I am not much for words but the team at Reef Point were phenomenal in helping me find my first home. It started with me watching a one of their webinars by their CEO John Reeves on information for first time home buyers, I then received a call from one of their agents, John Ramos and the rest was history. John Ramos was truly knowledgeable and walked me step by step through the process. John was very personable, flexible and was able to respond at any time of the day. We recently moved to Menifee, California from Baja Mexico, and knew nothing about the area. Our goal was to find a home that we could afford and that had most of the things we wanted in making this big move. Susan Green at ReefPoint Realty was strongly recommended as a buyers agent, and we were told that she was a real fighter, especially for new buyers in this area. Susan Green is awesome! If I could, I’d give her ten stars!My elderly mother needed my help to sell her house and I didn’t have a clue where to start or what to do. For starters, I couldn’t even get to the house to straighten it up for showing—and it needed straightening up, believe me.When I said this to Susan the first time we spoke, she reassured me that she would help me handle everything.To say she went the extra mile for me is the biggest understatement of the century! She went the extra thousand miles. She worked her butt off clearing away the piles and piles of clutter so people could actually see what a nice house it is. She even made sure the neglected jungle of a backyard was presentable.If I called or texted her with a question, she always got right back to me. And she’s a great problem solver!The most amazing thing, though, was when she went out of her way to give me suggestions for handling a personal issue I was having with my landlord. I mean, who does that?She ended up selling the house for almost $10,000 over the asking price!Susan is not just a great real estate agent, she’s a great person—and you can’t ask for more than that, especially when you’re buying or selling a house.
They are completely impersonal! I met one of their agents once, and was put off by how quickly they asked me to sign an agreement which felt like he was trying to trick me into getting locked in a contract. I chose another agency, but this company won’t stop calling and leaving voicemails, regardless of my many requests to be taken off their calling list. They are so impersonal that they have an automated pre-recorded message they send directly to your voicemail, AND when I do get a call from a live agent, they just hang up as soon as I ask to be removed from their calling list. SO glad I didn’t sign that contract and chose another agent!! Clients at John Reeves are definitely just a number for them, rather than a true client.

Tania Rivera worked diligently to schedule home viewings, make offers, and close quickly once we found the home we wanted. She was very efficient at responding to text/call/email, as well as keeping us updated and on top of anything we needed to do. I recommend Tania and Reef Point if you want an aggressive realtor. However, be sure to do your own research about the home and financing options, and be sure to hire your own contractors (plumbers, inspectors etc), as we felt some matters were rushed or overlooked in an attempt to close quickly, not optimally.

We met Jamie-Lynne Vazquez at one of Reef Points home buying seminars at Stone Brewery back in late October. She introduced herself to my family and I and little did we know at the time, that she would be the person who would make our dream of buying a home come true. At the seminar, we set an appointment with her at Reef Points Murphy Canyon office. We met with her and she explained to us more in depth how the home buying process works and established our wants and needs as a family.That next weekend we were sent listings and started checking out properties. We thought we knew what we wanted, but it became apparent as we looked at different properties that we were going to be a little more demanding then we had anticipated. Jaime-Lynne was not fazed by this at all! She was so patient with us as our minds changed repeatedly over locations and sizes of properties. When we finally had a clear vision of what we wanted we started finding homes and putting in offers.We put in several offers and did not get any of them. Not without trying, but better offers were accepted that were out of price range. We started to get discouraged with the process and were losing hope of getting into a home. Jamie-Lynne was in contact with us on a daily basis giving us words of encouragement and sending positive energy our way so that we wouldnt lose hope and kept telling us that our home was coming soon we just had to find it. Her energy was infectious and our spirits were uplifted every time we talked.We went through November not finding anything and in the beginning of December she called us with great news that she thinks she may have found our house. And boy did she! She knocked it out the park with more room than we could have ever dreamed of with a huge backyard to boot! She negotiated all the closing costs and settled on a price that everyone tells us was a steal. Once the ball was rolling, she and her team including Lindsey Isenberg and Jason Ross walked us through every step of the process and never faltered even once through the busy Christmas and New Years holidays.This wasnt the easiest sale either as the seller had issues of their own and some repairs needed to be made before a deal could be finalized. Rude, unprofessional and uncompromising.I was recently in escrow on a property in Ramona and had the displeasure of working with this Team of agents. My purchase was contingent on the sale of my home which was already in escrow when we placed our first offer on the property. The property I was looking to purchase had been on the market for almost 6 months when I made my first offer. Upon accepting my offer the team only accepted my offer under the condition that they could accept other offers as well. (This should have been a red flag for me in hindsight ) The buyers for my sale needed a 2 week extension while waiting for some tax manuscripts from the IRS. We kept in constant communication with the sellers team of agents and offered to release $2,000 of our $5,000 deposit as nonrefundable to compensate them for the delay. At this point in the transaction we had already spent $1,500 on inspections and appraisals that was also nonrefundable and had done more than our part to show good faith in our intentions to buy the home. My agent pleaded their team to work with us and they became rude, unprofessional and downright disrespectful. Bullying us to remove all contingencies (including the loan contingency they knew we couldnt remove until the close of our sale)BEWARE, THIS FIRM AND ITS EMPLOYEES ARE RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. DONT PLAN ON THEM COMPROMISING OR CONDUCTING BUSINESS IN ANY SORT OF PROFESSIONAL MANNER.
I have left numerous phone messages regarding one of their listings for an out of state client. Nobody returned my calls. I even left an urgent message and it wasnt returned. I called back again today... at least a week later and still, nobody is available. This is leading me to believe that they dont actually have the listings they post and do it for advertising only to get leads. Why else would they not accept a phone call from an agent who has a cash buyer?! This is making ME look unprofessional to my very close friend and neighbor clients who are relying on me to get them the house they want.

Tania Rivera is the best asset of Reef Point! The two month transaction towards closing an escrow on both my Scripps Ranch properties, which required refinance and purchase transactions simultaneously, proved to be quite challenging and unobtainable because I was dealing with a sleeping giant lender, Wells Fargo, whom I chose wholly initially as my lender and later dropped out. You see, I didn’t listen to Tania’s words of wisdom at first. When we first met she advised me not to go with a big bank like Wells Fargo and mentioned to get pre-approved with her preferred lender. Thereafter, when Wells Fargo couldnt close the transaction, she intercepted, redirected and intervened the course of events that follow after giving her my go signal. She allowed me to practice my rights as a homebuyer. She’s mastered the skills of a good real estate professional: attentive to details and discrepancies, available always to intervene, update, and project on all aspects of the process and lastly she is a good team player who willingly collaborates with a team of professionals who continually strive for quality results and outcomes. Because of her connections in the business, she knew the sellers lender and we were able to switch lenders at the end of the transaction which delayed the closing, but they were willing to work with us anyways and we were able to close on the refi and purchase simultaneously. On top of that, s also was able to negotiate $7,000 credit towards repairs. Thanks to her I was able to get my dream home and keep my other property as a rental. This woman can move mountains for you if you let her just like what she did for me! Thank you so much to Tania and the Reef Point team.

Working with Jamie, I just have to say one word.... BLEST. I have dealt with realtors before, and have used them to sell my property at one point, but working with Jamie is a different story. Other realtors I worked with don’t communicate well and it is understandable because they juggle with other priorities. But Jamie has good time management, and communicative skills, she will not leave you in the dark. If she is busy, she won’t hesitate to be honest and say, “let me get back with you,” and instead of of just leaving you in the dark, she literally gets back with you and updates you with the whole process.When working with Jamie; who comes in calm and collective, tells you it will be alright.... I got a text message from Brenda after an inquiry on their website. She asked me what time would be good to talk. I replied: around noon, to which she replied: perfect.I rearranged my plans just so I can be available and... nothing, no phone call, no text. I called around 1240 and no answer. Finally I received a phone call just before 3 PM. She apologized for not answering the phone because she was at the meeting. A simple text message would be great, so I could alter my plans but I got none. Not a good first impression when you trying to win someones business in this crowded real estate market. 2021-12-24Susan Green was my point of contact and lead agent of a team of professionals that sold my home above asking price in five weeks from start of active marketing to close of escrow! I had little to do except sign documents and describe to the buyer how to operate the hot tub. Susan is a hands-on manager who took charge and made things happen when they were supposed to happen including negotiations with buyer and buyers agent, settling issues that arose during marketing, supervising open-house, arranging house cleanup and many other details. She offered valuable advice when I needed it and she turned out consistently correct. I enjoyed working with the Reef Point team lead by Susan Green because they were so professional and so successful in selling my home!

2019-04-24I was introduced to John Reeves and his team a little while back when we decided to look into buying our first home for our family. I must say that this team was extremely knowledgeable and patient. I believe we looked at close to 30 houses before finding an off market property that ended up being perfect. John Reeves and his team helped make the process extremely smooth from initial offer to inspections and repair negotiations. 2019-05-09John Reeves is hands down the best real estate agent out there. He is incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, and passionate about what he does. He worked tirelessly to find me the perfect, then negotiated a better price on the home AND beat out other offers to get mine accepted. Through the entire process he never pressured me about any property, and he helped me identify if a property was truly the right choice for me. He went above and beyond to really help me evaluate the specifics of every house. He helped me evaluate all of the important details about the house itself, as well as the surrounding neighborhood, schools, expected appreciation of properties in the area, and many other things to help me make the right decision.
