Came to Mazda of Orange looking to test drive a new CX-5, my husband and I walked around for a bit outside and then we were greeted by Fernando Coronado. He was very friendly and personable! He made selling our vehicle and leasing a breeze. I highly recommend working with Fernando Coronado, he will keep it real, keep it easy and let you enjoy the process. 100/10 recommend Fernando Coronado

Mazda of Orange is a great location to shop for new cars ! Alex Yang, one of the salesman at the dealership, was extremely helpful in providing me with all the details about the car I was getting, and was super patient with my case of financing as we ran into small hickups here and there. The financial manager Steve Choi was also great, as he guided me through the entire payment process and was super patient as well. Overall a great location, recommended if you are in the market for a brand new Mazda.
It was my first time purchasing a vehicle which was kind of intimidating, however as I entered the mazda of orange dealership, I was greeted with a huge smile by Fernando Coronado. He was professional yet friendly from the very start and was great in explaining all the details regarding the purchase of the car. Also, due to the insane car market that’s currently going on, the price was an added worry which Fernando immediately took care of the best that he could! I couldn’t have asked for a better car buying experience!
The service area is clean and the staff is polite. Mohammed was very upfront with my regular service case and even though the technician had recommended a service to be performed in the next visit, he suggested that I dont actually need to perform it until it is time for the Major service which is probably a year down the road. This is called great work ethics and honesty.Thank you!
The car salesman was nice, informative and not pushy. He was great, but the finance manager was typical rude and pushy.They get you into their dealership with the advertise no markups and accessories, but try to sneak in accessories. They do not honor what they verbally agree to.Its one thing to mark up their vehicles, but dont lie and say you dont. Stay away unless you like wasting your time and taken as a fool.
My older model Mazda broke. I had to have it towed into the dealership and I couldnt afford to get it fixed. As a divorcee starting anew, I didnt have the means to get a new vehicle. Id been to places that promised I would be helped, but then I was let down - it was hopeless. Then, I met Alex Yang. I explained to him my situation and he said he would help me, but I didnt take him seriously because of what Id experienced. Alex was different, though. He was honest with me and explained how things worked and I liked that. He spoke to his finance manager and then told me they would work really hard to help me. Alex invited me in to the showroom and he worked really hard to get me into something I could afford. His finance manager worked his magic and got me financed - for the first time in my life with a real dealership - to get a vehicle for me. I couldnt believe it. I was overwhelmed, over joyed, and ecstatic. Alex was God sent and I am now driving my new used vehicle. Mazda of Orange is the only place that treated me without judgement and without sympathy. I felt like I mattered, not for the sale, but for the fact that I was desperate to have means of transportation and they helped me. Thank you Mazda and thank you Alex Yang . Im not forgotten by the Mazda team because they continuously ask how Im doing and if I need anything to let them know. Now, that is class A customer care. Firstly, I wanted to thank the team here for being patient and understanding with me. I was away and out of town but Gabino helped to secure my car till I got back. Thankfully, I was able to receive my 2022 CX-30 S today without any delay or issues.Raul was extremely kind, thorough, and hospitable at this Orange, Mazda Dealership. I appreciate how sweet and welcoming he was to not only me but also to another client that walked in and needed help. He was knowledgeable about the car and any questions I had from the very start to the very end of my whole experience at this dealership. Thank you Raul!Lastly, VJ, the financial advisor was absolutely the most wonderful, most kind, intelligent, and detailed with my paperwork. He was such a pleasure to work with but also someone whod answer all my questions. I appreciated how he took the time to review the details in my paperwork but also, provided an honest conversation in what additional packages Id need for my car. I couldnt help feel really confident in VJs service and knowledge as hes been with the company for 10-11+ years. UPDATE 6/16/2022: Within 24 hours of posting my review, I was speaking with Dave, the General Manager. He listened as I recounted my entire experience. He was attentive, apologetic, and sincere. He asked me to bring my car in for service to give them a chance to make it right. As this is the closest Mazda dealer to my home, I really do want the convenience of bringing my car there, so I agreed.I ended up working with Paisley in service and she was outstanding. I originally scheduled to bring it in the same day - which they were doing to accommodate my availability. However, on the way over, I received a call that my job schedule had changed. I reached out to Paisley and she cheerfully helped me reschedule to the following Tuesday.Brought my car in on Tuesday and Paisley, along with the other staff, were all very friendly and helpful. Since I needed them to check on a possible warranty issue, she provided me with a loaner at no cost. I also stopped by the office and was able to meet the GM and thank him for all the effort to provide me a much better customer experience.They ended up keeping my car over night to give the technician extra time to confirm my warranty issue was completely addressed. Paisley texted me regularly with updates, which I really appreciated. When I picked up my car the next day, it was washed and ready to go. Paisley immediately brought it upfront. No waiting forever for someone to find the time. And my car is now running beautifully too.I was impressed that the GM took the time to read and act on my review. And, that he, Paisley, and the other staff sincerely worked to make me feel appreciated and cared for as their customer. I will definitely be taking my car back to them! :)Original Review:I visited Mazda of Orange a few weeks ago when they were previewing the new CX-50. I spoke with Alex Yang in sales and was impressed with the customer service I received from him, even though I made it clear that I just leased my current CX-5 last August and I wasnt ready to upgrade. I definitely would have gone back to him when I was ready though.Because of my experience with Alex, I decided to go to visit their service department for my next oil change. I saw on the website that I could text the service department to schedule, so I texted the number last Thursday around 1pm. I received a reply about 5 minutes later saying that someone from their service team would reach out to me. So, I waited. No text or call on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.On Sunday, I texted again expressing my disappointment that no one had contacted me. Ken, the General Sales Manager, responded saying that he had conveyed my original message to them on Thursday. He apologized and said that he has reached out to his service manager and someone would call me on Monday since the service department was closed.It is now 7:06pm on Monday and I did not receive a call or text from anyone at the dealership. How hard is it to return a call when someone wants to use your services? Sad statement about their level of customer service.Im giving the rating two stars because I really appreciated the customer service Alex Yang (sales) provided when I visited the store, but Im not going to buy my car from a dealership that doesnt want my business for the long haul.I wanted to send this in a private email to the stores GM, but Ironically, all the links to their website that talks about their staff just lead to blank webpages or none found errors.UPDATE: I did text Monday evening and I finally received a call from someone from the service department on Tuesday at 10 am. I believe his name was Eric. His only comment was to ask me how he could help me. No apology for the delay, no urgency to assist me or improve the level of customer experience, and no trace of enthusiasm about helping me.I told him that he could not and expressed my disappointment again.
I sold my CX-5 via the KBB instant cash offer here. Sarah helped me through the process. She appraised the vehicle, and explained everything to me clearly and concisely. Once I decided to do it, she had all the paperwork ready for me before I arrived and inspent less than 10 minutes signing and wrapping everything up. I highly recommend working with Sarah if you are selling your vehicle through KBB.
When in to check out their prices, and was surprised as to how friendly they are. Didnt experience any pressure to buy, the manager and salesman were both fast and efficient to getting us the Mazda 3 we wanted reasonably fast. Id recommend looking for Fernando, if he can help you get the car, youll know in minutes. Almost for got to add a picture.
After my car was totaled I went to Mazda of Orange and Adrian the sales guy really helped me out! Not only did he get me a great deal on my dream car, but he was super nice and easy going. He’s very professional and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Him and Sarah, in finance, made sure I was taken care of and understood every step of the transaction. They even went the extra mile and stayed late to help me out. If your looking for a Mazda go see Adrian!
The literal worst experience I have had at a business in my life. The general manager, David Johnson, scolded my wife and I for minutes on end about an option contract. Horrendous day, however, the Mazda down the street took care of us with no problem and we left with a new car. Please avoid this dealership at all cost.
Before finding Mazda of Orange, I was struggling quite hard to find an honest, trustworthy dealer for a car purchase. At Mazda of Orange, it was a pleasure working with Adrian and VJ. They were very kind, helpful, and open to any question or concern I had. Even after the purchase, they kept in touch with me to make sure the car was treating me well. I wish I had went to this dealership first. It would have saved me so much time that I had wasted on other dealers who either lied to me or added extra unnecessary fees to mark-up the price. It was definitely a pleasant experience hands down. 10/10!!
I hate going into a dealership and negotiating price. Luckily I had the pleasure of working with Jason Dale at Mazda of Orange. We negotiated everything via email and he delivered everything (and a little more) than what was agreed upon. All that was left to do was go in for a test drive and sign the financing docs. Once I arrived at the dealership, I was introduced to both Jason and Adrian Melendez. Adrian was great. He was friendly, helpful and courteous. He walked us through the initial steps and then handed us over to financing. We had to wait a little bit until finance was available, but Adrian checked on us often to see if we needed anything. We kept ourselves busy, however, playing on their ping pong table. Prior to driving away, Adrian walked us through the vehicle; explaining the bells and whistles (which was incredibly helpful). Finally, a manager approached us as we were leaving to ensure that we had a great experience and let us know to reach out if there was anything they could do for us in the future. We were in and out in about 2 hours. This is the 2nd car we purchase from Mazda of Orange. Their excellent service is the reason well be back.
I actually wasnt looking to buy a car. I just took in my car to get serviced. I ended up trading in my current Mazda M3 for a newer, upgraded M3. I drive a lot so even though my car was only 3 years old it had close to 49,000 miles on it. But I got a phone call from Al Tehrani who made the magic happen and I ended up with a new car thanks to Al! He even helped me with my settings on my new car and was incredibly patient and non pushy. Will come back to him again. And I recommend to my friends.
The service department is one of the best I have experienced. After buying a car from here in 2015, I had it serviced locally to me. However, did not have good experiences with two different local dealerships. Moe, Tom and Will know their stuff and have provided excellent customer service. Thanks for taking car of me!
I had an awesome experience purchasing my car with Orange Mazda dealer. I totally recommend it to you guys. The sales person were great they tried their best to help me purchase my car with them.I was about to forget to give the credit to Fernando he is and excelente sales representative. Fernando helped me get my Mazda and explained it me with details why my CX-5 it’s a good car for me. The day the call me to pick up my car he also taught me and show me how to use every single button from inside the car.
Great experience, easy car buying experience. No car sales mind games, an easy and logical negotiation on pricing, super supportive staff. They walked us through the tech for over 30 minutes, and took a lot of care to ensure we were happy with our car. They followed up a bunch and when I was having trouble with the Android Auto, I immediately got calls from one of their staff members to give support AFTER I already bought the car.
Went to get an oil change on 8/31/2020 Mo the service rep was helpful. Once I got the estimate and my car, a light on the dash board appeared. (It wasnt there beofe) I called him and lm that same day and every day after. Till today 9/3 I havent received a call or msg from him or supervisor. Smh what is this service called 😠👎👎
I came here to buy a car last week, and the team at Mazda of Orange were nothing but kind, courteous and super helpful. I was looking at the Mazda3 Hatchback which has been out in most locations for quite some time, but Gabino was so helpful in letting me know what was going on with inventory/chip shortage. In the end, I purchased the Mazda3 Hatchback Preferred and the process was incredibly smooth. Definitely recommend!
Amazing experience. I talked to every Mazda dealer within 50 miles, and Abe at Mazda of Orange rose an obvious head and shoulders above the rest. No pressure, just good communication and respectful interactions. As a first time new car buyer, I was very nervous about the whole process. I knew what I wanted and we cut the B.S. and went straight to figuring out how to serve my needs. I got frustrated with the multiple phone calls and emails each day from other dealers pressuring me to come in. Abe just answered questions, provided information in a timely and helpful manner, and made the experience feel like a positive exchange instead of a desperate grab to reach numbers. And... the car is amazing. I love it!
Finding a trustworthy dealership that doesnt price gouge and does quality work is like finding gold. We have been taking our 2015 Mazda 3 to Mazda of Orange for service since 2015. They are courteous and friendly and treat us like family. Their work is always excellent and their prices are fair. Give them a try. Youll be happy you did.
I highly recommend Mazda of Orange. Most everyone who works there were very helpful & friendly. There was a slight problem after we took delivery of our car. The general manager David Johnson & the sales manager Ken rectified it quickly. Their product specialist Vin is exceptionally knowledgeable & really took the time to go over everything in the car, with us. Don’t hesitate to buy your new Mazda from Mazda of Orange.
Sarah Wade, Finance Manager, is amazing. Shes fun, friendly, and real.Typically I wouldnt drive to Orange County from L.A., but one of my best friends referred me and I will definitely be returning to upgrade to a new Mazda3 in the next year or two! Totally recommend her at Mazda of Orange.
We went to lease a Mazda and we’re hopeful to leave with one. However we were highly disappointed with our experience here. I told them my Fico credit score estimate and they told me I would be able to get into the tier that I wanted with a reasonable payment. When they actually ran the credit my score was surprisingly even higher, however they then stated that I didn’t meet the requirements of the tier and wanted to charge me 30$ more than what we had talked about. The salesman was very nice and accommodating (i think ivor was his name and I would recommend him) but the desk manager was not at all being fair. This was a very bad experience since we were lured into getting our credit checked and once we did we were asked to pay the price they wanted us to pray. I would not recommend doing business with these people.
Mazda of Orange is a great dealership! They are all professional and friendly. The process was much easier than I thought. I love my new CX-5! I worked with Alex, Sarah, Ken & VJ who are all excellent. If you have a pre-owned car you’re interested in selling or trading, be sure to ask for Sarah. She’ll get you the best price for it.
Out of the 4 car buying experiences Ive had in my life, Orange Mazda was by far and away the best Ive ever had. Hector, Ken French, and Steve Choi were all amazing and I appreciate the way you all handle the experience of purchasing a vehicle for your customers. While a bit far for me, Ill be sure to refer friends and family should they need a new vehicle.
Honest and Straightforward. I reached out to the dealership regarding a Cx-5 GTR and got connected with Anthony Diaz. He answered all of my questions in a timely manner. Most other agencies that I contacted danced around my questions and wouldnt give me details such as the Money Factor or the residual value. Several agencies also straight up refused to sell the car without junk add-on accessories. I faced no such issues with Mazda of Orange. Seems like a genuine place to do business. I have no problem with agencies making profit - just dont force me to buy things I dont want. If you feel like I do, Mazda of Orange can be a good option to do business in this crazy chip shortage car market.
I got my Mazda 3 through Mazda of Orange recently and couldnt be more satisfied with the experience. I have been looking for a specific trim in black, and since I live in south OC I visited other dealers closer to me first, but these guys were the only one who made things happen exactly as I wanted! James was such a professional guide and a wonderful help to me throughout the process. I give them 5 stars and highly recommend them!
This dealership is awesome, they are more than willing to work with you on choosing the right vehicle. All their employees are super friendly as well. I was coming from a dealership that had horrible communication, I would drop my car off for simple services and not hear anything for days. They very much had the attitude of not wanting to do any work.This Mazda on the other hand helped from the second I parked all the way until I was leaving. Would highly recommend at least checking them out if you’re in the market for a new car or trade in. I know I’m more than happy that I left my old dealership and found these guys

Great experience buying my 2021 CX-5 Grand Touring. Everyone I dealt with at Mazda of Orange went out of their way to be helpful. Special mentions to Jakelin who answered a ton of my questions pre-appointment, Hector who spent time going over the features of my car and arranging my deal, Steve who handled the financing and Vinh who gave me a thorough rundown of the tech. I live some distance from Orange and Hector even arranged to personally deliver my car. Love the car, got an awesome deal and the service cant be beat. Thanks!
Our experience at Mazda of Orange was exceptional. The dealership itself was clean and spacious. We were greeted immediately. We had an appointment with Tito Molina. When we asked for Tito, the person who greeted us knew who we were and said that Tito was waiting for us….right on time.Tito was outstanding. He made the car buying process enjoyable and seamless. Tito was professional, trustworthy, kind and knowledgeable. Before I was willing to go to the dealership, I asked detailed questions about the pricing. I had done my own research about taxes and allowable charges and Tito answered each question with patience and straight-forward answers. When we got to the dealership the pricing was exactly what I had received via email – no hidden charges.In addition to Tito’s excellent service, Jason Anderson (Finance Manager) was also terrific. He went through the paperwork in a timely manner, explaining what we were signing in plain language. He detailed and offered us the extended warranty plan but did not push us. He was friendly and proficient.If you are planning on buying a Mazda, go to Mazda of Orange and ask for Tito Molina. You will be happy you did!
If you plan on working out a deal online with a sales associate due to the pandemic, I would avoid this dealer at all costs as they will not reserve a vehicle for you even for a couple of hours.Before I begin the review, I want to thank Joe Ehlert for working with me on the Cx-30 I was about to pick up. He worked relentlessly in finding a good deal that worked for me in my short timeframe, and am extremely grateful for him.What I take issue with is the company policy that the manager, Nery, stated that in-store customers take precedence over online customers.Joe and I worked on a deal that I verbally agreed to at 230pm to come in around 6pm the same day to sign the necessary paperwork.As I rolled into the dealership at 530pm, I was notified it was sold and my deal was void. This is when I spoke to Nery and he stated the policy above and mentioned no deal is final and the customer who came before me could walk out too.What kind of bs is that? So the other customer hasnt even signed the deal or worked out the financing but because he was in the door before me he gets to reserve it? During a pandemic, thats is some pretty backwards logic in that because I was trying to be safe and negotiate remotely, I dont have the right to have some small window similar to the other customer to even drive to the dealership to sign the paperwork? And to add insult to injury, Nerys demeanor was as if he didn’t care with his hands in his pockets and head leaned back.Ive been car shopping for the past 3 months, and this was without a doubt the most unprofessional interaction Ive had with a dealership.
I got Mazda6 GTR from this dealer. They have very good customer service. They offered great price on the car, really liked the deal. I just went for a test drive and ended up buying the car, thanks to Jacqueline Flores. She was very patient taking all my questions, since this is my first car had lots of them and she was not pushy. She even called me the next day to check if I liked my new car and if everything was ok.
Had a great experience with getting a new car with Fernando, Steve, the Sales Manager and Vinh! There was never a pushy moment, they were helpful and easy going with all questions I had. They stayed late and happy to get me going with my new car. I would recommend this team to anyone! Thanks guys!
Update: Im taking the time to post this, even though I already made a similar review on another site, because Im really please with Mazda Orange. First of all, I got a great deal on a Mazda 3 Hatchback AWD a couple of months ago at this dealership. I did my background research, so I knew what would be considered a fair deal. What I love most, however, is they respected the fact I did my research, and didnt insult me with trying to get as much out of me as they could. We agreed on a fair price quickly. Nobodys time was wasted with haggling. This is how buying a car should go: win/win. I want to follow up to also express appreciation for Abe, the GM of Sales. He was both professional and considerate, even when I had questions regarding service. Jacky in sales is also extremely polite and helpful.
If I could give no stars I would. So I saw a used 2015 Toyota Rav 4 on auto trader and it looked amazing so I contacted mazda of orange. Went in talked financing and they assured me that they had checked the car before giving it to me etc. First time buyer even though it’s used, I have finally been able to buy my own car by working hard. Excitement soon turned to worry as the next day I heard a shudder sound coming from my car when I accelerate. Also I check my oil and it was on the lowest notch, this is basic so it worries me that either there was a leak or they didn’t due the checks they said they did. But it’s just oil after all so I overlooked it but I did notify them of it. They wanted me to bring it in so I did and when I did I notified them of the noise I’ve been hearing, they didn’t check the noise they just checked my oil 4x. After telling them that there was something potentially wrong with the car they sold me and scolding, they told me to come in so they could check it out. By the way i was in tears every day just because of the treatment of how they just talk in circles around me. So I took it in and they did an oil change and full inspection and what a surprise there was nothing wrong with my car! So the noise is nothing, just a product of a car with 106,000 miles on it (this is what they kept telling me). I asked them if they could take my car overnight so they could drive it in the morning to hear the sound and they said it was pointless since they already inspected it. I later called and asked them to do this again and they said no that the noise is just a product of the car s miles. So I took it to my mechanic and he made the EFFORT to take my car overnight and drove it and heard the sound and the machine diagnosed as my transmission! Specifically the torque converter, which will cost 1600$ to fix. As a first time buyer, as a woman, as a human being I am insulted and disappointed by how I have been treated. I’d say don’t buy used car from here but I will also say don’t buy from here at all.

I had a very positive experience in my purchase of a 2021 Mazda CX 5, at Mazda of Orange. My salesman Hector was very patient and let me browse the lot. He was able to answer all my questions and helped me make my decision with no pressure. I love my Grand Touring CX 5 snowflake white exterior with a parchment leather interior, very classy looking. I felt the Mazda of Orange team took very good care of me and appreciate there efforts in making my experience positive.
The place is your classic old school car dealership, and I dont mean that in a good way. All the stereotypes you hear about in a dealership, youre likely to see it here. The only reason why I ended up buying a car here is because out of all the dealerships Ive visited that day, they still had the best offer on the table, but that might be the only saving grace of my entire experience.I was using Truecar to check the prices and offers on various different cars and brands, and a salesman that went by the name of Fernando actually sent an offer on a car that seems to be a pretty good deal. I called him up to get an appointment to check out the car. When he answered he had no clue what deal he sent me and asked me for info on what he sent. That immediately left a poor impression, but I get it, hes probably contacting dozens of people in a day.When I did get into the dealership at the appointment time we agreed on, the man was busy with another transaction! He literally gave me the keys to the car I was interested in, and told me to take a test drive by myself, and to take as much time as I want (I wonder why). Such terrible customer service! Lucky for me I had already spent the day test driving the car at various different trim levels and did a lot of research before I ended up here. But if this was first dealer of the day I went to instead of the last, I wouldve walked out right there.Luckily when I came back from the test drive he was still busy and passed me on to another salesman. His name was Joe Ehlert I believe and he was miles better with the customer service. He was kind, attentive and respectful of my time. I think from then on the only issues I had were with what I would assume are company policies and practices he had to follow, so Im not gonna blame the guy. They had a few add ons on all the cars in the lot (paint protection film and security), which Im not even sure my car had. Tried negotiate the price down by asking for the removal of these things which was a no go. The price was still better than the offers I had received from other local dealers so I agreed on the purchase.When all was said and done and I got the car home, I dont think it even had the paint protection film they were charging me for, and I noticed the third party security system on the car was disabled. I realized afterwards I signed paperwork allowing them to disable it, even though I couldnt negotiate it off the price. That was my bad. They also ran a credit check on me even though I paid for the car in full with cash. They asked me to fill out a form that seemed like a credit check form, and after asking and being assured it was just a form for my personal info, they still ran a credit check. Odd thing to do for someone buying a car with cash, but maybe Im just not familiar with the typical dealership practices.So yeah. For my experience there the only saving grace was the price. Joe Ehlert was a good guy, and the only things I will fault him for is what I assumed he was asked to do by his higher ups. Fernando sucks, his customer service and his attitude is the worst Ive seen out of all the salesmen Ive had to interact with during my car buying experience. And like I said earlier, I only purchased here because their offer was best out the myriad of dealerships I had visited that day.TL;DR: If youre willing to put up with some BS and subpar customer service to get a decent price, this might be the place for you. If not, look elsewhere. Also if Fernando is your salesman, ask for someone else.
I got myself the Mazda CX-5 that I’ve always wanted with the package I hoped for. Always such a great experience at Mazda of Orange. This the second time I’ve gotten a car here and drive all the way down from El Segundo just to go here. Would definitely recommend to everyone I know.

His customer service is professional and he is so friendly and makes the whole process so simple. He got me a loaner vehicle right away and within a few days my vehicle was ready to go. My wife and I just leased our 3rd and 4th Mazda vehicles from Mazda of Orange. We were so pleased with how we were treated 3 years ago and our vehicles were trouble free, we really liked them. We decided to stay with Mazda and were treated even better than 3 years ago. We felt we were treated fairly and honestly and all the Mazda of Orange staff were friendly and very helpful.
I purchased a new Mazda 3 Hatchback Preferred Trim from this dealership a month ago. Initially my car buying experience with this dealership was smooth. It wasnt until 2 weeks after I purchase my car from the dealership did I realize the finance department made mistakes. So much to the point where I really do regret dealing with them...Here is a quick list of some of the issues I encounter:- The finance team made multiple mistakes on my paperwork. Which resulted in me returning 3 times to sign documents that should of been done the first time around.- My paperwork was not process properly. They wasnt even aware of the mistake.-Their foolish mistake caused the car I traded-in to be paid off after 23 days. (It would of been longer if it wasnt for me following up.)Honestly if it wasnt for the poor execution of the financing team doing their job, i would of actually gave this dealership a 5 out of 5.. Mazda of Orange will never get my business again. They left such a bad taste in my mouth.

I usually email dealerships to negotiate and finalize my numbers before heading into the dealership and Mazda of Orange was amazing responding to emails and answering all my questions over email. I was pleased with the process and the car I was able to lease from them.

I was well taken care of all around and Paul Figueroa was a real professional as well even after taking 4 different test drives with me. I finally got a car that best met my needs. After months looking for a car,I got in touch with Chuck and he was able to get me more than I wished for at my exact budget. Very easy, everything was taken care of within the same day and was excited to drive away with my brand new Mazda. Ray helped me get to the price I needed and Pat thoroughly explained all the finances. Absolute worst place to buy your car!! I cant tell you enough how many times these people messed up! I went in telling them I was already financed through my credit union and Desmond insisted that he could get me a better rate so they ran my credit not once but 8 times!!! So now I have 8 hard inquiries on my credit score! Not only that but they promised incentives when I finally went through my credit union and I never got them. When my car needed to be serviced for the first time we were promised by Desmond and his manager that they would wash my car and fill it up. When my husband asked about it he said something like oh we didnt get it in writing! I will never buy a car from here again! Nor will I refer anyone here! I wish I would have gone to mazda in Riverside where my mom got the best customer service!!! If I could rate this place lower I would!!
I am completely satisfied with my new mazda 3. Hector Partida is a mazda specialist who really listens to customer’s needs and makes sure you make the right decision. Before taking off with my car, Vinh, another specialist thoroughly explained all the cool features of the car. I’ve had other premium cars from Bmw and Lexus but none of them were as nice and insightful as Mazda of orange. Thank you!
I called the day before and spoke with three different people about a vehicle. Gabino on the phone, Jakelin via text and email, and Katie on the phone again. I was concerned about an accessory that was included in the quote I was sent. Gabino told me via text that it was already installed on the vehicle. After speaking with Katie and expressing my concern about this add-on, she said were not willing to lose you over a couple hundred dollars and encouraged me to make an appointment.Upon arriving, there are signs posted requiring face masks, however, many employees were not wearing them correctly and had them either under their noses or pulled towards their chin. I checked in at the front desk and no one seemed to know who Katie was, but Alec was willing to help me out.After test driving a couple of cars, I made it clear that I was prepared to buy and had financing pre-approved. Alec sat us back down and presented me with a price sheet of what the car would sell for if I took it today, which was the sticker price advertised on their website. After expressing my concerns about the edge guards and that there are comparable or newer models nearby for less that what he is offering, Alec then asked what would it take to earn your business? and left us to talk it out and write our ideal price on his estimate. After coming to a decision on what wed be comfortable with paying, another person took over the transaction, briefly introduced himself, grabbed the paper I wrote on, and brought it to what I assume is the managers office. We did not speak to Alec from this point.This person insisted that the price offered was quite a deal and in the 99th percentile and that the only vehicle to beat his price was hundreds of miles away. I countered that its not comparable to the prices I located myself, and this person revealed that he had no idea that I even wrote a counter offer on the sheet he took back, so he had to go back to get it. The most he was willing to negotiate on was adding the edge guards for free, which I already made known that I was not interested to begin with. It was clear that he was not willing to drop anywhere below sticker price despite providing him with several comparable options that went for far less than what he offered. I was told to go and look elsewhere several times and felt as though they just wanted me out the door instead of being treated as a serious buyer.Unless youre interested in being treated like someone that thinks sticker price and free add-ons that provide no real value are a deal, I would not recommend this place to someone looking to purchase a vehicle.
I took my Mazda 3 in for its first service recently. I will preface this review by saying that I have since spoken to the service manager (Steve) and he assures me that my next visit will be much better because they are shaking the service department up.Appointment at 10am - didnt get helped until 10:45. They said our alignment was out base on their new machines. OK. So we ate the $120 alignment suggestion. I paid for all of my service up front when I purchased the car because the sales guy said it was a great deal. Now I am locked into this mess. Once inside we waited another 30 minutes for the service cashier to find us in the system since we had prepaid.We got a call around 2:30 saying our car was ready. We waited until 3:40 just in case and still ended up waiting another 45 minutes for them to find or wash our car.I called to complain and was sent to a voicemail. After a week of not hearing back I called Mazda Corporate. I finally got a call from Steve and he apologized and promised it would be different next time. We will see and I will update this review when that happens.
I have been coming to Mazda of Orange for three years after leasing my first car from them, and they are wonderful! I have spoken with many of the people who work here, and they are always clear, professional, and (most importantly) keep my Mazda 3 in excellent shape. The prices are also very reasonable. I have never had anything but a great experience here!
Was very satisfied with the service at Mazda at Orange. We were there for a good four hours trying to find a Ford that fit our budget, but we couldnt find one. Rather than pushing us out, Gabino took the time to search the lot for what I was looking for and we came across a Mazda instead. It was a better price point and fit all my technical needs. We brought my payment down and they even included free oil changes for the whole lease term and extra miles on my lease. Overall, love my car and glad we stopped by.
I checked out two Mazda dealers, one in Cerritos and the other in Orange. I decided to go with Mazda of Orange. I am and still are content, happy and satisfied with have gone to Mazda of Orange. Prices are reasonable and fair, customer service is genuine and honest. Right until the very end every step and process was explained and treated with priority. The sales reps are all friendly and understanding and will fight to make sure you receive the best deal possible. Stop on by ask for Gabino and enjoy yourself a test drive. Go experience it for yourself. Treat yourself, invest into yourself because you deserve it.
I took my car in for servicing and it was a lot more than I expected but the service person Raul was very courteous and understanding and explained all the work that needed to be done and told me also what was priority since i was on a budget. When I picked up the car the service people were all very courteous and professional. Even the shuttle girl was very nice and I didnt wait long for the ride to or from work. Nice experience. After getting my car back I have to say it drives nice and smooth like new so I guess the service guy was right on what really was priority. I dont feel bad that I spent all that money since my car runs like new again! Thanks Raul!
Went yesterday to help a friend lease a car, and it was the easiest experience Ive had at a dealership. Fernando (Sales Representative) and Neri (Sales Manager) worked with us and prior to our visit and everything went as expected when we got there. Jason (Finance Manager) was also quick and efficient with us. If youre in the market for a Mazda, give them a call! Oh, and dont believe Neri when he says he doesnt know how to play ping pong!
My experience with Mazda of Orange was fantastic. My salesperson, Julie, was warm, welcoming and incredibly easy to work with. No weird, pushy people here. It felt more like meeting up with family. 2 weeks into driving my new CX-9 I am thoroughly happy with my purchase and would highly recommend stopping by Mazda of Orange if you are in the market.
So I went to this place to check out the new Mazda 3 turbo hoping to do a drive test, but the salesman told me that they didnt have any unit available to do this. They only had one new unit and the guy said that it was not possible to drive it to avoid unnecessary mileage in it. Ok I understood this last point, but what if I wanted to try this new model before taking a buying decision? They should have an unit dedicated to drive tests, like other dealers.And that was not all. The salesman told me that I could go to other dealers if I wanted. Yeah, I will go somewhere else for sure and never come back to this place, but I wonder if this kind of customer service makes them sell more than their competitors. I went to other brands dealers like Wolkswagen of Garden Grove and they allowed me to do drive tests of the GTI and the Jetta GLI, and even if I didnt end buying any of them, they were kind and respectful.Mazda of Orange needs to improve their customer service so bad.
I must say that I am not the easiest client to please but I was pleasantly surprised at Mazda of Orange. I contacted Abe the sales manager and told him what I need to get done with regards to my trade in and new CX5. When I arrived he assigned me a salesperson Fernando who took the time to demonstrate the new CX5. All the numbers made sense like Abe assured me and I was driving out of there with my new car in just over an hour. Thank you Mazda of Orange for an awesome job.

Went in for a couple of recalls on my 2014 Mazda 6. John took great care in understanding my situation of leaving for Arizona in a few days. He explained that the tread on my tires was not ideal, and I should consider investing in new ones for the trip. I was thoroughly surprised that he did not hound me on this matter. I took it upon myself to do the penny test, and low and behold, he was correct. I plan on getting new tires in Arizona. Thank you for your guidance, John!

I brought in my Mazda 6 for the 15k service & door sash molding recall and the check in process was quick. I was dropped off by a shuttle service. My advisor was courteous and quite helpful. When my car was ready, I requested to be picked up by the shuttle service but I waited for over an hour. So I called to cancel the shuttle service & instead had my husband pick me up. My only complaint was to have at least given me a courtesy call to let me know that they were running late. As always when I picked up my car, it was washed and the interior vacuumed. A service I always appreciate.
This is our third car this here, this year alone, due to an accident 😩 Our sales staff James and Ramon were so helpful and thourougb in explaining all aspects of the car and all service functions of the dealer. They were so helpful in walking us through the process of getting my daughters car replaced with the gap insurance. The entire staff is kind and generous. Would recommend to family to friends for sure. MAZDA FOR LIFE!
I bought the car at Mazda of Orange through the internet sales department. Good price, good car buying experience. Kellie Kendall was fantastic, I cant recommend her highly enough, as well as their finance dept. I have been bringing the car for scheduled maintenance. Great service, great hours, I am very satisfied with their customer service.
Staff is friendly. My wife and I both get our oil changed here for our Mazda’s. Sadly we used to pay about 65 each for our Mazda’s with synthetic oil without a coupon but they raised the prices I guess cause with a coupon we pay 78 not. This is the fourth time we’ve gone where they’ve done a terrible job washing our cars. I know its included in the price but if I’m paying more money I should at least get a decent car wash. Also whenever my wife goes alone they always tell her she needs things done to her car to try and get her to spend more money and I always tell her to wait and We get second and third opinions else where and they disagree with the dealership. Most recent visit told me I had a nail in my car that wasn’t repair able. I decided to take it to America’s tires and they checked f it was leaking and it wasn’t and told me they could repair it for free since I have insurance on my tires with them. I ended up taking it to my work at Costco and it was taken care of and haven’t had any problems with it since. We might be searching other Mazda locations for better deals.
Had to do a major repair after delaying it for 2 years and some routine maintenance. Spent a lot of money but I was given a discount to ease the pain. However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that someone reconditioned my hazy, yellow headlights which was never discussed. Plus, the car was washed and vacuumed.
Really enjoyed my experience with Andrew! He was very generous and easy to talk to and made me feel welcome. I came in with an idea of what I wanted and he helped refine that, always providing good advice and input to make sure I was the one making the decision. Definitely recommend coming here.
I live in Irvine and specifically drive to Orange to have my car serviced here. The staff is SO nice and friendly. They even offer complimentary uber/lyft rides to your destination (within a reasonable distance). The area is clean and they offer complimentary hot drinks and water. Ive always had a great experience coming here. Not to mention I got a great deal on my Mazda! Thank you!
Had a good experience buying my Mazda. Eddie Sosa was helping me out throughout my visit there and he alongside the others I interacted with were friendly and down to Earth. I didnt feel like I was being led to purchase a different car than the specific one I was looking for (a Miata) and talks progressed relatively quick enough for me to enjoy my car that same day without feeling like I wasted an entire day in an office like I had been fearing would happen before I arrived. Overall, I enjoyed my visit there and would consider purchasing a car with Eddie further down the line when my needs change!
I put off buying a car because I hate the process. At this dealership, I knew what I wanted, found it, drove two cars to be sure and offered to buy at a good price. Christian was great. No nonsense. The finance guy was efficient. The hardest part of the process was getting the floor mats and gas. It was the best car buying experience of my life.
Beyond excellent ! The service department always goes above and beyond in taking care of my vehicle and me. They are polite, do excellent work on both maintenance and repairs, are accurate with time estimates, provide free shuttle service to and from my house, and even throw in a free car wash. Luis was my service coordinator and he is the best!!!Would not take my car anywhere else.

My questions and concerns were taken care of by a service technician. My car went through a thorough inspection,all areas checked. It was reassuring to know that all the high tech functions were working properly. There are many different high tech features to learn with this Mazda CX5, and the navigation system.The Mazda service staff have been most helpful answering questions that arise.They included a complimentary car wash after service visit, very positive experience indeed!
After my wife and I bought our 2017 Mazda CX 5, I went to buy accessories at their Parts Dept and Ramon who attended to me was so helpful and honored our Costco discount coupon and loaded the accessories to our car. A few days later Erik, Service Consultant handled the installation of some of the accessories. He went out of his way to be helpful and the job was done right, on time and I got the car out vacuumed and washed---just superb service all around.
We drove from Colorado in my Mazda to California and decided to get my car serviced before we left back home and thank you mr.tom Owens at mazda of orange!!!!! He made me like family !! And he was awesome. Thank you again mr.owens. we need more people like him here in Colorado!!!! Again, thank you.
Wish I could rate lower than 1 star.This review is solely based on their service department, as I had a wonderful car buying experience.Now onto the service. I got my oil changed here before and it took about 4 1/2 hours but they did give me a ride home and picked me back up which was nice. But this review will just be about my experience on Saturday 7/2/16.I took my car in because the passenger door wasnt shutting properly, I had to slam the thing to get it to close. I did have it serviced recently to remove a dent caused by an angry motorist but figured something might be up with the latch. Anyway, I take my car in and within an hour they called me to tell me that my warranty didnt cover the damage to the car because the car door was bent. I didnt ask for proof because well, some ***hole decided to kick it pretty hard. Fast forward a couple days and I take it into a body shop on the recommendation of my insurance company. They had 2 technicians look at it and told me they dont see any bends on the door or door frame. They took it into their garage and found that rubber stopper in the door latch had come loose. They just popped it back in and I was on my way, free of charge. This second appointment took all of 10 minutes and cost me $0.As for Mazda of Orange, I dont even think they took the time to look for any other possibilities for the door not closing properly, other than their made up bent door theory. I wouldve given a 0 if I couldve but they earned their 1 star because my service rep was nice, the shuttle driver and the car wash.
Id initially emailed David Johnson (sales manager) on 7/20/20 to inquire about a new vehicle purchase and was connected with Tito via phone chat the next day regarding pricing & available incentives etc. so made an appointment to test drive three different CX-30 builds on 7/22. Since Tito was out of the office, hed prepared notes for an available sales staff (Joe Ehlert) to assist with my pending purchase. Joe was very patient allowing me to take my time test driving all 3 build options, answered all inquiries and transitioned final pricing with Abe Ramjan (floor manager) before segueing to finance division (Ryan) for final documentation while my new vehicle was prepped/cleaned. After final inspection with Abe, I had a minor predicament of getting both my new vehicle and my wifes vehicle back down to my South OC residence. Fortunately, I was offered a mechanic staff to drive my new vehicle home. YMMV, but from initial contact with David to Tito, Joe, Abe, and final finance documentation with Ryan, my purchase experience was painless.
Mazda service was excellent! Luis was polite and professional. He called Lyft and 2 minutes later the driver was there to take me home. Mazda called me 2 hours later to let me know the oil change, recall replacement on the winshield wipers and complimentary car wash was all completed. Lyft was called once again and 3 min later I was picked up and taken to Mazda service department. The paperwork was printed out and I was walked out to my car by Luis; he made sure the paper that covers the floor board mat was removed. Thank You Mazda for the smooth process
I am extremely happy with my last visit. I think the gentleman’s name was Luis that helped me. I went in for a recall and a window fix. The fix was expensive, though this time they did not try and up sell me for anything. The 4 stars is because the previous time before this I went in and was being up sold on everything brakes, tires and those I did not need. Wasn’t happy with that but I hope that the visit I had last will continue.
I bought my new Mazda cx 5 from this dealer 6 months ago. I took my car in on a Friday to get oil changed and assess why my tire pressure light was on. I also got a wash. I was quoted a wait time of 1 hour but i ended up waiting 2 hours. When i picked up my car it still had dirt spots and was dripping wet; i didn’t have time to complain. The next day my tire pressure light came on again. I called the dealer to schedule an appointment. When the called me back they left a message with a return call back number that was MY OWN CELL NUMBER😡. I called the man who sold me my car. He said i probably had a nail in my tire and that i should take it to a tire place because they “don’t do tires there”.... which is suspicious because the Friday before they rotated my tires and as i waited i observed tires all over the walls of the waiting room. After he finally agreed to take another look at the indicator light, he said he would transfer me to schedule an appointment but hung up on me instead. Not good service for a brand new car.
I recently purchased a Mazda3 from Mazda of Orange. Joseph Holmes helped me out and really tried to make sure I was satisfied with my trade in and purchase price of the car I was obtaining. I would recommend him as he knows what he is doing. The only reason Im giving it 4 stars is because the tire pressure sensor went off as soon as I drove off the lot, which perhaps may have been introduced by the rain but regardless, you expect them to fill your tires with the correct amount of air and because they gave me two sets of keys, one which did not work. I had to come back and pay for the battery. It was a cheap fix but you also expect them to make sure the keys they are giving you work.
Service Manager Sarah is not only exceptional in her knowledge of Mazda’s, her customer service and ability to manage her team is one of the best I’ve ever seen. Sometimes mistakes or miscommunication happens. Sarah not only addressed all concerns, she went the extra mile to understand my vehicle, even calling past service departments to get my service record and to anticipate needs on the horizon, giving me a rental for my trouble. She even stayed late to arrange a pick up that would work with my work schedule. And even as I was leaving that night, I saw her stay longer to help an unplanned drop in customer in distress. She very well could have said they were closed but she went the extra mile to calm the driver and get her back on the road driving safely.
I have been servicing my Mazda vehicles at Mazda of Orange for 11 years and the experience is always a pleasant one. This time was more meaningful to me because I had been fretting over a potentially costly repair for my older car and the service rep assured me that it may not be necessary given the age of my vehicle. Very friendly and courteous. Use of a complimentary rental car for my recall repairs was very easy, as there is a Hertz office on the premises. Service manager remembered my name when I returned and offered me a complimentary drink. Repairs were completed satisfactorily. A pleasant experience.
The staff is nice. However, every time i take my Mazda CX7 to be serviced. There is always some kind of issue that comes up on our vehicle that needs some kind of servicing. At first I attributed it to the age of the vehicle (2008); however, our last visit destroyed my trust in this dealership. I just spent $800 on a fuel injection issue. As soon as i picked up the vehicle the airbag light was flashing. I expressed my dismay with the Service Department, and they said that it was a different issue that required diagnostic with an additional cost. After spending another $120 they find out that it was a simple issue with a disconnected wire. Very suspicious. Im simply not going to be using this dealership anymore. Hope the information helps someone out there.

I bought my 3rd Mazda CX (CX5, 2016 CX9, then 2018 CX5). My first salesman was Al and he treated me very calm , no pressure and tried his best to give me a fair deal. Very nice salesperson with experience. The 2nd car was by another salesperson because I forgot Als name. Not a good experience with her, or finance. I was very pleased to have Al!All great except one issue that has me unhappy. I said ok to the security system at $695 but within 1/2 hr changed my mind. But, VJ in finance did a great job and was very professional and kind, he explained it was too late to disconnect it. Im so unhappy and really would like this taken care of esp with buying 3 cars from the Orange dealership. Servic8es done there, too. Erik in service is perfect. Always a smile and treats me good.I hope the new Gen Mgr would be able to get this security system disconnected and off my loan. Esp this being my 3rd Mazda car at Orange. I hope to hear back!Ps Id have given 5 but unhappy about the mazda policy about disconnecting it.Update 12/13: finance manager said he wanted me happy and said I could have it disconnected as he appreciated me as a customer. Al and VJ told him I was a loyal customer. They all took care of me. I decided to keep it as I park in a carport and I was hearing neighbors say there were break ins. So car is safe. 5 stars!Janice M
I have been servicing my car at this place for 5 years and the experience is always a fantastic one. Recently, I didnt have to wait for a week to have the brake system to be examined and fixed. It took only 2 hours and the price was fair. Will continue becoming a regular customer!
Service here is always excellent. We have bought both our cars from here because there service is always above and beyond. We came in for oil change and they also changed out our battery, center piece that was ripping they were all under warranty. Very pleased every time.
I went to Mazda of Orange to get my car serviced and to take care of a recall. I thought that I had made an appointment on-line, but it did not show up on the schedule. Nonetheless, Tom took care of everything. He offered me a rental car for the day because they had a number of customers ahead of me. He texted me with his contact number and let me know when my car was ready for pick up. Tom was professional and courteous and made the whole experience pleasant and satisfying. I have always had my car serviced at this dealer and will continue to take it here. My only suggestion is to fix the on-line appointment website. It is not user friendly.
I had my Mazda services here with an oil change and tire rotation. The waiting room was clean and had plenty of seats. They had coffee, tea, and water available. The only thing I did not like was the quoted wait times. When I called to book the appointment I was told 1 hour wait time. When I got there I was told 2 hours wait time. It ended up being a little over an hour.
Most pleasant car buying experience my husband and I have ever had. Kelli. our salesperson, and Pat, the finance person, were helpful, personable and professional. There was a total lack of pressure and we never felt compelled to buy. But buy we did after the fantastic deal we were offered. Kelli took her time after the sale to make sure we were acquainted with how to operate the many features the Mazda 6 has to offer. She also made it abundantly clear that if we had any further questions we were only to ask. The car is a delight to drive and we suffered no buyers remorse. We wouldnt hesitate to either buy another car from Mazda of Orange or recommend the dealership to anyone who is thinking of buying a new car. We are now the owners of two Mazdas, a 1990 Miata, bought new in 1990 and our new Mazda 6. Great cars and a great dealership!
I financed a car a little bit over a year ago and they got me into a used civic. I was thankful for it for doing what they can. A month later had to change battery and then months after brakes and other stuff to it. Anyways, they said to come back after a year so I can get the car I’d like. So I did and had a $9000 down payment for a used cx-9 and they still couldn’t make it possible. In their website it had a cheaper price and at dealer a higher price. According to the sales man it was according to credit. Which makes no sense.... El Moreno was “trying” to get me approved on a Saturday and I even test drove the car and I fell more in love with it! They said they would have an answer by Sunday 11:30am but they didn’t. It was 12 noon and no call or text. So we were really in need of a car because we were passing the civic to my brother. So we were “bugging” El Moreno and the sales man. We needed to know if it was possible or not because we needed to know where we stand. What we were going to do next. And the most disappointment was that the sales man told us that El Moreno was “at his office working on getting us approved “ and then finding out from El Moreno’s assistant that El Moreno was out having lunch/dinner with his family that came over for him at the dealer to celebrate his birthday. So much of him “trying” while we wait for him. El Moreno said it was impossible that we needed to get a co-signer. So we did, my sister was willing to help. She has fair credit since she has nothing negative nor big loans nor car loan. They still wanted $15,000 downpayment even with her. I was so disappointed knowing that I trusted them in trying to help me get the car I wanted especially if I was a returning client. No way am I recommending this place at all!!! They just give you the go around instead of being straight forward. The more you give down the more they want!!! Thankfully I got approved somewhere else but no way am I ever ever even trying again with this Mazda of Orange. And I didn’t even live near by, I should of tried in another Mazda in the first place.
Mazda of Orange is terrific. Easy, fast and best of all customer focussed! My service advisors have consistently counseled me with straight forward advice so that I can save $$$ and get the best value. Seriously! They price match, and they even order merchandise for you, so you can get what is best for your car (and wallet) not just what is in stock. Even the shuttle service is super and friendly.Two thumbs up!
Great dealership to buy a car, particularly through the Costco Auto buying program. Everyone I dealt with at the dealership was professional and courteous. No hidden last minute charges. No high pressure to buy a lot of the add ons. As an added bonus, the sales representative drove the car to my home to drop it off.
Everything I have experienced at Mazda of Orange have been positive. From the original no BS purchase of my CX3, to being invited to an evening of questions and answers about your vehicle. A tour of the Service Dept. to know where to go when you get there. I made an appointment for my first service which was handled just as described. Aside from receiving my car back with a dent on my left front bumper, the service was good.Unfortunately, I did not notice the damage until the following day.My complaint is that a before and after checklist should have been provided by Mazda and a walk around inspection of my vehicle should have been done prior to the service tech driving away in my car. Had this been done, there would be no argument about who is responsible for the damage to my car.Disappointed.
Everything was perfect. Though it took longer than my appointment time, all workers there were very nice and kind. They washed my car and also did vacuum inside my car which I didnt even expect. Everything was actually above my expectation. My first experience of complimentary service was perfect!
First car buying experience was great! Came to look at a specific used vehicle but ended up with another that I fell in love with. Joseph helped me out and he was great! Not pushy and very helpful. We had been car shopping and showed up to a couple dealerships that just made it complicated and gave us alot of buts. After searching a bit more we decided to check out Mazda of Orange. Since we put foot on the dealership we felt the attention and dedication of HAMID the sales guy towards helping us shop for the car. Everything was explained with details step by step. We ended up with a way better car than we first intended to buy and a great price. Its been 2 days since we got our new cx5 mazda and we just recived a call from them telling us that they got a lower rate for us so now we are gonna be paying 40 dolars less a month, im really happy with my purchase I highly recomend this dealership if you are looking for a mazda or ford and make shure you look for hamid. Trust me hes the one.
I am unhappy with the service I received from this Mazda Service department. I received a full service, car battery cleanup, and the back breaks replacement.I had several questions and the service representation didnt get back to me. After the 1st day.I had the battery fail on me the day afterwards. I specifically asked if the battery was still good. I had to get AAA to replace the battery it as at warning level- he had to jumpstart it. I ended up replacing the battery at ~$150.I tried to get in contact with my service representative. He didnt respond (multiple voice messages and a text). I tried the Service Manager, she didnt respond. Plus there were other questions about my vehicle I still had questions for.After a week of waiting, I had to get a higher manager and finally after *arguing* he finally refunded with a threat of a bad review for the battery cleaning charge (when the battery didnt work). He clearly didnt want to do it. He didnt care about rectifying it.I was without a car for a couple of days through this entire ordeal thinking it wasnt the car battery (because Mazda of Orange said it wasnt) and spent another $10 (that I didnt need to spend... so more money wasted) to get a remote battery for my Mazda 3 based upon information that wasnt exactly accurate concerning the battery.When I asked about a coupon in the beginning, the service representative sent me to the website and gave me a worse coupon (the $20 one for the breaks and not the $30 version which was the Mazda service special). I asked for the difference after finding out (and not getting a hole of the service representative) and the manager refused to give the difference for the better coupon with semantics about how it has to be presented at the time of paying. It feels very scummy. I guess its my fault for not looking more thoroughly when he mentioned one coupon but didnt care to mention a better one that was $10 more savings.It gets a 2 star couldve been better than a 1 star, simply because I did get the refund for the battery cleanup (it wouldve been a 1 and I wouldve possibly complained to their corporate office). But it was a fight and having a happy customer was less important. I didnt get the $10 difference of a better coupon- which he flat out refused. I spent $398 here (with more stuff that has to be done in the future), and I dont think I can recommend this place. It seems like once they have your business they dont really want to rectify anything. The $10 difference of the coupon and at least an apology that not just the service representative, but the service *manager*, didnt get back to me to begin with as I was stuck with a dead car, wouldve been nice as well. (I do have the receipts of the battery replaced by AAA as proof so Im not making it up).They do not care after they have your business the first time around. You may want to seriously consider a different Mazda dealership. This has been the worse dealership so far.
Doc is Amazing!! My daughter needed a new car. We went to Mazda of Orange to look at their used car inventory. She found a beautiful 2015 Mazda 3 with low miles. She fell in love. Even better, it was Certified pre-owned!! Doc really helped us to get payments she can afford. This is our 3rd car with Doc and it will not be our last. Thank you Doc and thank you Mazda of Orange
I had a flat tire that could not be repaired, they ordered the tire for me the same day. It was delivered and installed on time as estimated. I am really like the service there. They are very attentive to your concerns. The only thing I should have done is to get the written cost before ordering because the guy said $256 when I asked but the bill came out $369.
My husband and I were only going to test drive a car since we had an infant with us. though Cristian and Pat made car buying experience easy and hassle free! Cristian went straight to the point and meet our desired payments and gave us multiple options for down payment in a few minutes. Therefore we purchased a car.Unlike Nissan dealerships that tried to haggle us and overcharge us.
Very shady. They will stand firm on their internet price, which is fine, then hit you with an additional $1000 fee for dealer installed alarm system. They refused to sell the vehicle for the advertised price and then tried to make up a story about some problems with the car that they failed to disclose during the hour we spent inspecting the auto. There are enough legitimate competitors within a short drive there is no reason to even consider buying here. This is the worst dealer experience I have had in over 30 years of car buying. Save your time and money and go straight to Tuttle Click Mazda in Irvine. We headed there after the fiasco at Mazda Of Orange and had a great experience getting exactly the car we wanted at a fair price.
My Mazda 3 got serviced a while back and another customer of Mazda ended up side swiping my car. As soon as this happened, I got a call to notify me that my car had been hit and that it was going to be taken care of. Mazda made sure to send my car in as soon as the incident occurred, as well as providing me with a vehicle to drive in the mean time. They were very on top of their services, and although my car had been hit, they took care of it right away. Thank you Mazda of Orange!
I went to get both an oil change and had a service recall and both were taken care of really fast. My service rep, Joel, understood that my car had to be complete at an exact and he delivered indeed. I dont go anywhere else but here. I love this place and my car, Clementine, does too.
Okay I bought a Mazda 3 in the Summer 2015 but I thought I would leave a review....They advertise as a dealer for the credit challenged and yes their finance people are very good at pushing through a deal on a car that is new and that you will most likely not get approved elsewhere (if you are really credit challenged) . But the terms will be absolutely atrocious to the point that I really regret having done it. Also they did not budge on MSRP because of the bank fee. The experience was not bad but honestly especially if you are credit challenged really think about what you are doing try cleaning up your credit first or do a chapter 7 and once it is discharged then after a time try it.
I had the best experience ever. Everything was done as it was supposed to be done, even though I didnt make an appointment they had everything done in an hour. I was amazed at the percision and details that Edgar offered. He is a man of his word. So hard to find people that are honorable to their word now these days. I had an oil change my car washed and the car display changed in my vehicle. Very impressed. I live out in L.A. But it is always worth the drive to have an experience like that. Thank you Edgar! This review is for the service department. I went on a Saturday - their busiest day for service and I was not impressed. It was my cars first (free) service so they did the oil change, tire rotation, exterior wash+wipe, interior floor vacuum. Firstly I waited 30 mins in line before the worker collected my car keys. The service was completed earlier than I expected, about 1hr 30 mins. But they did a shoddy job at washing the exterior, especially the wheels, mirrors and rocker areas . I had to tell the 2 workers to specifically clean the alloy wheels before I drove the car off the lot. First service for new cars bought at the dealership is free but that is no excuse for doing a shoddy job.
The worst experience ever I took my car to get service on January 06, 2020 my car was making noise. I was told it was normal however 2 days later I got 4 for violations for the 91 express!!!! Ive been talking to the managers there Mary and Eric they both have told me that theyve been paid its now 02/03/2020. Ive called the 91 express lane and they have not paid! My tags are do and I cannot paint them until that is taking care of Ive been calling service asking for help And it seems like they keep giving me the run around I havent heard anything from them they dont return my emails or calls I would never recommend this dealership! I purchase cars at the Dave Wilson location freeway Honda never had this issue I wish someone will please message me and talk to me about this!!!
Several years ago I used to take my car to Mazda of Orange for repair but stopped coming because I felt service staff was dismissive and not concerned with my needs. I recently had to bring my car back in for some warranty work and this time I was treated like royalty even though my car is a 2010 Mazda 3. My service advisors, Tom and Sarah went above and beyond to accommodate me. I was overwhelmed by their care, concern, and kindness, so much so that when I do purchase a new car in the near future, Mazda of OC will be my first choice. I had an incident with my car after driving across country which required extensive repairs. Edgar was assigned to manage my case. He was wonderful to work with and extremely patient (as my car was there for 2 weeks, it was a long process dealing with the insurance company). He also had to deal with some mistakes that the inspector made. Edgar handled it like a pro and made sure that my insurance company had the correct information, and was quick to communicate with the inspector when the mistakes came to light. All was right in the end, and the insurance covered everything thanks to Edgars diligence. Wonderful service. If you have a complicated case like mine, or even a minor one, see if you can request him!
Ive never had a good experience at this place. The salesmen dont know their products well at all. Maybe its because they sell Fords and Mazdas... two completely different makes. Theres nothing more aggravating than when I know more about the product that THEYRE supposed to be selling. The lady answering the phone is clueless. And I can never get a hold of a salesman nor a manager. Ive purchased 3 cars in the past year and it wasnt from here although I walked in there every time I was ready to buy. You need to step up your knowledge base, customer service, and your follow up with prospective customers.
Tom is SO awesome. He took the time to listen to all the things that I wanted the technicians to look into and he also took the time to explain what they did to inspect & fix my CX-5. There were no surprises and thankfully a lot of the little things that I raised came back a-okay! He even had the service manager join us to help show me how to resolve a Bluetooth issue I was having on my own.I highly recommend coming in to see Tom. He’s trustworthy, nice and very knowledgeable!
The staff was very friendly. There was no pressure to buy. There was, however, pressure to buy their extended warranty that left me feeling like maybe the vehicle was not in the best condition and maybe this is why theyre pushing it. ???? Aside from that, they treated me well.
My husband and I will be coming to service our Mazda at this location from here on out. Jr. in the service Department did an amazing job and handeled all of our questions. He was very polite and went over and beyond to make sure our car got all the service done fast and on time.
Weve contacted them several times about warranty work regarding the dash separating from the instrumentation. They were unresponsive, didnt return phone calls, and finally had the audacity to tell us to call back Aug. 31. Going to Mazda HB and will contact Mazda USA to make sure my sentiments are echoed and others do not suffer.

For the most part, I have had a great experience with these people. As a matter of fact, Ill be taking my car in for service again in a couple hours. So be good or I may have to update this nice review...lol! In all seriousness, Ive had great buying experiences there and Ive had mostly good experiences with service (only complaint would be an occasional long wait time but hey...thats life). I think Ill bring my dog with me this time and walk him around the area to kill time and make the dog happy...too bad there isnt a nearby park. Oh well. Anyway, Ive read some pretty serious accusations in some of these reviews...Ive not had any such issues...ever. Weve bought two vehicles from here...both experiences went fine.
When I called to check if they can qualify me they where professional. Once I got to Dealership different story they where pushy for me to give them a down payment because I have gotten approved for car loan. Didnt like the fact that I felt under pressure over buying the vehicle, and wasnt given any private time to over think and talk to spouse about pursuing the buy. They really need to change how they approach customers when walking in. Wont recommend anyone coming here as first buyers!
They failed to pick me up when my car was done being serviced, leaving me stranded at work. When I dropped my car off for service, I told my service rep that I would need to be dropped off AND picked up from work. When the shuttle driver dropped me off at work, he asked if I would need to be picked up. I said Yes. I was later called by my service rep, who told me that my car was almost ready. I reminded him at that time that I would need to be picked up from work and he acknowledged my request. I was never picked up. The service department closed, and I couldnt get my car until the next morning. The cashier the next morning seemed indifferent to my situation (she also was 11 minutes late to work) and I had to wait an additional 8 minutes for someone to retrieve my car. (Jesus Chavez was my service rep. reading review below, I see that I am not the first to write a complaint about him)I replied to an email survey they sent me and described the situation. A week later, I received a phone call survey. The woman did not sound like she had any knowledge of my situation. She informed me that she would speak to the service manager and get back to me with some sort of offer to make things right. I write this review two weeks after I had that phone conversation.
I had the pleasure of being helped by Joseph at the mazda of orange dealer. From the beginning he was very knowledge & not pushy at all. He made this purchase a great one, not once did I feel he was pushing a deal down my throat like most car salesmen , he allowed me to make my decision. I was able to stroll out of there with my 2017 Mazda CX-5. I also must mentioned that John in finance made my signing docs a good experience, the process didnt take that long... great team at the orange location I would highly reccomed.

When my car needs something, this is where I will bring it. One short fall - I had a coupon for an oil change with car wash and vacuuming. The engine service went perfectly, and the car was washed; however, the inside was not vacuumed.
Im actually giving them a 2 1/2 stars, just for the effort of trying to convince us into another lease or purchase. Called them beforehand and explained our situation of an expiring leased car situation (expecting what they so much advertise -> help). Once we arrived, they immediately began paperwork, not really giving any advise as to what we can do (options). After all paperwork was done, we were directed to a sales person to look at cars and almost convinced into buying one. Yet, no mention about the lease situation (after asking several times). Once a car was selected, the how much do you want to pay monthly question came up. The lease we have is at $325.00. So we said, no more than that if less, even better. Aaaaand of course they are trying to do everything possible to help us, but if we can make $465.00, thats the best they can do. Given the credit worthiness and blah blah, blah blah. Again we asked about the lease situation and his response was, oooh, you have a lease, I wasnt aware of that. Weeell, well tack whats due onto your new purchase. Thats the way things are. Not in those exact words, but pretty much how we felt. We, could have simply gone back to the dealer where our lease was made and gotten the same experience and not wasted almost a whole day, a 30 minute drive, and gas. This dealers commercials are deceptive.

This place is insane, the sales are pretended to be really nice, however, they try to rape you off. Sales people will always tell you that they dont make commission at their dealer, and they just try to help their customers find the best deal on the car. DONT LISTEN TO THEM. They are devils. When you buy your car, do your own research and compare different dealership. My own story, same model Mazda 3, they ask $440 as monthly payment, I got $338 at Punte Hills Mazda. That explains.
I called to make a service appointment a few days ago. The operator directed me to a number, no one picked up, and the voice mail box was full. The call automatically redirected me back to the operator. I explained what happened and she directed me to another number. No one picked up and the voice mail box of his number was also full. The call automatically redirected me back to the operator, Laura (?). She directed me a third time to a different number. I’m finally able to leave a voice mail with my information and phone number. It’s been 3 days and no one has called me back. I just moved to the area and wanted this to be my go-to dealership, but I’ll have to look elsewhere since they’re too busy.
I was on vacation in Disneyland when my parking brake light started flashing, I called Mazda of Orange and they were able to get me in mediately. The service rep Elise took amazing care of me and my family. She was able to get us a rental car, fix all the open recalls and even overnight the part for my parking brake!!! The next day when I picked up my car all the staff was very accommodating from the rental car return to the porter that helped us with our suitcases, this place is amazing !! I wish I lived in orange county so Mazda of Orange and especially Elise could always service my car . Thank you!!!
I dropped in last Friday afternoon without an appt to get a few minor things taken care of. Sarah, the SA, immediately took care of me. She got all the work done quickly and my CX-5 got washed. I live a long way from Mazda of Orange but its worth the drive for the high-quality service.

2021-11-14Sales consultant Alex Yang is the best person to look for whether you want to buy a new car or just be friend with him. He is such a nice person to communicate with! He has great product knowledge, great personality, very calm and patient, not pushy at all. We had a fantastic car buying experience with him and Sarah the finance advisor.Btw Alex even gave us ride to pick up food from Panda Express while waiting for a new battery on the car we purchased. Big thanks to him Alex Yang and his team! They really nailed it on customer satisfaction.

It was the most seamless signing process I’ve ever had whilst getting a new car (and I’ve been through 4 now) & also very friendly!DYLAN was super patient and took the time to walk me through all of the cool features on my car and made sure I understood how to utilize everything. 2022-04-15I had a wonderful experience selling my old car at Mazda of Orange. The process was stress free and pleasant. 2022-04-16I just had my first car buying experience and it was a huge pleasure to be able to work with Fernando Coronado. After checking out other dealerships and experiencing other sales people, he made me feel the most comfortable. As a young woman out car buying with my dad, for his car knowledge and experience, I was consistently running into people trying to sell my dad cars even though he would tell them that I was the buyer. Fernando asked all the right questions to determine early on that I was the buyer and my dad was only there to offer his experience. From there, Fernando acknowledged me as the buyer and decision maker. Having that respect made such a huge difference and made me happy to work with him. I am so glad to have found Fernando and highly recommend seeking him out when youre looking to buy your next car.

2022-05-02Was in the market for a manual transmission car and went too 3 different Honda dealerships and 2 other Mazdas. They all refused to let me test drive their cars due to them either being in the show room or highly sought after. Upon immediately entering Mazda of Orange I was greeted by Fernando Coronado. I just want to say he was extremely helpful in helping me find the perfect car for me. I expressed interest in the car in the showroom and after being turned down by essentially 5 other dealerships I expected to not be allowed to test drive it, but he said that wouldn’t be an issue. I was pleasantly surprised. He went out of his way to make sure I was buying the right car. A car I loved. Not only was he helpful, but also very respectful. I never once felt that he was trying to oversell me and he worked tried his best to work within my budget. After talking for a while we eventually struck a deal and I came home with a brand new mazda 3 premium with only 7 miles on the speedometer. If you ever come here I recommend asking for Fernando as he will make your car buying experience very easy and hassle free.
