[STRING QUARTET]My husband and I were so happy with the Ocdamia Music Group! We had a piano, violin, viola, and cello in our quartet--all very professional. We had a friend of ours arrange some of our favorite videogame pieces for our ceremony, which Margie sent to the musicians as soon as we sent them to her. The Ocdamia Music Group was able to perform amazingly! Aside from our specifically requested songs, they have a wide genre you can choose from in their library! Would definitely have OMG in other future events![Wedding Live Saxophone Player]Jason was AMAZING and definitely a guest favorite during cocktail hour. He was able to play all the songs that we requested, and also takes requests as long as thats something you include on the music form you work on with Margie. From popular hits to jazz standards, we were IMPRESSED. Margie was also wonderful and thorough in our communication throughout the whole wedding planning process. Thank you so much OMG!
Our wedding was just this weekend and we had Yennie and Jose playing for us. We provided a playlist sample of the kind of music we wanted for cocktail hour and for dinner and OMG selected a set of music exactly to our taste. It was class and beautiful. Later Yennie perform for us at the dance and she was so incredible energetic and brought everyone to their feet. We had so many people asking us for contact info for OMG and specifically for Yennie. Margie and her group were wonderful to work with. The strings were fantastic. They really shined during the outdoor ceremony. DJ Kennedy put a great show for the party and had everyone dancing. Margie was very responsive to all questions and helped us plan an amazing time for us and our guests. We would recommend them for any party. OMG Ocdamia Music Group was so wonderful to work with! My couple hired them as their Malibu Wedding Violinist and they were amazing! Margie was so helpful and worked with our tight timeframe (they were hired only 2 days before the wedding!) Brandon was the violinist and he was professional, on time, kind and sounded great! Having OMG Ocdamia at the wedding elevated the guest experience. As a wedding planner, I work with many vendors and would love to work with them again!
Warning.. long good review ahead. Can’t help it!!😍Had a great time with OMG! No regrets on hiring them. The best musicians out there! From booking it until after the event, the team did a fantastic job!At first we were hesitant on pushing thru booking them in this uncertain time (due to Covid-19) since were trying to minimize guests to meet the state and reception’s guidelines.. we wanted a live band during reception but obviously can’t since big parties are not allowed due to the pandemic. but the owner, Margie is very hands on and make sure clients get the help they need and are taken care of. She was really helpful and answered all the questions we had and gave us options and idea of how it’ll be like if we go for a sax for the reception instead of a live band and string duo for ceremony instead of string quartet. She even have a guide on what we have to do and what to expect from the musicians for our event. The whole communication process was so smooth that it didn’t need any meet ups. Everything was done thru emails, text and calls. If you wonder how fast OMG responded to our emails and texts? RIGHT AWAY! If not, within 30mins. Honestly, if you’re already decided on which musicians to hire and your choice of music/songs, all you have to do is ask for the link from Margie where to fill out the form online of which songs you want to be played for each part of your wedding ceremony and reception or in any other event. That’s how easy and time saving working with OMG is!!The string duo on our wedding ceremony by Art and Kath was very helpful. We forgot to set a groom and bridal party processional song but they had the initiative to ask prior the ceremony and quick to pin point that and was able to play something on the spot. Kudos to both of them! Not only did they play perfectly, they also have the initiative and gave song ideas/options on what we were missing last minute. Lastly, Jason, the saxophonist during reception, did a phenomenal job on the cocktail party and the reception. He was able to play most of our songs and some requests from our guests. Everyone was entertained. As long as it is on his playlist, he is not hesitant to play it. Guests even had the expression “BEST.WEDDING.EVER!” and Ocdamia Music Group have a huge contribution on that.Overall, great job by the team! None of the musicians were late. Very professional. Showed up well dressed according to the event. We’ll definitely recommend them to our friends and family and let them experience what we experienced! Best decision we have made for our wedding! We booked their string trio for our wedding ceremony. They were amazing and a huge hit with our guests. My husband and I are both musicians and we knew we wanted to have live music at our ceremony. The repertoire that OMG has available to perform is incredible. They have an online planning form where you select exactly what songs you want performed for each part of the ceremony. I loved their organization and attention to detail. We had them play so many of our favorite songs, everything from Coldplay to Beauty and the Beast. The music truly set the tone for our day and we are so grateful to OMG for making our ceremony truly beautiful. The musicians were on time and dressed professionally and delivered exactly what was promised. We highly recommend this group for anyone looking for musicians for their special events.
We are so glad we went with OMG for our special day. They were very accommodating with all the wedding postponements and changes we dealt with during the Covid pandemic. Margie is very friendly and quick to respond. She’s extremely helpful in getting everything set up and answering all questions. I contacted Margie at Ocdamia Music Group to book musicians at the last minute for a memorial service. Margie was immediately responsive and empathetic, worked with me to find affordable solutions for two separate events (the funeral itself and the afternoon reception at a residence), and put my friend in contact with her musicians to decide the best music to play to honor her fathers memory. When the funeral home made a mistake and did not play a recording of music that was important to the ceremony, the harp player at the reception was able to play the omitted piece from sheet music on the spot and help rescue the important moment for the family. We had the pleasure of enjoying beautiful and soothing music from a very talented cellist and harpist on a very difficult day, and I would recommend Ocdamia Music Group to anyone needing high quality professional musicians for any event.

We hired Amy Serrano, an incredibly talented electric violinist, for our wedding and all we can say is WOW. From the start, Amys positive energy shined through. They did a really fantastic job, I must admin I wasnt sure what to expect for what seems like a value price. It really went beyond my expectations. I put together a tough playlist as well. I have to imagine these werent commonly requested songs. Very pleased.

They were timely, dressed to match the vibe of our wedding, and had such an incredible range of song selection that we were really able to make our wedding feel personal. After thorough research, I reached out to Margie at OMG to plan a surprise musical moment for our first dance at my wedding in November 2019. I was so happy with my decision and cant thank Margie and her team enough. Our guests are still raving about the hip hop violinist and how incredibly entertaining and passionate she was. She has processes already in place to organize all of the music and communicate timeline and what you want. Would definitely recommend getting OMG (Ocdamia Musc Group) to play at your wedding. I worked with them for my Indian wedding ceremony and Margie was a joy to work with. They have an extensive playlist of songs, but were able to accommodate all of the Bollywood song requests we sent and even purchase some of the music that was not available to make our day special. All guests commented on how elegant the event was due to the string quartet and they were very respectful of coordinating with the priest when he was talking, as well as seamlessly working with our DJ for the sound. Could not have recommended a better group to make our day special. Thank you!!!
Grace performed at my wedding reception at Lawrys and she was fantastic. Everyone loved the music that she played. It was great that she had an extensive song list to pick from that covers the entire spectrum, from slow songs to dance songs. Arranging everything beforehand with Margie was also super easy. Dwight is an amazing pianist. He was very nice and professional. He easily made changes to the song arrangement on the fly, and he granted every detailed request I asked for so easily and beautifully. He played music that literally brought me to tears. I was extremely happy that I got a chance to work with Dwight. He wildly exceeded my expectations for a pinaist, and I definitely couldnt have asked for a better pianist for our big wedding dayI worked with Margie for my wedding, and she was a dream vendor to work with. I hired Ocdamia Strings for my daughters wedding after hearing them over a year ago. They played for an event at my parents Assisted Living home in 2015, when my parents renewed their vows after 62 years. I told Margie this, and how special it would be to me to have them play for the wedding, and she made sure that Art was there to play since he had been there for my mom and dad. We hired a string trio from Ocdamia Music Group to play at our October 2018 wedding. Prior to the wedding, our main contact was Margie, who I believe is OMG’s owner. She was very professional and responsive to all our questions and updates. We had the string trio perform songs leading up to the ceremony, for our processional and recessional, and during cocktail hour. As the bride, I didn’t get to hear much of the music except our processional and recessional songs, but what I did hear was wonderful! I was also told by many guests that the trio did a beautiful job! I could not have been happier with the service that I received from OMG!! I initially booked another violinist but he unexpectedly canceled a couple months prior to our wedding. I came across Ocdamia Music Group through some FB recommendations and I thank my lucky stars! The reviews are all true! I hired Grace as a soloist for my wedding ceremony. OH MY GOD- it was so beautiful! I keep re watching the video and listening to her play All of Me by John Legend as I walked down the aisle. Every other song she played was pure perfection as well. And Ocdamia Music Group was SUPER responsive, which is really helpful. One of the best touches I added to my wedding. Guests gave so many compliments and raved about it.
Margie and her team of extremely talented musicians provided the music for our wedding cocktail hour and reception. My wonderful experience with this vendor started off with just one email inquiry and within minutes Margie responded and the in-person meeting was set. Both me and my husband at the time was not too familiar with quartets and Margie patiently walked us through the whole experience including their online booking site. Their library of song list was diverse and we enjoyed every piece that was played by this amazing team! Just watching these musicians play on YouTube will not do them justice. As a frantic couple who ran around the whole day preparing for the reception, it was truly soothing to our souls to hear the quartet play! They have a wide variety of selection and even if I have a foreign song, they accommodated my request and learned it. They came early and provided the mic for my officiant. I was too busy with pictorials that I wasnt able to hear everything they played but my guests raved about them all night and have asked to be referred to them. They have competitive rates! At the time of my wedding I paid $749 for a string quartet and $50 for 2 new song arrangements. I say the price I received because they were worth every penny! I was extremely nervous to pay that much, but when I heard their sample performance, my mother and I were teary eyed by the 2nd song! All of my guests could not stop talking about how impressed they were. Margie and her musicians are amazingly easy to deal with! Margie always responses to email lightning fast which is reassuring! They are the one thing that went right at my wedding (Im not even joking)! Very professional and the quality of their performance is breathtaking. If you can RSVP for their next sample performance, do it. You will not be disappointed!

Brandon was a solo violinist for our wedding. He did a terrific job at our wedding. He played beautifully! If I have another event, I would hire him again in a heartbeat. If a picture is worth a thousand words, I would need a series of books to show how amazing Ocdamia is. From my initial conversation down to the final note of the final song, OMG delivered! Everything was business as usual until my wedding was cancelled due to a natural disaster. I thought we would get a refund and move on with the issues of trying to set up another wedding from scratch within a few days. OMG was willing to go further and play longer without a date or venue. Margie and the OMG team were a Godsend! My wife and I decided to do most of the wedding ourselves because we had a very unique vision. One of the things we really wanted was having live music for ceremony and cocktails but a DJ for the reception. We also had made a 6-7 min video that we wanted played on a projector for our guests in the very beginning of the reception. On top of all that, my wife really love Paganini and the musicians learned and played it perfectly! Weve talked to so many music/entertainment vendors in our search, and they all seem to do their best to up-sell you. Many of the purposely confuse you with all their product offering because they know youre only going to do this once in your life and you probably dont know anything. And I swear everyone says theyre having a promotion and want you to sign right away (dont fall for that!). Talk to Margie, she actually loves (and knows) music and the event industry. She will figure out what you need and dont need and try to match you with the correct personalities.

Our solo violinist, Lito, was so wonderful and the music made our intimate ceremony at the Greystone Mansion come together in such a beautiful way!Lito went above and beyond, and it was apparent that he was passionate about music and making people happy. We hired a number of performers from The Ocdamia Strings for our super formal Titanic/Downton Abbey-inspired wedding last month and were absolutely delighted with them in every respect. Margie Ocdamia, the groups manager, is a dream to work with - highly responsive, flexible, and organized.We hired a string trio to perform prior to and during our ceremony, a pianist and cellist to perform instrumental piano bar music during cocktail hour and dinner, and a jazz singer and sax player to cover popular songs during dancing. All of them were phenomenal performers. The jazz singer absolutely blew us away with her voice. During her performance of All I Want For Christmas Is You people thought it was the original Mariah Carey track playing because her voice was so spot on.They also accompanied my uncle who performed our first dance song - they were extremely accommodating of his schedule in organizing a live rehearsal at a studio space that was convenient for him and in learning the music to a someone obscure song.Could not have been more pleased that we discovered this group. They were one of the highlights of our wedding.

When Jason states that he can learn any song, he truly means it!! We asked Jason to perform for our reception cocktail hour and he was definitely a star amongst all of our guests. It was even more special for us because we had handpicked some Arjit Singh / Bollywood songs and he played all of them.
We have hired the cello and piano duo for our wedding. The overall performance was great and the guests enjoyed it! The only minor thing is that our entrance song and the bridal party song got swapped. Other than that, everything was perfect :)

My wife and I hired Margie and the Ocdamia Strings for our October 1, 2016 wedding at Castle Green. I initially never planned on it but youtubed a song played by a String Quartet and thought, hey, this sounds great. I wonder if I can have one at my wedding? So I decided to check out several string quartets on Craigslist. There are a lot, so I basically selected mine based on their youtube channel. Theyre one of the few that even has examples of their quality, and by far, the one with the most songs on youtube for me to hear...locally. So I called Margie and we went over what they would provide and how much it would cost. They were reasonable and I eventually booked them for 3 hours. They even provided the amplified speakers for free!What I loved about them is they are on top of their emails (always answering me back within the hour!) and that theyve been to Castle Green before. So they knew where to sit and play. Super easy to work with and super friendly. They invited me to some of their live showings but I was unable to attend any due to my schedule. They gave me a form to submit for a playlist and an online portal to send it to and to make my payments.Really nothing bad to say about these guys. Theyre super professional, even came almost an hour early to their specified time. They even learned the Imperial March for me for when the groomsman were suppose to walk down the aisle to...although it was never played because of a miscommunication, they still played a beautiful song for us all to walk down to. No harm, no foul. One gentleman came up to me and apologized for not playing it and even Margie sent an email after to apologize. They take great pride in their work and service.Once they finished the ceremony and moved to the lobby area, they played spectacularly. The guests raved about their quality and songs. Id suggest picking pop songs as they came out GREAT! My guests loved my selection of music. I was bummed I couldnt enjoy much of their music because I was busy with groom stuff, but I did allow them to record themselves and they will show me when theyve finished editing everything.In summary, having Margie and the Ocdamia Strings was a great touch to our wedding and added a classical flare to our venue. It was worth the cost and I wish I could enjoy them in person with my song selection...may have to hire them for our 1 year anniversary just so I could listen to them.
We booked a duet; a Saxophonist and a Flutist for an event that was primarily attended by the Indian Community. Acacia and Cole Weber were fantastic. Margie Ocdamia coordinated Indian Music and Top 40 hits to be played. The combination of the duet with background music was incredible! 2022-03-01Levi is a fantastic and professional wedding musician! We spoke over the phone a couple times before our event to iron out details and Levi was very helpful in the planning process. On the big day, I didnt get to speak to Levi much, however, his music was wonderful to listen to! I would definitely book him again and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a solo guitarist and singer.Margie, the operations manager, arranged the booking and contract. 2021-12-15We have been thoroughly impressed with Ocdamia Music Group from our first email communications with Margie to the end result of our beautiful wedding performance. We had Michael the pianist play during our wedding ceremony and he did an incredible job. They provided us with a user-friendly portal we could use to submit all of our requests and timeline information, making the process simple. We submitted a very wide variety of song requests, even some older Chinese songs, and he mastered all of them. He also did an excellent job of sticking to the timeline and adapting to quick song changes based on what was happening. We were on the fence about whether or not we should spend the money to get a pianist or if we should just rely on our DJ, and I am so, so glad we decided to go for it and book with this company. The live music brought so much class and elegant energy to our wedding that we wouldnt have achieved any other way. We highly recommend this company, and Michael the pianist!

2022-05-04We had the Modern Duo play at our Ceremony and Cocktail hour for our May 2021 wedding in Temecula. Communication with Margie was quick and easy. I loved the songs we walked down the aisle too and it was nice to have some live music during cocktail our. We would recommend this group to anyone looking for something simple and elegant.

Originally we were in search for a mariachi band and when we visited their website we found a plethora of talent! Everything was so well organized. Margie was a godsend. She answered every email within 48hrs, worked around our timeline, and communicated with our string duo all our needs. Her perfessionalism speaks volumes and her group of artists are the cherry on top for any event.The string duo was AMAZING!!! They arrived on time, dressed accordingly, played all our favorite songs and were a delight to listen to. 2021-10-13Last Saturday we were very fortunate to have Ocdamia Music Group perform at my daughters wedding. We hired a cello, violin and viola. All of my guests were amazed with the professionalism and the talent this trio had. They arrived on time and played all of the music we chose from their website. The list is endless and they also are so talented they can play any request we had. Working with Margie was amazing. She was so helpful and available at all times. I had some reservations on were the trio would perform. I asked Margie if someone from her company could come and look at the venue to see where they could play. They came and worked with me weeks before the wedding and make me feel secure my daughter’s wedding would be a success. I would highly recommend Ocdamia Music Group for any occasion. 2022-04-07They did such an amazing job at our wedding. They learned 10 entirely new songs and performed beautifully. They even made adjustments to the tempo and timing only hours before performing! All of our guests loved the band. Each member was professional and a delight to be around. And the music was flawless!!! Brought tears to our eyes.

2021-09-09We hired a string trio for our wedding this past weekend in Laguna beach. they arrived on time and provided excellent music. The band played all of our requested songs and our guest had an excellent time recognizing typical pop & hip hop songs being played on the violin. it added a nice touch and help set the mood to our perfect evening. Margie was very easy to talk to and accommodated all our constant changes. she was always professional and always responded promptly. i would highly recommend them to anyone looking to add touch of class and fun to your wedding or event.
