First day with kaiser and I couldnt be happier with the insurance switch. I was nervous based on other reviews I read, (particularly at the Temecula location) but it was everything you would hope for.The entire process was incredibly smooth. Nurses and doctor are friendly and efficient. Lab blood work was in and out within minutes, as was the pharmacy rx pickup. I highly recommend!UPDATE2 years later and switching to Kaiser was the best choice we could have made. I appreciate how quickly they respond to questions, concerns, and apts. Very pleased with Kaiser!
Have always had great service with Kaiser. Would never pick another provider. The attention to detail. The fact that everything is done at one facility. Doctor visit, labs, and pharmacy is so convenient. With kaiser it is easy to pick another provider if you are not happy with the one you have. There app provides all the resources needed for complete coverage.
I hate the fact that our insurance was changed to Kaiser this year. I had several hostile phone appointments with people who have told me they do not have my name brand birth control so I had to switch to the generic brand Kaiser carries and the lady told me it was virtually the same. I became severely depressed after switching to generic BC and made another phone appointment to figure out why this happened. I was basically told that Im crazy and probably have other things going on in my life causing me stress.. I was never like this on my old birth control and life has been very good lately. I honestly resent the fact that they have 0 compassion, start to sound irritated when I tell them how the BC they gave me has made me feel, and I am already in such a vulnerable state feeling this depressed - which I EXPRESSED to them. And on top of all that my next gynecologist appointment is 3 months away. I would avoid Kaiser altogether if given the option.
Yesterday I spent 40 minutes total waiting for pills ordered well in advanced. One young lady was very rudе. When I tryed to ask her why it takes so long time, she simply pointed on the label of social distancing on the floor and replied: you must stay there. I think, the pharmacy superviser does nothing to make work discipline better. She or he occupies a wrong position. I have decided to change the KP to different medical provider
The only doctor my husband could sign up with was the doctor who is constantly accepting new patients at Temecula Kaiser. This doctor was rude and did not listen. My husband describes him as a doctor with a God complex. The doctor ordered a laboratory medical test that my husband had no prior knowledge of, or pre-notice of this test. We had no idea my husband had taken this medical test until we were told by the doctor. He also never looked at my husband’s diabetic foot sore. He never explained how to care for his foot. I read online how to care for his foot. The union I belong to is one of Kaiser’s biggest clients, and I pay hard earned money for this insurance. They shouldn’t keep the unavailable, NOT accepting new patients, doctors away or sequestered from patients who need them. It’s sad they cannot match doctor and patients without red tape. I have contacted medical services to change his doctor. The lady on the phone said oh this doctor isn’t accepting new patients. I said the only doctor accepting new patients is the doctor we do not want. She sent a message requesting the new doctor. I have to wait for her to call me back. Ugh
I have had a great experience with pediatrics with my son back in San diego. No problems with any of the kaiser staff Ive encountered until I went to the Temecula location. I came here for my babys immunizations and the black lady who is in pediatrics giving the shots let my daughters leg get all bloody which was squirting blood when she took the needle out along with her clothes from the first shot. She didnt bother putting on a band aid before moving onto the two other shots. She was definitely not friendly either. I never had such an experience in any other Kaisers from San Diego who seemed to know what they were doing and handle things. I would hope the other employees know how to handle things better. I normally update with names of who needs credit for great or horrible service but Im happy to say that she has better care from a different health insurance provider now.
I came in for my annual checkup last month, noted the new buildings, was greeted by a friendly receptionary who were very prompt and professional in directing my check-in.Before I even could let my mind wander upon the almost pristine condition of the waiting room, I was already being welcomed in by a Nurse who took all my vitals. I appreciated the care and expediency by all staff I encountered, I felt accommodated and confident in the level of expertise I was being handled with.I guess I was in for the whole enchilada, I had a prescription ready to check in with their on location pharmacy. The assistants and technicians exemplified the same professionalism I encountered before, I sat with slight curiosity at the busying pace that they handled their volume. The entire visit from start to finish was done within the hour, I couldnt have been happier about the overall experience. Thank You!
I went in for a routine injection at the nurse clinic that usually takes 5 minutes. I had to get permission from my supervisor to go because I was supposed to be working, but the nurse clinic is only available 2 to 4. I was told there was a 15 minute wait. An hour later, I left without being seen because I had told my coworkers Id only be gone 30 minutes, not 60. Ive never waited so long for such a simple appointment. Very disappointing and frustrating.
I have been going to Kaiser for 8 years now and basically the drs are all just ok except for these 3.....Dr San Diego in pediatrics is AMAZING. Smart, kind, does not rush. She is the whole package. Dr Khoder for woman issues is one of the most intelligent, creative men I have ever met and then there is Dr Jay Ferns who I have seen a few times now and just love his personality, his knowledge, he actually listens and knows what the issue is. His experience truly shows through. He is not a permanent Kaiser Dr so I cant have him everytime but I sure will try. Hopefully if you are looking for any of these areas you will be lucky enough to get one of these 3. Otherwise they are just tossing a coin to see if they want you to have asthma, acid reflex or a virus. Good luck Kaiser PatientsUpdate...I also have had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Perez as my primary now for a few years. He is supportive, attentive and always either emails or calls me back. He does not mess around with your health and I feel he does what is best for my particular situation every time. I have been extremely happy with these Drs
Kaiser is a pain. Horrible attitude of all staff. Lines are so long & cant find a space in the parking lot. If you are late because of the headache trying to check in then theyll BUMP you. Its difficult to get an appointment in a timely manner. Could be months from date that you call. If you want an earlier appt, then often times you have to drive to Riverside. Who wants to do that??? We have to pay the monthly premium but good luck being able to use your insurance. Unfortunately that staff does not understand that without us customers they would not be in business! Instead they continue to treat us like garbage...
I called just to have my prescription filled but no one seemed to be able to assist me. I was on the phone 1 hour and spoke 2 times with the pharmacy which would refer me back to my doctor’s office but no one could help. After speaking to about 6 different people someone finally told me they would send a message to my doctor’s office and ask if I had to come in order to renew my prescription but that it could take up to 3 days before they contact me. I have never experienced this type of treatment from a medical facility before.
We have been patients for over 10 years in the temecula location. Service and patient care has diminished significantly. Poor communication and lack there of, appointments are hard to get, tried to talk to a nurse, was told to wait 6 hours. They called a week later. Still no follow up. Was told I can stop by for nurses visit, checked in, waited 40 mins, name was never called. Now, it is past their time frame and they are not available. I am being forced to see urgent care where there is a 2 hr wait minimum. Totally unacceptable.
Other than the occasional encounter of good face to face customer service, this Pharmacy is frustrating at best. They dont keep meds stocked. My husband has never gone to fill one of his prescriptions and had it be in stock. This time I needed a time sensitive medication for my young daughter and once again, in true Kaiser Temecula fashion they dont have it AND WONT UNTIL DAY THREE!! This place and the person who makes their decisions is failing completely. Nothing is timely and they never have the meds you need to fill.Ridiculous.
Excellent experience! New member after a 20 year hiatus. One stop for almost everything. Only issue weve had is finding the pharmacy hours posted on line. Having the lab and medical imaging all in one stop has been wonderful! Cant wait for the new hospital to open, then it will be perfect.
Horrible experience, wish I could give them zero stars. Trying to schedule a simple eye exam but I had to be thrown around so many departments over 2 days and then finally was told I will need to drive 100 miles round trip to get it done and that they have no contracted optometrists where I live. I live in a heavily populated southern California location so its not like Im out in the boonies. Was told to call member services and they were rude and useless and told me to pretty much cancel if I want and when I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told sure but it will be an hour wait. RIDICULOUS!
Kaiser is awful in Wildomar & Temecula. The Dr. are always in a rush & just try getting you to come back to charge Moreno-payments on top of the $380 a month we pay for 4 people as well bill you for additional charges every time you see a Dr. & if you dont pay first notice it goes on your credit. You can never talk to a nurse, you have to leave messages & hope for a call back. Dr. Never call back so dont even try speaking to one. We cancel our whole family. I dont mind paying if I get the service but they are just to damn money hungry. They push health problems off so you pay again & come back. Have you see different Dr. for every little thing call them specialist to charge even more.
I find this location efficient. Dont go if you are in a hurry. Allow time for waiting. I love the prices at the pharmacy for stuff I would normally get at CVS. So much cheaper and they have their own branded items. what a savings! 10mg citrizine 100 count $13. puts the price of Zyrtec to shame.
They dont have enough Doctors.99% of the time if you go to urgent care you see a P A .they try to send you to Riverside for everything.which is a good hour drive..they dont have a urgent care in Temecula. And if you go to another urgent care they wont pay for a script.Because its not their Doctor the pharmacy is closed on Sundays.if you have to go to the hospital they will ship you to Riverside which is a hardship for families.to drive.I only have it because I have to my company offers it. My daughter recently went to the urgent care they gave her a Shot she came out and she Saud she felt hot she started turning red si I told to knock on the door the nurse opened and Said your not having a reactionslamed the door on her face.Next day she went to A real Er and saw a real Doctor and was told she was indeed haveing a allergic reaction. We tried to fight Kaiser but they deny everything.you pay for what you get ..And the Doctors have a time limit they can be with you.Thats why the good left .
Tried to make an appointment to see my primary care physician and they are a month out which is completely ridiculousSo I put a call in to my primary care physician to let them know my health issue they had informed me to be seen by an available doctor so I could get some testing startedMade that appointment which was 5 days away showed up to my appointment 15 minutes early checked in and waited for a half hour then was called back to have my vitals done after vitals were done the nurse informed me that they were running 40 minutes behind that I would have to go back out to the waiting room and that she would let me know where they were in 40 minutesThe whole reason I made an appointment was so I wasnt waiting all day and the fact my primary care physician cant see me for a month is completely unreasonableVery disappointed in the service at this location

2022-07-04Never posted a review for anything before, but I hope in doing so service may improve. I recently saw Dr. Ezeamama to establish care as a first-time Kaiser patient. I had several concerns that I needed to be seen for as well. Check-in and the nurses were great, however I was extremely disappointed with the level of care from the Dr. She came rushing in, talking a mile a minute. I was hardly able to voice my concerns (which are pressing matters and affect my daily life). She told me “I’m just an internist” and I need to see a specialist for each problem, further delaying care. She listened to my breath sounds and heartbeat and that was it. When a nurse came back I asked if anything could be done about a painful skin condition and she was shocked when I showed her what I’ve been dealing with. She was surprised Dr. Didn’t offer any help, but said she would send her a message and see if she was still in office. I was then told Dr. Had a meeting and that’s probably why she rushed through my appointment. She had prescribed meds for another condition (which cannot be abruptly stopped.) My appointment was on Friday and she still has not sent a request in for them to be filled. Needless to say, I will not be continuing care with her.

2022-06-23Dr Mazanderani is fantastic. I have had quite a few primary care doctors over the years due to frequent moving, and he is great. He truly listens to your concerns, offers helpful suggestions, communicates thoroughly and genuinely cares about you as a patient. He treats you with compassion and respect. A+

2022-02-18This location is horrible from the security, check in clerks, nurses and doctors. I don’t normally write reviews but I had to especially because I come to the hospital for my health and no seems to care. They all make me feel like I’m bothering them everyone is in a rush to get you out without really trying to fix the concern. I have never felt like such a bother at any other hospital. This Kaiser is 10 minutes away but I will take a longer drive to another Kaiser because every time I come the entire staff is rude. Im actually working on leaving Kaiser although just because of this location.

2022-06-09My Grandma is a patient of Dr Elvis Chernyshov and he is hands down the best internal medicine doctor at Kaiser he is really on top of her care and we couldnt be happier, everything weve ever asked him for he has taken care of and followed through with he is highly efficient and is a one stop shop and he answers all of our questions with a knowledgeable answer. I highly recommend him to any patient lucky enough to have him as their doctor! My only complaint with this facility is that its hard to find parking there and sometimes the pharmacy takes awhile because its small but they try their best to get the prescriptionsout asap, but the lab and imaging place is great!

2022-05-05No compassion for people who are new to Kaiser and don’t really know where to go or how it works. The people at check-in seem to be quite annoyed if you don’t know something they expect you to know. Also the person verbally attacking people for not knowing they still enforce mask policies is not the best welcome

2022-01-07After seeing the horrendous lines at the Murrieta Kaiser for COVID testing, I looked up testing sites and saw Kaiser opened up walk-up testing here. I did the e-visit, drove over, and there were 4 people ahead of me in line. The nurse input my information, prepared the kit, showed me how to do the swab, and I did it by myself in my car. Much like if you did a CVS drive-thru test. I walked it back up to the drop off and was done within 25-30 minutes.Thank you for making it so easy. I was about to drive all over SoCal to look for a drug store test.

2021-12-31Ive had kaiser my whole life, made an appointment to see a doctor after stressing about it and making people mad because I wouldnt go. I keep losing my voice, hacking up blood and throwing up most mornings. Went to my appointment that I had to leave work early to make it to for them to check my blood pressure and tell me that they changed my appointment to a phone appointment. I guess Ill just die or something instead of finding out whats wrong. Thank god for health insurance.

2021-09-02I want to give Dr Wendy Jaen Yin To a shout out at the Temecula Kaiser health offices 👏My girls do not do well at doctors or dentists, and Dr Wendy was amazing! She was friendly, warm, attentive, and fast (great for kids getting bored or restless)We’ve met a few doctors across CA and the U.K. and she is by far our favorite! We feel very lucky she was taking new patients on when we moved here this summer.

2021-11-21My BFF met with her dr for 1st time on Oct 26th for serious pain. That dr referred her for blood work and a ct scan that found a large mass. Shes been waiting to have a biopsy done for over 3 weeks now and nobody will help her! She needs to get in ASAP and another weeks gone by. Its now been over 3 weeks since she first went and all her dr told her was that it looked like cancer but they wont know for sure until they get biopsy results. In the meantime an oncologist called about scheduling an MRI and shes still waiting for that too. Beware of using Kaiser if you need immediate help.

2021-08-24What are the new rules for visiting the laboratory services? why wait outside? when no one is serviced in the laboratory at this time! the administration of the kaiser must think it over
