The gym has a room that is only for personal training. I have only seen it used once by with a personal trainer, and it is locked and sits empty. I dont have a problem with the fact that they have a personal training room, my issue is that they have equipment in there that is not available in the rest of the gym. I would like to see them open up this room for all to use, or get all the same equipment for use by everyone. When asked if they could unlock the room, the staff said no, this room is not for you.

I’ve been going to this gym for 10 years, I just called to talk about my renewal and to come in.It’s my first time back since covid. I basically paid for half a year and never came in due to covid and not wanting to workout in a mask. The lady who answered the phone, Deanna was the worst. Before I called her, I accidentally called the miracle mile gym who were so much better than this lady at my home gym. The miracle mile team was positive, encouraging, a welcome back attitude but it was the wrong gym. It’s too far for me to go too.Deanna, who was negative, wouldn’t let me come in until I renewed and when I shared the miracle mile teams pleasant response, she had disregard, didn’t care and hung up the phone. I went from being motivated to getting back into the gym to being frustrated by this terrible person’s attitude and lack of customer service.Update, I just found out Deanna is the general manager and that’s how she talks to the clientele. Wow. Terrible. I’m reporting her to corporate. The way she treats people, she is in the wrong field.Still the worst LA fitness in the area, I have been going hear for years as part of the signature member and today they wanted to charge me for towels. They have this massive leak that’s been here for days with their “towels” they are running short on and wanted to charge me for.

I have to echo the various notes below including the remarkable rudeness of the manager and front desk staff. It is hard to avoid the conclusion that management has no interest in the health and welfare of its customers. None of us are happy wearing masks in a gym but like any local ordinance - such as fire prevention and safety issues - it is not up to a merchant to opt in or out. LA Fitness Beverly Hills very apparently does not enforce the mask (or vaccination) mandate. On any given day the majority of members are not wearing masks. Eat anywhere in LA and you have to wear a mask when walking around - and show proof of vaccination - but with LA Fitness Beverly Hills it is 2019. And when combined with zero social distancing efforts - and no capacity controls - then it is likely a very good place to avoid.

I have to say that the manager, Edwin, at this LA fitness is great! He is always open to feedback and suggestions and is very helpful with resolving any issues. I enjoy going to this gym. It is clean and well kept.

Been going to this gym for about 4 months now. They do a good job at keeping it clean (every time I go there is someone cleaning something), which is more than you can say about other gyms in the area... smaller location but seems to work well if you go at the right times.

This is a pretty nice gym where you can work out and be left alone. it is empty most of the time. the employees arent the best.i went in for a complimentary consultation where they talk to u for 30 minutes and try to set you up with a personal trainer. the man who was evaluating me asked me great questions and i gave answers. i had shared that i got lipo years ago and while i felt i looked way better, i obviously still felt awful, and that feeling better physically was the most important thing for me.so after he shows me a few exercises, he brings out the pricing. not only was the person shadowing him chuckling while i was doing my stretches (i just started so i dont have the best form or balance), i just didnt feel comfortable with the employee himself during training. he wasnt a creep, but i just felt rushed and like he didnt want to be there, which made me not want to follow through with a $3-800 a month personal trainer. when i said i couldnt afford it, he said “but you said you got botox before”. pocket watching someone is not a really a great sales tactic.i will definitely continue to come here and work out as often as possible on my own and find a personal trainer that i feel comfortable with, but i wouldnt waste my time with LA fitness trainers. really uncomfortable experience

It’s one thing for staff to have an unwelcoming or lackluster disposition but that is not the case. They’re outright rude and disrespectful to members and will pressure you to leave before the gym closes, which is at 5pm on weekends. They just want your money and will disregard your wellbeing.

Probably the cleanest gym in LA the cleaning staff are always cleaning something. Also not too busy. Also FYI they validate your parking for 2 hours

In my ten years at LA fitness, I’ve never seen this gym get to the place it is now. 75% of the staff is unwelcoming and not kind. Most of them won’t greet you at the door. Putting that aside, they decided to start closing off the personal training room regardless of if anyone is training in there. I understand wanting to give people who are training privacy, but what’s the point in locking up equipment that people can potentially use when there are no clients? The gym is small as is, so now getting even a bench, barbell, or a cable machine is practically impossible without at least a 15 minute wait time.

First time in an LA Fitness “Signature” Club and did not see what all the hype was about. Club was very “LA” and not in a good way but it did what it was supposed to do and that’s what matters in the end. #lafitness #losangeles #beverlyhills #hollywood
