I had never been to Mimos Jewelry and Watches before, but went by there to have a ring re-sized (enlarged) after looking at online reviews of that business. Mimo seems to be a nice guy and is obviously very knowledgable. He did an excellent job on the ring and it was ready in only a few days. I had taken the ring to another shop initially, and Mimos price was significantly less. Nothing but praise for Mimo!

Great customer service from Mimo and his wife Brenda from the moment I entered the store up to when I picked up my items. I had my fiancé’s Tissot watch battery replaced and my gold earrings repaired (he re-soldered the earring to the earring post as it had become loose). He did excellent work and his prices are very reasonable. Such a great place and will continue to come back here for all my jewelry repair needs, and hopefully also have him design jewelry for me in the future. Thank you!
It is rare nowadays to receive exemplary customer service but that is exactly what Mimos provided. Not only did he have great communication and a deal I couldnt find anywhere else but the watch was shipped hours after it was ordered to accommodate my special request (me going out of town). I would recommend this vendor to anyone and I wont hesitate to visit this shop again in the future. Thank you very much...keep up the fantastic work!

Recently, I bought two watches from Mimo’s Jewelry and Watches on-line. The first watch was a Seiko Turtle ‘Save the Ocean,’ and the second one was a Seiko Samurai ‘Save the Ocean.’ Since Mimo is an authorized Seiko dealer, I got all the proper paperwork for both watches. Furthermore, the instruction booklets were included in the packages, and both boxes were shipped on time without any delivery problems. Some Seiko dealers have a problem with chapter-ring alignment on dive watches as well as crown balance. Neither one of the watches I bought from Mimo had these mistakes. I could not be happier with my purchases from Mimo. I am sure I will be buying other Seiko watches from this seller in the future.

I took a watch I was selling on Ebay here because the movement on the chronograph was off from the last shop that changed the battery. Mimos fixed it up right and put a battery in it...FREE despite my insistence that I pay. Great customer service, good selection, and knowledgeable staff. Ill buy my next watch from Mimos!
Great guy, great service!I went in to get a new necklace adjusted. Not only did he help me properly adjust it to a suitable size, but he nicely gave me various options on how to get it done and he gave me great info about some other products he could help me out with for affordable rates. And, on top of that, he adjusted my necklace for me for free!!!Ill certainly be back to Mimo for any watch or jewelry stuff I need in the future.

2021-06-09I came across Mimos through a Youtube watch review, and subsequently I have purchased two watches through him, neither of which he personally carried. He did the legwork of procuring both watches (one of which is a high demand, fairly high end piece) and passed each on to me for a great price. All along he has provided fantastic customer service, personally and promptly answering emails, phone calls, texts. So, Mimo, hats off to you and your fantastic little operation. Though I live in Seattle, I consider you my go-to local watch guy, and you can be sure of my future business and recommendations. A true jewel! (yuk, yuk)

2020-07-16My first purchased was a Seiko Orange Samurai SRPC07 via internet, Watch was mailed in a timely manner. Watch was as described. Customer service was very excellent that I purchase two more watches, SRPC93 & SRPB51. Both watches arrived in a timely manner and were packaged with extra care to insure that the watches would not get damaged during the shipping process. As a purchase from their website, I highly recommend them and I would definitely buy from again!

2021-11-16I found this Jewelry shop through a Google search. I didnt know if a new store would be as inviting as the jewelry store my husband and I depended on in the Los Feliz. That store was down from Shylight Books and we have pleasant memories from our purchases and conversations with the owner. He and his wife made you feel like they cared for you as a person as well as their customer. It closed down.We are pleasantly surprised with Mimos. The owner was helpful and professional. I needed work on an item my mother left me just before she died. I felt comfortable leaving the item to be worked on and available for pickup the next day. In fact I was called to pick it up that night, but I was in for the evening. The next day I picked up the items as a lady was leaving the store. Her pleasant manner indicated she was pleased with Mimos too. I certainly will return to Mimos. It definitely is a Number One Store -- one of the best Jewelry stores in town.

2021-09-03I found Mimo’s Jewelry through Random Rob on YouTube. I decided to buy me watch from them to test the waters. I have bought 5 watches from them total and will buy more. The customer service is impeccable, the products are amazing, and the fact is that being an authorized dealer you get your full warranty as well. Add to that prices that rival anything you can find online and Mimo becomes your go to guy for iconic brands like Hamilton, Seiko, FC, GShock and Bulova as well as great user pieces. If you know me you know I am a picky consumer when it comes to my watches and Mimo has definitely shot to the top of my list of preferred sellers. I will be buying from him for many years to come.

He didnt have the model I was looking for on his website but after quick call I had it at my door the next week. Mimo provided great customer service throughout the entire process. Calls and emails were responded to extremely quickly. Ill definitely be returning for my next Seiko purchase.

2021-06-02Although this is a small mom & pop jewelry store in an historic section of Long Beach, they also have an internet business, which I used. I ordered a nice Swiss watch, and the price was extremely reasonable. It was shipped quickly with excellent communication along the way. The watch arrived early and is beautiful. Mimo even followed up by phone when I had a question about one of the features. You dont get that kind of customer service much anymore. Return customer for sure.

2021-05-13By far the most unprofessional watch dealer I encounter in my life. I emailed Mimo to ask whether I could get the Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic and Hamilton Khaki Field Titanium to try on with a free return label if I am keeping 1 out of the 2 watches. Mimo specifically replied telling me it was not a problem at all and he will include 1 return label just so I can try it out to pick 1 out of the 2 watches since I didn’t get the chance to try the watch through online purchase.After some inquiries to clear some confusions and after I have made the purchase, Mimo then abruptly broke his promise, he changes his terms, he won’t send me the return label and I’d have to pay for the return unless I pick the more expensive Khaki Titanium.Mimo’s term and promise changes the moment I made the purchase. Suddenly, return label is conditional only if I pick the more expensive Khaki Titanium.Obviously I confronted Mimo with the broken promise and his response was really rude, I mean really really rude. What’s more insulting is Mimo then made it clear he was not interested in doing business with me and I was asked to return my purchase, all of this just because I wanted to clarify some confusion and was asking for a return label he promised earlier.I was ready to take my business somewhere else, moments later Mimo then calls me, unprofessionally told me he will only send the return label strictly under the condition that I must keep 1 watch. Seriously folks, take your business somewhere else, this Mimo jeweler breaks promises literally few days later AFTER you make purchase from him. Very unprofessional, not recommended watch dealer.

2021-09-14I had recently been screwed over by a grey market watch company Creation Watches. Without getting into to much detail, as this review is about Mimo and his establishment, I needed someone/somewhere solid to supply my watch addiction.After being mentioned in some solid watch reviewers on YouTube, I made my next purchase from Mimo.I found my watch guy. Mimo has variety, watch availability, great pricing and most of all, he exceeds on customer response and service.Thanks Mimo for being great!PS, the Seiko Monster is fabulous, hasnt lost a second in a day everything lines up bang on.
