I’ve loved everything I’ve eaten here. I come often for pastries and this has also been my go-to place for ordering cakes.
Such a cute Cafe that has some seasonal cakes right now get a chocolate mole cake before June! I personally LOVED the Bearclaw and my partner loved the fruity pebbles cookie!
Bought a slice of oreo cake and hubby bought the mole chocolate cake, both are so moist and delicious. I wish I bought two slices of each. I will definitely recommend Mmm Cakes to family and friends.
Excellent and friendly service. The kahlua Tiramisu cake was bomb! The coffee was really good too. Can’t wait to return and try their other menu items!
This bakery is a gem!Starting with the friendly staff... always greeting you with a smile. Absolutely delicious cakes and pastries, my personal favorites are the hummingbird cake and strawberry roll (its exactly like a cinnamon roll but 🍓 flavored 🤤) The beautiful decor, a la tropical/golden girls!!!....The absolute perfect spot to meet a friend, or some me time while getting some dope pics!
This is a fantastic place. All of their pastries are delectable; after we tried a couple, we ended trying almost all of their inventory. The barista is amazing and always has excellent recommendations for coffee drinks. The esthetics is grand and fun. I stopped here with all of my three children after trying to walk around in search of a nice cafe and we came across this cute coffee shop, as an interior design I was moved by the interior of this place, it is so beautiful well put. The lady (sorry I forgot her name) that owns the place is super nice also! Great customer service, drinks and desserts are delicious. A must stop in Chula Vista.
Great Atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious treats of varying tastes. Overall the desserts were amazing, tastes were to my liking. Definitely will be back again and look forward to it being a mainstay on 3rd Ave.
Loved. I tried the Carrot cake and hands down THE best carrot cake Ive ever tasted. I love that they have so many pastries options to choose from and the decoration inside the bakery is so chic. Very Instagramable 📸
Amazing fresh made bakery that had some hearty Danishes that were out of this world. The ham egg and cheese with hollandaise sauce 😋 and the potatoes and bacon and egg with gravy 😋 oh yeah!! And after uhh the Nutella roll and creme Brule Danish were the perfect sweet finish 👌 and with an excellent iced mocha and strawberry lemonade to go with a walnut chocolate chip cookie for later. Mmm... will keep us satisfied all day.

Fabulous bakery with great people, a friendly atmosphere and the pastries are a work of art! Had the chocolate chocolate ganache cake (incredibly moist with a rich chocolate flavor) and the lemon poppyseed muffin that had a wonderfully tart lemon glaze. We will definitely be back!

One of the best dirty lavender chai’s in town. Delicious baked goods, try the pumpkin scone and cheese danish. Divine! Hummingbird cake is another must try. Mmm…cakes a new gem on 3rd Ave and bougie too!
Well trained staff they gave me replacement cake and latte with telling me their out of stock and refund my order I got new cake and latte and I’m happy with the service I’m a happy customer

2021-11-15I had heard about this bakery for the last couple of months. It did not disappoint. I was lucky enough to stop with my friend just before closing and bought the last 2 cinnamon rolls. They were awesome! Its what a cinnamon roll should taste like, especially the warm center. The inside is chic and clean. It is a welcoming bakery. Not pictured were the chocolate chip walnut cookies I bought as well. So good as well! Whats most important was the service that was provided for us. The lady and gentleman that helped us out were friendly and helpful. I cant wait to go back. Eat up!!

2022-07-09From The OC here. Stopped by for danish and coffee. Found a gem here! Great customer service, amazing pastry selection (they also have cookies, brownies and cakes). Did I mention the cozy seating booth?Had a cheese danish, wife had Apple danish: flaky, fresh and yum!Aliso bought a slice of their hummingbird cake you gotta try it!Thanks for the everything especially holding my slice of cake til later in the day! Will stop there often when in the area!

2022-03-17Been here 4 times now and each time Im impressed. I love ordering the delicious pastries or cakes by the slice, but I really like surprising loved ones with a beautiful creation just for them. All the cake flavors are delicious as well as the frosting and I really dont like frosting. Coffee is excellent as well.

2022-06-07Stopped in real quick to get a few pastries and an iced Americano. The coffee was one of the best Ive ever had. The pecan cinnamon roll was soft and had the right amount of gooiness on top. That had some other cakes on display that looked amazing. Great friendly service as well. Will have to stop on again when Im in the area.

2022-03-25If you love lucky charms, the lucky charms cheesecake is a MUST. It’s so heavenly! Some of the pastries were a hit or miss. I loved the cheese Danish and the savory Danish I tried. Over all a really great establishment!
