I love Miguels and eat there 2 times a week on average. I almost always eat the same thing #1 chicken tacos individually wrapped ( so they arent laying in the rice and beans) Today when I got home I had 2 tacos laying in the rice and beans all soggy with the rice and beans stuck to the tacos, melted cheese and wilted soggy lettuce and 1 was beef. Please do better.

I was around the area and visited this location, I usually visit the one in Fontana where all the time everything is great at this location we did not like the food or the service the girl that took my order was not friendly at all she seem to be bother and not wanting to be there, she did not make me feel welcomed, she had a long face and she never offered a smile. The food did not taste right it had no flavor.

Miguels is cool. Last few times I went, my Carne burrito ( the meat itself)had literally no flavor. None. But the beans and rice are so good that Ive been ordering bean rice and cheese burritos instead of burritos with meat. While I enjoy having the option, I feel like I shouldnt have to order meatless burritos just to get flavor

Very good Mexican food. Clean handling of ingredients and preparation. All employees woke up on the Right side of their beds this morning and every one since. Sometimes coupons are questioned and cross examined but they have never refused a discount. I havent had a chance to dine in but seems to me the place is geared towards a better place to eat. I would recommend anytime as long as the budget will permit.
On this day it wasnt as good as it has been. The taste was fine, but I got a tostada and there was hardly anything on it, but bean, barely any lettuce and the cheese was almost non-existent. There were plenty of tomatoes, which is my least favorite if the topping. This is why I gave it a 4 star.
Some days the food is good and sometimes not so great. Hit and miss.

I’ve been here plenty of times to say this is a good choice if your hungry. Much better than Del Taco and Taco Bell. It’s not spicy at all. Feel free to drench the burritos in their hot sauce. :) I usually get the wet burrito add potato’s. It’s pretty big l, it’s packed inside, not just tortilla. I highly suggest take a break from the soda and give their lemonade a try. It’s good. The price is about the same as anything else. They have really good taco salads and the chips are nice and salty. Squeeze some lime over them and it’s heavenly. It’s a nice environment inside too. Plenty of seating but not too large where it’s so noisy you can’t have a conversation. They have a soda fountain and a salsa bar. Maybe covid has changed that but they “had” one. If you read this entire review then you should give Miguel’s Jr and try it and leave your own review.
9:30 at night not busy but they burned the food. The quality has been horrible the last few months.

Foods ok, price is decent and service is quick. The service is only quick if you order ahead. I like to place my order on line and pick up. Pick up is pretty much easy, I typically get off the car and wait by the door. Someone will come out to you and bring your order. Or you can call and someone will come out to you. There is currently no dinning in.
Oh man their tacos and chix burritos are good! I also love their crushed ice machine and a cold Dr pepper. Fast and friendly...Ill be back!
Been Eating Miguels since HS..So I been coming here for the past 2 years on and off theyre service has declined in my opinion regardless if you go early or late theyre out of something thats on the menu or itll take forever for something to be remade because theyre out currently.. on top off that the last 4 times Ive came and spent 20-40$ for them to mess up on each order , under cook the meat, something missing ... Just about every comment under me is Negative!! Its Time To Do Something I get thousands of views on here Sorry wont cut it.....

A friend recommended Miguels Jr. a few years ago. I finally went and now Im kicking myself for not going sooner! I had the garbage burrito with shredded beef ... amazing! The beef was really tender and juicy and had a great flavor. Next time, I might leave the rice off, not because it wasnt good, Im just not a big fan. Besides, I need to make more room for their awesome beans.
Ill never get a tostada from anywhere else but Miguels Jr.They are simply loaded that I can almost not finish it but its so yummy I do finish it. And their prices are great

I like the Chile Verde burritos. And I ask for their containers of red sauce, I love the red sauce so much I can literally drink it, but I open up the burrito and pour it all over, its so good II usually buy one for my brother too, but he says theyre too small and doesnt get full so I order tacos too for him.The cashiers here are very friendlyWould come more often if burritos were larger.
I stopped in for lunch and decided to try 2 Burritos. I got the California Chile and Bean and Cheese. Both were made with really soft and fresh Tortillas. The California Chile has a Chile Relleno, beans and cheese inside and the Bean and Cheese is self explanatory. Both were hot, decent size and tasty ! Ill have to go back and try more things off the Menu. Ill be honest and say I was here once before and wasnt impressed with the Price/Size but today was much different.
Ate dinner here. It was so good! I absolutely loved it. I got the chicken enchiladas with rice and beans. Im going to go again before I head back home. Coming from an area of the country where all you have is Taco Bell, this place is on a whole different level. I love Miguel’s Jr. Good value, great taste. They make the BEST tacos. Today I just need a light lunch so it’s the side order of chicken taquitos with guac and melted cheese. The food was made to order and the flavors were amazing!
This is a great place for a casual lunch that isnt too pricey and is just the right portion. Fast friendly service! The dining area was all maintenence and cleaned. I enjoyed being there. I recommend if your in the area to not leave until you have given this a try!
I have been eating at Miguels Jr. for over 40 years and never before have I had the kinds of problems Ive had from this location. They regularly get orders wrong, have serious issues monitoring and fulfilling their GrubHub orders, and in fact have sent out food that has been sitting for nearly 2 hours... like that would be acceptable to anyone! I have called and spoken to a manager at this location on more than one occasion but clearly it makes no difference. This is the most mismanaged Miguels Jr. in existence. They have lost my business.

Sat in the long drive thru for 15mins for 2 carne Asada tacos and a drink. I was so hungry I immediately grabbed my taco once I pulled off and bit into it.. the taco was literally cold!! How can you have that long of a wait and be that busy but your food is not fresh or hot?! $12 for cold food.
If you havent had Miguels Jr. in Southern California youre missing out! Great burritos and other great food. They definitely need to expand.
Great place. Yes, its hard to believe, but my first time at a Miguels JR. Had the Garbage Burrito and a Chicken Street Taco. The burrito was very good! All the right flavors, especially with some of the sauce. The Chicken Street Taco was not what I expected though, but it wasnt bad. Also had the Coffee Horchata drink. It was Ok, not something Ill be dying to buy or drink again.
They need to do better. Sloppy presentation, mostly beans and rice, very little meat found in our burritos. Tables were dirty and several of the employees had nasty attitudes when asked to correct problems with our order.

Went in to try their Breakfast items, the food was wonderful, the location was clean as expected. Now Ive probably set my standards extremely high since I use to work here, but those are the standards they taught me.First ordering, the manager who took the order didnt looked pleased at all and gave a very bland welcoming greeting, as she took the order showed absolutely no enthusiasm, whatever I paid and had to stand there for a minute, while she fixed her drawer and money, to get my drink cup.Next getting my food, all I had was a chorizo breakfast burrito and a drink, I sat there for well over five minutes on one burrito, it wouldnt have annoyed me so much had the order following mine which had a bit more food on it hadnt been called out, then one of the other managers had to ask them for it.Ive loved Miguels since I was a kid and will continue visiting their other locations.
Honestly a great place to eat and awesome customers service. The manager Javier is a very friendly and active manager. As the restaurant picked up he made himself available to the clients and also walked around asking patrons how the meal was and what thoughts were. He made my visit there memorable and I will return as the entire team was top notch. Great job and excellent food. Garbage burrito for me and two taco combo for my wife all of it is delicious. The sauce was great and flavorful. Shredded beef is beyond perfect. Go figure!

This is my neices favorite burrito spot. Shes is an extely picker eater and loves the bean, rice, and cheese burrito from here. I usually get the taco salad and it is very good. They have a lot of good food options here. This is a great place to get some quick Mexican food. They have a drive through so that makes it even more convenient.
Service levels dropped significantly. My son likes to eat here. Whether we order online or at the drive thru, 99% of the time the order has been wrong.
Now Ive written a review on the Miguel in Grand Terrace because I really like Miguel jr. the only knock I would have to give this one here in Moreno Valley is that I feel that the burritos are a bit dry although the tacos are very good as well as the Taquitos and chips and guacamole. Overall I give Miguel Jr. 4 Stars cause aint nothing perfect.

This place is great. While I can’t say it is the best Mexican food in Riverside, I will say it’s very close. The menu is varied, your order served hot and timely. The service personnel are polite and friendly. The restaurant is very clean and while not fancy has a nice friendly feel. The condiments are fresh and plentiful, all the menu items I’ve had are delicious, and the low prices makes it even better. Good food great prices. Highly recommended.

I have been eating here since I was a little girl. Each and every time the food has always been wonderful. It is fairly close to authentic Mexican food. I always order the same thing every time I go. My sister and I always go to Miguels jr. to eat every time she comes out to visit. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. The food is super super good! ️ ☺️
Can you guys make your bean and cheese burritos like you use to. Now its a bean burrito with some cheese. It seems like ever since you guys expanded pretty much everywhere in the IE. You went corporate and probably weigh your ingredients now. If i want my burritos like they use to be, when you guys were on the corner by FOHI. I have to ask for extra cheese.

Not sure what the hype was, but not worth it. First and last time trying this restaurant. Maybe it was this location? Idk, but the food was bland. Its as if no thought was put into the making of it. Portion was okay as to why it has two stars, but would have truly done better at El Pollo Lock or Del Taco.
This place gets a 1 star, because of there outrageous prices. I ordered 4 carne asada tacos came to $15.48. I ended up leaving the drive through. The food is good, but not that good for the prices they charge. I will not be coming here again. Theres way better restaurants with great food & decent prices.
Great local Mexican food chain with incredible food. Great refried beans, tacos, and taquitos. Highly recommend The Garbage Burrito with whatever meat (or non meat) you like. This one is new, clean, and has friendly staff with a drive through. Theyre also great for catering.
Every visit has been delicious. I didnt expect to enjoy the chicken tacos and taquitos so much! My kids love the chips. Quick service, clean restaurant, and good food.
This location doesn’t serve breakfast?! So disappointing, they already open later so we had to wait until 10am for them to open just to find out that we couldn’t get the breakfast. 🙄 I don’t understand why only some locations would serve breakfast, isn’t this a chain? All locations should offer the same thing.
So sad, I feel like they shorted us today. Im a big fan and have been for years but their burritos have been shrinking way to much too quick. My five year old even thought his been and cheese burrito was tiny and we ordered a regular bean and cheese for all and they were all about 4 inches long...disappointed.
2nd time visiting this place. Service was like their food... not that good. 1st time I went I had the garbage burrito and it was 1/2 true, it was garbage. 2nd time there and had the carne asada classic burrito. False advertising cause it was pretty much all RICE AND BEANS, with a couple slivers of unseasoned steak. Once again service was like their food... DISAPPOINTING. I ate the food cause I was hungry, it was paid for, and cause Im a fat boy, but it doesnt mean I liked it. Fool me once Miguels, shame on you. Fool me twice Miguels, shame on me. If I do ever go back it would be for water or their lemonade. The cooks need to use bigger tortillas and learn how to properly wrap a burrito. Miguels, please take more pride in the slop your slinging.
I find the food consistently good here. The California Chile Relleno burrito is especially tasty. The service is usually prompt but there are moments it might take a little longer during the rush hours. I would definitely recommend trying the food here.

Its been a year since I last ate there, my memory is an employee servicing the condiment bar with package products that didnt coincidence with the stated family values. The guacamole was a very running soup and nothing was cleaned. I threw my food away and left.

I love this place and I believe anyone that grew up eating does. Theres something refreshing about their beans, no Mexican restaurant comes close to the creamy goodness of their refried beans. Their tortillas also make for a soft delectable treat that pair so nicely as a wrapping for all their varieties of burritos. Their nachos with shredded chicken are super filling and so tasty! Their shredded chicken tacos are AMAZING! Basically mostly everything on their menu will be able to satisfy the pickiest of eaters. Make sure to order an orange bang or horchata with your meal and enjoy!!!!Lucky for the newer foodies, Miguels has expanded from Corona over the last couple of decades so you can locate one near you.

This place is awesome! The food is great and Ill never stop coming here. However, the guy manning the drive thru lied about having horchata. When I asked to have horchata at the window you could see he was pretty upset that the lady standing there confirmed there was horchata and began pouring the drink. He was telling her to not do it and continued doing his job frustrated. However I wont hold it against them the food is awesome.
I only eat here when meeting my girlfriend; the quality the 2 different Miguel Juniors is slightly better than Taco Bell or Del Taco at best, which obviously isnt saying much.

This is the worst food Ive ever had in my entire life. Including the food posioning I got visiting Mexico. It had one flavor: salty. And thats being generous. The chips are greasy, the guac was a salt bath with green food coloring, and the beans are light brown mush. The salsas were just canned tomato sauce and the vinegared carrots were soft salt discs. The tortillas were the unleavened bread mentioned in Leviticus made with just flour water. I genuinely dont understand how this place gets any business. Its not cheap, and the food is horrible. The only positive was the good service. Please, dont waste your time. Just go to Chipotle.
The food is always tasty. Recently I have been getting burritos wet style which comes doused in enchilada sauce and is sprinkled with cheese. No way could you eat it while driving. Use a fork and knife.

My first and might be my last trip to miguels jr. I bought 2 regular burritos shredded beef & chicken also 1 Beef taco with cheese no lettuce for my 5yr old. I get home & the taco had lettuce so i go bac..then get home and my burritos was all beans and rice looked like a a pinch of meat..I dont think i want to take a chance going back to a migules ever again smh..$15 for two bean & rice burritos ..

Ive only had the pleasure to eat here once...but, I will be back over and over...recently had the chicken tostada....the tostada shell was crispy and not greasy...the chicken was deliciously grilled on an open flame broiler and I could taste the mesquite smokey flavor...deelicious...loved the selection of teas and fruit drinks...Miquels is a treat worth coming back again and again...and thats just what Im going to do right after breakfast today...

The food is good. But i was quite annoyed how the dining room was dirty. The drink station was dirty, the cold bar where the sauces are were dirty. The tables and floor were dirty....while staff were just hanging out and talking. 😑

Nice place, tucked away in a quiet corner of the plaza. It is always kept very clean. I have only had one small issue ever, an honest mistake, and it was corrected immediately. Cant beat that.

I love Miguels jr but Im giving it a three stars because they dont sell breakfast anymore and their breakfast was so good :(
I have gone to Miguels since the mid 70s when it first opened. The food is delicious and the owners are super supportive of the community!

Bean, rice (or without) and cheese burritos, is the second best thing on the menu. Chili relleyno burrito comes in first, it lacks in amount of the chili, but all in all, its eatable:)

Burritos seem much smaller... they are very good but too small

I would consider myself a nachos fanatic. But the nachos I got here were greasy as hell. Thanks gas x for helping through this.

2022-07-05Love the food always so delicious. But oh my goodness you need to try the strawberry lemonade! Its the absolute best, the stuff cravings are made for. The staff is always so pleasant. Highly recommend when you need some Mexican food!

2021-09-25Order two garbage burritos carne asada and shredded beef, tasted great but my only complaint is that there burritos was half the size of the normal burritos that i usely buy from this location. The honors goes to the evening Chef. BTW Chil Relleno and Enchiladas was great hands down

2022-05-25Gonna have to give this place a one star . It has good food but when you pull a hair out of your mouth from a bite of a shredded beef taco and the supervisor promises you will be refunded your money I never saw a dime out of it . He replied to my wife’s email and said he sent the refund through mail through a gift card . Which is complete bogus I ain’t 5 to believe that . Three weeks go by and she checks up and still nothing . I dont no who he is fooling but I’m sure he would not want a girls long hair coming out of his mouth when eating some tacos . Never coming back ! Rude service on trying to get a customer to come back and I was a good frequent visitor for the tacos . Yes sure they replace me with another customer , but u can’t replace ur lack of honesty and yes I have the pictures to prove it just drives my wife and I mad that they would lie . To be honest don’t reach back out if ur gonna lie to a customer rather have been ignored ong !

With the ingredients being properly prepared culminating to a delicious taste the portions culminate into something that is less worth the effort into buying. Everything is delicious but what are you paying for?

2022-06-10Do yourself a favor, get a garbage burrito or taco salad. They may have taken it off the menu, but ask for a burrito box with your burrito, you get a drink, chips and guacamole.

2020-08-10Before even leaving Miguel Jr I checked my food I called them asked them did they put extra cheese cuz its not marked on my food for the 5th time coming here and the guy who picks up tells me Im wrong we always mark are food well what happened here you take my money for the extra and I dont get any extra just extra attitude. Dont want my money back I want my food if your not going to put extra dont make me pay extra...

2019-07-28Miguels Jr is a great spot for great food, at a great price. This here nachos with shredded chicken was filling and delicious, enough to satify either oneself or to share with someone else. In addition to the food, the service and staff were great.

2018-05-02I love this place! I used to live here and the food has always been great. Plus very reasonably priced! I just recently visited after eight years away and one of the first places I had to stop at was of course Miguels Jr! Personal favorites include the shredded beef tacos or either the shredded chicken taco!
