Entry line can be timely, when you need a 15-30 leaving can be enough room before pedestals and one step early of finishing leaving Pier J
Incredibly slow at the front gate. Once inside the service is good. The service at the front gate for trucks is atrocious.
Very bad, they need to get rid of union workers, the do not have any incentive to help and only do what they have to, to get by.As much money as they are paid, and great of benefits that they get they are an unhappy miserable bunch and make us the customer suffer because they are not happy.
Truck lines for entrance is total bs, no one guiding traffic, its a total free for all

Customer Service at SSA is the best, they are helpful and attentive to provide customer with information and to solve respective problems. Hanjin was also good at that, but now, they dont even answer the phone.Thanks.

Wrong place, I am a truck driver and I need to enter to carry out any operation inside to earn a living and support my family, because these gentlemen do not take care of you well, they also do not work efficiently and when you complain they call you to security to get you out of the terminal .It is a dictatorship given that they belong to the UNION, They also earn 80.90 dollars an hour, and they work 4 and they pay them 8. My impression that they do it in collusion with the address of said terminal to strike the undeclared government.
Does anyone know the company Centrans Container Terminal, which is supposedly located in an area near the Pacific Container Center ... would you appreciate comments?

2022-06-22The pedestal workers don’t know what they’re doing. This place is one of the slowest ports of not THE slowest. They get all their chassis information mixed up and waste your time.

2021-02-02This terminal is hit or miss....It all depends on 3 things. Are their ingate computers working? Do they have chassis? Last but not least.. Is there a train being built? The last one is of concern because the train tracks cut the terminal in half. If your load or empty location is on the other side of the tracks from where you in gated than you will be waiting for up to an hour as they build the train onsite (dockside). Why they would do this during peak hours of operation I do not know. Maybe SSA terminal management will see this review and respond.

2021-02-1602/16/2021I went on my earned truck, the first week February with my hard earned, paid off truck. Then I am disptch again before Valentines and I could not enter bcs not registered with emodal. I called dispatch to register. Then I remembered I had entered before. Therefore someone is lying and messing with my money and gets me very upset.I have to say that I cannot believe of someone manipulating, controlling the people that work here to lie.I dont lie bcs first you have to think about one lie, then another lie to back up the first lie. Then another to back up the first and second lie. Next thing you know, your just full of shiet.The sad part about it is that you know your lying and realize that your full of shiet.Remember l, I had entered this terminal before with my truck.If someone is intervining withy life, the only one I got. Why dont you step up to the plate and talk to like a human been?I got something you want or that belong to you? I tell you this you need to stop your intervining with my life.The road lines are been painted and the Emency line is the best for Emergemcy Vehicles.We dont need to be waitimg in line 10 -15 mints for 1 mint service of locattion.What I do like is the new Terminal Rules For Truckers (Transporters).

2019-11-04Very slow working terminal. when there is very little truckers going they slow down the entrance to make it appear that its busy when it really isnt. intimidation from security personal and disrespect. they put cones at the front of every entrance lane and cause huge lines that can cause accidents outside. finally, does everyone really need to go to lunch at the same time why dont they take turns to keep traffic to a minimun. plus the workers leave at 11:45am-1:15pm.

2021-11-19Waited 5 hours to get the wrong container put on after telling clerk the number 5 times so basically had to go back in line at the entrance to do it all over again.

2020-06-11Restructured appt times for empty inbounds to make Trucking even more difficult then it already is. No leeway, no common sense, no sense of caring period!! All of the ports need to be fully automated. Especially this one.
