Ive been going here for over 25 years and theyre the best. This is my cheat food on the weekend. My only complaint is if you dont go early youll never get a bear claw and theyre my favorite. Very nice people and a great variety of donuts.

I was out late riding my bike, checking out my new hood. Came across Mr Ts. Jackpot! Somewhat spendy but delicious, open all night. Friendly people. My first purchase I was 25 cents short (forgot about CA taxes). Was it oh, so sorry? No! They said dont worry about it and gave me my little bag of fresh donuts, thanked me and wished me well. Love them and their donuts.
You must go to this doughnut place in the area! Open 24/7, doughnuts are always fresh. The variety does change depending on the season but the classics are always there. If you come during busy hours the specific doughnut you want might be sold out so keep that in mind.

The best donut shop in town and really the entire central valley area. The donuts are always fresh. If you like French twists, come earlier in the day because those seem to run out the fastest. This place frequently has a line going out the door. Their donuts never disappoint and are not cakey, unless you specifically order the old fashioned type. A true Modesto treasure.

Busy, fast and courteous. Wish they took credit card, but I get it. My favorite is a plain old fashion, but I always find the them to be dry. Mr. Its is not. Its moist and we Xtra crispy.

Their doughnuts and pastries are fresh, never stale or greasy. The only problem with Mr Ts is that its hard to decide what to get because of the vast selection of delicious doughnuts to choose from.Prices are fair and service is quick and friendly. We have been a customer forever and the quality of their product seems to only get better over time.

We wanted 3 dozens and the lady kept rushing us. We wanted regular donuts and she kept saying they didnโt have any at 6am on a Saturday. Very bad customer service and out of the 3 dozens only 9 were regular donuts the rest was only small one or the ones w inside filling. I get it if they donโt have them but she was rushing us and not let us think of what to get. How can they not even have one dozen of regular donuts, and why are they so rude if they donโt even have the main item they suppose to have. No chocolate regular ones, none sugar, none maple. I think is ridiculous but I guess since they are always so busy they donโt care to be at least nice.

Update: well I have to say that I do love their donuts but this place is completely unreliable on its hours. I live down the street and they seem to not be consistent with your 24-hour open policy. I have called ahead of time just because I know that they are closed sometimes but even when you happen to call and you drive by there will be a chance at the doors will be locked. So I dont know what to say, great donuts.... unreliable businessI mean its MR. TS !!! Nuff said but ya best BEST DONUTS EVERR. Clean place and friendly works. Ive been coming to Mr. Ts since my family and I moved to Modesto in 2003. From the first time we started going here my family loved it. Our Sunday morning donuts and coffee at grandmas was our favorite, but as of lately Im very disappointed. I came in with my sister, daughter and nieces and bought 2 dozen since we had more people at home. When we got our donuts I was in complete shock. The box was greasy and the once fresh and fluffy donuts were not fresh or fluffy. Also even though the line moved quickly the ladies that work there are rude and make me not wanna come back. Very sad

The server could be nicer to her customers. Last 3 times same personality. Only one other was like her in the 20 years Iโve been there. Grabbing money out of the hand. Impatient even when no one else was behind me. I always tip, not this last time though.**Update- I will be getting a dozen tonight. So I will have to deal with that same server. I will post how she handles me and the other customers in front of me. I will act as though she is a great server.

This Donut Shop is the best in this County. The donuts are big and taste worthy and and to top it off you can see them make them delicious donuts. And they are cheap too. To bad we moved a little ways from it, if we didnt I would get it everyday and never be tired of them. Keep doing what you guys are doing because they are delicious!

I recently moved to Modesto and was told about Mr. Ts by a lifelong resident and it definitely lives up to the hype. Theres a great selection full of interesting new donuts and old faves and theyre all that perfect not too dense not too airy consistency. I had my usual fave, round sugar donut, and one I was heavily recommended, the blueberry fritter. Both were soooo good.Covid restrictions mean youll likely have to wait outside before being one of the seven people allowed inside at a time, but the line moves pretty fast so you wont be out in the cold for too long.Kinda pricey for a dozen, but the donuts are definitely a little more fancy and high quality than a normal donut shop.

First time to this place since Dunkin donuts closed earlier. They have lost of varieties and the donuts are fresh. I will return again. I did not like the uncaring people who run this place. They did not greet me or anyone else. I would have given them five stars but they lack friendliness. I should have read the comments stating how rude the staff was so I wouldnt have been surprised.

I have been told by everyone that this place is The Best. It is a bit out of my way but I finally made it there today to check it out. They have my favorite, maple iced cinnamon rolls, or Persians if youre from Ohio. I tried the maple iced cinnamon rolls, glazed old fashioned, regular sprinkles and chocolate chocolate chip sprinkled. The chocolate was devine, the best Ive had in a long time. The roll of course was the best, and the rest were definitely worth the drive. My only complaint is that they caused a rather discomforting bout of indigestion. I know Im getting older and my body reacts funky to old favorites, but I literally had a couple of maple iced old fashioned from Scottys the day before with no issue, so there is something my body does not agree with there. This does NOT mean that you will have the same reaction. Pepto bismal took care of the problem just fine, too. Overall I will recommend this establishment, they do have delicious and decadent delicacies.
We went at around 1230 AM. While the fact that they are open 24 hours is amazing, they were out of almost all the most popular donuts, including but not limited to anything chocolate covered. That being said, what they had left was fresh and tasty and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely return at a more convenient time to taste other varieties.

Lived in Modesto my whole life and this is the ONLY spot I go to for donuts even though I live all the way across town. The quality is STILL the same as when I went here as a kid, always fresh and delicious. You might pull into the parking lot and see a huge line but dont be scared to wait cuz its worth it for sure. P.S.- youre a loser if you decide to go to Dunkins across the street lol

They need to make a pathway for people coming in and out. There is no structure and no stickers on the floor for social ditancing. If they did this the line wouldnt be out the door and their wouldnt be a mismanaged group of people all crowded and why is necessary to take pictures or videos of the donuts. Take a picture of your donuts after you purchase them so that people can flow through and purchase their donuts too dont be so concieted your social media will be just fine without your donut pictures. I cant even get donuts because of all this they were my favorite for 26 years.
Mr.Ts Delicate Donuts are some of the best Donuts in America !!!!!! Seriously if you are in the area treat yourself to some Mr.Ts. The chocolate raised is worth every delicious bite. The Cronuts are out of this world. Blueberry fritter is a treat like no other. I could go on but just try for yourself.

That front door is closed then make sure to take the side entrance!
Expect a 7-10 minute wait outside, unless you order ahead of time. Its worth the wait, though. Cronuts (a dounut made from croissant dough), cinnamon rolls, banana fritters, bacon bars, as well as a huge selection of typical donut shop donuts. Dont waste your time across the street at Dunkin Donuts unless you just need to get in and out, lol.
I live in Washington and today I picked up a relative from Portland International Airport. We couldve gone to Voodoo donuts in downtown Portland afterwards...but heck no. I had my relative bring me donuts from Mr. Ts because theyre way freaking better!!! Id choose Mr. Ts over the famous Voodoo Donuts all day every day! I cant wait until I visit Modesto again; sure I miss my family and want to see them, BUT I ALSO REALLY MISS THEM DELICIOUS DONUT HOLES AND BUTTERMILK BARS!

A really nice donut shop! Their donuts are super good and it one of the best in the city! Always go here with my friends and I love the just chill here with everyone as well. Kinda a tiny place but it has a cozy vibe when it isnt super busy. Also its open 24/7 and thats amazing for when you are craving donuts at like 3 in the morning.

Went here on Fathers Day. The store was packed but everyone was happy to be there. DD across the street had no wait. The donuts were great but the blueberry fritter was beyond amazing. So yummy. Only complaint is that I had to share.

Theres no place like Mr.Ts! As someone who grew up in Modesto and moved away, its the most important part of my visits after visiting family and friends. The best part is that those two things dont have to be separate. 24/7 you can count on Mr.Ts to have fresh, delicious donuts that are made with dedication that truly shows. This is a Modesto staple. Anyone who drives through Modesto really should detour off the freeway to grab a donut (or a dozen)!

Ive been around the country, on a quest for the best and the worst donut. Seattles Top Pots Donuts are the best in the USA by far, with some really good places elsewhere, like Chicago and Reno. I live in Modesto and keep going back here in hopes to get what everyone else gets. I dont get it though. Mr Ts donuts are really greasey and the mocha is like gas station mocha. Its one of the worst places to go. Ill get my donuts from donut basket. Mr Ts also makes you pay $5 min for debit, which is ridiculous. Ive been trying for years to jnderstand why the reviews are so good. The donuts are not.

The donuts were great. Customer service and sanitization was not so great. We went there yesterday and ordered a dozen donuts. I asked the server if I can get a squirt of sanitizer that he had behind the counter because we had to touch door handles etc. and he responded the sanitizer is only for employees. Like wth. Thats absurd! We will not be going back for the simple fact thay during the pandemic you cannot even supply customers with 1 squirt of sanitizer!
Fantastic donuts of all types, sizes, flavors, and toppings. Can get busy often, but even if there is a line out the door the staff work quickly to get people their sugar fix and on their way. Make sure to have cash or a debit card as they dont take credit cards. On my way to work, so often a stop for me on my commute.

Excellent quality donuts. It is fast paced in the morning; know what you want when you move up to order. If you wait too late in the day, your selection may be limited. The sign says $9.95 per dozen, but several donut types are an up-charge. I normally walk out for around $12.50 for my dozen. For the freshness and quality, I am willing to pay the price.

This place deserves its national ranking! I destroyed my nightly walk by stopping there on the way home after an hour of walking. The line was out the door, only one empty table, two clerks and three cooks making fresh batches around the clock. I was amazed at how busy it was after midnight. When I first noticed this place across the street from Dunkin Donuts (which is not open at night) I figured that it had to be exceptional for such an unassuming place to stand up to a national chain. I can safely say I wont bother going elsewhere for donuts for as long as I live in Modesto.
Large selection of donuts. Ample parking outside. Small seating area inside. Line was going out the door when I was leaving around 9:30 on a Sunday morning. Cant go wrong with any donut here. Im always hesitant about bacon on donuts but they know how to balance the sweet and salty flavors. You just cant have one! Definitely recommend when you want your donut fix.
I love Mr Ts donuts. Always great customer service, even on the busiest Sunday or holiday, and amazing quality product. If you ever get the chance to get a warm chocolate donut (or whichever your pleasure), do it! Itll melt in your mouth and youll never go to another place. Yummy๐
As a modesto native honestly I feel spoiled to have such an amazing donut place 1 mile from my house, i have went to voodoo donuts but and it was great but it tastes like grocery store donuts in comparison to here, it is all fresh, there is great customer service, it is always clean, just the best.PS: Try the apple fritters

Awesome donuts. I love cakey donuts and they have some really good ones. Theres also a great maple bacon bar. Best if you come in the morning before 8am. The donuts are still coming out fresh before then and are still warm.

I am not a fan of donuts, but I find myself going at least once a month for the other members of my family. Always busy, and there are never any leftovers hours after I return home. Maple bars and donut holes are a constant request from the sweet teeth in my household.

Best Donuts in Modesto! Theyโre open 24/7 every day except Christmas for whenever youโre craving some of Mr. Tโs delicious donuts. Thereโs a minimum on debit card purchases (I think itโs $5 or $10) so bring cash if your just getting a couple donuts. They have some seating indoors and a cooler with drinks as well as coffee. I pity the fool who hasnโt tried Mr. Tโs Donuts!

04.15. 21 the doughnuts tasted like old firing oil like it was cooked after chicken was fired in it. doughnuts didnt smell that great today too as well. Service was rude , always getting that one rude random person to Service there doughnuts, Service is never consistent.

Mr Ts Delicate Donuts in Modesto are the best! Biggest selection of Donuts made of freshest Ingredients, always a line of other return customers. My only complaint is that donuts this good should have Barista quality coffee to complement it. If you like donuts, you owe it to yourself to try Mr. Ts!
The main thing to say about Mr.Ts is that its open 24 hours. I will drive from Turlock to Modesto for 2AM donuts any day.The prices are really great, usually around 10 bucks for a dozen donuts of your choice. Theyre delicious too, and I would recommend them to anyone in the area.

If u live in Modesto you already know that Mr Ts has the best donuts in town. Better than Dunkin Donuts and Crispy Cream. I always get Buttermilk donuts because those are hard to fine. Any type of do It you want is there.
These are the absolute best donuts ever! Never greasy, always perfect. Wont get donuts anywhere else. Everyone comes here from out of town also I know people that regularly drive 30+ miles for these donuts, and people out of state that still want them!
I went to Mr. Ts at 10:00 at night. They are open 24 hours. They had all of their trays filled with fresh donuts and were making more. Everyone behind the counter is always helpful, knowledgeable about the doughnuts, and courteous. More small tables have been added to their seating area. I see that many of Mr. Ts customers buy a dozen boxed doughnuts every time they come into the store.

Decent donuts but definitely dont live up to the hype Ive heard from some of its customers. The batch I had seemed to be cooked too hot and in stale oil. I wont be back since theyre over 10 miles away and I can get good donuts a lot closer.
The donuts here are delicious. Theyโre soft and spongey, and remain that way for a couple of days after. I put them in the fridge and they donโt get hard or crumbly. I recommend!

Most people in Modesto, CA would agree, Mr. Ts Donuts is the best donut store in town. Ive enjoyed going to this place as a kid and still up to this day. My favorite donut is the chocolate bow-tie. Saturday and Sunday mornings are usually packed with the elderly. It seems like they are always opened. Prices are comparable to other donut stores in town. I highly recommend this place for donut lovers!
I went around 9pm and I got fresh donuts. I really wanted to try the maple bars with bacon and they were warm and delicious. The workers were nice. The place is pricey but the donuts are delicious.

The best donuts in Modesto, but that is obvious when you see how they always have customers coming and going. Mr. Tโs has a few tables inside where you can relax with a cup of coffee and a dozen donuts to get your day started. The cream filled donuts are my favorites, but I will never turndown almost any of the other types, except maybe the maple bars with bacon. I know almost everyone loves them, but YUK!

Ive been going here since I was a little girl, so this might make me a bit bias but these are with out a doubt the best donuts Ive had in my entire life. Theyre always fresh, super soft, never too sweet, and not once have I had bad service there. Definitely worth a stop when youre passing through.

Been thinking its maybe the guy making the donuts, but have been small the last 5 or 6 times Ive gone. Prices are going up and donuts are getting smaller. Its a solid donut shop with some unique items which includes cronuts and blueberry bear claws. Well priced with friendly staff. Due to the location and its popularity, there can be lines and a wait depending on the time of day, but I Do-nut let it phase me.

Edit: California is now mandated to wear masks and the employees pull this and wear it half way in. Why even have a mask on at all. They only supposed to have 7 people in and then they let 9 people in... Then their employees are just full of attitude, well maybe just one.I dont know what the hype its. They are not that great. I was in town visiting and my local grocery store didnt taste better. Maybe they had a bad day.

I visited Mr. Ts while visiting family back in Mo-Town. Man Ive missed them.When I was a teenager I would visit Mr. Ts at 3 in the morning. They have the best donuts in the central valley. I have since moved to Chicago, Los Angeles, Portland and I still miss going to Mr. Ts. I recommend going in after the bars close when the donuts are being made.
My wife and I love Mr Ts because the Donut are not that sweet plus they are better and bigger than than dunken and Krispy cream plus the people working their are very friendly
I came here because I was told it was nationally ranked which is true. Although Im unsure if that still holds in 2018. Nonetheless the doughnuts for the most part are always pretty good. There has been occasions were I was let down or those couple times were the doughnut was almost wet or moist from the oil, which was gross. They have a good variety and the staff is pretty chill. Theyre open 24/7 and thats a plus when you have a random craving ar 3am and you cant sleep. It tends to get pretty packed at times but just be patient.
Great donuts because they are made fresh just before sale. Let them stand a few hours, then they are like all the other donut places. A bit pricey but worth it if you eat them right away.

Have not been here in a few years and forgot how good this place was.The pastry I ordered was a banana fritter. I cannot find these back home. Coffee was good too.

2022-07-23My first time going here and it was very overwhelming. They have a small space where people stand and upon walking in and my toddler looking to the donut case, a man was already yelling about how he was in line and we shouldnt cut. I has to tell.him to relax. Theres literally the smallest area to stand before ordering. There is no menu to look at while youre waiting so when the ladies are asking you what you want as soon as you walk in, it was very nerve-racking. Like, how am I supposed to know what I want as soon as I walk in? You cant use credit cards. Only cash or debit. Im assuming so they dont have to pay fees. Youre not given a moment to see all they have available to make a decision. I guess if I look up the menu beforehand if I decide to go again. We got fritters that were so greasy and hardly any flavor. Ive never had a donut so greasy before. For the price, it was ok.

Theres a reason people literally travel from hours away just to enjoy our beloved Mr. Ts. If their years of service dont speak for themselves, your first bite sure will. When you step inside, its like slipping into a relaxing robe at the end of a long day as youre greeted by a mouth-watering, deliciously-sweet smell and the warm temperature produced by the ovens. Open 24/7 for ALL to enjoy.One of the only places I am 100% okay with waiting in line for 10 or 15 minutes. How Dunkin Donuts across the street has stayed in business is beyond me--must be their coffee or breakfast sandwiches because you would have to be OUT OF YOUR MIND to choose Dunkins cake donuts, made with hatred over Mr. Ts yeast donuts, made with love.Most people have their gold standard by which they judge a donut shop, which is always their favorite--an apple fritter, a chocolate bear claw, some sort of jelly-filled, etc. However, the true way of judging a donut shop is by trying the classic, a glazed donut. It doesnt get any simpler than a glazed donut--no frills or crazy colors to make you think its something extraordinary, which is why its the perfect donut to choose as the benchmark. You are tasting the ingredients that they choose to make the food the serve you from. If your glazed donut tastes like trash, theres a good chance the rest of your product does as well because in its essence, a glazed donut is the foundation for all other donuts. And Mr. Ts glazed donut is nothing short of spectacular, wonderful, AMAZING!
