A great place for sunshine and coffee. Social distancing is easy on the big patio outside of this locals spot. The tables are appropriately spaced and patrons casually wait to enter to order a great coffee, assorted baked goods and other delights. The toasted everything bagel with scrambled egg and bacon was very good. The croissants looked delicious. I was jealous of my friends choice to get one.
Excellent service from the counter person who cheerfully and perfectly handled my complicated order. The coffee and delicious treats made me and my fellow fire evacuees feel so much better. She was especially patient with my poor hearing, which annoys the heck out everyone except her.The coffee and the treats were delicious.Do try the coffee cake and the crumb pastries.Yummy!I will be back soon!
My family and I regularly visit, and always enjoy ourselves. The owner and staff are generally warm and friendly. I love that they offer an awesome organic acai bowl at a fair price, and that they have a whole selection of organic Three Twins ice cream available. My husband says the coffee is great too :)
Love the staff here! Great food, drinks, and service. My son was busy enjoying his bagel sandwich when he knocked over his hot chocolate. Although I had asked for a wet cloth and paper towels to clean it up. The staff was quick to help us get the area cleaned themselves. Then advised they would provide my son a replacement hot chocolate. (So sweet of them!!) Now thats service and they have gained a repeat customer!!
Friendly staff at this cafe with coffee beans, coffee drinks and bagels. They also roast and sell coffee beans as well. Outside dining during COVID19 is available. They do practice social distancing with marks on the floor. Had a Cafe Latte that was good - would have like it a little stronger - but still good. As of Aug 2020 they are open til 7pm.
Great Coffee and breakfast!Tom , the Owner roasts the coffee every Wed inside the store...after 5pm the show goes on! You should stop and see that at least once! The Aroma of the roasted coffee is amazing !I love the ambient...I love Tom and Dena ( The owners ) and the all crew! Very friendly.
Pretty average coffee shop. I usually come here because its the closest coffee shop to my house, but overall I find their drip coffee pretty underwhelming. Just okay. I have tried their chai latte as well, and it was fine, but I wasnt really impressed. I have also tried the breakfast sandwich on a bagel, and it tasted kind of bland. With so many other local coffee shops that I know are great in Santa Cruz, Pacific Coffee just doesnt stack up to the competition in my opinion. But if its just simple coffee youre looking for, then Pacific Coffee will do just fine. They have a decent amount of seating inside, but not very many outlets, so be aware if you plan on plugging in.
Has been one of my favorite coffee shops for a long time. Family owned and operated. Delicious coffee and espresso drinks. My favorite is the cafe ibarra which is like dark chocolate espresso that is not sweet!! Not like a mocha. Its amazing if you like mochas but dont want all the sugar. Also good for a cheap quick delicious coffee in your own to go mug.
The Pacific Coffee Roasting Company is one of my favorite spots! Great coffee. Delicious pastries. Friendly employees. I recommend you get a Double con Panna made upside down. Its a delicious espresso dessert drink. Its simply two shots of espresso pulled over half a cup of whipped cream. Delicious! Nice atmosphere with very nice outdoor seating on the patio. I think youll love the Pacific Coffee Roasting Company in Aptos, CA.
Owners are a little uptight, especially for average quality coffee, tea, and food. Some of the food is homemade, for better or for worse. Expect to be charged extra for at least one thing thats usually free at most other places. Good amount of parking and seating. Love the self serve option for coffee and the gelato selection.
Best place to get a cup of coffee, their mochas and lattes are good but pretty standard , on the other hand if u like regular coffee they make cups of coffee too order. So you can alwasy get fresh hot cup of flavorful coffee , not something out of a big pot that might be 3 hours old.
I asked for a large double almond milk late. I got was half almond milk half foam and what tastes like a single shot. For the cost of coffee I would expect they had baristas that knew what they were doing.Huge disappointment... I wish they had people that had pride on what they did.
I like coming here to sit down with some books and a hot drink. It seems this is a popular place with folks in the neighborhood. Sometimes there will be small groups of people gathered--bicyclists after a morning ride, old friends catching up. This place has a modern and friendly vibe.
Cafe workers seemed a little confused and/or frazzled on a late Sunday morning when cafe traffic was picking up... There were some just standing around as a huge line formed and others running into each other and doubling up on someones order...Other than that, cute cafe with basic offerings.

2022-04-19They know what they are doing! Our barista took a while to get us the oat milk cappuccinos but it was so frothy and well done. I appreciated her taking the time and enjoyed the coffee.

2021-06-15I see why people are lined up outside the door. They make really good coffee, and more than just make a tasty cup of coffee. They actually roast the beans right there--the bags of beans are on the floor to the right as you enter, and their roasting machine is across from the beans. It doesnt stop there. They have a case of sweet treats. I had a chocolate macaroon that was quite tasty. The staff is friendly. They have tables inside and out. The tables outside have umbrellas for shade. There is plenty of room to bring your friends. One more thing I really like is you can buy the coffee they roast.I am enjoying a cup of dark roast Columbian coffee and a chocolate macaroon while soaking up the rays at Pacific Coffee Roasting Co. I love the beauty that the owner cultivates in this space!

2020-05-28Nice guy was standing at the door roasting beans. I didn’t realize they’re only open til 2 for now but he was kind enough to give me an ice coffee with a splash of milk anyway. I will definitely come again, this time before they close!

2021-04-22Great coffee. I go and get the whole bean coffee as I much prefer small batch local places over the huge chains. These guys dont burn the beans and give you full flavor. The staff is also great and knowledgeable about the coffee too. Highly recommend it.
