The rooms were affordable and clean but...1. The TV in the main bedroom was very old and had picture issues, also the channels were inconsistent.2. The fan didnt work in the bathroom.3. The mattress was like sleeping on a cinder block.4. The hotel services wouldnt give you more than 3 towels at a time even if more people were staying in the room.
If you drive a vehicle think twice before you stay here. Booked this place because it stated parking included. What they didn’t mention is that there aren’t enough spaces for everyone staying there. So I had to park my car across the street in a random neighborhood. When I told the front office why we weren’t warned about the first come first serve basis of parking, the man in the front lobby told me he would be more than happy to let me check out so I could go elsewhere. Toss in the fact that the parking lot is a dead end because a gate is broken and the inconveniences continue.Unfriendly(rude) staff, misleading information…. Just be cautious. Knowing what I know now, I wish I’d spent a little bit more where I know staff isn’t hostile and my car is safe.
This hotel sucked …No iron had to ask the front desk the guy said they would bring it up to my room never did next morning ran into a maid and asked her for one and she gave it to me ..Now I have a iron no ironing board so I ironed on the floor 😒.2 rooms one controller for the ac ridiculous! And annoying ! The blow dryer was broken as I blow dryed my hair it sparkled very dangerous !And the fan for the bathroom broken so was musty as I showered …The manager constantly keeps an eye and stares at the cameras all day very uncomfortable! Never will I stay here again so cheaply made and not ran well.
The photos didn’t match. The place was okay to start, but going to the room was a different story. We could hear disturbing noises through the thin walls. Rooms are a bit too close for comfort to where it basically feels like you are sharing a room with your neighbor.First impression walking in the room was it smelled like cigarette smoke. We left no longer than 20 minutes after entering the room.Needless to say, we likely won’t be returning.
Not the greatest for the money they are asking for its very loud you can hear people in and out all night long, or when they walk in the stairs up and down or people taking a shower. And the receptionist are not friendly at all, but the cleaning crew were very nice and very friendly. The rooms need to improve the wall color to make them brighter so theyre not so depressing if we had a choice we would never stay there but unfortunately we couldnt find any other hotel available theyre all sold out
The hotel stay was pleasant and I got a 2 bedroom suite in didnt even realize when I ordered with Hotels.com. A gate for parking which you dont see often and they take a deposit which was not disclosed until check in. Couple towels were stained before use as well as some bedding, only reason i gave a 4. Our shower had installed shower gel, shampoo and consitioner in pump bottles, water ran hot with no issues.
For around $100 per night it did the job of having a bed for the night. The room was rather small; good enough for 2 adults but nothing extra by any means as you can see by the photos I provided. Plus the walls were thin so you could here other people in thw next rooms. The big let down....when I arrived around midnight the guard toward me there was no more parking and that I had to park on the busy street. I was told that because parking is free, its first come first serve. I wasnt comfortable parking on this busy street at night let alone if I had kids with me that would be frustrating to have to lug my bags and family members on a small hike on the streets at night....not cool.
Stayed here years ago and it was really nice!. booked my room this time around thinking that it was going to be a good experience again but! i was wrong the minute i walked into the room it was bad didnt even let my family finished getting out the car before i said get back on let find a new place. The whole ambient was off felt like i was in the neighborhood i grew up in BAD! it now looks like people live in the rooms paint their cars, store their vehicles and let people live in the parking lot! but i gotta say management was pretty good about getting me my money back.
I would give negative star rating if possible.During our stay, there was construction going on. Imagine getting woken up at 07:00 am with people driving PIT equipment and power tools. In addition to that, picture a parking lot availability of 20 vehicles with a demand for 60+. People were parking on all the possible empty locations that they can find. The whole experience was just horrible. When I informed the front desk personnel, they didn’t do anything about it and just brushed it off. Room wise, we got a door that takes multiple tries to close before the latch actually engages and there was no secondary door latching mechanism from inside. It also smelled like smoke. Bathrooms were dirty and even had “skid-marks” in the toilet. They didn’t have a phone in the room either so we notified them by walking up to the front desk but nothing was done with these complaints and escalations.Take your money elsewhere and actually get a good rest.
The lady who was working the counter the night 11/23/2021 was so awesome . I was having issues with my credit card and I didnt know what to do. The lady knew exactly yo handle the situation and I was quickly checked in . My room was spotless . I had parking right in front of my room and the property was gated with easy access in and out with my room key 5 stars for sure
I lived up the street from this hotel for 4 years but I first stayed here in November 2020 after moving out of neighborhood. I was surprised when I checked in it wasnt at all what my impression was for years. Its a very nice hotel and the staff are always curious. I now stay here a few times a month. The prices are a great value and is cheaper then motel 6 and 10s better. The suites are nice and spacious and the regular rooms are big. I recommend trying this hotel.parking can be difficult if you leave after midnight. It has baroque pits in the courtyard, its clean and has its own vibe.
Kind and helpful front desk. Especially Mark And Charles also nice housekeepers. I brought my wife and 3 children, we ran into a small issue at the pool but Mark the assistant supervisor stepped up big time and we really enjoyed our stay here. Would definitely recommend.
BE AWARE PLEASE :We went to spend our vacation at this hotel( the hotel was not a hotel was a motel ) LEMON TREE . Anahiem, CaliforniaWAS terrible , filthy , no privacy , no rules . Smelly( people are smoking weed all over that place ) , stains over the chair .Air conditioning was not working . Kids from other rooms were running from room to another , their doors were open and screaming at each other , laughing loudly at 12 AM .Plus very scary neighborhood.BE CAREFUL PEOPLE The pictures were very deceiving!!!we didn’t stay , we checked in and we just checked out immediately we didn’t stay . We lost our money because we booked through a website bundle .I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FOR ANYONE.
Rented the spa room was really nice and up to date. Pretty cool led lights in the room. Not enough towels for a spa room. Worst part was the front desk lady. So she ask how many guest are staying in the room I say 2 then she ask me if it’s a boy or girl (Like how does that matter) and to write the name down of the person staying. That was one of the weirdest and worst experience in a hotel I’ve ever came across and wouldn’t recommend nor come back due to how uncomfortable the front desk lady is.
Honestly I do not know if it was just the room we got or idk but it was not a good experience all. The bathroom got clogged within 10 mins of our arrival. We saw a couple baby roaches. The carpet literally felt sticky dirty. The bed had some light yellow stains. It was just not good at all for $150 I paid for the night. The only reason I gave two stars was because the front desk let me cancel my two day reservation with no issues.
The place has gone downhill since we visited 8 yrs ago. The staff tried. They made the repairs to the room (broken phone, broken door chain, and missing tub stop) within one day of reporting the problem so kudos to them. Im sure COVID plays a part in preventing clean carpets and walls. Hopefully the recent high occupancy will allow the owners to reinvest some money into more maintenance and repairs so guests can feel their rooms are cleaner.
The room is NOT cleaned well at all. The shampoos had rust on the bottom and all had hairs on it. the shampoo had chunks in it. The towels had hairs on it, the floor, the walls, and even on the ceiling Idek how.the fridge was also dirty I don’t recommend I’d rather go to the lulu hotel. DO NOT I REPEAT.. DO NOT COME TO THOS HOTEL I FOUND ROACHES IN HERE🤢
The people who work here are great. But the bathrooms need upgrading. Little things - like the water should not be spewing out the lower faucet during a shower, and the soap dispensers shouldnt be rusty and missing knobs. The remote controls should change the volume. That said, the jacuzzi was awesome.
After checking in early, going to Disneyland and coming back at 11 at night, 3 cop cars were in the front of the hotel and were searching for someone on the property. After that went to the front desk and was told it was just a “normal thing they do, it’s just a welfare check”. Went back to the room knowing they were lying but whatever. Ordered food from doordash so went out front to wait and a fire truck, ambulance and cop cars showed up for someone who had overdosed in one of the rooms in the hotel. Went to get a refund due to not feeling safe in the hotel and they basically told us that we would have to call and handle it ourselves through the booking agency we used. Called that booking agency and waited 30 mins for her to basically waste our time and the manager of lemon tree didn’t even get in contact with the lady from the booking agency after he was the one who told us to and that he would approve of the (partial) refund. Worst ending to a great trip.
During my stay there the staff was more than helpful. The room was also more than what I expected. Over all it was relaxing and did I mention that they are pet friendly? Well they are. I could not believe my eyes when I saw the ice cream vending machine in the lobby 🍦🍨😱 brain freeze. Anyway enjoy your stay there 😁
Outside 7.5 its not the prettiest but it is good no trash of broken glass sidewalks are tap clean there is an ice machine in snack bars and soda the rooms are good they were very comfortable no musty or moldy odors air condition heater heating system work very well good refrigerator with ice box inside the bed was comfortable might want to get fluff your pillows Oh I thought Id give it a 8.25
The property needs to have dedicated parking spots for EVERYONE that stays there. I must admit i was quite perturbed when i couldnt find a spot to park even though there was still vacancy. On top of that, the security was knocking at my door and rudely telling me to move my car multiple times. Quite frankly i wont be choosing this hotel in the future.
The spa tub in the King Suite is amazing! Everything else, not so much. The shower didnt work, there were cigarette burns in the curtains and the bed sheets. There was also a brown stain on the bed under the fitted sheet we did not notice until the next morning. The hotel itself was not great, but the Spa Tub made the trip worth it.
Just don’t do it. The place is dirty, the sheets/blankets have cigarette burns, and none of the towels smell clean. It was embarrassing having my extended family stay here for our trip. Parking lot and back area is sketch, police did a round in the parking lot as we were leaving.
Not bad. We even received a discount for calling the Hotel directly and not going through a 3rd party app. The room was clean, sheets were soft and fresh. Shower had plenty of hot water. The provided shower gel shampoo and conditioner smelled good. Next time we hope to enjoy their pool. Exactly what we needed.
Very nice, clean room and great staff, both the gentlemen at the reception counter and the security guard. They attended to our needs and went above and beyond their duty to make sure we have a great experience. So thanks to both gentlemen and kudos to the hotel for having great staff.
My husband and I had a nice time there last night. My daughter babysat Erik, our 12 yr old who has autism, so that we can go out and unstress ourselves. Front desk staff was very pleasant and welcoming. The room they gave us was very nice. We had a nice view from our balcony that overlooked the pool. Overall our stay was wonderful and what we paid for a weekend night was such a deal. I definitely will be coming back.
IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN DO NOT STAY HERE. This hotel was advertised to me as a good stay near Disneyland, but this place is not a good stay at all. This hotel was dirty, people doing drugs right outside your room, and to be honest did not feel safe at all. I didnt even feel comfortable leaving the premises because I was concerned for my belongings in the room. This hotel looks cute and clean in the pictures but they definitely catfish all their guests. Upon arrival this place looked very sketchy, when I first got to my room the sheets were all stained and the room was not as clean as id like it to be. I requested new sheets at the front desk right away because i needed to take a nap before i ventured out into the city. It took them 2 hours and several calls to the front desk to bring me new sheets. There was no parking. And the wifi network was not working on any of my devices or even their tv. As you can imagine I was very disappointed with the service and place overall, i asked if there was anyway i could get a refund as i was willing to find a new hotel immediately since i couldnt even sleep in the bed due to the dirty sheets but i was denied. I will never stay here again and i do not recommend anyone staying here either.
We booked a non-smoking room but the room had a very strong smoke odor, we were moved to a different room but it also smelled. The new room had ripped and stained sheets but they ended up changing them for us. The hotel was not very clean, the carpet leading to the rooms was filthy. The only good thing I can say is that they hired an excellent photographer, we will definitely not stay here again.Another reason for the low rating is they say they have a free breakfast but when you get to the hotel there is a sign saying they stopped the free breakfast months ago.
Terrible!!!!! Don’t stay here! Room is very old beds are squeaking comforters a are stained and old we felt itchy all night! There is house across from hotel which was having a party all night until 2 am or more and annoying women were yelling there lungs out and loud music all night and nothing was done our children couldn’t sleep and our non smoking room smelled 100% like smoke it was terrible
The first room I had had hair and black marks all over the sheets. There was what appeared to be food crumbs on the floor under the window. The second room was fine until I went to use the microwave which had trash left in it from the people before me. The bathtub wont fill with water as the plug for the drain is broken. I Wouldnt Recommend Staying Here!
The pictures are not exactly correct,The area was dirty, stayed 3 nights and no one came once to clean the room or bring towels, I finally went downstairs to ask for more towels, and toilet paper, my daughter was so excited to use the pool witch they close at 9 and we made it to 8:04 thinking well we can have a dip and go, the guy downstairs said No because its almost 9 ... every day I had to go to front desk because they kept deactivating my card so my family waited outside while they confirmed it was me and my room number to reactivate it and re-open room, no breakfast, no cleaning, dirty,
Please do not stay at this hotel. Dirty, bed bugs, unsafe neighborhood, and horrible service. Left an hour after getting there after a long day at disneyland. Cant even get my money back after them telling us multiple times we could get a 50% refund. I’m extremely upset and frustrated with this hotel. Please save yourself from spending your money and time on this place.
We come here for one reason. They have jacuzzi rooms. Actual jacuzzis not a whirl pool. The place looks like it occupies a lot of shady characters, so I would recommend parking your car as close to your room as possible. Furnitures outdated and curtains, rooms need updating and a good deep cleaning. Maintained better anyway. However all of that is worth the price for the jacuzzi. Bathrooms are very nice, tile and fixtures are nice.. just have to over look the blanket and curtains and neighbors. You have to go to the office to get ice, they have a laundry room on site for guests. I have not looked at the amenities outside of the room aside from what I mentioned.
If you like the Meth crowd and the smell of cigarettes and marijuana this hotel is the place for you!!! I was very disappointed with this hotel especially since it was almost 400 dollars for 3 days. Whoever took the pics on their site did a great job because that is not what you are signing up for when you book your room here. Even the curtains were stained!! The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles all had mold on them. My family and I were so excited to spend a weekend here until we arrived and were greeted by a group of men who clearly were on Meth who were standing there and let their dog scratch up the side of my vehicle. Lets just say we will not be staying here again.
This is a very well run hotel, with kind, helpful employees and most importantly the hotel is CLEAN! The rooms are updated with comfy beds (believe me, NO bedbugs, I checked!) Theres ample closet and drawer space and the bathroom was fine, had a bathtub my Granddaughter enjoyed. Its a bit small but was immaculate. We stayed several nights while visiting Knotts Berry Farm and never had one complaint. Its a quiet area (besides traffic noise from the main street) and the pool area is smallish but in nice shape. Theres even a special seat to lower the handicapped into the pool. They thought of everything! The price for our whole visit wouldnt even pay 2 nights at a closer hotel, and the drive is so easy we were glad we chose Lemon Tree. We will definitely be back whenever visiting So Cal attractions.
In all honesty this hotel is probably a 3-star hotel at best however I do like this hotel. They have descent Jacuzzi rooms and they also have a few nice family suites. The staff is okay depending on Whose shift it is but overall this hotel is okay. But as far as taking your family there being a parent myself I would say this is not the kind of hotel you want to have small children at.
Loved our stay. The pool is extremely clean and pretty big, so it was a great stay for the kids. Minor things didnt work correctly and the towels are pint size.... Also, skipped the skimpy continental breakfast. But overall, the price was right, the bed was amazingly soft and the hotel itself is centrally located to major shops and Disney. The staff is also very great! Would stay again and definitely recommend.
Very unsanitary. You get what you pay for. Lesson learned. Very dirty, stained and ripped bedsheets. Very loud, hard to sleep, can hear everything. Hard to find parking. Dented walls. Dirty floors. Pictures are as the room until you are in and see that it’s just for display. Used toilet paper and toiletries. Tub filled up quickly from shower, did not take a bath in there. Something wrong with drain.
I think this place is pretty great! We got the family suite. In one room theres a king bed and the other room are two queen beds. We have a fridge & microwave. The place was very clean. 2 sets of Washer & dryers downstairs. The breakfast is cereal, waffles, muffins & oatmeal with coffee, juice & milk. Ill definitely come back.
Very nice room size and the king bed was comfortable and had nice blankets. The bathroom is very nice with Paya shampoo, conditioner, and lotion dispensers in the shower/tub combination. The hotel has their pool and spa open during Covid-19 until 10pm each day and they provide extra pool towels if you ask for them at the front desk. The front desk staff was nice and you can give $100 room deposit in cash or card.
Thank you Mark and everyone at Lemon Tree. Our stay was amazing!! The hotel staff are the most polite and professional people I think I have ever met in all my travels. I felt like I was at home. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable and the pool and hot tub were perfect. The check-in process was super easy and I love that the property is gated. I was tempted to give this place 4 stars because the breakfast sucks. Oatmeal and bread more or less. I couldn’t bring myself to do it though. The good outweighs the breakfast by far. We will be back in December. Oh and it’s seriously like a 10 min drive to Disneyland parking
We stayed here last week and loved it. Got the 2 bedroom suite in the main building. We went for our Disneyland trip. 2 adults and 4 kids. Everyone was very nice. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool was heated and the jacuzzi was nice and hot. Room service was always very quick when we asked for extra towels and pillows. Front desk was always very nice and even the housekeeping ladies were really sweet. I would definitely go there again. The prices were great as well.
Great little hideaway place less than 4 miles from Disneyland. Watched the nightly fireworks from the balcony. Room was clean and hard to beat for the value. I got a two room suite with a king and queen bed. Great for a large family of 5-6. Pool was heated so a swim at 9pm at night in early February was awesome.
The element at the place was my biggest issue, I actually left at 1am there was numerous drug activities the place smelled like weed everywhere. Room wasn’t clean, I found someone else’s hair in the sheets. The bed was uncomfortable. It seemed like the other people staying the actually lived there, it’s seem like some ghetto apartments rather than a nice hotel. People were loud and out in common areas all throughout the night. Was kinda scary when we left at 1am. I wouldn’t stay here again & I would not recommend to anyone
I spoke with Mark in regards of some towels getting a red stain? My hair color is red. I told him that those stains are washable and that is a fact since i wash my own white cloths and they dont leave a red stain. He told me to be careful on the way i color my hair? so i wont left a stain? this means that because the way i look i cant use your services? this is discrimination. I been there before and i havent had any issues before and i can prove it with my previous receipts and i have never pay the deposit because of some stains? Your manager Mark said that it was because of how my hair color look like and mention that i should be careful on how i dye it? This wasnt a damage made on purpose like burning or tearing the towels. This means that people that dye they hair black blond brown green blue cant use your services too?
Stayed here for a night to take my CPA exam nearby and the room was dirty. They are gated which is great security. I saw a potato chip on my bed and some of the towels in my bathroom has some dirt. I couldnt study for my exam because the internet was really slow. I dont know if they also clean the airconditoner but its giving off a bad odor.Unfortunately I do not recommend this place.
This place was great! From the outside you cant tell how nice it is inside. Clean, plenty of room, bigger than I thought it would be. The beds were so super comfortable and the staff was very friendly 😊 My kids loved e breakfast, especially the fresh waffles on the weekend 😁
The hotel is extremely dirty, everything is old, TVs are very small, and Carlos the late night receptionist is extremely rude and was half asleep while talking to us. We ended up leaving after two hours and switching to the Marriott hotel. I do not recommend this hotel whatsoever especially if you have children. The carpet was so dirty my socks turned black. The carpet was so dirty my socks turned black The room had a very bad smell. There was mosquitoes in the back tub
The rooms are very nice, very clean. This similar to an apartment. Pool is nice and clean most have a patio. Private balcony is. Gated parking. Rooms with hot tubs. Phone in room , free ice and lots of stores and places to eat. However, it is no where near Disneyland or Newport beach. Lol but all in all nice place. Management is 24/7 and keeps to themselves and very friendly. Convenient, atm, wifi and use of a computer in the lobby.Third party credit card booking was also very helpful.
We absolutely love this place! The staff is amazing, friendly, and so helpful. The Continental breakfast gets better each time we go. The rooms are always clean and beautiful and spacious. Its always very quiet in the rooms, too, so we always sleep well. We have stayed three separate times for multiple days each time and have never had anything to complain about. This is the only place we will stay in Anaheim.
Wish we had invested an additional 60 dollars else where. They charged an additional $100 as you check in they will return as you check out the rooms reek like tobacco since the hallways have that awful scent. I Do not recommend this place for families not worth booking in this dirty dusty family suite.
Better than expected. Really great hotel if you are in a budget. Most people staying here are here for Disneyland. Its gated so you dont need to worry about your car. Parking does start getting full around 11 PM after everyone is coming back from a day out. Theres free breakfast which was also good. Everything was clean and felt safe. Totally recommend. Theres also a pool.
The hotel is gated, but all the rooms face outside which makes the room incredibly noisy at night. You can hear the cars all night long, and the people talking outside. The bed was dusty, and the room did not have lotion. The bathroom design was nice, and it was clean.
Our credit card rewards program booked this trip for us. We couldn’t be happier with our stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. We stayed 6 nights. We had plenty of hot water. The complementary breakfast was adequate. We had a family suite, which included a full size refrigerator, microwave, and kitchen counter with sink. The pool was heated and well maintained. Per my kids the beds are “super comfy”. The rooms and structure are well maintained. The rooms extremely clean. We even used the shuttle to Disneyland. The van is clean and well maintained. The driver even waited a few minutes for me when I was late returning. We hope to visit again.
The room reeks of cigarette smoke, room is dirty and bad shape. Between Sunday over half the parking area was closed off, we couldn’t even park in front of the place bc of the city sweeping maintenance happening Monday morning. Don’t the pictures fool you like they fooled me.
Great looking hotel when you initially look at it from the outside. Has a nice lobby with a friendly, helpful staff and a clean pool around the back of it. The room we stayed in was designed with furniture that seemed old fashioned at first, but ultimately felt very homey altogether. The hotel offers a free continental breakfast from about 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM. Just some of your typical on the go foods: coffee, yogurt, bagels, some eggs, bacon, things like those. Since Lemon Tree is in Anaheim, youd be a few minutes away from places like Disneyland. Only complaint is that the parking space is a bit small. Sometimes, it can be a bit difficult to find a parking spot. At some point during our stay, all parking spots in front of the lobby, in front of the rooms, and near the pool were all taken up. Otherwise, its a great stay and its my go to for whenever Im in California.
The rooms where clean and comfortable and the staff were super nice. Their parking is terrible the lot is 1 way the same way out, and there is hardly enough room for 1 car for every room and only gets worse when individuals dont know how to park. We also had an issue with noise pollution. Our room had 3 different random bangs that occurred in like 4 minute intervals, which was only made worse by our rooms location near the stairs so we heard every one going up and down the stairs.
We were passing through the area and needed a place to stay for the night and found the Lemon Tree online and decided to give it a try. We booked a family suite, we liked the idea that the kids had their own bed which eliminated the “they’re touching me or they’re on my side” fight. We realized we made a poor choice and should’ve stayed some place else and taken the fighting. The staff was friendly on checking in. The overall condition of the hotel is poorly remodeled and appears to be a converted apartment complex. The building smells like weed. Walking into the room confirmed our poor choice. The room overall was grungy. The floor is uneven and had a large divet in it- so be careful if you have week ankles. The carpet was heavily stained and had not been vacuumed. The bedding was worn had small holes in it. I like a firm mattress, but it was an extra firm mattress. The TV was difficult to operate due to the sticky remote had the words worn off the buttons so we had to guess on the buttons. The breakfast was about as basic as it gets muffins, eggos, oatmeal, etc. This hotel is at best a 1.5 star hotel and would not recommend unless you like the smell of weed, uneven floors with stained and dirty carpet, rock hard bed with worn bedding, and the overall feel of grunge.
Very basic. The hotel is old, even though parts of the room are renovated. My bed was lumpy and asqew. The walls are paper thin and I had to ask the front desk to ask the people in the next room to be quiet. Breakfast is really poor. And... Theres nothing to hang your towel on! I stayed at hotels of similar level / star rating, which managed to surprise and delight me. This one certainly didnt.
This hotel was not good quality AT ALL. My family and I stayed for a couple of days and we were extremely disappointed! Our sheets were dirty and stained, our pillow cases had what seemed like a blood stain, we were placed in a room in a dark hallway with flickering lights, OUTSIDE and we had children. The AC was blowing out air weakly. There were hotel guests smoking weed outside of our room and inundated the halls, just an AWFUL experience over all. We ended up not finding anything decent priced in the area so we were forced to stay there. So we went to Walmart to buy airbeds, extra comforters and blankets. If you can afford a decent place DO NOT STAY HERE.
Very surprised by the quality for only 70$; everything was nice. But breakfast was kind of disappointing. They shouldnt have included that as an amenity. It included toast, cereal, apples, and milk and orange juice. Thats it. No fake eggs, yogurt, bagels, boiled eggs, or anything resembling a choice. Overall pretty nice, had a balcony, and pool, and very nice staff. Very worth it for the price. Would stay again, but would go out for breakfast instead next time.
Area is not bad. Close enough to Disney and restaurants. We got a non smoking room but could smell people outside smoking. I think they also have guests who stays there on weekly basis. Pool is nice and clean. Breakfast served daily is the same. Didnt change the 5 days that we were there. But it worked for us and got us going. They do have shuttle service but only one schedule. One in the morning for drop off and another at night for pick up. When one of our boys got the bathroom floor and the kitchen area all wet from the shower, they responded right away to our call for assistance. Plan to come back? 🙄 50/50 chance.
The rooms with 2 queen + one king bed are great. Dont let the breakfast be your deciding factor here. Not worth it. Its overall clean and felt safe. We were assigned a room in a not so great location with the BBQ area right outside our windows. A bit too noisy late at night. Also, the housekeepings laundry/work area was right next door and after a long day at the resorts, not so fun for them to have their music blasting. Ive stayed in better places, but it was ok on a tight budget.
Wife and I stayed here for three nights. Its just an OK place, but we had MANY issues. Maid service changed our bed sheets during our stay, but thats about it - seriously. Maid took our old towels, but never gave us new ones (so we had to go the front desk for new ones). Maid never took out the trash, never cleaned the coffee maker, never cleaned the room of clear trash items, never replenished coffee cups and plastic water cups, and never replenished soap. The walls are super thin so youre going to hear your neighbors TV. There were bugs in the room. The unit upstairs was leaking water into our bathroom by the end of our stay (we called maintenance). The continental breakfast is a joke - just cereal, toast and pastries - seriously (no eggs, no sausages, no waffle/pancake maker, etc.). Bottom line: If youre looking for a budget hotel and are OK with the issues above, then go for it. But if youre looking for a relaxing retreat with nice amenities for the spouse and/or family - forget about it. Best of luck!
The hotel itself is pretty basic, but for the cost it really is hard to beat. Rooms have nice flat screens, good channel selection, heaters, and there is a pool/spa. The one thing that could really be improved is the free breakfast. Yes, I know, its free, but many other hotel breakfasts have sausage, eggs, pancakes, etc. The breakfast here is pretty limited to some packaged pastries, fruits, and cereal. Other than that, the hotel is really pretty good. Staff was very friendly.
If I have a chance to leave 0 star I will do it. It is the worst hotel experience all my life. They put 19 gypsy in 2 rooms, all night we can not sleep at all, 6 kids and bunch of adults do not listen, we ask help to front desk but this guy does not care of guests, they do not care people! Worst of the worst
Very clean, homelike feeling, perfect get away from your crazy life and ex boyfriend haha.. I am truly grateful for the service here and the staff that went above and beyond to handle a personal situation I was dealing with. I highly recommend this place to stay at for anyone :)
Older place but kept very clean.Staff very nice.I spent 2 nights and found that they used same breakfast food both days. ie, muffins, bread and cereals. Any of these leftovers were used both days. Milk and juice were probably refrigerated and used again although I could not tell. I hope the coffee and oatmeal wasnt although I dont drink coffee so I dont know for sure and I didnt have the oatmeal.Over all, you get what you pay for.A nice older place kept very clean with nice staff.
We loved our room, very clean and the bed was great, carpeted room and tile bathroom. Love the fact that we had a little fridge with a freezer, huge flat screen, microwave, coffee pot, ironing board, iron, and hair dryer. Great water pressure and even came with body wash shampoo and conditioner right in the tub. Will definitely always stay here on our visits as the staff are very professional and very friendly
My wife stayed here a few months ago and liked the place. We went last week to visit our daughter and my wife booked a suite for us, using our Visa Scorecard Rewards points. I read the reviews and thought this might be a poor place to stay -- WRONG! Some reviews are four years old - should not influence you now. The suite (254) was big, clean, well-equipped for staying a long time and making your own meals. It was quiet. The Front Desk persons were always friendly and helpful.. Parking is easy and no charge. Room rates low, and only 10 minutes to Disneyland, if that is your thing. Reviewed by a 78-year-old -- trust me! We will stay there again if in the area.
When I heard 7 of us were sharing one room and only one bathroom, I was nervous, but it ended up being a great experience! The AC works, the bathroom is spacious and it came equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and it wasnt a generic brand that isnt good for my hair. So far we are enjoying our stay, and the staff is friendly. Good location, worth staying at!
This hotel has always been home away from home for my family. They upgraded the hotel recently. Nice, clean and pleasant staff. You will enjoy the large pool, they also have a barbeque area where you can cook for your family, suites are equipped with kitchen. They offer breakfast in the mornings also. Cold cereals and toast, muffins, juices and coffee, yogurts and fruits
Its been 3-years since my wife and I stayed at the Lemon Tree, and they have really made some changes for the better. Upgraded floors and facilities, but they managed to keep that quaint characteristic that we love. Parking is free and the lot is gated. This is a huge money saver when other hotels charge for parking.
Staff was friendly, rates were very affordable, plus that have a gated parking lot so my vehicle was secure. I did come in with a 1 ton truck and 16ft trailer, the small lot was able to accommodate my vehicle, but barely. If you have a large vehicle/truck & trailer, prepare to park on the street out front.Rooms were good in comparison with the rates. A few things were dirty or broken, but nothing unexpected from $100/night accommodations.Light continental breakfast consists of toast, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, and a few pieces of fruit.
Looked clean, but the sheets were disgusting the towels looked dirty as well. The breakfast is super disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. If you walk barefooted for to long your feet turn black, that should tell you everything. And I honestly dont think this a good place to stay with children. A lot of ghetto looking people stay there. I felt like I was at a cracked head hotel. SMH!
We really loved our room! The only problems we had were when we first got into the room it was about 60 degrees. Then to turn the heater/AC on or off, you have to use this remote type thing and we were so cold that we turned it up too high and then had to get up in the middle of the night because we were too hot. There should have been some kind of sheet explaining how to change simple functions on it. The other thing was the breakfast was eh. They had cereal, toast, waffles, Sunny D, coffee, muffins, etc. I was surprised that they only had a few of each item though.. They only had about 4 mini muffins out! Other than that, we will definitely stay here again! Room was super clean & very cute. Staff was very nice as well.
This place is spectacular and the prices are very reasonable. There is breakfast anpool jacuzzi and the staff are always active. I rented for a week a family room very spacious great ac and very clean. The location is great. WiFi and lots of places to hang out and spend the day. There is always some one at front desk to assist. I dont think I could found a better location for the price. Lemon tree from the outside seems small but the property is massive there are different theme rooms. I had zero issues with staying here it feels like home.
This was perfect for what I needed. I had my room with a door that closed and my daughter had her room along with her daughter and friend. The rooms were large and we went to the sauna and it was so clean and the rooms were very clean. Loved the flat screen. It was great to have a kitchen in one of the rooms. Large refrigerator was nice.
The hotel was disgustingly dirty and run down. Our rooms werent ready well after 3pm check in time. The floor was sticky and dirty after just being cleaned. Our feet and socks were black after walking around in the room which supposedly had just been renovated. There was a cigarette butt left in our non-smoking room. Although the towels were clean, they were stained and old. The door to our room wouldnt open unless we used extreme force by pushing it with our shoulders. The pictures online are deceiving and I didnt sleep at all. The free breakfast was minimal at best and the morning staff was rude. Do not stay here. Ever.
I love the Lemon Tree. Its so cozy and nice. And they have breakfast in the morning. They also put up a new gate so you have to have a key card to get in to park. Much safer. If you dont have a major credit card they take a cash deposit of 200. They also let you check I early for a fee of $28.and some change. I guess that fee could be dependent on how early you wasnt to check in. Overall love the place. And the front desk guy who has been at the Lemon Tree since I have been coming which is at least 4 years ago is such a delight and so helpful. He really starts off your stay here pleasantly.
No complaints really. The floor could have been cleaner and there were ants in tue room but they didnt bother us. There were no bedbugs which was more important to us. The room was fine otherwise. We got there late, the guy who checked us in was very nice. We had some sausage, waffles and eggs for breakfast and checked out.The pool looked nice (if a little small) but we didnt have time to swim. All in all it was nothing special but we would stay there again for the price we paid.
Its a well kept establishment, and quite secure. However, while visiting a friend who was in town I was slightly annoyed by the 20 minute parking in the entry, as well as within the grounds proper. The rooms are standard fare, identical to any number of such boarding across the country - nothing stood out, but thats not necessarily a bad thing.
Stayed there for two nights, they asked for a $100 deposit which wasn’t a problem except the fact that you never see that money again. It’s been a week in a half now and they keep giving me the run around that the money has been released whatever that means No money has ever been deposited back. The stay was terrible, people just rent a rooms there to party till whatever time they feel like. Sketchy looking people, not recommended if you have kids.
I called them with a simple question prior to check in and the person who answered the phone was less than professional with the answer. Upon arrival, the parking lot was a mess to navigate with cars blocking spaces and only one way in or out. Parked directly outside of our room was an Uber driver who decided that was the best place for an afternoon nap. Inside the room, there was a very sharp track of some sort bolted to the floor just in front of the closet. The microwave was teetering on top of the mini fridge and had multiple items stacked in it. The sink fixture was loose and I had to go under the sink to repair the drain stopper myself when the whole rod came out of the fixture. Also we were the hotel is completely non-smoking, but be sure there were people smoking in the parking lot directly in front of our room. Needless to say I did not want to see what other sunrises this place had in store. We stayed the night, but cancelled the rest of our stay and sought other lodging.
Room advertised as 2 queen beds but got 2 fulls. There was a dirty towel in the bathroom when we checked in. Blankets were thin and too short. Could hear outside noise and plumbing from other rooms. Front door didnt fit the door frame. Beds were lumpy. Gated parking was the best thing but people who didnt have rooms still got in.
This is a 1 star Motel. Please beware.Unfortunately, we booked, eventhough we have never heard of them before, but as we came close to arriving, we already knew it was going to be a mistake, but we just didnt realize how big of one it would be.As others have mentioned, this is not just a motel set up, but also one off of a busy street where other motels are next door, and people are always hanging out outside. We had people throughout the night going back and forth across our room door, making noise, smoking cigarettes and yes, the smell does come through. Also, because there is no parking, people are trying to go in and out right outside your door as well. There is a gate/fence that is easy to bypass and you feel no security as well. This is a terrible place for families or anyone trying to get a good nights sleep. We have gone to many hotels...trust me, this is a no-go. Save yourself the money and trouble.
Not impressed! The shuttle to Disneyland only runs 2x a day, 1 going to Park at opening, 1 coming back at park closing...so basically your stuck at the park all day long.....We had two beds K & Q, with separate rooms which was very nice....carpets throughout were very dirty.1 tiny bathroom trash can which overflowed in 5 minutes, broken ice bucket which we used as a trash can however housekeeping couldnt figure that out and left the trash in it even though it was on the floor by the overflowing can.We checked out 1 night early, the next day upon checking my credit cards because we paid cash...I discovered $16.12 had been charged as a resort fee....come on now....really?Oh ya...there is a & $20 cleaning fee if you leave a dirty dish behind.Wifi sucked....got nothing, cell phones wouldnt work, laptop wouldnt work....ugh!!! Frustrating! We had a patron facing the pool...was very loud pool was always packed with people and the spa was all foamy and just nasty gross!Wont be back here!
Pictures are very deceiving. My wife and I stayed there one night, and it was one night too many. There was no parking available, the receptionist told me to park in their only handicap spot. The room smelled like marijuana. There were strains on the walls and bedding. Gaps all along the door, any insect or small animal could easily get in. It is not worth nearly as much as they ask for.
We found a diamond of a find. Staff was friendly and attentive. Our room was clean, had a small kitchen, and plenty of room for the adults and a toddler. The breakfast had a good assortment of choices, and it was a nice unique change to the usual hotel stays. We were very impressed and would book again if we journeyed back to Anaheim.
I got this place for $112.00 on Hotwire never even knew it existed. Went to Disneyland with my two adult children and for the first time staying at a hotel together we all had a comfortable nights sleep without anyone being on the sleeping mat! There were two queen and one king bed with plenty of room. I would say the hotel is older but nice to sleep at for going to Disneyland. Hop skip and a jump away and I would stay there again it was a good deal.!
Do not be fooled by the pictures on the internet! We booked this motel 1 month in advance and arrived late evening to find our rooms were not even ready. The first room did not have air conditioning and was too hot to stay the night in. The second room had a set of patio doors with a thin lock that did not work. We could lock the patio door from the inside, go outside of our room and push the patio doors in to enter our secure room. Did not feel safe staying here at all. The next room smelled like urine. It was disgusting as the toilet did not flush and the tub did not drain when we showered. Complimentary breakfast included cereal, oatmeal mush, muffins, and hot dogs. It seems they just put down whatever they could find onto the breakfast table. Learn from our experience and stay somewhere else.
Its not a nice hotel but I dont think you can expect luxury with the prices. It is dirty and there are many simple things that should just be replaced like lamp shades and shower curtains etc. With that said it was a fine place to sleep and if you just need a cheap place to sleep at night, its not HORRIBLE, especially when youre paying as low as $70 a night. Lin at the front desk was very nice.
I recommend this hotel. Nice rooms. Pool and a jacuzzi. Big safe parking. Quiet. Thin walls between rooms is a challenge. The breakfast is typical American. And that’s not good, but you can survive. The staff is helpful. Restaurant and shopping nearby, 4 minutes walk. Some of the rooms are #wheelchair friendly. We stayed here for 3 nights in January
Believe the bad reviews!!! We had mutiple cockroaches upon entering and the floors were disgusting! They looked liked they havent been cleaned in years! We left within 30 minutes of being there after being at theme parks all day and checking in at midnight. We got a full refund by taking a pictures of the cockroaches. When we showed the front desk the acted like, ya we have those here. He wasnt even shocked!
This hotel is definitely NOT a FAMILY friendly hotel, we found some mariguana pipes by the parking lot, some illegal stuff going on around the area, the rooms look nothing like the pictures, we had a chair desk that seemed like it was taking out of the dumpster. Breakfast was very simple oatmeal, muffins and cereal. Definitely not a 3 star hotel at all, Ill give it a .5 star rating for false advertising.
My family and I went to this hotel for a Disneyland trip. We had relatives lived close so we thought we could book a hotel that’s close to them. Trust me, these pictures is not even close to the hotel. We stepped inside the hotel. There stains on the chairs, beds, floors, walls, and all over the place. We already felt uncomfortable. I recommend not come to this hotel.
Rooms were good for the price in the location. Just a few miles from Disneyland. The breakfast is filling, with hard boiled eggs, sausage, frozen waffles, cereals, orange juice, oatmeal, mini muffins, apples, and yogurt. Good fuel for a day at one of the nearby parks. Our first room had a strong smokey smell, so we requested another room and the staff accommodated us. The second room was just fine.
If i can Leave a negative 5 I would !!! There are flies nesting in the room,The dispensers for shower gel is so Rusty and outdated , The carpets are old and smell nasty 🤢 the room is STANK!! The Ac is completely messed up the compressor is old! The kitchenette comes with nothing AT ALL & it’s not available at the front Desk. Don’t waste your time spend the extra money for a better hotel , I don’t even understand how it gets 3.7 stars at this HILLBILLY MANSION!!And on top of that their staff is RUDE!!!! I thought coming to Anaheim was all the Hype But Driving 45 minutes away from home was the worst EXPERIENCE EVER!! THE PICTURES ARE DEFINITELY DECIEVINH
I wanted to post pictures that accurately depict this hotel. The pictures are nothing like the dump we pulled into. Looks beautiful from the pictures, but is a huge disappointment. Dont be deceived by the fake good reviews. Upon seeing the room, there was leftover hair on furniture and in sink, was clearly not dusted or thoroughly cleaned, and hasnt been maintained properly in years. This is definitely bottom of the line MOTEL, not a hotel by any means. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!
If you are looking for a moderately priced hotel for your next disneyland trip this isnt a bad place to consider.3 nights for about $320.00Overall I wasnt expecting much out of it other than a place to sleep, but in all honesty Lemon Tree turned out to be a nice place to stay. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were nice and our room even had a kitchenette equipped with microwave, stove top, mini fridge and sink w/granite counter tops. There is a pool and hot tub that looked chill, we were just never around long enough to use it.For the price and amenities I would stay here again. Nothing super fancy, but nothing to complain about. Thats a win-win.
I stayed at this hotel for 2 months! Everyone is so sweet! It felt like home! They have a 24 hour Cafe with delicious Starbucks, Hot drinks, snacks, plus free continental breakfast! Dog Friendly! The atmosphere and architectural design of the hotel is absolutely beautiful and very cozy! Heated pool! Full kitchens! Choice of Porch or balcony! A popular place, so book early! Enjoy! I did a lot!
Do not stay here! I Had made a reservation online ahead of my arrival to assure the rooms needed would be available. (We were down for a memorial service) But, when we arrived the incompetent, rude young man at the check in desk said no room wasnt available and made comments like....I see you here all the time... we stayed only once before to contact coroners office and make funeral arrangements. Sooo.. the implications were shocking. As was his attitude. I am still waiting for my refund.
My family and I got a family suite for a few nights and the first night my sister noticed some stains on the sheets and I didn’t like much of it because she’s really picky and the other beds were good and everything seems pretty clean, floors bathroom everything. The second night, TONIGHT, she found a booger on her bed like a literal booger. On the sheets, like the maid sneezed and didn’t cover her nose. It’s disgusting. So when we asked for new sheets a guy brought them up and just handed them to us. We had to ask if someone was gonna make the bed he offered but being mad we just did it ourselves to make sure nothing was wrong. Everything else has been okay but the beds are THE MOST IMPORTANT PART. They’re not rude but they need to practice a better procedure for making beds because this ain’t it.
Low room price. No closet in room. Gap under door let noise and air in. Accessible shower had curtain only covering halfway. No garment hooks in bathroom. However, staff was friendly and courteous, room was clean as could be expected for an older facility, and buffet breakfast of rolls and such was provided.
This hotel is so cute, and it would be perfect if it werent for the maintenance and the house cleaning staff. I have never in my whole life, not even at a motel have had so many things of mine dissapeare. And iv stayed at a lot, a lot of hotels & motels. Most the stuff missing are little things no big deal except for my ID. That is really freaking bothering me. And the fact that every time I step out of my room, the staff steps into my room. Which I think is so damn rude, and disrespectful. Might I add that staff are also very, very nosy and forcefully into your business. This hotel if it wants to be a better one need to really thing about hiring new house cleaning and maintenance staff. And be choosy about what people the are hiring. Because its seems like that part of the staff are straight scum bags. Looks and acts like scum bags
Place was dirty, smelled like an ash tray, tweekers living in one room over, mattresses are old and really uncomfortable, and the walls are thin, you can hear everything. It is close to Disney and the price is pretty good but not worth it. I don’t get how this place is 3 star
Great place! My family and i stayed for 16 days at the lemon tree and we had a great time! The family rooms are nice and clean. The beds where good. The breakfast is a little bit simple...not like Dutch People are used to... and the diningroom was to small for so many People. So make sure you come on time (before 8)We would love to visit the lemon tree again ♡
Got the jaquizi suite. Clean room, minor issues like tear in the shower curtain and weak toilet. Spa tub was dope and there was still a traditional bathtub/shower in room. The TV could have been on a different mount that pivots so we could see from the hot tub though. Very quiet property close by quick food options and the freeway. Took
Room was fair in quality, and clean. Though it did show its age. Could use some updates. The free breakfast was lacking. There was little selection and not enough space/staff to manage it. Parking was not an issue either night we stayed. Getting to Disneyland was quick and painless. Though the right turn out of the Lemon Tree is a blind turn when a larger vehicle is parked on the street, so tell your loved ones you care about them before you make this turn. TLDR: meh, it works
TV remote did not work, floor was dirty. Could not black out the room, no curtains, just blinds, so it was hard to sleep. In the morning, the was cops searching for someone, we did not feel safe. The only thing we did like was the staff, they were very friendly and the price of the hotel. We would probably stay there again if the price is right
Two Queen beds room and it was great. Hotel was full yet I heard no noise in the night. Pool was heated to real warm and felt like bathwater. Breakfast was okay but room was crowded since the hotel was full. Landscaping was beautiful. Room is dated decor but had refridgerator and microwave which was nice. Great price for amenities offered. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.
Well we stayed there for 4 days. The staff were friendly when i had to call and ask for the bed sheets to be changed since they were dirty one of them had a shoe mark and the other one looked like if my kid used a white shirt for camping and then tried to wash it herself and dried it on top of the truck. The breakfast just unexplainable, it wasnt there it was a nasty dirty setting.. like i never seen a hotel cook oatmeal in a crockpot for everyone to stick there hands in, the rooms were a good size, had a mini fridge and a microwave, there was no parking space and we had to park in the street literally. There was people constantly smoking on premises. It honestly felt like an upper class crack shack.. IF YOU WANT TO STAY HERE TO SAVE 1 OR 2 HUNDRED BUCKS DONT DO IT..
All i can say is LOUD!!! If you dont mind being kept up till midnight then woken up at 6 this place is for you. I could hear every single thing from the rooms next to mine all 3 nights and the pool below (which closes at 10 but had children SCREAMING in it until 11) Not to mention matnince in the room next to us at 8am on a Saturday doing work on the wall we share. House keeping didnt ever pick up the room, only give us fresh towels. We would be gone all day with our things neatly put away only to come home to our bed unmade and trash not taken out. Disappointing. This hotel has gone downhill from when I stayed here last. The breakfast leaves much to be desired and bed are rock hard. Theres also a huge lack of privacy. When the blinds are open everyone in about a 10 mile radius can see right into your room. No sheer curtains. The balcony next to us is devided by a open fence, if someone was sitting on that balcony they could see our bed. For the price its a great value but if you want to sleep for more than 4 hours go somewhere else.
Stayed in room 159 first, woke up at 2am to my arm and pinky finger burning and itching..tore the bed up and found a bed bug..they gave me another room with no argument. They gave me room 134.. I finally turned my lights out at 7am because I was so scared of what I found in the previous room and at 9am my other arm is burning and itching..found another bed bug and some babies pants that fell behind the bed! The rooms are really nice, all the hotel staff was super friendly also but something needs to be done about their housekeeping..Im traveling for business purposes..not sure what I can get done with zero sleep. I posed pictures of the bed bugs..seems they were removed!
Budget-friendly hotel with super helpful staff. On-site parking, free WiFi, and free shuttle to Disney were a plus! The complimentary breakfast was appreciated, budget- wise...but the food was just average. The room was cleaned and tidy each evening when we returned. The only negative feedback and heads-up for future guests I have is that we could hear quite literally everything that was said or done in rooms next to us, and even the rooms across the hall. I was woken up at 3:30 AM by a heated conversation the guests were having in the room next to us -- and I could hear ev-er-y-thing (And Terrell did not sound like a nice guy.) I understand this is not a reflection of the hotel itself, however it did affect our experience.Other than that.... we enjoyed our stay!
The rooms are clean, but lack basic amenities. On arrival there was no dryer or iron in the room. I had to call the front desk to have them brought to us. Also, the ironing board was terrible. Not only was it not a regular standing ironing board, it did not function properly for what it was, and staff could not explain to me how to use it. There is a 24 hour laundry room whoch is convenient, however, the laundry soap dispenser ate my $1.25 without dispensing a box of soap. The machine was empty.Overall, the room was fine for the price, but not as well kept or supplied as its sister hotel, the Pepper Tree, which was wonderful on our last stay.
The hotel itself is really good, nice sized rooms, friendly clerks, very spacious yard. The yard itself had a patio set outside the pool for relaxing, as well as a bbq, really cool touch. The rooms were clean, with generous amount of towels. Probably the only minus, the shower head wasn’t working, so we had to take a bath instead of a shower. The continental breakfast was ok at best, granted we got there at 8 am, but still could of been better. They even had a tip jar for the breakfast area, so here’s my tip, keep the coffee hot. The coffee was so cold, I thought I was drinking a Frappuccino... Besides these minor inconveniences, i will return here. It’s only 10 minutes away from Disneyland.
We stayed in the family suite! One room had a king bed, with a desk and chair along with a full glass mirror closet. The second bedroom had 2 beds, one full and one queen. There was no common area room, which was disappointing. In the second bedroom there was a sink, microwave and refrigerator. The suite was similar to having 2 separate hotel rooms of course with only one main entrance/exit door. The Breakfast was HORRIBLE. There was oatmeal sitting inside of a crock pot, muffins that still had the purchase price sticker from Walmart! They had 2 types of cold cereal- fruit loops and raisin BranWe payed $180 for a one night stay (Sunday to Monday) the cost for the hotel wasnt outrageous but we were expecting a decent breakfast before our day at Disney Land!
Checked in at midnight and got into the room only minutes later. Shower was tidy and had enough towels. The thing that I disliked was I couldnt find the AC and being in LA it was pretty hot at night so I didnt enjoy the sleep much especially since the bed was pretty tough as well as the sheets. They also didnt have bar soap out to wash my hands by the sink but good thing I brought my own.
Rooms are clean maintained a/c runs great area is pretty maintain as far as cleanliness the only issue I had was breakfast... Place is pretty small for it... the waffle mix tasted weird so I tried the cereal it tasted kind of stale even before I pour milk into it other than that great place to stay
This hotel is family friendly, clean and has friendly staff. The kitchenette consisted of a hot plate/oven, refrigerator and microwave, a small counter area and small sink. There is a knife in a drawer, one small pot, one large pot and a skillet. The kitchenette does not come with utensils or serving ware. The front desk staff was helpful and accommodating. There is a grill pit, a pool and coy pond. The morning breakfast offers cereal, milk, OJ, toast, muffins and whole fruit (apples, oranges, bananas)As a stickler for cleanliness, the room we occupied was clean although the bathroom was small and the tub old and blemished. The room decor was pleasant.I recommend this hotel as a nice place to stay when you basically need a clean space to sleep and shower.
A great place to stay, especially if you are here for Disneyland. It is about a 15 minute drive. The room seems clean and the staff seems very friendly. The only bad thing is the lack of parking but they allow people to park in the 25min parking zone, so I guess that solves that. I would happily stay here again!
The room smelled moldy, but was clean. The website claimed that they have a hot breakfast. The breakfast was basically continental. The only thing hot, about their so called hot breakfast, was the microwaved sausage links, and they had waffles, but they only had 1 waffle maker, with 30 people trying to wait in line for it. By the time my wife made her waffle, they cleaned up all the other items from the breakfast. We will not be returning to this hotel. They will never get my business again. This hotel was rated 3 stars. Not even close to that.
Nice staff, clean room, and comfortable bed. Its also conveniently located near Disneyland. They have a shuttle service to Disneyland but its first come first serve; leaves at 8:30am and pickup from Disneyland is 10:30 pm, at least it was when I was staying. Breakfast was pretty lackluster but enough. Overall its pretty good quality for the price and Id stay again if Im in the area.
This place seems OK from appearance both inside and out. The rooms appear to be renovated/remodeled, and I would assume the owner takes either pride our joy in ownership. This is not your Hinton nor Marriot, but one of the better individually owned hotel/motels. Location is near downtown Anaheim and Disneyland with easy access to 57fwy, Lincoln and state college blvd. Across the street is brand new low income housing and the crowd appears to be mid class. I have seen this place with an empty parking lot to an over crowded parking lot in which i would trust my 2017 car to be parked on the lot. Plenty of surveillance cameras to ensure safety and privacy. I believe the price is correct, you will get what you pay for. Dont know the staff in my experience i would rate them on the professional side.this is not a motel i see on the l list of priority to scrap just yet.
The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean enough... not immaculent, but clean. Did not see any cockroaches... a big plus in my book. Breakfast ciuld be improved... especially the orange juice.... too much water... literally tasts like water with orange coloring.
The room was nice. Clean, comfortable. HOWEVER, some lowlife stole my phone out of the car while we were transferring luggage, cracked it, then once he realized he had depreciated the value and that someone (we) was calling it, literally handed it back to us in person. Not safe (hence the deadbolt, chain lock, AND magnetic lock on the door), but the rooms were nice.
Room looked ok clean, matrasses where about as bad as they come, room was hot as hell, even with window open, no thermostat. Breakfast was a joke fruit loops and branflakes, and a box of Costco mini muffins....some milk the kids said tasted funny and refused to eat, and El cheapo OJ.....all is expected with 39.99 hotel....except this was 3 times as much....and the TV glowed red whenever it should have been black.....afvise...find something else
The room was decent. The bathroom appeared to be redone while the rest was stuck in the 90s. The guest in the suite above ours plunged their toilet and that caused out bathroom to flood. It was disgusting and destroyed the entire experience. The breakfast food was not good either. We did not stay. The bathroom may have looked updated, but the plumbing was so janky!!!
Pictures make it look so charming and SoCal rustic....but its a dump. We booked online and paid in full 3 months before. When we arrived we were charged a resort fee that we were never informed of ahead of time. It was only about $12 but...its the principle. The uncomfortable bed gave my husband a sore neck and headache for most of our trip. Housekeeping only came around 5pm, which was inconvenient to say the least when were back in the room, showering, napping, cooking, etc. We never got clean sheets and had to keep asking for towels. Horrible internet, wasnt worth using. Crappy flat screen that was dirty with bad screen resolution. Ancient AC units, ill-equipped kitchen, dirty walls and carpet, sticky floor. This is not the sort of hotel you are happy to go back to at then end of the day :(
I booked a room at this hotel online through Priceline. From its profile picture, it looks nice but dont let that mislead you. I dont know why its even called a hotel because its actually a motel. It was the worst hotel I stayed in throughout my entire week visit to South California. The only plus side is that it offers free breakfast buffet and its very close to Disneyland Park.
So you are looking at this hotel and thinking it doesnt look ideal, but also thinking- how much time will we actually spend there anyways? NO!Do not do it. Just no. When were checked in there were medications and a wall tack on the floor. It CLEARLY had not been vacuumed. In the 6 days we were there they emptied the garbage one time. One day we returned and the room had not been made up at all. We asked about it and at the same time as I was enquiring, there was another guest being kicked out for asking for better service. He didnt get it.They went to service our room while we were out for dinner and when we returned, they had taken our blankets and left tiny sheets on the bed. It was so odd. The towels were left ON TOP OF THE UNCLEANED TOILET. On the upside, they offered us 10% off of that one night for the inconvenience. So about $10. Laughable. One day we returned and had no towels at all. There was an iron but no ironing board. Surfaces were sticky.Weekend breakfast was something weird in a crockpot. Weekdays was a bag of bread and a plastic container of mini muffins. Just dont stay here. Please.

2022-02-25Reserved a jacuzzi suite room for my wife and I for our 24 wedding anniversary. When we arrived on Saturday they told me they canceled our reservation and we had to settle for a regular room. We got the room only two towels were in the bathroom. We had a closet with no hangers. We ran out of toilet paper and had to go to the front desk to ask for more. We left 7 am the next morning for Disneyland where we got married 24 years prior. We got back to the room at 1 am. Open the door and the room was just as we left it. They didnt clean it or bring more towels. I talked to the front desk and he said they only do that if you are their for 4 days and you have to request it. We wanted some ice but the ice machine is at the pool outside. It is locked up after 9 pm and you have no access. The next day we went swimming. There were no towel so I went to the front desk and found out you have to check them out and return them or you will be charged.Strange place. We will never stay there again.

2022-02-14After reading the reviews I was little skeptical but I took my chances. This hotel gave me apartment complex vibes more-so than a hotel it was nothing fancy, just simple and nice. I stayed over the weekend and this place was calm and quiet minus the roof construction but they informed me in advance about it. Safe neighborhood location so I felt safe, the parking is gated in and you have to have a room key to enter, Security walks around the premises at night and there’s cameras everywhere! I gave this hotel 3 stars because there were a few inconveniences: the sauna advertised wasn’t working, the Jacuzzi wasn’t working, the roof construction started way earlier than I was told so my son and I were awaken early due to the loud pounding, the parking can be pain at night, and they stop serving breakfast due to covid whereas other competitor hotels started back serving breakfast. Other than that my son and I enjoy our mini get away.

2022-06-07Clean rooms, friendly staff. Suites offer a kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator and microwave. They have another attached room with 2 queen beds. My family has been staying here for over 10 years on our family Disneyland trips and we enjoy the short drive to Disneyland minus the crowds of tourists. Its a perfect location close to Target, Vons and many restaurants. I always recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Disneyland or Anaheim.

2022-02-03Check in staff were ok. The stairs and hallway were littered with tissues and large crumbs. There was hair in most of the towels. Shower was clean and water pressure was fine. The beds were horrible. They honestly felt like a piece of plywood and springs. Pillows are trash. There was no comforter just sheets so we had to turn the heater on high because it was freezing. Its saving grace is its location.

2022-03-13Go to Motel 6 instead!King suite with jacuzzi = YUCK!Mold around the jacuzzi (we definitely did not go in) Toilets were running all night and the shower curtain was torn. Sheets and blankets had stains. Walls are super thin. We were awaken at 3:30am by the room next door fighting and having a romantic dispute. I tried calling the front desk, but I couldnt because the phone didnt have buttons! I used my cell phone to call the front desk. Nothing was done. The next day, upstairs room seemed to be having a tap dance contest. Also, towels were full of hair (from the dryer Im guessing) but still, nasty. Even more nasty when the second towel you grab has blood on it.Pictures online are deceiving! They hired a really good photographer to photoshop.

2022-04-27When it comes to lodging on a budget, the lemon tree is where its at. Nice, clean, affordable, and equipped to handle extended stay guests needs, the lemon stands amongst the proud few that can boast an acclaim as such. One downside admittedly. They require a $200 totally refundable cash deposit. So be prepared to pay that upfront as a one time payment. Im not sure if paying with a credit card for the deposit hold is less but usually if it is, its about $100 less.

2022-01-15Only came here because I seen the jet tub in the room, as soon as I walked in the room smelled like mildew, I went to take a shower, & found pubic hair with red long hair on the rag. After that I was ready to go. I stayed anyways & found a blood stain on my pillow case, & hair stuck inside the jets in the tub. The cleaning people definitely need to do a much better job, & old towels, wash cloths, & anything stained needs to be thrown away. Definitely would not recommend to anyone.

2022-03-19Long story short: skip this place if you can.Cons: Housekeeping didn’t visit the entire 4 days and 3 nights we were there. No fresh towels. Garbage wasn’t taken out. Thin walls. I was allergic to the detergent in the sheets so I was itchy and my skin broke out; however, my husband didn’t have a reaction to the sheets so that may just be me. No streaming services on the TV. When we came in a light was out and the TV settings were in Spanish but I managed to switch it to English.Pros: A maintenance worker came in a fixed the lamp right away. The front desk workers were very nice. The room next to us was blaring the TV at 10pm and when we asked the front desk to talk to them they did and the TV volume was lowered so that it wasn’t bothering us.

2022-01-01The room was absolutely fine for my tastes. Where they lose some is from the woefully inadequate parking. As Im writing this, Im near checking out but my car is parked a little down the road in a residential area. As I got back last night fairly late, it was pretty obvious that people were letting their friends in with their friends cars, even though the friends probably werent technically staying here. Other than this, the motel was fine, but that was a problem.

2022-06-23Pros: Great location nearby everythingCons: Rooms werent neatly clean. Towels had stains. It looked old. Bed sunk in the middle, so when sleeping we were drawn to the middle of the bed (annoying to say the least). The bathroom sink was leaking. We were 4 people for 4 nights and they gave us 1 toilet paper and 1 soap. We just went to Walmart and bought some. However, for a $120/night I expected much more cleanliness, updated rooms, and yes toiletries. Conclusion: I do not recommend.
