I sat at the bar.for a minimum of 10 minutes before I was acknowledged by either of the 2 bartenders on staff that night. Yet 3 people walked up after me and were greeted right away and served. I sat quietly and patiently.and finally I was asked by the female server info need help...i told her I wanted to order food to go and she asked if I was ordering a drink. i stated yes and after maybe 5 minutes was given a menu. I waited a minute then asked if I could order a drink. She finally took my drink order, grey goose lemondrop. I then heard me he and the other attendee speaking and he informed her they were out of one of the mixes needed to make my drink but she could substitute with something else although it would later the taste. She proceeded to make my drink without even informing or asking if the the substitution was ok...the other bartender never spoke, addressed or looked my way once while I was there. I was the only black person at the bar the entire time. And I watched as they greeted every other patron within 1 minute of walking up and serving them. Mind you, this is not my first visit at this location and I had never experienced anything of this manner of this manner in the past. I was disgusted. The customer service was horrible, but I am still human and understand the service industry can be tough. I still left a good tip, however I will not ever patronize this location again.
Took the family out to lunch for Italian and had a fabulous time. The service was spot on, the food was wonderful (okay the breadsticks are addicting) and the atmosphere was just right. One of our best dining experiences as a family and we would definitely return and recommend this location.
Absolutely loved the service and all was going well until I found a bug in our salad. I pointed it out to the server and she was apologetic and offered a new one. I declined the new salad as my appetite was a bit ruined after that. I had thought we would receive some type of discount but we weren’t offered any.*I emailed the email address listed in the response we and never received an email back. Just thought I’d share that. Seems as if they only post that they want to hear from you and don’t actually respond, not sure if others here have had a different experience but wanted to share mine
This location is a hit and miss. Some visits the service is good, and other visits the service is really bad (from the servers and hosts), even when its not busy. I worked in the food industry for years so I do try to have some empathy, but this location lacks a lot. When my family/friends want to eat at Olive Garden, we go to the Clovis location instead. Way better service there.
What a wonderful experience it was to place our phone order for curbside pickup! It was so easy, safe, and convenient. We ordered the Gnocchi Chicken Soup and Shrimp Scampi. Everything was freshly prepared and delicious! Our order was packed with care, complete with garlic breadsticks, and even a nice surprise of chocolate mints! It was my husbands birthday, so he was given a bonus Tiramisu birthday gift since he had signed up for Olive Garden Rewards. Sign up, youll be glad you did! Thank you, Olive Garden, for making my husbands birthday extra special! Well be back! 5*****!
My wife and son received their entrees before we even got our drinks and AFTER they finished their food, the waiter came to tell me that my food would be delayed because the kitchen was backed up so I asked for it to be canceled. So, I watched my whole family eat and I received no food. No manager came. the waiter did not apologize. honestly, if you want Italian food I would go to diciccos
Food is ok , nothing to go crazy about. We ordered macaroni and cheese 🧀 for a little girl and it was to dry out. It looks too old like left overs.. 😕 not a big fan of this place anyways 🙄 plus whem the hostess took us the our table bad service she not took any wear, or anything to the table , maybe because we were all Hispanic and she is a white girl.. very poor service..
Great place for food, gets you full. It was busy, but the workers were nice and pay attention. I recommend ordering ahead for pick up, always full and they are currently only outside. You can give your number and then they will call you when the table is ready. I would return again and always bring my family because of the food.
The food is what youd expect from an olive garden. The zuppa Toscana is still amazing and the chicken Alfredo was just as delicious as it has always been. I will say that the service is not as good as the Olive Garden in Clovis. We always wait forever to order drinks, food, and receive. Its almost like they forget about us when we go to this specific Olive Garden. My chicken piccata was really tough, dry and rubbery but my lasagna did taste better than the other olive gardens we have been to.
Had dinner tonight and I have to say I was very pleased. Last time our visit was close to terrible but this time was different. I think it depends on the server you get. Our server (Hayley) was very knowledgeable of the menu and helped a lot with my husband who is a vegetarian. Offered a variety of plates for him (I was shocked). She recommended appetizers, drinks, and even dessert. Food was nice and warm salad was SO fresh 10/10.
Food is delicious, but have been having order mixtures when picking up so i have to go back and wait to get it re made. I understand theyre busy but should check before giving out, not gonna be rude cause till this point theyve manage to fix without issues, theyre nice about it and professional.
Walked in at 8:45 on a Wednesday night...they are open til 10 pm with a last seating at 9:30. The hostess was not at the station and the bartender wouldnt make eye contact. I walked over to the bartender and asked if we could be seated. She said, did you want to sit at the bar? I said no, we would like a table. Another woman appeared and said okay. She took us around the corner into an empty dining room and placed the menus on a 4-top table. All the booths were empty. She walked away and I caught our waitress and asked if we could sit at a booth and she said absolutely...just pick one. Grecia was our waitress and was so accommodating in every way. She never rushed us or name us feel like we were putting her out. It was obvious that the dinner rush was gone and had been pretty busy but it was nice not to feel like we were not really welcome or appreciated. Our dinner was delicious. I was of course out of the box with my keto diet (I know, who goes to Olive Garden and cant eat the pasta) but Grecia took perfect care of me and met my every expectation serving my chicken and shrimp carbonara over broccoli instead of pasta. Everything was spot on and would come back to enjoy this dinner again in a heart beat.
The food was better than 3 stars, but the rude manager having a FaceTime conversation behind me took away a star. Which brings to mind...a question for the population...is it rude to have a phone conversation in a public place? My take is obviously, YES!Maybe others feel that a FaceTime conversation is somewhat equivalent to a normal conversation between two people...as youd hear that also...Whatdya think???The loud jazz wasnt so great either.Waitress was sweet and attentive.
OMG! This restaurant is very good. They have many different pastas to your choosing. They also serve wine and the best bread sticks I have ever tasted. Yhe best part is that that the breadsticks are endless which means you can eat as many as youd like at no extra cost. They also have wonderful and delicious soups that hit the spot right when you need it. It truly is a great place to enjoy with the family for it affordable prices.
We were seated rapidly even though they were busy. The service from Maria our waitress was fantastic. She constantly asked if there was anything that we could help us with and made sure to help order what we really wanted. She made suggestions to my Daughter who has always been a picky person. The dining area was filled and was loud so if your wanting a place quiet I would suggest that you order out from here rather then dine in. My compliments to the chef, you made a fantastic angel hair pasta, cooked evenly and not under or over cooked. The mushroom sauce was delicious with sautéed shrimp which was cooked just right. This was the right choice for my family of three for dinner. The payment was processed at our table with a small pos device which also offers games for entertainment while waiting. The food was prepared rather swiftly in about 20 minutes. Which was faster than expected due to the number of people dining-in. Over all I give this olive garden a solid 3.5 stars. Its not often I dine in but this place made me feel welcomed and comfortable. However when we arrived there was food on the ground at our table our waiter needed to remove. Also the plates she was to give us for salad needed to be switched out, which seems like a common issue from some things Ive read in reviews. Over all it would have been full 4 stars if these two things hadnt occurred.Hope you guys enjoy. As a final note the menu and the waitress mentioned alcoholic drinks, so of you like margaritas and noodles with a side salad they got it.
Restaurant is clean, food is average good, I was happy to find steak in the menu and happier that I could substitute the sides. Salad is delicious. Downgrade is always the waiting time, even if the place is empty. Took 45 min for the main course to arrive. Still, good enough.
This is the second time Ive gone recently. The experience was the same. Their soup is like water and it tastes like a can. Endless soup and salad is one of my favorite and I know what their soup normally taste like. So Im not sure why its that way. The desert was frozen solid and a big chunk of it was missing. The service was great but theres definitely a problem with getting enough hired help. This was one of my very favorite Italian places to go but definitely theres something going on
I’m giving five stars based on our server, Jenna, who was one of the best servers we’ve had in years. From the moment we sat down, she was right at our table with her perky hello. From start to finish Jenna was very attentive and served with a smile the entire time. We wondered if this was her first day, first hour, in trying to impress with her super service. But we found out this is her normal service for every table. What a joy to see a server, after all we’ve gone through with the pandemic, who has such a great attitude about her job and towards others. She made our meal a delight. This was our first time out to a restaurant in a long while, and it was a treat to be greeted and served by Jenna. What an asset she is for this Olive Garden. If I could be guaranteed to get Jenna as my server each time, I’d be going back to this Olive Garden frequently!
We were told the restaurant stayed open until 10 o’clock on Christmas Eve. I called at 6:30 and I was told the restaurant closed at eight and they were no longer accepting orders and no longer taking people into the restaurant. It might be nice if everyone on the staff had the same information instead of giving the wrong information out to customers, especially for a holiday. We will no longer frequent this restaurant.
Very disappointing. First time at West Fresno location & sad to see newer restaurant being run down. Food was eh, no kid pizzas available, chicken fingers were burnt. Waited several times for refills (server was polite though). Restrooms were a mess (seen portables cleaner that), when leaving 4 servers/hostesses chit-chatting at hostess table. No customers waiting. Told them about restrooms & no sense of urgency to clean them.
I gave them 4 stars due to our server being so good! . The food was good but not great. We as a group tried quite a few entrees and agreed the salmon by far was the best plate. The soup n salad choice is definitely worth it. Huge salad and all the soup you can eat. And nonstop bread sticks n beverage fill ups make the price worth it overall.. Give it a try..I would go again..
Came here for my birthday today, service was slow. Had to ask for water 3 times, finally got it after we were done eating dinner. They didnt give us the salad and bread until after the soup. When normally they give bread first then salad and soup together. It was all backwards. Was not happy yet again. Thought going to a different location would be different. Not sure if I want to go again. Really love the soup and salad but not worth the slow service.
Ive been going to Olive Garden since I was a kid, first going to the one in Clovis but more recently frequenting this NW Fresno location when they opened a few years ago. I like that the experience is identical no matter which one you choose to frequent. The wait time is not that bad; you cannot reserve in advance over the phone but if you show up in person, theyll take your name and number and text you when your table is ready. Our wait time was advertised as 50-60 minutes but it only ended up being about 25 minutes.Food was good, and the unlimited breadsticks and soup/salad ensure that you cannot leave hungry. My only wish is that they somehow make an outdoor patio for evening dinners in the summer.
The service at Olive Garden has really declined in recent months. This appears to be a side effect of the Coronavirus pandemic. I love this place, but the last few visits have been less than ideal. The locations in Fresno and Visalia seem to be short-staffed and untrained.Olive Garden once served their meals and appetizers in abundance. Now, they are clearly prioritizing their bottom line by greedily limiting the food they serve and resources they use. For example, I’ve noticed them using less sauce and proteins in their entrees, not serving as much soup or breadsticks (a former staple and niche of theirs), and have experienced my waiters eager to remove any excess soup or salad bowls that the customer may be eager to refill and take home. These have been my recent experiences and hopefully they can turn it around.
My father and I arrived for dinner at around 5pm in Friday 6/11/21. This was one of our first dining experiences since the pandemic and perhaps that’s why we were disturbed by how dirty our dining area was…the table had visible greasy hand smudged as did the menu/payment kiosk that sat in the table. It did not look as if either had been cleaned before we sat down, a sure fire way to spread disease. The dining experience wasn’t much better. Our appetizer arrived cold and the service was extremely slow between bowls of soup, but the soup was good.
I’ve came here a few times and each time has been great! But today I went with my fiancé and 9 month old son and it’s probably the worst service I’ve ever had out of all the restaurants we’ve ever been too. Our server was not welcoming at all and made us feel rushed like she was trying to get us out and leave. We barely saw her and when we would ask for things she would go to a table and buss it even though we had already been waiting a long time. Then she would come back after taking the dishes and ask us again what we wanted because she forgot. We ordered soup, salad, and breadsticks and we didn’t get our first soups till the END of our meal. When the salad didn’t come out I asked if it was coming and she said “you guys got salads?”. Mind you it wasn’t busy and it was the end of lunch time. We got cold plates for soup and hot plates for our salads. Whenever we would ask for things we obviously needed like refills or a bag for our food to go she would stare at us like we were the problem and inconveniencing her. I’m honestly shocked at how bad our experience was it’s almost laughable.
VERY DISAPPOINTING. Not even 5 minutes from receiving our appetizers, our entrees were served. No bread sticks, not even the salad and soup that came with dinner was served - we had to ask for this! When we asked the server why are we getting the entrees right after getting the appetizers she said they were ready. Then the original server came and asked if everything was ok, we looked at her like are you serious? So while we ate the appetizers and waited for the salad, soup, and FINALLY - the bread sticks, our entrees sat about, getting cold. No offer to bring fresh/hot entrees while the server clearly saw the backwards way our order was served as we tried to eat the soup and salad and rapidly approaching room temperature appetizers, no apology or offer to fix their mistake. Well be taking our business elsewhere as this Olive Garden location made no effort to right their wrong.
This has long been a favorite spot for me. However, last night, was the exception. After a long stressful day at work, I went to Olive Garden to have a relaxing dinner. When I arrived, the hostess asked if I would mind eating in the bar area? (Normally I decline this offer, as it is too noisy and I dont drink.) However, because I was tired, I agreed to do so. The hostess said sit anywhere you would like, I will follow you with a menu. I walked to an out of the way 1/2 booth, in the far corner of the bar and sat down. The hostess then said, Sir you cant sit at a table, you have to sit at the counter. I have a back injury, which makes getting up & down quite painful. Painful enough, that I just left Restaurant, without saying word.Obviously, Olive Garden didnt want my business, so I went home an order delivery from Diciccos. While I have never eaten at Diciccos before, I would like to thank Olive Garden for the introduction. I had a good meal in my own bed and I really enjoyed it.Thanks again, Olive Garden..
***PAY ATTENTION MANAGER***Wait staff needs Olive Garden Training. I have been here several times and each time staff just is not knowledgeable about the food or the wines. No wine sample offered. No silverware until WAY after the meal is served. Wait staff is kind with good attitude. Staff needs serious development. Food is good. Very poor training. Three employees hanging around the greeter area while wait staff is running around like chickens with their heads cut off.I live in another area and we are regular Olive Garden diners. Paid way to much for that kind of service.
Main chef had covid and still came into work mind you he touches everything. took no precautions to shut down or warn other employees, my boyfriend is now asked out of a job with covid and I am pregnant and have covid as well. serving families and children with no care in the world .
Wow..... Every time I go to this location my order is wrong. Today on Fathers Day was no exception. I ordered steak and pasta for my husband (per his meal request) and it was done incorrectly. I ordered online with a carside pick up. After realizing it was wrong it took 5 minutes to get them on the phone and an additional 30 minutes to get the pasta corrected. When it was finally brought to me, it was just the containers... no bag, no apology for the mistake or the LONG wait and nothing to make up for the mistake. (No dessert or extra breadsticks or even a coupon) I will not be wasting my time or money on this establishment anymore. We will go to DiCiccos or Mikes Pizzeria from now on when we need some Italian food.
Im glad the manager was standing right next to our table. This was the 3rd time that our meal was served prior to our appetizer even being brought out to the table. I told the manager when this happens, it makes good customers feel as though theyre getting the bums rush. The mgr took care of us, but I think some additional training of staff may need to happen.
We went for fathers day and it was great! I called ahead a told them we had a group of 8, when we got there we waited only 10 min to be seated. We waited in our car and they called us. My family felt save and they did a great job practicing social distancing. The environment was clean and the staff were friendly! We had wonderful service!
Pretty bummed about out the quality and service during our visit last week. We took our kids to dinner to celebrate my son getting an award. Service was so slow and the waiter didn’t seem to be in any kind of rush to refill our drinks or ask if we needed anything. Our appetizers were served with dinner and not freshly made, mine and my sons order was wrong so they had to remake and then it was served nearly cold. Really disappointed that we spent almost $100 on a dinner that we didn’t enjoy. When we tried to complain we were told that the manager was unavailable. It is definitely not what it used to be.
Singles, couples, groups, and Family friendly place. Full bar. They can cater to any crowd. They offer to-go called in, ordered in person, or online and do catering. However they dont do large crowd reservations. Nice place to eat whether you spent the day shopping in the area, or planned a special occasion celebration. They are reasonably priced, nice size portions. Their downfall: They change their menu a lot, so if you have a menu item favorite, it wont be around for long. Some menu items are kept almost indefinitely, but many times my family and I have eaten here over years time and removing our favorites happens repeatedly!! There waiters/waitresses are great!
First time coming to this Olive Garden and let me tell you my family and I were satisfied customers. Hailey our server was attentive, patient, gave us options and very well spoken. Our food was at perfect temperature, drinks were delicious(peach rasberry iced tea and rasberry lemonades). We never felt hurried while we decided on what to order.
This is a Good spot eat didnt have to wait more than 10 min. To get a table the waitress was very polite and helped recommending some good drinks with our meal the food was great and service was great only problem was the kiosk on the table was giving me problems when started to pay for the meal. Other than that this is a nice spot to eat its right off Herndon Ave. If you dont like to drive to much into into Fresno.
The food is amazing. Seriously, the food is so incredible youll be mad you wont have room for more. The staff is very kind and the servers are always making you feel like a king who is being wined and dined by his loyal servants. The vibe is very calm and great for a date or a nice family outing. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. If you have never been here, prepare your taste buds because you may have just found a new local favorite.
The service was good. She gave me the wrong order at first and said sorry when i told her that wasnt what i had ordered. The chicken was extra crispy and hard.It threw off the flavor of the chicken which was a big disappointment. The soup was really good so that was good.i love olive garden but i think ill go to a different location next time.
We were there right at lunchtime on a Thursday, but were seated right away. The server was friendly and attentive. The food is out of this world! Super fresh and delivered hot. Plenty of parking, even though there are several restaurants that share the parking lot. I imagine parking will be not so easy on a Friday night. We got an appetizer, two lunches, two sodas and dessert. Including the tip, the bill was $53. A little pricey. Only four stars because the ladies restroom was messy.
Initially, the smell inside the restaurant makes it seem old and greasy. However, the food was good, and the service was excellent. We had server Alex, and he was very accommodating, friendly and patient with me elderly in-laws. It was closing time on a Friday night, and one might expect a server to be pushing you to finish. Alex couldnt have been more kind to us.
GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! Candy was a GREAT GREAT server. She checked up on us various times. There was no need to ask for a refill and food was brought out early and deliciously hot. Also candy added in a little extra chocolates which was a nice little add in. Definitely deserves a raise!
Racist establishment with terrible service. My wife and I were the only ones to be seated and had to wait 15 minutes. Then other customers that came in after us were seated and their order were taken, water given and serving wear setup. The wife and I were dumfounded that we did not get service. I asked the waitress and the manager did they use the first come first serve policy before we walked out the door. We went down the block and got a beautiful lunch with great service. We will never go to this Olive Garden again!!!!
It was terrible. the food was so fantastic I almost had too much to eat. It was so good in fact that my family complained I was making LOUD SOUNDS OF PLEASURE with every bite. The waitress was way too nice and she brought our food way to soon like it was in a timely manner or something IT WAS REDICULUS. You couldnt have been more pleased In your life 😠😡🤣
Ordered the tour of Italy. Waitress asked if I wanted everything on the salad,( that comes with the meal),I requested no onions. Took 10 minutes for my sangria to arrive, then the salad another 8 minutes later, but no bread sticks,AND the salad had onions. As I was 90% done with my salad, the waitress brings my bread sticks and says well I finally brought the bread sticks.😒Seriously!?!. No apology.Best part of the tour of Italy was the pasta Alfredo. Very good. My drink had been empty for my entire meal and Im REALLY GETTING THIRSTY. Not even offered any water. I finally got another drink and water but,was so parched,I had enough. Asked for the check, and was not offered any dessert, which was fine, because I was done and couldnt leave fast enough. The waitress did box my leftovers, but left the bag on the opposite side of the table I had to stand up to barely reach it.No excuse for slow, rude service. This was at 2:00 pm, on a Wednesday, very few patrons, and both the food and servers were so embarrassingly behind. Service took FOREVER.😟I couldnt figure WHY so LONG to get the bread sticks.🤔Not sure if Ill be returning anytime soon.
I really do believe your judged by what you order in price and amount so the waiter has in there mindset wether to come and check up on you or let you be there waiting for awhile. Now no party would agree to it but if you experience this before then you know what I mean
Been to the new location twice. First time service was slow, and they didnt bring my wifes food until the very end. Decide to try it again today and once again kids got served and both my wife and I didnt until later. We had to tell our waitress that we would take it to go. Very unsatified with service. Management doesnt even come over to apologize. Horrible place to eat. Dont go to this location unless you are kid free and want to wait forever for your food. Got seated at 8:00. Walked out with food to go at 9:20.
I wasnt really in the greatest of moods when my family and I went to eat Sunday night 10/28/18, but thanks to the great food and good service we received it really helped a lot. Everyone we encountered showed good professionalism, when they saw I wasnt happy with the first seating arrangement they were quick to accommodate us. Olive Garden is one of my favorite places so I was hoping to enjoy myself and I did. Our server Robert M (Im referring to the name on my receipt so I hope its the right guy) was the coolest, he made our experience a nice one. We will most certainly be back!
Not worth the money. Slow service and extremely overpriced. Every time we give this location another chance we leave disappointed. Our waitress tried hard but was still really slow. The hostesses do weird things like sit our family of four at a really small table and then sit a party of two at a roomy booth. Chairs are uncomfortable too even my 11 year old complained. Dont order unlimited pasta bowls...you just have to wait 15 minutes between each one. Wont be going back.
Mike the store manage was a life saver tonight great experience and we were having such a great night I forgot my phone I cant say enough how grateful to his amazing staff and him for helping me get back my phone but it was so relaxing staff was friendly and we were there for awhile just enjoying the night never felt rushed and staff was always on it amazing job all around 😊
Just this past weekend I got to spend my anniversary with my wife and our two kids. During our quarantine we tried to make it special. Oliver garden is definitely our go to and we ordered take out and brought it home to make our special evening better. The staff at Oliver garden through this quarantine has been amazing and knowing about us spending our anniversary with an amazing meal from them made it even more special with a surprise. They went above and beyond and we enjoyed the delicious food as did our children.
The food and the service both could have been better at this Olive Garden. There were 4 people in our party and our food came out at different times. We also placed 3 orders to go while we were having dinner and those orders were never actually entered in their system so we had to wait for them to be prepared before we could leave, which took an extra 20min.
Havent come here in a long time...I received a couple of gift cards for my birthday so we decided to use one one day we came into town to do our shopping. A couple of things....For starters, they offer outdoor dining which is great if you want to sit down and eat. The only problem is temperature is dropping due to winter is around the corner. We had dinner about 6pm ordered soup and hot tea but it was still too cold out there they really need to invest in some outdoor heat lamps as temperatures continue to decrease.Next, it is dark in the evening they need to put some candles on the tables or have additional lighting. We were seated in between the buildings at the very last table it was just too darkThe food was ok. Its just about what I remember from the last time I ate there years ago. its fine if you arent a big food critic , great if youre a really hungry person that likes ordering endless dishes. Im a picky foodie, I would rather make italian food at home.Taking into consideration the food and the weather, my biggest pet peeve is customer service. I ordered a pepperoni pizza light on the sauce for my 8 year old. My husband and I had already had our salad, our soup, and had ordered another round of soup and she still hadnt gotten her pizza. When it arrived, what we got was a cheese pizza with extra cheese. So it had to go back so the kitchen could broil the pepperoni on it after they offered it on the side.I understand what kind of food you are getting at a restaurant that serves endless dishes so Im not really mad about that, but when you dont have a lot of seated customers there is just really not a lot of excuse to have the kid seated waiting for food while the adults have already eaten. The only saving grace was that my daughter really loved the chocolate mousse dolcinis. They should serve that in a slightly larger serving I would not mind paying more for that.
Excellent experience. First time visiting this location. Amazing service. Our waiter Jeremy O. Was awesome. Made us feel right at home. Thats what people look for In The comfort of eating out. I only hope that you get to experience his hospitality when you visit. You wont be disappointed. The food was also Delish!!!
First time at this newer Fresno location, I ordered online and picked up after work. My food was ready as soon as I got to the pick up counter, friendly service. Pretty standard Olive Garden, pretty big inside. I had the Tour of Italy (shared with another person) it was awesome! If you like Olive Garden this one is worth the little drive up the 99, Im sure it doesnt get as crowded as the one on Shaw in Clovis.
Im incredibly disappointed. To make it easy and enjoy a nice meal for Mothers Day I ordered the Take And Bake Shells family meal along with 2 extra entrees. I ordered everything Sat afternoon (a day early) for pick up at 5:00 pm on Sunday to allow for baking time and a nice evening dinner. My husband went to pick up the meal and arrived at 5:08 in the red truck listed as the pick up vehicle. He was told things were behind and it would be a 20-30 min wait. That could have been manageable. BUT instead my husband had to wait 1 hr 30 mins for our TAKE and BAKE order, which I now have 45 mins of cook time before we can eat dinner. To say Im disappointed is an understatement. All that was done, after my husband had to get out of his truck and get someone in the restaurant to help his, was get told oh sorry, were busy Thanks for ruining my Mothers Day dinner Olive Garden. I hope the staff there manage to get themselves organized in a better fashion. I can tell you we will not be back during this pick up only timeframe as I have no trust in your timeliness nor ability to acknowledge customers waiting.
So service is good very few mistakes respectful manners. Drinks came out fine however the food was served cold so if you order the pasta at this location its a 50/50 chance you will get cold pasta or hot pasta. Soups salads everything else is fine pastas I dont recommend.
My wife, 4 kids, a friend, and I got there just before a rush. We got seated in a timely manner and the waitress was really accommodating to our kids orders. The kitchen got backed so our food didnt come out for over an hour but the manager and waitress were very apologetic and took care of us so it was a great experience! Definitely will continue to go back in the future!
I eat at the Olive Garden at the Herndon and 99 location fairly regularly and for the most part get good service, but that wasnt the case today! The table to the left was sat 5 minutes after us but received their drinks, bread sticks, place settings and salad before us. It was the same server. We recived our soup lukewarm. My sons meal was prepared wrong( they did fix it but waited for some time longer). Server asked me if I wanted more soup took my bowl and didnt return. Got tired of waiting so we paid and left.
The experience my family had today was very disappointing. For a family of 4, I was told a wait of 15 to 20 mins. It was not busy. They had plenty of staff working. We waited, the host seemed to be only seating parties of 2 & 3. Which makes sense. But then they started seating g parties of 4. So I was hoping my family would be seated soon. Nope, At 1 point, we were the only 1s waiting. 2 families of 4 came in. They were told a wait of 20 to 15 mins. But were actually seated within 5 mins of waiting. They skipped us yet again!!!! So finally I told the manager that we have been waiting to be seated. She did not seem to care. She proceeded to seat a couple who just walked in as I was making my complaint To her. We walked out.
It was a nice place to eat dinner. Food good as usual. Wish the employees would acknowledge you a little better when you say high to everyone when you walk on. 3 employees and 1 acknowledges you while the other two keep their heads down too engrossed into their seating menu they were trying to get straight. I know they werent the person seating us but the other two should aclnowledge the customers who come in while they are at the front. They are the face of the restaurant at that point.
This location SUCKS. My advice is that you make the drive to the Clovis location. My family of five went here for a special occasion and they completely forgot to make my sons meal. Then they expected us to eat in front of our seven year old son, who was also very hungry, while they made his food. The waitress was rude about it, as though it was our fault that the food was not made. The only good thing that happened was that they didnt make us pay for anything but it completely ruined our evening. And we didnt take or eat anything since our food was cold by the time his food arrived 15 minutes later. We just left and drove across the parking lot to Dickeys and had better service and everyone got their food at the same time.
Be prepared to wait for your table but the upside would be you get wine 50% off while you wait to be seated. This location is a pristine new build with a quaint seating arrangement. The staff was very friendly and explained the dishes very well. Our food arrived within a reasonable time. The pesto and traditional sauce were both tasty and . Pricing is reasonable and parking is free!
First bad experience at my favorite restaurant. Tried ordering the eat 1 take 1 and was told i cant get 2 items with meat. After my friends and i finished are meals and went up to pay, they said i can have both items with meat. No thx. The smoothie looking margarita was all i had. It was good.
They were extremely busy. The waitress that had our table also had a party of 14 and another table. My opinion she should not have three tables when one was 14 people. She did as good as she could. We felt neglected. My chicken scampi was dry. I am sure they will get better as the newness wares off and everyone learns.
Was having the worst day possible, and ordered take out. Picked it up, came home without looking at it and one of the entres had spilled out! So I called and went back to try and get a replacement and the employee Jose was super nice! Honestly it made my entire bad day disappear. Best service possible in my opinion. Would 100% recommend!
They gave us menus then and forgot about us . Sat there for 30 mins. trying to get someone attention . Finally the waitress that took the table next to us I got her attention and told her . She found our waitress , are waitress didnt seem happy about waiting on us at all. We hurried up and ordered because we didnt want to be forgotten again . The bread was stale . The salad was very good . My raspberry lemonade was horrible tasted like favored water . My son loves meatballs and so do I . He gave me a bit of his meatball it was cold on the inside . gross ! I order the stuff shells with shrimp on top . For some reason they put tomatoes on top instead of the marinating sauce , not sure if that was suppose to be like that but didnt like that . Not a happy person after I left . disappoint because I used to love olive garden 😣
The service is good, I had the triple and it was hot but everything was dry, I ordered extra sauce to do my dry food into so I did not have to return it. It does not smell like delicious food inside, they should replace all carpeting with hard flooring to get rid of the odor.
Bria, the hostess. Rude. A husband wakes staring his wife was already here and she blankly stared at him and said okay? And let him find her on his own. She sat us at the bar area I asked for a different table and she smiled at me and said no. When asked if we could wait for a different table she said no and laughed and when I asked to speak to a manager she just stared at me blankly. You mean to tell me we arent allowed to wait? For a different table? She then walked away and began to gossip to her peers about what I asked for and then began to get stared from the other hostess.. other than that the server Jeremy was very attentive and friendly, food good as always. I rather make the 30min drive to the clovis location where the hostess are much more friendlier
When I first walked into this restaurant I was not greeted with a warm welcome instead people were busy looking at menus and organizing their stand and then they finally looked at me and said what can I help you with but it wasnt a sweet hello it was more of a I was bothering them with my presence. It was just odd to me because my father had gotten a table before we had gotten there and he said that they were very polite and friendly to him so I dont know if its just because Im younger but the customer service should be evenly distributed no matter what age the person is. When we sat down we were instantly greeted by our server which was great! We had ordered an appetizer of the stuffed mushrooms and fried mozzarella sticks the portion of the appetizer was ridiculously small for the price and when we had ordered five different meals for the main course everyone at my table had received their meal except for me. My mother had to go and ask the server after waiting 15 minutes for my food where my meal was at since everyone was already almost finished eating. We waited an extra 12 minutes and weve had to ask another server if he could please help us figure out what was taking so long for my meal. Finally our waitress came to our table and asked us if we needed something and we told her that I still havent received my meal after waiting 27 minutes she instantly walked back and came back with my plate that was almost cold because it was sitting out for so long so I dont know if she just forgot my plate but that is something that needs Improvement as well, everyone at the table should be getting there food at the same time or if they have to wait an extra 5 minutes at least be told it will be 5 more minutes. Overall the quality of the food and the portions were not worth the price I dont know if its because this is a brand new restaurant that opened but this area compared to the Clovis one is not good at all so hopefully within the next few months if I decide to go back to give another shot I can change my review but as of right now I do not recommend eating there or wasting money. Also if someone that is working there is reading this I just wanted to be honest about the temperature of the restaurant it was extremely cold in there and I normally dont get cold easily but it made it very uncomfortable to enjoy anything because all I could think about was how cold and uncomfortable I was and how I wish I would have brought a jacket inside so if you guys could figure out a reasonable temperature for the restaurant besides I see winter cold that would be greatly appreciated, as i was not the only one who was cold as well.
Arman was very quick, friendly and hilarious! He made my birthday dinner a very pleasant experience with great service and without the embarrassing birthday song. I appreciate that we were not rushed even though we were a big party and there pretty much past closing. Very enjoyable night.
The people were nice enough, a little forgetful. Not much to say about the food, it was the mediocre Olive Garden food that youd expect to get at any Olive Garden. We were seated fairly quickly but werent given silverware until we asked for some. Everything felt a little rushed; the appetizers came out and four minutes later the salad and about 8 minutes later the entrees. The waitress was very nice and cleared everything as we got done; but it wasnt so much for service as it was to get more tables ready. Again, kind of felt rushed, a little like an assembly line. All in all a pretty average experience and same goes for the food.
Visited shortly after this location opened. Wife and I were very satisfied with the food, service and money we spent. Restaurant has a bar with capable bartenders. Food was delicious but not the best Italian restaurant weve been to. Also not as busy as Clovis location. Location also has more parking and other stores around it.
The waitress was awesome! She gave us a peach tea (which you must try) while we waited for our to go meal!. The lunch deals are pretty awesome pasta and soup with a couple breadsticks... perfect and so good! I had the Toscano soup for the first time and it was delicious!
This place is good to eat. We arrived around 4:45 on a Thursday and didnt have to wait. We didnt realize you can get a cheaper price before 5:00. Our waiter was taking an order for another table and didnt get to us until a little after 5 and still honored the price before 5:00. The food was good and hot.
We finally got the chance to try this Olive Garden, and Im so happy to say we had the best service and server, her name is Sheila. We also the noticed the other servers were also pleasant to their customers. The food, service and the atmosphere met all our expectations. Cant wait to go again.
Really friendly service, also very fast. I like the atmosphere a lot. The food was your run of the mill Olive garden food. I almost forgot how much I love their salad. My only complaint would be that the appetizer shrimp scampi was not that great, it was basically breaded fried small shrimp.
It was my first time there and I went for my birthday. The waiter made me and my mother feel uncomfortable. The breadsticks werent as good as we thought and the chicken alfredo wasnt so good either. Neither was the salad the dressing made the salad nasty. The waiter took a long time to just bring drinks. The waiter paid more attention to the other people and was quick for them. Not going back.
I had a horrible experience today. I’ve been to this Olive Garden a few times and always have had a pleasent experience until today. We checked in and waited for about 15-20 min until our party was seated . Our host sat us down we waited patiently for our server to get our drink order which never happened. We waited about 20 min and nobody acnolaged us i honestly dont even know who are server was i saw a few workers helping other people, people that arrived after us. After being ignored we finally walked out , i told the host that sat us down that noone came to take our order. I told him to fwd the message to his manager as i did not want to waste anymore time there. I will never come back nor do I recommend this place.
From the first moment you arrive in that place the personel give you an enjoyable feeling. Very hospitable hosts, it is a lovely restaurant to go out with your friends or with your date. delightful food, qualified chief cook and stuff, honest price and generous service. Highly recommended.
There was a split shift between the waitresses. The second waitress we had had a cold and wouldnt stop couging.Took about two hours to get out of there. We didnt even eat that much. Our orders werent that much/heavy.Slow service.Never again. DiCiccos was better. And they suck!!
Food was good. But, not happy that our meal was rushed. We barely got a chance to eat our salad before our meal arrived. We only had roughly five minutes to eat our salad. Plus the salad was mostly lettuce. And, they seated four of us and a baby in a highchair at a tiny table.
I never have anything bad to say about the soup salad and bread sticks. The get a 5 star rating. This time I tried the Chicken Marsala. I expected a bigger portion for $20 plate. The chicken breasts was very small the portion of mash potatoes was bigger. The flavor.was good but kinda disappointed I paid 20 for a plate of.mostlt mash potatoes.
TERRIBLE everything.I am feeling super sick from eating there.Service was horrible kept trying to give us and other tables around us stuff we didnt order then would fight you like you were stupid and try to get you to eat it. I’ll bring the right one next time. Had to keep asking for refills but only got one.Charged me $5 dollars to add chicken but only gave me like two pieces like literally maybe the equivalent of two chicken nuggets. If I would have known I wouldn’t have got it.This wasn’t just my table but the ones around us. She literally told a lady who they brought the wrong soup to just eat it and we will bring the right one next time. You cannot do that. Then brought the girl next to us the wrong dessert 3 times. Then started getting upset with her like she should have just ate what they gave her.I will not be coming back. A manager should have came out to all our tables when he heard everyone complaining and fixed the issues but no one did.I also had to ask at least 4 times for them to come sing happy birthday to my friend.

2022-07-10Nearly exploded from happiness when I went here. This place gets extra points from me because Leo works there and Leo is a cool dude. But seriously. Laid-back and patient employees. Clean and crisp environment. Free water. With the free water, I got free breadsticks. The man refilled my water 3 times with a smile on his face. Bathroom isnt nasty. Would come back for more free water and toasted ravioli. Please hire me Olive Garden. 😘🥰👀

2022-05-02Would have been 5 stars however looking at a dirty table sit for 45min wasnt pleasant and I doubt the patrons they sat right next to it werent happy either as they ate and left rather quickly . Also our first waitress was very forgetful and inattentive for example asked 3x for napkins and was served appetizers with no silverware or napkins had to get up and retrieve our own , there were a few other issues but didnt sour our mood as we were there for a birthday and they were kind enough to put our cake in the fridge while we ate. The food was great I had chicken and shrimp carbonara portion was huge especially after soup and bread sticks .over all great place will definitely go back as its a favorit

2022-05-17Went here and noticed that the silverware was dirty after we alerted our waiter of this she brought new silverware that was just as dirty as the previous silverware. Waiter and manager had a nasty attitude and when part of my party asked to cancel their orders because it had been 30 plus minutes since we ordered the waiter canceled everyones food. I used to love Olive Garden but this by far was my worst experience at the restaurant.

2021-09-14Holy Jesus I don’t think words can describe how good the services/food was. The server was a very friendly lady named “Jenna” who was extremely nice to my whole family. The food was also perfect as showed in the picture, the seats were a little scuffed up but not bad, the bathrooms were fairly clean as well.

2021-10-03Food was relatively good..however when we recieved our plates for the salad they were dirty and we had to get them replaced and on top of that we asked for lemonade and our cups were extremely dirty on the inside something brown was stuck to the walls of the inside of the cup...so we began to scrape along the wall of the cup and that brown stuff began floating in our drinks...so we asked for new drinks and the same thing happen...so we just got the drinks placed in to go cups...there furniture for seating is old and should be thrown out and replaced with new ones....our server was polite so we gave a 2.00 tip but he didnt pay attention to the dirty plates and cups that were brought out to us so that was disappointing..our first batch of breadsticks were very good however our 2nd batch was beyond salty.. The carpet had not been cleaned up from previous customers...all in all they need to be a whole lot cleaner...just filthy
