Purchased newly built home from discovery homes. This construction is poorly built with the guarantee that any faults found would be fixed. It’s been weeks since I have filed a report online and the service has not been addressed. No contact has been made to update me on the process of how it will be fixed. They get you to buy a home on the premise of their workmanship and loyalty to the customer. Well, just trash that and look for another company.

We decided to go through with our privately hired home inspector against the discretion of the seller, stating “you’re wasting your money”. The home inspector found water leaks, unsealed shower doors, nails sticking out of the fence, etc. we have reported this the listed findings (among many others), with no response of the company to fix it, even though in our buying process they have reiterated the fact that they stand behind their word to fix the wrongs. Very unhappy with the poor service provided and lack of communication. Highly unprofessional.

Lived in a Discovery for 6 years, building has been pretty good for the most part. Disappointed they dont stand behind their work. Poor plumbing installation when home was built and they refused to even come look at the issue, even though by law they are required to do so.
