The team at Mossy Nissan Chula Vista is amazing and helpful in ever way from our salesman Israel the sales manager Abdul and the Finance Manager Jose Diaz, they have been nothing short of heroic in the purchase all 4 of our vehicles since we’ve lived in so cal. I recommend them all highly and appreciate all of their service for our vehicle’s!!!! Come to mossy Nissan and ask for any of their help!!!!Also id like to add that Josh is the best service person I’ve ever had work on my cars, he’s always kind and does amazing at his job!!!! I wouldn’t let me leave two reviews or I would have left him his own thanks again mossy family!!
I went to 4 different Mossy dealerships in San Diego with my Mom to help her buy out her lease on a 2019 Morano. She was pre-approved for a loan from her credit union, so youd think it would be an easy process, right? Nope. 2 of those dealerships INSISTED that we couldnt use our own financing and we had to use theirs. Okay, we had a percentage rate of 2.69%. They offered loans of close to 5% PLUS we HAD to purchase extended warranties AND an alarm, which the vehicle already had!!!! Huh? 1 dealership said they wouldnt even allow us to purchase with them because there wasnt enough money in it for them. Enter Mossy Nissan in Chula Vista. We entered the dealership and were warmly greeted by Leonardo Mendoza. Not only did he say we could use our own financing, but he even pretty much matched our 2.69% rate so we could conveniently do everything right there. on the spot. Yes, he did offer the extended warranty package, but said it was up to us and we certainly didnt have to buy it! THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT A GUEST at your business!!!! Everyone here at Mossy Chula Vista was wonderful. The other Mossy dealerships should send their staff to this location for a day of training to see how you take care of a customer. Do yourself a favor. If you want to purchase or have work done on your Nissan, go to Mossy Chula Vista even if its not close by. Well worth the trip!!
I got a flat tire. I called mossy cv to see if i could get assistance. They connected me to road service. Road service came to put the spare. Which i called back nissan to see if i could get in for a tire check. They ordered the tire and called me to go in to switch it out. Carlo was so attentive and courteous helped me through the whole process. Great young man.
My wife Jillian and I had an amazing experience with Mossy Nissan. Mr. Leo Mendoza was brilliant and very personable. His personality exuded honesty, empathy, and great professionalism and he is to be commended. His presence made the difference in our completing the transaction. It went well, the only thing that was questionable, I was told there were no loaner vehicles available for my 4 hour wait for vehicle inspection, then after I agreed to over a thousand dollars worth of work suddenly magically there was a very nice, beautiful, brand new loaner car available for me.These “small” details do not go unnoticed.
The salesman was very friendly and helpful in getting me my new car. He went out of his way to get me everything I wanted and explaining things in the cars operation that I did not understand. He also introduced me to the service department who managed to install the last couple of things I needed ahead of schedule because I happened to be there.Overall, I was very happy with my experience at Mossy Nissan CV.
As soon as I arrived I received help from Erick Ramirez, everything was explained to me clearly and I was able to understand the proses. He was really nice and showed me what my car needed. I let him know that I know very little about the fluid stuff and he explained that the brake fluid should be changed every 20,000 miles or so. Now I keep that in mind and look forward to my next appointment at Mossy Nissan Chula Vista.
Did internet shopping, Test Drove and took purchase of a new fully equipped Pearl White 2017 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum with extended warranty and GAP, for my wife and grand kids at this Mossy Nissan Chula Vista dealer. The COST OF THE VEHICLE without taxes, Lic., Docs. etc. was well below MSRP Base Price.Walked up late near closing, was greeted immediately, found they did not have the vehicle trim and options I wanted. Disappointed they didnt have the trim/options I stated at this conveniently located dealer, I bid farewell and said I was going to drive to a distant Mossy Nissan dealer because they had the one I test drove and at the price I was willing to pay. The salesman stated that they would retrieve it. Meantime, we went over the figures, options, rebates and discounts without obligation, answering my many repeated questions for clarity. Vehicle arrives, wife sees it for first time, a different salesman invites her to inspect it and test drive, while I continue with negotiations, get further discounts, drink up many cups of coffee/coco from state of the art machine, nice lounges. She wants it, We like the price we could afford, they prepare the vehicle, we get to finance, ask further questions WHY SO MUCH? THE TAX ADDS SIGNIFICANTLY/THOUSANDS TO THE TOTAL. THESE FEES, THOSE FEES, OPTIONS, THE DISCOUNTS/REBATES, DOWN PAYMENT and PERCENTAGE RATE. With clarity, we sign the contract and off we go. All in a little over 3 hours.Have not experienced the Service Dept.
I came in for an oil change at 12:30. 3 hours later and Im still waiting. theres free coffee and football reruns in the waiting room so Im not upset.EDIT: Ricardo and Eric saved the day. they were nice, professional and awesome. definitely made me feel valued. thank you.
The entire staff at Mossy Chula Vista was great. Angelo was our primary point of contact and he really assisted in a smooth new car buying experience. We recently purchased the 2022 Pathfinder and Angelo notified us as soon as the new model became available for viewing. It wasn’t the exact model we were looking for and Angelo provide us with daily updates. Unfortunately, the Nissan Hub does not provide transparency as to when vehicles will arrive at the dealerships which made the process a bit more frustrating. However, Angelo and his colleagues kept us in the loop as best they could which was really appreciated.Abdul was the individual who worked with us during the finance process. It was nice to work with someone who didn’t over promise and under deliver. He was knowledgeable and worked quickly to get provide us with accurate financial figures.Diego assisted us with the contract portion. He was very personable and took the time to really explain the various extended warrant options.The best part of this experience was not feeling pressured by a “pushy salesman.” Everyone treated us with respect, and we even received a follow call from Angelo after we made the purchase. He wanted to make sure we knew all of the functions and features of our new vehicle and it really shows that the staff is invested in their work and relationships.
Do not buy a Nissan from this dealership, they sell you lemons here and the salesman try to sell the car to other customers when your waiting to sign the paperwork and pressure you by saying first one to pull the trigger gets it. The Bluetooth does not sync up with any video streaming apps and they lure you to the dealership by telling you the car you wanted is available, but when you get there it sold.
This place is great, since I moved to San Diego county I also adopted Mossy Nissan Chula vista for my Nissan Altima 2012 maintenance and service, ever since I being coming back. What makes me come back is its staff specially Flocelo at the service counter he has the best attitude always, I could go to the Nissan near my job which would be much convenient to me but pretty sure will not get the customer service I am giving here. I have being a Nissan owner since my 2004 Titan than 2004 Sentra than the 2012 Altima than a 2013 frontier and now my 2018 Frontier. And have always preferred to service my cars at the dealership. Not to mention the delicious coffee and Donuts in the morning. I am just a happy camper at this place. Keep up the good job Flocelo AKA “Flo”.
I just had the easiest car buying experience of my life!I found a 2011 Nissan LEAF online and called to ask about it. Mossy Nissan Chula Vista offered to bring the car to me! That has never happened before. Long story short, Luis Reategui and Ian brought me the car, it was exactly what I wanted, and we took care of all of the paperwork at my home. I never even had to leave the house! All of my interactions with the team were great - Kim, the GM, Abdul, the General Sales Manager as well as Luis and Ian were pleasant and efficient.I dont know if this is the new way of buying a car, but if it is, i like it!
Cesar was awesome! I told him my issue, scheduled my appointment the next day and the issue was resolved within a couple hours after dropping my vehicle off. My experience with your dealership started with Service Advisor Ricardo. He had excellent communication with me and was pleasant to work with the entire time my car was in service. Ricardo answered every question without hesitation and even helped me with Nissan Consumer Affairs. This is a solid customer service employee... and definitely worth a pay raise! When I expressed to him my lease was up and I was on the fence of upgrading or keeping my current Rogue, he was the one who encouraged me to speak with Sales Team Member and connected me with Israel.I knew what I wanted and didnt want in my new car. Israel went on 2 test drives with me and patiently explained the differences between the trim packages to me without showing aggravation with my persistent questions. He put in a lot of time and effort seeing if we could get numbers we both agreed on. Between servicing my 18 Rogue and leasing a 21 model, I spent a week in and out of Mossy Nissan Chula Vista and not once did it feel like a tedious task. Israel even called to check on me 2 days after I got my new car to see how I like it. Great team, all around!
I request my oil change appointments online and they conveniently remind me prior to the appointment date just in case I forget. There is plenty of comfortable seating while you wait for your car, with amenities like coffee, hot chocolate, donuts, vending machines, clean restrooms.
I have a 2016 Nissan Frontier that I took for an oil change at 7:30am. I had a coupon for $29.99 that I presented to my service advisor, Jose. At 9:15am, I inquired about my vehicle. Apparently it was parked in the wrong lot which the oil technicians never noticed.I finally received my vehicle around 10am and was then charged $85. Luckily I noticed the overcharge before inserting my credit card. The whole process took about 2.5 hours for my oilchange. Please look carefully at your bill prior to paying. It could have beenan honest mistake but misplacing my vehicle at a different lot is unsatisfactory

I went in for a recall and oil & filter service I was told it will take around 2 to 3 hrs. I got out in 1hr. they did an awesome job and were very fast. I want to mention Mr. Flocelo Sandoval Service Advisor at Mossy Nissan Chula Vista who greeted me at arrival and is a very friendly and professional employee. Thank You!! Carlo was amazing, provided great customer service. He went above and beyond to meet my needs. The only problem is i think as a major dealership the customer shouldn’t have to bring in their own wheel lock key. In my six years of owning a maxima i never had to bring in my own key, this is very unexceptional. This issue needs to be fixed ASAP.
I’ve called their finance services multiple times throughout the day during multiple days of the week and they never answered (all calls were during their open hours). I’m starting to think they don’t even have a finance department. The call always goes to voicemail. I’ve left multiple voicemails and nothing throughout TWO WHOLE MONTHS. Gave them my name and everything needed to call me back. Doesn’t make sense.
I dont write reviews but my experience was so good i took the time to share this. They were professional from the start. Met us where we wanted to be met on price and didnt mess around with what was agreed to earlier over the phone. Nice and clean facility. Well designed layout. Multiple managerial staff people were friendly, caring, genuine, personable. We had time commitments that we needed to get to ans they really pushed the limit of how fast they could get everything done with expediency as best they could.
Before I went to Mossy Nissan Chula Vista I had gone to different other dealerships and sadly my experience was disappointing but, as soon as I arrived to Mossy Nissan everything changed. Cristian R. was wonderful ! I could really tell that he enjoys what he does. He greeted me with such enthusiasm that it was almost impossible for me to not feel the same way. During my visit he took the time to explain all the features on the car I wanted and he also explained the differences from other cars without me having to ask every single thing. He really was well prepared and it showed. After I bought my car I still had multiple questions regarding my contract and he took the time to explain every single detail on my contract. I really appreciated this because I had never experienced such an amazing and friendly service, specially after purchasing a car. Over all I am really happy with my purchase and I wanted to say thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Our car was having issues accelerating so we took it to Nissan off Main Street in Chula Vista. First off, every employee I passed from arrival to departure smiled and greeted me. It was very welcoming. Second and most specifically, I worked with Cesar. He was very friendly, professional and informative, a rare combination these days. He communicated what was wrong with our car. He was very communicative the whole process actually and when we hit a fork in the road about one of the services, he was very quick to reassure us it will be taken care of. We will definitely be returning to this specific location just for Cesar and his great customer service.
Josh in Services has been excellent! I bought my Rogue in July and he has been super helpful, knowledgeable, thorough and friendly every step of the way with my service needs. With my additional equipment installation requests, he is so prompt to keep me updated on ordering & delivery status, as well as scheduling appointments right away. Had a mechanical problem that was covered by the extended warrantee. Flo took care of everything, helped me get my courtesy vehicle, and kept me informed every step of the way. Left in a new Frontier. Time will tell if the trucks a winner but be assured that the good people at CV Nissan will do everything they can to take care of you. Christian, Orlando and Maria in finance all worked to get me in my truck. Their personal touch meant everything.Its tough finding a car deal these days. The American economic staple of supply and demand is quite apparent, but I bristle at the idea of dealerships promoting their own bailout plan through adjustments. Im really surprised that the manufacturers are letting them do it. They must realize the long term perception damage this does to an already maligned industry.This dealer, started at MSRP, didnt insult me by adding $$$ to the car, and didnt low ball me on my trade. Very fair and I left feeling satisfied and respected. All I can ask for these days.Update 10/12/21Rut roh! Alarm bells are ringing like crazy! My brand new truck broke on its first trip! They tell me it had to do with misfires and warning lights and cylinder deactivations and bad coils... But its fine now!!! Me: ???Dont really know what happened and doubt the dealer does either but Im really concerned that something was damaged internally and I wont know until it breaks again. More alarms? Remember that fine salesman, Christian? Ive approached him, asking for a straight exchange of vehicles. He was very concerned initially, now he doesnt even bother to respond to my texts asking for a meeting with management. Meanwhile, Im terrified to go down there and take possession of a faulty vehicle. Mind you, Im aware of protective laws for California dealerships, but Im not a lawyer, just a human and ask to be treated like one. I dont even know if I should blame Nissan or the dealer for having to deal with this.If youre interested, Ill post a resolution if I ever get there.Update 10/14/22All is well! Truck was checked multiple times by mechanics, advisors, even a factory rep and theyve all told me its good to go. Ill have to go with their word so Im taking it back.The remarkable thing is that the GM (Kim) reached out to me personally attempting a resolution. His care was really important to this trying process and helped a great deal.Another Nissan Frontier on the road!10/25/21Final updateThe truck broke again. Same problem moved to another cylinder. Kim was gracious again and took it back so Ive moved on. If this truck is an isolated problem, maybe Ill consider the Frontier on the future since its pretty darn nice. For now, I just cant do a brand new truck with problems.Thanks to Kim, Rich, Bill and the cool service advisors at Mossy. This dealership is worth a visit.
Worst dealership ever customer service is the worst experience ive ever had....got taken advatage of telling us theyd do a 180 dollar service for free and then continued saying they never said that and we had already signed the papers so we have to pay...the owner is unable to listen and wont do anything about any problem you have...saying i know my associates and they would never do that i trust them....if you want a good place to go to go to kearny messa theyll actually keep their word
Came here on whim to check out inventory and Nestor came to help me. He was very personable with great customer service and was very patient with me. I highly recommend Nestor especially if you want to get into the nitty gritty details of the finance part of negotiating. He will definitely work with you.
Cesar was great. I was able to make a same-day appt online and was taken right in upon arrival. I appreciated the diagnostic warnings for future appts to help me plan when I reach certain miles markers. I also like that was not oversold on maintenance and was able to use the coupon that was emailed to me.
Luis was very helpful and he tried everything he could to help me get my new car, I honestly didn’t expect to walk out of Nissan with a 2021 brand new rogue. Every single person i dealt with that day was very respectful, very nice, very professional and very patient. I am really pleased with their service and my brand new car. THANK YOU LUIS AND NISSAN!

Last year this dealership somehow mixed my email and number up for another individuals purchaseI never bought a car from them but they managed to fumble my information.After calling to resolve the issue the salesmen that sold the other individual the car contacted me and asked me to give him a positive review through one of the emails I received even though he knew I was not involved in purchasing the car which I found a bit uncomfortable.I asked for the issue to be fixed, but even now I still receive texts about that purchase.You cannot trust these people with your information it seems.
I was having a stressful couple of days trying to get a new spare key made for my car because I had misplaced the original, and Cesar one of the employees there helped me from the start. He really went out of his way to make the process as easy as possible, explaining to me what my best options were and how to go about it. Needless to say the customer service was excellent and the next time I go back with any issues regarding my car I’ll be sure to ask for him.

Came in with an issue that has been plaguing my car for about a year now unable to officially fix it on my own. Made an appointment and after speaking Cesar Arango, he made me feel as though my issue was important and assured me it would get fixed. He set some expectations with me about the process and after leaving the car with him, got a call back later on with the problem, cost and some friendly service on next steps. Was able to finally get my issue fixed thanks to Cesar Arango! Highly recommend this Nissan service place. Always treating people with respect and taking time to listen to my problem.Thank you for such wonderful service!
These guys are unbelievable. I went on wed around 6pm. They close @ 7pm I saw a few vehicles. I saw a crv and a rogue. I went to get prices and saved pictures. I went home and looked up the vehicles and did my research. I called the next day Thursday at 10:36am the rep remembered me and I asked him for prices with tax. He quoted me with an estimate around 23,700 roughly .. I looked online and screen shot it the rogue was 21,555. So that made sense. So I called in the afternoon to see if anyone bought it no one had yet. I said I would go after work, now they tell me price is 23,999 a difference of 2,444 in a matter of 4 hours and after I said I liked it? They said nothing changed and they quoted me wrong, they said the website never changed, i guess they didn’t know I screen shot it. I went in at 5pm and showed them the picture they said they have no control of pricing. And that is final price up 2,444$ in a matter of hours. I understand business but this is unethical they wouldn’t honor the price from that day and said that’s how it is right now. They said I should have purchased yesterday and this wouldn’t be an issue I said no “The price changed changed during the day from 11am-4:46pm” up 2444$ that was few hours ago right when I said I will come back. I understand low inventory and the market but I don’t understand business not keeping there words. Honest business is important and this is far from trustworthy. Date of 10-14-21
Very professional service. They made a great upgrade to their team by getting Cesar in the service department. He was awesome for years when I had my VW so I was surprised and happy to see him at Mossy Nissan! He remembered me before I realized it was him, that tells me he truly cares about his customers. Today’s visit was faster than expected, which is what everyone wants from the service team!
I had a very great car buying experience a Mossy Nissan in Chula Vista. Nestor Samayoa was my Car salesman. He did a phenomenal job. He is very personable, helpful, and he had a good sense of knowing what was ideal for me. I did not every feel forced to make this purchase, rather I felt them really expressing the warranty and comparing it to my old vehicle. Without getting into all the detail, Me buying this vehicle without a doubt was a very smart decision on my part and it came at a very good price. They worked with me. It was a smooth easy going experience. Nestor and Orlando guided me through. I am so happy with my Rogue. Thank you Nestor and Orlando for making magic happen. My experience with service advisor who went by the name Flo was amazing. Honestly, I knew that I was going to end up paying alot because i waited too long to fix the issue, but Flo made me feel alot better about it. I feel very confident in this place after having my car serviced here. Everyone at this Chula Vista location was smiling like they love what they do. My car is fixed and so far has been running so much better. Ill be paying more visits here for sure and i will recommend to others.
Nissan chula vista service department gets no stars from me!! Do yourself a favor and stay away. I scheduled online to have a hitch installed our brand new SUV we bought from this dealership. We showed up to our appointment only to be told they didn’t order the part. Mind you this was after waiting for over 30 minutes just to be told “we don’t have the part”. I was very frustrated and disappointed. i took time off work to be here. i asked to speak to the manager and that’s when it really went down hill. He was very argumentative telling me i should have called the service department to order the part. So basically it was my fault that his team didn’t order the part. At this point i felt completely defeated. I asked for me keys bc i wanted to get the heck away from that manager. never in my life as a service person spoken to me that way. On my way home i called Nissan in National City to schedule our instillation with them. i’m hoping that goes better.UPDATE: Management reach out to me the morning after i wrote this post and 100% took care of us. Josh took charge of handling everything. They gave us a generous discount and a free rental car. We will definitely be going back for any other needs we have for our nissan. It feels good to have a company really take care of its customers and make us feel appreciated and valued.
Ricardo Navarrete is always very attentive and has an awesome attitude. He quickly communicates with the service department and they work on my car as quick as possible. I’ve been taking my cars to Mossy for over 4 years now, I always feel safe when I’m out on the road, great job all the time.
I bought a car from this place and the freon needed to be replace within the same year. Two years later the freon needed to be replaced again however this time they informed me that I needed an air compressor because it was damage. Convientiely this time however my car was no longer under warranty. They could have replaced it two years ago but did no. They but freon KNOWING the compressor was damaged and did not replace it. Now they want me to replace it because warranty expired. Do not trust these people. If you buy a car from this place have your own mechanic look at it.
We visited a few dealers before we came to this one and wish we had come here before we went anywhere else. Upon arrival, the man who greeted us was super friendly and funny. Not pushy at all like some of the other salesmen we had dealt with prior. We felt comfortable and at ease, especially when we said we were interested in looking at electric vehicles and he said there was someone there who could better help us because he had one himself. Stephen, was awesome. He took his time explaining how the car worked and let us both drive the car making sure we were comfortable and allowed us to ask any questions needed. He got us a great deal, working with our budget and we had a very smooth transaction. Maria, the sales manager was extremely pleasant to deal with and took her time going over everything. Very thankful for this dealership and will definitely use again in the future and recommend to everyone else. Thanks again!
Every time I am in here, they are so attentive and swift with their service. You can tell that each persons mission is to make you happy and comfortable. Cesar A. in particular always goes above and beyond what is expected during each visit; a simple oil change can be such a draining experience but, but I always leave pleased!
It took me awhile to reschedule my appointment and get my O2 sensor fixed. I just had the most horrible experience from the first advisor (Flocelo) and from all the operators I’ve spoke to make an appointment. I asked to speak to a manager or and to be scheduled my service with a different advisor and they insisted I had to be speak to the same advisor, which made no sense especially after I told them that I was not happy with the service I got from Flocelo.The only reason why I came back to this dealership is because “Nissan” was covering half of the cost of my repair and they said it had to be done here or they’ll have to do another investigation if I decided to go to a different Nissan.When I finally scheduled my appointment, the people taking the calls were not at all knowledgeable about anything(not even the time of when they close).I called in before my appointment to make sure Nissan sent them the case informing them that they would cover half of the cost of the repair. This is where I had a change of heart. From being so hesitant for weeks of making this appointment thinking I’ll be stuck with the same lousy, unhelpful advisor... that uncertainty changed when my call was transferred to Carlos. He was so helpful and clear even when I first spoke with him on the phone. When I got to the dealership, he was so patient. He took the time to hear me out and to find the paperwork I needed to show him what other maintenance I got done from another mechanic. He tried so hard to help me utilize the 150 I had paid for the diagnostic. He Worked around so many numbers very patiently. Even though, he first wasn’t able to apply that 150 I paid for diagnostic. I was no longer upset because of how patient Carlo was. I’ve worked as a supervisor and in the customer service industry all my life and Carlo seriously gives the most genuine customer service ever. I was even telling my sister when I left the dealership that I couldn’t use the 150 towards the repair but the fact that I’m now with a nicer and caring advisor made a big difference on how I felt and bitter about this dealership and Nissan all together. This is where it gets even better! My original total bill would’ve been 300 after Nissan covers half of the repair. When I came back, Carlo surprised me with a much lower bill! Carlo truly made my day that day! Thanks to him.My experience with Carlo was way different from Flocelo. I asked him if I can use that 150 towards other repairs/maintenance and he says “You can only use this 150 credit towards the 2 most expensive repair/maintenance “. I told him I was unemployed and couldn’t afford that high of a cost right now but since I have to pay the 150 regardless, I asked if I can use it towards cheaper maintenance that way the 150 doesn’t go to waste and he won’t budge in and was absolutely not sympathetic. He said I can ask my manager if he can work on some numbers for the diagnostic cost, but says my total that I have to pay for without even calling a manager. When I first got there, Flocelo told me that the diagnostic fee is 150 and so I was aware of that. I asked, “what if it’s as simple as a $40 repair? Do I still pay for the $150?”, he says, “yes”. Didn’t make sense to me but I’ve been taking my car to Nissan since I first bought it for any repairs or maintenance, so I just left it there anyway. What’s more mind blowing is that I still had to pay the $150 even if the cost of the repair was cheaper, yet I couldn’t use the $150 that I have to pay for regardless towards other cheaper maintenance? Not sure if this is really how the dealership run or this is just how Flocelo make his numbers, but it is so wrong in so many ways.After my this visit and the service I got from Flocelo, I decided that I am not taking my car back to Nissan for anything. I also will not buy another Nissan(which is still the case, since I’ve had so many issues with my new car even if I have always brought it to Nissan for all my repairs and maintenance even if it cost more than if I were to bring it outside of the dealership).
Joshua Childers from Mossy Nissan Chula Vista was absolutely amazing. He is always very knowledgeable and helpful from start to finish. He keeps me updated throughout the whole process and makes it such a wonderful experience. He really make you feel appriciated and I know he always cares about his clients. He even answered additional questions I had and took time to make sure I was comfortable and happy with my service and questions I had. I also love the use of the tablets so he can walk around as he is filling out information so I could sit down since my health isnt the best. Truely I feel like family and I know my concerns are always taken care of beyond my expectations.
I took my 2016 Nissan Altima due to a recall for the hood latch. A courtesy inspection was conducted and I was presented with a list of recommended services. The problem is that 85% of those services had all been performed by another service center. The other shop once they completed the work they uploaded the completed services to CarFax. When I went to pick up my car I informed the service agent of the aforementioned and I asked him is Nissans Service Center checks CarFax so as to not include unnecessary work thats already been completed. The service agent indicated the Nissan of Chula Vistas Service Center does not check CarFax to review service records.
I went to get an oil change last week and have a recall item taken care of. I dropped it off on 6/30 and it wasnt done until 7/1. When I called on 7/1 to confirm it was done, i was hung up on. When I called back, the person who answered said the rep who helped me wasnt in. I told him I still want to know if its ready. He had no answer, so I told him Id come in.When I came in there were 3 lines and no indication which was which. I waited 15 minutes until I was helped. The person who helped was very friendly and polite. However, I was disappointed to find out that the air filter was not changed (I approved this the day before). I also have no indication as to what was done for the recall. It was not in my receipt. Lastly, when I picked up the car, it was not washed, as I have been accustomed to in previous visits.I feel the service lacked detail and I felt like a number and was being rushed through the process as it was a busy day. Busy or not, there should be ample time to make sure the customer is taken care of. Thats why I chose to make an appointment and not go through drive-thru oil change places. I expected more from a dealership. I may not return here again with any of my 3 Nissans.
I am very happy with my service! I was recommend to a specialist Cesar by my cousin CJ who has his hi mileage Altima service there . My 2016 Sentras transmission was shuddering bad at 118 thousand miles.. Cesar put me at ease to understand the issues and made recommendations that I followed and now my transmission runs great again! 👍 . Out of all the times I’ve been to this dealer, Cesar Arango was the best service advisor I’ve ever had. He was friendly, respectful, had great customer service and most of all he communicated with me about my car more than anyone I’ve had so far. Renato provided me with excellent service. I consider myself to be old school meaning your words are all that you have. I came in looking for a vehicle with a 350.00 payment, and no more. I am 59 years old and this is my first new car, because my life has been filled with struggle. It was even a struggle for me to make a commitment, but with the support of my wife, I did it. What I didnt like is that my main concern wasnt met from start to finish, because I had every intention of going home and coming back the next day to purchase the vehicle I liked, and one of the managers asked me if I would take it home that night he would meet my price. So I agreed but I told them I had to get to the house so my wife can go take care of business that was already set up. So I go home and bring my family back up, we waited for the papers to take it home be filled out, which I was told would take a half hour. It was suggested that I could make my down payment using a credit card instead of coming back the next day and close everything out, so I did all of these things because they were going to meet my price point. I ended up putting the down payment on my credit card, and I was taken in the back where the paperwork was processed. Then I was told about a security program and two other items which were highly suggested, and I agreed with their comment as well, especially with this new car, but I became angry when it would take my guaranteed price of $350.00 to $416.00. The gentleman then proceeded to explain to me that they do this back here because of how much a customer has to go through before they get back here, and I responded that he shouldve guaranteed the offer after he finished with me back here. In the end, I didnt get the price that he guaranteed because I chose to pay for two out of the three items recommended, and I now have a $380.00 a month payment. And for some reason, the half hour process that I was told it would take lasted for at least an hour and a half, causing me and my family to be late to our previous appointment. The gentleman who proceeded the paperwork tried to tell my salesman Renato about explaining this to the customer ahead of time, but it kind of contradicts his explanation of why they do this part back there. Renato was quick and efficient. I did get the car that I wanted, but I was disappointed with what me and my family had to go through, only to not get the deal offered to me.
To be honest I was hesitant to bring my car to for service but Mr. Cesar was great from the minute I drove in he went on and above to ensure service on my car got done. And the following day I brought in my second Nissan for service.Thank you so much definitely recommending the service department.
Very unusual to get a call from the Retention folk. I was very hesitant, but the sales person worked out a deal that this old veteran couldnt pass up. I replaced my 2018 Pathfinder with a 2020 Pathfinder, lowered my monthly payments, lowered my interest rate and got 6 years GAP insurance. Who could pass up a deal like that??? I still find too good to be true!!! Go Nissan!!!

For the last two months, my 2019 Rogue with around 14K miles has failed to start four times. I had to jump started it using another car battery. I called Nissan and explained the issue. The Nissan representative advised me to take the Rogue to the service department. There, the service personnel tested the battery, and after about two hours they completed the test and decided to change the battery.So far, so good. The Rogue has not had any further electrical issues since.Thanks Nissan Service Dept. personnel for all your help.
I had a great experience! Cesar went above and beyond for me. He gave me a very detailed discription of whats being done to my car. He also suggested to me some preventative measures to make my car last longer. Since I was a little tired. The waiting room was very comfortable. The staff was great even stayed well after closing to help me get into my car. My sales rep was great. He worked with me to get what i wanted. The finance department was great as well. he was talking with bank after bank to help me get into a car. It took a lot of back and forth but he got it done.
Excellent customer service. 1st time at this Mossy Nissan. I picked this location over Kearny Mesa because this one allowed me to wait in the lounge while my car had routine maintenance done. Upon arrival for my appointment, I was attended to immediately. Every staff member I came in contact with was courteous & friendly. My service advisor Cesar is wonderful. He exemplified great customer service & attention. Everyone present observed physical distancing guidelines & wore masks. The waiting lounge & restrooms were very clean. Highly recommend this Mossy Nissan & I prefer this Chula Vista location over Kearny Mesa now.

I went in for a check engine light on my Titan. Flocelo took my truck in right away found out the problem and fixed it just in time before a trip I had scheduled that week. Very fast and friendly service not only with him but with the rest of the staff as well. Definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had with dealerships.
Ive been having my car serviced here at Mossy Nissan Chula Vista since 2017 and Im just blown away by the EXCEPTIONAL service I receive. With the Covid 19 crisis, I chose their valet service which allows a technican to pick up your car and return it to you when service is complete. You have the luxury of staying at home and knowing that youre safe by minimizing exposure to the public. My service technician was Ceasar and he was absolutely amazing! From our initial conversation on the phone, I was greated with a warm, caring, nice and friendly personality. His customer service skills were impeccable! His ability to go above and beyond the minimal expectations and performing his job satisfactorily was effortless. He was very knowledgeable about the services required for my car, answer all my questions and kept me updated throughout the process. He took the time to ask how me and my family were doing and/or impacted by the Covid 19 crisis and thanked me repeatedly for my services as a frontline worker. I was very touched and uplifted. I just want to start by saying I have anxiety and I try to accommodate based on my needs instead of disclosing this and have to inconvenience someone. I went in for a 5,000 mile service on 05/19/20. Ivette “helped” me. I asked how long the service would take and she said an hour. I decided to wait at Nissan because I know this is something that is doable for me. After waiting a bit more than an hour I asked how much longer it would take, by this time I was already very anxious and she said about 30 more minutes. It didn’t make sense for me to have someone pick me up which would take approximately 15 minutes to do so and then 15 minutes to drive home, so I waited. I ended up waiting for about 2 hours and a half. At this point my anxiety was so bad I just wanted to cry. I got in my car and my seat was moved, which I understand as to why someone would have to do it. I just wanted to get out of there and the car wasn’t driving as it usually does and I see a warning to take off the hand break. At this point I was already having an anxiety attack and couldn’t remember where the hand break was, when I use it everyday day after parking my car at home, so I drove a couple blocks with the hand break on. If Ivette would of said it would take approximately 2 hours to get my car service I would called someone to pick me up instead of having anxiety. I’m not mad that it took two hours, I’m upset at the fact that I asked a question so I could accommodate to my anxiety and took her word, to end up having an anxiety attack. This dealer is not horrible. I bought my car here and the service was amazing. However if I can avoid it, I won’t have my car serviced here again.

We inquired about the car online and we’re able to complete everything online, and over the phone! Nestor even delivered the car, let us test drive it, and complete the remaining paper work on our patio. All this was done with care, considering the current pandemic, wearing a mask gloves, and keeping social distance, which was a plus! We love our Nissan Rogue!

First time buyers at Mossy Nissan, and loved the experience. All around from start to finish. Joe took amazing care of us. Let us look without being overbearing, yet super knowledgeable about the cars we were interested in. Refreshing for a change from the typical car sales experiences we have had in the past. To even have the general manager Kim Yuquimpo (Military Veteran - Thank you again for your service, Kim! ) come around and meet us, and see him work directly with his employees, and not just in some office or even not there (because it was a Saturday), shows how much he cares and how involved he is with his company. I have never seen that either. Truly a genuine experience. Loved the coffee, snack area as well since we were there for about 3 hours. Very clean, classy and treated with respect. Not just another sale, not just another transaction. Thank you so much for making this a great experience !!! We love our 2019 Nissan Altima and would go back to these two guys for another car or truck in the future. Thanks again Joe!!!!!!!!!
Liars!!! general sales manager Abdul is a liar! convinced me to make a trade in to get rapid increase of credit score and to refinance in six months! Apparently, Santander consumer bank do not refinance!!and my credit score has only when up 3 points in 7 months. They are liars do not fall for this unless you have a GREAT credit score. Your credit score won increase more than 10 points yearly and you will give thousands of dollars jut for interest. Invest in other things better! Do not fall for this dealership full of liars!

This was my wife and I first big purchase together and he was the perfect guide to helping us understand our financing options, cars to choose from as well as understanding the complete deal. I was close to purchasing an SUV from this dealership, but the sales guy made a huge mistake with me. They were the first ones I went to, when I started my car search. The salesman was very nice and it was evident they wanted my business (unlike some other dealerships). They gave me a really good deal, but since they were the first place I stopped at, I wanted to keep my options open and see what other dealerships had to offer. After 3 weeks of shopping, I reached out to the sales guy who originally assisted me. Since the previous quote expired the day after it was given to me, I asked him if he could get me a new quote. He proceeded to tell me that he would need a guarantee before he can ask his managers to take the time to put together the quote. I told him I wasnt going to give him a guarantee and if it was too much trouble Id look somewhere else. He changed his attitude and said he would get the quote from his manager. Over 2 hours later, he messages me asking when Id be in so they can get me a quote. I never responded and went to the National City location, instead. I told the other place what had happened with this location and they made sure not to piss me off. 2 days later I left with my new Rogue.
We just purchased a used vehicle from this dealership and although it took nearly 8 hours, we couldn’t be happier. The staff here is so friendly and they make sure you’re getting worth for your money, very professional and carrying, and they work with you to meet in the middle if you have your mind set on a specific car.Thank you Mossy in Chula Vista, we will be recommending our friends to this location.
Luis Reategui in Lease return was extremely helpful and responsive via text message before I even came into the dealership. Once at the dealership, Ian was all hands on deck to help me figure out my best options. He showed me a Moreno which wasnt exactly what I was looking for but after listening to the list of things that were a priority to me in a vehicle, we looked at a Pathfinder and test drove it. It was what I was looking for, so Ian and his colleague Orlando crunched numbers and showed my my financing options. Ian and Orlando were great to work with. Diego in finance was very personable and informative. Ken the GM was friendly as well.

My last experience was great as Ricardo Navarrete, the service manager, made sure all of the tasks were completed at the highest level. He always explains to me the scope of service, the expected time of completion and what to expect for the next visit. He personalizes the support and takes care of business with confidence. The sales manager Luis Reategui is helpful as well and keeps me up to date with service dates by checking in to see how things are going with the vehicle.

Service advisors and manager are nice and polite but I’m no longer 100% sure I can trust them. During my last 2 visits, they urged me to have my drum brakes replaced ASAP. I had my mechanic friend check for me rather than agreeing to pay $300 at Nissan to get them done right away. Of course my friend told me that I still have half the life left on my brakes, which would be another 30-40k miles. Not sure if this is Nissan’s way of luring naive individuals to spend $$$ or what?? I will likely be back because I have a prepaid maintenance package but I will be extra cautious should they recommend that I need any extra paid services done on my car.
I was happy when I walked in and seen Angel, he has been my service rep each time. He is friendly and knowledgeable. Never a pressured sale, which I really like. Fast and efficient work. I will use Mossy for my future needs. 5* to Angel and to the service department. Thank you.

Ive purchased a few cars at this location and referred a couple of others who have also purchased here. Ive never once had a bad sales experience from this dealership. Stephen Powell is the best salesperson I have ever dealt with! Not once did I ever feel any pressure to buy. He always tried his best during negotiations, and always got the job done within my price range. After all the years of dealing with him, hes not just a salesman, but also a friend. Hes a good person with values and will take great care of you and your family. The finance department makes the paperwork as easy and as fast as possible, making sure you know all the details of the transaction. If youre needing a new car ask for Stephen!
I came to Mossy Nissan for a check engine light and they were able to diagnose and fix the problem all on the same day. I did not even have to make an appointment. I also did not have to pay a single penny because it was covered by my extended warranty. I dont often come to dealerships for car problems because my family doesnt trust them for some reason, but after my experience here, I will definitely be coming back for more services.
Cesar was the service manager that helped me and he was so nice, knowledable and put my fears to rest about waiting in the service lounge while my car was being worked on. With COVID-19 running rampant everywhere, he assured me that they were taking all necessary precautions to protect customers and employees alike. I liked how the lounge was positioned so everyone had at least 6 feet between them and there was hand sanitizer everywhere. When my car was ready Cesar explained everything they checked and the results, and was able to get my door handled replaced under warranty without any problems. I will definitely keep coming back to Mossy Nissan Chula Vista even though the El Cajon location is closer because theres something to be said about feeling safe with your dealership. FYI.. I bought my car, a 2017 Nissan Sentra SV, in November 2019 and I love it!
If I could give a negative star I would! I had requested stock #720763 for $29,032 and was quoted for that stock #. I agreed to purchase the car and came in to sign. The whole process was rushed and nothing was really explained. I felt like we were an inconvenience for coming towards closing so I just followed through trusting that I was being offered what I was sent through in text message. I received a text message from my sales associate Leo the next day saying to contact him anytime if I had any questions so I looked through my contract again. I didn’t get the price I was asking for and I did not get the truck I asked for either as it is still being advertised for sale. I still have a paper trail of the text exchange stating that the aforementioned stock # is what was agreed on. I texted Leo a few times after and even emailed the general manager Kim and Leo on this situation and gave them both a few hours to respond. I ended up calling the store asking for Kim. When they were about to transfer me they asked my name to where my call was diverted to Orlando. He explained things to me and threw in free mats but I’m still not happy at the fact that the truck that we had agreed on is still posted for sale and I get charged $5000 more than what I wanted. My husband saw Leo walking around the store while I went to pick up the mats and not one effort was made to apologize, Kim brought me to pick up the mats but acted like nothing happened and like he didn’t even remember me. To this day I still have not received ANY response back from either of them. On top of that my intention was not to buy a truck if I couldn’t get the price and deal I wanted as I wanted to participate in the deals going on because of the pandemic. I’m a respiratory therapist and my husband is a nurse. We are now just getting our finances back on track and work hard for our money literally putting out life on the line to care for people who may be or are already infected with this highly contagious virus. It is scary but we also look towards others to care for us in return by not using predatory practices and dishonesty to get a sale.
Horrible. I took my car in because the check ingine light whent on my car. They told it was something on the transmision. They said they had turn off the light. When i get in my car the light was on again. I was charge 150 dollars for nothing. I had to take my car somewhere else were they told me the transmission needed oil. I cant belealive the tech at nissan didnt see it was meissing oil. IM really upset
We bought my husband a car here a week after buying myself a car at a dealer a couple miles away. Our experience was everything you hope it be and so much more! Stephen took his time explaining everything about electric vehicles to us and showed us all the cool features that the Leaf has to offer before we made a decision in whether we wanted to go that route. He was extremely knowledgeable and very professional as well as patient. We have children we had to leave to pick up in the middle of the sale.... and he did everything he could to get us the best deal possible. I wish I had waited to buy a car and had gotten mine here as well! We will definitely be back! As long as Stephen is still working here anyways :)
I bought my car here about a year and a half ago. This past weekend I found out I had animals nesting in my engine. Thanks to Caesar he got me into a rental til I was able to get my insurance on it. This is the third car I purchase from Mossy Nissan and it is probably not my last. Mossy Nissan makes car buying and leasing easy to understand, no pressure, and with such willingness to help. This experience started with an appointment with Jose Diaz de Leon who listened to what I needed in a car and what my budget was. He was willing to show me all the new features that have improved in the Nissan Sentra and set me up to test drive a car. He was also willing to show me other color of cars I was interested in seeing and showed me other versions of the vehicle. Working with Maria Gomez on the paperwork was a breeze, she takes all the stress away from filling out the paperwork. She was able to explain to me the cost of the car, service packages, and even helped me ensure that I understood the type of insurance coverage my new lease required. The general manager Kim Yuquimpo also stopped by during my car buying process to check-in and offered to be available for any questions I had. Overall Mossy Nissan surpasses the expectation of what a car buying experience should be like. All staff worked as a team and I am so exited to drive my 2020 Nissan Sentra. I was not sure that i was going to get the car because i dont have the best credit score and i got it close to i was looking for.Amazing customer service by renato perez, he was amazing, is the first time i go to a dealer and get a great service, many sellers i have talked have a bad humor, renato did a amazing job and i actually recomend some friends to go with him.
We were looking to trade our larger car in to save gas and decided to look at Toyota RAV4 and Nissan Rogues. Both car dealerships were right across from each other. Jesse and his whole team at Mossy Nissan were genuine and professional compared to the other dealership and this is part of the reason why we chose to purchase a Rogue with Jesse. Jesse and his team were patient and gave us the space to decide and answered all our questions fully. I was there on 8/8/19 walking around the vehicles, when this young man came up to me and asked if I had any questions. I told him that I was looking, he went ahead and let me know that he was there to assist or answer any questions I may have.In that case, I told him tell me a bit about the Rouge. He was telling me as much as he could, and then mentioned that if he by any chance did not have an answer, that he would definitely find out for me. I realized that he was new at this, I happen to be a trainer at my place of employment. I was not ready to buy, but I assured him that I would come back. I care back 8/10 and I immediately ask for Sergio. I mentioned to my wife that I would like to give him our business, and that he might benefit throughout the process.He’s a good kid, please give him a chance and I guarantee that he will do well. I went for my 5000 miles service. All staff was nice especially the gentleman who assisted me Flocelo Sandoval ( FLO) . He was very knowledgeable and patient with me. I requestEd a shuttle that was provided on a time manner and also got complimentary doughnut and coffee. All staff had smiles on their face, seems like everyone loves to come to work early in the morning. Thank you.
This place has always treated me and my family well. The service department is very good. Ask for Gabriel when you get there, he is honest and gives you great feedback on your vehicle and takes his time to explain everything.For sales, Jose is the go to guy, he never rushes you and gives you time to make a purchase. He listens to your needs and is not pushy.Unfortunately, i cant give the 5 stars because there car selection is limited, especially there used choices.

I meet Nestor at the Chula Vista Nissan Dealer and he instantly made me feel like a friend and not a customer.He took me on a couple test drives and took his time explaining features, pros and cons per vehicle according to my driving needs.I left the dealership with no car but decided to come back because of Nestor’s Honesty, Guidance, friendliness and because I never felt pressured to buy something I wasn’t going to like or need or want in my near future.Nestor showed me many different options when it came to signing. He even explained the pros and cons of financing vs Leasing and he made sure I chose the most comfortable choice for me.Nestor had a friendly vibe through it all and made my purchase experience the best one I’ve ever had!To all the people behind the scenes…. 2022-06-28Brought my vehicle to the dealership this past Saturday for an oil change and their complimentary inspection. They were a little busier than usual but I was notified promptly that it would take some extra time for my vehicle to be completed. When it was finished, I spoke with Amber about the services done, what services were recommended and what issues were found during the inspection. She was professional and knowledgeable about the process happening inside of the garage. She also went over the paperwork ensuring that any questions I did have were answered before I signed off on the paperwork. Will definitely continue to come back for services in the future.

2022-03-31Joshua Childers and Mr. Vargas helped me out when I got there. They were really helpful. I live pretty rural but work in the area so I called once to reschedule my appointment so I could get my tires done on the way into work. They were very accommodating in Chula Vista when I called. They made sure the work was done and I was able to get out of the shop to be on time for work. I was happy with the price I paid relative to other shops I called.

2022-04-01I wasnt a fan of Nissan truthfully at first. I was always a Honda and Toyota owner. I came in here to get an oil change . Now I had no intentions of getting a new car. Nor was looking to leave with one the same day I went in there. As I waited I was greeted by a gentlemen by the name of Christian. He was so polite and knowledgeable as far as car product goes. Now Im used to pushy salesman. I also wasnt 100% either because of my credit and not wanting a high car payment. He genuinely wanted to put me in a car that fit my needs not his pocket. I was having issues with my current car and I stressed that, but he was so willing to work with me and had a solution for almost every complication I was facing as far as getting a new car or putting me in one. He really took the time to listen and made it so easy. I am proud to say that I am glad I came here and lucky enough to have had him help me through the process. I have zero regrets about my car purchase and if I decide to buy another Nissan I would most definitely come back and speak with Christian. I highly recommend him here.
