Disorganized, need to restructure how they communicate internally because there is no consistent way to communicate with those involved with the property. I believe that some locations are handled more promptly which is why you see a lot of positive reviews while other properties are neglected.
Horrible Property Management. I was a resident there and they never fixed any issue unless the downstairs neighbor called and also complained about the water leaking on his bathroom too. They also increase the Rent everyear, BEWARE! They used to do 50 dollar increases but then they went up to 75. The ladies in the office never answer your calls, and their best technique to avoid you is to transfer you to Maintenance (even though the call had nothing to do with maintenance) and then ignore your calls if you called back within 2 minutes. So pathetic, they never answer the phone and if its close to their closing hour dont even bother saying that you can try back tomorrow. What unprofessional Management, they charge for everything once you move out but when youre a resident they dont even bother offering to provide a free carpet cleaning service. If looking for apartments, please be alert to stay away from LIDO. I remember clearly the day of my move out inspection, the manager herself said that LIDO Management did nothing for the RESIDENTS and she understood why they had bad reviews. I dont blame anyone of them, after receiving a ridiculous notice on how now I owe them, the Managers comment came to be true and knowledgeable. Thanks to her I decided to state nothing but the true. Lido is money hungry, they dont care about the residents, the building or units appearance. I wonder what the Building owners have to say to this.
I keep seeing negative feedbacks on this property, but i think people misunderstand that Lido managed various properties. I dont think they own it, maybe your ratings should go towards the companies that own those complexes regardless I feel Lido does what it can with whats its given.Nonetheless, I am not here to defend them. I am here to explain my experience with them as a management company. Over a year ago, I was in a tough situation to find a place to live. My partner had some issues with renting a place and my job history was not as extensive. Not only did the ladies work relentlessly to help me get approved, I got the place I wanted, never had a single issue not ONE with service. If something need repairs, they tend to it according to the urgency. Pest problems...none! Issues with the rent or overage fees? None! I was late on my rate one time, they waived it.So I really hope everyones experience is not as bad as its made out to seem. I for one cant say the same. No I am not paid by them, not I dont know them, No I am not getting a rent discount. They dont even know who I am. I am just a happy renter in the city of Tustin and Happened to have had the great luck to get help from them when I really needed it!I appreciate you!
I have been living in a Lido managed apartment for two years and believe they are the best property management company I have rented with.The units are all upgraded with the best features. The exterior of the property is always clean, safe and well maintained. If there are maintenance problems indoors or outdoors they are responded to quickly and always done professionally.They are well staffed with agents who answer calls right away and know how to resolve any issues. Complaints or problems are always handled immediately and courteouslyAfter renting with Lido, I couldnt imagine renting with a different property management company. They put a lot of effort into keeping their tenants happy and providing beautiful apartments for us to call home.
I have lived at my apartment for almost 5 years and have always had good communication with Lido personnel, they are always courteous. Service is on time and they know what they are doing. They upgraded my apartment to tile which helped tremendously because my younger son has asthma.I recommend to all my friends and family.
Have to laugh at review written by Jennifer M. Of course she raves about the place as she is the manager which she conveniently fails to mention. As far as being a manager goes she manages nothing! Does not return calls. Fails to help tenants with any issues they may have. Forgive me! There is one thing she does do and that is being rude and disrespectful to tenants. If you are even thinking about renting from Lido think again! Run as fast and far away from there as you can!
DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. It’s all positive when you move in, until it’s time to move out. Notices are always left on your door for any and every reason, they are liars, and very unethical. Onsite management on their properties are the same unethical scum as the company. I rented with them for 9 months, paid rent on time every month but they had an issue when I wanted to add someone as an occupant. The whole situation felt racially charged. Almost got evicted. So instead, I put in my notice to vacate. Then they charge me over $1,400 in damages to the apartment. They basically charged me for the remodel of the unit and claimed I caused damages beyond regular wear and tear. Not sure how that type of damage happens in 9 months? I lived in my previous apartment for 3 years and got my entire deposit back. I’m just not a “damage” kind of person. I wish I never rented from them at Crescent Run in Buena Park. They caused me a lot of unnecessary stress and loss of thousands of dollars having to move due to all of their incompetencies. I’m currently in the process of filing a lawsuit. Please avoid them at all cost because I promise, you WILL end up paying a huge cost. If you have questions on their unethical business conduct, I’ll be happy to answer.***Note: Any positive reviews on this company are highly questionable. These five star reviews are people that must be friends of the employees because the way Lido conducts business is NO WHERE near a five star standard.***
This place is horrible. I turned in 4 applications with a 140 dollar money order. Days then weeks passed by and I don’t hear anything from them. I kept contacting the manager on site and he never had a response, he claim not to know anything. He finally gave me a number and to speak to Cindy, which I never got a hold of, never called me back never responded to my email. I called my bank, They cashed out my money order right away before even reviewing my application. This place is a scam. Don’t give this place your money or even consider it. I’m reporting to the better business bureau.
Absolute nightmare to deal with. They have given me the runaround numerous times. The people who work the phones at front desk are laughably underqualified. Every time I’ve called their office, there is never a superior to talk to. Huge price gougers, you will not get deposit back and will most certainly owe more. Lastly, if you are thinking of moving into Villa Gardens in the A B or C apartments, there is a very loud nightclub that blares all night Friday and Saturday, they will not tell you this.
So far I havent had a bad experience with Lido. I have rented a home through them for 3 years now and they have done a great job of handling repairs in a timely matter and trying to coordinate the repairs with my work schedule. I would rent from them again and recommend them all of the time..
Weve moved in 3 months ago and have been asking to get hot water and the chimney fixed ever since. Over 20 calls and they still have not taken care of it. All they say is the supervisor will call you back to just never hear from them again. They managed to have 2 forced inspections to the whole building in one month but could not figure out how to schedule a repair.
After 13 days of turning in my application, paying $45 fee, calling every week (2-3 times a week) for a follwup on my application, and constantly being told IT IS STILL PENDING, I finally emailed and out of nowhere I was emailed back, and denied by Ray over a very rude and unprofessional email, with wrong information about my credit score and monthly income! Shame on you Ray!!! Only 11 days for me to find an apartment during this Coroa Virus scare!!! 1 star is TOO GOOD for you. I give you a -10. Also double check your emails and spell check before you send an email.
LIDO management company has done of poor job of repairing known issues in my apartment. They even illegally entered my apartment recently to fix an emergency in which they had a whole week to address. My wife walked into our apartment and boom, bunch of plumbers had already destroyed my living room and bathroom essentially leaving us homeless. Overall they do well fixing minor issues but really fumble during the major repairs. They have been more receptive lately to my concerns and hopefully that continues, sometimes these companies forget who they are here to serve.
DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY MONEY! I REPEAT DONT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!! I wish we would have listened to the negative reviews, I agree I think the positive ones are fake! We gave them our deposit got no house and cant get our money back! I dont have time to post all the details of this ongoing nightmare I will post more details or my Fiance will later I just wanted to post a quik review so someone else doesnt make the same mistake we did. They said we were approved for a rental house and gave them a deposit on November 9th, we were super thorough before paying the deposit if the amount they were asking for was the final amount because we have pets and we were curious about a few other things we were told nope just come back before the 1st to pay rent collect keys, see if we knew the terms we had in writing would change we would have never tried to get this house or wasted our time driving back and forth to Orange County! Once we had paid the deposit we thought we were getting that property so it caused us to miss out on other homes just focusing on moving there! 2 or 3 days after the 9th Francis from Lido called to say they needed more deposit from us, $500 for the dogs, I didnt find out if they meant each we have 2, and they wanted the dogs vet records, shots etc., and pictures of the dogs and we needed to get renters insurance! Now the renters insurance was no big deal but we asked all this up front so it was a shock that now they are changing everything. We didnt feel the house was worth all this trouble and we felt very uncomfortable with all this so we called back to ask if they could waive all the new terms or give our deposit back. 3 days after that were informed they were just going to retuarn our deposit because the owners of the property no longer would allow pets at all, I found this to be BS because all of the adds to this day list the very same original terms and say Pet Friendly but I didnt want to waste any more time or miss out on any other houses because we need to be out of our current home by December 1st so I said fine mail me a check and I will move on. We received the check Friday Nov. 18th a total of 9 days later! We have a meeting set up to pay a deposit on a home Monday Nov . 21st so we were in desperate need of our deposit back, we went into the bank Saturday morning to cash or deposit and be ready for Monday and low and behold the check was NO GOOD! They had put the wrong address and didnt sign/endorse the check! We called Lido right away and they told us theres nothing they can do till at least Monday Nov. 21st, totally unacceptable! I dont know if were gonna have to drive down there again or what but I dont trust them to mail a check again and all this time has cost us the chance at several homes! We havent been able to get anyone on the phone or to return our calls that can actually help us and we cant get this resolved in a timely fashion remember theyve had our money tied up since Nov. 9th and at this point Im notsure iIm gonna get my money back anytime soon! Im gonna lose a day of work Monday trying to sort this all out, I dont see a situation where I will have my deposit to give to the other landlord Monday evening so it looks like Im gonna lose out on another house, my lawyer wants me to come in and see her to start working to resolve this and thats gonna cost me a at least a few hundred dollars! I dont know if its incompetence or by design, a scam, by either way its made it impossible to move when I have so little time to find a home! Theres a few more things that have happened but as you can see this review is already super long, bottom line DO NOT believe the positive reviews like we did DO NOT give them your money like we did and end up in a nightmare that will cost you a lot more that the amount of the original deposit!
Let me say.... Lived in Buena Park for 5 years till now I moved...PLEASE... Beware of getting your deposit back. Leave you with nothing but $1.00 .This is BS by anything from Robbin of the owner of the Crescent Run and others builds she have... nawl I advise you not to rent anything from Lido Managment propety from her. she will keeps your money. KNOWING Im not the olny one in the same situation from others on have gotten same promble as me. it an BIG BIG BIG RIPED OFF till then RUN me my F check peroid and Im in this case with Court with Robbin.....
I interviewed a lot property management companies before hiring Lido. Matthew really knows how to take care of business and handle your property. There are a lot of flaky property management companies out there and its nice to finally hire one that takes care of your property without constant follow up.
11/11/2015I have been associated with Lido Property Management for over 12 years and have found them to be efficient and courteous to all tenants and managers-As a resident I have found their Maintenance department is highly skilled and take pride in their work-if a tenant has a problem they make sure they are not inconvenienced for long period of time-they are friendly and do their jobs well-The staff is Professional and easy to talk with -New prospective tenants are told they will see an inquiry on their credit report and Lido is one of the few Management companies that look over all information and take into consideration some circumstances that may be on the credit report -some tenants have been here for over 17 years and do not want to move and if they do they generally come back -We have a Safe Complex and with co-operation of the tenants Our Complex stays Clean-
Worst place ever. Lost my job due to covid 19 and had to move back with my parents and they asked me for documents. Provided them and they denied it and still expect me to pay for the rent and took my deposit.whoever answer the phone have an attitude problem.Stay away from this place they don’t care about people lively hood
I feel very lucky to live in this department that Lido manages, the attention they give me, because when I am offered a service, they respond immediately!The treatment they give me is really very good.The service is very efficient, any problem is solved for me, in the shortest possible time!Im very happy!
I live in a property managed by this company and I am quite satisfied with how they respond to maintenance and complaints. I send them a message and they respond. Many times I dont have time to talk during office hours but I send them the message and they call me the next day to help. Thank you very much for your attention.

2022-05-20Made my move super easy. I’ve been living here for three years the building is well-kept by maintenance. If we have any troubles maintenance is quick to respond,To any of the tenant needs. The girls at the office are super courteous and attentive always make sure that I’m well taken care of. Definitely recommend working with time.

2022-05-24Lido helped me find my apartment last month. I’m known to move around quite a bit but they helped make this transition so easy. This is the kind of company you want as they help answer any questions you might have in the process. Not only that, but everything is done electronically from signing paperwork to paying your rent. 2022-07-01One of the most unorganized and unprofessional Propety management company.Really needs to work on notifying tenants, when work in going to be done on property. Workers came by to work on the roof without notice.Really hard to get out the drive way sometime and have to wait for worker to rearrange their tools. An yes this only happen once but could have been a little more planned with just a quick notice to tenants.One of the “manager” of lido property does not care of tenants safety. Workers had cables all over the walk way. I asked him “can you maybe do something about these cables people might trip over” He responded “that’s why the railing are there for” and pointed at the railing. Then I showed him that wasn’t the only spot I was talking about and showed him and he just looked and said he doesn’t know.I kept reading comment and probably the company is good but my comment are toward the manager I dealt with. An the person that’s managing the property, It’s so simple to do. You guys have done it once, Just extend the date of the notice that’s it.But yet for the rent increase notice that definitely won’t fail to get sent out right ?

2022-05-23I love our apartment building, everything is well maintained. Communication with the staff at Lido is very professional, very responsive when anything is needed. Online portal to pay rent and request maintenance is so much easier and hassle free. It is well lit at night and that makes everyone feel safer.

2022-05-22Ive been a tenant in one of Lido Property Management Buildings for years. If there is ever a problem, they are responsive and reliable landlords. In fact, when I needed a larger place, I asked them if they had managed other buildings because a bad Property Manager can make your life miserable. I highly recommend this company. Dave in particular is the best guy there. Hes been there forever and actually follows though on his word. Thank you publicly Lido! Youre the bomb.

2022-05-25The girls at the office are really reliable and friendly and eager to help tenants when any issue does arise. Property is well kept by maintenance. Also maintenance is quick to respond to any inconvenience that does occur. I’ve been living here for several years haven’t had any issues. Definitely recommend working with them.

2022-05-21Have some friends that live at Magnolia Pointe (which is managed by Lido) and it is by far one of the best apartment complexes Ive ever seen. Its always so clean and management is always very nice about having us visit. All in all just seems like a great place to live with great management.

2022-05-24I recently moved into an apartment complex managed by Lido. The office staff is amazing. The move-in process was smooth. Rental application, Lease agreement and payments are done online which makes it quick and easy. Highly recommend renting with Lido.

2022-05-20Great customer service! The lady I spoke with was very helpful in answering questions as well as helping us find am apt. Once we met with the gentleman Lionel (who was very nice), we were able to fill out our applications. The transition was pretty smooth. Highly recommend 🙂

2022-05-26I’ve been a tenant at one of LIDO’s properties for almost 10 years. They are always quick to address maintenance issues and/or tenant concerns. The property is well maintained and always clean. I highly recommend choosing any property that LIDO is managing.
