We walked in was greeted by a very nice lady. I asked her a question if they keep all records and she said yes. That was all I needed. She looked us up and found what we bought before and I said that is exactly what we want! We drew up the papers and put a deposit down all within a half hour. I was a very happy person!! Thank you La-z-Boy. Now if it could ship sooner I would say we made the right choice going back and buying from La-Z-Boy
We are extremely disappointed with the customer service at this Lazy Boy location. My grandmother recently broke her back and needs a supportive recliner, so we went in one day this week and found a beautiful chair that would be perfect for her. We were given a price and told it would be on sale when we were ready to purchase it. Excited, we returned the next day and found that the price of the chair had gone up by a couple hundred dollars- we were also told that salesperson quoted us an incorrect sale. We were given no apology or any explanation from the salesperson about what we were told previously. They would not honor their word and we were not treated with respect. I cannot speak for the entire staff, but the salespeople we worked with are unreliable and lack integrity.
This review is on customer service and timing, not related to item quality —In my experience, there’s a great lack of communication and general customer service.I placed a 5 piece bedroom set order in Dec. 2020, which had an ETA of mid February 2021. At that time, I signed their required paperwork which stated that there may be up to certain weeks delay (about 18) due to Covid.It was mid February when I called to check on my delivery date and was notified that my order was not ready and was expected to arrive in late May. Why didn’t anyone update me before?! According to my paperwork, my order shouldn’t have passed a delivery date of April. I talked to the manager to find out what was going on and one of his first comments was that I had received a big discount. I said that even if I had received the items for free, I needed to have them by a certain date because I was in a new home with no furniture. I think his comment was wrong, as it could have so many implications.May came around and again, I’m the one calling to get an update. After a new ETA date, there was a few more days delay but we finally got a delivery date (although one item would not be delivered yet). Upon delivery, there was a big mismatch between the color of the headboard piece and the two nightstands. I refused the headboard and have not been given a solution to that issue. I’ve emailed and called a few times, but no update yet other than they’re trying to figure it out.Getting a new bedroom set shouldn’t be so complicated. Hopefully this review helps others be very patient and willing to work extra if they’re still interested in ordering from this place.
Well unfortunately La Z Boy left us more than disappointed! Bottom line is I wouldnt purchase anything from this company! Go elsewhere and save yourself the headache. I will be reporting them to the State of CA Consumer Affairs, BBB, as well as stopping payment on our credit card for failure to follow through with their end of the contract and if they press, I will gladly see them in court!On 01/16/21, my wife and I spent hours looking for furniture for our new home in Idaho. When we finally chose what we wanted, Nancy Tran, the store manger said she confirmed with La Z Boy that they would do a drop shipment to Idaho and that the furniture would arrive in late June or early July. We figured we could manage a few weeks without furniture. This is the only reason we purchased the furniture in CA and not Idaho.On 04/17/2, I contacted the store and spoke with the new manger, Brian, to inquire on how things were going. Brian informed me that the couches are delayed until at least September and they would not be drop shipped. It was hard to process at first so I called Nancy, the previous manager who is now at the Pleasanton store. Nancy informed me that there was a delay on getting the fabric we wanted and they were unable to do anything and she also confirmed that the drop shipment would not happen and that it was the corporate office who made the call.Both Nancy and Brian said they would make some calls and see what they could do.On 04/22/21, I called them around noon since neither of them reached out to me. Brian told me that he hasnt heard anything yet and that he would let me know when he does. Mind you, we move in early June.I then called Nancy and she told me that she heard back and that I was not able to cancel the order nor would they drop ship it.Again, I would go anywhere but La Z Boy. Sure they have nice products but they certainly dont keep their word.I am disabled and have no means of moving couches from CA to Idaho nor am I physically capable of moving them. Again had they told me this upfront we would have never made the purchase with the CA store.I will be forwarding a similar version of this to your corporate office as well as mailing a hard copy to the CEO.Please do the right thing and cancel my order as this was your error and not ours.
Sunita was very knowledgeable and was able to assess our needs and guide us to the right recliners. She also was very clear about the wait time right now due to COVID if we wanted to special order materials vs what would be in-stock in May. We hope the chair we get delivered in a month meets our expectations.
We had a very pleasant experience. The Sales Associate was very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs; but was not pushy at all.We completef our purchase by adding an area rug and runner to pull everything together.We left very satisfied knowing we’ll be getting quality furniture made in the USA. We’ll definitely come back for any future needs.
We were shopping for living room furniture and found the items at La-Z-Boy are all very functional, especially the power recliners, and the armchairs, loveseats, sofas, and sectionals all feel good quality. But the selection is unimaginative and the service is uninspiring. If you want an individual seat there is a fair amount of choice, but dont expect to find any bargains. We didnt end up buying anything from La-Z-Boy, but if they had a really good sale (everything was supposedly 30% off when we visited, but it felt like full price) then we would go back.
We had a really good experience at this store. If I am not wrong Sumita is the name of the person who helped me. She was great to us, very helpful and really showed she cares on helping us out. No pressure on buying the furniture on the same day. So on next day we came! Great options here.
When I was looking to buy a new recliner for my home I did some searching before visiting a couple stores. Initially seeing the negative reviews did make me think twice however I went to the store anyway and I am sooo happy I did! I was pleasantly surprised with the whole experience from the very start to the delivery. Norma was our sales lady and she was outstanding! Probably the nicest sales person Ive even encountered. She was super sweet, down to earth, and didnt pressure us at all to buy or close the sale. It was refreshing & nice!The delivery went very smooth too. Our window for delivery was 8-11am on a Saturday and they showed up at 8:25am. The delivery guys really went above and beyond!! They even asked if we had felt pads to go under the feet of the new furniture they delivered to us. We didnt even think of that but had a bunch of those felt feet things in our garage. That I thought was the cherry on top. They thought of everything and it did not go unnoticed. Thank you so much for making this a great buying experience!! We will definitely be back when we need more furniture! :)
Sunita was great. Extremely helpful with all our different questions and was able to get a few different pricings and customizations for us, until we found the right one. She was there whenever we needed her, without hurrying us into a decision. She also made sure that our order numbers and colors were correct by checking everything with us before finalizing the order. Would definitely return for future needs.
I was treated with respect and compassion. I wasnt pressured into make a decision and actually had a great time! I found what I wanted and sat on quite a few sofas and chairs, and am now waiting for my new sofa and chair to be delivered in 6-8 weeks. I would highly recommend this store.
Dana welcomed us into the store and after asking a few questions she was able to show us the chair we had in mind. Dana made our experience positive and she is well versed about La-Z-Boy furniture. We will continue to shop with her when we are looking for our furniture needs
Last year 2017, after shopping at numerous furniture stores I went to the Lazy Boy store on Stevens Creek. The sales support was excellent and not rushed. After purchasing a recliner and a sofa I told Erick that I was so impressed with the service and products that if I ever need more furniture I would start my search at Lazy Boy. Forward to January of 2018 I needed an additional sofa and recliner for a separate room. This time I was helped by Maria and got the same assistance and attention to detail. My recommendation is that if you need quality furnishings start your search at the Stevens Creek Lazy Boy and you may never have to go anywhere else!
The store itself is full of natural light, well laid out and easy to navigate. Pleasantly surprised at the range of selection. Our sales rep was clearly new, but I was impressed how others stepped in when he didn’t have an answer at hand. There was no pressure, just information. Hopefully delivery and final product will live up to in store experience!
I love La-Z-Boy chairs, all of them. Due to the fire we have to replace two of our La-Z-Boy recliners. I went to their store a couple of times to look and sit in them. I want the James with heat and massage. It was heaven. I tried the electric cervical and lumbar support recliners too. I know Ill be happy with any recliner I get from them. The sales woman who helped me had the patience of a saint.
It’s quite interesting how the sales people and in particularly the store manager of this store had no problem when I was in the their store looking to buy one of their overpriced chairs for my wife. At the time there..around 2 hours of choosing and testing different styles of chairs etc... there was never a question, not even a mention about me not having a mask... now that my wife placed and order for the chair she wants... basically now that they have my $$$$ and I go back with my wife to pick the fabric for the chair... they tell me about having to have a mask.. interesting how this works...I swear this is the last time I’m buying for this company again.... made in America is the most important thing for me As far as buying things..to help us get as back on track but I guess America is no longer free... most have become the Sheep zombies That every American should fight the to stop the destruction of this country but instead you have brainwashed people like this.
Ive been a La-Z-Boy fan for decades, as no other company makes recliner sofas with the level of quality and comfort that La-Z-Boy offers.The new Stevens Creek store (moved from Santa Clara) has a beautiful layout, and our salesperson (Norma) was a delight to work with.I was also impressed that the store manager (Erick) recognized my old, discontinued model. He used his knowledge to suggest exactly the right new model for me.
I came in expecting to simply browse around by myself, but I was helped by Alex who was just the nicest! His manager Nancy (and also store manager) came by to add additional help, and I found the perfect couch! Totally unexpected but they were both extremely helpful! Great place, and service all around.
It was my first time buying furniture at LayZBoy. I went to their store on Stevens Creek and I was helped by Sunita, a very nice lady that knows well her stuff. They had a sale going on and I got 20% off on the pieces I purchased for my living room. I also bought some items from the floor in good condition with a very good discount.I will recommend this store to my friends.
Sunita was fabulous. She listened to what I needed, we looked at several options till we found the one that bet fit our needs. Sunita walked me through all the warranties, charges and set up the delivery and time that worked with my schedule.She even didnt mind having the selections go through the twelve-year old comfort test.Thank you Sunita for helping me find my perfect couch and making it easy and seamless.Kathleen
I’m surprised some guest have had a good experience! Well, let me tell another story! We purchased a recliner, just 2 years ago! We had it repaired within 1 year, which was last year, well, here’s the icing on the cake, both arms are breaking away from the frame. Each time we had to pay for a technician to come out, take pictures, order the parts, come back. Each time, we need time off from work. This recliner is over $1000.00, and a LEMON‼️Word of advise: DON’T PURCHASE A LAZY BOY‼️
Furniture is very comfortable, well made and fairly priced. Beware of very pushy sales people. Im happy with the purchase except for their delivery service which is extremely overpriced, the drivers dont speak English, their dispatch operator is rude, and they damaged my door frame with the feet of my couch as they brought it in my house...
First off, the chairs are great.When we went to look, Jessica was pleasant, attentive, and helpful though admittedly new. We decided to buy shortly before closing. To expedite the sale and explicitly get out the door, Melissa took over. Melissa was rude to us and rude to Jessica in checking us out. We were told wed be called on Monday with the delivery window for Tuesday.After Tuesdays delivery window came and went I called for information. The gentleman I spoke with was able to quickly inform me that delivery had been delayed an hour and a half (he was mistaken). I asked why I had not received a call about it he explained he didnt know; I had inadvertently called the Blossom Hill store.I called the correct number for the San Jose store to see why I hadnt received a call about the delay. The girl I spoke with hung up on me trying to put me on hold so she could talk to the shipping manager. She recognized me when I called back and this time just put the phone down. After a few minutes she returned and informed me that the delivery was behind with two stops ahead of mine. She said Id receive a call with a time estimate from the delivery manager. I did not.I called 10 minutes before store closing and was told they didnt know where the delivery was and didnt know how to get ahold of the delivery guys. 10 minutes later the delivery guys arrived. I guess 2-5 hours late is better than never. I hope Jessica moves to a better store before this one rubs off on her.
The customer service here is awful. Im moving out of town soon and wanted to order a lazy boy for my new place. I was greeted by a snooty old lady who basically disregarded me as a customer (even though I had wanted to know if I could order from them for my new place). I spent 45 minutes walking around trying out recliners while a group of salesmen just sat at the counter and chit chatted away with out ever offering if we needed any help. While I found a couch I really liked it made me highly reconsider whether I wanted to go with lazy boy if that was the level of service I was to expect from them.
As you have read before this, bad service in store. After being jerked around on delivery fees for items they have for sale but dont stock, I finally arranged a sale when called for a one day private sale.Of course the details of my first visit were still going to apply and they paid no attention to that and tried to sell me on what they wanted.When I made it clear what I wanted and if they can do it, I would buy... It took about 45 mins for them to agree.Paid in full, had to wait for a mutual day that worked for delivery. 2 items bought, 2 deliveries as one item wasnt in stock for 30-60 days.Item one delivery was set and I was to get a call the day before. No call. End of day I called in, to find the store did not schedule my delivery. Just plain dumped the agreed plan. They wanted to wait and deliver the item in 60 days with the 2nd item I bought. A direct violation of our agreement.Now they might deliver it the following day.If they dont, I will be in the store to get a refund and buy from another company who treats their customers better. No matter if the couch is a lessor product. Crappy service will not get a sale from me.Sunita was my salesman.

Bought a custom sectional. It was delivered with a problem and they insisted it was correct. After a couple months it gradually worsened. Ive been trying to have customer service repair it since January. They sent techs out to tell me t was fine. Finally they realized it was broken. They stood me up first time for pick up to repair. No show/ no call on date it was supposed to be delivered. I called and rescheduled a delivery date. They again no showed. Dont know what else to do at this point. Other than strongly encourage others not to use them!
Bad service, stay away! I bought a new set of sofa, they delivered a broken set, pushed me to sign delivery paper and waited for repair man, who came after THREE weeks. Sales also mentioned I could get a kit from customer service, yet when i called service, service said you should go to local store, again local store claimed they were out of inventory so go back to service, after several calls i still have not seen the kit they promised when purchase. Their return policy is only three days, but all these nightmares are happenning out of the return window, you simply could do nothing. Stay away!
We are very pleased with our experience here. We came prepared and knew what we were looking for, and then we spent hours there getting our purchase, just right. We appreciated the helpful, but yet, not pushy, Monique. Can not Wait to get our delivery! Picture forthcoming.
Lazy boy used to be the go to place , my wife and I bought a 7k sectional couch 6 years ago. one of the main used recliners is broken and they cant repair or replace , they claim that they will only honor parts but not labor and the fabric is no longer available for purchase so I cant even replace it. I WILL NEVER BUY LAZY BOY AGAIN

2022-07-30Get assisted by someone else but the middle-aged female agent there. She wasn’t too bad, but she didn’t answer my questions and wasn’t great at walking me through differences of various features. The whole visit wasn’t very informative for me.I ended up buying the recliner I first saw at this store at a different lazboy location where I was given all the details and adequate assistance to make a couple thousands dollar purchase decision.

2020-03-03***Updated 3.3.2020***3rd time I have had issues with parts breaking on recliner chairs prematurely. Last visit, the store manager Erik replaced a $7 cable that had failed. Went in last week because the plastic casing on the control unit was coming apart after 18 months which should not be happening. Explained the situation to new staff who Had to research it, called me and said for $160 we can get you a new unit. Itss a $20 part at most, but they choose to squeeze my 92 year old adopted mother still, even after shes purchased 3 chairs. On top of that, Ive referred 9 other buyers who have purchased some 15 chairs in total, youd think theyd have some compassion....new management team is not friendly, Ill report back to where Erik is working and send business over to him, forget Stevens Creek Store. Very very disappointed...give somebody $15,000 in referrals and ask for a $20 failed part and they turn their back on you.******My 90 year old adopted mothers electric recliner chair broke, stopped in, explained the situation, mom sleeps in her chair and wouldnt sleep tonight without a functional electric recliner, store manager went out of his way to sell us a spare recliner off the showroom floor, paid for it, loaded it up, delivered and Mom is well.... Everybody is happy. Lazyboy Stevens Creek has a great selection of fairly priced, quality chairs and other furniture. This is my 3rd productive experience, will come back when needed... Great products, great service. ***Update 10.5.18*** Manager Erick again has gone out of his way to help us. I cannot say enough good things about their service and ability to cut through the traditional showroom floor salesmanship. Erick is direct, to the point, helping me out with a power lifting chair, our 3rd product from Lazboy Stevens Creek. Ask for Erick, you will not be disappointed.

2019-11-09Nice shopping experience and sales staff. The lady was particularly helpful and polite in helping with questions I had. Unfortunately I didnt buy at this location due to the price but the quality of service was 5 star. I ended up getting the same sofa from San Jose LazBoy for lower. I really love my new leather sofa!.

2018-11-05We came in about 10 months ago and bought a leather recliner couch. The Oscar. It took us a while to find the right one. I was nervous about spending money on a new sofa and how it would hold up as I have read some not so flattering reviews. I have two little dogs and they just do not stay off the furniture. As you can see by the pictures our sofa is well loved and used. This sofa has held up wonderfully and my fur babies are on it every time I am and then some. Dana was our sales person and she was very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

2019-04-06More than just recliners. My wife and I found swivel chairs here that went with the entire look of our house. The service was welcoming and gave us the space we needed to make our own decisions. When we needed assistance we got it. We are very happy with our experience at LayZBoy.

2021-12-06I purchased a coffee table with an end table, in July with delivery expectations on September. It is December and no news when to deliver so far. I contacted them many times, asking and wondering about whats going on, and they tried to trick me to convince me that they told me in Nov., now its December now and no news. The fact they never called to let me know there was a delay (not once), never address my concerns in timely manner, I even went to store multiple times, and one time I reach 15 min prior to closing, one of the associate talked to me from behind the door saying the register is closed.I told her I have a question not making a purchase she still didnt open the door for me or even ask me what was the question. She just keep saying you have to come tomorrow. Prices are high and poor customer service. There factory is in North Carolina, and I had issues. They didnt tell me that because they want to make a sell, but I checked.

2021-04-13When you need new furniture, go to La-Z-Boy and ask for Lilly! The absolute best furniture shopping experience EVER!! I was hesitant to shop for something as high touch as furniture during COVID, but I couldn’t have imagined a better experience or a cleaner store. It was fantastic! With the cleanliness and selection aside, none of that would have mattered if the shopping experience wouldn’t have been as wonderful as it was. Lilly was the associate that helped us and words cannot describe how fantastic she is! Buying furniture can be such a challenge, narrowing down exactly what you want when there are so many options. Lilly asked questions to better understand what we were looking for, then based on that information, walked us through a couple of sofa options, both having all of the features we wanted, and showing us one or two more sofa options that we hadn’t looked at. She didn’t overwhelm us with options and everything she suggested was exactly what we wanted. She took this overwhelming experience and made it fun and personal! She is so knowledgeable when it comes to options and features and I couldn’t believe it when she said that it was her first day on the floor! She was more knowledgeable than some of the most experienced people that I have interacted with. Not only that but she was so kind, patient, and understanding. She genuinely cared about the experience and finding us something that we would love. Not only was she so knowledgeable with the products but she was amazing in the design studio, building out the room of our home where the furniture would go, showing us what it would look like, accurate dimensions (given that this is what we were most concerned about - things not fitting). It was so evident that she truly cared, didn’t want to overwhelm us or hurry us along and make a sale. She cared about the experience and the people and that is what it is all about! Lilly you are truly wonderful! Don’t ever change because you made our experience the best ever! Thank you for all you did to help us and Brian, thank you as well! It speaks to the type of employees that management wants representing the brand and Lilly does it beautifully! Thank you!! Now everyone, go see Lilly!

She was patient and very knowledgeable about the products. She was no pushy and made us feel very comfortable. We had a great experience.
