My 14 year old son likes the breakfast sandwich, I like the iced coffee Mocha. They are a super fast drive thru.
Kinda upset at this Jack in the box . Every time I come in there is lots of workers but nobody gets you . Then for them having all the workers nobody is in the front helping customers. I always have to ask can I place an order then get bad customer service by not being friendly and taking almost 20 min for some tacos and fries . Had to ask for my order and seems they forgot to do it . All those workers look lost back there not helping customers the right way . Last time I come to this place over it . Rather drive to the one on telegraph
Consistently has long waits for short lines (30-40 mins). Not sure whats going on with this location but its not fast for fast food.
Oscar helps me at the drive-thru he has Great service! This location was very fast. Very clean. It looks brand new. Excellent customer service staff no problems whatsoever! Bathrooms are clean! Theyre also almost open on every holiday and usually later than anyone else this place is 24 hours!
I ordered thru the app 15 minutes ahead because I know they take forever. I wait another 15 minutes in the drive-thru line to find out once I get to the window that the order is not ready. This has happened twice already. The extra star is for the morning crew who has been fast and efficient.
The restaurant is nice and has a diner feel to it. Sometimes though, it gets overrun with obnoxious kids (not all kids that visit here are obnoxious, but sometimes there are packs of troublemakers that hang around here). Also, the workers here are not good at resolving simple issues with orders or get math wrong. More times than not, my drive thru order has been missing something, so I always pull into a parking space after getting my food to check it.
Jack in the Box was our go to fast food place when I was a kid because it was nearest to our house so it holds a special place in my arteries.The drive through took a while, but Ill chalk that up to a short staff during another COVID spike. My spicy cluck was really tasty and much preferred to the big name chicken sandwich place.
A double jack has 2 patties and 2 slices of cheese. Unless you go to this JIB. Here you get 2 slices of cheese and 1 patty. Asked for.no ketchup or Mayo or mustard. Came with ketchup. Diabetic so the 2 patties…. Sorry. One patty went into the trash. Also if you want bags that actually hold your food, look elsewhere. The bag broke as soon as I walked out the door dropping my food on the ground.The kid who helped was clueless. Nice. But clueless.I’d just avoid this place. They aren’t paying attention and don’t check orders for quality or correctness. There’s a JIB on Eastlake Pkwy. A 5 min drive but you’ll get what you paid for and the wait is significantly less because they know what they are doing.Owner, feel free to reach out. You have my money. Might as well get my feedback as well.
Worse Jacks Ive been. Arrived at 9:52 PM at the drive through with only 3 cars in line. Took them 40 plus minutes for 4 tacos and fries.

The bacon ultimate cheese burger with curly fries is the best. You have to try the original monster tacos.
We have visited this Jack in the Box a handful of times and I can say that the experience has been good. We like the food and the friendly staff. It is open 24 hours.
Got the wrong order. Didnt realize till I got home. Tried calling but no one answers, you get an answering machine to leave a message. Havent heard back.
All Im going say is to please hire more people in the evening. It shouldnt take me 37min to get a jumbo jack when there is not a long line in front of me. And this is my neighborhood jack in the box so Ive had this experience everytime Ive gone.

Poor customer service! The person that helped me at the drive-through was really rude to the point where I had him skip my order and I to speak a manager. It turned out the rude employee was the manager, his excuse was that they were busy! He didn’t try to make anything better if anything he just had attitude… this incident happened 9/1/21 around 9:05 am
Customer service is terrible!! I just saw 4 managers outside doing a window cleaning workshop but the rude woman overwhelmed in the drive thru cant give me a straw. And when asked they ran out as I see customers leaving on foot with hand fulls of straws! GET IT TOGETHER.
This was the best experience Ive had in years. The fries were perfect, just made, the food was consistent- but perfect everything was hot the manager has this place running like it should. Its refreshing to see this once in a while because its rare and this place is underrated!
The manager Jaime I believe, charged me for the incorrect order, then was mad at her own mistake and became very rude. And would refuse to give me my refund Receipt. At this point I realized that store was being ran to the ground by her careless ways. Won’t be going back. N left without any food after waiting over half an hour
Shame how you can live in a nice area like Otay Ranch/Eastlake and have just the same amount of GHETTO as Imperial Avenue. All the time youll see people gathering outside the establishment late night for their Meets or Favors the crowd will sometimes spill out INTO the drive thru driveway. Theres also either a LINE the size of In N Out Burger at 3am or the System is ALWAYS down and you have to wait 20 minutes for it to reboot. 🙄😬
I stopped at 3:15am and they said that they were closed, that had happened more than 3 times. If so, you should change your closing time.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! They messed up my combo order and forgot to give me my side of curly fries. I spoke to Diana and she said that my next order would be free. I drive to the jack in the box the next day and they say no. They just give me my fries and that is it. Come on! I drove here because you told me I would get my order for free to make up for your mistake. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible.
The quality of the food is no different from any other jack in the box, however, the franchisee is stingy to the detriment of his customers. Even on weekend nights, they have one person working the dining room and drive through leading to extremely slow service and drive thru waits of up to thirty minutes! The service is great but the franchisee should stop overworking their employees and hire another evening employee.

Not happy I order in the drive thru for a strawberry shack and they gave me one with no whipe cream 🍨 when I ask for one I ask 2 cheeseburgers with no pickles and no mustard and they gave me one cheeseburger with pickles and mustard I wont recommend this place I put one start if I can put less then one I will do it
They skipped my order many times. Whenever I come here, its takes 30 min to get my food, while everyone is getting theirs in maybe 5 min. All I ask for is the tacos, should be easy.
Dont understand whats going on at this particular Jack in the Box. 20 minute wait at the drive thru is insane. And to top it off, the cashier holding our order and having a conversation, with his manager of all people, making the wait longer. Unbelievable. Not coming here anymore after so many disappointments.
Thankful that this place is open 24hrs, but the customer service has taken a nose dive as of late. Most of the staff are kind and trying their best, but there is a particular employee during super late shifts who audibly sighs over drive-thru mic and loudly complains about dealing with customers at the window while we are parked right next to it, within earshot of hearing her rant. On top of this, she deliberately interrupts you when you clarify your order as nicely as you can, and try to be patient. However, as observed multiple times by my partner and I, this employee will pretend not to hear you the first 4 times (or interrupt you) before you finally spell out that something is missing from your order. We have been shorted by at least 1 item more times than I can count on my hands. My recommendation to locals is to enjoy the service from the earlier shifts, as late night can be an absolute nightmare. To get your moneys worth, if you must go late past midnight, please check your bags and receipt.

The family and I like to stop in to this Jack-in-the-Box location often for they’re great service and hamburgers. We like their milkshakes too, they are pretty good. Overall, this is a good place to stop in to grab something to eat.
During my visit, the wait was unexpectedly long. There was somewhat a lot of people in there since it was weekend so its kinda understandable. The food though was a little bland compared to its competitors. Especially their fish burger which didnt taste as I expected it to be. There was a lot of free parking though. The service was okay, they were quite friendly though they had some mistakes in my order.
Poor customer service at night thru the drive thru.i was in the line there was 5 cars and I hear the car that was in the ordering area to hurry up since he was waiting for over 3 minutes and no one helped him and the person thru the speaker said that he needed to wait if he didnt like it to go somewhere else.
Very friendly service, but imo this specific location needs to care more about making the food taste better and look more like it does in the national advertising. Yes, I know this is only Jack in the Box. Still, the chefs and quality checkers need a better feel for their roles and need to take more pride in their work.

The neighborhood kids have taken this place over and it is a pit for delinquency and violence. Needs to be cleaned out. The kids fight people all the time and think its their own gang hideout. Editited: Ownership got ahold of me and asked for information about the store. At least they try.
McYummy....is always good. My favorite fast burgers. Big Mac....number one and I also love the Fish Fillet sandwiches. Never a problem....grandkids love it too! Fast service, order was correct and plenty of parking.
Used the drive thru. I felt rushed to order and had to repeat myself because the employee wasnt fully paying attention and was in a hurry. Order was accurate. Food was what I would expect from Jack in the box, nothing special.
Came in and Rodrigo the cashier attended me. He made sure I had all the condiments and even separated my orders per bag. He is a great cashier and makes sure all his clients are well taken care of. This guy deserves a raise if it were up to me.
Really great place especially if your looking for a late night shake, provided the young lady who works nights is there. The guys all break the machine down early so only food when they are there. My friends and I drive thru about 2-3 nights a week!

I went to this Jack in the Box last night. I ordered the Grilled Breakfast sandwich with Tomatoes, Lettuce and Mayo. IT WAS A MESS! It was not pretty at all. It was made very sloppy. Plus they must have been out of Bacon. Because they decided to give me 2 pieces of ham instead of Bacon and ham. I would have skipped this sandwich if I would have known they didnt have bacon. Or just maybe the person on the grill just didnt know what they were doing. One of the two, I have ordered this same exact sandwich at many Jack in the Box locations and NEVER had any problems with this order. So I call to tell the Mgr and the listed number is a fax machine. GREAT JOB! NOT!
Jack in the Box at Otay Ranch location is fast and friendly. At least on the drive thru the employees alsways repeat the order and so far my orders been correct. Food is hot and freshly made.
Second time ive been here, both times wrong order. But they do make sure to offer you 10 items you dont want during the ordering process.

(November 13, 4:30 p.m.) customer service? Cleanliness? You will NOT find that here, as I have had three experiences before I decided to post this...it is no wonder there was no one in the drive thru and In-N-Out had a drive thru packed with about 15 cars probably more! The young lady at the window didnt even acknowledge me, she just took my card and turned around...another time all the tables inside were filthy, and another time I seen the young people making food barehanded.

I just went to Jack, placed my order an this lady named Gloria gave me the wrong change. I just got robbed for $5. I told her she gave me the wrong change and right away she was all defensive. I was really patient with her, I even asked her to count her drawer so she would see that she was over. All she said was that she was busy. I just spend $13 on one combo. I might as well go w to chilis to eat.. never again will I be going to this Jack in the box..
Coming home from Work looking for a pre snack before dinner , 2 tacos for a buck which with extra lettuce makes it much better . Line went quick and the employees where polite, jack in the box has a lot of different items to choose from
Good for a quick bite, as with any fast food you kind of know what to expect, quality wise. My only complaint would be they frequently get orders wrong so definitely check your bag!
The food was good. I got my usual #13 large with a 10pc nugget on the side and loaded bacon cheddar wedges. My nuggets were cold. My wedges were nowhere near loaded

I pulled into the drive thru at 3:40am on 4/5/18, and there was no one there to take my order. I left after three minutes of waiting. However as I was leaving I spotted an employee inside taking a nap. So much for being open 24 hours.

I ordered the number 12, homestyle ranch chicken club. And it had no cheese, no bacon, and the chicken patty was so fried it had very little actual chicken inside and the rest was hard fried shell exterior. Very dissappointed that they cant hire a decent cooking crew.
Well, its Back in the Box But, their spicy chicken sammich is pretty Decent with pickles on it! Its really the only item I get there but, Im partial to it and, itll light you up a little but, its also got a good flavor as well!

Worst customer service ever here Jugo and the manager were very rude and unprofessional, they had the SDSU Basketball free jumbo jack when SDSU wins at home and the game was won the night before and i told them i wanted a free jumbo jack and attwmpted to charge me and then i informed them about the promotion and they have signs everywhere and it seemed they were surprised that they even had that promo going on i literally showed them the signs in their store and they still were baffled. So when they were aware i asked again can i have a free jumbo jack and they replied with no its only the day of the game when it says no where that thats true and the game was late so do they really expect people to storm at 11 or 12 asking for SDSU jumbo jacks? 2021-09-12We really appreciated the care and attention given our family during this visit. The restaurant was clean and inviting. The bathrooms were very clean. My kids loved the cool all-in-one sinks. The staff were friendly and attentive. When we asked about ingredients for allergens, the cashier went to check labels for us. He even came to check on us halfway through our meal to see how things were and if everything was okay. Nicely done!

2022-07-01Pathetic. In n out has longer lines than jack and still moves faster than this. I work late and just want a meal. Wait close to an hour and end up getting greeted by some poor tired employee with an attitude. I understand his frustration but this issue goes straight to management or corporate. Raise your wage if you wanna retain employees. Im willing to pay more for my two tacos.

2022-05-25Out of all tha fast food chains jacks is one of my favorites, something they need to work on is adding more of the drink that you asked for instead of adding lots of ice! after all good breakfast choices!!

2022-08-08Very long wait. It was more than 15 minutes. It was not very busy at all. Soda machine out of multiple flavors. The tables were dirty and no one ever came out to clean them. The trash cans were overflowing with trash. The cashier seemed unhappy to be there. For some reason she charged me for everything separately rather than giving me the combo price. I probably overpaid by at least a few dollars. My bill was over $15 for a breakfast platter, oj, and a soda.

2022-08-21This location had the worst soda Ive ever tasted at a fast food location. I hate that Im paying for a large drink and I cant even drink it because of how poor it is in quality. It had zero taste and was completely flat. I only get a meal for the drink and when I cant drink it because of the taste it means Im wasting my money getting a meal.

2022-05-10I regret going everytime I end up going . Mayo enough for 3 burgers , attitude trew drive thru almost every time. I havent managed to get the chicken nuggets since the promotion came out. Understaffed or careless employees. Or both. Never going back , not worth the headache.

2022-07-11Nice people working here. Its just extremely difficult to get through the drive thru at night. It might set you back 20-30 minutes.

2022-08-13It was 9:30pm, only ordering an Oreo milkshake and waited 30min inside to get one. Sad part is the manager was more worried about locking the doors at 9:48pm then helping the line inside or in the drive-thru. She locked up, grabbed her meals and ran out with a line inside and outside. Management positions sometime require you to sacrifice and stay a little longer to help your team out.

2018-06-10It was just a drive thru trip. But this is a good location. They have polite customer friendly employees, even when I cant make up my mind... 😀. This place is pretty good for fast food as it is a fast food restaurant. The prices are very good and I tried today theyre brand new carne asada fries... They are not very expensive at all ( only $3) but they were not that good either I rather go to a Mexican restaurant for carne asada fries and chips. This is not a bad reflection on Jack in the Box but it is out of their wheelhouse.
