. Firstly, Id like to say that the grilled vegetable plate, which is vegan, was one of the most delicious things Id ever put in my mouth. And Ive got extremely high standards of plant-based dishes. I eat a lot, at a lot of places. Ive been vegan for over 16 years and I whip up some great dishes in my own kitchen. I get very irritated at being presented with overpriced dishes of food that my 11 year old brother could have thrown together. This though, more than pleasantly surprised me and I would definitely eat the same thing again. It was different, creative, exciting and filling. My man, on the other hand, did not enjoy his steak. And got sweet potato fries instead of the whipped mashed potatoes he asked for. And being a former server, he never likes to complain or send things back. It was quiet, not at all busy and quite pricey, so really, it should have been correct in the first place, in my opinion. We were so hungry by that point, he didnt want to wait even longer for an order to be corrected. The atmosphere was nice. The music was at a good volume. It was clean. However, a server was doused in perfume and the bartender who seated us gave us the dinner menu, which according to our server, we couldnt order from because it wasnt 5pm yet (after wed chosen what we wanted from it). Also, when I made the reservation for 4.30pm, I wasnt told over the phone that we could only choose from the Happy Hour menu. Our server was good enough to recognize the hiccup though and check that the kitchen would cook something from the dinner menu for us, which they did.I dont eat meat, so I cant recommend those dishes. But if youre a vegan or just love veggies, try this place out. Its fresh, unprocessed, quality stuff. And different. My amber ale was pretty great, too!(THIS REVIEW WAS COPIED FROM MY YELP REVIEW)

2022-06-10Highly recommend. Will definitely come again. Amazing food, huge portions. They charge a $5 split fee, worth it. Located close to the street but its set up in such a way that you can sit outside and feel you are away from it all. Pretty and serene. Love that the menu is limited but it covers everything. The food is off the hook!!! When you enter, you go to the bar, order and pay for your food and they bring it out to you.

2021-10-2010Speed Egg sandwich with turkey bacon was 💥💥💥💥💥. Stop by in the AM when the menu is only a few items. The coffee is divine, excellent servuce and baristas. Go after 11am for a full breakfast experience. 8am-11am is where its at for us. Plan to spend around $30 for breakfast, coffee and tip. Worth every single penny. Go with your favorite people. Its too perfect to ruin with bad vibes. And bring your bike if you need a fixin. Theres an awesome bike shop attached, open 8am-4pm. ❤

2021-09-23Pedalers Fork is a very unique restaurant fused with a bicycle shop. I rated it only 3 stars because there was an extremely long wait to order, for food, and to get the check. If you are in a rush, I would chose somewhere else. The food was good, and I was surprised by the johnny cakes - they tasted good but were a lot more dense than I had imagined for something like a pancake. The blueberry-ginger compote was delicious on them.

2022-07-04As usual, the place was packed, it was a hot day, but we were able to find a nice spot at the end of the bar, a place we never sat at before...Hot as it was outside, it was cool & comfortable inside....I still had to indulge in one of THE BEST and most LUXURIOUS lattes on the planet....paired with mile high avocado toast! Worth every penny! My friend had the same thing and we were two very happy little ladies at lunch. As usual, the service is friendly with a team work approach where different staff pass by to collect a plate or see if we need anything. Just a lovely atmosphere! Thank you for another superb dining experience, Peddlers Fork!

2021-08-30This is our go to place for lunch when we drive from San Diego to Santa Barbara. Lovely patio above a gently flowing creek. Jen, the bartender/server is wonderful. We had a nice visit with her! Timing wasnt good on the return drive so we couldnt stop in again. While we were eating 4 ducks recognized us as softies who would feed them, which we did. Very cute. I only took pics of the ducks, not the patio or food. Sorry, but it is all great. A lovely place to enjoy. Thanks Jen 😊 🙏
