If you want a place with a good selection of crafted beers and great food after a baseball game, Karl Strauss is a great place to go.Good atmosphere and very open feeling with tables, booths and barstool type seating. We come here nearly once a month and always enjoy it.
I love Karl Strauss food and esp their beer. Been many times here. Great location esp. But tonight at 7:30 tried to order more food over and over again and the app basically shut down in a way like the kitchen was closed. Tried to order food but the app kept spinning and spinning and thought it was me and I couldnt reset my password, got an error message. Even my friend thought it was just me til he actually tried himself. Ummm its only 7:30 and you guys close at 9pm. I get trying to stop more people from ordering beer but food. Huh??? Doesnt make any sense at all. An hour and a half before you close. Thats not good service esp for food. Fix it and also try to maybe stop the barcode ordering in general since things are pretty much back to normal now. Bring back the waiters and waitresses like every other restaurant. Also bring back the Chili Lime Sweet Potato Fries, those were amazing.
This place is pretty good & is run pretty well, EXCEPT:the line is sometimes really slow, & getting a napkin is alwasys difficult &/or time-consuming. try it! plus: all the cloth napkins are dirty anyway--waste of time!theres a learning curve here, for the holes in their game, costing time; plus it costs more $ than it should (all considered)
If you want a place with a good selection of crafted beers and great food after a baseball game, Karl Strauss is a great place to go.Good atmosphere and very open feeling with tables, booths and barstool type seating. The pork chops are to die for especially with the truffle fries. We come here about once a month and always enjoy it.
They have a very large patio seating area set up with a small fire feature. But it is nice. Ordered the Blackened Mahi Tacos. They were good, but very American. Not spicy, pretty bland. Pico de gallo was just chopped tomatoes. Other food dish was the fish and chips. Dont waist your time on them. Greesy, generic, nothing special. Our chicken wings came out cold in the center with hot (temp hot) bbq sauce. Had to send them back. Beware, they dont have chicken wings as the menu states, they are boneless chicken white meat nuggets. And they proportion it by the weight for serving size according to the waitress. So the first cold order had a lot of small scrap pieces, the replacement order only had a few large pieces.
Amazing brewery, fast and cheerful service, tasty food, and fun atmosphere. The beer is delicious...I love IPAs and they have several. I ordered a flight and compared the four. Citrusy, hoppy, malty... delicious! Then I ordered a 16oz of my favorite. Food is fresh and savory. The pretzel is unbelievable! Its super soft on the inside and not too crisp on the outside. The inside tastes so good and is slightly sweet. Two dippng sauces honey mustard and a spicy cheese. They have burgers, salads, pizzas, and the like. The atmosphere is fun and not too loud (so you can actually have a conversation without yelling... ha ha ha). The servers are super knowledgeable about beer so ask your questions. Very impressed with this place.
So so sooo good! My boyfriend and I went here before an angels game one night and the food was amazing! The brussel sprouts were to die for! It was expectedly packed because of the baseball game but we were lucky enough to grab two chairs by the bar after about a 10 min wait. Our food also came out surprisingly fast for the amount of people there which also added to the pleasantness of our meal there. Karl Strauss will now be our stop before every baseball game or any time we are in OC! Thanks for the great meal and great service.
This is arguably one of the best brew pubs I have been to in the country (and Ive been to a lot!). For starters, the restaurant itself was clean and modern, even if it was a little noisy. The happy hour deals were great, especially considering you can get a flight of beers for only $5. And the beers are great; lots and lots of variety so everyone can find a style they liked. For those like me on the hunt for sours, they had three distinct kinds while I was there. The food was awesome too, and their menu has great variety as well. And to finish it all off the service was excellent, our waitress even brought us over a free sample of beer! What a place!
Everytime something good happens to me I celabrate here. So I have been coming here a lot lately. The soups always surprise me. The steak makes me happy. Then it comes to stouts they know what they are doing.. They roll out there experiential stuff on Thursdays but sometimes they will have some still available on Friday and Saturday. Love everything about this place except for there sours and that might just be my preference. Thank you for a consistently fun time.
This brew pub is good. The beers are great. I really liked the Vienna Lager and the Hazy IPA. Get samples and find your favorite. Don’t forget to get some to go. The food was ok. Better than most brew pubs, but could use some work. I got the Duck Fat Pretzels and Ahi Salad.
Great looking hip joint, nice bar and view of Angel stadium.beer was ok, but food was we ordered was not very good.I had the carnitas dip which sounded good but the flavor profile was a mess.something like banh mi and torta mixture which I dont think worked at all. Wife had turkey sandwich and thought it was ok but the bread was not good for a sandwich.truffle fries were good because of fresh chopped garlic.Recommend only for drink and appetizers maybe.
Incredible experience here. Every beer I tried was at the very least good but tended to be of exceptional quality. The flavors of these beers were unique and memorable. There was also a notable variety to choose from. And on top of all that the food was delicious. Highly recommend the Food Truck burger and the poke nachos. I will definitely be back here again!
Had their fish and chips, you could tell the fish wasn’t fresh at all. A couple of my friends got the burgers, Mac and cheese, and truffle fries but no one said their food was good. Everything tasted mediocre. Service varied: There were some good workers who were attentive but there was one waiter who forgot a drink but looked agitated when I asked for it when ten minutes had gone by without receiving it.Beer was ok. Nothing that really sets it apart from other breweries. A lot of overpriced food items and none were worth the price. They have you order online which is great but once you order your soda make sure to just ask the waiter for a refill instead of having to pay for another one.Overall, I won’t go back. Food wasn’t worth it not was the beer. There’s a reason why Golden Road is packed to the brim and Karl’s has plenty of parking to go around.Edit: Funny enough, the one that was in Universal was way better back in 2019. Not sure if the restaurants were different or the food at this location was held to a lower standard. But I can remember the service at the Universal location was much better.
Beware when going into the womens restroom at the Anaheim restaurant. My daughter and I went in there and the mirrors are double sided. The wall that is shared is with the kitchen. My daughter showed me that if you touch your finger to the mirror and your refection touches its double sided, if your reflection has a gap it is a true mirror. Google it. Beware!
Everything is good here. So far Ive tried the bacon Mac and cheese, carnitas sandwich, pretzels, and the brick chicken (see the photo). Its always a plus when the waitress brings a sample that pairs well with your meal. Had the October fest and it was great (even though Im not a big beer drinker).
Cool place, no wait, great food!! No one told us about there being no waiters and you just put your food into the online menu (from the QR code) which is why 4 stars. This led to an interesting experience where my baby boomer father tried his hardest to figure it out but didnt want my help and our order was put in finally 15 minutes later ;)
The beers are smooth and delicious and the grass fed burger is fantastic, dont skip out on their fries. Growler refills to go are well priced for the quality and quantity, dont forget to pack one every time you go! This place is a great balance of a gastropub food and beer in a mainstream restaurant - definitely give it a go!
Great location across the street from Angels Stadium. Location has a very nice bar area, dining and outside seating with views of brewing area/ equipment. Their menu has good game day options as well as formal and healthy options. Their tap list is also pretty large with something for everyones palate; as well as take home options from growlers and cases.
Definitely a must. The brew was spot on and the wine. Fish and chips for the kiddos came with to filets and fries (perfect amount). I got the Mahi Mahi tacos were refreshing and packed full of flavor and my husband got the pork chops which melted in your mouth along with the crispy not soggy at all. We stopped at the location across from the Angles Stadium. Thank you to all the employees. Super clean and you can order from the table or at the bar. Enjoy!!!
Karl Strauss has the same great beer, and a lot of the same food, but isnt really table service like it once was. I dont know if its a staffing issue or a COVID precaution but while food still gets delivered to your table you need to order on your phone or at the bar, there isnt a server at the moment so the experience is different than what Ive come to expect. For now, just happy theyre open for business, but would love for them to go back to full service, and bring back the entire menu including the tiramisu (they make it with Wreck Alley instead of espresso, so amazing).
Its nothing like it used to be. I walked in and no one there to greet you. I wasnt sure if I should just seat myself. I finally saw an employee and she didnt even acknowledge me. No waive, nod or instructions. I waited awhile after seating myself. Then a young man came over and said I had to use the link on the table via scan. He said he cant take my order. I asked if they have Pinot grigio and he said no. He walked away and I placed my order on my phone. I didnt feel too comfortable paying for something completely ahead of time including tip and tax. What if I dont like the food or drink? It was very impersonal. I didnt feel like hanging out there any longer than I needed to. There werent many people there. It was 3:30 to 4:30. :(
Mediocre service and management decided to kick out all patrons at the top of the 9th inning of game 5 of the NLDS without any warning, just turned the tvs and lights off. Ive never seen such unprofessional behavior by any establishment, but its easy to do so since they make you close out your tab before you can order. Dont bother with this place, just go to Golden Road down the street where they at least give you the courtesy of when they are closing and are welcoming.
Yesterday of all days the food wasnt good. Part of the meal cold second part of the meal dripping in Grease..but the kicker is ordering on the app. It doesnt give specific areas for requests and when you do put in the only area as such the kitchen /runner doesnt pay attention. Birthday ordered the only cake etc on menu to have it brought to table before we even at lunch And was given like here happy birthday...Dads 80th. This was a first EVER. THE MANAGER WAS THE BEST PART. HE WAS AMAZING! And having to deal with apps, masks, staff and a cluster he was awesome. Thank you.
They desperately need to fix their ordering system. Instead of having a dedicated waiter or waitress, they require you to use a buggy app to order. We placed our order but it did not go through. Made a bummer out of a special dinner, half the table finished eating before the others got their order.
Great variety of beers, and good food options. Better food than most of the other local breweries! The price for beer is pretty awesome and reasonable, on the other hand: the price for the food, in my opinion, is a bit too high considering its nothing fancy. We ordered A burger, the truffle fries, and the three meat Max & cheese which were all really good! Just a bit too much on the price considering the burger here was almost $20.Other than the food price point, this place is spacious! Came in with no wait! Right by angel stadium if youre looking to come before a home game.We wore dodger gear & were still welcomed here (so dont worry dodger fans, were safe here!).
I came here on a Saturday night and probably waited 15 mins for a table for 4 at around 7 pm. That was nice but my other friends got their food wayyy before we did so that I wasn’t happy about the beer was cold and refreshing after this super hot summer and we stayed until about 9:16 and I never felt like they were kicking us out which was nice we didn’t notice the time until we looked around and noticed we were the only ones left than looked at the time and said oooo we should go but great customer service in my opinion. The 3 stars because of the long wait for our food, the table behind us got sat after us, also a table of 4 and got all their food before my bf and I and when I asked the runner if he knew how much longer he said “I don’t” and then I responded “well can you find out?” So not so great on that customer service on his part
The food was really good. Everyone in my group enjoyed what they ordered. The Mac and cheese is excellent. They do not skimp on the breadcrumbs. My only complaint was that our waitress was trying really hard to sell us $50 growlers and various beers when at least half the group openly said they weren’t beer drinkers. Even just while we were eating, she must’ve come to our table at least 3 times. She wanted to know everything about us. It was honestly pretty annoying. I can’t remember her name but please just chill.I really want to give the place 5 stars on food alone. But I kinda felt like I was eating at a car dealership and there are no drink options for people who don’t drink beer. I get that it’s a brewery but come on.
Never had a bad experience here. The place looks awesome, the food is really good, and the beers are solid. They might try a few too many beer styles which lead to some underwhelming ones, but their classics are always good.Discount growlers on Fridays. As of this review, theyre $10 (used to be $9).
Good beer selection, better than average menu, well done service. You really dont expect the variety and quality of the food from a chain brew pub, but you definitely get it. Not sure what to expect during baseball season where this is probably a very busy place across the street from the Big A. Would probably be fun
Service is good if you sit inside and its busy, can be spotty on the patio when its slow. Waiters like to sit around and talk. Beer list is not exceptionally long, but thats a good thing. Maybe 25 beers available means you have a good selection but arent digging to find a good option. Food is of a high quality, but not necessarily my cup of tea. But it is good and presented well. Desert menu looks good, but I cant get myself to order the beeramisu...
Don’t waste your time here. I made a reservation a couple months ahead when we bought concert tickets at the Honda center. We stood in a long line to check in and the hostess and then we were taken to a bar style high top table. I asked if we could have a normal table or booth because we made reservations so far in advance but the guy who seated us checked with the hostess and she said no. We ordered a couple beers and after waiting for 20 minutes for them the waiter came back to tell me that they were out of what I ordered. I replaced my order with champagne that took an additional 25 minutes to come. My husband kept asking if we could just leave and looking back in it I wish we had. We finally ordered and the food took forever to come out. The food ended up being just as bad as the service. It was so bad.
This place is incredible! I was blown away that they just opened because the speed of service, food and beer was top notch. We have the duck fat pretzel balls which were melt-in-your-mouth to die for! The Mac and cheese was perfect and my husband had the tofu curry which he scarfed down. They gave us beer samples and the waitress was knowledgable about the beers and specials. They were even so sweet to my one year old who was pushing his high chair around. I love a baby friendly restaurant, especially with the quality they serve. We will go back again and again.
Great place to hang out, have fun, drink and eat. Either by yourself or with others. I drank a 16 Oz of Boat Shoes Hazy IPA and it was delicious. I wouldve drank another if the first cup hadnt given me such a buzz. Overall I had a great time. I didnt try the food but just by looking around and being in a friendly environment has me regretting not being able to try the food.. I BET that the Food will be bursting in flavors 😋. I cant wait to go back and find out myself 😈😀.
Always the best spot to get different types of good beer. Service is great but like any place it can get busy, but trust the wait is worth it. And it helps that its across the best baseball team in the world ;-) Go Angels! And definitely go by this wonderful brewery, the ambience and scene is definitely very chill.
My wedding reception was held here on 4/20/2019 and I would just like to say that the manager, our servers, and all of the staff were amazing. The entire event turned out better than I couldve ever imagined. We were in a room in the back of the restaurant which gave us great privacy and it had part of the patio attached to it so we had a great view of the Angels Stadium. If you are thinking of doing a group event at Karl Strauss in Anaheim, you will be in great hands. Thank you very much for making our wedding day perfect!
GREAT SERVICE AND BEER! Came in with my father on a Saturday morning when it was slow and our server Jordan gave us Excellent service. It was my Dads first time to a brewery and didn’t know what type of beer he would like. She made great suggestion and after my picky father found what he liked she kept coming back with more samples that she felt he would like which he did. Definitely coming back.
With a view of the stadium, great beer and great food, its hard to pass up a chance to eat here. All the locations for Karl Strauss are fantastic but as a pregame option it cant be beat. Service is always good and they are very honest about their opinions...so if you cant pick ask your server. Its a great date place, good place for groups and families are welcomed as well.
This was my first visit to Karl Strauss Brewery in Anaheim and it was very enjoyable. I found it to be very clean with a nice modern design. There are more than 20 handles available, so there is a beer for everyone on tap. If you are not sure what to order, ask the bartender for a taste. They are very knowledgeable about the brews and are happy to help you make the right choice. If you have any questions about anything, just ask, everyone is friendly here.My personal choice for beer was the Red Trolley Irish Ale. Similar to Modello Negra, with better flavor. I can definitely recommend it and will enjoy a glass again next time. This brewery is located on Orangewood across from the Big A and the cross street is Rampart. The parking lot is large and access is easy from the Orangewood entrance. I did not sample the food on this visit, but next time I will be having lunch, and I expect the food to be every bit as good as the beer.Thank you Kylie for the warm welcome and for all your help in making the right choice. I had several questions and, like a good bartender should, she had all the answers. This is a nice place and I will be looking forward to my next visit. Many thanks Kylie, hope to see you again next time.
My family and some friends went for dinner. We all ordered different plates. They were ALL delicious!! My salmon plate came to my table a bit later than everyone else at my table and to my surprise, without complaint management noticed my plate taken out late and gave me my meal free of charge. Excellent service too.
Best question we were asked Do you want the kids meal out first?Great service with suggestions on beers that pair well with the awesome food. Tasters so you are not stuck with a glass of disappointment and instead something very tasty.I am also very impressed with the Manager making sure everything goes right.
Stopped by here today looking for a place to grab a beer and watch the game that allows dogs. Serendipity, fate, happy accident, call it what you will. This place is amazing. Beautiful facility, TVs inside and out, suuuuuper dog friendly, fantastic beers, and the food... so good.
All i can say is Karl Strauss beers are top notch. The Red Trolley is a #1 Red in my book. The place down the street said they had a Red that can match a Red Trolley... NOPE.Food was excellent and atmosphere was very comfortable. All Karl Strauss places are very very nice. Recommend all of them.
I like everything about this place. Not sure, but I think it may have been a fire station at one time because the north wall is all roll up doors. Everyone liked their dinner. KSB had unique food and salads, which were all very fresh, especially their Ahi. The beer was quite amazing, with a beautiful collection of IPA and other choices. The restaurant itself is very simplistic, Charming, relaxing, hip and now.
Pretty good chilaquilles for brunch. The tofu stack was only ok. The vegetables were good, but the tofu they used was really firm but not in a good way. It was almost stale, if tofu can be that. But the beers were as good as always. Had the dubble, Porter and brown. Didnt have to order a single IPA!
Absolutely clean and fancy. Updated decor and great staff. Brilliantly located near the Angels stadium so a perfect place to meet up before a game or an event. Get there like two and a half hours before the event so its not too packed. And of course Karls beer, cant go wrong. So pre game there so youre not paying 15 dollars for a bud light at the stadium... Might as well just pee in my mouth for that price
We picked a night when the Angels were out of town and thought this would be a fun place to go. Its reasonably nice, the food is reasonably good but the service was just poor. I could give you an explanation of the six things that went wrong but that really doesnt make any difference there were six things that went wrong and there wasnt an effort to try and fix things even after acknowledging they were wrong. This is a so-so bar with marginal food in a good location youre getting ready for a ball game.
Anaheim Karl Strauss brewery-restaurant is great place for beer & food. Great for large parties. Food is very good gourmet brew-pub-grub, the Piggy Bank mac & Cheese is to-die-for good. Same with the blue cheese burger. Have always liked Karl Strauss beer, ales, & stouts, but this location you can try some of the small lot brews. They have kids meals too. Prices readonable
Tasty food! Tried the loaded fries and loved every bite. The pork belly melts like butter in your mouth, and the broccolini makes you feel a little less guilty for the fatty treat. 4oz tasters are just the right size to sample their ever-changing selection of crafted beers.
Place was packed when it opened at 11am due to a truck enthusiast meet in the parking lot, line was out the door but we were seated and had beers on the table in under 15 mins. Carne asada fries were probably too 3 for me! Had the Oktoberfest brew. Buy a mug too it makes any beer taste so frosty and delicious.
Been to this particular location twice now and it hasnt disappointed. The staple beers (Tower 10 IPA, Red Trolley, Big Barrel IIPA) are brewed really well with great balance and flavor. If thats not enough there are the seasonal brews, holiday series brews, barrel aged brews, colabo brews and finally the small batch brews. This place is a big time brewery that still pumps out small craft brews without fail.As a matter of fact, they pump out great food as well. Only thing that Ive had here that I didnt much like was the quesadilla. (it looked like they were just undercooked pieces of tortilla chips) Other than that all the other food was scumptious! It also seems to be case across the board at the South Coast location. But sorry South Coast, this one takes the cake.Inside the restaurant are tables, booths and high chairs galore. There is even a good sized patio lined along Orangewood ave where you can hear the Angels fans screaming from the stadium across the street.Come by this place, you wont be disappointed. If you dont like waiting 30-45 min to eat, I suggest you come when theyre not as busy. Say, 11am, 3-5pm and 90 minutes before closing. If youre okay with waiting, then go get some beer and food!
Great line of craft beers from San Diego! Every beer on tap is a winner, and they have pretzels too! Finally they added a line so its not confusing where you need to stand to order and the line doesnt block the walkway. There is a Karl Strauss restaurant nearby in Costa Mesa! Cask night every Thursday! Dont ask what it is just go and ask for it!
I came here for a quick bite to eat and had a few shareable plates with my Aunt—asada fries, white cheddar cheese curds and seared ahi salad. It all was so delicious, especially the chipotle sauce that came with the curds! I am not a drinker so I can’t speak for that but their selection was quite extensive. We also had the bread pudding dessert which was absolutely to die for. Love this place, I’d come back.
Being a San Diego native, Im ashamed to say that the first time Ive been to this brewery - was at this location, haha. However, I will say that their happy hour is a steal!Monday - Friday 3PM-6PM $5 beers, bites AND flights! Came here with a couple co-workers for happy hour. Couple things I tried:- DOUBLE TRUFFLE FRIESEverything about these fries are perfect. Loved the fresh garlic and rosemary - was perfect with the truffle aioli!- DUCK FAT PRETZEL BITESThese were a-ok for pretzel bites. I couldnt really tell with the duck fat, seemed like regular pretzel bites to me, a bit more done and brown than I liked.- BERRY-APPLE CRISPI had very high hopes for this. But turns out the mix of berries (blueberry, raspberry, strawberry and blackberries) with apple, just wasnt as appealing as it sounded. Quite messy too.- BEERAMISUOk, this was lit. Im not a crazy fan of tiramisu, but this was so good! So good that, I cant even remember eating it cause we went in on this dessert - a definite must try!I had a couple beers that night since we were watching the Dodger game, but the beer that stood out to me personally was the queen of tarts. Great atmosphere and great location, ample parking. Will return.
Michael did a great job, steering us toward the beers that were in our flavor profile. He brought us samples of beers we may not have tried, but will be back to have more of. Thursday night is a must try, the casking countdown and delicious beer in limited quantities. 5 minutes from the house, need I say more.
Karl Strauss hit a home run with this restaurant! They have transformed the floor level of an ugly office building into a microbrewery with great beers, food, and service! The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating for both small and large groups. I really enjoyed the brussel sprout appetizer!
I came here for a couple of beers with my friends before an Angels game. Windansea Wheat is a solid hefeweizen and the Pintail Pale was a darker, maltier pale than your average west coast American pale ale. I also tasted the Big Barrel and Tower 10 IPAs, both of which were good quality albeit not noteworthy. I did not have any food during my brief visit.
Screw this place. Went in at 4:15 on a Thursday for happy hour. Right when I walked in there was no one working the podium, yet some worker walked by, looked at me, and kept on walking. I decided to seat myself in the bar area as that was the only occupied place, and finally the hostess came up and asked if I had been helped, said where I was sitting was fine, and that I would be helped by someone. After 10 min of servers walking by and not even acknowledging me, I got up and left. I mean are you serious??? 12 people max in there and you cant even acknowledge the guy sitting in plain view after 10 min??? Bullshit customer service.

2022-03-05Food is good! Beer is good. Open seating concept, I like it. You seat yourself, order on your phone, pay on your phone. Everything is so easy. I think restaurants should all do this to save on overhead and have the food cheaper. This is a great concept and it was a great experience.

2022-01-05Fun spot just south of angels stadium. Cam here because Google thought they still had happy hour but sadly they discontinued it with COVID. Still a great spot and great selection of brews.

2022-02-20This is a great spot. Great beer and actually tasty food. This is my first time here but I will definitely be back. Awesome laid back atmosphere throughout the whole brewery with chill music played in the background. Highly recommend.

2022-04-24Thanks Brandon. The whole experience was on the verge of disaster until this guy took the time to acknowledge me. They definitely earned a repeat patron. This is going to be a negative 5 star review. Didn’t have the heart to ‘Neg em after speaking with Brandon. I’m going to keep it constructive. When no one is responsible, no one can be held accountable. I say this because “waiting” the tables is a group effort here. This allows some of the staff to coast leaving the “try hards” to pull the cart. To gain refills or service, you need to “flag” down someone in a Karl Strauss Shirt. I’ve never had so many people duck my eye contact outside of middle school dances. Eventually the “Try Hards” will burn out and find a more rewarding experience else where leaving the loafers destroying the service in their wake.Tipping before you ever experience the service of the staff is absurd, I tipped 20% because well it’s customary and I realize it’s important. Outside of Brandon, I would have lowered that significantly due to the level of service we received varied DRASTICALLY from person to person. Brandon? 30% the random dudes who ducked every single eye contact even going as far as to completely ignore me as I talked directly at them while they walked by- probably busy. No idea.We had to create several orders - which is inconvenient but overlook-able.Every server that took the time was fantastic, the several members of the team who would rather loafer around chatting could be unscheduled tomorrow and I promise not a single patron would know the difference - only the person pressing go on the ADP “Run Payroll” Button.Either way food was fantastic, service once I was aware of the situation was manageable. ( You definitely have to “pick one” and let the loafers coast through their shifts)Excellent food and drink highly recommend. Also should be noted if your here with your buddies I don’t believe you will experience this as each buddy will have their own ordering experience and beverage delivered promptly. What runs astray is treating this place like your traditional restaurant.Peace ✌️

2021-09-07Great first experience at Karl Strauss! Ive had several of their beers before but never been at their restaurant, so my wife & I decided to check their Anaheim location out! I was a little disappointed they didnt have a KS brew I was wanting to taste for awhile now isomerizer ipa but thats ok. Great open, laid-back atmosphere. The Angels had a game next door at home when we went but glad they had a few TVs with the Dodgers game on;) Also its quite open, you seat yourself, had plenty of seats inside and out, easy to order via app, ordered some tasters as well as ordering their pork chop for myself & wife decided on wings. I forgot to take pics of the food though but was pretty good. It wasnt to die for, but still tasted great and paired well with some of the beers. Cheers!

2022-05-24Karl Strauss is a great stop before an Angels game. The vibe is great. The beer is better than Golden Road’s beer and the food was much better than Golden Road’s. Service was great! This will be our new spot to hang out before games where beer doesn’t cost you $15.50 a pour (stadium prices). Get there early enough, and you won’t have to pay the $10 fee to park either. Well worth it!

2022-01-19Setting and Ambiance great! Food, not so! Burgers arrived to our table cold, as did the fries 5 minutes before the burgers! The salad was wilted, must have sat around all day unrefrigerated! I would like to say the service was great, but since the food was delivered cold, the service will not get my thumbs up!They were friendly though as was the entire staff we interacted!
