We have repeatedly used Magnolia Heating and Cooling for several years now. Since we started regular maintenance, the unit has worked in peak condition. Its reflected in our electric bill. All staff, from customer service rep on the phone to the maintenance crew have been professional, honest, and courteous. I highly recommend their services.

My house was built in 1980 and the Heating and A/C was also 42 years old. My furnace was not coming on due to the igniter, so called my home protection plan and they sent out some clowns that did not fix it after I paid the service call fee. So I contacted Magnolia and Bobby came out and gave me a complete and honest evaluation. I decided to do a complete replacement of everything including the ducking. I was told that the project would take 3 days, but they had six GREAT installers working and finished in 2 days without cutting any corners. Me and my wife are so happy with our new system the entire house is all the same temperature. I can not say enough about the GREAT installers that Magnolia have on their staff. It is great to know that there are still some honest companies out there. Thanks again for taking care of my heating and A/C needs.
Magnolia, is a Riverside Business. They are Professional and Personable. They are thorough in the Maintenance and very thoughtful and courteous. Have a 4 zone ductless system that was installed with several issues from a different company. Got a great quote for the repairs. Casey and John arrived on time and were done within a couple of hours. System is running great. Just in time for summer.
Josh was on time and came to a quick decision on what needed to be fixed. Even spent the time educating me on a few of the air conditioning parts which was good information and nice to know. This is probably the third time we’ve used Magnolia and will continue to do so when needed. Very professional group of people.
Setting up an A/C maintenance appointment was easy. We were given a date and time and the name and photo of the service tech. He called to let us know he was on his way and arrived on time. We recently just bought a home in Riverside and had no clue who to call for service. A/C not blowing cold and just wanted someone to look over the systems. The A/C issues was simple and he fixed it no problem. Since we were so happy with the knowledge of Both of the service men that came out we purchased an annual service and maintenance plan. Ive had a lot of questionable experiences with home service companies, but Magnolia is a top-notch company with impeccable professionals and above-and-beyond customer. I REALLY love this company and highly recommend them. They installed a new heat pump plus solar at our house and held our hand every step of the way. Highly, highly recommended.

Magnolia installed a new system in our property, including new ductwork. I first met Eric via a phone call for our Lake Arrowhead property approx 2 years ago. He talked me out of wasting a bunch of money on a system we simply didnt need. He was right. I told him one day ill use his service again with our Pasadena house. Im really glad we did. Eric personally came out to the property, then he had his field supervisor Steve design the new system. The install team Micheal & Joe are amazing, the quality of their work is above and beyond. Such pride. So kind and professional. Price was very fair. My family has owned a HVAC business back east for over 25 years. I shared everything with them to double check the work. They too were pleased with the quality of the install. Office staff is on point and very kind. I 100% recommend them.

So far my experience with Magnolia heating and air has been great. Met with the service man Anthony who explained what I needed and that I would receive a phone call to schedule my maintenance appointment and right on time I got the call, cant wait to start my plan.

Coming from New York I was nervous about having the HVAC serviced not knowing what to expect. Anthony who came to do the maintenance was awesome. He was patient and explained step by step what he was about to do, and then during his discovery and cleaning he gave tips on how to wash the filters and how to best use the auto two zone system.By the time he left, it felt like I had made a friend. Highly recommended. Anthony was really good, took his time and even showed photos of before and after cleaning.Update: July 2022We’ve had two mishaps with the air conditioning units since above visit:1) Anthony came back and had to put in a new Starter in one of the units after which it was running again!2) Jesse (also awesome) re-checked the system after we found it was blowing hot air a few weeks after the starter replacement. On his visit the systems were working as expected. He advised us to use both of the zones at one time saying that when using only one it is fighting to cool both zones and takes more time and energy. We finally have it down where it keep the house at a comfortable temperature coming on and off as needed and working more efficiently.Highly recommend that you get the yearly service package - which covers a couple of additional service and check visits appose to paying for each.
Great service, John and Josh arrived earlier than expected, but in the time frame provided. I needed the evaporator coil in my package system replaced. They work very well together! John had to go to the shop for a part and Josh continued working. The coil replacement would have otherwise taken much longer. After replacing the coil, they checked out my entire system, including the furnace. Everything was working great and still is! My only issue was with Lennox, my HVAC model, it took them three months to get the new coil shipped to Magnolia Cooling and Heating. As soon as it arrived, I was put on the schedule for replacement. I will not buy a Lennox product again! I purchased my Lennox system from another company, I did not trust them to be able to service and repair the issue I was having. I called Magnolia Heating and Cooling. I am VERY GLAD I did! I only wish I had called them before I purchased my system!!
I couldnt be more pleased with this, my first, experience with Magnolia Heating and Cooling. Calling from Claremont to arrange a service call in Carona for my elderly mother-in-law, I found Sarah in the Magnolia office to be unusually cordial and efficient in arranging a service call that same day. She texted me with a helpful confirmation, along with a photo of the technician whod be making the service call and even some information about him. Jesse, the technician, phoned me when he was on his way, and then called again to discuss the thermostat problem that my mother-in-law was having. He resolved the problem quickly and thoroughly. Like Sarah, Jesse was cordial and efficient, a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend Magnolia Heating & Cooling!
We paid $24k cash for a brand new HVAC system- new ducting, vents, AC unit and furnace. This was to replace a 30+ year old system and I deeply regret that decision unfortunately. At least our old system was reliable, sounded and looked like hell, but worked. One year, possibly less- and we have had more issues than I can count. First it was installed and they left a massive open hole in a closet where the previous unit was, they said this would be covered when they bid the job…. then the system blew too cold at first, multiple visits to repair that, then it didn’t pass city inspection, multiple visits and one gentleman knocked over a cement block wall, he told my husband they wouldn’t fix it, then most recently the AC unit turns off and on every 30 seconds, they’re here now adding more Freon (?) and then gentleman said there’s a leak somewhere and they have to come back out AGAIN. I’m losing it. Also when my husband most recently called and we were told that there would be a service fee…. For a system that has never worked properly and was installed by this company!? Sheesh, it’s exhausting. A HUGE investment for a huge inconvenience.
My service tech Anthony, spent time troubleshooting an issue with my AC and figured out the problem that saved me from having to replace a costly compressor.He was on time and very courteous and professional.I stand by MH&C for these reasons.Thanks again, Eric!
Josh was able to diagnose the problem immediately - clogged/backed up drain line - and solved the problem by shooting a CO2 bullet through the line. He cleand up the mess caused by it underneath my sink where the main drain line is located professionally. He did an excellent job/service. I am very hapoy with his work. Highly recommended!

Each step of the way, from inspection and bid, to answering questions, to scheduling, to removal of the original system and ductwork, to installation Of the new system and ductwork, to repairing and drywall… Everything was done professionally, positively, on time, and on budget. There was no pressure at all at any step of the way. I would use them again if I had a different house that needed to replace the HVAC system.
I called up Magnolia because my AC was having issues cooling my home. They sent out Jesse to check the system. It was about to go out. I asked him if they install new systems and he referred me to Bobby. Bobby was able to come out the same day and gave us 3 quotes for a new system. i opted for the most efficient system and the financing was a breeze. He also dropped off a couple of portable AC units to help out until the new system could be installed. 2 weeks later the installation team came out and completed the install in a day. There was an issue with the heat pump not working and Magnolia replaced it with a brand new one the following morning. Then they sent out another tech for a quality assurance check about a week later. Mike was able to fine tune the system and it works amazing now! We’ll definitely be customers for life! I highly recommend Magnolia heating and cooling.

This was the best service I have ever experienced. Eric Smith the owner of Magnolia Heating and Cooling came out to my home after my 16 year old air conditioner needed replacement. Eric was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about his product. Eric was highly professional, honest and friendly. Eric took his time checking my system and explained things so that I could understand. Eric focused on the the aspects of his product that address my needs and specific challenges. I decided to have Magnolia replace my entire HVAC system. Mike and Raven were assigned to do the installation which went smoothly from start to finish. Mike and Raven were very professional and respectful in my home and cleaned up any mess. I would also like to thank Steve, field supervisor for his follow-up, answering all my questions and ensuring the job was completed on time as promised. Eric also has a great team working in the home office. Brenda, Lauren and Kristen provided me with excellent customer service. He explained everything before he began the service, and when he discovered a problem with my system, he took some photos and explained what the problem was and if I agreed, how he would repair. These guys are just awesome. When my A/C went out, they showed me the problem, and they talked me through the pros and cons of different solutions. They didnt TELL me I needed a whole new system, they made me UNDERSTAND I needed a whole new system. I ended up buying a whole new system, and I couldnt be happier. The install was something to behold. Hugo, Miguel, and Andrew covered every square inch of floor they would be walking on, and took great care to ensure nothing got scratched or dinged as they hauled the ancient system out of my attic. Bringing in the new system was like watching them carry a crib with a sleeping baby upstairs without waking it. I cannot emphasize enough that when these guys entered my home, there was a clear and pronounced respect for my house and property, and an overt attention to quality and detail.
We’ve been using Magnolia on a number of occasions. Initially we used them at our old house and were thrilled we were still in their service area! We have the Total Comfort Club membership with maintenance on both the heating and AC annually. What I absolutely love is that I don’t have to remember to schedule, they will text and/or call me! Paul has been our service tech and he’s awesome. He is professional, communicative, and friendly. With the pandemic, he wears a mask and keeps a comfortable distance. Oh and he always puts shoe covers on before entering the house. We trust Paul and Magnolia Hearing and Cooling and will continue to use and recommend them!
I have been a customer of Magnolia Heating and Cooling for many, many years. Magnolia Heating and Cooling is a family-owned company in Riverside, CA, and has provided excellent semiannual maintenance service for my central air and heating unit over the years. In September 2018, I switch my electricity to solar power and have not paid an electric bill since that installation. In August 2020, it was time to replace the ducts, vents, insulation, and heating and cooling units to run more efficiently with solar power and to reduce my gas bill by switching from gas to solar. (I had never replaced the ducts, vents, and insulation since the house was built in 1984, and only once installed a new but noisy air condition unit prior to this installation. Also I learned during this installation that my attic was only partially insulated by the home builders.) I met with Eric, the owner to receive a quote and more information. Everything from the initial quote appointment with Eric, the planning and design by Steve, through the installation of my new Daikin FIT HVAC system by Raven and Victor, through the quality control checks by Mike, and the numerous communications with Kristin in their office was excellent! Everyone that I have dealt with at Magnolia Heating and Cooling have been very professional and concerned that everything is in excellent working condition, and they have the desire to see customers satisfied with their products and service. I cannot believe the difference between Daikin and my old system. It is so quiet that I rarely know when it switches on, and everything is controlled through the Daikin app via my cell phone (I can set both heating and cooling temperatures once and forget about it.) They also provided an easier way to access my attic from the garage. Jesse provided the first maintenance service after the new system was installed and I also learned that they could annually flush out my tankless water heater. Paul now provides my annual maintenance service for both my HVAC and water heater. Since the installation, everything has been working great and I highly recommend Magnolia Heating and Cooling to anyone looking for an honest, high quality, and very professional business. I look forward to continued business with Magnolia Heating and Cooling personnel. It has been about 1.5 years since the installation and no problems – I love this dependability.

Magnolia AC’s technicians are knowledgeable and professional. Their regular maintenance has kept my system running perfectly for years. 2022-02-19Great experience from beginning to end. I wanted to thank magnolia heating and cooling for the repeat follow ups and I do love the quick text for reminders. I am glad I signed up for their annual check up plan. My tech today was Casey and I really appreciate him taking the time and specifying all the issues on our ac unit. I thought it was only a service call but ended up a repair for starters. He also had the parts ready. He also took the time to clean and check for other service and repair. I wanted to say thank you! 2022-02-13I highly recommend them. They are amazing. Anthony was not going to give up until he solved our problem. With this strange February heatwave we are having they found a way to get him to us the same day I called. He took the problem personally and made sure our system was fully functional before he left. He also took time to show us how to work our new thermostat. The safety precautions they take during this time of COVID-19 is reassuring. Cloth booties to cover their shoes and the absolute respect and kindness is unmatched. They are our heating and air conditioning company for good. I cannot say enough good things about them!

2022-06-16Jesse was sent to do the maintenance for one of my rentals. As a property a manger it is very important that my property owner feels they are servicing the units and making sure that the repairs will be worth their investment. Jesse did a great job explaining the issues, repairs needed and service recommendations. The owner was well informed and came to his decision on services repairs needed with out pressure and push to do more at this time. 2022-03-04I had a tankless water heater installed. John came out and gave me a very thorough description of what they would install. He also helped me solve a water pressure issue that I was having. I chose them over another company because of how helpful John was. On the installation day John and Casey showed up on time, were extremely professional and nice. They did an installation that I can only describe as a work of art. They paid a lot of attention to every detail and even made sure future maintenance was convenient. I highly recommend Magnolia Heating and Cooling and their excellent staff!

2022-02-11Casey was on time, explained all the work that he was performing in a manner that I could understand. He was wearing the necessary protective gear for COVID protocol. He cleaned the drier vent quickly the way it should be. The areas that he worked on were left clean. He went above and beyond on his service. He performed a Top Notch service! I couldn’t be more happy choosing this company for my system install and maintenance.
