They have saclper prices, $1150,+Tax for a 3070 on top of buying another 2 items in order to buy a 3070. Totaling $1400+ if you want a 3070. You can buy it from a local scalper for less. $550+ for a 1660 super , Not Worth It. $800 for last generation 2060. Please boycott this place! No one should support this scalping store! Very rude and unprofessional to older people who dont know about technology. * Also the distributor only makes you buy it with one other item. A $500 extra charge does not justify of you buying a $100 motherboard and gpu. On top of forcing your customers to buy items they dont need. Plus you make the money back because you force your customers to pay more for other items just as power supply ram. Storage and cases. ONLY REASON YOU SHOULD GO HERE IS IF YOU CANT WAIT 2 DAYS EVERYTHING ELSE IS LOWER COST ONLINE OR AT OTHER COMPUTER STORES IN SELMA OR VISALIA.
I have been in here twice to ask questions 2 diffrent employees helped me today was Dallas if I remember correctly. Man he was so nice and helped me with every question. Getting ready to build my PC and Ill be buying everything from them. Yes it cost a bit more but the customer service and their help is more than worth it. Good luck trying to get that kind of help from Amazon. Theyre so knowledgeable and willing to help. 10/10.
I picked up my new custom computer from PC Station yesterday and I have to say Im extremely pleased. I was able to get all of my questions answered, I told them what I wanted and they built it (unlike Dell, which takes forever and they charge more). It was ready pretty quickly, the components are solid, and I feel confident that the staff will be there to make it easy when I have questions or need an upgrade, unlike Dell. Great experience!
The good old days of quality customer service! You just dont get that walking into The Big Blue Busy Buy store.I walked in today and was immediately greeted by a very busy technician who was working on several machines. He said he would be with me in a second, and I said, no problem.Within a minute he addressed my concerns and had a solution. The store doesnt have a bunch of flair and the craziness of a big box... Its just straight and to the point.Need a fast computer, done!Need your computer to run faster, done!Need parts to build your own, done!
Great, friendly, helpful staff. This is why the other computer repair store (Nerds on Call) I went to got only one star (the only one star rating I ever gave). I am not discussing the business model, only the quality of the people hired by the business. Congratulations, and please dont change.
Came here to buy a new PC case. Found that the customer service was EXCELLENT and the employees very knowledgeable. They even gave me a little bit of thermal paste on the house so I could reseat my heat sink! I would absolutely shop here again, and would recommend others support them as well!
Now customer service wise they are great, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, willing to talk with you not just as a customer but as a person. Which, in a field that is as quickly evolving as PCs is invaluable. However, as much as I want to support small businesses their prices are just so high compared to every other possible option that I cant recommend them. I mean a component that is $25 other places they have listed for $65. Thats an insane mark up and just not a place Id do business.EDIT: To answer the question its the G Skill Aegis 8 GB stick. On your site and in store its been listed at $65 while on Newegg (fulfilled by them, not a 3rd party retailer) its been listed at $25 for months.
Very helpful!!!! Nice young man working there named Nick took the time to answer all my questions and show me any product I was interested in from price to function and compatibility I must have spent a good hour there trying to decide what I needed for my build he was very helpful!!! Great place to shop for your pc needs I will continue to shop there ...
Not very helpful! These guys jack up the prices when there are shortages employees are very short not helpful this was just my experience maybe someone else would have a better one wont be returning recommend Best buy and I also bought a faulty hard drive from this place and they refused to replace as I said Best buy!!
I wouldnt go to this place. I originally had brought my laptop in for a keyboard replacement. I supplied the replacement keyboard, directly from the manufacturer. They said that they keyboard isnt getting enough power from the motherboard in the laptop yet before I took in the laptop, it was working perfectly, just that two important keys were not working. They said the replacement MOTHERBOARD would be $750 bucks which is correct for the price of the motherboard, and they said it would be powerful than the one i have in it, except the one I had in it was a GTX 1070, according to them, it was a 1060. This was incorrect, literally paying for the same motherboard to be put in. When I got my computer back, they said that SOMEHOW the battery in the laptop wasnt receiving a charge, yet BEFORE I took it in it was able to get up to a full charge meaning the repair guy who screwed up my computer killed the battery. So once I got my laptop back, they said the battery is dead and it would be a $135 dollar charge. I gave them my computer to repair at the beginning of August, and I didnt get it back until August 30th because the guy doing the repair COULDNT FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM AND HAD TO WORK WITH ANOTHER REPAIR SHOP TO FIX IT. On top of that, I called in one day to check on the status on my laptop, and the nice woman who answered said they were busy and that they would call me back before they closed at 7. I NEVER GOT THAT CALL BACK. So I went in the day after confronting what seemed to be the store owner and said she shouldnt have done that and I couldnt agree more. Now a month after getting my laptop back, the replacement keyboard is starting to go out AND the so called replacement motherboard is outputting less power than it should be. This is after $100 dollars for the keyboard and service fee on top of $750 dollar motherboard replacement and a months wait. Im thinking about going back in and having them fix my issue again, no service fee with a refund for my motherboard because the service I got compared to the rest of the google reviews is ridiculous.
I have built a couple PCs a long time ago, 15 years or more. I am not hardcore and have simply lost touch. I didnt want to take the time to learn the new motherboards and components, Im old now and just dont have time. I explained what I was looking for and what was frustrating about my current PC. Went in 3-4 times asking questions and saving for my build, every time they were polite and informative. I have had my tower for about two weeks now and they knocked it out of the park. Plays C&C Generals like you wouldnt believe. I have never had a computer that some applications wouldnt lag, most load instantly and the computer never slows down. If you want a computer that works well and dont want to fall for the scams of pre-builts, this place is it!!!!
This store dates back nearly 20 years to its beginnings as PC Club, the go-to resource for computer geeks and PC buffs, with locations across the state. Eventually taken over and owned by its employees, it has remained true to its roots as an unbiased, no-nonsense outlet for all computer parts and supplies, as well as useful real-world information on computer technology, building, networking, etc. It is a welcome oasis and escape from the netherworld of Aptiva, Presario, Aspire, Optiplex, Vaio, Latitude, Techra, etc., which all mean the same thing: absolutely nothing because ALL OEM is junk. Build your own, finding everything you want and more at PC Station.
I came to this store looking for a PC Case and Possibly a CPU (2700x) to finish up my First Gaming PC Build. Upon entering the store it seemed pretty basic but I didn’t mind. The person who was helping me out really didnt seem like she/he knew what they were selling but, again, I didn’t really mind since I knew what I was coming for. All the products that I wanted were in store BUT I asked if they did Price Match just like how Best Buy does and they RUDELY told me they didn’t and said “No, it costs 55$ extra to keep the lights on”. The processor I wanted cost 245$ on Amazon and they were selling it for 300$. Very bad experience at this place. I was also planning to drop around 400$ on this store but the Rude Vibe of one of the people really changed my mjnd. If you want something right now and don’t want to wait for shipping then just go to Best Buy. If they have the parts and it’s cheaper online then they’ll price match for you. Just don’t come to this place it’s over priced and has very rude customer service.
I brought in a printer/scanner/fax with a sheet feeder issue. It worked fine other than the sheet feeder. What I got back was a printer that would not turn on (it gave an error code). When I took it back to them they said they couldnt fix it. When I complained they offered to return half of the up-front diagnosis fee. I refused, but wont be doing business with them again. I understand if they cant fix it. But they literally made it useless. They did not deny this. But they took no responsibility for making the printer useless.
Bought all my parts here a couple years ago to build my first gaming desktop, Chris was very informative and considerate when helping me figure out decent parts on a budget! Definitely recommend this place for any first-timers considering building their own desktop. Mine still works like a charm!
As an old duffer kinda a point & shoot computer user I was very happy with the staff help today. Panicked today when a years data just disappeared from my Excel program. I took my computer there and after some searching they were able to find everything. Persistence and knowledge saved the day. Great customer service.
The computer store has the electronics, cables, parts I needed when BestBuy fell short.Computer, Printer, cable parts and accessories cost a lot less at this store.I called, a professional lady answered the phone. She was polite, listened to my needs, checked on the parts/Cables I needed: USB3 A to B connection.Drove from BestBuy less than 1 mile away. Picked up the part - $17 dollars less than BestBuy.Going back again.
This is a great store with very knowledgeable people and friendly to. All of the systems come with components that are well know in the computer Industry and backed with warranties. The guys at PC Station make gaming, workstations computers as well as servers. Also I have found that the pricing is the same as you would find anywhere online.
Had to see them install a 3.0 port in my pc send 192.00 and they put 2.0 not 3.0 and then called back just for them to tell me that my motherboad dose not support 3.0 and they could have call me to tell me this before they put the 2.0 ports in Now they say its going to be like 600.00 for a new one and just like buying a new pc wow i am out the money and did not get the help I needed. Now I have to look for another place to get my pc fixed because they are not up front on things and honest with things
Why are they selling the Asus G752VY-RH71 for 379.00 above manufacturers list price. Other retailers like GenTech PC offer the same machine for 1999.00..... the correct priceand their banner ad says order on line and pick up at store for no additional cost. Well gee thanks for not charging me extra for going to your store to pick things up.lol
Very limited selection, uncompetitive prices, very limited knowledge within staff, I almost feel bad because one person in there seemed friendly and almost looked ashamed when I asked him if a specific mid ATX case that retails for between 25 - to 36 bux on Amazon was really being sold for 75 bux... but, if you have limited IT knowledge, or are looking for antiquated peripherals... I guess this would be the place, also there is a computer store across and down the street.... also.... no mid to upper tier equipment... but they do repair if you are willing to downgrade... basically if you are in the cenval area... start watching youtube and get an amazon prime account if you want to build or upgrade your gaming rig.
I know you want to support local businesses--I do too. But this place is objectively bad. High prices, bad selection, staff dont know what theyre talking about, and bad customer service. Save yourself the headache and go across the street to Best Buy. One star because there is no zero rating.
My computer was making strange fan sounds, like it was working harder then normal. I took the fans into P.C. Station and they gave me some good advice cleaned up the section put some magic paste on one of them and now the computer is running smooth and Quiet. Thanks PC Station.FranCisco Vargas

2021-04-21My friend brought her hard drive here, because it was having issues, on April 13 and was told it would take 3 days. Finally on April 19 they called to say they couldnt fix her hard drive or back it up. She decided to purchase a new drive and they informed her they needed to install updates. Today, April 20, at 6:20 pm they told her she could come pick it up, so they new we were on our way, when we got there, a few minutes before closing, the lady that said to pick it up continued closing and wouldnt let us in. Is this the way you people do business? Tell people to pick up their stuff then close early while they are standing there! Very unprofessional, SHAME ON YOU! I highly recommend people do not do business with this company.

2022-02-21The knowledgeable staff provided excellent guidance for my latest PC upgrade. I had a pleasurable shopping experience. It was much preferable to my usual multi hour study session on pcpartpicker.com prior to ordering parts. Its easier to lean on the wealth of knowledge behind the counters here. Thank you.

2022-03-12Overall good experience, a bit pricey but affordable, thats expected from a tech company. My laptop being fixed in a day although I did have to wait a few days from a information miss input, it was well worth the wait for someone that does not know how to handle the components. In addition, there were multiple PCs being out together and Laptops being fixed which shows the work ethics of the employees(Adrian and any others I did not meet). [If there is any reply, you can use Matt instead of my mostly inappropriate joke alias]

2022-02-05Took my pc here to get a diagnose, found out it was the power supply so I bought a new from them and paid for the diagnose. Another problem came up so I call them and they said I was still under warranty which would be free so I took it back and when I pick it up they still changed me for a diagnose (69.99). They said because it was a software issue and hardware im going to be charged. This charge was not mention to me at all over the phone. I will never come back to this store. Waste my money and time. Btw they said it was a wifi problem while in fact i know it is not since it everything was working perfectly before I had a hardware problem.

2022-02-22Fast service. Military Discounts. They fixed my laptops jammed on/off switch with out replacing the card that it is on, and upgraded my SSD to a 1 TB SSD at a reasonable price.

2020-05-02Excellent customer service. One-on-one attention and they are not in a hurry. They explain everything clearly. They took their time and helped me purchase the next upgrade that I truly needed to do all of the work that I use a computer for. My last computer purchased here lasted five years and is still going strong. But I needed a faster computer for the graphic design work that I do. Dallas was an excellent salesman and the company really worked quickly to provide me the computer I needed in a hurry. The price was excellent and so are the people that work here.

2021-09-21The review from Ericberto Lopez from 3 months ago is still accurate, this is probably the worst place to try and find a GPU atm as they will charge almost 75-100% markup AND require you to buy two other parts. I understand the need to do something because of the high demand but doing both is just greedy.
