Homeless guy sleeping with his dog on the other side of the Motel 6 sign. Why book a room when you can just camp out up front?I got room 115 which you would think would be located next to room 114. But not at this Motel 6. Room 115 has its own special spot on the other side of the building. This is your no-frills motel. Queen size bed. Small screen TV with basic cable. Two tiny bars of soap. No shampoo. Lucky for me theres a Lucky Shopping Center right next door. Ill head over there after my bath.
Make sure to take pictures of the room’s condition and notify staff IMMEDIATELY. My husband and I should have done that because they will turn around and point the finger at you. There was a hole in the window screen in the room we occupied. It has been there the first time we checked in. Long story short we aren’t allowed to rent there no more because of that window screen issue that we didn’t even do.
Even for a budget stay, the experience was quite unpleasant.1. The water seemed contaminated; it had a muddy color and a foul odor.2. The housekeeping staff never showed up in the whole week that I was there. One afternoon, they actually knocked on my door, and I opened it to let them in, waited with the door ajar for over an hour, but they never came.3. The flush knob was not working properly. It would take multiple tries to flush the bathroom each time.4. The key card would stop functioning randomly. Got locked out of my room once and had to go to the front desk to get it rectified, and had to make several tries just to get in a couple of other times.5. Despite having requested a non smoking room, there was smell of smoke for the initial part of my stay until I painstakingly aired it out. That being said, the room was quite comfortable and spacious despite being pocket friendly. The front desk staff was helpful and prompt with my key card issues.
I asked for a non-smoking and when I got to the room it reeked of smoke. I went back to the reception and gave me a second room and also smelled of cigarettes there were even ashes on the AC control. The receptionist said people smoke in non-smoking rooms. I guess theres no fine if people smoke there
The over all appearance of the hotel is pleasant, they keep there rooms exceptionally clean and well furnished with decent size. staff were friendly and vetted in customer service. Its notfar away from places to eat theres also entertainment like movie theaters down the street I mean if it wasnt for covid though.. by far my favorite hotel and prices are outstanding
We are currently staying here for four nights because our home is for sale and we needed to be out while it was being shown to potential buyers. We chose Motel 6 because it does not have carpet in the rooms and is pet friendly. I was going a little stir crazy sitting in the room so went to the pool area just to sit in the sun. This is the only area where you can sit outside - no seats or benches anywhere else. Was there for just a few minutes and was told because of covid the pool area was closed and I could not sit there. I was not wanting to swim - just escape from my room. The tables were all more than six feet apart and there was no where else to go if you wanted to leave your room. So, I go back to my room and got one of the chairs from the room and was sitting outside my room. Yep, you guessed it - was not allowed to sit there either - because of covid! Ironically, right next door to the motel is CalPhin - a huge swim club that is open and running. There are also other hotels in the area with pools that are open. And I can sit (and eat) outside at restaurants - but not at Motel 6!! Now while the rooms are nice and clean and the price is good, if we need to be out of our home longer, we will not be extending our stay here.
I have been staying at this Motel 6 off and on for a year now. The front desk workers are always warm, friendly and knowledgeable. The housekeepers are always nice and accommodating. Rooms are always clean. The grounds are always clean and this area here has many different perks. I have always enjoyed my stays here.
I was surprised to get such a good couple nights of sleep! In my room, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the shower was also very clean and good water pressure. Oh and they put me on the pool side which I would recommend and it was super quiet! Front desk people were great too and one of my favorite things is the well lit parking lot at night! I have a very nice, brand new car that I was worried about. But with that type of bright lighting shows they care about their customers! Thanks Motel 6!
Receptionist Donna was very rude and unprofessional. She had a very unapologetic approach towards guests. This lady should never be working in hospitality industry, let alone deal with guests. She gave us the whole run around for a room upgrade. She could have just explained everything clearly in the beginning to avoid all the hassle and frustration we went through. We ended up paying for two rooms(because she instructed us to book another room) and not even using any of them. This lady also had the nerve to raise her voice towards the guest. We came from a 6-hour long drive and she made us go through all the hassle of booking another room(she told us initially a room upgrade would cost us $10 more). We left out of frustration of her attitude.I do not recommend this Motel 6 at all.
Smoking room is a plus. Most hotels dont have them anymore. Decently clean room a couple minor stains +spiderwebs, ac works, and tv works. Shower pressure is powerful but cold....dont let the knob fool you in the shower. Turn it opposite of what it says. Low pressure side is hot.. im assuming they want to save water bill. Doesnt have microwave or fridge so ammentities is not the best for motel 6. Plaza walking distance has plenty of food options. Along with a CVS closeby
I stayed here because the rates for hotels in this area are astronomical. I was overcharged for the room by $10.00. The sign that is displayed on the door indicates that the maximum rate for 1 person is $99.00 but I was charged $109.00. I guess they assumed I had an invisible friend with me. The people in the parking lot were sketchy at best. The only spots to park were dark and a bit of a way from the hotel. The desk clerk did offer to have the security guard walk with me if I wanted though. The bathtub could use a good soak with bleach and for goodness sake take the shower handle off and clean it. Mildew in a shower handle is gross. The soap provided smells bad. With that being said the bed and bedding were comfortable and fresh and I liked the floors were not carpeted. This made me feel a bit better. Since I was only there for about 9 hours just to sleep it was ok.
My room was cleaned daily, I received fresh towels daily although I don’t mind hanging mine and using twice. The room was clean and adequate. It’s not a luxury hotel. It’s a motel and they have free coffee in the morning. That is it. The bed was not uncomfortable. The TV worked and the water was hot in the morning. It’s a budget motel. My employer is cheap so if I’m in the Bay Area, I stay here. The local cops drive through the area which I liked. It’s pretty safe. There is a supermarket near by and several Asian restaurants and one Mexican restaurant. Over all, if you need to pay 75-90 a night, you can’t go wrong.
The room and the check-in experience was great but I needed a place to work in the morning before my family woke up. I went to the lobby at 6am and after an hour I was asked to leave because the person needed to clean the lobby. It would be nice to have a dedicated space outside of the room to work. But otherwise everything else was great.
Ive been coming here off and on for about 6 years. I have never felt more welcome and more appreciated than I do with the staff at this specific location. I have a motel 6 even closer to me, but I prefer to stay at Fremont North. If you want to meet people with the best character and who are charismatic, please dont hesitate to stop by Fremont North. I usually hate doing feedback and service reviews, but they honestly deserve it! Go stay at Motel 6 Fremont North!
The front desk has been incredibly nice and helpful and was very helpful in advice on what to do in the city. Parking is adequate. Motel was very clean as well as the room. The breakfast was better than what I expected.Though we didnt spend too much time in the Motel, other than sleeping but it left a great impression on us! Our sheets, towels and surfaces of desk, counter and bathroom were all regularly cleaned during our stay.
Used to be a good place to stay for reasonable price, but not anymore, so changing 4 stars to 1 star. Stayed at this place 3 times in past couple weeks, all 3 times there were no hot water in room, dirty towels, no blankets. When addressed the desk person they as usual know nothing and always rude. Tried contacting the manager, but manager is never available. No discount, no apologies, nothing. They simply dont care!
Edit 10/26/17- I stayed again for work, and this visit was much better. The front desk staff was very friendly, my room was neat and clean, and they even made sure I had a ground floor room due to a leg injury I had when I checked in. I was much Happier during my last stay.My first visit, I got a room that had been cleaned but the bedsheets had not been changed and there was hair in the sheets. I was given a different room that was clean. There was a lot of noise at the area I was in, and there are long term tenants living in the back area.
Our room smelled like cigarettes (despite being non smoking?)when we checked in and when I asked to switch rooms i was told i had to wait until tomorrow as there were not any other choices with a refrigerator. The lady at the front desk was not very helpful when asked of restaurant recommendations either. Overall the room was decent for the price minus the blood stains on the pillows which we requested new covers.
I can only speak from the outside on this one as Ive never stayed here. I just live in the neighborhood and visit the local shopping center which is often frequented by the guests of this establishment. It seems to attract a lot of homeless or nearly-homeless -- often of an aggressive type. Not a problem during daylight hours, but I wouldnt go outside at night.
Front desk was kind and helpful and our room was clean and quiet. This hotel is old and in need of updating. The floors were new wood and very nice, the rest of the room could stand an updating too. The shower/tub was chipped and rusting bed old and uncomfortable however, as a place to crash for the night, it suits just fine. for the price, it was fine and exactly what I paid for. REALLY need an additional ice machine, we had to go for ice several times as there wasnt any!
Good shower... TV channels easy to navigate (30 plus channels including 2HBO channels and easy to use guide). HVAC very quiet and easy to operate. Hardwood floors very clean...No carpeting. Apparently well behaved pets are allowed. I didnt bring mine, but may in the future. Price very reasonable... No Frills (bring your own microwave, ice chest/fridge). Location provided easy access to much of the Bay Area. Some loud talking outside of my room in evening... But very quiet after 10:00PM. I believe this was limited mostly near my room as I saw very few people in other areas of the property.
Very pleasant stay. Rooms were clean, water pressure good in the showers. Front desk staff were friendly enough. Received a package while there with no issues. Not much else to say. Would recommend if your visiting the area. Also uber ride share is only 20 bucks give or take to San Francisco 35 for return trip.
The hotel is located adjacent to to strip mall with handful of eateries. Dining is convenient and within easy walking distance. The neighborhood seems safe. Staff brought extra towels & pillows to the room fairly quick on request. Room was clean & all equipment work. It was a pleasant stay.
Love staying at this Motel 6. The service is always great. There is always a room available, for the top floor closer to the office, when I request it. The rooms are clean, with the basics of towels that are clean, soap of bars, HBO, bucket for ice, and plenty of parking. Would definietly recommend.
Tho hotel room was clean Wich is a plus. However there were many people loitering around the balcony. The walls were quite thin and we could hear the neighbor in their room even though they were not being loud. There were no cribs available and my husband son and I all slept in a queen size bed which was very tight. The hotel was inexpensive compared to other facilities and had openings when most others in the same price point were sold out. That is why we ultimately chose the facility.
A 5-star value! This is a basic, clean, mostly quiet motel in the East Bay. I stayed for one night, for less than $80. For what it is, it is an outstanding value. My only complaint was a lack of towels...which I discovered after I had showered. Staff promptly brought me towels and left them outside the door. 4-star rating reflects that it is still a budget hotel.
I booked a room #202 here on 11/14/21 & lefted it 11/21/21 They had a broke refrigerator and microwave in the room #202 when I got there the housekeeping staff never wanted to give me clean sheets pillow cases or towels or washcloths they went into them empty rooms throwing things on the walls making all kinds of loud noises they treated me bad very poor customer service I will never stay there again
The staff was pleasant, but everything else was very disappointing. The room was not particularly dirty, but the room (the balcony/walkway outside the room) reeked of cigarette smoke and our hair, skin and EVERYTHING we wore or had in the room (even if it never came out of our suitcases) still stinks of smoke 2 days later. The heater did not work and the room was very cold all night long - we slept in jeans, shirts AND sweatshirts and wool socks IN JUNE. The few towels seemed damp and the bed squeaked. There were no tissues, hairdryer nor refrigerator. There was no parking. I have stayed in this location before - in 2016 and it was fine. This was a HUGE disappointment especially for 1.75 times the price of the last stay.
Every staff member that I personally came across, was always professional and willing to go above and beyond to assist me with any questions / concerns / requests that I had. And the location was actually perfect. Right behind a shopping center, so you had a grocery store, and restaurants located really close, making it easier to pickup anything you may have forgotten to pack.Request: Provide Do Not Disturb Signs for the doors.Without these, we are left being woke up by house keeping. House keeping has no idea if you may or may not still be in the room, and if they should or shouldnt known. This could be solved with some sort of Do Not Disturb sign, that can be posted outside the door.Request: TowelsThe Towels are nice, but they dont seem to be the standard size you see most hotels carry. It was also a hit or miss, if house keeping would eitherA ) Replace any towels you didnt hang upB ) Leave the towels you did hang up aloneMotel 6 has a Be Green Policy, and they ask you to hang up anything you want to re-use, and the house keeping staff will know to leave it alone. However during my 5 day stay, they actually took the towel off the hook and replaced all my towels that I had used. Other times they took the towels used, and didnt replace them at all. So the experience could be better with consistency.Request: Change MachineIts awesome that they allow laundry on site. However, youre forced to go to the front desk if you want quarters, vs. having a change machine nearby, where you can insert $1 or more, and get quarters back.
I stayed 3 nights, first night was bearable besides the people upstairs stomping around all night not sleeping. 2nd night was horrible, upstairs was still stomping around, making so much noise, the room next to me I could hear the couple fighting and literally throwing whoever up against the wall. And all throughout the night and early morning there was people loud as can be running around outside. I talked to the manager that morning to let him know everything that was going on and he told me that its never usually like that, that the security guard had called in, which makes complete sense why people were acting all crazy that night. Manager was very, kind and gave me a nights stay on him, changed my room and was very understanding. Last night was much better. I saw a security guard driving and roaming around, I asked to be moved upstairs which was much better. So overall I would stay here again, and recommend to my friends. Manager and employees were awesome and very friendly. Even the housekeeping was nice and friendly, which is rare to see at motels.
The service was great. The room was not as clean as Id prefer. The hot water in the shower was only warm even after letting it run for over 15 minutes turned as high as it would go. And the bathroom light never stopped flashing unless we turned it completely off. However, the staff who where there when I arrived were super awesome! There was different staff there when checking out (not so great experience). But overall Id stay here again. Thank you.
Clean, plenty of parking. A lot of weekday workers arriving and departing all hours yet very quiet around rooms and in parking lot. Clean room but basic for Motel 6. No fridge and only one wooden desk chair. Odd access through Lucky s parking lot. Definitely recommend for peaceful night stay.
I have been staying at this location for years. The service is good! The rooms are always very clean! However, the buildings are in need of repair. I had a room that had a wall that leaked enough water to puddle up on the floor. Then I got moved to a room that had no water pressure.
IT was really good. The manager there EARNIE is very good. SHe always helps me to get the room I want and she and her staff have a very good attitude and are welcoming. Oh, I just have one criticism guys; the rooms NEED to have new mattresses put in them. I stay there quite often and have stayed in several rooms, and the mattresses are in very bad shape. Well not really bad shape but warn out. Rooms need new mattresses. There a bit over used and old. Bad for the back and body all overall.
I would sleep in my car before staying here ever again. I found ROACHES in my room one morning and then had to demand a refund, another time housekeeping woke everyone up 2 hours early and told them to check out, and the best time was when I woke up to my car and 14 other cars that were broke into. They have NO security, NO cameras, and they dont care about the people staying there. They recently put up signs stating theyre not responsible for any damages because theyre setting up the break-ins. They received multiple reports of cars being broke into and they didnt call the police.
First, I would stay here again if I needed to be in the area. The area is nice enough with food and the freeway nearby. The room has the basics for sleeping and cleaning up. The staff were friendly and very helpful to me in a situation I found myself in with another guest.I didnt rate it higher because it lacked a microwave and mini fridge and coffeemaker, which I am used to having even at Motel 6. The room may have been painted not long ago but the veneer was coming off the furniture, almost as though the bottoms had gotten soaking wet. The door jambs in the bathroom had what appeared to be damage from water or insects, although I am not qualified to judge that. I found drips that looked like coffee or chocolate on the bathroom door. I did bring cleaning wipes and did wipe things down. I dont use hotel bedding but it looked clean. The shower water was hot enough for me and I love hot showers. The sinks drained fine and all appliances worked. There was an adequate number of outlets and the TV was modern enough and got good reception, although I had no idea what channels were which. I tried the paid version of the WiFi the first night and the free the second and didnt see much difference. It worked adequately. However, it is not secure and I did find an odd FB message on my tablet today. It may not be related but a reminder about using unsecure connection.I got unwanted attention from another guest, who followed me around and kept making advances even after I told him to leave me alone. He even followed me to the nearby grocery store and to room, knocking on my door to ”see my room. I reported him to the office. They had already had odd encounters with him. One of the office staff walked me to move my car (I was too close to the smokers area with smokers outside my door) and I was given another room closer to the office. After I reported the man had followed me to the store and room, an office person said they were going to remove him. Had he approached me again I was going to call 9-1-1. I am 71 with a health condition and he was clean cut and not old. It was creepy. But I was impressed with the women in the office because they heard me and helped me. To be clear, I do not blame the hotel or location for this. My granddaughters place in Newark that was high end had an incident the same night with a woman banging on doors and fighting with people and police were called. But this Motel 6 staff handled the situation as if the Motel 6 was a high-end hotel. Very impressive.
It was a nice, clean motel. I loved how pet-friendly it was and that it did not show that their were pets there. I think the price could be a bit of an issue especially since there is no refrigerator or microwave (I understand why they do not - but still one or the other could be made as an accommodation).Overall - enjoyed the stay.
The room was clean and comfortable, but the water pressure in the sink, shower, and toilet were absolutely horrible. The water conserving devices attached to the faucets and shower head were terrible. The drought ended earlier this year, so there is absolutely no reason to have these devices attached anymore. I wanted to remove them myself but I decided not to. Maybe you just dont want to spend the time and money to pay your maintenance worker to remove them from every room, but you would make your visitors very happy if you did. Theres nothing like a strong hot shower after a long drive or a hard days work. Please consider removing these from your rooms.
We stayed here last minute while moving to the Bay area--we arrived too late to get the keys to our apartment, and Motel 6 was the only place nearby that was a decent price and dog-friendly. We wound up with a smoking room which, I understand is going to have a certain smell, but this was overwhelming. The room smelled like both tobacco and weed, and it took my breath away when we first entered the room--my hair and clothes smelled of it as well after we checked out. I would definitely stay at this hotel again because the area seemed safe, but would avoid the smoking room!
Solid 2 star hotel. $100 night in California gets you a non-smoking room that smells like cigarettes, sheets and pillows covered in various lengths of curly black hair, semi wet blankets (like they never finished drying) no towels for which to shower and there won’t be a fridge or microwave in the room. However! Internet speeds were sufficient for a Tuesday and the A/C blows cold. Thank god I travel with my own sheets, pillow cases and towels.
Room(#103 near the stairs) is extremely congested; missing towels at the sink and extremely soft, old beds (that need to be replaced); a disappointing experience. Room 103 is very much hidden from other rooms, it would be better if the front desk person advises the guest where the room is (which is few steps away from the front desk - on its own in a corner)!! Lost lot of time looking for the room!
Check in went fine. room looked fine offthe bat but upon further inspection not so much. that cubby the towels are kept in was dirty, dusty, and dysfunctional. where the bathroom floor met the other floor was rough. there were cracks in the bathtub and so the room smelled slightly of mold. the towel bar fell when we put a towel on it. each day when they made up our room at least one towel was taken but not replaced. we used the pool. first day was fine. second day the pool area smelled like sewer. from the parking lot, to get to our room, we passed the laundry room which had a spout facing straight down to the sidewalk where we were walking, spouting very hot dryer exhaust. we were yelled at for taking too much ice from the ice machine for our cooler. it was pointed out to us, very rudely, over and over, that there was a poorly placed sign overhead, above eyesight, asking not to do just that. the street lights and the skinny driveway made it very difficult to get to and from the building. the price was better than expected. the grocery store and donut shop next door were awesome.
It is great that the motel is pet friendly. It is not great to have to pay for wifi and it isnt worth it since it goes in and out all the time. A big bug came out of the sink one day. It would be nice if they had a mini fridge and microwave or something. The tub was rusted in spots and there was black mold all around. It does not even come close to resembling the pictures of the supposed updated rooms.
Horrible place... ghetto and ratchet is an understatement when it comes to describing this heap. Shady looking people hanging around, dirty shower, the room was Barely big enough for a toddler to walk around in and we requested a room with a king sized bed and got one that looked like a full. Itll be my first and very last time staying there!!
My boyfriend and I needed a place to stay last minute for cheap but still decent. It was close to home but away from the kids for the night. Nothing fancy, no frills just a good nights sleep. The motel was quiet and the TV channels were premier. Small room but still over all it was a nice stay.
Terrible experience, will never stay at Motel 6 again. Was given a smoking room, when asked for non smoking. Room was dirty, floors needed to be moped. Could not believe everything in my suitcase smelled of smoke. Also for $15 could have stayed at way nicer motel. No amenities, nothing.
Fecal splatter on the bathroom wall, disrespectful check in and checkout service. When I arrived at 5 am for late checkin to sleep only 6 hrs till checkout, I was rudely told that there were no rooms available even after stating that I had a reservation. After I was told there was no room under my name. I gladly provided my confirmation number and was finally checked in. The checkout was just as bad. Upon checkout I asked to pay cash instead of leaving the bill on the card that I reserved the room with. I handed the front desk $100 bill and the Front desk immediately informed me that they believed that my $100 bill was counterfeit and they were going to keep it! After arguing and letting them know that I dont appreciate being treated like a criminal. I happily gave them a different hundred dollar bill and demanded the first one back at which they did give it to me. At this point I realized that they had billed me for a second night instead of letting me pay for my one night stay in cash. Complete misunderstanding by the front desk service. I then got a refund for my second $100 bill and was told that they wont let me pay cash instead of my card. This was my worst experience EVER in a hotel. I dont expect a lot. This stay really pushed my buttons. Finally the $100 bill turned out to be real. I will stop now but could easily continue.......
First of all, the Front desk help is very professional, I personally like that. I forgot we were in the Bay Area, $ 49.00 a night to stay in Ohio Motel 6 ,your beds could use extra pads or better mattresses, make no mistake the room was really clean, the help are taking care of the place well. Yes I would stay again and also let others know about motel 6
The room was very clean and spacious. It was very clean, too clean we had to air it out for an hour to get rid of the overwhelming cleaner smell, I would rather have that then dirty though. the staff was nice and friendly. I felt safe and slept peacefully and comfortably.
I love my stay in Hotel 6 for the simple fact that theyre very polite very friendly staff attend to your needs the place is very safe and secure. The rooms and very clean they changed sheets clean the room in an everyday basis. One of the greatest thing of staying in Motel 6 in Fremont California is that you dont have to drive to go anywhere you walk about 200 feet and they goes restaurants great food at Mexican restaurants they also have Lucky Supermarket its right there within walking distance outside like 200 feet their swimming pool is great clean safe I had a great time at Motel 6 in Fremont California I would recommend Motel 6 in Fremont California to all my friends and anyone that needs to feel safe and stay in a very clean environment.. I will recommend Motel 6 anytime any day any hour thank you guys all the stuff and Motel 6 in Fremont Boulevard California I thank you you all for your prompt service attention and service.
Overall, acceptable. Motel is one of oldest in area. Rooms smell musky and very humid. Relatively clean and saw no bugs so happy. Towels ruff, but blankets and sheets unstained. Office staff could use some customer service training. Seem to forgot they are there to assist customers. Maid staff needs serious help. They start way too early and are very noisy. Maids are supposed to be seen but not heard. When approached some are curt because of English barrier. Overall great job girls.
Its says 72$ but they charged me 87 I paid 608$ for ah week the room looks remodeled the shower bathroom works well but the air conditioning doesnt work it gets noisy at times seems like alot ppl that dont have anywhere to stay stay here. I wonder why they charged me so much for one person one bed.
Stayed here many times. Front desk is always professional, check in is extremely fast, and the rooms perfectly cleaned. My one complaint is that system wide your rates are getting way too high when compared to hotels which offer nicer accommodations and more benefits for the rate. Motel 6 being a budget brand used to mean you got somewhat bare bones accommodations with no extras but in exchange for a reduced rate, which made it a fair tradeoff. The offerings havent expanded, but $99 on a Wednesday barely reflects a budget rate when I stayed at a Bay Area Holiday Inn the next night for $8 more. I can see the property is busy, so perhaps the business model is working fine and this is only my opinion, but I personally wouldnt stay again without seeing a larger contrast between M6 and the competition.
I GOT A ROOM HERE ON 11/14/21 until 11/21/21 the refrigerator was broke once I moved in the room #202 they was beating on the walls all night and in the daytime the housekeeping employees throw things up against the walls in the other empty room and they never bought me sheets pillow cases towels nothing very poor customer service I will never go back there again 11 / 22/21
I have not stayed in a Motel 6 for a long time... but it was all that was available for a recent stay. You just need to know what amenities they have and DONT and be prepared - NO hairdryer, Kleenex, shampoo.... I wasnt prepared for that, so was disappointed. Neighbors having a very fun and loud gathering at 3 am... BUT grateful they had a room and I needed to be near there.
When I first walked into my assigned room, I noticed that the bedding was soiled with stains on the top comforter. I immediately went to the office and requested another room and informed the front desk what I discovered. Although she did provide me with another room, I thought this was bad business to have a room ready for guest with obviously spoiled bedding. The new room was cleaner and therefore, stayed the night. But I dont think I will be returning to this location.
2 stars is good for Motel 6, let me tell you why. I booked online for s queen size bed, what I got was a twin, the lady at the desk obviously didnt know her job or didnt care, the shower was dub par, water pressure was a trickle, and hot water was sporadic at best. Now back to my tiny bed was it comfortable at least? No I woke up with a back ache, so bad I had to take some advil. So I had a average stay at motel 6, Im not mad not even dissapointed, it is what it is.
Finding the motel is not that easy so you really have to follow your GPS because there are no sign viewable from the street. The nearby interstate luckily doesnt bother at night. The room itself was nice in space and clean, but you could smell that some people smoked in it before. I bought the Premium WiFi and didnt had any problems with it.
The stay was OK, the room was extremely small with virtually no insulation in the walls. One could hear neighbors both on the side and above. The only closet for clothes was a small area under the TV. No cleanex box and because the room was AD compliant, water from the shower ran all over the bath floor. Virtually no counter space either. It was your basic plain-Jane room to flop a night when you are going to be very busy during the day with conventions. It was OK for me but I would not bring my wife here.
Experience was ok. Stayed for 2 nights. Speedy Check in, good accommodations. It was storming outside and the room was very humid with and without the ac/heat on. No good ventilation. Every time a shower was taken the whole room would get steamy. Not enough channels to watch on TV. Bed was very hard, had stains on the comforter, and not enough pillows on the bed. Housekeeping came we declined but asked for more towels they said ok we will come back. But never came. was very irritating.
Room was good, just for sleepover, but noise from surrounding rooms was unpleasant. Even that Id order nonsmoking room, bed sheets was burned throughout and smelly. In the shower wasnt shampoo, just soap. And the door to the restroom cannot be closed, locker doesnt work. I was a bit disappointed for the price.
Non smoking room smelled like smoke, the hot water lines are installed backwards, othee guests had music reverberating through my room till 11 pm. I called the front desk hoping they would ask the guests to lower their music.. I guess they waited till 11 to do so. The police make regular rounds at the hotel which is a comfort and a concern..
The location was hard to find via google gps, but the pool was clean and the room was very clean...good staff. One thing I saw was a black lady with her kids who wanted to watch them swim but the pool guy had just put clorine in the pool so they had to wait for some time...my suggestion is to have the pool guy come over early or later at night so the guests come first...overall good stay. thank you. also i was staying in room 122 and i wanted to take a bath and soak but the stopper would not work and i was forced to take showers...also i noticed that the drain was very slow during shower time so the water started to back up over the tops of my feet...that should be fixed and all rooms should be checked.
Pulled a fairly basic stunt of telling us we could pay half our money on checkout, at which point they increased the room rate to daily drop in. Owner has avoided calling me regarding this. Manager was unhelpful. Dont be conned. pay on arrival despite their fake warmth. Its a con. Better yet. Stay elsewhere.
I was in need of a room at 9am and there wasnt any other hotel that would accommodate me. But motel 6 was happy to give me a room. The manager was nice. I had to replace the towls and it wasnt a castle. When my ride didnt show up at 11 I called the front desk and she extended my checkout till 1230. My ride showed up 10 min later but I felt that was pretty generous of the lady at the front desk. Overall great exsperiance
This place is very dirty and we had to ask for my money back. They were nice about it and said that the place needs remodeling really bad. The tub had a yellow stain all the way around. I love to take a bath so, I couldnt picture myself being comfortable there. I would be too grossed out on the bed to sleep.
Liked the place but front desk people are rude! Specially that one person by the name of Rupina I believed. Shes really rude and not very friendly. I feel bad for the hotel cause her bad attitude reflects on them. The front desk should have positive attitude and have good aura. So, people wanna come and recommend the place but if youre negative of course theyre not gonna bother.
The only reason this property gets 1 star, is that there isnt a lower rating. I asked for an upstairs room (quieter), there waere multiple rooms available, but the manager made it very clear that this was out of line and it was some kind of huge favor to change me into one. In fact, in general, the evening manager made it quite clear that I was dog poop on the bottom of her shoe, and it is easy to see why she thought that might be the case. The property, sidewalks, walkways and lawn clearly does not get cleaned on a daily basis. I stay at Motel 6s up and down the west coast, this is the first time I have ever been treated this way at one, and will not return. My advice is STAY AWAY; there are other accommodations (including another Motel 6) in the immediate (within a mile or 2) area.
Other than the fact that it was very difficult to find we were very happy and satisfied with the Room. It would be nice for handicapped people if you had an elevator or if we could be on the 1st floor we will remember that next time.A few amenities would be nice considering the price.
I think 89 per night for a room without a fridge or coffee pot was a bit much , towels in some towel holder outside the main bath room. Taking the entire amount out of my account by the second day of a 7 day stay. Really!!!I have stayed at Best Western and other hotels for a comparable price with better amenities. Last time for me with your places.
No other complaints other than the fact that I accidentally left a pair of pants there but lost and found didnt have them when I called the day after. Pants werent super nice or anything but they were a comfortable do-everything pair. Disappointed that the cleaning staff obviously kept an old pair of pants.
Got a room here last minute on valentines day so we dint have to drive back to the valley. The bed was ok but could definitely use better housekeeping. Since there was no carpet there was lots of hair & dirt in the corners & on the floor, the mirrors were not cleaned & some of the towels appeared dirty. Oh & the bathroom tub area definitely needs to either be redone or repaired. Definitely not one of the rooms that is shown in their website.
I asked for non smoking room. All they had was smoking. When we arrived to the room the smell of smoke and air freshener blinded us. The bed had the most disgusting stain all over it. I begged the front to have the sheets changed...never happened. I asked the front desk if they can please change the room. They were sold out. That night i woke up with my eyes burning. The smoke aroma and the fragrance spray was all over the bed sheets. The next morning i woke to wash my face and a big nasty black strand of hair was in the middle of my towel. The floors were disgusting. I had to clead the floors to walk in my socks. Dead rodents found all over the room.
They seem to be pretty full on a weekday I suppose its because of tax time and the only thing about that place is that I dont like much was that everything had to be done by credit card and when I want to pay cash the other thing that I did like was the reflexible and I didnt like the laundry situation only one machine worked is only two machines washer and dryer washer and dryer.
Front desk lady was sweet...Maids were just not happy people, No Hello, No smiles, just mad looking faces...rooms were dirty, saw one maid with a tiny end of what looked like a car broom barely sweep the room next door to us after the people checked out. There was hair our tub, water slowly drainedfrom tub and sink...We had 3 rooms each room had2 adults and 2 children, we were given 2 towels each, when we asked for 2 more towels the maid gave us dirty looks and gave us 1 towel. Sheets were dirty as if they were not changed from customers before us....customer service here was the WORST of any of the motel6 I have EVER been to....NEVER AGAIN WILL MY FAMILY EVER GO HERE AGAIN!it was NOT worth what wet paid for the3 nights we were there! Im so pissed!!
The upgrade they did was very poor. The bathroom floor looks like it had pee. The tub had stain, I took a shower with my Nikes on. You know thats dirty. For $90 I expected more. Doesnt have to have all bells, but at least be clean. The picture in the website had a very good photographer. Bed was old and uncomfortable. Will not stay again or recommend. We got in late and left super early.
Nice clean room. Locations was convenient. Pleasantly surprised we couldnt hear freeway. But could hear people talking loudly late into the night on the 2nd floor walkway outside. our door. No parking spot for check-in. Lot almost full, with many commercial vehicles taking up 3 - 6 spots, and lots of private vehicles poorly parked. Was the cheapest option available ($105 with tax) by quite a bit, so all in all, not a bad deal.
I did not really stay. The neighborhood was really bad. There was a bunch of people hanging out outside their hotel rooms. I was very uncomfortable walking to the room. I checked in and left. I called for a refund and the front desk told me to call back so she can check the room first to make sure nothing was used. I called everywhere in the area and everything was booked or over my budget. So I decided to go back to room really late hoping it would be clear of people. I went back at 3 am and left at 6 am. I heard a lot of guys outside I think they were heading out to work. I left as quickly as possible. A very bad experience and I did not get any sleep at all. Not a safe place for single woman, a get away or families.
The price was reasonable for the night since we had a later flight but the condition of the room was questionable. This was my third time staying at a Motel 6 and its really just a place to sleep and go. I would give is a 2 out of 5 for the room cleanliness. Staff- 4 out of 5 (late night shift).
The bathroom had dried throw up on the wall by the toilet paper roll . The front desk sent the security guard to my room he asked me what did I do to the room I told him I didnt do anything to the room and then he left the next morning when I went to the office to check out I told the woman working the front desk about the security guard accusing me of doing something to the room and she told me he wouldnt of done that and I told her well he did and she proceeded to argue with me I will never stay here again this place sucked
I was asked at reception if I would like a smoking or non smoking room. I asked for a non smoking room, however the smell of smoke was so over powering it have me a headache. The bedspread had a cigarette burn and was stained as was the blanket. The room was cleand everyday. I asked for an iron and I was told I had to go to reception and leave my ID in order to be able to take the iron. The staff were ok, although nobody seemed to be able to smile, or offer any pleasantries. The place felt a little sketchy.
I have a great appreciation for the Motel 6. I can always depend on getting a great value & superior customer service from any Motel 6 that I choose anywhere I travel. The cleanliness, safety & convenience makes traveling with my children so much easier & gives me the assurance of a good nights sleep. Thank you Motel 6 for always leaving the light on! Lol
Great service! Each and every time that I come here. I really like the staff and how professional everyone is. I would like to recommend Angie she is the Manager on duty at the Motel 6 North Fremont office. She is very nice and professional at all times. she deserves great recognition for the great job that she does:)
The room was dirty. There was long black hair in tub, on tv table, and on sink. I wiped water up off of floor after shower with a white towel and the towel turned black. There was mold on the ceiling above tub. The rack that holds the towels was very dusty and dirty in side. I have snap shots of the problem areas on my phone. I am a 68 yr old male with short white hair and no one was with me, the room had not been cleaned in a long time, just surface clean and changed the sheets. Larry
The beds were comfortable but the pillows were too big. Motel 6 should have one large and one small pillow on every bed. They did not have 2 beds in any handicapped room. I cant imagine that. How often to handicapped ppl travel with an assistant? The showed did not have any grab bars or a shower head that came off of the wall. I was very scared taking a shower as the tub was not flat. It slanted toward the center.
I had a great experience till i went to take shower the day of check out, i slipped and fell in the shower!!! There are no hand bars to grab in case you do fall to catch yourself, there is nothing on the bottom of the tub ti help prevent you from slipping... i fell and landed on my lower back thus bouncing off the side of rhe tub landing on the floor on my back again. I have a spinal injury already from the war, and this fall made my back lock up thus causing me to just lay there calling out for help for over 3 hours, a friend who had a key yo my room showed up and was my hero, when i told the front desk, their responce was priceless and laughable we have handicapped room if you need it next time i was stunned by that responce from an employee, white male heavy set glasses, name un known cause he wore no badge. Their is my feedback will i ever go back to a motel 6 eber again NEVER AGAIN
They first were going to refuse to come look at this. Then when I insisted someone came and had no issues with the blood stain and urine stains on the bed. Its a shame bc it could have been a decent room for a decent price. Why remodel and have a bed from The Bates Motel?? 🤔😑 We left.
The hotel was (mostly) clean. The room was large, but needed a microwave and/or small fridge to be enough. The hotel is not in the best neighborhood--while we were there, the police came for a two-fer: early morning banging on the door two spots down, then the room next to us decided to have a loud enough fight in their dispute to pull the cops to their door. Thats not the hotels fault, but be wary of the location if youre looking here.
The facilities are what we have all came to expect from Motel 6. The clientele that they service our your general Fremont Ians. Was lucky enough to stay in a quiet room that was isolated. Front desk staff refused to allow me use of the office restroom when locked out of my room. Unfortunate and lack of hospitality.
Old Indian lady at front desk was very rude when paying for extra nights. She tried to kick me out my room saying I didnt have a reservation and after arguing lied and said my room is available again for rent for extra $100 a night. Do not stay. Trannys in the rooms trying to solicit sex WHEN YOUR JUST TRYING TO GO ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS. Nasty place. Also dryer broken the whole week I was there and no plans to fix. Again do not stay.
Front office people were bad. Very rude and gave us a hard time with our check in. The rooms were messy. The shower did not work. There was stains and stuff stuck to the shower floor. The room smelled like smok and cigarettes. Worse experience ever. Never sleeping in a Motel 6 again.
I stay one night every 2 weeks at the Fremont Motel 6 North. I check in late at night. I always receive a warm greeting from Earnielyn and Abby. They are friendly, helpful and efficient.I check out early in the morning. I receive a warm greeting from Rafina and Donna. Again, they are friendly, helpful and efficient. These people make my stay at Motel 6 comfortable and pleasant. My room is clean and comfortable and quite affordable. The cleaning staff does a good job.
Horrible customer service, manager Raj so rude, trying to show he was super bg, I saw the blood stains on bed when I go to the room, nd I checked out immediately, when I tried to complaint this to manager Raj he even dint try to listen my complaints. He even dint say sorry, he was just starting they could nt refund, though I never start topic refund to him, Manager Raj should learn how to talk with customers,
First of all the place was hidden and not easy to find. The key cards took multiple tries to open the door. The bathtub had no slip resistance of any kind (I almost fell multiple times in the shower), the water pressure was poor as well as the temperature regulation, and the shower walls were stained a color that just kept screaming a crime of murder took place in this bathroom. The toilet was so low I believe it to be designed for a child. The floors were dirty and I mean a film of dirt was apparent. The room numbers were not clearly marked on the outside of the building; despite the map in the office which was for office use only. The bed mattresses were so worn and used, that the bed I slept in, a spring was poking at me the entire night. The room is a non smoking room that had a stale smell of cigarette smoke. This establishment isnt to far from Stanford Hospital and I expected it to be more well kempt. After paying cash, and then seeing the apparent lack of maintenance and housekeeping at this particular Motel 6, I can say that I am more than disappointed and let down. If my stress over my surgery, travelling with my 77 year old father, and not being from this area wasnt a key factor here I would have asked for my money back and sought out another place to stay. The sheets were washed and clean but the other bedding was questionable. The towels, if you can call them that, were stained with what looked to be of boot marks. Thank Goodness I brought my own. Walking so far to get ice, in the office, not only was inconvenient but not ideal. To go out late at night for an elderly man or for a woman of any age is just begging for trouble and the possibility of a lawsuit if hurt, accosted, ect. I know not all of your Motel 6 establishments are this way but this kind of management could make a buisness like yours sink or swim by only word of mouth, especially being that many people have stayed there and will continue to before surgery. A social worker from the Standford Hospital had this Motel 6 in their printout of remarkable places to stay. I am calling that social worker back and telling her this is not a place for patients to stay and the reasons why; especially for cancer, transplant, and other critical patients that need a cleaner place to stay. Pluses are: the room had Dish Network and a nice t.v. with fair color quality, there was a small refrigerator (the door wasnt shut), and my stay was very short.Shirley L.
The toilet in the room was broken and stopped up. Each time we flushed it we had to use a plunger to make the toilet actually flush. This plunger was given to is by the front desk. The toilet was also leaking so we had to put towels down on the floor on order to have a dry place to step. The bathroom walls had black mold on the bottom of them. The bathtub had brown stains all over it and the shower curtain was moldy and old.The sheets had not been changed because there was hair in the bed before we could even lie in them. The window sill was leaking, so we had to put towels near the window because the water was leaking in the floornof the actual hotelroom. We werent expecting 5 star accommodations, but this room was horrible. Moldy, wet, smelly and dirty.
One of the lady manager is too rude. Though there are few who serves best. NO prior information for certain things. beds are not much clean though housekeeping is done everyday......No clear understanding between staff one extends the stay and other say that need to checkout on that day, where we will be on vacation believing that they extended..... I have been there for a week dryer doesnt work they doesnt inform that During check-in. I washed my clothes and when i put clothes in dryer and it didnt work no Out-of-order sticker. Had to go out somewhere else for laundry. No money refunded for inconvenience neither been sorry....
Stayed here for a trip out of state. The walls are amazingly thinner than thin. Listening to the neighbor cough in the middle of the night was not exactly what I was hoping for. The wifi does not work for viewing movies so dont bother purchasing waste of money. Conveniently located next 2 a shopping center that can be walked to. If you are able 2 drown out the sounds its a decent place on a budget. Also housekeeping was very polite and did an amazing job. Did not get in the pool, but smaller than how it looks online.
Filthy room, no clock, no radio, no tissue. Charged my card before I arrived even after I told them twice I would be a late arrival. I didnt want that card charged, I wanted to use a different one, he just didnt care. Only a smoking room available, I should have been given the option to cancel, get a refund and go elsewhere with that, the room smelled horrible. Cleaning is deplorable.
My husband is working in the city of Fremont for a few weeks and I booked him a room for 7 nights, as soon as my daughter and me arrived at 9pm to check in we were terrified there was a lot of weird people hanging out outside their rooms in groups smoking staring at us. All night the room next door had there smoke detector going off, in the morning we realized there was really bad black mold all over the bathroom and when we went to place a complaint they were very rude, we asked if we can just be refunded for the remaining 6 days, the great part is they did. Never going back!!!
Bed sheets were dirty. Bathtub siding were broke. Water faucet in the tub was detached from the wall. We requested non smoking room but the room was filled with smoke and people were smoking weed in front of the room. No action from hotel Managment. This hotel is very close to freeway 880. Lot of Resturants and local markets on the walking distance. I informed front desk of the issues and took pictures to show them but she said its corporate owned we cannot do anything.
When we booked the hotel online, we werent given a choice regarding smoking vs non-smoking rooms. So when we arrived we were told that we got the last available room and guess what, it was a smoking room. The bathroom fan did not clear the air, opening the only window did not help, and the AC recirculated the smoke smell. Needless to say, its been 2 days since we checked out and my bags still smell like smoke. If there had been an option to book non-smoking, I would have done it.
The room we stayed in had a really foul odor and one of the beds was clearly broken, made lots of noise and was uneven and due to being broken and hurt my back to sleep in. Went to use the ice bucket to get ice and as I picked it up from the counter it kinda stuck a little bit and I noticed it was wet. I turned on the light after noticing a strange smell and moisture and the fluid was yellow. Some disgusting person WENT PEE IN THE ICE BUCKET! Clearly they are not very thorough on the cleaning! Me and my child had almost ingested someone’s urine due to the lack of cleaning! Disgusting! Told the lady downstairs and all she said was “oh really”....great concern for return customers apparently. Sad.
DID NOT LIKE MY STAY AT ALL. Staff rude, room filthy, sheets stained, dresser and lamp tables were dirty, food on them that did not get wiped. Floors had not been cleaned in who knows how long. There was a basket of dirty sheets and towels which appeared to have vomit outside room door. Very unsanitary place. This location needs to get management checked.
Room is okay and quiet. It is not large. The bed is comfortable. The price is affordable. We missed the hotel since it is located inside a shopping complex and away from Fremont Blvd. The hotel sign on the entrance to get to the hotel should be lighted at night. The hotel is centrally located in Fremont. Parking is not a problem.
The Staff at this Motel 6 is outstanding. The rooms have been recently updated and I enjoy the new hardwood floors vs carpet. I travel a lot and staying at this hotel is my first choice $$ when I am near the Fremont/Union City area. Lots of choices for food, check out Dinos Restaurant great food and service....Business Safety Traveler
Hello, Ive recently have stayed in this motel 6. And there was a lot of issues that need to be dealt with.Firstly, the wifi here does not work. Ive checked that only rooms CLOSER to the office can use it. Outside at around 136 and onwards. Radius of the wifi does not reach the entire building, which is unfair and unacceptable. BUT, when we got a room upstairs, wifi was working fine, atleast close to decent. This is a very crucial issues because it contradicts the fact that wifi is put under the sign logo of Motel 6 and its brand new. There was few bugs and insects that lurk in the main room besides the bathroom. Theres sometimes dead bugs against corners and even cockroaches that lurk around the floors and even behind the tables. When we go to a room, we see a cockroach or two climbing up slowly and make their way to the food we order from either here or other restaraunts.Lots of issues even stem from the quality of decor in the bathroom, its not good to look at, and even the the toilet fails to flush all the way and would result in backing up, clogged up easily. Please, these issues must be addressed. I wouldnt recommend this to anyone who would mind with the issues.Problems:-Bugs and Insects-WiFi difficulties and not in close radius that does not stretch over building-Toilet fails to flushave
Noteworthy: excellent service and super friendly personnel. A caveat: the internet is not free as advertised; about $4 per night. Clean. No microwave to warm any takeout. This is a room for sleeping. Nothing else. Flat screen TV. Updated amenities. Feeling safe with rounds of security personnel.
Our stay was HORRIBLE. I am normally not a complainer. But if i could give negative stars I would! The ONLY reason i didnt leave immediately and ask for my money back, was because we were experiencing a RECORD BREAKING HEAT WAVE. The reason we even decided to get a room, since we do Not have ac at home, and my kids were looking forward to the pool, which turned out to be a let down as well, but not the motels fault there were rude people in there.. As for my room: before we even stepped foot in it, as we entered the hallway there is a strong SEWER ODOR, Compounded by what i assume are livein guests stale cigarette odors. I assume live in because there are ashtrays inside the window sills, so full of butts theres no way it was emptied that day... As we entered the room we noticed a mildew ish odor.. We jumped in the pool for a maximum of 30 mins because there were 10-15 adults horse playing in the pool, and my 5 yearold and 2 year old cant swim. After leaving the pool, I popped my kids in the bath, at least they can play in the water there. My husband went to ask the front desk for shampoo and conditioner, but was told we dont so that. Want extra soap? no,we have soap.. At the same time, as i knelt down to wash my kids, i discovered the source of the mildew smell- the huge amount of BLACK MOLD on the wall behind the toilet. I removed my children from the room, and went home at about 8 pm, having spent about 8 hours in the room, not spending the night, when i paid for a full 24. I could not let my 2 year old son who suffers asthma stay another moment inside. Needless to say i will not be returning, and i have been sharing my bad experience with anyone who will listen, and will continue to do so. I am also considering filing a complaint with the BBB, and will be leaving a strongly worded yelp review.
If I could rate this a 0 I would. Inside the room it smelled terrible and smokey for a non smoking room. Weed resin was caked all over the hard wood floors. The neighbors were smoking weed and can be smelled through the walls. The bed sheets were dirty and stained. No refrigerator or microwave. Nicest looking thing in the room was the large sink to wash your hands.
I had to find another hotel to stay at. The room instantly started making me feel sick and get a headache. I looked around and found there was mold in the bathroom from water damage. They barely painted over the crumbling wall. I told the front desk and asked for a different room. They didnt have one so I told them I will find a new hotel. I showed them the mold. I asked if I call priceline to cancel my booking and they said yes. But after I left and called priceline to cancel, he called them and they said they would not refund me for the room. Totally ridiculous!!! They didnt have another room to offer and didnt object about cancelling while i was still there. But after i leave they dispute it. Really unprofessional and dishonest. Stay away from this location, its a bad rundown slum with black mold infestation.
My booking was 3 nights and i did show up a little late on my first night before calling ahead. I stayed in the room which was a below par experience and smelt strongly of cigarettes which made me feel sick and i couldnt sleep the whole night. However, the saddest part was that they marked me as no show even when i stayed in the room and cancelled rest of my reservation leaving me almost homeless and i had to find an expensive hotel in return. they said they already were sold out and didnt have a booking available. Thats some gross mismanagement and utter disregard for customer experience. Really bad experience.
Consecutive 3 nights had to face issues with the door not opening and we had to stand outside till the hotel security had to open the window and then open the door from inside. It was not fixed, even after giving me assurance.Wanted to meet manager to complain but he never showed up to talk to me. No compensation was also offered for my inconvenience.Terrible experience.
The service was amazing. We got there at 8am after a 7 hour trip. We were so exhausted and needed to rest. Luckily they were so accommodating and had a room ready for us. The location itself just needs some TLC. If it wasn’t for the great customer service, I know the review itself would’ve been a bad one. It was a last minute trip so and the price wasn’t bad at all.
Motel 6 and Indian Mgt do not mix. Their idea of quality is below the budget hotel level. 1st Non smoking room reeked of cigarettes. 2d room had dozens of people insects on the ceiling. 3d room was handicapped and reeked of smoke. 4th room was ok. Indian Mgt seemed to be upset with my for asking for a clean non smoking room. Seems to be the norm in Bay Area as motel 6 outside atecwhat you’d expect...no frills but CLEAN with s friendly staff! Site was also used by construction crews. Mgt allowed their noise after 11pm.
Wouldnt stay again. Room smelled non smoking room had cigarette burns on desk and sheets. Tried to cover up smell with fresheners smelled like a mix if cigarette and airfreshner. Not clean mold in bathroom and hair from previous person. I had to clean myself. Weak signal on paid wifi and tv.
I have stayed at many a Motel 6 and Studio 6 throughout CA. The overall condition was simply atrocious. The parking lot was a filthy mess. There was garbage everywhere, including a Pregnancy Test Kit box. Now to the accommodations. Someone had scrawled their name in red ink on the wall. Rust and mold in the bathroom. Masking tape holding an access door closed in restroom. Funky plastic corner brackets siliconed to the tub. What is it with the funky toilets 12 from the bottom of the floor. I have allergies and was stopped up during my stay. There was also some funky blue spots on the exhaust fan, and they call this a Modern Room? I do not think Tom Bodett would approve of this room, maybe that is the reason for not leaving the light on!
The hotel is in a weird location for starters. Its near the freeway, but in order to get to the hotel you have to drive passed the Luckys and some swim school. Finding your room is even worse. Its like whoever built it was inspired by mazes and odd angles. The rooms are small and have hardwood floors. The comforter and curtains were stained. The toilet broke during my stay. Overall it was just an uncomfortable place to stay for the night.
I like this property. The staff doesnt bother me when I dont want too. Im given most of what I requests. The laundry ppl are the charms. They smile when asked for news towels. They are hardworking ppl!Everyone is so professional and sincere in the effort they put in.Now except for the other guest they are noisy. The security seem to be seen around and allow such noise to bother other guest. Thwts my only complain!
It seems like this particular motel targets the smoking crowd. Im sure theres a market for that, but to those of us who dont smoke, its disgusting.I end up with a travel-planning SNAFU, so I had to grab any arrangements I could find as close as possible to San Jose. I got on the phone with Motel 6, and ended up at the Fremont, CA location. I called the motel to make sure that my reservation was in place. The front guest guy failed to tell me that myself and my two colleagues would be in smoking rooms until we made the 40 minute drive and were there in person. (Intentional, Im sure, to fill the last few rooms.)Im wondering - if I had a black light - if it would have revealed body fluids of some type on a stain that was on the bedspread. (If that stain wont come out, it should have been thrown away ... Disgusting to a guest.)At 4:11am, I was awakened by a phone call from the office, telling me that there was a noise complaint coming from my room. I told the office person that they woke me up. I may have been snoring ... I dont know. But you dont call someones room in the middle of the night for that. Once I was awake, I had trouble going back to sleep. There were people talking in the courtyard at times, and it sounded like objects were being dropped from the 2nd floor balcony to the ground floor. What Im complaining about here is the phone call in the middle of the night. That seems like a pretty weird thing to do to a guest who was sleeping - right? For our second night, we requested to be moved to non-smoking rooms. The office staff accommodated the request, but the non-smoking rooms smelled like smoke too. (Mine in particular.) The no smoking sign, in fact, was an ashtray that was turned over. Presumably, if you flip the ashtray over, it turns into a smoking room. The staff, I must say, was courteous, and acted professionally. But this is a
Dont stay here unless you want your vehicle to be broken in to. Or YOUR GAS TO BE SIPHONED OUT OF YOUR CAR!!!!! Security is a joke he sleeps while theft is going on. Motel staff could care less. HIGH PRICE FOR WHAT?I heard a women telling the police this. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Not like it was the best place to began (Dirty, stinks beer bottle found between the bed and the box spring)with but Id like to feel safe. DONT BRING YOUR FAMILY HERE. If you have no choice bring your own towels GOD only KNOWS! Btw the reviews are from the damn staff guy beneath me works at THE DAMN DESK!
Noisy motel by the highway. Motel full of noisy people. No breakfast, they charge for the wifi, no laundry...and room cleaning need and improvement urgently. Nice people on the front desk, but awful overall rating for me.It´s more like a cheap hotel for a quick fu*** ..., but conveniently close to the highway.

2022-01-07This Motel doesn’t really get the credit it deserves. What makes this place a welcoming home away from home, is the exceptional customer service you experience, both at check in and check out. A business is not worthy of anything if it’s customer service is poor. I have been in several other motel 6, including the ones very near by this motel and I have noticed they need a LOT of improvements in terms of their customer service. They actually make you think “WHY am I here, doing business with them”.Aside from the CS, this motel is very well kept, much cleaner and very quiet. Now back to the Customer Service quality.I must say that front desk agents are all well dressed, they are well presented, they are exceptionally polite and very much accommodating. If you are not a morning person, or if you wish to experience the ultimate satisfactory customer service from a front desk agent, you better hope you come across with “Talia”, the early morning agent, who has the exact perfect personality you wish to meet in the morning. She is charming, very polite and above the top helpful.Honestly, I very seldom post a server about customer service because it’s my field of expertise with serving 20 years of my life in this business. I couldn’t help myself but to take time out of my busy schedule, and to make sure everyone in this motel’s management knows what a great front desk agent they have in the presence of Ms. Talia.I thank Talia for her wonderful personality, very warm welcoming smile and for being the perfect customer service any business would wish to present. I can clearly see Talia moving up the rank, sailing towards the brightest future she is aiming to accomplish.I’m giving her 10 stars out of 5.Thank you Talia

2022-06-28Believe it or not . Its clean. The rooms were all updated the ground look great. No garbage all over the walk ways. The room was tidy and the noise was very min. No micro wave or fridge in room or anywhere. That sucked. But laundry room and ice are avaiable. Price was fair.

2022-01-25I made a reservation online for two nights because I had just stayed there the night before and had a good experience when I arrived to check in the hotel property manager was working on site to help train new employees. She asked for my ID and my card I gave them both to her she proceeded to charge my card for the two nights then as she went to hand me my cards back she said oh these cards do not have the same names you cannot stay here I explained to her that my debit card had my middle name on it and I had just used these two cards to stay last night. She said because of procedure she could not let me stay I said if procedure was so important to her she would have remembered to check both cards prior to charging my card she then told me it would take 7 to 10 business days for the money to be refunded. I am now at a loss because of a mistake she made if thats procedure she should have checked it before charging my card and realistically she could have had human decency and said oh since it was my mistake and you clearly just stayed here last night u can stay but for future such and such.. horrible customer service cant believe shes property manager hope someone hire up talks to her .very dissatisfied

2022-03-14I used to work at this place back when I was 18. We needed a quick room because our other reservation at the Marriott was accidentally canceled we came to Motel 6 the reception was kind of rude we enter the room there’s bugs in my room there’s also the sheets felt itchy on both beds as if they weren’t wash properly or I don’t know but I would not recommend. Not for the price that they are requesting

2022-07-01I went to check into the hotel with my father-we traveled to CA for a funeral. I should have known it was bad when we were in the check in area. However we gave it the benefit of the doubt. It was so sketchy that my dad wouldnt let me get out of the vehicle to check out the room (Im 36). He went in, looked at our deluxe room and said absolutely not. We left right away and stayed at a different hotel. We had a large group of people who all booked at this hotel and we all found a different place to stay. I would give it 0/5 stars if I could. The staff were friendly, they did give us a full refund.

2022-06-12They had horrible wait time. Plus the check in person got our information wrong. Told us we cant get our room and sent us back. We payed through Expedia. Expedia said there was nothing wrong. The front desk person made the mistake. When we asked her before hand can you check again. She said no but when the Expedia people asked she did and it worked apparently she made the mistake. Her price was overpriced when we payed for it on Expedia it was cheaper. There was nothing wrong with my card I saw the payment go through.

2022-06-09If I could give this establishment 0 stars I would. In 2 days someone smashed my car window out stole my and my husbands wallets among other things from it and flattened my tire,, then the next day stole my bosses catalytic converter off his truck. That paired with drug dealers trying to sell us meth every time we walk by, ,I would not recommend this place for anyone

2022-06-16They oversold the rooms so we had to find another one at 10pm. Asked for many times to refund in person and via phone. In the end, I claimed it to credit card to get money back. This is the last time I stayed with notorious Motel 6.
