The staff at the Irvine Spectrum location were excellent to work with and they went out of their way to assist me with returning an online purchase and buying a replacement pair of sunglasses. Brandon cleaned my new pair, but then realized the lenses didnt appear to be fitting correctly, so he tried a replacement pair of lenses and was correct. As such, he didnt let me buy the bad pair and instead ordered me a new pair to be delivered to my house...certainly saving me hassles later on. I much appreciated the top-notch service!
I’v been to many many MANY glasses stores n all roads lead me back to Oakley. My prescription got worse n i had to re-do all my glasses; cycling, driving, business, golf, tennis/night tennis, beach…everything. I hav 9 Oakley frames n Justina said the red colored lenses will be my first n this pair can be used for driving, golfing, tennis.WOW! The colors are amazing n the clarity is spectacular. I wear them to sleep n even my dreams are vividly sharp & colorful!I think next i will bring in my Oakley Chamber frame n see what Justina will recommend.Oakley Lenses are not cheap but perfection has its price. Take the short cut, go straight to Justina n hav amazing dreams of cotton candy, hot air balloons, double rainbows.
Shopping Experience was Great! Loved the personal attention and assistance in the store. I mean its easy to go on line and hope the item fits right or its the exact color but, in store is personable and rewarding when making a purchase. The store has so much merchandise....the choice is yours with all options! Great Team that services guest there!
I went to the Oakley store at Irvine spectrum today to get new prescription eyeglasses, and I was being helped by Oakley employee Jestina she was very patient, helpful and had great customer service, Im very happy to have received such good service, thank you Jestina.
I just had LASIK and wanted to purchase my first pair of sunglasses in 20 years. The team at the Irvine Spectrum store was incredibly helpful and provided a kind military discount (service members make sure to have your CAC with you). I appreciated the excellent service and have already recommended to a few of my shipmates.
Great customer service by Justina at the Oakley store in Irvine Spectrum.While I was unhappy about the failure of my Prizm and Transition lens sets, she found out the problem was a mistake in the original order. Although not great, this was a relief as it gave me confidence that the product itself is not “defective” or of “poor design”, and so hopefully I will not be facing another failure in a years time. She was knowledgeable, cared about my issue and unhappiness on the failure and totally reordered everything to make it right.I am looking forward to getting the correct order in 2 weeks time.
Awesome staff here, incredibly helpful! We spent probably almost an hour here yesterday looking at a million glasses and they were amazing! Sorry for not remembering the employees name but you were wearing a bright orange shirt, if your manager is reading this you need a raise! Will be coming back to this specific oakley purely for the awesome service we received!
The optician, Jestina was very helpful in resolving the issue with my prescription lenses.The frame that was ordered looked like it was damaged in the course of installing the prescription lenses at the lab. Jestina tried to transfer the prescription lenses to another frame of a different color than what I ordered so that I could have something to wear temporarily while a new one was going to be ordered, but she found out that the lenses were cut incorrectly as well because it didnt fit in the temporary frames either. At the end of it she had to reorder everything.
I ordered a pair of Line Miner XL snow goggles and there was an issue on the shipping (not the stores fault) in which the team went out of their way to help resolve this issue and get me my goggles for the last ride of the season.They were super awesome and it’s always a good experience going into the store.
Im so happy with the outstanding customer service provided to me by Jestina at the Oakley store. I brought in my Oakley prescription glasses due to a film delimitation on the lens. Jestina was extremely professional, efficient and personable. She took a quick look at the lens and immediately began the replacement process. It just felt really good to get great service by someone who really cares about keeping customers happy. Her passion for her job translates to pure excellence. Oakley is lucky to have such a remarkable staff member. The store is always clean and easy to find what Im looking for. Thank you Jestina and the whole team at the Oakley store.
Unless management publicly addresses this stores mask policy and current shortcomings in regards to enforcement of said policy, I will be avoiding any further purchases; at minimum this store and possibly Oakley as brand (hard to say Luxottica as a whole obviously).I have previously had great experiences for years with Oakley products and the Irvine Spectrum retail location until tonight January 27, 2021 (see below for details of good experience).I came in tonight around 5:30 to pick up a pair of prescription glasses I have purchased. Instead of having the normal pleasant interaction you would expect at Oakley, I walked into the staff (including the licensed optician Jestina, I believe her name is) loudly discussing divisive politics with a family of four anti-maskers (whom obviously were not wearing masks inside the store). The staff made zero attempt to enforce any kind of mask policy (although to their credit, they have all been great about wearing masks themselves) and were complacent / inconsiderate in regards to the safety of the rest of our community.I am very disappointed in what would otherwise be a great store and product. I have purchased a number of RX glasses and RX sunglasses over the years and the staff are always very helpful and knowledgeable.Previous store experience (5 stars) Is exceptional! I have only positive things to say about Oakley and the staff at the Irvine Spectrum before tonight. About two years ago I had a large wrench come off of a stuck nut on a coil-over. The tip of the wrench hit my face and glasses. The pointed end of the wrench would have hit the center of my eye had I not been wearing my Oakley glasses (see photo). The lens took the impact no problem and the frames bent back into shape without breaking (both show exceptional quality). I came into this Irvine location fully expecting to pay out of pocket for the replacement RX lens but the Optician working at the time said they could replace them under warranty for free, despite not being manufacturing defect. After that experience I was sold on Oakley products for life.When I spoke with Jestina (Optician at this location) a week ago when purchasing these glasses my experience was great. She was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Other than the lapse in judgement tonight, I couldn’t ask for a better sales associate.I would love to continue as a lifelong Oakley fan, but after seeing many friends attend funerals for loved ones that died of Covid and other close friends over worked in the healthcare field, I can’t support a company that doesn’t take a strong stance for public health.
I was looking for my first pair of sunglasses that i can get prescription on and be very stylish at the same time. I thought of Oakley and dropped by for a visit. The service was phenomenal. The young lady that does the prescription orders was very patient, kind and resourceful. My brother and I got a total of 3 glasses. She made sure to explain to us in detail what it would cost and what insurance they take and how the insurance pays for certain things. She also found the best deals for us to have. We actually found it cheaper to get our regular eye glasses here as well rather than at lenscrafters or something.The location is great. Plenty of parking since it is like a plaza/mall/outlets type of place.Will definitely recommend. Check them out and follow our travel vlogs @thehungrynomadz
My first visit to an Oakley shop has proved to be very disappointing. The shop in question was the premises in the Spectrum Centre, Irvine, CA (18th, March 2018).It actually started well. A nice chap called Jordon helped me choose a pair of Square Wire glasses and I gladly paid the $218 you wanted for them. It was then pointed out that they only came with a flimsy bag and I was asked if I wanted to pay $25 for a hard case.Now am I crazy thinking that if you pay that much for some sunglasses, you expect to be given a container that will keep your investment safe? So I mentioned this to Jordon who went to ask a supervisor if he could give me a case, or at least discount one. He came back with his female supervisor (she also was responsible for prescription lenses) who, clearly begrudgingly, gave me a hard case. I was grateful and thanked her, only to be met with silence and a look of contempt. So despite your rude female manager, I left the store a happy customer.About 5 minutes after leaving the shop I took the glasses out of the box and attempted to place them in my complementary case, only to find that the case was far too small for the glasses - the case could not close. It wasn’t even close to closing. I promptly returned to the store and told Jordon the problem. He was very apologetic and polite, and went to talk to another male manager on my behalf. Jordon returned to tell me there are no other cases and I would have to pay for one, and was very sorry.This was unacceptable and I decided to take my business elsewhere and asked for a full refund. The involved the manager (who had said no to the case) having to come over and progress the refund.To say he was rude is an understatement. As a 52 year old man from the UK, I can say I have never felt so belittled by a shop worker. Phrases like “normally people just buy a case” and “nothing I can do” may seem innocuous‘in type’, but they were said with such contempt and with such a lack of empathy, I felt like a second class citizen. I was embarrassed to have been treated that way with other shoppers looking on.I’m pretty disgusted by the whole experience, and as the definition of ‘Brand’ is the sum of all experiences, you are off to a bad start. Incidentally, I went 4 shops further along from yours to the Sunglass Hut and bought some Ray Bans.I’m going to share my experience with my friends and co-workers to warn them about how Oakley value their customers.
Bought a pair of Radar pace “smart” sunglasses. The hinge on one earbud was loose, took it back next day and they told me there was nothing they could do since it was not broken and to try my luck at the Oakley headquarters in foothill ranch to see if they would replace it. After a week I realized the electronics were cheap and the app used to connect to phone kept crashing. Within 10 days of purchase I tried to return the glasses with the receipt, case, all accessories and even the large box it came in but was told by the manager that because the card stock that says “Oakley radar pace” which wrapped around the box was not present that it was “not in original condition” and that I could not return them. It was the same person that sold them to me so maybe they didn’t want their commission check affected by a $400 return. Very disappointed in their customer service.

2022-06-26Experience was great ! I had come in looking for a specific pair of glasses and explained what it was I wanted to the associate. He was more than happy to help me figure out what it was I was looking for and get me squared away. He was very pleasant to chat with during the whole transaction. I’m an avid baseball fan as was Brandon. Brandon made the whole experience so nice, I wish all sales associates were the same. Great great guy !, thanks Brandon for the help. Love my Nestor’s ! 👍🏽

2019-05-31I can’t tell you how many times I have set out to buy a pair of sunglasses other than Oakleys (just to try something different) and left the store with another pair of Oakleys. They feel so good on my face and my eyes and I just love everything about them. Great customer service, too.
