I have taken my cars to this location on multiple occasions and have always received excellent service. However, the reason I continued to return was for the customer care. The technician and customer service rep were great. They explained everything my car needed and future services my car may require. This recent experience was quite the opposite. It felt very rushed and little to no communication was had. I hope this is a one off and the customer service improves.
Guys! Very good work on your team! You were on top of your jobs! I really loved how you brought out a new case of oil, and opened new quarts of oil, right in front of me! Nice, as opposed to other reviews, left no doubts! Checked everything else, and didnt try to sell me any other unnecessary services or material! Okay...now, yes, they are pricey, but you get what you pay for! Very good job for a good group of professionals! I will be returning!
Guillermo was amazing! Everytime I go to Jiffy Lube, Guillermo always makes sure Im taken care of. Definitely would recommend this location to anyone who is on a tight schedule and needs an oil change done both swiftly, and correctly. Great value and my oil change was done in 30 minutes!!!!!
Turns out the mechanic didnt tighten my oil cap correctly on Friday and Ive been unknowingly driving my car without a cap on til Monday afternoon. The service engine light went on and feels like a few misfires. Thank you, Jiffy Lube for possibly $500-700 in repairs. Bought a new cap tho.
Im not sure that any of the team have been trained. One staff person almost had me move my car forward, after the pit had drained my oil. They yelled from below to not start the car. Another person spilled about a quart of oil on the motor. I smelled burning oil all the way homeIts too bad because Ive always gotten good service at jiffy lube, but I wont be returning to this location.
I was referred here and Im glad! I hadnt made an appointnent, but needed an oil change on a Sunday afternoon before heading back to LA. So I stopped by and they took great care of me. Naomi was wonderful! She had a great attitude, was friendly, professional, and informative. I felt comfortable handing her my keys. The guys who worked on my car were quick with the oil change and a radiator flush. They even informed me of what is recommended for my next visit to keep my car running smoothly. These guys are pleasant, professional, fast, and upfront. I was very pleased with the service I received today. I will be coming back and would refer to friends and family. I was on a rush so I stopped here thinking it was going to be a fast oil change, which was not. I asked the employee how long the wait was and he stated that he was going to start working on my car, opened up my hood and then walked away. I waited for like 15 mins then he came back closed the hood and told me to drive forward now that the other car was gone. I feel that opening my hood from the start was just a way for him to keep me from leaving. Anyway, I moved my car forward and still waited like 15 more mins and finally someone started working on my car. I only went in for an oil change so I thought it was weird that one of the employees brought my air filter to me to try to upsell me by telling me that it was dirty. I denied because I saw it was fine. When I drove off I noticed that the check engine light came on so I was forced to drive back and waste more time. Once there, a different guy checked my car and he explained that my air filter was placed incorrectly. I wonder if that was purposely done because I said no to buying a new air filter or if it was a tactic for me to later come back thinking that I need more work done on my car. At first I didn’t mind paying a little extra here because I thought it was going to be like a 20 min stop, but if I would’ve known I was going to waste more than an hour and end up with a bad experience then I should’ve just went to a regular mechanic for the oil change.
Unfortunately this was not what I expected at Jiffy Lube. I came in for a fuel injector cleaning offered on their website. I explained what I was there for & then waited 30 mins before pulling forward. They opened the hood & unplugged a few hoses, then at this point they realized they did not know how to perform the service on my car. What? Yes, sorry for the inconvenience since the car is a hybrid. I went to Pep Boys & they completed the service!
The Fellas at jiffy Lube are courteous, well trained and professional.There is a new team member, a yung lady, with an impecable uniform, courtious, and efficient, checking tire pressure, cleanining windows, directing cars onto the bay, taking in data, the Fellas as usual, double checking with clear communication, giving advise on parts replacement for better performance, I go there every oil change, always efficient, courtious, consistant.
They asked if I can give the name of a specific employee that deserves recognition. Actually they all deserve credit, no job is easy. Not all employees help at the same time but they’re all helpful, nice, knowledgeable, thorough, efficient. I give all of them a 5 star rating.
Pulled up, barely got out of my car before a smiling face said, oil change? And got started. I sat down for maybe 5 minutes before it was done. It was slightly pricier than my previous oil changes (at other companies) but they have good coupons and the efficiency was worth a few extra bucks.
I went in to Jiffy Lube on 6/27/19 because my car battery kept dying and I knew I needed an oil change. Lisa greeted me as I walked up and was extremely polite. She listened to everything I was explaining was wrong without interrupting. She offered me coffee and showed me where I could wait. Lisa went over the different types of oils and batteries and gave me some recommendation to do in the future. I didnt feel like she was trying to up-sell me like I feel most place do. Rogelio changed my oil, battery, and air filter in just 30 minutes. Lisa gave me a discount on my battery as well. All said and done this was some of the most amazing customer service I have seen in a long time. I was just in awe of the service I received here and will definitely be back!!!!! Thank you!
Didnt do what I had requested. Asked for an electronic diagnosis but got a different service. We had agreed on a price before the work was done. The mechanic was able to solve the problem in short amount of time and fixed two other issues that the vehicle had without authorization.
I highly recommend NOT to do business with this jiffy lube for the following reasons:(1) They began to look for things wrong with the car that were not faulty, like a perfectly good wiper they wanted me to replace to charge me more; (2) They apparentky refilled my oil change not from new clean oil from above, but from oil that they brought up in jugs from below, that they captured from draining another vehicle ( I am assuming this because they gave no reasonable explanation for not using oil from hoses from top side), management become belligerent when I questioned their practice and why they did not use the top side oil hoses; (3) They failed my car inspection to possibly use for Uber initially saying bumperr was loose ( they had pulled bumper from where it snaps in). I went back and saw manager and he rewrote vehicle passed. And instead of apologizing he said I should not come back. Point number 2 above if true constitutes consumer fraud. Somebody should look into this with more detail .
I just got an oil change from these guys and they really took care of me. They recommended flushing out the radiator and my engine,but gave me a $30 discount. I brought a $10 discount and forgot to give it to them, but the guy reminded me. They provided extra services like vacuuming my car for me and even fixing my messed up door when I asked them to check it out. Ed helped me. He was great.
Quick, friendly, and professional! I love how dedicated this team is to taking care of their customers. Been coming every few months for 3 years, and have never had a less than stellar experience. For something that can be so impersonal and tedious - they’ve managed to make each visit a pleasure! Keep rockin’ it!
I had a terrible experience here. First, the employees are all tattooed and look like felons (I know, not fair to judge. But I wouldnt feel comfortable sending my wife or teenage daughter there.). There was a lot of yelling, joking and playing around out in the shop. Employees kept coming into the office and making comments about whos pizza was siting on the desk. There were pizza sauce stains on the paper work. I was shown my cabin air filter and it needed to be replaced. Between the oil change and cabin air filter, it cost me $150. This is after a $25 discount they gave me. Pay very close attention to the price board. It says, Starting at meaning you will be paying more than the posted price. The vacuum job they did was terrible. I felt like for the premium I paid, I didnt receive the level of service I should have. Additionally, I dont feel that the employees conducted themselves professionally for the price point. I could have taken my car to the dealership and paid the same price I was trying to avoid. I could have done it myself for at least half the cost, if not more. I will not be going back and I would strongly suggest others avoid going there too. I will take my three vehicles else where.
I really like this place because theyre so fast! And they really help you when you dont know anything about cars, like me.I went to get an oil change 2 weeks ago and they didnt reset the algorithm to not get that quote saying that I need to change the oil, so I got that light in my board and I was so scared because I tought something was wrong with my car and first thing i thought it was i dont want to spend more money BUT I went I explained myself, they checked the oil and whatever it was following and they did the correct procedure and Im totally fine with it because maybe they just forgot. I dont have that quote in my car again, and this happened 3 days ago.
I took my car in december. There was someone who open my car and asked what type of service i needed. I didnt want to say anything but he smelled like alcohol and perfume and he was sweating alot. Then someone else with a burgandy shirt not sure if he was a supervisor or not he had curly hair was standing there on his cell phone for the whole time my car was getting serviced.. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. It was so expensive over 100$
Its Monday and they supposed to be open by the 7am nobody there , I need to get my oil change early and on time since I have to work at 11am but again there sing says open from 7am to 8 pm, I wont be back and good luck to all of you trying to get your oil change early.
Do not use this location. First they put too much oil in my truck, didn’t ask me what size engine. 2nd over charged me for fuel filter cleaning and tried to make it worse by loosing more buildup in my gas tank by banging on it with a hammer. And definitely don’t go to Pablo his recommended contact for more work. Total Scam!!!
I LOVE THIS LOCATION!! Great pricing, great mechanics and theyre FAST!! Andy is sucha gem- got me out the door quickly on a stressful day and filled me experience with smiles! When I came in and asked how long it would be, I was told 20 minutes. I went across the street to eat, and came back in 25. They didnt even start yet. I asked to leave without getting anything done, but they assured me they would get it in and finish ASAP. They did do that, and they did a good job. They wont work unless you are there hounding them, so three stars it is.
It took forever to change my oil and they put my oil filter on wrong so my oil was gushing out when I started my car so I lost about half a quart of oil that I brought in myself and he topped it off with a different brand of oil which I would never do to my car overall my experience was horrible and wouldn’t take my business there again.
Please make sure you check your oil before leaving this Jiffy Lube in Chula Vista. My daughter needed an oil change, her and a friend went to this Jiffy Lube on E Street, they were in and out very quit only to find out a few days later when the oil light came back on that there was on oil in her car!!!!!. I was soooooo mad because she could have been leaving to go out of town and who knows what would have happened. Very sad, how they took advantage of her, we adults are supposed to mentor and help this younger generation NOT take advantage of them and the money they work so hard for. They had no problem taking her money:-( I am very disappointed with this Jiffy Lube in Chula Vista at 593 E street.
I am a 21 year old female and i went to jiffy lube for an oil change because they fill all you fluids and clean your car( as it is posted on their website and in their store). it took them 10 minutes. when i got home my husband check over the car and nothing but the oil was changed and now there is a leak in my car. we called them and they have no clue what we are talking about they offer me a free oil change but how can i trust them with another oil change when thy didnt even get the first one done right. i feel it was very unprofessional to take advantage of me as a women. the worst part is there was 2 other women in line behind me. JIFFYLUBE WAS VERY DISSATISFYING.
I had moved from UTC to Chula Vista. Back then, I would take my car to the Jiffy Lube on Miramar Road (which also had good service). Hence, why I take my car to Jiffy Lube. When I brought my car in for service the first time, I asked Luis (the manager) to double check everything because I was going to San Francisco and Yosemite. He, of course, double checked everything, but I did something, which I never normally do....I upgraded! I upgraded to the high mileage oil because my car had 148,000 miles. I could tell the difference and glad that I did. However, when I came back (and 1,000 miles later), my oil light came on. Apparently, I had burned two quarts of oil. But, Jiffy Lube topped it off for free (which is part of their service) and I will gladly take my car in, again. Now, to figure out why my Toyota Solara 2008 keeps burning oil.... I did take it to the Toyota Dealership in Kearney Mesa and did the test (driving around for 1,500 miles) and they said it was normal. However, I believe there is a problem with mine, which should deem a class-action lawsuit, even though Toyota says theres nothing wrong. #JiffyLube #Toyota
After I took my car for an oil change, they told me I needed to fix something else in my car. After I paid over 100 dollars to fix it my car began overheating which it never did before and after taking it to a different place my mechanic informed me they only made the problem worse.
One thing that really irritates me is when you call a place to ask simple questions to help you decide if you want to do business there and noone answers the phone. I know theyre open cause I drove past earlier. Now Im trying to call and see what wait times are looking like and noone answers the phone. Just rings not even a answering machine with hours. Just ringing. Well Ill take my money elsewhere.
Oil change service.Requested to check tire pressure twice and both technician claimed they were check but air pressure on tires was the same as when I first came to facility.Warning oil change on dashboard was no reset after changing oil.Save your self a bad experience and go somewhere else

2022-06-15Quick update: These guys really dont care. Still no response from corporate. Just a canned/ generic response. Owner couldnt or would not respond personally. Will never use this or any JL ever again. Many more pros out there willing to do a good job.Bad customer service response from corporate..This shop needs to train there oil techs about excessive force on the drain plugs of F250s when tightening. Just returned home after 4000 miles on the road and needed another oil change. My local shop said I was lucky the plug didnt fall out, as it was stripped and finger tight at best.....Luckily they were able to tap the hole larger with new threads and install a larger plug. Would have destroyed the engine, to loose all the oil as I drove across country. If they use power tools, they need to slow down and stop their use on drain plugs.....

2022-06-10I use to like this location, but last time I was here the service was not exceptional. That is the reason they were my last resort oh so I thought. The employee told me to park behind a van that was being serviced, I should have asked how long? Well they finished one car, than a second car & I was still waiting? Just horrible, horrible service. For sure not going back ever!

2022-03-09In late December I went to this jiffy lube to get an oil change and they recommended I also get a transmission flush. First of all I feel like they didnt even do an oil change because when I looked at my oil a month later it was all dark and super low. Second, after the transmission flush my transmission started slipping so I had to get it rebuilt and then to top it all off, Im sure they also didnt do my radiator flush because my fluid was brown when I went to go check on it. Everyone seemed nice but 350 dollars later my car wasnt running the same. Changing the oil is one thing but knowing about vehicles is a completely different thing. Also after my oil change yall didnt even give me sticker to put on my vehicle. Never going to any jiffy lube ever again
