-Decent price but beware of the “promotions” you will always end up paying a lot more and you won’t know that u til you’re sliding your card.-The showers in this location don’t work since 2010-Generally always busy, hard to find an empty machine, especially during peak hours.
Hollywood’s Hidden Gem! I wanted to get a workout in and stumbled upon this location. I was wondering why this location was so in the cut, but that made for an exceptional gym experience. Upon entering I was so amazed at the structure of the gym and the clientele. I noticed a lot of my favorite celebrities enjoying a casual workout just as I. This location has all the go to LA fitness amenities including pool, sauna, jacuzzi ,and the kids club. It’s worth a visit if you have the multi gym membership.
Be aware!!!This review was written after one year of membership with LA fitness.Sales:Dont believe anything the sales people are telling you unless its written down.1. When we signed up for the membership we only needed the one club membership and we were making sure with the salesman that we will be able to tranfer the account when we moved away,of course he said no problem and in reality when we moved and tried moving the account they forced us to get the multiclub memebership.overall expense of another 20$ a month.2. We asked if its possible to freeze the account for no extra charge or any charge at all while we were out of town, of course the salesman said there is no problem to do so,in reality when we went over our bill we saw they charged us for half of the amount, instead of 40$ a month they changed 20$.So there is no real way to freeze the account.Staff:1. Almost everytime i walk in to the gym i try and smile to the lady at the front but there are two ladies that are always giving me a hard time to come in forabsolutely no reason with theyre bad attitude.2. I went over my bill and noticed a random 5$ charge from LA fitness, and it turns out that the same bad attitude lady in the front charged me for no reason.Workout efficiancy:We usually workout in the morning, or at evening around 8-9 (Not in the rush hour)1. Its going to be impossible for you to find any weights lower than 20 pounds.2. There are 3 squats cage and in the past 4 times I went to the gym for a leg workout I wasnt able to use them, they were always occupied and when i asked if i can join or wait until they finished they said they have over an hour until they finish.I went to the reception and they said there is no time limit for the machine, and there is nothing they can do about it.3. Out of service scheduled for maintenancethese are signs you are going to see very often and for very long periods, around 4 to 6 weeks until they are repaired .4. Many times im finding myself looking for help because the machines are fully loaded with weights of 300 pounds and more.because people dont care about other people or women like me.Clean:You can see the floors are cleaned eveyday, but you dont want to get in to the womens showers, last time I went there was a homeless lady swimming on the floor and screaming on everybody.second thing I will attach a sample picture of one of the dirty machines that was in the same condition for over two monthsI usually dont like writing bad reviews but this place is just so horrible.I didnt manage to find anything good about this place. For LA fitness if you care about your customers take care of there issues!!!
One of the members named Catie (a thin blonde girl with green eyes) picked a fight with me and falsely accused me of staring at her. I later reported her for bullying because I dont let anyone walk all over me. Got beef? Lets take this where the heavy bags are and box, not bark at each other like some dogs. You coward!
Free weights, machines, cardio, pool/sauna/steam room, its all there. Helpful staff for the most part...Parking garage next door (3 hrs./1$). Be mindful of peak hours, speaking of hours I really wish they closed later on the weekend, 5pm is way too early in my opinion...
No Covid protocol enforcement. At the door the rules are clearly stated. Mask at all times, wipe down equipment. However, at least a third of everyone here has their mask down below their nose or mouth. INCULDING THE EMPLOYEES!!!Yes it is hard to workout with a mask, but you’re making the rest of us feel unsafe, and the gym may close down again because of this disregard.LAfitness, PLEASE enforce these rules. Those not wishing to comply should leave so the rest of us can work out safely abs respectfully.Additionally I’d love to wipe down before and after every use of equipment, but where are the wipes?!? There are a few hand sanitizer stations and paper towel bins, but more would be helpful and ensure everyone uses them. They claim they’ve increased the the frequency of cleaning the machines, but in my hour here I saw one person clean a closed drinking fountain 0 machine or mat cleanings.LA fitness had an entire year to prepare for people returning safely and all they’ve done is taped off some spots and added a few hand sanitizer stations.
NOTE: If you have concerns about COVID and proper protocols, know that masks are NOT enforced here. Many people remove them altogether once they get on the floor, and employees ignore it. I would have otherwise given them a higher rating. That aside, there is a convenient parking garage, though you must pay to use it (discounted with validation). There is also metered parking nearby thats free before 8 AM and after 8 PM. They have great diversity in machines and a nice swimming/hot tub area. Aside from not enforcing the mask policy, my only real gripe is that sometimes when a machine breaks it can be down for weeks or months before its fixed.
Free wifi - works most of the time. Nice staff. People leave weights EVERYWHERE - rack your weights! Its not hard! Its roomy - you can usually find a place to stretch. Theres a large pool in the middle & a long rectangular hot tub. If youre doing cardio upstairs, you can watch people swim as you sweat. You can generally find a cardio machine even during peak hours in January as long as you dont mind taking a stair climber or bike. There is a spinning room downstairs and a room for yoga/boxing/zumba.I have heard of some sketchy predatory stuff in the mens locker room -but have never had a problem in the womens.Ive seen some bugs around here - dont leave your bag on the floor if you can help it. That said, for all of the traffic this place sees the managers really do keep the place pretty clean. Go into any other LA Fitness and youll see what I mean... this ones the best of them.EDIT 8/10/22: The parking situation here is bad now due to a change in who owns the parking garage. If you get a ticket, make sure to scan it on the monitor above the machine where you pay first, itll be the difference between $12 and $1 for an hour work out. Also, DO NOT buy the Value Pass. Got mine little over a week ago and the ink on the thing is already fading. My parking sob story: I didnt understand how the value pass worked and scanned it after my ticket first time using it to exit... now its connected to the day pass and unusable. I wasted $19. Skip the parking garage if you can, its pretty terrible. Still trying to get my money back or a usable pass, little hope of this being anything but a HUGE waste of money.
This location is my go-to L.A. Fitness. The equipment is generally sanitary and functioning. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The hours work for me; the place is usually open anywhere from 6am to 9pm/11pm. Mens bathroom could use a full-time attendant. Take advantage of your membership by using the pool, jacuzzis, weights and lots of cardio machines. Parking in the adjoining lot is 35 cents for 2.5 hours. Check it out!
I will never ever go to this facility again. Although the facility itself isnt half-bad, and the equipment is up-to-date and reliable, everything else is basically horrible about this facility.A lot of the people that go to this facility are clearly gang members and Street people. My first day there, two Hispanic American men tried to start with me for no reason. Literally, they wanted to fight just because I looked up at them while they were staring at and talking mess about me the whole time. When I went up to the front desk agent and I asked her was this abnormality at her gym, she basically told me that the people there are territorial but will eventually warm up to me. I could not believe that she fixed her mouth to say such a thing.Had anything going down, and I was forced to defend myself, that entire facility would have blamed the ordeal on me. I also think that the locker rooms are very dirty and disgusting. They dont put enough Pride into actually cleaning it up let alone picking up the trash as they go throughout the day.I would not recommend anyone going to this gym if you are not prepared to put up your dukes and fight someone because they just feel like fighting. When I go to facilities, I go there to work out not to get into fistfights. The facility is #ghetto.
LA fitness is different from each other. Each of them has its own characteristics. None of them are so perfect or insufficient. For example, LA Fitness Hollywood, Vine has a hair dryer that you can easily dry your hair after using the pool, which I think is very valuable. I have not seen a hair dryer in other LA fitness. But in contrast to the senitize spray as well as paper to clean sports equipment in LA Fitness Hollywood, Vine is very little or not at all.
The weights are never reracked. Staff do nothing outside of try to sell memberships - no cleaning, no stopping people from using weights wrong, nothing. Pool is eyewateringly dirty. Clientele are what youd expect; guys screaming while doing wrist curls, using 30 dumbbells at a time, etc.2 stars because its cheap, but they get it so cheap by never cleaning.
I have very low expectations when it comes to gyms in LA. This one slightly exceeds them. Machines break down from time to time, but it’s relatively clean, bountiful street parking. People wear masks for the most part. At least two attendants cleaning and sanitizing at all times. I just wish the bros would RERACK THEIR FREAKING WEIGHTS.EDIT: have come in a few times since reopening. Lots of broken machines. Reduced hours = bigger crowds during peak times (but I get it, it’s hard to find staff right now). Lots of bros with masks around their chin. Very few sanitizing stations. It’s clear very little upkeep or updating was done during closure. I’ll probably cancel my membership and drive to PF where it’s less crowded and much, much cleaner.
This is one of my favorite LA fitness locations in LA. Several machines available large jacuzzi and the showers are not bad. If you go during the correct hours you could get a quick efficient workout. Getting parking is not a big hassle either. Parking rates have gone up a little bit from $0.25 to $1.
I went to this gym as a a guest and as soon as we got there screamed at my cousin about his membership infront of everyone instead of discussing the membership situation. And when my cousin asked about his schedule of personal trainer they made him wait while the Manager had a conversation on his phone about how drunk he got the night before and then just told him its all good not to worry about it but never gave him an answer of his schedule appointments for personal training. SUPER BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Very unprofessional. Their wait time for answering a phone call is up for 45 minutes to over an hour. It seems their managers are never there to help with any concern or questions. LA Fitness takes your money!! I canceled my membership last year during covid-19 and STILL got charged double membership fee. I have questions, I am confused! I need to speak to a manager but it seems I have to travel all the way to their gym, WAIT till a manager is either clocked in or off their lunch, just to have them TRY and fix my issues. One employee pretended he couldnt hear me over the phone just so he didnt answer my question about speaking to a manager. I know he was able to hear me since I had no connection/speaker problems as I made a phone call minutes prior.I found out my plan WAS CANCELED but it wasnt canceled by the gym I signed up originally but one miles away from the one I was signed up in. I got a voicemail saying to ask that gym about my canceled membership.... Its stressful and NOT WORTH SIGNING UP at any LA Fitness Gym.
PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE!!! First time customer/visitor, and I was excited to come in and sign up. I spoke to Marcelo on the phone and came in the same day to tour the gym and sign up. Upon my arrival Marcelo never offered me a tour of the facility, he didnt care about my fitness goals or why I was looking to join LA Fitness. He showed me one package and was very pushy for me to sign up, and began to become very rude when I was asking questions. I asked about different packages and he kept pushing one package and didnt want to show me what I was asking for regarding additional personal training sessions, as he kept saying this is the best deal. It was the worst experience, and Marcelo was rude in person, and it seemed like he was only nice on the phone to get me to come in. Avoid this place at all costs...there are nicer gyms with better customer service and upgraded equipment elsewhere. From what I could see the equipment is old, the staff isnt friendly and there is a homeless encampment right outside the building. The place would have potential if they had better management!!!
I wanted to swim today and to avoid the drama at LA Fitness El Centro Hollywood. I went to LA Fitness Alhambra on Main Street to swim. The only problem was the water has lots of chorox and the couple that wanted to make out inside the pool lane. Excuse me but want to swim not seen two that perhaps can go book a motel to do Your private business. Thanks but all was pleasant.
Gym is great and nothing much to say. The only issue is that the new parking structure sucks. It sucks because it forces the people who bought passes for the old system to throw away their old tickets and they also raised the prices. The parking machine also doesn’t work half the time and it’s now $1 for parking. Better off going to the one at Hollywood Blvd.
This region is my move-to L.A. health. The equipment is normally sanitary and functioning. The body of workers are pleasant and accommodating. The hours paintings for me; the place is normally open everywhere from 6am to 9pm/11pm. mens toilet may want to use a complete-time attendant. Take advantage of your club by using the use of the pool, jacuzzis, weights and lots of aerobic machines. Parking in the adjoining lot is 35 cents for two.5 hours. check it out!
On the up side, this is one of the cleaner gyms I’ve been a member of. However, the typical gym annoyances are still present: members not re-racking their weights, not enough 7.5-15 lb dumbbells to accommodate the popularity (the ones in the group fitness room are often locked up), and dozens of people camped out in the pool for social time. I appreciate having a sauna in the locker room that I don’t have to share with men, but it is far too cool to be truly effective (see my photo)—it should be at least 150-175 degrees Fahrenheit.
The gym was nice but Marcelo was bullying me, tried to steal my ID and Im pretty sure he threatened me. Also he was rude and didnt let me use my pass cause he made me tell him how many days I deserve not honouring the 3 day pass I had. Nice gym but in 2021 people like marcelo should not be a manager.
Pretty good gym, lots of equipment most of its old but still works. Only complaint is the locker room which is usually dirty and the free weights are all over the place. The gym is packed around 9 and 5 but so are most other gyms. Best time is early morning or around noon.
I have been a member for a very long time. I would like to make an observation, if restrooms are not clean sometimes is because I believe that, we, members need to contribute to keep them clean. I have seen housekeeping cleaning up the restrooms and just few minutes later some members will throw toilet paper on the floor or, people will walk wet from the pool or sauna directly to the restrooms or locker getting everything wet in the process. Also, I saw posting saying that this fitness center is very crowded all the time. It is during peak time, but other times you have no problem using the different weight machines. The reason for giving four stars is because the parking structure urgently needs to be steam cleaned. It is very dirty and there is a foul smell. Last, members please be polite. If you are texting, please do not monopolize the weight machines and let other members using that weight machine. Thank you so much!
First ,not enough cleaning staff, second they shutdown the womens sauna, now we have to share the unisex one, which mens they go in with underwear on, not a shorts really sucks though cause when I become a member, this gym had everything, good workout machines, separate saunas, many cleaning staff, trainers will help you, lots classes now, this gym is totally a joke.. 🙄
I been a member of this gym for three years, and I cancell my membership due to Covid reason. I canceled my membership last year early April, and I recieve a called two weeks ago saying I need to pay 40 dollars, I called the gym and I was in hold for an hour and thirty minutes on the phone and they told me they had authority to cancell my member ship only the manager/supervisor so I tried to get hold of him in person and on the phone for a week straight and everytime I was their he was quote not their... or on his lunch break.... I tried to do a schedule meeting but they didnt even let me do that either.. Terrible place where they passive aggressive you to get a subscription, but when you try to cancel they will ignore you...
Wonderful StaffI had quite a scare today as I was sure my wallet and keys were stolen from my locker at the LA Fitness on El Centro in Hollywood, but Stephanie did a wonderful job keeping calm and going through every step helping me retrace them and filing a report for her manager.I was truly impressed with her thoroughness and the fact that she didn’t make me feel stupid after I found them. And truthfully, all the staff have done a tremendous job staying upbeat and helpful each time I go.Thank you for picking great people!
Its a gym. It has the equipment you need. They got basic machines with cables. Not enough free weights, since its smaller not a lot of space compared to other gyms, so you may have to wait till someone finishes using the barbells sometimes. Not a lot of squat bars, will have to share sometimes if you want to finish your workout and you got to run. Sometimes can get a bit busy and hard to find your own room during peak hours I would say 5 to 8p. Its a little smaller than other LA Fitnesses. But Ive always had this membership for over a decade. Ill still use it because its convenient and nearby.
Based on the exaggerated reviews Ive read, this gym appears to be some sort of cease pool, which in my opinion it is not. Ive been going to this gym on and off for over a decade now. It used to be better in regard to staff and equipment, but it does have its own unique perks. I think what most people here are expecting this gym to be is some sort of health spa.It offers cheap and convenient parking for only 35¢ (unheard of in Hollywood). I only pay $20 month-to-month membership (no contracts, includes all days). No one solicits me. Majority of people are friendly and approachable. Most importantly I get to workout in peace, and the layout of the gym is my favorite in West Hollywood. If you read this and see me at the gym (usually at the squat racks), say hello and Ill show you around. :)
People complain that its busy but what gym isnt specially if you go between 5pm to 8 pm. The gym is huge and has an indoor running track, machines, and a decent area for free weights. They have classes and boxing bags.Parking is 35 cents for as long as you are in the gym. People are friendly and share machines if its too busy.No gym has perfect showers or locker room. So everyone complaining why dont you stay home and workout there.
Ive been a member for many years and I go mostly to this location because of its proximity to my house and also because of its size and choice of equipment. Definitely has everything one would need or expect... It is clean and they maintain equipment fairly well. Could be better. My only real gripe is that they did away with all plasma TVs ever since LA Fitness took over from Ballys. There was an awesome vibe before that is now gone. I have no idea why that is. Oh well
A great place to workout if you know a lot of friends that trains here. Staffs and trainers are very friendly, restrooms are always cleaned. The downside is, gym is packed during peak hours 5-9pm. Dumbbells are everywhere, some are missing and some are broken. Ive been training here for more than four years, so Id got used to it. I almost forget, why 35 cents parking? No free?
So far, I love this place. I have a trainer that I see once a week. Its clean and I love the smoothie juice store. It makes it super convenient to get your protein in within 30 mins after your workout. The juice bar isnt expensive either $5 for a smoothie compared to $9 at some other local juice places. My trainer is awesome and pushes me to do my best. 2 level gym with Tons of equipment and an indoor running track. The only issue I have is the pool and jacuzzi, its not a place where young hot men and women hangout. Its full of elderly adults who take up the entire pool room. Which isnt really that bad, its just weird. Ive found the people that workout there to be normal and the vibe is great. However, the staff seems to be uneducated and not really into fitness. Youd think that by working in a gym, you would have a passion for being healthy and fit, most of the girls just walk around in workout clothes and are overweight or seemingly not interested in fitness whatsoever. Thats kind of a bummer to go to a place whos staff isnt gung-ho about fitness. Everything else is great though! $25 a month for my bf and I.
Amazing gym and layout. Only problem is lazy staff that is on phones. Make sure the weights are back where they supposed to. Check the machines to file when they’re broken. I would love to be a manager once a week for free just to get them organised and a place that it should be. Crowd is not easiest but that doesn’t mean one should let it go to shame and mess. Where is the order. Why can’t they over see and print some signs out of what to do. And then enforce it. Like when they wouldn’t let you carry around bags. Has gotten worse the past year. Sad!
I usually really like this gym, especially the classes...But I am very disappointed after my first visit back about their response to covid and am writing this in hopes that management will see it.1.) The most they have done for covid is hang up paper signs everywhere saying stay 6 ft apart2.) They have a mask policy but at least 25% of the dingdongs there are either wearing no mask or are wearing it wrong with their nose sticking out, or take it off to breathe.3.) According to their only employee at the front desk, the new policy is to have 1 front desk person and 2 sales people who are busy selling memberships, meaning there is NOBODY to enforce the mask or glove policy. Doesnt that show their priorities lol4.) Classes: I went to a yoga class and the teacher did not have her mask on, so of course half of the students had NO MASK on in a small, un-ventilated room5.) Apparently the student limit for the small class room is 18 people (WAY too many for that small space if they actually want people 6 ft apart)6.) The classes are first come first served, which means that you have to go there, waste time and hope you can get into the class7.) They have not moved or spaced the exercise equipment in any way, so now you have to consciously try not to be at a machine next to another person, otherwise you are not distanced8.) From what I can tell they havent put in any air purifiers or any type of thing.Just saying, if they have to declare bankruptcy like 24 Hour Fitness I will be completely unsurprised, considering if you do not want to catch covid you should probably just cancel your gym membership here, at least until they straighten their sh*t out.My recommendations to management:1.) Space the machines so they are actually far apart enough2.) Have an extra staff member (Ideally a large buff guy) on deck to walk around and enforce mask and glove policy (maybe who can clean machines as well)3.) Make an appointment system for classes where you must sign up in advance4.) Honestly maybe have that for the gym in general so that people dont waste their time going there if its full5.) Maybe install air purifiers that can help lessen the humidity in the air to help the virus spread less easilyHonestly after being there today, it seems they could care less about making the gym a safe space to work out, and are just focused on their Have as many members as possible and hope they dont show up norm.
The pool is absolutely disgusting. Take note, it only smells and tastes chlorine when it contacts urine, bacteria etc. And this pool stinks! One extra star is for the cool dip. Showers are poorly maintained if at all and nothing ever works as they should. Dirty locker room and showers. No paper towels in locker room, nor hair driers. Not worth it, even though its a relatively cheaper option.
The worst fitness location ever , not suggesting anyone to visit here, they never answer the phone, never answer your emails, general manager who didnt give me his name after me asking for few times , was very rude on the phone and at the location itself . It took me forever to cancel my membership with them. Please go different La Fitness locations
Maybe some of these reviewers were going here before the renovation but I can honestly say, most of them are comparing apples to oranges. If youre only paying $30 a month, stop expecting a $120 experience. Seriously, would you rate a Holiday Inn Express with the same criteria as the Four Seasons?Ive been truly surprised at how nice this club is, given the reviews I saw before joining. Its clean, big, with wide open spaces and tons of equipment. It has a pool, which several Equinox gyms Ive belonged to on both the east and west coast cant boast. Yeah, the clientele isnt fancy, but once again...YOURE PAYING $30 A MONTH. What do you expect? There are weirdos in any gym in Hollywood, because, well, its HOLLYWOOD.In general the gym is nice, the parking is easy, and if youre actually here to work out instead of pose, theres plenty of good equipment to keep you busy. For a gym in this price range, its probably more like a 5 star, but in comparison to others, like Equinox, its a 3...so Ill go midway with 4.
I wish they would train their staff to give proper information up front. I was given the run around after i tried to cancel the 30 day trial due to a family emergency. I needed those funds to pay my father hospital bills and they refused to let me cancel. Told me they get back to me later in the day and never did.So i ended up being guilted into continuing paying $315 a month for 8 months.Dont get me wrong i love the gym. And working out. Their staff are decent people. But the information about what you will be paying (which i was under the impression Id only be paying like 180$ not 2 seperate payments equaling to be 315$)And being able to cancel in the first 30 days. On the 28 day i tried to cancel and could not get ahold of the right person was put on hold and passed around for almost 2 weeks and then was told that there was nothing they could do and that I was stuck with the bill.
Getting run down from lack of maintenance, cardio machines are old, heavy bags are falling apart, staff doesnt seem very motivated. They allow people to blast music and record video in the main gym and dont take action when you complain. Today, I found not one, but two syringes in lockers in the mens locker room. Im guessing its steroid related. Its hard to say no to two used syringes but I managed to leave them there and tell the staff. Maybe they even cleaned them up. Oh, and they charge for parking 👍
Am in town for a few weeks and needed to use a gym - this one is next to my place so seemed most convenient. The gym isnt too bad even though equipment are a bit old. The issue is the type of people that go there especially the younger patrons some negative vibes and they certainly dont know gym way of dealing with others nor the equimenpmey. I dont recommend the place unfortunately
Am I going to the same gym as the other people? I love this gym! Its not too crowded, its clean, etc. Id have to agree though, that people dont rerack their weights and its the most obnoxious thing. I usually have to compensate, after searching around the gym for usually the 7.5 - 15 lb weights, with the large, circular weights meant for the machines, and it works, but still... Anyway, Ive spoken with the manager and hes working on having someone whose job it is to rerack the weights. If that happens, Id give this gym 5 stars. Until then: 4.Also, the staff are super nice, accommodating, and friendly.
Friendly staff, cheap parking for the location, also the gym is really big, been going here since it used to be the Bally total fitness. They have come the long way after many renovations and changes. Only thing it needs is more updated, working equipment and sanitation.
If you want a gym that has all of the atmosphere of a doctors office delivering bad news, then you will absolutely love LA Fitness.Conveniently located in Central Hollywood this eclectically targeted gym has spent a fortune on shiny machines but failed to spend the tiny sums to provide the accessories that keep them up to date.Want to do a glute raise with nothing between you and the bar other than flesh? Perfect - because LA fitness dont do foam rollers.Want to do box step ups, jumps or any plyometric work in fact - why not pay $15 for a day to find out they dont even own a wooden box.Bands or bar chains for alternating resistance lifts to develop power and speed? Sorry we overlooked that while buying our 5th hand pedal machine.I count myself as a keen gym user but the exercises i do are pretty commonplace. Elevated lunges, box squats, box jumps, trx work, banded kettlebell work, even some Olympic lifts with bumper plates. These things are found in most gyms in some form now. But LA fitness have devoted more space to selling an array of wrist gloves than they do for those things.Doing pec fly on the congested benches is a no go, borrowing a kettlebell from their pt area seems like a conversation you are discouraged from having. When you see another gym user modifying (very smart I may add) your leg extension machine to do glute work, you are missing a trick.Add to this the absolute lack of music or any kind of sparkle there, I wont go again. If you want an arena of treadmills, because going outside is so dangerous, then come here. Otherwise go elsewhere.I am sure LA fitness are happy to not care what current fitness trends are, that probably isnt their target audience. And the gym is busy enough to pay for itself i would imagine. But I think if your business relies on people who are ambivalent and dont care that much then it may explain why youre getting eaten for breakfast in some territories such as the UK. No one knows what you really are about.
Members don’t wear masks or wear them incorrectly and staff do nothing to enforce mask policy. This gym cultivates an attitude of arrogance and entitlement, as members are permitted to not wear masks, leave a mess, slam weights anywhere, etc. this gym has made no effort to cultivate an environment of respect and responsibility.
I had the worst experience with LA fitness, I highly recommend not signing up for their gym, particularly if you are a girl. I was told that I had a 10 day window to cancel my membership after I tried the gym out and decided how I felt about it. The gym was filthy, there was always homeless people outside begging, I was very uncomfortable there- so on the 8th day, I went in to cancel my membership. After being given the run around with which manager would have to do it, I was finally directed to the Operations Manager who told me the membership could not be cancelled because the contract says you only have 5 days. I guess that was my mess-up on not reading the fine print of the contract close enough, but the person who signed me up told me 4 different times I had 10 days. When I brought this misunderstanding up to the operations manager, she called the sales person over named Jeff who helped me, and asked if it was true. It is no wonder this guys acting career never panned out and he is stuck working at LA fitness because the show he put on was ridiculous. It was so obvious he knew that he told me 10 days but he completely denied it. He nervously shifted in his seat and avoided eye contact with me as he said I am 99 percent sure I didnt tell you it was 10 days. On top of being completely taken advantage of by the sales staff, the OM was very rude and not accommodating at all. She was very unprofessional and acted very immature about how she handled the situation with my account issues. If I could give this gym a -3 stars, I would.
If you have OCD this is not the gym to workout in. The ladies sauna room is always out of order there are bugs (roaches) in the locker room. The staff is unfriendly. This gym needs to be shut down for Renovations asap!!! No one is knowledgeable on the run of the gym. Most staff understand English but can not comprehend English to direct you in the right direction
This is one of the most run down gyms youll see.Bathrooms and showers are poorly maintained. Water fountains are broken all the time. Swimming pool water is oftentimes murky and gross.Literally, the only thing going for this gym is its location. I wish I could go elsewhere, but the location is too convenient for me.The sales team here is also a little extra sleazy.
This gym is old compared to other lA fitness facilities and the changing rooms are dirty. the water in the swimming pool has so much chemicals that my eyes hurt for 2 days after swimming without goggles. the parking structure on the side is handy and cost 0.35 cent for 2h 30min but accepts only coins!! they charge 5dollars of you pay with cards and there is no info about these charges at the entrance so if you get in and you dont have coins you will have to pay! (this is a scam)
Out of all the local LA Fitness branches, this one is the best. Ignore all the negative reviews. Those were mainly for Ballys which used to be in this spot which was a PIT. This place has great, updated equipment, a pool and a wonderful indoor track. The only negative aspect (and this is not the gyms fault) is the huge, HUGE amount of elderly people (80+. Seriously) who treat this place like a spa. They crowd up the sauna & jacuzzi. They take up lanes in the pool, not to swim but bob up and down. And they take FOREVER on equipment. Everyone has to tolerate this for the cheap $30 a month fee.
I cant say anything about the employees at this location. I didnt have any issues with them, but the members are so stubborn. There are two hot tubs, theyre both built the same way and have the capacity to fit plenty of people. The day I went there, was in the words of Stephen A. Smith, blasphemous I sat my towel down in the corner of one of the hot tubs. I sat right under it as I was in the tub and sat beside it when I was out of it in order to catch my breath. Oh my goodness though, the elderly couldnt get over the fact that I had their favorite jet stream. The pushy people sat right on top of me. They talked about me in a negative manner in a different language. Why they just couldnt sit across from me when there were eight other jets available or even hop in the hot tub adjacent to us with twenty available jet streams?? It is beyond me. They ruined my relaxation time and deserve whatever kind of karma comes their way.
This place is very big, has pool and jacuzzi, a track for running (upstairs), a lot of machines, and a large lifting area. Their sauna isnt as hot as the one on La Cienega, but this gym is open late (closes at 10pm Saturday nights). You do have to pay (not much) for parking. If you dont have cash or coins, you have to buy 15 parking passes with a card, will allow you to park 15 times.
Heavy traffic gym. Always packed, which is a good thing. However no one racks their weights. This includes the staff and of course the patrons. I have yet to see one full weight rack with the weights in the proper locations. There are weights on the second floor that shouldnt be there as that floor is supposed to be primarily used for cardio. Some people use weights to reach the pull-up bars. Note to staff: buy a stool for the pull-up bars, or just tell those lazy gym goers to jump up to the pull-up bars instead.Called corporate to take care of the lack of club pride on 11/1/16. Its now 11/17/16 and no changes as of yet.
This location has a persistent theft problem in the locker room. My padlock was removed a year ago, fortunately nothing taken from the locker. But last week, my new padlock was removed again and this time my credit cards were stolen. Someone tried to charge $1500 at Ralphs (declined). I just read an earlier 1-star review with the same exact thing happened to someone else. I spoke to management about this...shoulder-shrug. Inside job? Bad enough that the locker room is filthy.
I have been a member at la fitness but use the other gym. Come here once and a while for the sana. I called this weekend said sana was open but then said would hopefully open on mon. I called yesterday said they were open. I came today they were closed still so I dont think Im getting truthful customer service from the front desk staff. It was just yesterday when I called and they said they were open. This gym did used too be a bit better but I prefer the other one. Also when signing up you can look at the website also too know what there rates are. I didnt think of this when I had signed up.
WiFi is spotty. Parking is less than 50 cents but it gets crowded when there is events since there is a parking company that sells parking spots. They removed the toilet seat covers papers. Treadmills get busy when crowded. Good selection of weight machines. Group classes busy during evenings but there is still space to move.
I go during the late hours or early mornings to avoid the Disneyland like atmosphere. I got this killer deal from a buddy without initiation fees so I decided to try this place out. Everything seems to be up and running well, and the employees are pretty hospitable for a chain-gym. +1 in my book.
I cant believe how racist and ridiculous the reviewers are on Google. This is a fine place. Sure it has some quirks but I prefer it to the one further west on Hollywood where the traffic is INSANE and the place is full of fembots in overpriced workout clothes. The reason this gym smells is it has more humidity due to its centralized pool - it mostly smells like chlorine to be honest. The staff are super friendly in this place also. So yeah if you dont like anyone who isnt white, is over 30 years old, or larger than a size 0, you might want to move along and find your obnoxious tribe. Sheesh.
Snakes in the grassTERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICETHEY WILL RIP YOU OFFNot only is the locker room always a disgusting mess (I heard one guy say he got a STAPH infection from that locker room) the weight room is always VERY DISORGANIZEDThe Employees are lazy to a T and have no pride in their jobs. There will always be people in the gym who dont pick up after themselves, thats usually where good employees do a sweep and make sure that weights that arent in use have been racked. However, Ive gone in at nine oclock at night, (a good two hours after rush) when there are like 10 people there and it will still take me close to 10 minutes to find a 20 pound dumbbell.I never write reviews but I have to warn you if youre reading this DO NOT GO TO LA FITNESS THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.In July of last year I joined because it was cheaper than 24 hour fitness...or so I thought. I decided to do a free personal training consultation and was convinced to try a month of personal training for free. I just had to cancel any time within 30 days. On day twenty-two of my personal training contract I decided that the quality of workout my trainers were providing was not worth the amount of money I would be paying (They mostly focused on the most basic and arbitrary of body weight exercises). However, when I went in to cancel my membership (on Day 22) they informed me that I had to cancel within 20 days and not 30 as originally stated by the salesman I first spoke to. Upon reading the VERY FINE PRINT in my contract I saw that they were right and I was now locked into a year long contract with the only out being to pay fifty percent of the remaining balance. The person who informed me about my unfortunate predicament felt bad and said he would report my situation to corporate to see if there was anything that could be done. He never got back to me after three emails.TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICEOf course I chose the cheaper option which was just to accept that I screwed up in not reading the fine print and continue using the (SO NOT WORTH IT) Personal Training sessions. It is now February and I have just booked a three month shoot in Northern California. When I called to freeze my membership they informed me that though my account was frozen I would still have to pay for Personal Training, though I was unable to use it as there were no LA Fitness facilities. I will be charged for something that I am unable to use through no fault of my own. What kind of business practice is that?BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES.If I could give less than one star I would. This is a terrible place. Dont go there.
This has the potential to be a great gym if it werent for all the meatheads that dont re-rack their weights! I worked out here two days ago for the first time and I have never seen a gym in such complete chaos as far as equipment and weights. It seems NO ONE has the common courtesy to take the effort to replace their weights in the proper place. 45 lb weights left on virtually every free weight piece of equipment, dumbbells everywhere but in the slot they belong in. It was very frustrating to work out here. When I walked in, it was like, wow, what a big facility, two levels, pool in the middle, running track overhead, but the machines and free-weights situation makes this one a loser in my book. They should raise the fees to $60 a month at this location to get rid of some of the riff-raff customers that dont give a **** about anyone else working out.
Been coming to LA fitness Ballys Holiday spa Im one of your oldie but goodies and I havent been here over 5 years what a difference the sauna is a number one NoHo LA fitness keeps breaking down DeSoto is remodeling the whole thing but they had the best sauna and steam room but this place here on Central has a variety of machines workouts you name it the best and very cool people that dont hog up the machines and are rude not at all its a bit dry for me but its worth my 3 hours haha I still cant get over that damn parking got to get rid of that s***
I have been going to this gym for 30 years and still get no respect. The trainers dont even obey the rules and leave the gym weights all over the floor. They be slamming the weights. They break into the lockers on a daily basis. They still dont hire Security for the bathroom. They are building $$$million dollar condos hundreds of them around this building wait till they find out about the locker break ins and missing weights.
Hello. Gym is very good 10/10 but the parking space is something crazy my car is not big I have vw Jetta 2012 and sometimes I even can’t open my doors. And today I was going to gym and they were saying that parking is full and didn’t allowed go inside the parking. I’m paying for parking for gym and I can’t go? For this reason I giving 1 star. I wish I could give 0 I hope they will see and gone start doing something.
CANT FOR THE LIFE OF ME CANCEL THE MEMBERSHIP! I left for home in Australia during the pandemic, am unable to travel internationally and they REFUSE to cancel my membership unless I come in person. Today they charged me for another annual fee. WHAT IS GOING ON! WHAT CAN I DO TO STOP PAYING FOR THIS PLACE!
My sister and I joined this gym for a week while staying in Hollywood. The manager was very helpful in setting us up quickly with a membership and the gym hours were great for us. We did find that a few cardio machines were in need of a bit of fixing, but thats not suprising given the huge number of people working out there every evening.
$100 to join then $35 per month. Cant walk in the building without being asphyxiated with the overwhelming use of chlorine. The closer you get to the locker room the worse it gets. The closer you get to the sauna the worse it gets. Thats not chlorine or feet either.I understand that it is Hollywood and this is part of the culture or whatever, but cmon. Have some respect for your fellow man.
This gym is pretty great, I have no complaints with it as far as being a gym.But... it has been closed for renovations since early December and every time the deadline approaches, it gets pushed back - first it was January 1st, then February 1st, just called today and now the opening is Feb 18th. The other Hollywood Fitness on the BLVD gets packed full of yahoos from the Valley trying to be cool because they are working out in Hollywood, making that gym so crowded it is nearly pointless to even go. Ive been taking the Red Line all the way downtown just so I can go to an LA Fitness that is open and not insanely crowded (seriously, Im not waiting 10 minutes just so I can run on a treadmill). Really wish we cancelled our membership and joined another gym because this is getting very frustrating.
The power has been off at the El Centro LA Fitness for the last two days, (yes the power has been off for several days) and today the guy outside said to call before coming back since they have no idea how long it will be closed for.So, I braved cycling through traffic and annoying tourist pedestrians and other carnage to the Hollywood/Sycamore location. This Hollywood/Sycamore location is a dream compared to the El Centro location! For example, this location has clean showers WITH shower curtains, so you can avoid be creeped on while you shower. People here at this location actually wipe down the machines after workouts and generally avoid just throwing garbage everywhere too. Amazing stuff. The facilities at El Centro are pretty gross, wear flip-flops, always, and get a tetanus shot if you forget them. The machines are often broken, so it is always fun when you come at peak hours and try to coax people off machines that have been on them for 60> minutes. The Bro Level is high at the El Centro location, but it IS an L.A gym, so.
This place use to be bad now its worse. The workout equipment are too close to each other and. This gym barely reopened after renovatipn, and there are already too many work equipment flagged as our of service. Most of the staff are not friendly and some are arrogant in how they talk to you. I hate this gym so I prefer going to the one on highland or even the one in Glendale.
I like LA fitness because it has everything you need for a workout. I’ve lost 40 lbs by having a membership with them a couple years ago just using the equipment and cardio. Only thing I think needs work is the cleanliness but other than that LA fitness provides me with what I need.
For a gym it covers the essentials of equipment. This LA Fitness includes a track that encircles the majority of the cardio and abdominal equipment on the second floor which is a neat design. The only downfall I have experienced after two weeks of membership here is poor wifi connectivity and sauna temperatures. You will have to rely on your own data if you wish to listen to internet based music/entertainment. The saunas do not reach my personal preference temperature of 130-140 F (during busy hours).
Gym is ok, average for an LA Fitness but staff is horrible. We were bullied one day. I was using 1 piece of equipment to do sit ups that I like to use and it was placed in the personal trainer section of the gym. I looked for it in other places but could not find it. The personal trainer section was empty so I decided to use it for a few minutes. A staff-member (I cant remember his name) came over and told me to leave the area. I explained that this specific equipment was not available anywhere else in the gym and I would be finished very quickly, He threatened to call the police if I didnt leave, VERY AGGRESSIVE and UNNECESSARY, especially since there was no one using that area or machine. Staff has major attitude problem/ aggression.
Im already going to there but there is tooooooo many people, and you cant workout as well, you cant find any space to do workout. i will cancel my account as soon as possible. if you going to gym for fun, go ahead, but if you going to gym for do real workout, never try.and also about cancellation, you cant cancel as easy your account, you have to feel pain in your brain. believe me.. :D
The parking guy is terrible.. 1st time here and the parking guys all day different things.Took 15 minutes to exit the dam parking. We had to prove we are members of LA fitness, of course they dont believe usafter showing the pass. Ill never come back here, too much trouble just to park and its only our 1st time. What a waste. The only reason its 2 stars is because the gym has a jacuzzi.
Wow this place sucks I should have listened to other reviews I read before i signed up here.I was looking for an inexpensive gym membership about a year ago and found that LA Fitness was a good fit for me financially.Went to get a pass to check it out and the next day the sale people started hounding me! One sales girl called me 3 times in a row all within a few minutes of each other... Who does that?! That kind of behavior is only acceptable if its an emergency. Then after answering she got all indignant that I was upset about it. To me it seems obvious if I dont answer your phone call I didnt have time to talk to you at the moment. THIS PLACE IS THE DEFINITION OF HIGH PRESSURE SALES.Same thing happened to a friend who wanted to check it out and the sale girl told him to leave his ID with her so she could fill out paper work. She left with his ID and asked if he could come back tomorrow to get it! We had to say that was unacceptable and wait 20 mins for her to return with it.Anyway on to the facility its mediocre at best, if you want tons of old people who like to lounge around doing next to nothing at the pool this is the place for you. Only 3 benches for presses, 3 squat racks, no place to deadlift (except at the squat rack), etc... Not a great gym for weighs unless you like to wait, plenty of machines though.Gym gets packed often and it can be hard to get from one exercise to the next.Recently lost a credit card and my auto membership payment stopped working so what does LA Fitness do? THEY CALLED ME 15 TIMES IN THREE DAYS (I counted). Ive never had even the most rabid creditor or debt collector call me this much. For christsakes my own family hasnt called me this much.Anyway if I could do it again Id avoid this place.
People NEVER put back their weights. They are bloody everywhere. The staff never helps by putting weights back in their proper spots. The bathrooms, especially the showers, are disgusting. The pool is dirty. There is no way this place gets above two stars. Most of these reviews MUST be fake.
The gym is really bad, front desk girls are not friendly at all, sit there like robots. More people than equipment,it smells really bad, lots of gay people dressed up not for the gym, very noisy because if gay people as well. It takes awhile to get to the equipment you need.
The finishes in the locker room and on the main floor are substantially better since the renovation. However, the general state of disrepair and filthy conditions prevail. The lockerroom routinely has trash on the floor and waste overflowing from the garbage cans. Ive mentioned this to the desk clerk several times who only said this is due to the customers. Of course its the customers who make the place dirty, who else would it be? This does not relieve a public establishment from maintaining sanitary conditions. Ive posted pics so prospective customers can see for themselves. If the management would get it together, the place would be decent but the filthy conditions, and the general state of disrepair such as the broken tiles in the shower, broken soap dispensers, missing pieces of vanity/sink covers etc. make the place a big mess.
Just moved to the area from woodland hills and went to this one because it is literally down the street. Its filthy and the machines are rusted and out of date. The weights are all in the wrong place in the free weight area and there are backpacks and paper all over the floor. A shame members pay so much for an unkept location.
I hadnt been to this location since the early 2000s, when it was still Ballys. But, i have to admit that compared to the DTLA & Monterey Park locations that i usually go to, this place is amazing!!! lookers seemed clean with no smells or trash all over the place, and the gym floor didnt have any broken machines. i know some of you will still complain, but for $10 a month, this is worth every penny
Horrible customer service. I called with a question about my membership and was given attitude, talked over, then hung up on. Now I’m trying to cancel my membership and they’ve made it next to impossible to do with a normal work schedule. I called again to get it taken care of and got hung up on again.
STAY AWAY! Too bad Google doesnt have a negative star rating. . .I lived in Los Feliz for six years - this was my nearest Ballys. If I didnt already have a membership for $16/month I would never join. The place is ALWAYS crowded resulting in a filthy and disgusting locker room permeated with the stench of urine and feces. The lockers are minuscule and stacked two and three high so there is always some weird hairy guy with his butt in your face while your trying to jam your gear into the locker. Its really a shame because the facility is decent enough its just that they allow WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE in. They should have enough dough (and demand) to add another large gym in the area to alleviate the crowding.
Best place for you, if: You are an old weirdo who usually comes to the gym to hang with other weirdos or old gay immigrant friends of yours. This place is full of weird and strange people along with annoying immigrants. The staff is a bunch of freaks. The milk shake place is disgusting. They have sold me a defected lock and refused to return money after I opened to test it in front of the cashier. Milk shakes are made of some strange, gouie substance that tastes like rubber. Changing rooms & showers are absolutely gross! Two words, and its not Merry Christmas...
This company is always lying. They dont explain about payments, dont do any refunds. You pay cash, than they charge you again from your debit card. The worst fitness ever.Dont go there if you are not native. Employees dont explain anything.First they make you a lot of discounts just to get your card information, then they start stealing your money with out your permition.
I CANT BELIEVE LA FITNESS EVEN HAS THEIR NAME ON THIS PLACE! It is hands down, the most disgusting gym i have EVER set foot in. I recently moved to Los Feliz from Studio City and the main downfall for me was being farther from the gym. Well i found this location on the website only to be let down BIG time after being there for 10 minutes. Its disgusting, and i mean DISGUSTING. The sauna was like an old bath house, dimly lit, the benches were old and rotted, and honestly i feared for my safety while i was there. I am HORRIFIED. Looking into a better gym option in my area.
I am unfortunately a member of LA Fitness through Ballys when they used to be Ballys. Ballys was bad enough, and I didnt think it could get WORSE, but LA Fitness has proven me wrong. This gym is pathetic. There are NO free weights under 10 pounds. They insist people keep stealing them. Really?! There is no where to get a bottle of water as the store is NEVER open and they dont have change for the vending machine. Multiple times Ive been in the bathroom and there hasnt been toilet paper in any stall. Gross. They are a sad excuse for a gym. Makes me want Ballys back.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. WORST STAFF MEMBERS.This manager named Pricilla is horrible especially for a manager. I was trying to add someone to my plan but she was rude, did not try to offer payment plan or anything . I was told to pay $150 upfont for new membership and she pretty much told me to take it or leave it. Everything seems shady and I just walked away and signed him up to a different gym.
Ive coming to this gym for the last 3 years. The cardio class with Robert and Robert K are the best. Zumba classes would be good too if the managment wouldnt keep on changing the instructors so often. Every time i go for zumba there is somebody new and everybody in class is disoriented...Please LA FITNESS keep just one!!!!!!!!!
Swimming pool is yellow and....salty like I never experienced in any other swimming pool (Im a swimmer, I saw a lot of pools). I had to report a homeless with poo all around his butt in the wearing room that was trying to enter in the swimming pool. Fortunately it has been stopped on time, but if this is the level of the controls at the reception, I cant imagine how many times this could have happened... Wearing room is not the cleanest place I ever been...
As you see here this picture was around a year ago the locker room is very sanitary the workers are freaking super helpful people I would ask for some workouts and they helped me showed me around the place I recommended going early aroun 12pm- 3 if you don’t want a packed gym around 7 pm it’s usually always packed along with the classes inside that one room but super great gym I love it
This is truly the worst gym in all the world dirty as hell in bathrooms people that workout there are rude and disrespectful and most of the staff there are motions that never do anything but sit on there add and text on there phones all true only thing good about this place is a few machines

2022-04-08LA Fitness isnt Equinox; nobody should expect it to be for the price. This place is massive and one of the largest gyms Ive ever been to. Theres a lot of equipment and a good variety. This place has pretty much anything youre looking for, although it does get pretty crowded around peak hours. Staff is easy going, I was helped by Bianca when I joined and she was very friendly and professional without being pushy.

2021-08-25I have been working out at this El Centro location for long time and I do not have problems with staff and lockers before covid and after covid. when this gym reopens, the parking price is $1 per hour. sometimes broken parking verification inside of gym. Few reviews says doesnt have protocols and not enough sprays to clean up the equipment and so on. Yes, it was true! Few weights doesnt bring back to the racks. People were looking 10 or 15lbs, they can’t find it however the weights are leaving at the fitness studio room before class begin.Shoutout to four instructors! Lemais, robin , Robert k and Robert O. these are intense and has great personalities with great diversityShout out to Lemais!! he teaches Zumba so good and he has high energy lol 3 years ago, one of the staff called him “ parrot” because of his energy 😂😂😂. take Zumba with LemaisThe two Robert are so intense on fitness classes that they teach. don’t make me confused with them. Robert K teaches cycling. I dont know he teaches cycling. But he teaches cardio jam. He is friendly. meanwhile Robert O, hes teaches a lot classes and train people. I took him before pandemic and it went good especially for leg workout. If any questions about meal plan and classes, Dont hesitate to ask and he will give you good advise.Lastly, shout out to Robin in yoga. She more flexible and shes sweet. Not bully 😉, I recommend you to take her classes. There is one instructor who is choosy, disrespectful, mean, and bully. He creates false statements and reported me that I stalked him but no ones stalking to this instructor. I already spoke with Q but they still believe to the false statements from this instructor. ( he is kinda manipulate and toxic )I blocked his social media accounts he had. If you are go there and take classes, dont take his yoga class that he teaches Wednesday morning and other class that he teaches in other locations. Take different classes who are not bully, good dancer and respectful to the members and has a diversity. As I said, The problem to this instructor, hes act nice at front of people but behind the back, rude and arrogant, irresponsible instructor because he dated young adult and sleeps over, in other words,Hes choosy. Im still come to the el Centro location for the class and work out, not for this bully yoga gentleman.

2022-08-03Weigh hacks empty, can’t find anything and all employees just on their phones on Tiktok. This gym is the worst LAFITNESS I’ve been. The pool feels like it’s gonna rip your skin off of how much bleach. People working out shirtless.. what? OMG THE BLOGGERS IS THE CHERRY ON TOP 😂😂 it’s a circus

2022-06-01Street parking or pay $20 for parking. You walk in and it’s clean, but half the weights are missing. Anything that’s not bolted to the ground and small enough to put in a bag seems like it’s been stolen. Not a pair of clips in the entire gym. Unfortunately the only LA fitness near me. Canceling and going to Golds.

2022-07-18I have to say this gym is poorly maintained. The staff there is subpar at best. The front desk staff had their headphones in no uniform and seemed uninterested didn’t offer even a tour of the facility. The trainers training their clients looked uninterested barely paid any attention to their clients and on their phones. Had them doing workouts that are outdated and didn’t bother to correct form. I run my own gym so I know what it takes for a gym to be operationally sound and this was not it.

2022-04-04As a deadlift enthusiast, I cant give a place with edged plates and no deadlift area five stars. However, for everything else, it does its job perfectly fine. Always just the right amount of crowded, pool is not the worst to swim through whether its for training or for splashing around. Clean, comfy, though I dont know how long the running track is.

2022-06-27SCAM- Whole bunch of scammers working here. To cancel my subscription I was told call a number to cancel it. When I called the number they told me to go to the location to cancel it. When I went back to location they told me you have to email to cancel it. Last 3 days I am going back and forth. when I asked why can’t I cancel it at the location they would say the person who can cancel here is always on brake or didn’t came to work. There is a manager name Maria made me going back and forth for 3 days. But when I run out my patient and shout at them they canceled within a second. Whole bunch of low class people works here.

2022-07-11One of the best LA Fitness in Los Angeles! Tons of leg machines and they have an upstairs running running track!! Not that I’m much of a runner, but damn—that’s impressive, dawg!

2022-06-16What kind of gym doesn’t own a working scale?I was told last time(4 weeks ago) that the part for the scale was orderedAnd I could use the digital one anytime I wanted.Front desk told me today it’s not available until a manager is on site. How does that make any sense?Make this available with or without a manger as it’s causing an inconvenience to gym goers.

2021-04-22I drove to west LA la fitness and the showers were closed. I had no way of getting ready for work. They told me the closest location with showers open was Hollywood. So I drove 30mins to this location to find out THAT WAS A LIE. Do not get a membership here. Half of the gym is closed to paying customers and yet they wanna charge full price for a membership!
