I had a great experience in buying my 2nd Toyota car at Barstow Toyota. Mark Attala was my salesman and hes excellent to work with. He took care of all my needs and enjoyed working with him. He even delivered my car to my house in Los Angeles. I highly recommend Mark for any car you may need. Look for him.
Had my Mini towed to Mojave Toyota to get a new battery, vehicle was their three days, was told on Monday vehicle is ready for pickup, and it did not need a new battery. I get it home , next morning it doesnt start! Guess thats what I get for taking my vehicle to a local dealership foe service! It may not be suitors, but its still the same old people working there. Customer service is take it or leave it. You should visit down below to see what Customer service is really like. Just because we live in a small town doesnt mean we have to take less.
I went to Mojave toyota after my horrible experience at valley high Toyota. My experience at Mojave was amazing. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. My salesman Venancio V Zetina was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He didnt pressure me into anything and I really enjoyed that feeling. I will be recommending anyone that is in the market for a new vehicle to V!
Julie at Mojave Auto helped me get into my new Toyota. Not only did she help get me approved but when they offered me a high interest rate she negotiated with the bank to get my a better rate, an doable monthly payment and all with gap and warranty included. Then she delivered my car to me. I still cant believe it and am so happy for everything theyve done for me.
We were driving in from out of town and experience some mechanical problems stopped in and had a very good and professional experience. From the guy at the service department to the sales girl all around best experience, they went above and beyond to get us back on the road.
My experience was bad. Started out ok but once I started asking questions about why my back window auto latch doesnt work and where was my alarm system I began to get the run around. The sales mgr even told me Toyota doesnt have that feature which is a lie. I was so insulted by the way they talked to my I just blew them off.
Found your employees to be very warm and welcoming. Problem was diagnosed and repair accomplished quickly. My only complaint is I came in with a half tank of fuel and departed with my fuel light on. I believe while out on a test ride I may have been siphoned. If I’m ever presented with the need to return I will note the level of fuel and have the service writer acknowledge and provide me with an estimate of how much fuel the technician may use to accomplish the diagnostic test
To begin don’t let “Barstow” scared you because there service has been way better to me than Ram in Victorville.Robert: I believe he’s the service manager. I scheduled an appointment due to a check engine light, but canceled three days prior because the light went off. I called a day before the actual appointment because it came back on and he took me anyways.Caleb: He’s the one taking care of my truck. He keeps me updated and didn’t give me a hard when I call for updates. He was very helpful.Barbra: She was the person I went through for my rental. Super nice and super sweet.Overall: I had a good experience and have no complaints. More to follow once I get my truck back.
The sales and financing staff were awesome. Great communication and the process was easy. There is one issue that should have been mentioned prior to purchasing. My car only came with one smart key.(It is technically a used car, but with only 3k miles). Apparently the second key was not turned in with the car. I was not informed of this until after I had signed all of the paperwork. I will have to pay over $300 if I want a spare. Seems a considerable charge like that should be disclosed when it’s assumed that cars come with two keys. It’s a blemish on what otherwise was a great experience.
I was given a time estimate of about an hour and a half, for the 60,000 mile check up and oil change, so I chose to stay there and wait and it ended up being two and a half hours with no explanation of what was taking longer. Then when I was going through the checklist of things they had done on the 60,000 mile checkup, I noticed they had checked off that my windshield was fine even though a few days earlier a rock had hit my window and left a crack in it. That left me wondering if they completely checked everything else. And then it showed that I had corrosion on my battery that they did not fix. When Ive been to other dealerships for work and something minor like that comes up theyll ask me if I would like to pay to have it done right then. Mojave Auto does not do that so now if I want it done I have to make another appointment just to take a little corrosion off my battery. And for these reasons Im giving them only three stars.
Dealing with complicated and lengthy auto repairs is never easy. Mojave Toyota CDJR of Barstow took excellent care of my Jeep during the entire process and ensured that it was repaired correctly. Robert, in the service department, was one of the best Ive ever worked with. He was responsive, thorough and truely cares about his customers. Highly recommend Mojave Toyota CDJR of Barstow to anyone in need of service or a new vehicle!
Great Service team, very attentive to correct mistakes, which I appreciate from a dealership. The service manager of the location is very understanding and was willing to go out of his way the make my experience positive and made sure my vehicle was taken care of. I will definitely be back for warranty work in the future while I live in the area!!
Took vehicle in to have 3 recalls done. Was asked while dropping it off (on a Friday morning)if it was ok to leave it overnight,should we have too, if that was a problem in which I agreed it was ok since I was told while making the appointment that 2 were hardware updates and one was an actual repair. So would be simple for them to do.Fast forward to the next day i had no phone calls so i call and then advised that not only is the service advisor off but so is the tech working on the car? Thank you for that info yesterday 🙄. So i ended up without my vehicle for 3 days total. I call on Monday and the service advisor got snappy trying to tell me he never said he would only need it left overnight? So now im a liar to him.. got it. The only positive is the tech did help me resolve a minor oil leak i had.. otherwise your service advisor was trash
I’m so thankful for Toyota tech, Brian Martin at the Barstow Toyota dealership. I was having trouble with my breaks and I had several people prior to him look at them, and no one could figure out what was wrong. Thankfully when I took it to Brian he knew what was wrong right away and was able to fix them! I will definitely be taking my car back to him for future repairs! I’d also like to add that his customer service was great! He took time to explain what was wrong with my breaks and I really appreciated that!
Edit- dont go to valley hi either their just as bad now too . I had good luck with longo Toyota which sold for MSRP.5K markups on cars, if you are willing to save 3K just drive to Victorville were you can at least see the transparent dealer pricing online before you get there.Their service portion has been good to me though.
The service was great. Fast and on time. Got me back on the road. Would recommend.This is my second review as Google just wants to apend my first one. So my second visit. I needed to get my truck a smog check. I had no appointmentI was going to make one. Robert said no problem it will be done in an hour. WoW. Again got me back on the road fast
Great service and communication! I brought my car in for a scheduled maintenance check and Robert notified me of a recall for a part in my car and made sure to schedule the install for the new part while he ordered it then and there! My car had the oil filter replaced and the tires rotated all within 2 hours time. The mechanics did a fine job! Thanks everyone!
Service is usually excellent however this time they replaced my tires and I had a few issues. First they scratched my rims, the “tire machine”. Was told they would contact me that evening. Noticed on my way home they knock out a sensor so they were informed on that. I was Told they would call me back within 24 hours. I have been there physically 4 times and it has been ten days and still have yet to get it repaired and or replaced or even called to be informed of a status. Not real happy right now with this service.
This dealership went above and beyond to get us into our 2021 Toyota 4Runner. The staff there is amazing. Our salesperson Oralia was super awesome to deal with and polite the entire time. I would definitely go back to purchase another vehicle through them just for the outstanding service. Thanks to all of you guys that got us into our new car! Dylan was the sales person that helped us. He was very friendly and knowledgeable which helped a lot. We got to the dealer an hour before closing and it took us more than an hour to decide on the purchase and do the paperwork but all the staff was super friendly and made us feel comfortable they were not pushing us out the door like some other dealers. Overall experience was excellent 👍🏼
Mojave Toyota Dealer made me feel good! I had talked w Robert Service Dept. About incident of my car overdue with check engine light and my car has smoke coming from the engine. I spoke to Robert. He said come down and let me check it out. I was traveling from San Bernardino California to Mesquite Nevada. Half way coming to Barstow. Engine light came on and I was trying to be calm. Moment waiting on the car. I was told was Transmission overfilled. I was upset but they drained it and fill with clean fluids n ran my car. I was happy. After driving it on my way home. I didnt face any problem and I was grateful of Robert be Understanding and he didnt hesitate Just told me bring your car. He was Awesome n Helpful. Thank you, Robert I made it home safely. It was hot temperature 106° but my car is liked new. Thankful to Robert and thank you lady who got me a soda from cashier dept. She was very sweet n nice lady. She was friendly and hard to find people sweet. blessed her heart and Mojave Toyota Of Barstow thanks for having great people to have excellent customer service!! Its a 💯 .
I needed a major level of maintenance (130,000 mile) work done on my 2010 Doge Dakota. Scheduled the work a couple of weeks in advance. Since I live about an hour and and 45 minutes away from the dealership, I stayed there the whole day. All of the Mojave Auto Group personnel whom I dealt with were most professional, effective and friendly. Caleb (Service Manager) clearly explained aspects of the proposed work and kept me well-informed of the status. Robert (another Service rep) took over the coordination functions towards the end of the workday and assured me that the work on my truck would be completed prior to the mechanics securing for the day (allowing me to get back home). My sincere thanks to all!
At first I thought they would have keep me up to date on the process and yet I kept calling to see on it. They did call me back to let me know what really went down on my van. After the call and two hours later, another call to let me know its complete and ready for pick up. The prices wasnt that bad either. I still say thank you to them for the job well done
Amazing! Right to the point! No gimmicks! I was always under the impression that buying vehicles in barstow was more expensive because, well we are in barstow and everyone always said that, that is a lie. I searched every dealership between here and San Diego and I wasted all my time driving going to different dealerships getting the run around. Came back here, found a car I loved, told them what I was looking for payment wise, etc... and they made everything fit, got the car(with an awesome lifetime warranty) and was out of there before lunch! Definitely would recommend this place over and over! Dillon the sales guy there was awesome! The finance guy was amazing! If you are looking for a car dont waste your time just come here!
Dillon the sales agent was absolutely a gem. He was so patient with me. I told him the terms I wanted with buying the car and he abided with my instructions. I was torn between a couple of cars, but he helped me with pros and cons of each car. The financial manager was great, no pressure, kind and knowledgeable. Car broke down 20 miles out of Barstow. I had a long couple of days trying to figure out what to do as I was over 100 miles from home. I called mojave toyota and V answered. I told him what kind of car I was looking for and he texted me with pictures and information immediately. We started the credit app as soon as I got there and I was expecting another long, grueling day ahead. We went for a test drive and as we finished he handed me over to Ken the financial manager. Both of these gentlemen made the car buying process so smooth and simple and made the whole experience so amazing. They are friendly, care about your time, and dont try to oversell or force you into any car. Would highly recommend them and mojave toyota to anyone looking for their next car purchase.
Sales was good.Service is useless. Made 3 appointments. When I arrived for 1st and 2nd they couldnt find them in their system.2nd was a warranty repair. Once diagnosed they had to order parts. Somebody dropped that ball. Weeks later I checked with parts. Available in 2 days. Walked parts guy to Service. Took weeks more to get another appointment.Appointment was on a Friday morning so asked to be notified of completion or problems in case I had to get a rental. No calls so showed up an hour before closing. Car was already completed but no one had called.Service seems to be undermanned or they wouldnt have to set appointments 2 to 3 weeks out.Biggest problem seems to be lack of follow through
I thought this Toyota dealer/service Area was amazing! The games, snacks, cleanliness, and close to a major store was great! I got all my car service needs taken care of, including tires. Unfortunately one of my tires was not put on the rim correctly and I had a flat a day and half later out in the middle of nowhere on my way back to California, but the Toyota dealer in Barstow (when I finally made it there, I was like 90 miles away driving on my donut spare) took care of my tire.
Customer service was horrible. They almost never answer their phones and never returned messages. Outwardly people were friendly, but so very not helpful. My car broke down in the area and they were my only choice. They made a very stressful situation significantly worse. We ended up having our car shipped to a different location so we wouldnt have to deal with them anymore.
I wish I could give them more stars because they were fantastic! We were driving back from San Diego to Utah and we heard something rattling on my sienna. I was so worried that they were not going to be able to get us in, if they did it would cost a lot and take a lot of time. We rolled in and the staff took care of us right away! They got us in and out so fast and the price was fantastic! Seriously saved what could have been a horrible way to end a great vacation! Thanks for your compassion and professionalism. Everyone went out of their way to help!
I bought a RAV4 Hybrid XSE on 8-21-21 and couldn’t be happier. Kristie walked me through the entire process over the phone as I live almost 100 miles away from Barstow. She personally delivered the vehicle to my house for free and I signed the paperwork at home. The lifetime power train warranty provided by the dealer really impressed me. I was most impressed with Kristie as she was upfront, friendly, professional and respectable. She let me know upfront that there was a markup due to the incredible demand for this vehicle. Other dealers kept this information from me and would have me drive to the dealer only to find out about the markup at that time. Kristie being upfront really sold me as I realized that Mojave Auto Group is a respectable and trustworthy dealership. I’m 57 and this has been the most pleasant auto buying experience in my lifetime! I would strongly recommend working with Kristie of internet sales at Mojave Auto Group, Barstow, California.
My wife and purchased 2 cars this week from V. As we live in Phoenix, we did our shopping on line. V did everything he could to make our shopping experience the best. And for that, he sold us 2 cars, delivered them to us, and checked back with us to make sure everything is OK. When time come, we will definitely keep Mojave in mind.

We traded in our 2018 Highlander for a 2021 Venza Limited Hybrid. The staff we worked with was wonderful at all points in the transaction. After we signed the paperwork, they had even found an additional $1000 bonus for us, so we redid the lease paperwork to save some additional money. That was really impressive to me, as we’d already signed the paperwork. Couldn’t be more please with the service we received.

I have noticed that several times the car wasnt fully checked like specified on the paperwork. Also one of the employees let it sleep that they could just turn off the maintenance required light so I could go about my day. 😳 wow! They correct themselves, but that still makes me question how many times they may have done this in the past.
Toyota’s service department always takes great care of me. Makes sure that my car is well taken care of and handled in a timely manner. Sam is absolutely amazing and always makes me feel like all my concerns are understood. She got me in right away and got my car back to me sooner than I expected! 10/10 recommend Mojave auto group for all service parts and sales needs.
Every person there was helpful during what was a stressful (even though it was minor) breakdown. From Caleb, who I talked to on the phone to see if my car could be taken there immediately, to the woman who helped me with a car rental, to Lester who made it possible to pick my car up even though the service department is closed on Sunday, everyone was helpful and friendly.

We had not planned to buy a car yesterday... just look.1st> they had a model we were looking for and with talking with V we realized that these are few and far between and after looking realized the inventory was very low for this model.V was very knowledgeable as well as polite, not pushy at all.He answered all are concerns. He asked us questions about our needs, travel plans etc. and then addressed our needs in those areas.He helped us fill in all the paper work etc. Then when all the financialwork was done he helped us put the paper plates on on the car and again go over many of the lights and gadgets etcHe gets an A+ with us
Hi praise for Robert, Kaleb, their diesel technician(s) and shuttle driver. Our Ram diesel threw a 5 mph max in 150 miles code while enroute from LSO to FLG with our 5th wheel. While heading from Las Vegas to San Francisco I got stuck in Barstow and decided to stop here to get a rental car. Barbara has one of the nicest souls I have ever come across. She was so helpful. Her customer service is out of this world and I’ll never forget her generosity. More people need to be like Barbara.
Paid for tire rotation and they did not rotate them. I marked my tires, left front with blue chalk and right rear with red. When they brought the car up those marks were still in the same locations. Called them on it. I have a card for a free tire rotation. First time they have screwed me like that. All work has been done there and I have been pleased. I will have to keep a better eyeball on them now.
These guys are heros!!! Driving from Las Vegas my biggest fears happened....My Caddilac blew a coolant hose and starts overheating in the middle of the desert. Let me mention that we have 3 poodles in the back in full show coat. We managed to get water in the car and limped it to Barstow where we came across a toyota dealership. These guys took us and the poodles In with open arms. Set us up with a rental, then told us it was a quick easy fix. Got us back on the road to finish out adventure. Huge THANK YOU to Robert our service, Barbara and the mechanics. These guys are great and would give more then 5 starts if I could. I know its not much but enjoy your lunch today! If I could give this place 10 stars I would, they worked with my credit and all really made it happen for me, everywhere else I went I got denied but they sat there for 9 hours straight with me and got me approved, sales agent Mark was super helpful as well as the manager I’m in shock still that they made it happen I’m so happy, thanks to them. The service writer was very kind and helpfull my appointment was on time with no hassels. The only thing i didnt understand was they didnt rotate the tires they did put air in them most service appoints i have had done before on previous sutos they did a 5 count service plus rotate the wheels
I was travelling from Saint George, Utah. The check engine light came on when I got to the rest stop between Las Vegas and Barstow. Upon reaching Barstow, I took my Camry to Mojave Toyota and explained I was on my way to Laguna Hills to care for my father who was very, very ill and it was essential I get there right away because my motherwas in the hospital after a fall that fracturedher knee. They took great care of me and got me on the road as soon as possible. I cannot say enough good things about their customer service!
A year ago I was visiting Barstow and took in my 2015 Dodge journey In for some power steering problems. After What I thought was a rough start Was really an intense and complete assurance that my vehicle would get me back to Arizona safely. Although the repair cost me over $2000 it It was complete and top quality work. They change my high power pressure hoses, my pulley, my belt, my power steering pump oil change and cabin filter And denson they even fix my front bumper which was almost Falling off. When I pick the car of I drove 479 miles to Arizona The car ran amazing. I was very satisfied with the professionalism and dedication to my vehicle.Once again I am here in Barstow and my alternator just went out Coincidentally is also on my way out back to Arizona so I took the car in to the dealer this afternoon. The service department was very welcoming and immediately check out my vehicle. Did a great job contacting my service agreement providers And helping me Help me get back on the road with only a $100 deductible. I am extremely comfortable that the techs Work on my car because they do a point to point inspection and even major and check for recalls which my car Need a new converter I didnt know there was a recall for and save me a ton of money in repair cost. The work Is top quality and the staff is knowledgeable an friendly. I definitely plan on Bringing my car back to this dealership I honestly would not recommend any other way the The work is great the staff does their best to give you a fair price very thorough and the point to point inspection and checking for recall things is much appreciated. This is my 2nd time working with Sam she is so cool! very smart And communicates well with the technicians Over all as a team the Mojave auto group truly offers top quality customer service and satisfaction
I went in this morning for an oil change and was quickly greeted by a service rep. I didn’t make an appointment but the service rep squeezed me into an available window and my car was in and out. The cherry on top was the well needed wash and wipe down. Thanks team! I am happy to know there’s a service department that is willing to look into things and get the job done. I’ll be back.
The purchase of my car went well... however after refinancing I am told there is only 1 person in financing to handle my refund of GAP insurance, which the dealership is responsible for. I have called and left messages for the one guy and here a month later on this time sensitive issue I have still no response and keep getting the run around about how nobody knows when he will be there as he does not have a set schedule...??? Funny when companies are quick to take your money... but drag their feet giving back what is owed....

The overall purchase experience was great, however, it has now been 1 month since we purchased our new vehicle and our trade-in still has not been paid off causing it to hit our credit. The dealership confirmed it was their fault yet we never received a call updating us on the issue. Extremely dissatisfied with how this is being handled. As excited as we were to keep our business local, we would never purchase from them again. Come on Mojave.... GET IT TOGETHER!
My visit was a result of an AC issue.Michelle took care of me and got the vehicle into the system for diagnosis and repair.She provided me updates throughout the prosess. I was provided a ride to my home pending its repair and was returned after the car was ready. Great customer service, fair cost, and the service personnel did a professional job. On top of all, the car had been washed. Great folks. When I require services or repairs for my toyotas, they go only to Mojave auto group.Robert t.
As we got off on a rocky start, Mr. John Rice salvaged and exceeded the perception of customer service. Technical Services were outstanding throughout my challenging electrical issues. The service manager (John Rice) was simply outstanding with excellent communication and continued follow up with information on a regular basis. Mr. Rice even willinglingly interfaced with Chrysler to help us through this process. Anyone can be a technician by being trained...but ahhh...customer service is an art...and I am not the easiest of clients where as I have certain levels of expectations (old school)...and Mr. Rice met and exceeded my expectations, and took everything to heart to help refocus his team and teach them the value of customer service. Mr. Rice demonstrated himself is an effective and strongly positive leader. I was not only pleased, but impressed. I personally would not hesitate to bring my RAM 3500 /Cummins Diesel back to Mojave Toyota to take care of my vehicles. I send a sincere thank you and extremely high degree of appreciation to the team of Mojave Toyata group in Barstow, California.
The service writer must be new because she was not very knowledgeable, but she did try to help. I took my vehicle in for two warranty repairs. They called to notify me the repairs were completed. When I got there to pick it up neither repair was done even though I was told the repairs were made. The service writer said she would check into what could be done and call me the next day. I never received a call.
I took my truck in after an engine swap to have the computer serviced. I payed $130.00 to have the work done. I returned to pick up my vehicle and the girl told me they were not able to clear the check engine light. She stated that the mechanic was able to update some things but could not tell me what exactly they had done. Supposedly he was locked out of his computer and had left for the night. I did not receive any explanation or work order to show what had or had not been done. I left there with my truck in the same condition as it was in when I went in. I am NOT AT ALL SATISFIED! Feeling like I got screwed our of my money and all they did was wash my truck for $130.00 (very poor job for the price). I am going to have to take my truck out of town (unregistered) 45 miles to a dealer with a mechanic that knows what he is doing.
Theres nothing more frustrating than being far away from home, and breaking down in the desert on the way to a very important event. However, Mojave Toyota took care of the problem, got us on our way quickly, and treated us more fair than I could have ever expected. If I lived closer, they would definitely be the dealer I would go to on a regular basis. Thank you so much Mojave Toyota CDJR of Barstow!!!

Nothing but the best professionalism, kindness and can-do attitude from the sales team at this location. I had chosen to go to this Mojave location from my home in Menifee because I had previously been made aware of nothing but the best personal reviews from friends and media. I was looking to upgrade my current 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 to a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit 4x4. I wanted the Summit to my exact wants/needs (exterior/interior/engine/special packages). Finding the exact vehicle that I wanted without having to order a vehicle would pose quite the challenge for the dealership, but they miraculously found the one and only specified vehicle in Northern California. As a result, I purchased the newly upgraded vehicle and I am totally excited and 110% pleased with the perseverance of the sales team and the ever so friendly atmosphere of every staff member, from Top-to Bottom! You definitely will not be disappointed when you check out this Mojave Toyota CDJR of Barstow location.
I had a great experience and the service was fast and reasonable priced. I initially had thought I needed an oil change as I had seversl previous oil change at a different Toyota and they had put a sticker to have the oil changed at a specific mileage however it turned out it was not due an oil change yet but did need to have the tires rotated. The previous Toyota dealership in Ridgecrest always wanted to have the car the entire day to change the oil. Would add higher costs and sometimes forget to do things such as a smog test which was the primary reason for the appointment. The Barstow Toyota Service will only need an hour to do the oil change, and will also wash the car when serviced. Also customer service was very good..

I was traveling and had DEF code warning then the dreaded vehicle will shut down in 150 miles. I found dealership in Barstow and showed up at service counter at 5:30. I was pulling my 40 ft fifth wheel at the time. Service adviser Sam tried to help finding us a place to park nearby. Sam then advised tone at the gate at 7:30 the next morning. I showed up and was met by Robert who advised they would fit me in sometime during the day. I was given a shuttle ride back to my RV. At noon Robert called and told me my truck was done and that the shuttle was on its way to pick me up. I received the most friendly and professional service from this dealership. Very thankful to have broken down near them.
Everyone at Mojave Auto was very helpful. Starting with Juliana giving me info on their stock in Barstow and her internet partner Kristie took me out to test drive the car. Then Charlie was able to help finish the deal as I showed up unexpectedly the next day. He showed me how everything worked before I drove off. Kenn the finance guy was quite funny! “Boots” the only way I know her name had some answers to my questions too! I think even one of the owners took my new Highlander to fill it up with gas! Christine was a huge help and deciding which vehicle I was to purchase. She’s very professional and knowledgeable, has a really good sense of humor, and works well with disabled people like me. The only negative thing I have to say is that the building is not up to code for the disabled people.The Nissan rogue is a wonderful car! My brakes went out on my Prius while driving through the mountains on our vacation in California. We stopped in Barstow, CA and I called the Toyota dealer, Mojave Auto Group on Friday morning. I explained our situation to Robert Hartland, the service advisor. Even though they were extremely busy Robert said he couldn’t leave us stranded. We brought the car in that morning and Robert arranged for a shuttle to get us back to our hotel. He had the car repaired by the afternoon and we were on our way back to Michigan that day. We can’t thank Robert enough for his kindness and going out of his way to help us. We purchased our 2014 Toyota Highlander here, its a great car no issues at all. Great people very helpful ever the toilet paper in the bathroom is soft lol, Mitchell in maintenance is super helpful and very honest does everything she can to get you in and out, all the workers in the garage are very strait forward and helpful. A very disappointing experience with the dodge dealership in Barstow California. Mr. George was a friendly man but disappointing. I turn in my vehicle for a recall and Mr. George call me and said if I can leave my vehicle with them for 4 to 5 days and they will repair the recall. I informed Mr. George its was okay. After almost three weeks later (3 weeks later) and calling the dodge people to find out what is the current situation of my vehicle, Mr. George start avoiding me and making excuses that my vehicle will be ready soon, and all the parts are in. Remember now its been almost three week and they finally call me on the 12 February 2016 to come and picked up my vehicle. When I drove my vehicle back to my home it was still making crackling noise on my drive shaft so I call up the dodge service and they told me that they only replaced the recall nothing else. And if I want my vehicle repair I would have to bring it back 13 February 2016 or the 15 February 2016 to get it checked. The dodge dealership did not even have any decency to check my vehicle of the crackling noise on the drive shaft and give me an estimation of how much it would cost for them to replaced my u-joints since they had my vehicle in their lot for almost three weeks. I went to the dodge service desk on the 10 February 2016 and spoke to a Latino Gentleman and he call Mr. George at home to find out what is the current situation with my truck. Mr. George informed the gentleman that all parts arrived but other things came up and that is the reason why my recall part was not repair. Im glad that I did not received an estimation from the dodge dealership service department. It took them almost three weeks to replaced one recall bearing on my vehicle. I will not go back to this place for anything. For any recall in the future I would go to Victorville for service. As a Barstow resident its very disappointing, you would think the service would be better. Thank you for replacing my recall part hopefully it would be the last with the dodge dealership in Barstow. I hope that no one would have to wait long for a recall repairmen like I did. Also I hope this would not happen to anyone else. Thank you
I bought a new car from Mojave Toyota after seeing it listed on Autotrader and did the whole process over the phone. They sent me photos and answered all my questions over the phone with no hassle. Julie, the internet sales manager, was great. No pressure, fair price, and pleasant experience. The lifetime powertrain warrantee is a great bonus. Julie delivered my new car all the way to Long Beach and the paperwork was easy. She was patient and the car arrived in great shape. Happy with my new ride!

Toni- Went in for a regular maintenance on my vehicle and when I got there my tire light came on , when they inspected my vehicle their was a nail in the tire. Michelle in service department not sure of her last name but she went above and beyond to make sure the correct tire was ordered and she helped me with a car rental to ensure my safety ! She was spectacular !!!! 5 stars !!!!!! I would recommend them to all my friends !!!!!
Great service in buying a Dodge Ram from this dealership. My saleswoman, Juliana, was one of the best to work with always presenting a smile as well as a great deal resulting in a quick sale. If you go to Mojave Auto Group, Juliana is your salesperson! Finance Manager was also great, and the vehicle service department fulfilled their promise to modify my vehicle!
My wife took our 2018 Highlander into the service department yesterday because the tire light came on. She advised them we had the Toyota Care Service package. The service person advised her the gas station has air and it would be cheaper. She said the tires have nitrogen in them not air, and the reply was we do not have nitrogen. It is amazing to me you would sell vehicles you can not service, or is the issue lazy uniformed employees. 3 months ago when we were looking to buy the Highlander we went to Mojave Auto . We told the salesman what we were looking for and he replied, let me show you what I can get you into and showed me a Corolla.Though a Corolla is a great car( we own one) I gave him back his card and left. I felt I was profiled by the salesman. 4 hours later we left Valley High Toyota with our new Highlander. It is horrible that Barstow residents have to take there money out of town to purchase cars because we all lose when that happens. I will never return to, or refer anyone to them.
Had an appt. Door indicated open was intermittent. Left car at dealer. Was called back 2 hrs later no problem found. Mechanic drove vehicle around could not get it to fail. Thats all they did ancharged me $130.00. Just to drive my car around. The next day same problem. Took car back on Monday because of the weekend. Service manager did not understand why I was charged just for driving my car. No attempt was made to check the door or the sensors. Manager assured me it would be fixed. The door was a little loose. Door secured. Problem fixed. I usually take my car to Valley Hi but figured Ill try Mojove. Ill continue to use Valley Hi inVictorville for my auto service.
I bought my 2015 Jeep Cherokee there and I always take it there for service. I am treated very well and I have no complaints about the service done to my vehicle. My only complaint is that the wait time can be a little long, but if I wanted quick and dirty I could always go someplace else and take my chances of it being done wrong. Thanks for taking such good care of my baby...lol!
If I could give 0 stars I would. Bought a replacement key and FOB on the 31st of July. Supposed to be cut and ready for programming by today (7th of August). Show up for my appointment time at 09. Key isnt cut, takes about an hour before they can get the code to cut the key. Around 1230 I was informed someone forgot to complete it and was going to lunch. Finally finished at 2pm. Then come to find out they reset my tire pressures without even asking and I only found out because it was on the receipt. GREAT JOB!!! LIKELYHOOD OF REFERRING TO A FRIEND OR ANYONE= EXACTLY 0%. THANK YOU FOR WASTING MY DAY.
We were on our way to Laughlin and our car SUV caught fire and burned to the ground. The tow company drop us off in Barstow. We walked over 3 miles to get to hertz car rental which we found out was no longer in the dealership. The amazing and super friendly staff brought us out waters and even had there shuttle drive us to the rental company. I wasnt even a customer and they still looked out for me!!THE MOST AMAZING STAFF! I dont remember the sales womens name but she was amazingThank You!!!
I took my car in for a diagnostic and cleaning. They said nothing was wrong with it. I took it to Meineke in San Bernardino and it cost $1,875 to fix everything wrong with it. My brakes were so bad I had to replace the rotors. If I needed to slam my brakes at any time between Barstow and there my brakes could have failed. Ive taken the car there twice and asked them to check my brakes. I wont be taking my cars there again.
If zero stars was an option I would give them that. I have taken my jeep grand cherokee to this service department three times, and each time I gave up took it home and fixed it myself. Dont go to Barstow if you want anything fixed.I just saw your reply to my review, if your service writer would not have given me a B/S answer to my questions, I possibly would have let the dealership do some repairs, I removed the factory installed alarm, but not because it killed the battery like the dealership told me, but because it was shutting off power to the fuel pump, again if I was told believable answers to the problems, I would allow work to be done, dont just try and sell parts, actually do some real diagnostics!!! Plus the other small repairs that I asked to be done were not handled, I will go ahead and fix those myself too. Also If you decide to call me again, please have it be someone with actual knowledge of automotive repair, and not a P/R person, I have been a technician for 20 years, the only reason I brought my jeep to Barstow was because it had an extended warranty that has turned out to be worthless, Have a nice day
I just wanted to give a shout out to Jo Jo in the Toyota Parts department. I rolled into Barstow needing to replace some latches on my tailgate ASAP, and when the part was not in stock, Jo Jo went out of her way to get me all the information I needed to make the order/repair down the road. Really excellent customer service, thank you for the help and making a travelers journey all that much easier!
The lifetime warranty offered here is a joke. i have a 2015 Dodge Journey and the transmission went out at 102000 miles. I took it in and they said the warrant is voided due to not having the air filter and oil service by the dealership. The transmission was serviced my mohave on time everytime but since everything was not done there it ground for them to not cover anything under there lifetime powertrain warranty. I told the guy what does the air filter have to do with the transmission and he said not having proof that it was change stand ground to terminate the contract. Having receipts for purchasing the products are not good enough. You have to have electronically created receipts that has VIN number and date it was installed. The only reason i change the oil is because I use Mobile 1 and wix air filters which are way better products then what they are using
Always had an issue with their service department. They always say to make an appointment for service but it takes just as long as if I had just walked in!I went in a few days ago and spoke with a gentleman there about making an appointment for my highlander. He told me to bring it in when I got off work and hell get me in. I get there today at 1pm and he tells me they wont even start working on it until 3!!! What is the point of making an appointment?????? I called to speak with the service manager but got a voicemail. That is the last straw with this place! Ive bought 3 cars from here but now I will never give them my business again.
AVOID - WORST DEALERSHIP I HAVE BEEN TO- Save yourself time and drive outside the ghetto wastes of Barstow. This dealerships follows the overall mood and attributes of the local area: it is a deserted, understaffed wasteland. The people who work here are lazy, have no sense of urgency, take 4 hour lunches, are impossible to get a hold of and are also incompetent whether taking 1 hour to provide a rental car, or a month ro get a part. Expect to wait an eternity while they figure out what a warranty is...how to use a computer or to find the only employee that knows anything about your vehicles repairs (she is of course at lunch).
My 2006 Dodge Durango came standard with a back lift gate that would open when I pushed a button on the key. It also would beep when locked. My key broke and I went to Mojave Dodge to get a new one. I would think for $302.00, they could get it right. Cut a key, then program it. I asked if they needed the old key. Nope, they were going to hook it up to a computer I was told. I had the key fob/insides of the old key, with me. 2 hours later, I got the new key, nothing beeped or honked, and the back door will not open.. Maybe I will take it to Ford to see if they can do it right...
Called about a car I had seen online and they said I could do an application over the phone. So I was transfered to that department..and then put on hold and transfered again. So After being transfered and placed on hold I hung up. I live in apple valley so I did my application online so I can save the drive. and they never called ..so I called them to make sure they got it and to show I was a serious buyer and they said okay we got it .so then some lady called and asked a few questions and told me she was off the following next two days and that she would get back to me when she got back. Almost 2 weeks later not one phone call. I guess they do not want my business. My husband and I will have to go somewhere else where they take their buyers serious!
Horrible customer service. Went in due to them saying they will match prices and was told no one would sell a Ram Bighorn for that price without something being wrong so they would not would not even attempt to match what EVERYONE down the hill was asking of 26000. Went to Victorville motors and got one with more options and a Crewcab, which has a bigger backseat, instead of the Quad cab Mohave and everyone else was selling for 26800 out the door. Save your time and money and go anywhere else. Way over priced and not willing to budge to comparable prices.
Dont go here unless you have too. Mojave Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM & Toyota of BarstowThis place is the worst. Go To Victorville if you can. Made an appointment for 9:30 AM to fix a recall. Told me one hour and thirty minutes for the repairs. So here I sit without my vehicle a 3:30 PM. Im a 30 year Combat Veteran and it is Veterans Day. No golf no BBQ no nothing because of this dealership and maintenance BULL CRAP.

2022-07-05I know Im very late with this review, but better late than never. My partner and I came to this location after much discussion with Mark over the phone, and were blown away at how fast and efficient everyone there was. Generally were at a dealership from morning till night whenever it comes to purchasing a new vehicle. We left in two hours. Mark was phenomenal in getting us in and out, and our Finance Manager Kenn kept us in high spirits the entire time. Thank you both for such wonderful service. We love our new Toyota Camry.

2022-06-17Outstanding experience purchasing my new car. Started browsing their website around 9am and my new car was delivered to my home at 6pm that same evening. I never had to leave my house! V is the associate who helped me and his customer service skills were on point. Besides getting great service they gave me a LIFETIME power train warranty at no extra cost. I have never seen a dealership offer a warranty like that. Will be keeping this car for life!

2022-03-23Caleb was awesome! My car’s AC hadn’t been working for sometime and I live 30 min away so it was a bit difficult to know what day I can make it there. Monday morning I walked in and dropped off my car thinking it’ll be a couple days before the tech sees it. By 12pm I got a call from Caleb letting me know the tech saw it and they could start working on it and get it fixed. Fast forward to 3pm they called me again that the car was ready. AC works great! They’re super reliable and really kind people.

2022-03-12I would like to thank Caleb in experiencing good quality customer care at the Barstow Mojave dealership. This service representative went out his way and picked me up at my work bus stop because my car was being worked on and it was ready for pick up. I was able to receive updates on the status of completion and requested to see the part that was being installed and to test drive after the mechanic repaired the car. He stayed later then his planned time of leaving his job for that day and we test drove my vehicle. We didnt hear the sound and it appears to have been fixed. Bottom line up front, it is very rare to get that type of service and that level of professional care.

2022-05-18My experience with Mojave Toyota CDJR of Barstow was for an unexpected mechanical repair to my Jeep Cherokee. Being broken down in Barstow was unfortunate but convenient.Convenient because the folks at Mojave Toyota were the right folks to get us back on the road as soon as possible. Everyone we met was welcoming and friendly.Finding nice and helpful people was exactly what we needed - the repair was well done and fairly priced. Thank you.

The staff and service were excellent i was provided a ride home via courtesy shuttle and was called when service was completed.Upon my return to pick my jeep up it was out front courtesy washed and ready to go. A quick trip inside to sign paperwork and i was on my way. Excellent service and experience 👏
