Jimena met me at the entrance to the shop with a tablet to take down my personal information. She told me the oil change was $89.00!! I told her that online, Jiffy Lube oil change was $69.00 and I had a $12.00 coupon on my computer. She said their price went up. I told her I will not pay it. One of the managers came out to me and told me he would see what he could do to help me out with the price. I left with a price of $62.56. Mike told me that I probably wasnt on the Jiffy Lube website. They just changed the price to $89.00 a couple of weeks ago. I reviewed my Invoice at home and saw 2 items they charged me for which I didnt agree to have done: THROTTLE MSCL SYN HM ENG TREAT $14.99 and TM9259 FUEL INJECTOR CLEANER $9.99. That is $24.98 over the price of an oil change. I also noticed they checked my tire pressure to be 35psi front and rear. They got that reading from the door panel for stock tires. I have custom over-size tires and wheels on my jeep, which take more psi than 35psi and also have Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) installed on my valve stems. In order to check the air pressure, you have to remove the TPMS with 2 special wrenches. So I called Mike and asked if they removed the TPMS on the tire valve stems to check the air? He asked the guy who would have done that and he told him he did not remove the TPMS from the valve stems to check the air pressure. I came in to Jiffy Lube to get an Oil Change, not a full vehicle service with additives. I am not a happy customer. Verlyn

The service was great! The people are very nice, quick and efficient. I waited around 30 minutes for just a standard oil change so I was please at how fast it went. My only issue was how expensive it was! Just a standard oil change with synthetic oil was roughly $130. I’ve taken previous vehicles there before and have had the exact same service with synthetic oil and paid a little more than half that amount (same size vehicle). At any rate, I would still recommend because they were very good at what they did and treated me and my vehicle with respect. A+ service, slightly high prices, but worth it for the convenience and service quality.

NOTHING JIFFY ABOUT THIS PLACE. The staff are kind and friendly. They do not give you a list of services or cost. Even just for the oil change it took well over a. Hour. I needed a new serpentine belt, 4 hours later its still not done. The shop is closed now, my day the whole day was wasted. VALVOLINE ALL THE WAY plus they are cheaper, and faster across the board.
I was on a trip back from Big Sur with concerns about my tires and oil life. The crew was on point, they cleaned all the windshields and mirrors to help me see better. They were very thorough and even went out of their way to identify and replace a really bad tire, they drove 30mins away to get the tire. Thank you so much!

It was such an unexpected experience to be on the road and get such great service. I haven’t seen this in a long time. Their staff were so friendly and fun to talk to. Everyone was very professional and thorough, especially the girl with a very long hair and glasses. Was very nice and went over every detail including reminding me that they used my coupon to show everything was accounted for.

They answered my phone call promptly which I cant say for most car service places. Overall what stood out here is the friendliness especially from Ashley. I dont know much about cars but they were very accommodating and straightforward about pricing/what is absolutely necessary vs what is recommended. I got an oil change, tire rotation, and brake inspection an hour before closing. I like how you can drive through if you want and stay in the car, but the lobby is fine and the bathroom is nice, as is the outdoor waiting area. The waiting time was very short. Great work guys!
This was the best, most efficient group of people. Unfortunately, I have always been quite delinquent in getting my vehicles serviced in the past. This experience was so positive and carried so much bang for my buck that I will be at this particular Jiffy Lube as soon as my truck’s computer says it’s time from now on. The whole team worked together checking and topping off all levels, replaced windshield wiper blades, changed the oil and also replaced the turn signal/brake light that I needed! Discussed brake pads and timing for replacement. Overall, I was confident that I was getting quality materials for a very reasonable price.
Last visit in AG was a little disappointing. A lot of staff around for the amount of work being done. Best location locally was the Santa Maria store a few years ago, when it was staffed entirely by women. They showed a sense of urgency and got the work done fast…!
First visit was good. But My daughter took my car in to get the oil checked and fluids topped just a month after after the initial oil change. And she got charged for another oil change and sold wipers she didnt need. She spent $150.00 She didnt have to spend. I wish jiffy lube would have helped her with communication. We are really bummed with the sales service and not hearing what she really needed. You have my service record and with a minute of time your staff could have steered her in the right direction.

I went to get a vehicle inspection for Uber. The whole team was incredible. They communicated well together as well with myself. I was really impressed with their teamwork and level of professionalism. Although I didnt get my oil changed here ... This fantastic team of workers performed like a high level pit crew at a Nascar race while they changed my oil, ran diagnostics on many of my cars systems, parts, etc., patiently answered my questions, and did so much more (customers gets an extensive, detailed readout/list of their work, checks, etc.) - all the while performing their duties very, very efficiently, professionally, warmly, and knowledgeably.Kudos to Jiffy Lube for rehabilitating their reputation and offering this wonderful service to our town; we are very lucky to have this wonderful alternative to local mechanics shops, which, unfortunately, in my experience this past year, have often resisted mask-wearing despite the obvious and sometimes vocal discomfort of their customers.Added bonus in the time of Covid: customers sit comfortably in their own cars the whole time, after they simply drive up to the line without an appointment.

Confusing people didnt seem very interested in there job. Ive been a mechanic for over 40years and i know what Im talking about. They showed me the air filter said needed a new one it was still good I said no if i dont want synthetic oil i dont use it. Wont even put heaver oil in to help high mileage engines. No thanks
While the service at that moment in time was great, the overall experience was not.I came in for a basic oil change and left being told there was an additional issue. Came back a few days later to get that issue fixed and paid several hundred dollars. At the end of that issue being fixed, I was coincidently told that there was another issue they just found out about that was on the same side of the car where the repair was being done and that that would cost me almost $500 more dollars to fix.I took my car to get a second opinion and surely enough, the issue this jiffy lube wanted to charge me almost $500 for, was not an issue at all! And In fact the new noise I was hearing Only after the repair was due to some maneuvering Of parts that was done during the repair.While I am thankful for the service I received, I will not be going back to jiffy lube. I understand that mistakes are made and time are tough right now. But as a business, taking advantage of a customer just to make more money is NOT the way and completely unacceptable. Honesty and integrity go a long way. I don’t usually write out reviews but I am not happy about this and if I can save someone the headache and money to not go through this situation or something similar I will.
Very good customer service at this location.Under COVID restrictions customer stays in car during service and customer drives car into the bay where service is provided which I thought was a bit scary. They changed oil and checked tire treads which I knew were not good and recommended new tires. Gave only 4 stars because they wore masks but were closer than 6 ft during communication.

I was on my way to work with limited time and they got me in and out in record time while replacing all my light bulbs and washing all my windows. Everyone was very nice, while being extra careful during covid, everyone had masks on And kept distance. They also found an extra $20 coupon for me at check out. I’ve been bringing this car to them for the entire time it’s been in my family, when ever a service number comes on for anything, tire rotation, engine oil, Airfilter, oil change, brake light replacement, or whatever, it’s always easy to drive thru and get things taken care of fast and more affordable than the dealer.

Was there over 2 hrs and noticed 4 different Jiffy Lube employees wiping off the drivers side cab area of my truck. I know they clean your windows but this seemed weird / excessive. When I went to pay was told I have some good news / bad news Something broke and we got oil all over the side of your truck and the good news is you get a free car wash. Never told me what happened until it was time to pay as of course they held my keys. Them smearing oil into my trucks paint for an >hour and not telling me is criminal. If I could leave negative feedback I would, dont go to Central Coast Jiffy Lube...complete idiots.
Didnt have to wait long, they got right to my car. There was a little trouble with the oil gasket and it leaked some oil but they fixed it and cleaned the engine! John was very professional and gave great service! I will continue to go there for my oil changes!
With covid its a new experience. You stay in your car, drive into the bay and get all the services done without ever getting out.Staff was very communicative about what they were doing and why. They were doing it.

I was met at my car by a young man with a face maskThey now talk to you through the passenger window. A nice young woman came up with a ipad, she was wearing gloves and face mask too. She found all my information and told me the price. All I had to do was walk away to my waiting husband’s car. We went home, got a call That car was done and when I went back all I had to do was get in my car and drive away ( I paid by credit card by phone).This was easy and safe. So glad I chose jiffy lube for my oil change!!

I went here the other day and they were unable to do my oil change because of a bad oil leak. They took the time to call a mechanic down the road to get a fixed right away. They didnt even charge me for the oil they put in to make sure I made it over there. Highly recommended.

We werent entirely sure what to expect because weve had bad experiences at jiffy lube in arroyo grande before but we came across a gentleman named TIM NEUMAN and he is honestly the best person weve ever come across to help with our vehicles. He not only made us feel comfortable but he also treated us as if the vehicle was his own. he gave us honest and true opinions about what was and wasnt wrong with a vehicle and he didnt try to haggle us to pay more things and purchase things we didnt need to we felt like he truly cared about the condition of our vehicle and hes officially made friends with us for life! Thank you so much! We will be forever coming to jiffy lube as long as TIM is there to help us!

Be careful with Groupon vouchers. This place will only honor them if you are a new customer. The old read the fine print trick. They did give me a discount however to offset some of the cost. $50 voucher on an $80 synthetic oil change turned into $65. I feel cheated. Maybe I should go to another place as a new customer next time.

Terrible and rude customer service. They also misdiagnosed my car after inspecting it and recommended I fix a problem I did not have. They also didnt notice I needed new front breaks. This is all because Uber forces its drivers to get a vehicle inspection at this place. Every-time I go here the management seems to change. Its an indication employees dont want to stay here. I highly recommend Beach Front Auto. Its one of the few honest auto shops in town apparently.

Everyone seemed courteous and professional enough, but the whole ordeal took way longer than I would have expected from a place with a name like jiffy lube.
Customer service was good but my brake fluid was not topped off and one of my engine bay brace bolts were left very loose.

**updated review**I used Groupon for jiffy lube and it was awesome and is the reason they got 2 stars. The jiffy lube has gone way down hill. They are slow and customer service has changed and is horrible. The person at the register should not be there or be the representative for jiffy lube. If you are going to go get an oil change there get the Groupon and be prepared to wait a minimum of an hour and a half. They didnt even open my door for me and just left the keys in the ignition.Was it a horrible experience? No was it a fantastic experience? No it was just getting my oil changed.

I dont know how you mess up an oil change.. My service engine soon light came on, was not reseted, its been 2 days since I got my oil change. I pull up to work to hear a ticking sound from my heads.. I check the oil..and its bone dry... You people could have blown my motor... Wow. Last time I go here!. If you other people were smart you wouldnt even try it!
Why does it take so long to have the counter salesman write you up? I dont care for the up sale of a coupon booklet. Glad to have found out the corporate office is in Texas did in the future I will find a local place or do it myself. Two bays and still over an hour for an oil change. Opposite of Jiffy, should be called Tardy Lube. Second time as well as my last time.

2022-03-06The line was short and I was friendly greeted by Mike who not only got me exactly what I was looking for but recommended the premier package since that would be the same cost as my truck required extra oil anyway due to its large engine size.Some people may get leery about finding the right shop to service their vehicle as they fear aggressive sales tactics. That is not the case with this jiffy lube store.Mike rocks!My 2nd visit was just as nice. I enjoyed sitting at the patio table while waiting for my vehicles maintenance

2022-05-15I was in and out on a Saturday morning. There were 3 cars ahead of me but they wrapped them all up and still got me out within about 30 min. Everyone was very friendly and they did a through inspection on my car. They even topped off al my fluids and made sure my wiper fluid light and oil change light were both reset. The price was right, especially for the great service and the coupons they give you toward your next visit.

2022-08-19I was in the area from out of town when my oil change light came on. As I was leaving the next morning for a six hour trip, I wanted to get the oil changed before I left town.I was waited on immediately by the service writer and very soon my car was being attended to by multiple employees. Service was great and everyone was friendly and professional.I would suggest Jiffy Lube to anyone needing to have their car serviced.

2022-08-09My mom brings her car here for anything that might be wrong and they always do a great job! This time it was me who had to bring my car in and same service I observed when my mom came in. They asked about the filters and if I wanted them replaced. They did really great work and they’re the cheapest in town. At least I think so. Either way they are really cheap and great for annual check ups. Smog checks. Smaller stuff like that

2022-04-02I came here expecting basic oil change but was very impressed with how thoroughly they went over everything they checked. A good team at this place. Not the normal upsell push. Just suggested what was due for service, changed the oil and rotated tires. I’ll be taking my 3500 Cummings to them next. Left there thinking I should write a review.

2022-05-21Guys are very nice. Someone left a oil pan under the hood and they called me back to bring it in. They removed a skid plate to retrieve it. Spilled oil under. Had to clean up mess. I had some groceries that needed to be refrigerated. I threw them away. I rate them 1 star. 😡

2022-04-20Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience here where one of the workers tried to scam me. I brought my car for an oil change and was told I had a leak that needed a very costly repair. I know nothing about cars so I almost went through with it and had them repair it because I was told it was a dangerous leak. Thankfully, I decided I would go and get a quote at another place first. They looked at my car and told me there is no leak and no evidence of there ever being one. They also told me Jiffy Lube frequently tries to take advantage of people who don’t know much about cars. I would not recommend doing any business with them and I will be reporting them to the Bureau of Automotive Repair.
