Thecrecviews on here must be a campaign from the new office staff, seriously. I have lived here for a year and a half. I can honestly say that there is truly nothing good except the amount of rent and 1/2 the maintenance staff is nice. The office staff? Oh my, a couple of discriminatory, rude, catty chicks that have a huge superiority complex and feel that they are above fair housing laws or any other for that matter. Safety is not a priority in any way, shape or form. Most the lighting is out at the back of the propert, pool light is out (pretty sure thats a violation) and they dont care.Theyve known for 6 months and do nothing to remedy the situation. Inconveniencing residents, on the other hand, is top priority. They took away guest parking, are in the process of taking away what little storage came with the apartment and feel like they can go through your personal belonging during their annual inspection under the guise of checking gfi, which was cringingly announced as the leasing agent entered every room. She was really looking for anything that would be a lease violation, and taking pictures on her personal cell phone. The woman was seriously out of control. Anyhow, aside from god awful management (local and corporate). My laundry has been stolen 5 times...I know, I should learn and go elsewhere. Car broken into twice, 3 rent increases, went without a front door knob for over a week, and have seen numerous altercations. Btw, I work 40 or more hours a week, so its not like Im sitting around watching. All the while, if you disagree with management, expect to be treated like a third class citizen who doesnt deserve to breathe their air. I am not even exaggerating. The leasing chick in her busted and old BMW has no qualms being out right discriminatory. Ill file my fair housing complaint in due time, but for now... fair warning to any one looking to move here. And trust me, the reviews from the last few months have to be bogus. I have yet to come across all these shiny happy people holding hands. The place is filled with disgruntled, low income residents.
We just got new managers and it seems like they’re on point already. All these folks that were vouching for Cassandra being a excellent manager was all lies obviously or she wouldn’t have gotten fired. Bribing tenants to leave good reviews for her like really?? I’ve been here almost 6 years now and it’s hasn’t been great. we’ve had rat issues the last few years and it had gotten rediculous around my unit cause of the hills. I must say the new Maitenence Man Jorge and his parter are awesome and work hard. I have Been rat free for about a month now thanks to them trying everything method they could to stop them from getting in. The new manager also has done an extensive project with pest control to rid us of the pest that were in the hills surrounding our apartments. A Good dedicated manager is what we’ve need around here, so thumbs up to the management and new staff!!! Your hard work isn’t going unnoticed 👍🏾
The management here is positively horrendous!! Ask not what your management team can do for you, rather... what can they take away next. The leasing lady is the worse! Condescending, belittling, you name it. She really gives zero cares about you, your situation or needs as a human being. Just on a power trip. And yes, my rent is paid on time.So, lets first start with parking. No visitors allowed. If you live in the front of the property you may not care, but if not? Be prepared to have all guests walk at least half a mile to visit you. Babysitter need to park close because you have a very sick child? Absolutely not! After all, thats what 911 is for, right? Oh yeah.. if you park on the street, which is the only place, youll get a ticket. Mind you, these are low income apartments. Not sure if you can afford the ancillary charges youll rack up. Oh, and they tow 24-7. In fact, the tow company and management are all on board with illegal, predatory towing. Makes you wonder if someone is lining their pockets with kick backs, huh? If you are towed, and question the company will send some tatted thugs to threaten and intimidate you.Storage. Well, I had a small area to put extra stuff, but after my rent increase of over $70/mo, they are taking that away. Guess low income residents dont deserve what their contract outlines as part of your rent. Again, management does not care, its not their problem and if you complain about anything... you will pay a price, promise!!Safety... again, not their problem. It took over 6 months to get the pool lights fixed. Glad no kids drowned... no one would know until morning. Yes, management was aware. Again, they did not care. After all, do low income people matter? Probably not. One less person in need, huh? Numerous lights are still out and the place is full of interesting individuals looking in car windows at night or hanging out in corners, or stealing laundry. If you mention these things, the leasing lady plays dumb. Even though you know your neighbors have complained, she will tell you that she has never heard of anything happening. Where I come from, that called lying. But again, THEY DO NOT CARE!!Are you a smoker with kids?? (I do not smoke, but many do) Well, todays uplifting message from management is that you can smoke in your apartment or in your car. We dont give 2 sh#$* about your childrens health or safety!! Have a guest that smokes? In your apartment or, they can walk minimum half a mile to their car, thats probably been ticketed to smoke inside it only!! Sounds a lot like a fascist management team, huh? Yeah, I agree.Residents: in return for you struggling financially and qualifying to live on this tax credit property, let it be because of a disability or that youre a single parent, whatever your circumstances may be, please be willing to completely and utterly submit to our will, be treated like low class steerage, probably discriminated against a few times and have zero rights. (I should write logos for a living.)And please, upper management, dont insult me with a link to an email starting with reputation@... if you cared about your reputation, you would not allow the lady whose name starts with an A to continue to treat residents in such a despicable manner. (Yes, I know that if I name her you can have this post removed). You would also make this a decent place to live, where residents are treated with respect.*side note, if you are able to get in a position where A will fraternize with you, possibly spend the night in your apartment a few times, she will turn a blind eye and allow you to do whatever.
Came in to apply they informed the list was closed but they extremely informative and overly friendly. I even went in there after tenants were complaining about the policies they were enforcing. I watched them handle the tenants with nothing but professionalism and couldn’t have been more impressed. I will definitely be putting my name on the list to be able to live here soon!
I am a current tenant at this location. i loved iving here till we got new management we were in the process of transferring into a bigger apt because my family grew. everything was going great untill Ana came in and didnt do nothing to help us transfer. both Ana and Cassandra were rude with the paper work we turned in that was incorrect information. 2months ago i received a message from cassandra asking me to please let my family and Friends know to write her a review so she can stack her points. and by the looks of the reviews around end of april early may i wasnt the only one from the apartments she told, plus i have my screen shot. we been good tenants out of the 2years we have been living here never had an issue with anybody here so i hope something can be done because it isnt fair that now we have 90 days to move out.
I been living here for 2yrs....we been asking to move to a bigger place for over 5months now and everything was going good till we got new management. They kept giving us the run around now that we finally started the paper work they want to say we over qualify which is not true we showed prove of income and no where near.. back in may I had the landlord message me on fb saying to go please give her a good review and I have the screenshots to prove it. So I hope something can be done because Im not the first person they did this too since the new lady ana started.
I worked here for about 2 months, my name is Armando. Laura Pampers is very rude to people. I couldnt believe how she would talk about her own residents there. She denied a few prospects application while I was there and the reason wasnt a legitimate reason. Because she didnt like them or because things werent done on her schedule.. ( she plays softball everyday, so everyday the office would close early ) ..... Oh yeah . She under investigation with the riverside housing authority. ... I belive a friend of hers worked with the riverside housing authority got fired due to being affiliated with her... Well she fired me and hired him... Oh well Im better of now. But be careful
I just wanted to say something nice about the team here, they had a cute little Halloween party in the Community Center. I was very disappointed that more people did not show up. They had games and prizes. I won a prize for one of the kids in my family. I hear people complain all the time about them not doing anything for us and when they did the people that complain didnt even go. Maybe the event they have next month will have more people that show up. I had fun!
Searching for an apartment in my opinion is one of the most stressful things you can do. Sometimes it feels like Id rather get a root canal. I stopped by Las Colinas this morning. Even though they currently dont have any vacant units they made me feel at home, and took away the stress of apartment shopping. They even recommended a nearby apartment complex. Thats ok. With there service Id rather wait till the year have a vacancy... and the manager Kathy.... Lordy Lordy is she a looker.
A friend of mine lives in these apartments and they are infested with rats and mice. What blows my mind is they put a new sign out front, new mailboxes, new gate motor (when the gate stays broke anyways) when the number one issue should be getting rid of the rats. My friend is embarrassed to have guests at his home because of this issue. It’s disgusting! All the money this complex makes and people are forced to live in these conditions. Do NOT move Here!!! It’s suck cause it’s a nice spacious place, he says management is great but it’s not worth it
Im so happy right now I can pass out 😂 .I just moved from an apartment building in Long Beach CA and boy oh boy the ladies in the office was SO UNPLEASANT.. I CAME TO Las Colinas and these LADIES is everything.. Such great Customer service and made me feel like home .from the Assistant manager to the Manager to the maintenance guys..Im SUPER SUPER EXCITED 🤩 THANK YOU LADIES AND GENTS YALL ROCK
Parking here is a nightmare!! If you have more than one vehicle, finding an extra spot is a nightmare! And if you park anywhere thats an assigned spot thats not yours, they tow your car with no warning! Even if youre only parked there for a short amount of time. Even the parking out on the street is always full. So I dont understand where youre supposed to park if all the spots are taken? When I get off work I dont want to be driving around stressing out wondering where Im supposed to park.
This landlord trying to kick me and my family out because a guest is here and she suspect me to find him a place in 3 days and it going to take time to find him a place because what going on in the world I said my dad had to come all the way down here from San Francisco 5 hours to drive to come get him theres no talking to this landlord she been harassing me
Im a tenant here and i love it here..the office staff is awsome.kathy and adrienne are really nice and professional..maintenance requests are always done in a timely manner..JORGE is awesome .he gets the job done the right way. thanks for makeing this a great place to call home..
It was fantastic there because when I went to create ww7 there the hole was big enough so it didnt over flow...honestly I didnt mind when it did cus it was like my own personal water park with floating chocolate and lemonade but then them plumber comes to ruin the fun but other than that it was cool
Its the same thing every month. we drop off a rent check on the 1st or 2nd. around the 5th when we notice our check still hasnt been deposited so i call the office. we r told kassandra is at the bank. or thta kassandra was at the bank yesterday. or kassandra was at the bank this morning. or that kassandra went to the bank 5 times last week. yet our check isnt deposited till the 9th this month , , , a few months ago it was the 12th , , , earlier this year it was the 14th one month. yet kassandra is always at the bank. hmm , , , im starting to think at the bank is code word for shes off screwing around. hopefully someone checks the deposits to see im right.

2019-10-08I moved to Las Colinas recently and have loved our time here so far. The amenities at the complex are both clean and very convenient and include gated parking, four laundry rooms with plenty of machines, two swimming pools and a community center. And getting to and going from the property is super easy because there are two major freeways nearby.Our one-bedroom apartment was very clean when we moved in and only had a minor maintenance issue which was resolved quickly.The best part of Las Colinas though, is the management team, hands down. Monica and Adriene are always approachable and accommodating. The maintenance issues that we let them know about were fixed in a timely manner.

2019-10-23I only gave four stars because of the owners. The management team is amazing they are always courteous and friendly and attentive when I call the office. The only issue I have is that my fence has been falling down for over a year and the owners will not fork over the money to get it fixed. Those poor maintenance guys should not have to keep fixing it month after month. I understand we have lower rent but still doesnt excuse the owners not putting any money into the property. Amazing job ladies! Owners you need to get a little better.

2019-03-04I had a wonderful experience from the first step onto this property. Lourdes is wonderful. She is knowledgeable, happy, pleasant and charming. She listened to my every question and request. The property is well maintained, they give advance warning to any construction and upgrades and are constantly available when we need them.Like

2019-10-28I have been here for a couple years now and I have never seen someone take as much pride in their work as the new cleaner they have now. The laundry rooms have never looked so clean. She is the first person I have seen make an effort. I live in the way back and I have never seen someone come back here the way she does. I appreciate the way she takes care of the property.

2020-01-07I have family that lives here and I was visiting one day and went into the office and saw all the presents they had for all the kids at the apartments, I have never seen any other complex do that. It was also sad to see that none of the parents bothered to take their kids in and let the kids get presents. They are definitely taking those office ladies for granted. If I could put my name on the waiting list I would.

2019-09-30Really well maintained complex, pool area and laundry facility always clean. Both the apartment management and maintenance staff are helpful and friendly. I love the location of the apartment, very close to the Riverside Metrolink ( I work in downtown Los Angeles), and a short drive to downtown Riverside. Would definitely recommend these apartments!

She is helpful and patient..she cares about the community and is understanding.. The apartments are extremely spacious and affordable.... I WOULDNT change the management team for the world!!! They are personable individuals and a joy to be around!

2019-10-11My daughter and I lived here three years back, then decided to move out of state . We recently came back to California and looked into las Colinas again since it was familiar. First I’d like to point out that the management here has changed for the better, they were very attentive, fast to reply and a pleasure to communicate with. They’ve made renovations to the place and the price is well worth it. My daughter and I can not enjoy the California again in a place that cares about their tenants needs. Thank you las colinas management for all your help!

2019-03-04Very professional management team! I called the leasing office and spoke with Adriane. She was very friendly and helpful about information regarding the application process. The manager, Kathy was just as friendly and welcoming doing a walk through of the complex and apartments. Very promising location.
