My little cousin came in there with a 2009 vw jetta and they charged her $158 for an oil change because she needed “European oil”… Way to go guys you took advantage of a younger female who had no idea about vehicles. Make sure if your a female check with someone about cars before you go to this location. These people should be ashamed of themselves.
Before I could discuss cost or what service I want my air filter was out and I have a broken clip on my air filter box. Worst experience I have ever had with any auto service. The prices and suggested/recommended by the system service is astronomical in price as well. Never again. This is a follow up. So the owner responded on the review page, but after emailing him back crickets. It is an internet illusion, you read my review and see the owner responded quickly. You think this owner really cares, and maybe I should give him a try. Attention customers I have only reviewed 2 businesses, I do not write review for fun. My experience was bad and now the false public concern. This is a very savvy owner doing as little as possible to fix a system he most likely implemented. Beware this location is bad. Sears was fantastic.
Great place. They dont pressure you into buying anything. Its all up to you, if you want the service or not. Never felt bullied into getting my service. I just wished I could have got it done with them the last time. Cause Break Master scraped my bolt to do the oil change. But jiffylube really help out with it. Highly recommend
BUYER BEWARE!!!! I stopped at Jiffy Lube because of Sign Posted, “Oil Change $29.99”. However, when the Sales/Tech Rep wrote the Quote/Work Order, he entered $107. I asked how come the Oil Change was now $107 instead of the Advertising on the building of $29.99. He said that’s for the Cheapest Oil and it was Conventional Oil, which he knew from the beginning my car did not take. My car requires 5-20 Full Synthetic and I wanted their Best. The word ‘Best’ made price go even higher. I told him the Dealership had quoted me $75 one time or $149 for a package deal of three (3) changes. He told me the Best Price was $82. I decided to just get it done, since I was already in the Pit. However, the Work Order he provided me had the $107 price listed. I questioned it and he told me to sign it and upon completion he would adjust the rate to the agreed upon $82. SUSPICIOUS Hugh???? I then asked him to write the $82 price quote on the Work Order. He said he could not do that. I said, I would not proceed with the Oil Change unless he changed the computer generated Work Order pricing to reflect $82 or simply handwriting the $82 quote on the invoice. After repeating myself a few times and telling him I was going to go to the Dealership for the service, he reluctantly scribbled the $82 on invoice. I then asked him to initial it, just as he had me sign the invoice. He was obviously upset, but scribbled something next to the $82. Then, I asked to see the Oil Containers of the fancy synthetic oil I had purchased. He told me that he could not show me the container because it is stored under the Pit. I told him the oil had to be put into the engine above the Pit, under the hood of my car, into my engine and I’d like to see the transfer of the selected Brand and Grade of oil going into my engine from the factory container. He said he could not do that. SUSPICION #2 !!! Then, he reluctantly told the guy under my car what I wanted, as if he had not heard our entire conversation. The guy in the Pit gave the Service Writer/Tech a box of oil which label did match the Oil that I had selected. I then asked the Tech to pour the oil in their acceptable manner from the Factory container directly into my engine as I watched, to verify receiving the Product I had purchased. He again said, he could not do that. He told me that only the guy in the Pit can pour the oil into their can, which in turn he is given and then pours the into my engine. SUSPICION # 3 !!! I wonder what other “Switch and Bait” might be occurring under the car, in the Pit, consistent with the “Switch and Bait” Advertising on their building about the pricing. All the while, the guy in the Pit was moving about under my car making noises consistent with metal to metal wrenching, which I had told him to stop several times as I demanded my car to be removed from the ramp of the Pit. I certainly hope I do not have new mechanical issues arising out of my Visit to this store as with other Google and Yelp reviews alleged happened to them. Needless to say, I asked them to stop servicing my car and I left. I’ll be monitoring my driveway for leaks which were not present before my visit to Apple Valley, Hwy 18, Jiffy Lube. Despite the convenient location of this Jiffy Lube Store, I will drive to Victorville to have my Oil Changed.
Ive visited other jiffy lubes but i keep coming back here. The most professional and speedy services. Theyre never pushy. I had a transmission flush and oil change in 30 min, all with plenty of time to get to work. They finished before I finished my makeup! LolThanks guys, happy hump day!Dustin and David were super helpful and answered all my questions about my tires and oil.
The staff were very professional and also because the car that i was getting service didnt take the standard oil it took synthetic oil they let me know that oil was more expensive before proceeding to put it in the car. The also gave me a discount and the service was very quick. I thank you
I asked how long the wait was, I was told less than 15min. I ended up waiting 30min. Then when Dustin brought up my car specs for my requested oil change, he tells me they dont carry the low mileage standard oil, only the pricey synthetic which was almost 3xs the cost. Good job tryin to pull a fast one.
They want to much money for an oil change. Trying to tell me that they can only put synthetic oil. In addition wanted almost 100 dollars for the oil change. With a coupon told me the best they can do is 80. I priced the oil anyone can at any auto parts store 5qts about 40 bucks oil filter 15. Does not take almost 50 dollars for the labor. In addition, had apparently decided that they would abuse my vehicle as they pulled it into the garage the revved the engine. There is no mechanical reason to do this. It only puts extra wear on my vehicle. Would not recommend to my enemies.
My boyfriend and I went in today to get our transmission fluid changed and we were helped by Dustin, who was so awesome!! He was very helpful and answered all of our questions. We told him we smelled a burning smell and he checked it out for us and told us that we had a plastic bag stuck in our tailpipe, he took it out for us and no more burning smell! They were all very friendly and helpful, we will definitely go back! Thanks again Dustin and the rest of the crew!!
Very friendly and provides swift service. Add extras not asked for, i.e. wash windows, checkpressure on all tires, vacuum carpets in van, top off windshield wiper fluids, top off radiator with anti freeze fluids at no extra charge. Havent been there in years but now the only place I will go..Also, if your oil level drops before the next 3000 miles change, they will top it off at no charge !!.
This is the first time I have come to this Jiffy Lube and had a positive experience. They usually try to sell me more service than I need. I came in for the oil change at 19.99 and actually paid just the $21.00 I should have. WOW! They informed me this time but I was determined not to get more than my $30,000.00 car needed. I usually could write a novel about the unfortunate experience I have had here but not this time. This time it went okay.
Ive been to this jiffy a few times. BUT THE LAST TIME WILL BE MY LAST TIME.DUE NOT BUY A BATTERY FROM THEM.I bought one when the last manager was there very nice Man. And the service guys are very nice. But my battery went DEAD Took it in they checked it out battery test showed it was dead on Arrival,...The Manager Now or Owner not sure was a complete Jack A$$ told me he had to call get it okd and then turned around and started treating me as if I did something wrong. Out of the blue starts saying I cant give you the extended warranty cause you take it out to change you head light and just started coming up with all kinds of excuses. After he told me he would give me half the extended warranty. His service guys were even looking like why you talking to her like that.I finally said whatever just let me sign my paper so I can get out of here.By time I left I was crying I had done nothing different to that battery than any other battery Ive ever bought from anywhere.
This place does not deserve a star at all!! Theyre scammers!!! Waste of money my car still acts funny. Yea they act all nice and friendly to make you feel comfortable like theyre doing a good job on your car!! Heck no !! And synthetic oil is every expensive I bet they put the cheapest oil in my car and kept the cash . WARNING DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!
I went in today and was greeted by kind and courteous people. They let me know what needed to be serviced and showed me PROOF. Which most shops do not. Their recommendations for extra services are computer generated by the manufacturers specifications not necessarily because they are trying to give you services you dont need. Overall a really great experience.
Went to Wal-Mart this morning and was quoted $73 for Full Synthetic oil change and wipers but there was a long wait so I just bought the wipers. Then I decided to try out this Jiffy Lube. Big BIG mistake! I ended up paying $119.50 for a Full Synthetic oil change and an oil filter (which wasnt even with the most expensive oil choice)I was supposed to get $25 off which I even didnt get. When I pointed it out to the cashier/manager he said next time hell give it to me. However, next time Ill just wait at Wal-Mart.
The great day and I were in there they werent open I pulled right into give you the option to sit in your car or you can wait inside but that my car I checked for everything let me know what was blowing what was weekend and how much I had of each type of liquids and I want to hear for an oil change great job do you work for the win the windows on the outside of the car I would go back again thank you
I took my 2009 Chevrolet Aveo in to get the oil changed and they told me the drain plug was stripped. The said they used the right hex drive and I said it takes a torque drive. The drain plug was in perfect condition when I took it in because I was the last one to change the oil. Took my car home, got the correct tool and removed the drain plug. They lied straight to my face and said it was stripped when I brought it in. They used the wrong tool trying to remove it. Dont trust them!!!
!!!BEWARE!!!!!!SCAMMERS!!!Told I had metal shavings and excessive engine sludge only to be scammed into them telling me I needed a $120 oil change package and full synthetic even though my car takes conventional 5w-20. Took my car to the dealership to get checked out since it’s practically a brand new car and they said these things and nothing was wrong. They attempted to con the person behind me too by saying the same thing. This is the last time I will ever take my car to a jiffy lube.
Told me I had to use synthetic oil or sign a release because the manufacturer says to use it. The release turned out to be a standard authorization to perform work. Upselling is ok I guess. Most people know how Jiffy Lubes work. But not L.I.E.ing. (Thats short for Little Innocent Exaggerations). After paying the bill they told me I had an oil leak. Sure enough, there was an oil from the car on my driveway the next day. Three weeks and $65 dollars later, I discovered the oil filter was loose by about half a turn, causing the leak. Thinking back, I realize I should have hidden my displeasure at the L.I.E.s better.Owner, no thanks on making it up to me. Look to your business practices. Leadership and responsibility start at the top.
Fast service, very very nice. They will try and sell you on a product but its alright they wont push it; its obvious its part of there policy to try and sell to you.as long as you know what you need, they will get it done. I enjoyed my experience and got what I wanted( go in knowing what you need)
Took my 2013 GMC pickup in for a service .The next day I had a oil leak I took it back they told me the transmission pan gasket was leaking. I informed them that my truck has never leaked oil. I checked my transmission pan gasket myself and eight bolts were lose. Humm.... I will never take any of my vechiles there again.
On 8/5/2013 I went to this Jiffy Lube to have the oil changed in my car. They are running a special 19.95 includes the oil. I tell them I have my own oil (Mobil 1) that I would like to use instead but I still will pay the full price for the change not expecting anything less. The person comes back to me (after I have waited in the lobby area) about 10 minutes later saying that becuase I have my own oil the cost will be $40.00. What?? I dont understan is it the cost to dispose of the synthetic oil?? Is that why you are charging more?? No, he replies its becuase of the additives in the synthetic oil??? What??? I still dont understand I tell him but I have my own oil I am not buying it from you??????? Sorry he tells me that is the price becuase I bought my own oil and am not purchasing it from them???? I still dont understand anyone out there that can explain this to me that would be great!!!
Im currently here at the moment and as Ive patiently waited for an hour for a simple oil change i have whitnessed Erick the man who is supposed to be in charge send over 5 customers out stating he cant change there oil for one reason or another,he then decided to tell me he couldnt change my oil after waiting an hour because his computer is down,he wanted to send me ro anothe jiffy lube, his service was horrible and he had a very bad attitude, ill never return here again nor will i recommend this place to anyone
This place is just out to get your money. We had our bottom fill transmission need fluid on vacation, and a Jiffy Lube in Colorado Springs did it for $11. This place wouldnt do it at all without an expensive and unneeded transmission service because of store policy... At least they saved us a drive on our slipping transmission by telling us the other Jiffy Lube in town was the same way. Find a local shop to give your money to.
The asst. mgr. (JIMMY?)with the dishoveld hair is very sarcastic. I decided to not have my oil changed here and left because of his sarcasim. It was the second time that I experienced this and with the same guy. I will never go back and it is less than 1 1/2 miles from where I live. I go to the JL in Hesperia, apprx 8 miles from where I live.I am contacting the district mgr/Luis to complain.
This is the worse jiffy lube Ive ever been to I have been to many in last 6yrs did not vac clean windows put air in tires I will be going to pep boys from now on every time I go to a jiffy I use the top grade of oil my bill is 70 dollars and that is with a military discount
Dont go to jiffy lube i recently took my car in to get a oil change prior to that i got all my under the hood leaks taken care of as soon as i take it there to get my oil changed i have leakage under my car now and took it back and is still leaking PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE IT IS A RIP OFF

2022-06-20My husband and I both have had the oil changed on our vehicles dozens of times at Jiffy Lube throughout the years and have never experienced any problems. They have always been fast and efficient and very pleasant to deal withand their prices are extremely reasonable.

2022-04-09I usually go to the dealer but there weren’t any appts so I thought why not get a quick oil change down the street. These guys are shady I have a 2017 Camry and they told me it’ll be 107$ for and oil change. I had a coupon and the guy said it can’t be used at this franchise. He then shows me a dirty air filter that wasn’t from my car and tried to sell me one for $40 to increase my gas mileage and performance when in reality it was a $10 autozone filter. What really did it is when they said my oils filter was stuck on and it would be another $70 dollars to fix the issue cause it will break if they remove it. At that point I just told them never mind to give my keys back and I’ll go elsewhere. This place needs to be investigated cause they are surely scamming people.

2022-07-16The manager was nice and the short Mexican guy was cool . It’s a younger white guy that’s lazy he shut my hood without putting the top back on my engine. And the other guy had to tell him to open it and put it back on . Why would he do that ? So weird trying to steal parts or Just lazy either way unacceptable I’ will not be returning for that reason,

2022-07-17Ulysses and Julian were amazing! They were quick, attentive, and explained “car talk” in a way that made total sense to me (I know very little). There was a great promotional for an oil change going on ($21.99). They filled up my tires, made me aware of any slight issues my car may have but didn’t pressure me at all (which I really appreciate). I also got to stay in my car the whole time too. I will be bringing my other car here for an oil change! Highly recommend!Update on my second car: Elias and Mario did a wonderful job as well! Highly recommend this place!Updated: I’ve been multiple more times and still highly recommend this place!
