I got a Rosca de Reyes on Sunday Jan 5 to share at my work, I had never had issues with their bakery everything I got at the bakery was fresh, but the Rosca was a disappointment, I always brag at my work how good La Reina’s Rosca is and this time it was a fiasco, the Rosca was hard, old and dry. Waste of my money, I will never go back there. I was so disappointed, after my coworkers taste the Rosca they will never go there. Neither do I
The people that shop in the bread department act like animals. And they bump into you, cut in line and form a made up line. I almost lost my patience here. Not expecting everyone that comes here to lack basic manners. Don’t come here for bread. The people lack manners and basic common sense.
I usually visit this place on Sunday mornings to get menudo for my mom. I dont have a problem with anything here except the customer service at the bakery department. Todays example...I put the items I was buying on the counter while the cashier was helping someone before me. When she was done with that customer she turned to me, I smiled, & she just grabbed my things & started scanning away. I thought to myself Wow, having a bad day, hub?. She asked if I wanted a bag, I said yes, she bagged them as she was telling me my total, I then proceeded to pay with my debit card, and when the receipt popped up she grabbed it & without even looking at me she handed it to me as she was chit chatting (I would say flirting is what she was doing) away with some guy that was offering to buy her who knows what. I didnt even bother to say thank you. I just grabbed it from her hand and left. Someone needs a refresher on her customer service skills.
Very bad service in the food area is watching that there are customers and they do not serve you until they give them their gift and especially one who works in the kitchen who is a brunette with short black hair I do not know what is called that daily brings a bun very despot the old woman prepares everything very reluctantly
With the Virus crown killing so many people, in this place, people without face masks still do not keep the distance buying, touching the bread with the customers hand, others talking on the cellar in the bakery, I call the attention of the cashier, he sends me with the security guard, I expose the problem and medice that you still do not receive any letter that tells you that you have to do that, as a store like this puts. Disposal of a guard the health of many a guard who is not even up to date please authorities add their part or if someone has the number of the ministry of health so that balla put it here I call and I go with them.
Terrible ... I ordered a cake with a football logo and they assured me that they could grab it and the next day an hour before picking it up they abused me that I could not always grab it tube and buy another one in the northgate my son was excited about that nimode cake They throw the ball to each other and I never bother the Reyna Market, they cant say hello to the baker.

2020-09-22I really like the chicharron con carne there. The marinated meat is also good. And the sweet bread.

2021-12-06The best pan dulce in the area and the panaderia opens at 5am and the store opens at 7:30am. Parking lot is too small though and the checkout line blocks the main walkway. I mainly go there for the Mexican bread which beats Northgates tasteless slop.

2021-12-16AFTER 15 YEAR COMING HERE FROM CORONA, LA REINA MARKET IS STILL THE BEST PLACE TO GET MAZA (PREPARADA-PREPARED) FOR YOUR TAMALES!!!We just picked up 20 lbs of Maza Preparada for our Tamales and La Reina (The Queen) Market is still #1. The Ladies that helped us were very kind and friendly. They got me my Maza very quickly and accurate. Their prices are perfect. The Store Owner and front Cashiers are always Very Friendly and so Nice. It’s no wonder we make the drive from Corona to Anaheim every time we need Maza.Since you’re there buying the Maza. I highly recommend La Reina Market Tostadas and Chips, it’s their own brand. For Tostadas, Posole, Ceviche, BBQs, and any dish that requires Tostadas and Chips. They’re #1 no joke!Thank You & Feliz Navidad!!!

2020-01-24Products are overpriced and the bread is not really good (sweet and French rolls). Not a good variety of produce. Cooked meats are good but expensive.

2020-12-30The masa is great, the bread is good. The store is little but if offer what you spect to see. The meat department is great. The kitchen department is not so flavorful! To my taste. They need more flavor. To find parking lot is a nightmare.

2020-12-24I love getting my masa here for my tamales. The line was very long and it was super busy. I was able to social distance outside in line but inside the store its a bit crowded. The customer service was great tho and the employees did their best to make sure people got what they needed.
