Friendly staff, took a bit to get a glass of water. Had to ask for service. We were greeted when we walked in, but not at bar area. We sat for about 10 min got served and it was not even crowded. At least the waiter was friendly. Clean location, soup and salad good, the dishes were very good. All in all very nice.
I eat here a few times a year. Everytime I do I receive great service and delicious food. Shout out to Arturo and Seth my past two servers who were informative on the drink and food selections, friendly plus they both serviced the table frequently. The pics of my food hardly convey how delicious they were.
Our server Ellas was wonderful, appropriately attentive, efficient, friendly, and accommodating. We had the Shrimp Misto appetizer, all you can eat soup & salad. I had just a sm. bit of the Misto, and 1 bowl of Zuppa. The restaurant was clean. All of the staff were polite and efficient.
This place has the most exquisite decor! Very romantic and classy vibes. They treat you like family and have the BEST breadsticks. Not only do they have a huge wine selection, they also have a wide variety of other yummy beverages including Italian sodas, sangria, and so much more. They offer kids meals as well which makes it even better for family get-togethers and celebrations. Their amazing pasta selections are absolutely remarkable!! I highly recommend dining here, youll be so glad you did!P.s. If you havent had their gnocchi soup, please put it on your bucket list!!!
Ugh, went to dinner last night for a friends birthday. Found hair in my food, it was disgusting. Lost my appetite whatsoever! I am so disappointed because I have always gone to Olive Garden and this experience was horrible! Save your money and go someplace else because you will find hair in your food. Chefs in the back needs to wear hairnets or nets for your facial hair.
Never a disappointment. The owner is a true , and I adore him. The service is top notch, food is excellent and service is always prompt. Yes! I got cold hard breadsticks and really bad salad this last visit but Ive gone 100 times and never had this trouble. Im giving them 5 starts based on my average visit.
Havent been to olive garden in probably 15 years before my visit here, but it was just as I remembered. The food, service, and overall experience was a solid 4 star. Its olive garden after all. Nothing to write home about, but it is and always has been a solid place to get a decent meal at a decent price.
4-6-19 - The service was great today. I had one of the specials they had, chicken parmigiana (chicken was literally about 12 inches long), and my husband had the streak and Alfredo. I tasted the steak and the seasonings were nothing to die for but was good but the chicken was great. Service was wonderful and the waitress/server (Amanda) made sure we had a free dessert to share for our anniversary. For an appetizer, we had the loaded pasta chips. They were pretty good as well. Kinda larger than I expected, could have used that as a dinner plate lol.
The other day I ordered a togo order they took long to come check the curbside pick up so my boyfriend had to go down and get it and we got our food and the pastas were so dry it barely had any sauce on both of them. All you could taste was the dry noodles and chicken:/
Friendly staff. Good service. Breadsticks were cold and hard. Gnocchi chicken soup had 2 pieces of gnocchi and 3 pieces of small chicken not worth the price. I didnt take a picture of my pasta but the meat spaghetti was good. My sons pizza was ok. Atmosphere is good for families and the restaurant is very clean. Food isnt amazing but decent for a quick lunch.
Used to love going to Olive Garden. Due to Covid, hadnt been there for awhile. Nothing like it was before. My peach tea, no longer contain peaches, and they are flavoring it differently than they used to. The usual delicious trademark breadsticks were actually crunchy, and a bit chewy. Even the lasagna and parm. Chicken were dry, and the fettuccine Alfredo was dry, with very little sauce on it, just a pile of dry noodles. I doubt that any of the 3 couples that dined with us, will be back any time soon. At least they didnt change my favorite soup. I put my entire dinner in a to-go container, and took it home for some much needed additional sauce & cheese.
The food was not prepared at all...Im wondering if it violates health protocol. Took forever to get my food. They were out of 1/4 of what their menu provides. I ordered a side of Alfredo...it was crusted when it came to the table. The restaurant claims to have unlimited breadsticks...we got 4 the whole time. The lettuce for the salad...should not have even been taken out. The toppings for the salad, somehow they were out of everything except pepperchinis. If you love your family do not ever take them here.
The food here is really good, although kind of rich. Olive Garden is fairly pricey, but it is a nicer restaurant, and the plates are big. I reccomend getting a bigger meal (like a $17-$20 meal) and splitting it with someone. I recently split the Tour of Italy with a friend, and with salad, we both ended up taking home leftovers. The drinks are also amazing!! I cant remember what quite it was, but it was like a sparkling stawberry lemonade, with I think passionfruit in it, maybe? Anyway, it was really good, and we all had a ton of fun playing trivia, it was a great night.
Not the quality Ive come to expect from Olive Garden. My Shrimp Scampi pasta was basically a seasoned bowl of angel hair with only a couple of shrimp and very little veggies. The bits of asparagus that were there were woody and hard. The bread sticks were not fresh, they were stale and hard.
Hands down had the worst meal I have ever had at Olive Garden tonight. Ordered the shrimp scampi which is $20.50 on the menu. The pasta had a sticky, gummy texture with none of the garlic sauce listed on their dish description. The shrimp were brown on one side as if they had been left in the pan too long. When I brought it to the attention of the manager that I was disappointed with the dish I just received excuses. I was offered another dish but we had already waited over an hour for our meals and the restaurant wasnt even busy so I didnt want to wait again. Didnt even offer to comp. Overpriced disappointing meal. Will not be going back anytime in the future.
We had the never ending soup, salad and breadsticks. They had 4 choices of soup, I tried 3 they were all delicious! Of course salad and breadsticks were great also. Love how they put fresh parmesan on it all. Waitress was very good, right there as we emptied our bowls to give us another. Just missed the $9.99 lunch special but was still worth the $12.99. Will definately return for this again.
The worst Olive Garden experience I’ve ever had. An hour and a half wait for food is unacceptable! What everyone did get was not up to par. They were out of steak, ran out of Alfredo, Burnt shrimp, weird Alfredo sauce that was all separated. Overall a horrible experience don’t know that I will go back.
There staff is always friendly, the appetizers are good and decently priced, and its clean, soup and salad are great but thats about all they have going for them. The prices of the entrees have gone up, but quality has gone down. My son had the linguini demore and it tasted like just tomato sauce with some oregano. My husband and I shared the lobster stuffed ravioli, but it was dry and pasty. Did not taste like lobster, the sauce was okay, but a bit too sweet. Lets put it this way, we didnt completely finish our meals and we didnt want to take the leftovers home.
Sat at the bar to watch the football game. Had an appetizer, entrée, and dessert all spread out with 3 drinks over an hour and a half or more. They said I would need manager approval for another drink. I never spoke a word to anyone as the bar was empty. Now I know why. You can’t actually drink at this bar or watch a full game.
I took some family out for dinner at Olive Garden in Chico California. There were 6 adults and 2 children. We were seated in app. 20 minutes to a table with no napkins or silverware. Soon drinks and breadsticks arrived and we ordered and asked for napkins and silverware. The breadsticks were covered in melted butter and while taking good they covered our fingers with melted butter. Once again we asked for napkins and silverware. 10 minutes later our soup and salads showed up. The three that ordered soup could eat because each bowl contained a spoon. We who ordered salad could sit and look at it or use our hands to eat. After another 2 or 3 minutes a waiter came by and informed us that they were out of forks. At this I went looking for the manager. When I found him I had to wait for 4 minutes while he talked on the phone. I explained that we had been served food but had no napkins or silverware. He apologized and said he would immediately take care of this. He said it was unacceptable about 5 minutes later a waitress showed up with the missing items. Eventually our food arrived, it had been sitting under heat lamps for quite some time and was not what we were used to at Olive Garden. Through all of this we had a good time visiting and I was glad to leave a 20% tip for the waitress as she was not responsible for the lack of napkins and silverware. I dont know what was wrong last night but I will be prudent in the near future and select other restaurants for dinning out.
It was very dead and it took forever for our food to show up. We ended up filling up on bread and soup waiting for our main dishes, and then boxed them up to go home instead when they were finally ready. The staff was nice and attentive, but they dont seem to flow with eachother or cooperate fluidly, or even really communicate with one another.
It was our waitress first nightShe was good. But the drinks and food took a long time. The bar took an hour plus, they didnt have any clean bread plates and our salad was served in soup bowls. The waitress has no control of over those. They shouldnt put a waitress by herself to wait on customers.
Worst service ever!! First we were told the wait would be 20-25 minutes. We waited 45 minutes to be seated! No breadsticks were brought with the saladOur waiter kept forgetting to bring my wine and more salad. He didnt bring my wine till the end of the meal. I ordered soup and salad - never ending- but I only got one of each. My husbands meal - Tour of Italy- was great. But they were extremely short staffed and apparently the bartender disappeared for a while. Good thing I ordered a 9 oz. glass of wine!
I am beyond disappointed with this location at this point. I am currently in Chico California for work and have been here the last few months. That being said I have had the chance to eat at this location around 4 times and it has definitely been more bad than good. First the bread sticks are always hard as a rock, so unless you soak them in a soup you cant eat them. Secondly there seems to always be something wrong with my order, something missing, wrong, or you order online and dont find out until you show up that what you ordered is not available. Thirdly 2 out of the 4 times the food has been below standard. The Ziti I ordered last night had most of the past dried out. None of the cheese was melted and so there was this gross hard top of dried cheeses and seasonings that made the whole bowl unappealing to eat. Fourth and final the bowl of chicken gnocchi I ordered had no and I mean absolutely no dumplings in it. So I had a few pieces of chicken and no gnocchi. I love Olive Garden and eat there alot back at home in Florida, which is why its so disappointing that this locations seems to fail more than fly.
I used to love the Olive Garden. However, my memories from over a decade ago seem to be much rosier than reality. Yes they still have unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks, but I think Ive outgrown the attraction of all-you-can-eat. Quality matters to me now too. While their chicken parmigiana was pretty good, their lasagna was pretty inedible - dry and unappetizing. Sorry Olive Garden, I think its time to bid each other farewell.
Didn’t eat a single thing all day and had Olive Garden for dinner. An hour after eating it I started vomiting and profusely sweating and feeling sick for hours after. I called to complain and they told me there was no way to prove that their food made me sick and therefore couldn’t offer any compensation. Manager was incredibly rude. What kind of company doesn’t believe a customer. In the managers word “we check all our food for quality and make sure everything is cooked perfectly so she couldn’t have gotten sick from it” what company has a policy to not believe their customers and tell them basically they are always perfect so you can’t ever have an issue with the food.
Its a good spot to kill time and the food is decent. They usually have a wait time before you get a table and they take a while to bring your food so its a great place to hang a have a beer while you wait if you have a partner to chat it up with. If you want something quick your better off looking elsewhere.
I had a wonderful server who was also very kind. An elder came in to have lunch and she ordered the soup. She was having a rough day. I tried to be sneaky and pay for her lunch but the server beat me to it. Kindness goes a long way. I made sure his tip was ample. Props to the server who shows kindness to everyone they encounter!
This place is certainly one of the tastiest place in the neighborhood. Every time I come to this place I am truly glad. They always keep their high standard service and the highest level of cooking they serve. You can never go wrong with this restaurant. Highly recommended.
We were there a half hour before our order got taken, they ran out of dressing for the unlimited salads, we decided we didnt want salad an they refused compinsation when all we asked for was a small side of sauce with our bread sticks. It took an hour for us to recieve a childs lemonade we walked out without eating. Worst service ive experienced by far.
We came to this spot for dinner. This place was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very successful. The staff welcomed us with a smile and we had a fantastic feeling. The food was just great. We had a great time and we will visit this place again. we highly recommend this place.
Since Covid-19, customer service seems to have disappeared here. Ive been to this Olive Garden a few times this past year(I use to go all the time) but recently, it truly feels like the staff use Covid as an excuse to not care about customers!Anytime an issue arises, no matter how small the complaint, it immediately feels like its them(staff) against us(customers). Like letting them know you only had one Gnocchi in your soup, is met with well its only supposed to have 2 in it anyway! Like ok, but its all you can eat soup, so instead of saying that to the customer, maybe just give them a bowl with 3 or 4 Gnocchs in it, instead of wasting 4 bowls of soup that they barely eat!! This place SUCKS now! The management here is setting such a bad pressident!
Our first time out to a restaurant since covid closures. Sad to say, that things have gone drastically down hill. The bread was cold and stale, the soup was just ok, and the salad was also just okWe asked our server for more dressing and that helped. Perhaps my memories and expectations were over blown.Edited: OG sent us a certificate for a do over. That went a long way with us and well take them up on their offer. Thanks!
The online reservation system is pointless. I tried it, got to the restaurant, they texted I was second in line. After half hour and watching a dozen parties get seated, I was told the online line was not the same as walk-ins. It was 105 degrees out, too crowded to wait inside. Thats why I wanted a reservation.
Solid menu, always has the basic dishes with predictable taste and texture. Service is top notch, any time we have an issue they correct it on the spot. Nice seasonal rotation of specials, I especially like the all you can eat pasta. Good parking, sometimes they have a wait to get a table. Clean appearance, fast delivery. I am not a big fan of the bread, it is just Okay.
Mine u its still this dam Pandamic and raining up a storm. The weight was 45 I 60 mins, thats sitting in car or leave and come back. Got my Text came right in waited for table to b disinfected. Waited for others to come in, waited for waitress, waited to order, get my point. There at 7pm sat at 8.38 serviced at 9.37 . The staff is friendly , food good and lots of it, price with in reason. Just be ready to waite.
Ordered salad and wanted more but they pretended to not have any more as it was after closing time. The waitress actually was preparing it and was surprised at the managers request for us to leave. She packed it for us to go. Her tip was good but the manager needs some skills in customer handling. Rest of Chico experience was great. We played at the Chico World Music Festival to a packed crowd!
Delicious food, great curbside service if youre missing those classic breadstick and salad flavors accompanied by your favorite Olive Garden meal, this is the way to go. Seamless on line ordering, along with the usual LARGE portion size, I recommend this establishment.👍😷
Not for big groupsI visited olive Garden on Chico a second time this time only with my wife. This time late night the food was delicious. We try 2 desserts: a very well made tiramisu. An a chocolate one suggested by the waiter, REALLY GOOD.The first one wasnt remarkable. Probably because we were a big group. On a busy time. The food wasnt hot enough. So this second visit improved my evaluation from 3 to 4⭐ .I still find it a little expensive but the food is very good. Just avoid the rush hour and the big groups
Food taste and quality was lackluster, seems to be getting worse every time I decide to go there. Server was attentive and great though. Family was visiting for the day and wanted to eat. Figured Olive garden was a familiar place. Everyone felt a bit quesy after. Will pass on Olive garden the next time its an option in favor of a non-franchised, local eatery. I find that I spend the same amount but get much better quality food.
The food was great! Elizabeth was out server and she was terrific and very, but not overly, attentive. We were seated immediately and were placed in a quiet section where we were alone through most of our meal. We received our food quickly and hot. The Lobster Ravioli rocks! I know that perfect experiences like that dont happen often enough, but they nailed it tonight! Great job guys!
The waitress at our table and the meal were both beyond expectations! I have neverexperienced a problem with either of those two things at any Olive Garden. My only Issue on this visit to Chico was with our seating. I am disabled and walk with a cane. For some reason, the hostess sat us at a very small two top angled awkwardly at the entrance into a side dining room. My friend, a tall man, had to squeeze into his seat. My seat had the chair back making a very tight angle from the table to the already angled wall, so that u could not actually pull the chair out to sit without blocking the entrance to the room. I eventually did manage to get my paralyzed leg and cane out of the way, but sat the entire meal with trays being brought over my head because I was still partially in the doorway. Bad seating arrangement, Olive Garden. And poor placement of a disabled person!
My friend and I are fans of this place for lunch cause you can sit and talk and really have privacy. We like to take our time and enjoy our time together without feeling that they need our table for someone else. The food is great and consistent. The take home food is always done well too.
I love the food at the Olive Garden. However you are slipping. Lately bread is coming to the table crunchy and cold. For the price of your pasta, and lets remember this pasta NOT lobster or steak, you should be on point. I do not want to spend 60 on dinner for two and receive cold soup or old bread.
Didnt even want to give 1 star....my daughter wanted her birthday dinner there, so we went....food was very tasteless...our table of 9 did not get our meals together, which made the food we did get cold as we waited and waited for others to get their food...once we got our bill, it took them almost an hour to figure whos was what....still forced to pay 18% gratuity, still charged us a corking fee, even tho WE opened our bottle...there was no compensation for a loser night at Olive Garden....$98 for 3 people(2 adults and 1 child) on overrated food... definitely was our last night there....EVER!!!....

2022-03-06Chicken Marsala was delicious. Salad was nice and fresh. I was a little disappointed by the breadsticks. None of the three baskets we got were soft and warm. They were busy but our server did a fantastic job.

2022-07-14Not a good time at all. The waitress took awhile for everything even though it was a busy time at all. Everything from the water to the entree tasted bad. definitely would not recommend this place.

2022-03-17A great menu. The soup is excellent. I had a veggie meatball soup of some sort. My Shrimp Scampi was delicious. My girlfriend enjoyed her Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo. Her salad was a family style portion served with tongs. The portions are very generous all around. The service was excellent, speedy and efficient. We had at least four different people visit our table, each of them providing quick and efficient service, ensuring we were never lacking and everything seemed to arrive as quickly as possible.

2021-04-08Some day I will remember to take a picture before we start eating. We had the best service!!. The food was fantastic. Dont forget to have the soups. Soup was so good we had seconds. We wanted more but then we would have been to full to eat the main dish.

2022-03-25Always a great experience every time. My family and I were seating quickly, and were given a great table with a high chair for baby girl 🙏🏽👶🏼 best part is, we had a phenomenal server who was very polite and prompt with us throughout our entire meal. Always enjoy coming to our favorite restaurant in Chico, and glad our little one was accommodated just as much as we have been before she was born 😁. Thank you Olive Garden Chico your the best!

2022-07-099:15 pm soup and salad dinner took an hour and 20 minutes. Extremely slow service on a slow Friday night. Think the locals know something we didnt.

2022-05-23The food was delicious, the wait was appropriate and everyone left happy and full.Just make sure you have the money to spend 20 bucks per entree. If you know what youre spending when you go there, you know if its worth it or not.

2022-04-09Amazing Italian food and the best waiter Ive had in years! Arturo reminds you why you go out to dinner rather than take it home. Had a wonderful time celebrating my mother in laws birthday in large part to Arturos superior customer service

2022-05-19We went to Olive Garden to celebrate my daughters birthday. We havent eaten out often since the covid lockdown. But, the meal here was great! Great food, great service, and happy we went there!
