Recently purchased three fruit trees, Lime, Nectarine and Apricot. My landscaper recommended Mimosa and the service was better than expected and the total price was acceptable. Sadly, I don’t expect the lime or the nectarine to survive the year. Systemic infections seem to be the problem. All three trees were professionally planted and irrigated. I probably won’t be going back to Mimosa Nursery.
Their plants and Rose’s quality are very very terrible! plus the employees’s attitude is just bad! and rude! don’t go to the place, there are plenty of great nurseries much better than them so don’t west your time! and they don’t accept return so be careful for what you buy if you really go there.
This place is great for Asian and Mediterranean fruit trees, I bought from them a couple of mulberry trees, big size and cheap price. They also carry figs, pomegranate, loquat, and they deliver and plant trees for an additional fee. Most prices are set, so no room for negotiation. The owner seems very honest and would not sell you anything he is not sure about. I tried to buy a tree, he thinks will die right now if dug out, he he refused to sell it, will buy it from them when the tree is dormant. They also have palm trees. Some of their Asian fruit trees seem overpriced (700-900) this seems a bit expensive to me. But overall a very good nursery.
Great selection, exorbitant prices25 gal Sweetheart lychee/ $195025 gal Silas Wood sapodilla/ $6957 gal Keitt mango/ $19515 gal black sapote/ $395etc.Mimosa Nurseries (East LA, Anaheim & the long closed Riverside) used to be run by a Vietnamese couple. After divorce, Mimosa LA went to the husband & Anaheim to the wife.As previously mentioned, Mimosa has an abundant selection of flowers, landscaping plants & fruit trees. Fruit trees are what Im interested in, especially the exotic type. Being closer than the LA location, I stopped by one day to check out their stock.Sticker shock! While Mimosa may have competitive prices for the more standard garden options, when it comes to exotic fruit trees - Ouch! Ordering trees online may be a cheaper option, and Im factoring in shipping! A person can go broke fast while shopping here.On the bright side, Mimosas selection is diverse, and I have the opportunity to see fruits in person to see if theyre something I want to possibly own. Think of it as window shopping. I make up my mind as to what I want and I buy the tree for a better price somewhere else thats a little farther.Parking is via a private lot.Mimosa Anaheim is a great place to check out subtropical/tropical fruit trees, but I dont recommend actually making purchases here, as the prices are quite high. Laguna Hills Nursery in nearby Santa Ana may be a preferable alternative, if you cant make it to Mimosa LA or Champa Nursery in LA County.
Too bad, trusting the woman who sells in the garden, recommending the kind of tree I want to buy. I paid $ 400 for them before I saw the tree and didnt agree with the tree they chose and asked me to exchange another tree for the same price but they didnt agree and No refunds, though this tree is still in their garden
Purchased a Quince Tree that I Could not find Anywhere. The Helpers Negotiated One Price For Me. The Owner Another ( Higher Price )The Owner / Manager Will Not Deal. (Hes Firm on his Prices) Oh Well. They Have Rare Trees. so You Pay For The Services. I Would Trade with them again.
This place is just terrible! There is nothing appealing about it and looks abandoned. I came here to conduct an interview for a college paper so when I approached what appeared to be the only person there I politely asked him if I could ask someone a few questions about lychees. He then told me no, we have no time. The guy was on his freaking cell phone, and doing nothing else! All I had was three easy questions to answer. Do yourselves all a favor and DO NOT go to this establishment. Youll be wasting your time and money.

2022-06-25It was very well maintained lots of plants to choose from. They have a special Greenhouse for citrus plants, the public cannot go inside the greenhouse but upon request the workers are very helpful and will bring the plants out for one to see and purchase. Great assortment of mature trees and large plants. Prices are fair and clearly marked unlike other nurseries. As mentioned before the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about their products.

2022-06-14First time coming to Mimosa Nursing with my mother in law and the experience was amazing. Both individuals who work there were both amazing, provided excellent customer service to us, had extensive knowledge of their plants, regulations and protocol with their plants. They are certified to sell citrus trees and other items in case anyone needs citrus trees or flowers, and are checked on from the state. I will be coming back in case I need other trees or fruits/veggies in the future.

2019-07-22Mimosa nursery is the place to go for all your fruit trees. They have a lot of tropical fruit trees that you couldnt find elsewhere.Their prices are good, especially when they have sales. They have so many roses too. Loved their King palms. You have to check this nursery out of you love to plant trees. Oh they have non fruit trees as well. As long as you have a CUV or an SUV, they will package the trees securely so that you can transport them home.

2022-04-07This is a great Nursery, they have a great collection of Asian (Atemoya, cherimoya, soursop, mangoes, jujubes, avocados, and all kinds of exotic trees like white and black sapotes, jack fruit, guavas, sapodilla, miracle berry, wax apple, jaboticaba, grumichama) and Mediterranean trees (mulberry, fig, olive, grapes, persimmon, stone fruit, loquat, quince, nut fruits) and roses, wisteria, and many many others. Prices are moderate, not cheap, but you really get what you pay. prices are not negotiable, but I guess this makes it more straight forward

2022-07-19This nursery have good variety of tropical plants, but have the worst of the worst service you can ever get from a nursery, both owners I believe are related ,as both of them have identical personality very very very rude people

2022-04-27The worst and most rude owner you can find ever. She is a cheat and will want cash. Plus she will not help you in any way nor will allow her workers to help you. If they try to help load the plants you bought from her store she will stop them.

2020-06-24It’s my first time to buy plant. So I went to Mimosa in Anaheim . I was ready to pay for Avocado tree . I was asking the lady what to do when I take it home. Suddenly the man came and told me rudely that. He prefers people do not buy his products rather than complaining. He said he is doing business for 40 yearsMy recommendation to try somewhere else that want the business and want to educate customers about how to care of products
