We had our daughter’s wedding this past weekend at Irongate. The day was absolutely perfect and I give a lot of credit to Krista and the crew that work at the venue. First of all the venue is absolutely beautiful. It is spacious, with lovely grounds. The main house was perfect for the bride and her bridesmaids to get ready. Krista was attentive to our wishes; she is organized but most important a very nice person to work with.I would highly recommend the Irongate Garden Inn if you are looking for an outdoor venue!!

My daughter and new son-in-law were married here. This was a beautiful location. The owners are really attentive and very easy to work with. The grounds are beautifully manicured and there are three locations on the property so you can do your wedding, cocktail hour and reception. We had over 200 guests and there was enough room for everyone. We were so very happy with this amazing venue for many reasons! Added plus you can rent the house for the weekend so your bridal party can stay!

Where do I start with Irongate?! When my husband and I walked onto the property we instantly knew we wanted to get married at this venue. We postponed an entire year because of COVID and Krista stayed in contact with us the whole time and was very accommodating while we were trying to decide if we should postpone or not and what dates were available for the following year. It’s a beautiful venue, from the inside of the house to the courtyard where we had the ceremony, to the tented area where we had cocktail hour, to the reception area in the grass. It’s nice that all these areas can have multiple uses. Krista is very communicative and easy to reach. We loved that they have a borrow room which helped us a lot in saving money on décor and little things for like the cake table and bar. The get ready areas for both bridal parties are spacious and offer great lighting. There are so many places to take great photos outside and inside. Our guests could not stop raving about Irongate during and after the wedding. We also thought that the price for everything that it includes was very reasonable! We highly recommend this venue!

If you are looking for the fairytale venue to have your wedding at… look no further! The Irongate Garden Inn is by far one of the most beautiful outdoor venues I have ever seen. It was the most perfect venue for my daughter’s May wedding. From the beautiful garden setting for the ceremony to the tented terrace area for cocktails to the lush lawn area for the reception adorned with beautiful trees/bushes and hanging lights…every bit of this venue speaks beauty! The venue provided access to an abundant inventory to use to help decorate the venue without spending a bundle on rented items and décor you might never use again. Krista and Neal Grove, the venue owners, were an absolute pleasure to work with. Krista was very responsive to all of my emails and ready to answer any questions I had. She provided a detailed worksheet to help us stay focused on all the days events, so we didnt lose sight of the minor details that makes the day run smoothly. The list of vendors they provided was so very helpful in finding the very best caterers, florists, DJs and day of event coordinators, in Chico! I cannot say enough about my experience at the Irongate Garden Inn. My daughter’s wedding was every bit of what she had dreamed of, and I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful place to celebrate my daughter’s wedding day!

We feel so incredibly lucky to have stumbled upon this venue while checking out wedding venues in the Chico area. Dont let the surrounding orchards fool you, this place feels like it was plucked right off of the East Coast and dropped in Northern California with its brick and ivy aesthetic. Beautiful landscaping, multiple versatile areas, great location. We absolutely loved it. Oozed with class. Our guests are still raving to us about how great the venue was. Krista and Neal were wonderful to work with. Totally accommodating and helpful. The price is notably lower than the other venues in town, but I dont think that will last long! Thank you Iron Gate for an unforgettable night.

Their level of responsiveness is clearly linked to your overall estimated wedding budget for some reason. Meaning if you answer their questionnaire with only what you are budgeting and don’t include what others are paying for- they will blow you off entirely.
