Awesome experience! We didn’t get to swim in the cavern which was a bummer and not much to do on the island but we still had a great time. Beware of the blisters you will get on your thumbs!!

The jet ski is great and the staff is friendly. The trip to Catalina is amazing. You can see dolphins. The one in long beach is also good and you can drive really fast! Enjoy!

Our experience with Jet Ski 2 Catalina was awesome. Our guides were Anthony and Drew and they made the whole trip a lot of fun. Our ski sucked something up and broke down in the middle of the water but they brought us out another ski and in no time we were back on the move towards Catalina. I would love to do it again. I highly recommend this outing but keep in mind it’s intense! Be ready for a workout (the funnest workout you ever had).
What an experience! We were super nervous about booking a date, but with the positive reviews, We decided to YOLO. My partner and I rented one jet ski.Arrival: My partner and I arrived at 7:30 am. Make sure to come with your wet-suits on. If you dont have one, I recommend you to buy one on Amazon for less than $100 (thats what we did), and you will not be changing in the restrooms or on the side of the dock. They also provide wet-suits.Departing: We departed from LBC between 8:15 am-8:25 am. You are divided into two groups. We were the first group to leave. You have two people guiding the tour. One is directing the front and the other one stays in the back-making sure no one stays behind.Process: We made about 3-4 stops going and coming back. During those stops, youre able to jump off the jet ski and get into the water. We also swam through a cave. Man! That water was difficult to swim through. It kicked our butts, and I was reconsidering getting swimming lessons.Landing Two Harbors: Around 11:30 am, we ate at the restaurant. I ordered the Chicken Yacht Club (the taste was okay), my partner ordered a bacon hamburger (highly recommend). The servers are kind, and you are seated quickly.Departing: Oh boy! The way back to LBC was a bumpy ride! It was dangerous for the person sitting in the back. Thankfully we did not fall off the jet ski!Recommendation: Seasick medication, own wet-suits (you shouldnt wear other peoples dirty underwear, thats the way I see it), rent two jet skis, sunblock SPF 100+, sunglasses, water shoes, and go at your SPEED. It felt like a race the entire way.
Amazing experience, this is now a once a year requirement for my mental stability. Its my reset button. When you get on the water with Jetski 2 Catalina, everything else just kind of falls into perspective. Its only you and the ocean. Very attainable bucket list item. Just book it already and quit reading reviews.
Staff was really friendly and helpful. The whole experience fun so fun. When we got to the island we cliff jumped, snorkeled, swam in a cave and ate a restaurant there. Definitely doing it again before summers over. Don’t forget your sunscreen, I forgot mine and unfortunately my face got burnt badly. Lol
Im from Long Beach myself and had 4 friends from out of town coming to visit mid-May. We were looking for things to do and got really excited when we found J2C. We had an absolute BLAST! Mid-way through our trip to Catalina I was already thinking to myself that I had to start researching getting a jetski for myself, Ive been converted into an enthusiast.We got pretty beat up, we didnt realize just how physically demanding jetskis could be, and it didnt help that we had really rough water conditions in the morning, but totally worth it.One person in my group, because of the especially rough waves on the way to Catalina, irritated a past back injury he had. By the time we got to Catalina he couldnt move on his own, and he *still* said it was the most fun hes ever had in his life and hed do it again (after a little more exercise and with better weather haha). Plus, the guides were AMAZING, they were so incredibly attentive and helpful, and very understanding while helping us make arrangements for my injured friend.I really cant say enough positive things about this company and the experience, it was amazing!Some tips for anyone going: bring water shoes, eye protection, riding gloves, and warm clothes. Even with warm weather, youre going to be pretty chilly by the time you get to Catalina for your break. Your hands will get very raw without gloves! BRING GLOVES! And youll get a lot of salt water splashing in your face so bring sunglasses with a strap or riding glasses/goggles.A big thank you to all of our guides who were just absolutely awesome!!
I found out about this while watching jet ski videos on YouTube. Everyone I told about wanting to do this thought I was underestimating how hard it would be to ride that distance in one day. I had so much FUN the day flew by and I was so happy I did the trip! Its everything I had hoped it would be. The guides do a fantastic job. One leads the pack of riders while another watches out for stragglers. We had dolphins swimming with us several times and saw a few sunfish. When you arrive at Catalina you can snorkle, hike, have lunch or just relax on the beach at two harbors. I plan to do it again soon!
We had the most amazing time! They are so caring, thoughtful and professional. The guides do an amazing job so that each and every person has the most awesome (and safe) time on the way there, on the island and on the way back. I highly, HIGHLY recommend them and will 100% be doing this again! We had a blast, so so fun and the ocean and island are so breathtaking
The guides were SO nice. We wanted to go snorkeling after lunch but we got back to the jet skis a little late. Tim literally ran to get goggles and back so we could snorkel! They really try to make sure you have a great experience! I would definitely recommend this place! 11/10.
Went as a surprise for my birthday, hands down the best gift I have ever gotten. It was amazing and the team that gave us the tour was extremely professional. Safety was stressed, but that did not interfere with us have a blast and really seeing what these jet skis can do! I highly recommend going. (Dolphins were an added HUGE bonus).
A nice way to experience a trip to Catalina island.
At first I was nervous going because it’s November and stormy weather passed through the day before. All that went away once I was on the open Pacific Ocean with my girlfriend with another couple and our awesome guides, Nick and Marcus. This experience is unforgettable. We rode from Long Beach to Catalina island... 27 miles each way... on jetskis! It took us 2 hours each way. The waves were bigger than expected but we felt safe. Our guides were professional and made sure to stop plenty of times for a status check. We saw sea lions on a buoy in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. We rode along dolphins...in the middle of the pacific ocean! I will be returning. By the way the 5mm wet suits keep you super warm. It was about 54 degrees when we left in the morning and it was windy. No issues at all. I do recommend a wool hat as it keeps your head warm even when wet. Also sunglasses to protect your eyes from the wind and splashes hitting your face. I had contact lenses on. If you can shower with contacts, you shouldn’t have problems riding in the salty ocean. I had plenty of ocean water hit my eyes while going there and surprisingly my eyes didn’t sting at all. I brought swimming goggles on my neck just in case but I never wore them. I just had sunglasses over my eyes. Worked perfectly. You get 4 hours of jet ski fun...free reign. They give you freedom to go fast or slow...this isn’t your 30 minute ride near the beach. Anyways...I’m super happy and will be returning in the summer to do proper snorkeling near Catalina island. Thanks Marcus and Nick for the awesome experience!
My friend and I took this tour out of Long Beach to Catalina Island. We went on separate jet skis and went a total of 60 miles. It was an awesome experience that we both will cherish and I will take this tour again. The only mistake we made was forgetting to bring sunscreen and goggles. We both wound up getting sunburnt and our eyes were swollen and blistered from the impact of the water splashing into our eyes while jet skiing 40 mph. So the next time I do this tour, I won’t forget to bring sunscreen or goggles. I recommend anyone doing this tour to bring sunscreen and goggles as well.
The guides were awesome and it was fun, but my body was sore for 3 days after. Be prepared because it’s a very tiring adventure! Make sure to lather on the sunscreen and preferably have a day off the next day. Overall a great experience
This is one of the most epic and adventurous things my husband and I have ever done together!!!!! We went for our “birthdays” and I cannot even tell you how much FUN it was. The guides are so experienced and make you feel completely at ease, they KNOW what they are doing and I felt like I could just enjoy the day!!I love Catalina island, but it was our first visit to two harbors. Amazing spot to relax, swim, lay out, and eat! When we were on our way back, we slowed down to enjoy being in the MIDDLE of a dolphin pod, and it was pure magic! My favorite part of the entire day. I love this soooo much and we will be back again!!!
1st of all we just want to thank the crew that took us out to Catalina and back. We had an absolutely amazing find adventure with you guys. It was absolutely A-blast and we recommend this to anybody and everybody all the time twice on Sunday if you can.
Went the first week of June for Daughters Birthday. We had a group of four. Had an Amazing time. They called us the day before to let us know that it was potentially going to Be Big Waves because of the weather and we could reschedule if we wanted we opted to continue. Turned into a blessing in disguise. It ended up being a cloudy day with almost no wind. With it being cloudy there was no overbearing sun to deal with and because it wasnt as hot and very little sun the water although a bit choppy we didnt have to deal with big waves like they thought. Total Group size I belive was 12 jet skis. One thing of note. The Sea Caves were cool but you need to be a steong swimmer or have good swimming stamina. Because they cant bring the jetskis close to the cave so its like 100 yd swim to the opening. 150yd through the caves and another 100yd back to jet skis. I was spent afterwards. I for sure will be doing this again. Dolphins and sea lions were also in attendance.
Greatest experience in my whole entire life no couldnt be happier with the crew or the conditions. Riding 50mph+ in open ocean from Long Beach to Catalina to stop in a place with amazing food and just to relax just to jet ski back to Long Beach was priceless. We jet skiied next to dolphins swam around saw seals and a few flying fish enjoyed the ride and was the most amazing experience of my life. I had my gopro and got incredible pictures and will definitely do this again. You get more out of it than you put in and cant begin to explain how amazing it was. I definitely recommend it for anybody that loves the water because I cant wait to do it again soon

I strongly recommend you give it a shot! This was my first time ever doing anything like this so it was a little intimidating at first. But Ray Ray went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and still had fun! He really helped me conquer some fears! Also, Christian, thank you for the extra accommodations, you didnt have to. And great job for constantly making sure everyone was accounted for! That was my biggest concern, but these guys did such a great job and I had a freaking blast! I appreciate you guys for this experience!
Dont think twice, do it if you feel comfortable. Definitely the best experience of my life. We did this with my friends on my birthday on May 24, 2022. Our guides, George, Benji, and Chris (I think) were all amazing. They consider all the safety measures and watch you throughout the trip. If you listen to your guides, you will be safe. Go for it, you would not regret!

A lot of effort has been taken to make sure the trip is enjoyable for everyone and that there are things to do while on the island. YOUR GOING TO BE SORE AFTERWORDS. Completely worth it.

2021-09-29My husband and I are celebrating on our honeymoon and we decided to go on the jet ski adventure. The guides were really great. They wanted us to get our there and have fun! And that’s what we did! But they always maintained our safety which is what you want when your out there on the ocean. I would do this ride again and again and again. It was just great.

2022-05-21Everything about this experience was a 10. That was my first time jet skiing ever and Jake and his crew made me feel safe. Their rules were easy to follow, there were 3 guides that with my group going to Catalina and 4 coming back to ensure everyone remained safe and didnt get left behind. Going we were up close and personal with the dolphins and took many well needed breaks. I definitely have referred everyone who asks me about my trip to this company. Thank you for an amazing experience. Yall made my husbands birthday the best one yet.

2022-03-26I cannot say enough about this trip and company. The day was awesome, and the guides were even more fantastic. They were all super upbeat and fun, were super communicative about safety and any changing conditions (we encountered some fog on the way out and some fairly big swells on the way back), on top of taking pictures and videos of everyone. Had a great time on the island. Provided with snorkel gear for those who wanted to, as well as a cliff jumping group activity. Also got to swim briefly into a cave. Definitely bring some gloves as our hands got pretty blistered from the handles, as well as sunscreen (reapply) as I got pretty burnt. Otherwise there was plenty of room for all your things in each ski, and a waterproof compartment for your phone. Absolutely worth every penny and I can’t wait to go out again.

2022-06-17Hello I normally do not leave bad reviews but I feel like I should share I fell off and on my way out the jet ski where your feet go my foot got stuck and I broke my ankle in 3 places. So be careful if you book and have minimal experience. All the guides were very nice to me and treated me so well I just wanted to make people aware that its dangerous.

2021-10-2210/5 stars from me! This was so awesome!!! Different than I expected, but better better. I’ll explain. I thought that the jetski ride would be kind of fun but the main attraction of the day would be while we were on the island. Nope!!The riding was the amazing part!! We saw dolphins on almost the whole ride to the island!! Seriously sooo many and they swam right next to us it was magical!! And on the way back we even spotted a whale and saw it spout out a few times! I was not expecting to see a whale!The island was kinda disappointing to be honest but I think it serves as a nice place to relax and take a break, eat some food, cliff jump, and snorkel. There’s only one restaurant on the side we went to and that’s about it. The food is good at least!Anyways, the adventure guides were all awesome and fun, and the other part that exceeded my expectations was that they all took pictures and videos throughout the day & email them all to you after… for FREE! No “pay $100 for the package” scam like every where else. Also, the Jetskis are all 2021 brand new & it has a HUGE compartment for your stuff. My husband and I brought a duffel bag and I was worried it wouldn’t fit but we could’ve even fit 2-3 of them in there. We left our snorkeling fins in the car but would’ve brought them if we knew. P.S. if you have snorkel stuff, bring it. The part where you swim through the cave is so beautiful!!! It’s cool without snorkel gear but it looked so cool underwater as well, unlike anything I’ve ever seen and I have scuba dived in multiple places.
