We just returned from a 5 night stay at this hotel. The good: directly across the street from Disney. That’s honestly about it. No maid service in 5 days, no breakfast offered, no real service here. You literally don’t come into contact with anyone and it seems they like it that way. We won’t stay here again, there are better options for the amount we paid, it was expensive for an outdated motel.
This hotel is probably the closest you can get to Disneyland without staying at an expensive Disneyhotel. Right next to a dennys and a IHOP so when you get back to the hotel you can eat without having to eat at an expensive restaurant.Besides the location it is a very good hotel, clean with a new-ish television and a gift shop. And my favorite feature it on the first night you stay you can go up the stairs to the seating next to the gift shop and watch the fireworks. 5 stars
Awesome staff and service. Room was readily available before check in time making it a convenience when going to the parks. Parking was no trouble and free for your time there. The rooms were nice and clean with comfortable beds. The distance from the hotel to the park is great. Closest hotel you can get with great staff, parking, and nice rooms for a reasonable price. Having the hotel so close to the parks allowed easy access to breaks from the park, getting anything you forgot, or putting away things for the rest of the day at the parks. Will definitely be booking here again with my next stay!
Directly across the park, really couldnt get any closer. I was on the second floor and we had a view of fireworks from our hotel room holloween night, since the kids had tuckered out and needed sleep before they started I was still able to watch the show from our window while they slept which was amazing. Also we flew in early and planned to just leave our bags at check in and go to the park, but our room was ready and we were able to set up our stuff in our room at 11am. The staff were excellent. Our beds were comfortable and the boys loved the bunk beds. Rooms had fridge and microwave and the little market store downstairs was very convenient. Will stay again for sure.
We just stayed in this hotel as we have for years. Very convenient and they have always had free parking, wifi and great breakfast. We were sad to learn upon our most recent visit they do not offer breakfast and havent done so for a year. Very sad since we always counted on eating Breakfast at the hotel before going to the park. Otherwise this hotel is nice and clean and very close to the entrance.
The good:You can’t ask for a better location! When you’re walking out of the Disneyland/California adventure exit, completely exhausted, it’s nice to know you’re bed is quite literally across the street. The size of the room was good, so is the refrigerator. The AC cooled off the room quickly plus there’s a ceiling fan. I was able to check in on my phone, and get a digital key, which was incredibly helpful considering how late we were arriving. I loved having no line to wait in at the front desk. The bad:It’s a motel, and it’s very loud. You can hear everyone walking around outside of their rooms as if they were in your room. The doors, walls, ceilings and floors are all very thin, so if you’re a light sleeper like me, you won’t sleep well. The rooms are also very outdated. We stayed on the second floor, and it was a pain to drag all of our stuff up the stairs.
Our family of 5 just got back from our vacation to Anaheim. We visit about every other year and each year we try out a new hotel. This was the first time we’ve used Park Vue and after our recent stay I will absolutely return. Our room was clean, it was spacious and furniture was placed so efficiently for travelers. The fridge was nice and big with a large freezer, there was a microwave with a coffee machine. The room had lots of USB ports and plugs to charge all of our devices. We had two queens and a bunk bed. They were very comfortable and we had lots of pillows. The AC kept our room as cool as we wanted it. The bathroom had so much space and the vanity was separate from the toilet and shower. The grounds were clean, we loved the gift shop for little things here and there. WiFi worked great and the parking was awesome! Along with all of this Disneyland was so close (as close as you can get) which was nice to go back to mid-day for naps with the littlest one. The only downsides were no breakfast and the hottub was not open. The pool was a very basic pool but I loved everything else so much it doesn’t even matter to me about those other things.I will absolutely stay again next time we are in town.
Would definitely recommend and stay again! The room was updated and clean. The desk staff was very welcoming. It was a great deal for being so close to the park. You are paying for location so be sure to bring your own toiletries otherwise you will be greatly disappointed by the quality of them.
Thank you Carlos from the front desk for making the check in process so incredibly seamless and easy. Location is a big part of the reason why we continue to stay here but its also for the staff! Unfortunately, the breakfast nook may not be coming back but staying at this hotel every time is and has been great and wonderful.
Laundry room was out of service with no notice and our room was infested with ants on our last night. We were with 3 other families and one family had the same thing and had to change rooms. The manager was difficult about helping with the situation. We loved how close it was but our experience wasn’t what we hoped it would be!
What a wonderful stay! The staff greeted us and he was so delightful! Check in was a breeze! We got to our room and it was sealed. Our room was cleaned and inspected thoroughly before us entering. The room was absolutely immaculate. The grounds itself is clean and welcoming. Disney is just across the street as well. Thank you Park Vue and staff for everything you do during these hard times. Our family appreciates you from the bottom of our hearts. Here’s to next time!
Just stayed in room 126 a downstairs room on June 25-28. I was pleasantly surprised by the updated room, it wasnt old looking like in the pictures. Cons: I DO NOT recommend a downstairs room in your are bothered by noise. The walls are thin and we heard everyone talking and walking by outside late at night and early morning. Whoever stayed upstairs from us had kids and must have been jumping off the bed and running around till atleast 11pm, then banging around started again at 530am ,you could hear wheels from suitcases, and tons or banging around. I feel like these guest were extra loud and careless that people were below them, but I also feel like there isnt much cushion on the flooring to muffle noise. You can hear when someone turns on their water. We finally had to call the front desk but Im pretty sure they didnt do anything about it. So bring ear plugs. We also had a door in our room that lead to someone elses room. We noticed the other side or the door would rattle like someone was messing with it.Pros: Clean, amazing A/c we had a low wall a/c unit near the sink and it would go as low as 61, so it was perfect, for the 85 degree weather. Curtains closed fully so that was nice. Parking seemed pretty good, we had an easy time getting a spot right outside out door. Water pressure was great in the shower. Hair dryer worked great. Room had a great mini fridge that fit all out park treats and waters. Microwave was great too!. We had a 2 queen bed room and the beds were sooooo comfortable, the blankets and pillows were so fluffy! We got to check in 1 hour early and check out late 1 hour, plus they let us leave our car there after check out so we could walk to downtown Disney. Bright sink mirror light and long body length mirror was awesome.Super easy walk to the park, Ill always stay at this hotel when visiting, it super close and easy to get to. I also recommend slippers because the hard floor is rough in your feet after a long day of walking in the parks.
In May I gave this motel a good review. Very clean etc. Now in July I go to book again and the same room is $300 !! We paid $125 two months ago. All the hotels I check for travel now are sky high. Price gouging because people are traveling again. I understand rates increase in summer but more than double??!!! I will not stay here again.
Excellent place to stay. It is right across the street from the entrance to Disneyland. The walk from the back of the hotel is as long as the walk from the front office to Disneyland. it is very close. The staff were always friendly. The rooms were always clean. We have stayed there several times and it is always our first choice when visiting Disneyland.
Our room was very clean and looked to have been remodeled recently. It had 2 queen beds as well as 2 bunk beds which was perfect with the kids. It was right across the street from Disneyland so you wake up and walk over! The kids loved the continental breakfast where they could make their own Belgium waffles, choose different cereals, bagels, fresh fruit, yogurt, Danish and oatmeal with no wait time. It was also nice that they had a store that sold all kinds of Disney tee shirts, stuffed animals and so much more. We would definately stay there again.
It had great breakfast included, pool was warm and not freezing like many and was in middle of parking but you wouldnt know that was the location as it is buried in the middle of mature shrubs and so you see nothing outside of the pool area when in there. Poolside tables and chairs and fresh towels located inside the enclosure. Staff was great! Very handy to park as it is just across the street only issue is the size of the room. Small and if you get the room with the bunk beds so very crowded
No air con. ! it was so loud. Needs to be replace ,!!Cleaning service for room. Did not clean the room . they use covid for excuses. Time after time. Its funny why do we have to ask for cleaning when we pay for a room really ? 3 days were enough. I will never stay there. But The good thing was we got a free day they did not charge us . this trip was plan 1 month ahead we thought they could have done better . right we will go next door to a better hotel. When we return. In a couple of months . all the. Desk. Help had attitude instead of remorse. Like we are so sorry for not cleaning your room or your bed sheets you have to ask us like we didnt😵
This hotel is in very close proximity to the Disneyland Parks. The rooms are clean and comfortable and well suited for families with children. Our room.had two full size beds and a bunk bed and fit our family nicely. The continental breakfast is good quality. We will be using this hotel on future trips.
Our first stay at this hotel was a gift. Then we decided the amenities and location were worth the price of the rooms. Usually we stay at chain motels, you come to know what to expect for the price. However this hotel changed our perspective. The staff is super friendly and outgoing, helpful and professional. The breakfast has a great variety and changes through out the week. The rooms are spacious as well as spotless. Housekeeping definitely needs some recognition because the cleanliness is superior. The pool and spa are awesome as well. With all this the icing on the cake is that you walk a cross the street to Disneyland!!!
This place is our go-to hotel whenever we visit Disneyland. It is directly across the street from the park, offers a hot breakfast every morning with make your own waffles, eggs, bacon, cereal, biscuits and gravy and a variety of drinks. Parking is free, and they even let you park until the end of your last day even after you have checked out. The rooms are clean, beds are nice, and they offer bunk beds and roll our cots. Although recently renovated, the rooms do seem to be louder than other places we have stayed. Im not sure if its the windows, or the walls. But for the price, the convenience, and the accessibility to Disneyland and a hot breakfast every morning its a great option for families
What a wonderful experience! The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. We took our family, including 3 under 3, to Disneyland and could not have asked for a better set up than was give by the Park Vue Inn. Walking distance from the park and reasonably priced for the benefits included. This is definitely where we will stay for all future visits to Disneyland.
Great place to crash after all day at Disneyland. It has recently been renovated and is a nice, average, clean, quiet motel. We have stayed here many times over the years. Its one of the closest places to stay near Disneyland. You can be inside Disneyland in 10 minutes - assuming no line! Price is reasonable!
Small hotel right in front of Disneyland entrance. Less than 5 min walk to entrance, crossing 1 street. Offers free Continental breakfast from 7-10am, and parking is included and is valid all day! Great for leaving your car while you visit Disney. Room is a decent size and even includes a refrigerator and a microwave. Although I was on the first floor it was fairly quiet and I had no problem sleeping through the night. It was a very pleasant stay and Ive already booked my next stay here.
Room was very clean, and the location to Disneyland cannot be beat. Unfortunately, they no longer serve a full breakfast which helped offset the cost. Parking is still free, a huge plus. We returned to the room very late and did not notice that the coffee cups and coffee had not been replaced.
Hotel was fine. While we were staying Disneyland shut down which means our stay here was no longer needed the full time we had booked. Literally every other company we’ve had to make changes with has been more than willing to refund what won’t be used and allow us to adjust our reservation. Not these guys. Said they needed 48hrs notice when we didn’t have know 48 hours ago that we wouldn’t be able to go to Disneyland. Pretty sad that management is that strict on trying to make a few bucks. Leaving a bad taste in my mouth and I definitely wouldn’t book here in the future. Lots of other options. And we are an ideal customer lots of little kids and we’ll be back to Disneyland a bunch in the next 5-10 years. Bummer!
Fantastic hotel within walking distance from Disneyland and California Adventure. We booked a hot tub suit so we could relax after a long day of walking around regardless of the pool hours. The room was clean and spacious. The hot tub was better than expected. All in all, the perfect place to call home in a Disney getaway. Will definitely be back.
The room is big and super nice, especially for the price. The Jacuzzi bath tub is nice. Theres a sink in the bathroom and one ouraide of it, which is great for two people getting ready in the morning. Super fast walk to Disney. Room has a fridge and microwave and coffee maker, plus theres free breakfast every morning. Not sure what I could complain about.
Excellent hotel, great staff. For their location (across the street from Disneyland) prices are good, but by no means cheap. Parking is a little tight, but not bad, and its free. Breakfast in AM is typical, but well tended. Overall, I give it 5 stars for cleanliness, room amenities, location and price.
Great hotel, although they did raise their prices. Right across the street from Disneyland. Very clean rooms and our bathroom was big. Good free breakfast in the morning with lots to choose from. If you bring your room card you get 10% off at cold Stone. Employees are friendly.
I think this might be the closest hotel to Disneyland? Located literally right across the street it was so convenient to be able to walk to the park and come back to the hotel at anytime we needed. The staff at the Park Vue are superb and they best full FREE breakfast that I have ever seen. This aint no continental breakfast...they had everything: eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, waffles, pancakes, fresh fruit, cereal, muffins, teas, coffee, fresh juices. I would recommend staying here and I will again in the future.
This is our favorite hotel when going to Disneyland. It is right across the street from the park entrance. It also has a nice pool and an excellent free breakfast. Parking is also included in the nightly cost. The best feature is the bunk beds in the room. Im so tired of sharing a bed with my wiggly kids that the bunk beds are a life saver! Best of all, its not outrageously priced.
First time staying here. I stayed Nov 14. Staff from the minute you walk in to when you leave was very professional and friendly. Had a problem with my room they took care of it right away. Great customer service. Pool and spa very clean with towels. Was able to leave my car while we walked across the street to Disneyland. Cold stone on property nice to grab ice cream and watch the fireworks. I would defiantly stay here again. I was referred here by a friend and it was all she said it would be. Thank you Park Vue Inn.😀😀😀
Love this place....breakfast is great the rooms are so clean I fell like I need to be cleaned before walking in, the temperature of the room is perfectly aligned with the weather and its right across from Disneyland. They also have a Disney shop down stairs and you can leave your car there the next day of you wanna walk across to Disneyland or downtown Disney. I have not one complaint about park vue inn. I rate it 10 stars
The BEST option for staying at Disneyland overnight. We stayed 5 nights. Its literally right across the street from the entrance to Disney. There are restaurants within walking distance. Its great to watch the fireworks from the pool if the kids are too pooped to stay at the park that long. They have a hot tub as well. The daily breakfast is great as well. The rooms were clean, A/C worked great. We will be staying there each time we go to Disneyland/California Adventure.
Ive stayed here several times visiting Disneyland. If youre looking for a convenient place to stay this is my favorite go-to. Its immediately across the street from the front gates. A hotels go, its barebones. Simple breakfast (eggs, bacon/sausage, pancakes, etc) at regular budget hotel quality, the rooms have basic stuff. The idea is youre here for Disneyland and you wont be spending much time in the room. Its hard to beat this location for this price.
This is how I reason a good place to stay. What is my purpose? To visit Disneyland and spend as little time in a room as possible. Is is close- DIRECTLY across the one and only entrance into both Parks. Is it safe? The spacious parking for a completely book facility. It was FREE and closer than Disneyland’s parking. FREE breakfast too.Now if it were summer, maybe a water park hotel. If i wanted to stay a full week and watch TV and spa out maybe the Marriott, but my purpose was Disneyland. We won’t stay anywhere else, it just doesn’t make sense!Things I loved-right across IHop,next to a car rental place$8.00 all you can eat buffet for the kids. Pizza, spaghetti, Mac cheese, organize chicken, salads, desserts, taco bar and western staples- for us....it worked.**We saved so much money on the room and food, that we were able to do princess platinum packages for the girls.Do what is your purpose for your stay?
Very happy with our stay! The rooms have been updated since I stayed last (in 2010) and I was very impressed with how nice the rooms are, how comfortable the beds are, the complimentary breakfast, and the friendliness of the staff. Great experience and would recommend to anyone traveling to Disneyland. The Disneyland entrance is literally right across the street.
My family and i staydd at this hotel few times. We were happy with our experience each time. We are not looking for top of the line most luxurious hotel. Mostly i look for convenience, comfort and security. Bonus , right across from Disney main entrance. Room was perfect for family of 5. Had everything we needed, clean and spacy Bathroom , very comfortable bed, enough room for us to relax. It also has, Pool and hot tub to enjoy on one of the floors for their Customers to enjoy. After a long walk in the Disneyland , it is a bonus for achy body!
Stayed in the King Jacuzzi room as newlyweds for our trip to Disneyland. Disneyland literally across the street! There is even a store attached for supplies to bring into the park. The convenience was worth the price. The smells outside can be a bit suspect. The bed was comfy. The bathroom fan was way too load. Minor thing compared to the major convenience and comfort that was delivered.
Very clean, nice rooms, great place to relax and right across the street from Disneyland. Only bad thing no elevators. If you have a lot to carry or a child in a stroller or wheelchair ask for first floor if not then it will suck getting to your room. Staff is very nice and helpful.
Loved, loved, loved my recent stay at this hotel!!As most commenters have already stated, this hotel is directly across the street from Disneyland Resort and allows for easy walking to and from the hotel and theme park. I was also immediately impressed with the hospitality and professionalism of the staff and wonderful amenities of my hotel room which offered two comfortable queen sized beds. The free breakfast offered each morning was also AMAZING! I also love that this hotel includes free parking, high speed internet access, a 10% discount for Coldstone Creamery, and easy access to many restaurants near Disneyland all at a decent price!! I seriously don’t have one bad thing to say about my stay at Park Vue Inn and will definitely be coming back to this location anytime I plan to lodge near the Disneyland area.
I made reservations back in Nov ‘18 for Jan 7-10 2019. We were very happy with our room and the services here. I also emailed ahead because the 7th was my daughter’s birthday. They left her a goodie bag of candy and a certificate for a personal size birthday cake from Cold Stone Ice Cream. The beds were very comfortable and everything was nice and clean. Breakfast was very good, including things like the usual waffles, eggs, sausage & potatoes one day to eggs, bacon and biscuits & gravy the next. Location is Excellent, right across the street from the entrance to Disneyland/California Adventure Park. We will definitely be booking there again! Also will recommend to other friends and family who wish to go to Disneyland.
Located across the street from the eastern entrance to the parks makes quick naps during the day a breeze. The room is average size, with fairly standard amenities for a hotel. The on-site convenience store has reasonable prices and a good aray of easy to make food and snacks. The area can get noisy at night as excited families show up and during the morning as they depart in their adventures. Will stay here again just for location alone, approximately a 5 minute walk to the parks.
This place is perfect for Disneyland is right at the entrance across the street. It is an average place its not luxury however its very convenient and they have free breakfast on the second floor which is full breakfast you can make waffles pancakes that have all day breakfast ingredients its awesome when it comes to that service wise its basic then have to deal with anyone just check in and out I would recommend that specifically or specially if you want something right across the street with free breakfast included.
Another perfect stay at Park Vue Inn. We have been staying here for 6 years when we go to Disneyland and its hands down the best hotel, value and location. LOVE the free breakfast and free parking, kids live the pool and jacuzzi, just cross the street to front gates at Disneyland. Absolute best value of our Disneyland trip!
The carpet was filthy in both of the rooms we stayed in are feet and socks were constantly turning black after walking on the carpet. The pressure of the shower was terrible which would make for extended showers in order to be completely be rinsed free of all the soap, multiple cracked or broken fixtures. Although the service was acceptable until I walked into the office the day we were leaving at 10:58am I notified them that we needed additional time to check out, we were told that this wasnt possible which made for a stressful checkout hopefully the lady who responded like this will receive some training Im sure by the way she responded to my request she may not have received any or forgot what she should have been taught good luck to who ever stays here. P.s. the best thing about this place was the fact that it was located directly across the street from Disneyland.
So close to Disneyland!! We got a room with with a jacuzzi and its been awesome getting to soak after a long day at the parks. Friendly staff, nice rooms, though I have found some new creepy crawlers each day (which is really Californias fault rather than the hotels). Would recommend for anyone who plans on walking to the parks, and the free breakfast is convenient too!
Great stay! Literally the closest hotel to the Disney Fantasyland. We booked months in advance and we got a corner room, with a corner jacuzzi tub and lots of room for our bags and shopping bags from Disney, very comfy bed, very clean rooms for a motel and great breakfast, which feature some hot items like bacon and potatoes, we came here for a honeymoon and they left us a welcome note and a welcome bag of chocolate too! Nice touch! will be back for sure!
Perfectly located for a Disneyland trip --- walkable to the resort entrance in less than 5mins. Amenities are simple, they provide a breakfast at 7am. The pool and hot tub was no frills but the kids will love to cool off and frolic and parents take a little afternoon siesta to get some energy to see the evening show. The rooms had a fridge, microwave and coffeemaker which helps to store groceries for snacks for the day.
The rooms are nicely updated and the bunkbeds are a great idea for families. The location is awesome, literally just across the street from the park entrance, we were even able to come back to the room for a short break during the day without feeling rushed. The rooms are a bit on the small side, but fine for a family of 4 if you are spending all day in the parks and breakfast was great.
Very detail review. We stayed at Park View Inn on July 9 obviously due to attending Disneyland. We were 3 adults. Child of 7 and a 3 month old. The hotel service was wonderful from the time I called to ask questions, to check in, to check out. I called a day before for a couple quesrions. Since we were going to check in to the hotel the day we were going to Disneyland I didnt want my husband to walk out of Disney to check in. I asked if it was ok to check in after 12am? They said yes to call before 12 am just so they dont mark me as no show. Since the hotel is across disney I also asked if we were able to park at the hotel the day we went to Disney since parking was already included in our payment? They said yes were able to park at the hotel the day we went to Disney and the next day of our check out till 10 pm. Which was awesome because the next day we went to Disney down town. Once we got the the room. When we went for check in the front desk staff was awesome and polite they had my key ready once I got there they explained times of breakfast, check out, and other hotel info. I know some pictures online look outdated but our room was modern looking. It was vary clean. I have bad allergies so obviously I check for dust no dust at all not even on the lamps. Bathroom was clean towels were clean. Sink, toilet, tub was very clean. You can also ask for a crib and its provided for free. The next morning we went to the lobby for breakfast. Their breakfast was great. They had Eggs, potatoes and sausage. The best part was they had several make your own waffles pans so you never have to wait to make your own. They had several drinks like coffee orange juice Apple juice for kids. They had 3 types of cereal for two for kids and one for adults and cold milk for the cereal. They had beagles toast and toaster with peanut butter spread and cream cheese. Apart from that they had fresh cut fruit, yogurt, and granola. They also had like to make your own oatmeal. They had two ladies cleaning the tables inside and outside and keeping the kitchen clean. Everything very clean. The pool looked clean but did not jave time to go in it. Our stay was wonderful and defenetly recommend this hotel to friends and family. Thank You Park View for a wonderful stay.
The place looks old, but they are doing a great job keeping it nice. And location is perfect for Disneyland. With 4 kids under eight years old, it was nice to walk to the parks and be able to go back for naps mid day when the crowds and sun are both full. Beds are really comfortable.
Stayed from Nov 12-18th, 2017. We were travelling with another family and the staff were so amazing and accommodating. Travelling with kids aged 7-14. Got 2nd floor rooms near the morning breakfast buffet. Rooms were fine....starting to show its age, but for what we paid and what an outstanding location.....2 min walk to Disneyland !!!! Will definitely be back and highly recommend for families. The hot breakfast buffet available every morning helped with cost savings.
Excellent location and easy walk to Disneyland and Disney California adventure. My family especially like the rooms that include a king size bed and bunkbeds for the kids to share. The free breakfast is basic, but enough to keep the family going until lunch in the parks.
Ive had nothing but great experiences with this hotel after multiple stays. Reasonably priced, clean rooms, helpful staff and the location is walking distance to the main entrance to Disneyland. Theyre also very considerate with parking options before and after your stay to accommodate days at the park.
Unbeatable location, comfortable bed, decent pool. Thats about it for the good points. On the other hand, the A/C smelled like urine, the toilet ran and the carpets were disturbingly sticky. We kept finding that the bathmat would turn black after our showers and we were only walking barefoot on the carpet...Service was poor as the housekeepers did an indifferent job and never gave us more soap (good thing I kept some from our last hotel). Breakfast was ok with a couple of hot items in chafing dishes as well as cereal, toast, bagels, etc. No fresh fruit, but its not expected at this price level. Finally, the wifi only worked intermittently. We figured it was fine for a place to sleep while spending 90% of our time at Disney, but well probably look at one of the other many, many hotels along this street next time. Ill walk another couple of hundred feet each day in order to get a room that doesnt smell like pee...
I type this review at 5am as the people above me have for the last hour decided they need to pace back and forth and do god knows what else. At some points it sounds like a WWE wrestling match. When I say you can hear everything above you I am not exaggerating. The floors creak like an old ladys knees. You can hear when people above and next to you turn on their showers. The beds didnt make anything any more bearable either. There are several signs all over the property reminding people to be quiet. Its because you can hear everything through the walls. From peoples kids running down the hallway to people rolling their suitcases.I called the front desk at 6am after listening to the above ridiculousness for almost two hours and explained the situation. I requested a second floor room for our second night hoping that would alleviate the main issue. At first I was told there wasnt anything he could do. Then he put me on hold and said he would put me in for a room move and to come to the office after 3pm to pick up the new key. I asked him if I would get a second floor room and he said he didnt know.We seriously had to leave Disneyland just to come back to the hotel at 3 to take care of this.We did get a second floor room. The toilet had some issues. It took forever to fill up after flushing and then got plugged up. We had to call to have someone take care of it. The mattresses made some god awful squishy noise any time you moved on it. This was our first and last visit. Staying across the street is not that important when you cant relax in your room.
Love this hotel, its the only hotel we have ever stayed in for Disney, and this was our third stay. The room is clean and comfortable, but basic, the breakfast is simple yet fine, the best thing is being right across the street from the entrance to the parks! And, you can see the fireworks from the hotel! Will be back next time we head to Disneyland!
Stayed here for 4 nights in November 2016 on a visit to Disneyland. The location is excellent, directly across the street from the east entrance, so no shuttle is necessary. Staff is friendly, rooms are basic and clean, price is right. Breakfast was included, hot and cold choices, decent quality and choice.
Always a great stay, closer then the Disneyland hotel. Paid for 3 nights for the price of one night on Disney property (I mean you spend most of the time in the park anyway). Clean rooms, bunk beds for the kids, helpful service, and a decent breakfast included (although you need to start at 6am instead of 7 if any management are reading).
Great place to stay if you are going to Disneyland. The closest motel you can get, as it is right across the street from the gates! Staff is friendly, decent free breakfast and the rooms are nice and clean. If you are traveling to visit Disneyland, STAY THERE! Youll be thankful at the end of the day when you are tired and walking back to your Motel!!!
We really liked this location for our Disneyland trip. Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies on arrival was a nice touch!Being directly across the street was very nice. We probably only went back to hotel in middle of day twice but the times we did it helped a huge plus.
Not 5 stars like Trump Towers (😁) but what more could you ask if youre going to Disneyland? It is RIGHT across the street from the main entrance to Disney, not close to it, not near to it, but DIRECTLY across, one pedestrian crossing and BAM, youre there. Price is amazingly reasonable for that access. No funny smell, the bathroom and shower are clean, without mold, and feel hygienic. It has pool, hot tub, hot breakfast, a little gym (never saw anyone there...), and a nice, little, uncrowded, second story area for watching the 9:00 nightly fireworks if youre not actually at the park.I pulled into parking space directly in front of our room, unpacked, and didnt need to use the car for three days.Three turns/5 minutes away from 101.24 hour IHOP next door.Again, what more could you want?
Although the location is spectacular for a trip to Disneyland, right across the street, a three minute walk to the security line, I was not very impressed with the rooms (dated), the bed (uncomfortable) or anything. It was extremely ok. Really the only value here is the location. Can not recommend.
HELLA EXPENSIVE!!! 2 days stay = over $106 fees and taxes??? Desk said its due to being in Anaheim. Even tho its across from Disneyland, this is horrendous!Has generic, flavorless breakfast. Nice staff, has descent size mini fridge and a small microwave.Research elsewhere and take a paid ride service. Itll save you money.
I wouldnt stay anywhere else!!!! For the past seven years I have only stayed here and once at the Disneyland hotel.... I can honestly say that I would rather stay here. Free breakfast that is hot and changes everyday!!! I didnt use the wifi because we werent in the room wanting to be online. They had plenty of outlets to charge phones and iPads ect.. On the large desk there was 2 USB ports and plugs....AC worked greatfloors ALWAYS looked cleanbathroom was clean and had plenty roombeds are very comfortable and had plenty comfortable pillowsFront desk staff always greeted you with a smile and had answers for all my questions. The cleaning staff was awesome!!!!The pool was easy to access and the hot tub was inviting, especially after a day walking around the parks!!The price is great for the location and amenities!!!Great view of Disneylands nightly fireworks!! It was nice to sit out our door and watch without the crazy crowds!Worth every penny!!!!
If you are going to Disneyland....This is a great spot for a hotel. It is right across the street! The rooms were average but had everything needed. Beds, bathroom, tv, desk, microwave, and refrigerator. There is a small pool and hot tub. Breakfast is included every morning. Lots of good places to eat at within walking distance. It has an air conditioner but it is in the bathroom area, I suggest you bring a fan to blow the cold air into the room.
Lets face it, the only real reason to stay here is the incredibly close proximity to Disneyland. Dont get me wrong, there is nothing as amazing as being able to stagger across the street from the park into bed after a long day walking! Dont expect an amazing lodging experience though - our room had ants and the free breakfast was flavorless.
It used to be easy booking a room. They did remodel so Im sure its gotten better. It used to be old and moldy. The staff was ok. Not happy but not rude. Its right in front of the Disneyland entrance. And IHOP is right next door. I have not been able to book a room for the past 3 years. So I cant comment on the rooms just yet. But I back in 08-12 the rooms were nice the beds were comfortable. A little outdated and moldy. But like I said.... they did remodel the rooms!! Hope to book a room soon and give them the starts they deserve.
The best part of this inn is that its literally across the road from Disney. While everyone else is waiting for a bus or walking a mile down the road after a long day, you just walk across the street. While it is in motel fashion with rooms facing parking lot, it was high quality and clean still. Breakfast was great. Our room AC unit should be moved out of the bathroom because the air tends to get trapped in that space.
Perfect place if you want to visit disneyland. Clean, friendly staff, enough parking for all guests and right across the street to the disney entrance. Decent breakfast and lots of places to eat close by. We had the 3 queen 2 room suite which is great for a big family.
The BEST location for walking into Disneyland. The crosswalk into Disneyland is like 30 feet from the hotel. Its an older building. Rooms are a little small. But its kept up nicely. Pretty good free breakfast with a lot of options to choose from. It used to be a pretty good deal as well, but they have raised their rates to match the other really close hotels. The Fairfield by Marriott is 5 minutes walk further, has larger rooms, cheaper prices, but no free breakfast.Edit 9/2018: Word has apparently gotten out about Parkview Inn and the price has gone up a lot. We decided to save around $70 per night and stay at the Fairfield. It was about 5 minutes farther to walk and no free breakfast and no free parking. But we still saved money.
Our family of 5 stayed here for 4 nights over the New Year. We arrived early and were greeted warmly and given a pass to park our car. We then walked about 500 steps to the entrance of the park. You CANNOT beat the location! The room was ready around 2pm and we had no issues with it. Next time will ask for a room even FARTHER back in the corner to help cut down on the noise from little feet running to breakfast. Speaking of the breakfast - scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, bagels, cereal, yogurt, fruit - was a GREAT variety for a complementary breakfast! Every request we had from extra towels to extra toilet paper was taken care of quickly and with true helpfulness. This is the only place I will stay when coming to Disneyland from now on!
This place is right across the street from Disneyland. We stayed a week and had no issues. The staff is excellent and very accommodating. The only issue I have is we stayed on the bottom floor. No matter how quiet the people above was trying, you can hear every step.
The staff is wonderful at accommodating our needs. We needed the bigger room and they changed it in a flash. The desk chair kept sinking and they brought us a new one straight away! Location couldnt be much better, literally right across the street from Disney. Oh, pretty good breakfast to boot! 😄
This is the CLOSEST you can stay that’s walkable distance to Disneyland. It’s about a 10 minute walk ( and that’s mainly because the Disneyland entrance is that far from the road). Basic, clean, decently maintained, good breakfast spread ( self-making waffles , buttermilk biscuits and sausage gravy are highlights) wifi works, beds were made everyday, check-in at 2.30am was a breeze. Kids loved the bunk bed which was included in the queen room. The bunk bed , apart from location was the main reason for choosing theParkVue. We just used it to crash at night and it served the purpose very well. We found no bed bugs though we did read previous reviews about the problem. There was an extra blanket and pillow provided, which proved to be useful as it gets chilly in the evenings.
Location was great as far as being walking distance to food and to Disney. However, the pool was disgusting. Lots of dead insects and leaves floating indicating filter isnt working or on. Algae growing on walls and bottom which tells you that it is not being disinfected and cleaned Gross for a public pool.
Stayed here for a birthday staycation and we got the hot tub room, which was amazing! The proximity to Disneyland allowed us to go back and for between the room and the park without issue. I reccomend this place for anyone looking to have an adventure to Disneyland without bring stranded without a place to hide
No wheelchair access to breakfast, bathroom was very musty with bugs in it and spiders in room. I do not know how this hotel has 5 stars. It is convenient and staff excellent but that does not outweigh the lack of accessibility and the condition of the room. Would not recommend.
Jonathon at the front desk started our arrival day off with amazing enthusiasm and care, even though it was 6:45am. The room is simple but comfortable for my 8 year old and I. There is a fair amount of street noise and guest noise but not so much to disturb our sleep. You cant beat the walk to the park time. So convenient!
We are staying in the king spa room for 2 nights. We like it! This is the best place we have stayed at so far on Harbor Blvd. Room is small but the room amenities are perfect for us. Seperate full bath, extra sink, spa tub, refrigerator, microwave and kitchen table for 2, closet, 3 drawer small dresser and a nightstand each with a drawer. Place is quite except we were woken up by the children opening and closing the door multiple times. We also noticed that the wall the spa is on, is the same wall that bunkbeds are on in the next room. Turning on jets would be bothersome for the neighbor. ( Signs everywhere quite time is 10pm-9am).Our suggestion would be to not rent out a room with children next to a king spa room. Hotel is nice and clean. Definitely stay again.
Been staying here for years. You literally can not get closer to the park gates, even with the Disney hotels. Great prices, clean rooms. Friendly staff. The free breakfast is pretty good. Highly recommend you stay here. IHOP and Coldstone are in the parking lot for the hotel making for great snacks and alternative to breakfast. Room service does a great job cleaning the rooms and is quick to bring any requested items. Free cookies and punch at the front desk as well. Free WiFi in rooms. Having stayed at numerous hotels in the area including the Disney hotels, this is our pick every time now.
Maid staff was exceptional!! I left my new phone and disney family photos, they were prompt to help get them sent back to me....Im forever grateful (all of our family vacation pictures were on my phone)Rooms were clean, pool and Hot tub was nice, laundry available (with three littles, I definitely used it!)Highly recommend! Thank you Park Vue Inn staff ♡
The hotel itself is exceptionally normal and unimpressive. What makes the stay totally worth it is the fact that the entrance to the parking lot is literally the crosswalk into Disneyland. If Disneyland is your destination, and you dont want to shell out for a Disney hotel, this is your place.
Our experience with this hotel was awesome! seriously as close as possible, and at the end of a disney day you just wanna crawl in bed not sit and wait for a shuttle! the price was right, and the continental breakfast was a major bonus, the room was small but we literally only slept there so who cares!! very clean and friendly, we would stay there again fo sho
Biggest plus is across the road to Disneyland. Breakfast provided but standard motel fair. Rooms dated. The room with a bunk bed is VERY small. Practically no space for walking if you open a luggage. Picture showing a wardrobe space may be misleading, some rooms (like mine) dont have that.
Its right across disneyland which is very convenient. You just need to cross the street. There is coffee, cookies and lemonade available at the registration. Parking is free for the stay.WiFi was not available during the first day of our stay due to some issues. Rooms are decently sized. Carpet seemed dirty, so I suggest to bring slippers.
All this place has going for it is the location. The first night we got.back to the room very late and the pull out had dirty unchanged sheets. We went and told the front desk the next morning and they said they were sorry and would look into it. Well when we returned the next night the room was not.made up and the sheets on the pull out were still unchanged. Guess all they did was look into it. I normally am easy to please and give good reviews. Please think twice about staying somewhere a little further from the park so you get more than just.a good location.
Exceeded Expectations!! We have been regular patrons of this hotel over the past 10 years. Weve always been happy with the service and most of all, the location. Short of staying at one of the hotels within the park (very expensive), YOU CAN NOT GET CLOSER TO THE MAIN ENTRANCE!! Located directly across the street from the main entrance, the Park Vue is also within walking distance of several good restaurants.Since our last visit, they have now expanded the breakfast to include waffles, omelets, bacon, as well as all the usual continental stuff. They now also offer a small dinner. While nothing great, it is a great addition for those that do not want a lot and/or have children. The offerings change by the day. During our visit, they served hot dogs & chili, Chicken burgers, nachos, etc. Also since our last stay, they now welcome you with a complimentary wine (you can substitute sparkling cider) and fruit basket! Great touch! This is co-sponsored by their on-site partners Cold Stone!! Restaurants within walking distance include IHOP (on-site], Tony Ramas, and Mimis. Within a 1/2 mile walk are Cheesecake factory, Bubba Gumps and many more.Competition is obviously strong here and this motel is working hard to provide more while keeping the price within reach of the typical family. The staff is very attentiive and responds immediately to any request.
I used to be a big fan of Park Vue Inn but it seems the quality has taken a dive recently. On our last stay they shooved us in a tiny room, made worse by the fact they crammed bunkbeds into a space not designed for them. Then the bed was easily the cheapest and hardest piece of crap Ive ever had to sleep on. Honestly Ive had Motel6 locations that were nicer. On top of the horrible bed, I was awoken every 15 minutes to the toilet running, each time wasting more and more of our precious water. It is obvious this place has taken the turn for the worse, stay elsewhere.
The hotel was great, and in close proximity to the park. Thd staff was wonderful, too. Breakfast was nice but nothing wonderful. My only complaint is how thin the roof is; I never heard voices coming from the other rooms, but if someone walked upstairs I heard every foot fall.
Its ok....there is no smoking allowed anywhere except by the trash dumpsters. But if youre homeless, they dont mind if you beg for change at the pool while smoking. I even saw one homeless guy sleeping in the pool area overnight. If you hate smokers and love being solicited by bums....this is the place for you!
Brand new remodel, modern looking and sharp rooms. Really nice furniture, new carpet and tile. Takes less time to walk back to your room then between tower of terror and pirates of the carribean, cant get any closer then that. Literally at the street light across from park. Made the vacation so much better and convinent.
Only downfall is there is no elevator. So if you have luggage and children and strollers and car seats and just anything...be prepared to lug it up a flight of narrow stairs...oh and its even easier trying to take it all back down! Oh and if you are there for more than one day no need to hit the gym, espically after walking around the parks all day, its exactly what you want to do....climb up and down stairs......oh and they dont help you either....they dont even bother telling you there is no elevator....ok im done...

2022-06-05The Park Vue Inn is a magical place. The staff is amazing, seems like they are always cleaning and keeping the parking area spotless. The housekeeping staff was amazing and did a wonderful job as well. All that and only 891 steps to the gate of Disneyland. This is a must stay. In the room before a shuttle could even leave the bus stop. Add that to the amazing staff and comfortable bed and you will have the best Disneyland experience short of sleeping in the park.

2022-01-30I really like staying at this hotel for its location to Disneyland. Using the app to get my key, access my room, and check out was okay, not my favorite, but others probably like it. The bed was comfortable. Restaurants nearby. I have stayed here before and will stay again. There is no breakfast offered. It is easy to drive right past it so be on the lookout! (Turn right before IHOP)

2022-05-26Pros: really close to Disneyland, prices are very good compared to other hotels, discount on Cold Stone Ice Cream.Cons: they put a sticker seal on your door saying it was clean and sanitized but it means nothing. There was someones hair on our towels and bathroom counter. The carpet is so dirty my socks were getting black within 30 minutes of walking on it. The AC worked but made loud compressor clicking noises every time it ran. Lobby staff was uninterested and not welcoming upon arrival and it felt like we were a burden to them.

2022-03-22Do not stay in this hotel, but if you do at least try to get a room in the upper floor so it may be less loud at night.PROS:Right across the entrance to Disney, the reason why I chose this place.CONS:Extremely small rooms (the picture of the room seemed nice, the reality, completely different)Super small bathroom, not even enough room for toiletriesNo housekeeping service unless you stay 5 days, (I was there 4, so I wonder if that is even true)Cheap everything, not even creamer but white powder for the cheap coffee provided in the room. The hotel is not cheap, you can get a better one for the same price.LoudI never saw housekeeping except for the day I was leaving when they knocked in my door around 9:00 am. Check out is at 11:00 , so at 11:05 I was already getting calls from the front desk telling me to get out or pay for a late check out, even when I told them that I was just waiting for my ride. well you are not supposed to wait in the room after 11, so I waited outside the room.I feel sorry for the people working there, they try to be nice and deal with all those inconveniences, but management seems to be extremely cheap. It was a big mistake I will never stay there again, specially because in the middle of the day when Disney gets so crowded you need a break, and it would have been really nice to go to rest for a few hours in a nice hotel.

2022-01-19My daughter and I have stayed at Park Vue many times since she was 4 until our most recent visit last weekend. She is now 20 years old. This establishment has excellent customer service that keeps up with the times. We were able to do completely contact less check in and out and our room was emaculate, as always. The complex is quiet and the rooms cozy and they are DIRECTLY across the street from the Disneyland entrance, which is wonderful...especially at the end of the day when its time to go home and youve been walking all day long. Its been a few years that we stayed here, but after our last perfect visit we will make this our go to hotel once again! The saying you get what you pay for is absolutely true. We have visited less expensive establishments and had an ok stay. For just a little more money, we got a perfect one!

2021-12-17Stayed in just about every hotel on Harbor across the street from the parks and hands down, Park Vue is the best. From their easy to navigate web processes including no contact pre check in - Open Key is used to generate your room key so you can bypass the front desk if you wish- to the comfy , well appointed rooms. Was also very quiet which is almost unheard of at these hotels. Parking lot is compact, but not dangerously and they don’t stress about you parking there on your check out day which many do not allow( looking at you Desert Inn). Customer service requests were handled efficiently and pleasantly and Elizabeth at the front desk is a treasure- all in all, wonderful stay and I’ve already booked our next stay.

2022-03-05Ive stayed here for years and have always enjoyed it. I am reconsidering staying here now as free breakfast is no longer offered. I wish they would bring it back. Also, we had an ant infestation when we woke up from our first night stay. They promptly moved us to another room but I was paranoid the rest of the trip.

2022-02-15Heidi and I love this place. It’s perfect for her as a traveling Cast Member and unbeatable for when the family is able to join. It’s Family-owned and operated and you can definitely tell the difference that makes after staying at some of the other corporate-owned motels. They updated rooms during the pandemic and everything from beds, to furniture, to AC is modern. The remote-controlled AC units face the outside wall which is so convenient when pushing strollers down the corridors without having to go around hallway facing units like other places have. The small touches like plenty of usb chargers by desk and beds are so nice for charging phones, iPads, and watches without having to dig around for adapters. They take covid seriously and every room is cleaned and sealed when you arrive. Location is unbeatable and you can watch the fireworks at night from their rooftop patio. Park Vue Inn is the absolute best value around. We hope to be back soon!

2022-06-23I loved the layout of the room. So much space in the room, kitchenet, nice mirror to get ready in the morning and just convenient. Super convenient to be right across from the disneyland park. When your super tired of walking. Super close to plenty of restaurants.
