After 20 years living in Burbank, I finally tried Larrys. My wife loves there breakfast burritos. Today I went simple, ordering 2 mustard/relish dogs. They were awesome! The hot dogs had that satisfying snap when you bit into the casing. The bun was just right, not too much bread. This is now my go to hot dog place. I also will be back to try the sandwiches.
The burger and fries reminded me of my childhood.Its the subtle things, like just the right amount of mustard, and barely-seasoned french fries.Im only an infrequent visitor to Southern California, so maybe there are many places like this, but I was very, very happy with my meal at Larrys.
Been waiting a while to try this place. They have several different hot dog choices and its challenging to just pick one. They were fairly busy when we arrived around 4pm on a Saturday. Staff was working quick and diligently; we lucked out and got a table and food was served in a timely matter despite them being busy. The only negative is the location. Its located in a small plaza with a lot of other food places so its high traffic area.
The food was good. The service was great and the prices were appropriate. We will visit again.
Great collection of fun topping hot dogs. In particularly the Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Deliciously spicy and filling.
We had lunch here today & it was excellent! We love hotdogs that SNAP! Mustard dogs & chili dogs & fries! Everything was served up hot, fresh & full of delicious flavors. And the price was so reasonable!!! Heading home to Fresno but we promise we will definitely return!

First time here and it wont be my last. Friendly service and really good food. Im looking forward to working my way through the whole menu. For today, I had a Louisiana hot link with mustard and sauerkraut and a bottle of Smartwater. It was an amazingly good sausage, with a terrific snap when you bit into it, it wasnt terribly spicy but it was very tasty. Nice soft bun, tasty sauerkraut, and good ol yellow mustard. It was a terrific sandwich. Looking forward to my next visit!

The breakfast burritos are scrumptious! They are so good that they make a regular appearance at my job - Friday morning treats on the regular. The only other item Ive had were the loaded tater tots and... You just cant go wrong. Delicious, Ill need to try the other items on the menu.

Been driving past this business for years and finally stopped to check it out. While I am not a fan of chili dogs, I found a menu item (philly cheese sandwich) to my liking. Considering how long this business has been there, they must be doing something right.

So I come to Larrys religiously every week. I love me some breakfast burritos & this place has by far exceeded my expectations.This review is way past due but better late than never.The staff is always so nice. We go here so often they know who we are alreadyThe food, the service its all great.They have a pretty decent parking area so its easy to get in and get out.They have a big patio seating area but it does get packed here.If you dont want to wait in line, I recommend ordering over the phone ahead of time. Usually never have to wait in line.Im yet to try the hot dogs, I mostly come here for my breakfast burritos because I love them so much but I wouldnt doubt anything else on the menu is less than great.Prices are good, cant complain there.Overall , this is definitely one of those hole in the wall places you want to try!

Coworker recommend so went for some breakfast burritos today 7-17-21.These burritos were the worst. I dont know if they used old oil--- because it was the almost 12 in the afternoon.They should not have sold me those burritos if they knew what they were making them with. Im really upset for my 3 year old ate some.
Great hot dogs and breakfast burritos! Thus place schools pinks in Hollywood! I am going to add on the pounds by trying more items here! The crouching tiger hidden dragon is bomb and spicy! The polish dog with onion rings is also great if youre not into spicy foods. Chili is definitely better than Tommys! Plus they have good old school sodas to wash your meal down with!

Let me start with what I liked about Larrys Chili Dog. I ordered a cheeseburger and it was absolutely delicious, probably one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. The location is easily missed and I am glad that I found this place.What I didnt like. The wait was long (they have signs posted saying so), there was two holes in the ceiling, a large mural was barely hanging on looking as if it was going to fall over any second. I had ordered fries and they were forgotten about. I received them 20 minutes after I finished my burger. The tables were also not cleaned up. There was trash and crumbs over two tables the entire time I was there, which was about am hour.I will return, but I think next time I will call the order in and pick it up.
Great food and lots of variations on hot dogs and when you get ahankerin, this is the place. They have burgers, salads and many other good things. They are cordial, polite and the manager even brought out my order to the car. Great during the health restrictions. And they are always busy.

I had been wanting to visit Larry’s Chili Dog as it has been around since 1953! I had a breakfast sandwich and the pastrami dog and they were both unbelievable! Prices are fantastic here as well! Very fair!It’s not the best food health wise, so I wouldn’t visit everyday (though there are tons of everyday regulars) but if you want this kind of thing, they’re delicious!It is a stand, but they have plenty of covered seating. It’s a good, comfortable set up. I need to drive by when the fabulous neon sign is on! Check them out!

Great place for chilli dogs, fries, and anything else you want to put chili on. Something you might not expect though, they make an excellent breakfast burrito. Its got all the right amount of cheese, bacon, sausage, egg, and salsa. The best part are the crispy hash browns, so good Im going to have to grab one tomorrow morning.They recently opened up some inside seating so thats great. The people are friendly and always low key, one of the best places in Burbank.
My husband loves this place so we go every so often. Its great old fashioned burger chilli stand. Everythings good here. He orders chilli dogs and onion rings, I usually get pastrami burger and regular fries. Always fresh and delicious

This is an amazing local burger/hot dog joint! Their food is always fresh and made to order, and it is AMAZING!!! My favourite Hot Dog there is the Chicago dog, but then the Hawaiian and New stork dog are a close second and third. This place has been around for a very long time, and i suggest you come buy and grab some food!
Forget corner cottage this is the real breakfast burrito spot in burbank!! The breakfast burrito is very delicious... Ive tried many around LA this one is up there with the best.. perfect hashbrowns, nice amount of egg, sausage / bacon and cheese with some green salsa that gives it a great spice kick.. also the potato to egg/meat ratio is perfect not overfilled with potato like most places... well done!!.. Great hole in the wall type hotdog/burger diner also with a great breakfast burrito. Head and shoulders above the nearby Chilli Johns. My daughter loves the milkshakes but you could also go next door to Sliders for a ice cream sandwich dessert.

Simply stated, these are the best chili burgers you will find in the San Fernando Valley. I am including Carneys in this lot, which I love too. But the owner, John, just knows how to make the best chili burgers hands down. The restaurant, which used to be outdoors only, has recently added a roomy indoor area with booths and Americana type decor. This eatery makes for the perfect location to enjoy a respite from your busy Burbank day. Just sit down, have a great burger, hot dog, fries and a cold soda, and feel the joy of life that is sunny Southern California. John and his staff will feed you good!
Kinda underwhelmed. Place got talked up a bunch, but breakfast burrito was just really greasy without much flavor, and the vibrant color of the relish definitely put me off when it came to trying a hot dog.Service was very friendly however. Definitely possible I just caught an off day.
Larrys is great. First fell in love with the breakfast burrito, then the Chicago style hot dogs. It is a real family business and everyone that works there are just great. Consider myself lucky to live in the area to be able to frequent regularly.

I pretty frequently go to Larrys and I have not once been disappointed with the food or the service. Theyve got the best, simplest chocolate shakes in Burbank as well as the best fries. The chili cheese dogs always hit the spot, too.
So not happy with this place. Tried calling in my take-out order several times and no one answered. When I arrived, the two employees were standing outside people watching. The food was mediocre. The bacon tasted like it was made the day before. The buns were really dry and the place smelled like the deep fryer oil was old. I was only there for a few minutes and my clothes smelled like Id been working in a kitchen for 10 hours. No thanks...never again.
Have only come here for the breakfast burritos, would recommend. Outdoor seating and clearly marked spacing for social distancing while waiting in line. Parking is street with 2-3 spaces in the back.

Came to Larrys today went to Costco nearby and was in the mood for a breakfast burrito a quick search shows Larrys and off I went.Ordered a breakfast burrito with chili inside. Best burrito in the North Hollywood/Burbank area by far. Larrys was busy with a packed patio and a light drizzle of rain. Burrito took about 25 minutes to come out but it was worth it.Usually great breakfast burrito spots always have an issue intermittently non seasoned eggs, raw undercooked potatos, soggy bacon.Larrys came out the jump with crisp bacon, seasoned eggs, crisp and fluffy hashbrown, tasty sausages by itself the bite was solid. Then the next bite had chili and it took it to the next level.
If you are looking for the best chili dog, then look no further. Larrys has the best chili dog in LA hands down. I have not had anything here I did not love. If you are an early morning person have no fears, their breakfast burrito was rated the best in Los Angeles by LA Weekly. I love this place!

I love these intimate eateries. They have a few benches, great tasty plates... But smiles are non existent here. Like ordering food or asking for something is the biggest hasle. Smile, ask how can I help you and take my money. Shouldnt be that hard. Great food tarnished by attitude.

These guys Chilli Cheese dogs are some best chilli dogs the LA County has to offer! Great little Jewel and find, and the owner is a down to earth guy. Just added literally a cool air conditioning indoor place to seat inside with a TV to enjoy your meal if you dont want to seat outside. Prices are reasonable and their dogs pop when bite into them ,they are just delicious!
First time there. After waiting for 35 minutes for hotdogs, .they could have been good but they were cold, the chili on top was cold, so the cheese on top wasnt melted. For me, not worth the time or money. Just an overpriced cold hot dog!

Napkins must be a rare commodity here. Asked for one to wipe off my table, was told, oh. Ill do it when I bring your food out. So I guess i was supposed to sit at a dirty table for 10 min while waiting. Found a tissue in my purse to wipe table...food came out 10 minutes later, with one thin napkin and the server made.no effort to clean table. I had to ask for another napkin....chili dogs and one small thin napkin? None available on any of the tables. Then I needed a fork. Had to go stand back in line for a fork. Food was fine, but service is terrible.

This place serves burgers, hot dogs, and sandwiches, and each are excellent. The staff is friendly, and the French fries are great. Dining is outdoors only, but the patio is nice nonetheless.
Food is good and fresh but agonizingly slow. Love the fries and polish dogs personally. Lunch time is the worst, if you can get there at opening or after the rush its a bit better but still long wait.

A great chili cheese hot dog -- tasty with just the right amount of snap. No water logged hotdogs here! Fries are ok. Can get busy but food comes out reasonably fast. Not much patio seating, but it works.

First time visitors and the polish and hot dog we had with tator tots was very good. We got everything we asked for. Tater tots were done to perfection. Soda syrup was off. We would definitely go again.

The chillie dog and the works dog are many favorite! This place is one of the local hidden spots that has a big following of people mostly locals who frequent the place. Patio sitting only or take to go. It can get busy during lunch hours so be aware hour order might not come out as fast as you would want it to for your lunch break. Call ahead thats why I always do when Im short on time.

Unassuming. Very good. Stick to the dogs. They are snappy and crunch in your mouth. Go for the works including chili. The fries are average, just freezer stuff. But the dogs are heaven.

2021-10-25Local favorite, the food is well priced and very good flavors. You can also order online without a lot of rigmarole and get your food within a decent time. I had the breakfast bacon and egg sandwich very good. Everything was crisp and fresh. Highly recommend Larry’s.

2021-10-29Good hot dog. Chili isnt too overpowering. Fries tasted like an old batch when I came but still good. Nice portion size of fries for a small.Chili cheese dog and a small fry is about $8 so its a good deal!

2022-03-14Been here twice after my morning walk. Walking distance from my place. I like their breakfast Burrito. Place is small but nice and clean. People r friendly. The guy served me very nice guy, not sure if his d owner though. I will recommend this place for d people whose looking to get a quick bite before going to work. Affordable meal. . 👍

2022-06-11Best chili dogs in Burbank. Also best cheeseburger! Growing up in the Valley, the Wiener Factory in Sherman Oaks was the best chili dog ever. But Larrys is now the go to when I get in the mood.

2022-02-13My first time coming here. I ordered a large chili cheese fries and a cheese burger. The fries were awesome but the burger very disappointed 😞. I was expecting a burger based on the ratings to be as close or better then Jimmys, or Tommys, or close to those mom and pops charbroiled burgers 🍔 joint but the taste just wasnt there so this is the reason why I gave them a 3 stars because the chili fries saved the day. Otherwise with the burger itself I would have given a 1 star, and for the chili cheese fries alone a 5 stars.

2022-02-21Easily the best breakfast burrito in Burbank. The egg, potato, meat and cheese ratio is perfect (too much potato is the downfall of that other, more famous Burbank breakfast burrito spot). Salsa is also A+ and they put it in the burrito as the default which for me is the best way to apply salsa to a burrito. Recently started to swap out the hash browns for tater tots and added their chili. These moves managed to improve upon perfection.
