I’ve experienced pressure from other lenders with undesirable offers, with Lendplus we had a great refinance experience. Paul Neuland was very helpful with everything we needed and gave us great options. I’ve already recommended him to my friends and would definitely work with him in the future.
Paul Neuland was hands down the best lender I have ever worked with. He took time and explained everything to me in simple terms that anyone could understand. Lend Plus has been the best mortgage refi experience we have ever had and we have had a lot of refis over the past 3 years. They are quick, communicative and worked in our best interest. They also use a great title company, Western Resources Title that was on top of everything. We even got our investment property approved without an appraisal. Lonnie Pearlman and his team were outstanding. I would recommend these guys over some of the big players like Amerisave and Quicken any day. We were done with both properties start to finish in 30 days.
Lend Plus is great to work with specifically working with Israel Chavez. We received news of being funded today with our new refinance rate! Israel was very honest and told me what to expect and when to expect it. They didnt make any empty promises and told me how long the process would take. I never had to haggle them as they would keep me posted with any updates periodically. Someone who can be anxious at times, if I did have a question or if there was a concern, I received an immediate reply from him. I would highly recommend them! Thanks Israel!
We searched for the best rate and low fee from various lenders and found Lend Plus got a competitive rate for our mortgage refinancing. We feel very fortunate to have worked with David (Dat) Truong. He always replied to our questions/concerns timely, sometimes late at night. He was knowledgeable & explained everything in details. He was able to coordinate the loan process very smoothly. The worse experience i have ever had. First they gave me a quote that at the end of the day couldnt deliver on. after 60 days they still couldnt close and wanted me to pay extra to keep the rate they had locked me at because by now the rates had gone up. Then because their staff and underwriter was taking its sweet time to get back to me they blamed it on me. My home insurance almost got cancelled because during the process they changed the name to their company but since we didnt close they didnt have the courtesy to change it back to my original lender. During the process I even referred them to my brother and they never answered his calls or bothered to call him back. He started his refinance with someone else and finished right away. I was glad they didnt answer him otherwise he wouldnt of closed either. Save yourself the hassle. this company is a waste of time.

I worked with Brian Kamody between December 2020 and February 2021 to refinance my home and he was an absolute joy to work with. Very meticulous with his work and was on top of everything. There were delays and hiccups during the process as everyone was extremely busy with the low interest rates. He made sure mine was locked in through the entire process and would explain anything in detail if I ever had a question. Would definitely go through him for a loan again!

They have great rates but if there are any issues dont expect a straight answer or ANY answer at all. It took 8 MONTHS to do my refinance. And I stuck that long because every month they would tell me that we are almost there. Then for almost a month CORDIE stop talking to me, no replies to my texts, emails or answering the phone, I had to call from a different phone for her to answer (that is just crazy). They blamed it on the Loan Processor which had quit (I had 3 Loan Processors) and from that point I mostly communicated with the Loan Processors (the second one straight told me before leaving that Lendplus is a mess) . When we finally were about to close then Cordie started to talk to me again like we were best friends and was very pushy for me to do things I needed to do (she wanted to be done within hours during my work hours). WORST experience ever. By the way, the issues were not because of bad credit or any issues of not enough income, etc. (I am not rich but fortunate to be in a very stable financial situation). I just refinanced another property with Ally (I recommend them) in less than a month.

Our experience with Lend Plus and its lending agent, Paul Neuland, was outstanding from start to finish. Lend Plus is amazing! So fortunate to have Israel Chavez and Jasmin Acosta behind me. They helped us get a great rate for our home loan and everything else went very smooth from there, so smooth that it was a quick 3 weeks, before we knew it, we were already signing the loan docs! Israel is up front about everything and answered all of our questions and concerns. He made sure we got the best rate and the best service. Ive dealt with some others on bankrate and they were responsive initially and then would no longer respond after I ask specific questions. Israel is very detailed oriented and very personable. Hes also very honest and truthful about everying, something you dont get from all of those money hungry lenders who come across extremely rude, like the recent lenders who have been advertising crazy rates on TV and Billboards. Hello all,Just wanted to share our review of our Lendplus loan. First off, we worked with Laurie M who is awesome!! Other loan companies never really felt trust worthy and were always in a rush with out explaining all details of potential loans thoroughly. Laurie was the exact opposite, she explained things well through out the loan process and we are very happy to have worked with her. Although the loan took 2-3 months to complete due to COVID-19 guide lines that was no fault of Laurie. We now have a new loan with a great interest rate that I don’t see getting any better than what we have now. Laurie again, your awesome and keep up the great work!!!! 5 stars!!!!

I did a cash-out refi through LendPlus. The entire process took a shade over 2 weeks and I received a great rate and pricing. My husband primarily interfaced with Lend Plus and its lending agent Paul. He always had good things to say after interacting with Paul and he spoke extremely highly of Lend Plus. I heard them over the bluetooth in the car I immediately understood why he liked working with them as they were broing out together over the phone. All I really know about the process is that we got a great rate on our refinance that is saving us almost $700 a month. We were able to lock in a much lower rate than we had on the previous loan.

LendPlus and David Truong, Mortgage Banker, provided excellent and very competitive services for me with my mortgage refinancing. In my search for the refinancing, I found the proposed rate to be the most attractive available. The application website was easy to use. The information requested by LendPlus was appropriate. I was able to do my business with them 100% through the website. David was always very responsive and capable.

This is my 2nd time refinancing with Kevin Cano. Excellent customer service, and very transparent. The first time I refinanced in December 2019, and at that time, I was comparing 4 lenders. I decided to go with Kevin because he was very responsive and answered all my questions promptly. I could call or text him as late as 10 pm, and he would reply to me. I just closed my refi with him again a few days ago, and this time I didnt bother shopping around and went straight to Kevin cause I could trust him with the best rate and quick and easy process. When interest rates dipped I started reaching out to a couple of lenders to refinance our existing home loan. After speaking to several lenders that included a well-known company we see on tv, rhymes with “docket” I got tired of listening to same sales pitch. I was about to end my search when I decided to give this lender a try. Azin Gerayeli began contact with me as soon as she received my inquiry. After discussing my goal for refinance, she was open and honest about fees and when she saw an opportunity to lock in a rate, she was ready to go. I experienced a couple of snafus on the processing side due to Covid however I could always count on Azin to communicate my concerns and always came through. I will refer her and Lendplus to anyone looking for exceptional service.
Waste of time and effort. Save your time and work with a reputable company. I Locked a 30-day rate in May and now 65 days later there is no end in site. No one even contacted me after the locked expired, so still no clue if the rate would still be honored. I have great credit and gave them everything they asked for with in 24 hours. They will use Covid 19 as an excuse, but the fact is they are requesting documents 60 days into the process that my new lender requested within a week.I pull the plug on this useless company and moved to a new lender that values me as a customer. Additionally, my new lender locked me in at a lower rate too!

Laurie Marquez offered EXCEPTIONAL customer service. I initially walked away from Lend Plus because I was given a better offer, but she won me back and was able to warn me of hidden fees of the other lenders offer. She won me back by her courteous way of handling the situation, and by being honest, available (she always answered or called me back right away to answer questions). She was extremely patient with me. The lending process was in the middle of a very hectic, stage of my life, and she handled my impatience with kindness and care. My refi funded on 3/13/20, and Lend Plus made it smooth and easy. In particular, a big shout out to Azin Gerayeli, who was ALWAYS available, ALWAYS responded promptly, and did exactly what she said she would do. Everything except final signing was handled via email and text message, and the Lend Plus document uploading system was effortless. Loan processor Edgar Ortega was also super responsive, so there were no delays - the whole process took about a month. Kudos to all, highly recommended.

I could not be more disappointed in my experience with LoanPlus. The entire refinance took almost 7 months for a variety of factors, many of which were due to LoanPlus and others that were not. Ironically part of the problem is that the personnel at LoanPlus are quite cordial and seem to want to help. The problem is that having these qualities you can be lulled into the fact that they literally have no clue what they are doing and miss far more commitments that they make to you than they make. I cant count the number of times it seemed like we were done only to learn of some new Fannie Mae requirement they came across that setus back a week or more. I submitted well over 50 documents and escalated my concerns to executive management, yet the process only seemed to slow down. I would definitely select another lender for your mortgage and financing needs.
We have been wanting to refinance our home for sometime and Neal Engler was referred to us by our accountant. Our situation was a bit different then most people. They guided me with clear and precise instructions so I can prepare and upload all pertinent documents required for refi purposes via Land Pluss secured web site to expedite the application processes. Let me start off by saying that this was the worst experience I have ever had. I will be honest with you, I got caught up in the mortgage meltdown of 2008-2009. We had some rental properties that went downhill due to bad renters up in the high desert. We drained our 401ks in order to try to save these houses and not loose our primary home. We ended up loosing all but one of our rentals, and that has hurt us for a long time. We lost the last one in 2014. So this brings us to Lend Plus. I started dealing with Fernando Aristiz when he was at his last company G1 Credit Union. He told me there that he had a program that was able to do a refi as long as the last foreclosure was over three years ago. Great. I was not quite ready to proceed at that time. When I contacted him to let him know that I was ready to move forward, he let me know that he went to work for Lend Plus. He said he could help us and we proceeded with the process. The 2014 issue was disclosed in the application, which he acknowledged that it was there. I told him that if this was going to be an issue that I did not want to proceed. He told me It should not be a problem. I said ok lets move forward. Everything seemed to be moving along. I was contacted by Elaine Juezan who is in underwriting. She asked for more documents that were needed which I got to her right away. We had an expected close date of 5/18 and like I said, things were progressing. There was an issue with getting the insurance right, and that was finally corrected after a week. Then I was told they needed to charge me $231.00 for a third party review of our mortgage, so I gave them our credit card which was charged. 5/18 came and went, and communication from Elaine stopped. I had texted per her request, emailed and even called. No response. I finally had to call Fernando, and he eventually got back to me to tell me that You have a foreclosure in 2014 I said I know that and so did you. He said Yes it was even disclosed in the application. Anyways after a few minutes of arguing that was getting nowhere, I ended the call. This was Thursday evening. On Tuesday, I get a text, not a call, saying that they would not be able to do a loan for us. Communication has been horrible throughout this whole process.So here is my problem. Not only were they not able to do a loan for us, which was disappointing, but not unexpected, but they did things in a way that really screwed things up for us. Their process is so very backwards. There is a check where they look at previous addresses, and that brings up some sort of background check. This was done last, not first. During this background check, the issue from 2014 appeared. That made them look further, and they are using something that happened close to ten years ago against us. I knew the 2014 foreclosure was going to be an issue, but was assured by Fernando that It should not be a problem. This background check should be the first check, not the last. Not only are we out $231.00 for whatever this third party check was, but now I have to fix the insurance. We now have an inquiry on our credit as well. I have a credit score of 829. We have worked hard to put this behind us. We owed $495,000 on our home that we are trying to refinance as of January 2017. We have paid down the mortgage to $285,000 in three years. We have been paying down the mortgages on our other two properties at a faster rate as well. We are not bad people, but were caught up in bad situation set up by predatory lending. These things should be considered when giving a mortgage. So watch out for this company. As far as I am concerned, Fernando is just a salesman. He sells financial products. He might as well go sell used cars since he just tells you what you want to hear in order to close a deal.I am re-posting this as they had me take it down. They said that they would do it as an FHA and now they still denied it going against FHA Guidelines.
Neal was very honest and helpful in getting me through my first refinance. He worked really hard at getting me the best rate possible. I would recommend my family and friends to Neal and his LendPlus team.
I started my refi back in March 2020 with David Truong. Other than the prompt initial engagement, the process has been extremely slow, I paid for the appraisal fee back in April, ever since it is extremely slow and tedious with multiple errors and repeats by the person ended up helping me, Carolyn Young. Because of the delays, I had to repeat many steps, including sending my paystubs 3 times!The refi is still not complete and Lendplus is no longer responding to my inquiries! Cannot believe how bad this lender is! I lost out on all the potential savings from the historical low rates, appraisal fees, and time and effort!!
I found LendPlus by searching online for refi rates. After applying online I heard from Cordie Bogard. She was very responsive and helpful. Cordie and her team were super professional. I was kept informed of what was happening at all times, great communications. The online documentation process was also very convenient. I was referred to David Truong so I called him to start working on a refinance. Each dealing with him went from bad to worse. The rate I was quoted kept changing to a higher rate “because my credit score dropped” since they ran my credit twice in two days, with David hoping I didn’t notice. He then quit answering calls. Now, I can’t get in touch with anyone at this business to do anything about the negative impact on my credit history. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!
I have to say that Lend Plus was a great help to me. I started out looking at a Refi in Sept. 2019 and as rates began to climb over the next months I began searching in Nov. 2019 for a good rate. After talking to 3 different lenders and the last one (from Lending Tree) I had my inspecting done but I continued to call around about rates. I found Lend Plus online and spoke to Chris Veloz. He beat the current lender I was working with by -0.25% percent for the same loan and I was buying 3 pts. to bring it down more. I decided to jump ship and go with Lend Plus. In the middle of the last market % drop (as I have been following the market) I followed up with Chris about the Refi % to see if I could get a better deal (we hadnt closed yet). For a extra $64 I got a full .25% reduction in my refi (on top of what I was buying down) and closed at 2.75% for a Refi Cash out @ 75% LTV. During the process Chris was very upfront about costs and what would be the best deal for me concerning the amount I wanted to cash and % associated with it. Straight forward and to the point. The closing process was easy and Im glad I switched lenders. My advice for those of you that are getting a refi of any kind is to communicate regularly with your lender, watch the market daily during the process and call your lender to see if rates drop enough, and shop around! Lend Plus took good care of me!!! Check them out...

If I could give 0 stars I would. Had the unfortunate pleasure of trying to work with Jim Panthaki. He is either overwhelmed with customers and cant fulfill his promises or he deliberately lies and misleads his customers. When he was unable to lock in a rate and the cost went up his response was its only a couple hundred dollars Easy to say when its not your money. Got a better rate with lower closing costs from another company. Good luck out there.

We are very picky and she demonstrated extreme patience until we got exactly what we wanted, one of the lowest rates and cost to refinance. Refi LendPlus, Diane Kim & Paul Neuland survey reviewI had the need to Refi/cashout of my home to pay for huge amount of medical bills from a bad 2018 year. I also needed to use the cash out for repairs in home. Because of the medical bills/credit issues, I really didn’t believe I could get help elsewhere. In fact several other Brokerages & such Firms would seek my business yet after review, they turned me down.But in came Senior Broker, Diane Kim with LendPlus & Diane did everything possible to help me get this new loan. It was extraordinary how much Diane & subsequently her coworker, Funding Manager, Paul Neuland. And also, they were out-of-state and yet I didn’t matter one bit!At first there was a lot of “hand-holding” on Diane’s part, as I had extreme anxiety every time there seemed to be an issue or problem, but Diane (& subsequently Paul) attacked every concern & eradicated the problem! Again...it was extraordinary what all these 2 did to get my loan secured!!! These 2 also fought for me with their internal Superiors & such and they each spent a considerable amount of hours also talking it through with me-explaining & hearing me out. I suspect many times it was well past their shift & possibly on their own time that they talked me through everything. I closed the loan recently, it took too long to go through. First loan officer Fernando was good, but once i decided to go with this loan, experience was not so great with other officer working on it. Communication was unclear, and very ad-hoc, they were too busy to discuss or explain anything. I had closed the loan for about a month, and had to repeatedly request loan officer to provide me installment details. Thank god it is done.
I was very pleased with the service I received from David Truong. He supported me and encouraged me throughout the complete re-financing process. It can be very stressful. Also his Manager Paul was a huge help with a hiccup in the home appraisal. This required a rebuttal and adjusted appraisal amount. Between them they were able to get me my complete funding. I would like to share mine and my husbands experience with this specific individual at Lend Plus named Paul Neuland! My husband and I began our home purchase a little over a year ago and met him through our realtor. I cannot begin to explain how amazing Paul was throughout this whole process, literally from start to finish he was there to answer every single call, every single question we had. He was very thorough and made sure we understood this process of purchasing a home before we got into signing anything. When i first got in contact with Paul our credit was poor, he then sent us to another company to help us get it fixed. Throughout the whole 6 months dealing with fixing our credit with the other company he was still keeping contact with us. He gave us so much advice and he always rooted for us even when we felt like giving up and told us this was all going to be worth it one day! We loved his positivity and great personality. He is a very honest person, so professional in every way! After about 3 weeks in we found a home we loved and put in our offer immediately. After our offer was accepted we started 30 day escrow the next day. Paul did everything in his will and worked so hard with his team at Lend Plus to get escrow closed sooner than we expected and it happened!!!!!! Escrow was closed at 21 days, a whole 9 days early 😱 I would also like to add how special this process meant to us that Paul drove 2 HOURS just to meet us in person, to see the home we were purchasing and to be present at our escrow signing! Something he DIDNT HAVE TO do but that gesture showed my husband myself and our family how much this meant to him as much as it meant to us! Who else has had an amazing lender show up for their signing ?!?!?!? Yea didn’t think so! He went above and beyond !!!!!! Finally today, after the stress after so much signing we received the keys to our home🏡❤️ And we seriously could not have done this without Paul guiding us the whole way. Did all the work for the loan the day we where going to sign escrow and close they said something changed in the way the government does loans. but they where just trying to over charge for points and the government wouldnt let them so the loan fell through. After all the work and waiting. And I had to keep calling and emailing to find out what was going on.

In February of last year, I made a decision to purchase the home that I was currently renting. I live with my partner and her two daughters. I was offered the house below market and we would conduct the transaction under a FSBO agreement. Seemed relatively simple and straightforward. I made contact with my primary private client banker at JP Morgan Chase and was immed approved in writing for a mortgage. Locked in on a 10 year ARM at 3.625%. Heck of a deal. Contract was written and hence I begun what was a 11 month process to seek approval for a loan to purchase this house. Due to the nature of my business I was subsequently denied the loan by not only JP Morgan and US Bank (my other PC banking relationship) but 6 more times due to the fact that I was too high profile in my industry. Alas I was introduced to Ty several months ago and from this point forward I cannot tell you how pleased I was to have met him. Candidly I was kind of snake bit with respect to the whole process and I was inclined to simply walk away from the house all together and go rent somewhere else. Ty from Day One was the voice of reason. He was counselor, therapist, confidant, life coach and strategist. In my 28 years of buying homes, I have NEVER EVER come across an individual who truly cared about his client (me) and gave off such a level of confidence that all would end well. Candidly I have been in sales for over 30 years, and I have never come across an individual who provided above and beyond superior customer service. He owned this deal from the beginning and even when I was prepared to give up, he dragged me back to the table and assured me all would be well. Christmas evening, Christmas Day, 24 hours a day, everyday he was there for me (and my family). He never quit. He worked every angle. Heck he even talked the seller into giving my credits as closing after they threatened to evict me since they were tired of my false promises. He man is literally Yoda, Jedi Mind Master.

We decided to use Kevin Cano after searching rates around the Internet. Kevin was the only person to explain fully what to expect, and emailed us what he had on our screen in real time so he could describe to us every detail. There were no hidden fees, hidden cost, secrets, or such tangles in the process with Kevin. Any issue that arose, Kevin went above and beyond to remedy in a very timely manner. Out of our previous home refi or purchase history, this is the only time I have given a 5 star rating, the process with Kevin was that simple. Couldn’t recommend him or LendPlus any more.

I was told it would be a 30 to 45 day close, 90 days later, no close. Only to be told that it would be another 30 days, incompetence at its finest. Trust me when I tell you, run away from this lender. I have an 800 credit score with the work history to back it, so my finances were not an issue, incompetence was the issue.
I recently went through the process of refinancing my home mortgage. To begin with, I reached out to a half dozen different companies and spoke with their representatives, many of whom pushed for me to work with them. Then I met Jim Panthaki from LendPlus over the phone. Jim was the first person to, upfront, give me actual numbers that seemed real and complete as to what I would expect to pay for my refi. Not only were his estimates considerably lower than what others were throwing out, Jim listened to my concerns and answered my questions, as opposed to giving me a pat spiel. He was shifty and manipulative from the beginning. He mentioned one price on Craigslist, another over the phone, yet another in person, and then the paperwork had a totally different quote! Not an honest word comes out of his mouth. He also has a nasty tendency to misplace anything in writing! He lied to us about prices, commissions, and never kept any paperwork. He also acted totally smug and satisfied that he got away with the theft. He never even tried to defend his actions! Hes a liar and a thief. Stay away at all costs.

2022-06-21Brian Kamody was so nice I worked with him twice! After getting burned by poor customer service by a big national lender I got recommended to Brian Kamody at LendPlus by a family member. We did a refinance a few years ago and a purchase this month. Brian is honest, straightforward, extremely knowledgeable, and thorough in making sure the deal gets done on time. Can’t beat those rates and lender credits either. Highly recommend for superior customer service.
