Currently on my third round with Intecore over the last few years - spine (ACDF), lower back & torn calf. I go back because the staff is knowledgeable and professional. Ive been pleased with every aspect of care - from scheduling and billing through therapy, assessments and recovery. I wholeheartedly recommend Intecore if you need Physical therapy.
I had six sessions for a bruised tendon and arthritis for my shoulder. I had a good experience and with the necessary exercises recommended. Unfortunately due to my more advanced shoulder issues my pain level did subside or improve. The specialist were wonderful and the front office was very professional.
I recently had shoulder surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff. When the surgeon asked if I had a preference on where to be sent for physical therapy, I quickly answered “Intecore” as I had had two prior positive experiences with the Aliso Viejo office. My PT experience for my torn rotator cuff was the most positive yet. I can’t say enough about the staff at the Intecore Aliso Viejo facility—they are knowledgeable, really listen to you and treat you like family. Heather, Mike and Jackie get a special shout out. The place is great.
Excellent experience. My son recovered from a running injury here so I tried it for my frozen shoulder.The staff was wonderful and extremely competent. I recovered in half the time.I thought all the departments did a great job at helping me recover.I received text alerts to remind me of my appointments, calls when I had forgotten to schedule an appointment and excellent support by therapists and assistants throughout my visits.I will definitely return if needed and recommend them to friends and family.
I had a misfortune of going through problems on both of my shoulders, but I was also very much fortunate to find Intecore. I cant say I had a PT experience before Intecore, but I cant think of more capable and compassionate people. Everyone genuinely cared - happy for my progress, concerned for my setbacks (due to my own laziness). They gave me back my healthy shoulders!:)
Ive been to Intecore twice now, for my elbow and shoulder. Mike, Eileen and the rest of the staff were great. They were extremely thoughtful regarding cleanliness during this pandemic. Mike was knowledgeable, always paid attention to my progress, and shifted the PT program as needed. I liked the pace they set and we ultimately met or exceeded our expectations.
I have been coming to Intercore in Aliso Viejo for over a year now. My injuries were extensive and required attention to separate parts of my body at separate times. Heather has been my PT since I started, she always listens to me in regards to where my pain is, or, just to what is going on in my life. The front staff, Jackie and Nour are always both so friendly and happy to see me when I walk in, and the feeling is mutual! I have worked with almost everyone in this office, and never once felt anything but safe! Thank you for all that you do!
I am having physical therapy for my injured knee for about 5 months, I almost couldn’t walk when I came to Intecore Aliso Viejo! Heather Hunt has magical hands, from almost no walk, she made me with her massages walk again, with almost no pain! All the associates and Therapists are very nice and helpful very accommodating and cordial! Thanks guys once again for your efforts and I will recommend you work to all I know who needs help!!
Thanks to four surgeries and several accidents I’ve had the pleasure, that’s right the pleasure, of logging close to 200 sessions with Intecore. The staff is expert, caring personable and genuine. (I believe that’s because Intecore people actually enjoy working there. ) I looked forward to every visit, no matter how how hard it may have been, and wouldn’t think of going anywhere else, despite any other physician recommendation. Kudos to Mike, Heather, Lisa, Anita, Rashin, Brandon, Mr. Bacon, Tina, Eileen, Jackie and any of the other wonderful people I may have missed, and will.
Sara and Heather are great!! During COVID, I felt comfortable seeing how much care was put into maintaining a clean and safe environment. They both helped me to heal my knee...I even took an extra 3 weeks to ensure healing. Jackie and the office staff are amazing as well. Thank you all so much!!

Everyone at intercore physical therapy is excellent. Ive been coming here for about 9 months now after shoulder surgery and the treatment has been excellent. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Going to PT forces me to do all my exercises as I’m a procrastinator at home. I have a condition that cannot be cured, but after a session at Intecore, I do feel better for a few days.
After my knee replacement surgery, I was very happy to be working with Yvonne at Intecore in Aliso Viejo. She was sensitive to my needs and feelings, but also encouraged me to challenge myself more. I was extremely impressed with the care I received from Yvonne and her assistants Sarah and Eileen.I was back to my normal faster than I anticipated.
I highly recommend this place!!!! Being an athlete, I always get injured, and if I ever need physical therapy, I immediately think of Intercore Physical Therapy. Heather and Yvonne worked on me every round of my visits. All the employees are super nice and make sure that your overall experience is comfortable. They are very considerate about every single one of their patients. All of their exercises are super effective and before you know it, you will be back to normal! I really enjoyed attending Intercore Physical Therapy and if I ever get hurt again in the future, I’m definitely coming back.

I highly recommend Intecore Physical Therapy at Alisa Viejo. I have used their services on several different occasions for various injuries, most recently a nasty sprained ankle. They are knowledgeable, friendly and very flexible with scheduling. Being able to work out sessions outside of my work hours allows me not to have to takeoff time from work.
When I first came to Intecore Aliso Viejo, I couldnt walk without back/leg pain and could barely stand. After a few weeks of therapy and stretches, my pain is completely gone and I can go back to my regular life/exercise! Thanks to Dr. Shiva and everyone else here for my recovery!
What a friendly professional group of therapists! My experience at Intecore was so very pleasant. Each time I was greeted with smiles and cheer. I was guided to do each exercise correctly and was monitored so I was always moving correctly. My symptoms are gone and I’m so appreciative for the care I received at Intercore. This community does such an incredible job of not only providing a healing environment for your physical development, but also one for your mentality as well. Retraining yourself to perform activities you used to find easy can put a strain on your headspace and lower your self image especially following after an accident (my case). The team working here are professionals that guide your way back to a recovery with love and humor. The tender and delicate care was everything I needed following my injury. I cant stress enough how lucky I was to come across this group and I truly owe them all my progress and growth. If you are considering any different place for physical therapy, I promise you there is no need to look further. At the end of the day, we associate our experiences with feelings and not information so I encourage you to give this place a visit and you will sense the aura of the room the moment you step foot within their facility. Here is a little bit I know about the crew (although Im sure youll find much more useful info on their website):Mike has a thousand stories about his adventures hiking and nature adventures! Ask him about those because they definitely will inspire to get a breath of fresh air every now and then.Yvonne has a very caring personality and is so well prepared to provide you the enthusiasm you need to carry through some of the highest growth exercises. She also loves traveling so ask her about that!Eileen is incredibly helpful and helps you normalize the idea of physical therapy very quickly. 5 out of 5 would recommend these people for PT. Every day I went in they were so nice an friendly and I really enjoyed having conversations with everyone there. They helped me out a ton with recovering from surgery after an injury, sometimes going above and beyond and making extra exercises for me to do in order to help me do some task that I was struggling with. I am now fully recovered and am able to do all the things I was able to do before surgery, I never thought I would say this but I was really happy to go into PT with these people!! :)
Just finished my 6 weeks of Physical therapy at Intecore in Aliso Viejo for my rotator cuff tear. The results are phenomenal!! Mike, Heather and crew were all great in nursing me back to health. I had almost given up after spending 6 weeks at another physical therapist office with no results. The office is also constantly cleaning and do all they can to prevent and Covid issues!

This is the best Physicsl Therapy facility with the best team of professional therapists in Orange County! I had experienced therapy years ago, different company, not good.Mike, Yvonne, Heather are the best, most knowledgeable therapistist’s ever. The aides, also very knowledgeable, helpful. Sahand, my aide was with me the longest, so nice and helpful to me.Jackie in the office is a pro with insurance and she is amazing at scheduling to fit my needs.They do amazing cleaning continually to keep all of us protected from Covid-19.I rolled into this office on day 1 in my wheelchair, full leg brace on my non-weight bearing leg.I was sure I would never walk again!Then I was greeted by this amazing knowledgeable team of dedicated professionals with the goal of total recovery for their patients. They honestly care how the whole person is feeling along with the issues for Physical Therapy!I had two therapists. Due to scheduling through the Covid-19 restrictions.Yvonne and Heather were my therapists.I am so grateful to them both.They taught, stretched, trained, guided, encouraged me. We worked hard, talked, shared, laughed, in a very healthy caring environment.They had an immediate solution to any problem I was experiencing. I was always safe from harm with many tools they used each time I started a new part of my recovery!I looked forward to my sessions and referred to them as my 1 hour PT mini vaca’s.These two great therapists guided me from that wheelchair on the first day to walking out without a cane on the last day!Because of their expertise and training me and exercising me I am now walking my dog, doing yard work, back in my art class.I am so grateful to Heather and Yvonne and all the people on this team. They make us part of their family there.
I cannot say enough great things about Intecore! I am currently at Intecore because of a ruptured Achilles tendon I had surgery on in May 2018. I have been going to Intecore for physical therapy since July 2018, and they are the reason for my speedy recovery thus far! I appreciate their patience, knowledgeable answers to all of my questions and all of the exercises I have learned from the staff. Although, I must say the massages at the end of appointments are probably the best part. I have recommended Intecore to family and friends, who have been so thankful for the referral and happy clients too. The staff at the office is always very friendly and professional. Intercore helped me to fully recover from a rotator cuff injury back in 2016. I am currently being treated for hip & back pain, so far it’s going well. The therapists are great and really know their stuff. The assistants are all friendly and helpful. The front office staff is efficient, kind and always ready & willing to assist with insurance or any other questions I have.

This was my second time at Intecore PT in Aliso Viejo and I am still so incredibly satisfied! Mike and Eileen are so kind and always make it a fun time being there. I could not possibly encapsulate how incredible this place is in a single review, but if I had to try, I would start by saying Ive been to physical therapy before after multiple issues with my ankles, but this place is far and away the most amazing. Not only do all of the employees possess a large breadth and depth of knowledge, but they are also all so compassionate and encouraging.Its especially impressive how they have dealt with the COVID-19 pandemic, going above and beyond in their infection prevention&control measures, ensuring all of us patients feel safe while continuing such important physical therapy work.Mike, Yvonne, and Heather are all wonderful physical therapists who do a fantastic job of providing high-quality, individual care to each and every patient. Mike and his team at Intercore in Aliso Viejo helped me identify and solve my running injury with ease and comfort. I was assessed, set-up with a plan and continued to improve weekly. His complete running assessment helped me change my cadence and foot strike in order to avoid further injury, which was greatly appreciated for this avid runner. Ive been to several therapy places due to several knee surgeries and Intecore has been the best. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. They are very interested in the patients personal goals and set up programs to get you where you WANT to be. They are also very personable and create a fun and inviting atmosphere. The team kept me on task for my therapy exercises and was caring. They answered all my questions and gladly explained whatever I needed to be explained. They also gave suggestions, etc. The therapy was helpful as far as the original diagnosis by the referring doctor.

The staff at Intecore are professionals, and know what they are doing. Ive had sciatica for over 25 years, and they gave me stretches and exercises to manage the discomfort and pain for good without pain killers. Last march I had a knee replacement. And was sent to Intecore Physical Therapy. It has taken me a year to recover which is much longer than usual but it was due to the meniscus removal that had damaged the muscles over 17 years. My therapist worked with me to help me get past the pain and to rebuild those muscles. Thank you!
All the staff members are very professional and friendly. They listen very well when you explain your concerns. My issue with my nerve pain on my shoulder was treated and fixed.

The staff is very friendly and the main physicians are diligent in checking over patient files to provide the best care they can. I went for a leg injury from a motorcycle wreck and the physician was genuinely interest to read of my 13 pages of Dr notes from my surgeries. I was prescribed physical therapy two to three times per week to rehab a sciatic nerve issue. While at the Intercore facility in Aliso Viejo, they ran me thru a one hour program of stretching and core strengthening that had me pain free and back in action quickly. I was there generally in the morning, and the Lisa/Tina team was outstanding to work with and I really appreciated their work. If I could give 6 stars, I would.
These guys are awful. I was a patient about 2 and a half years ago. Their treatment plan was so off course it caused me no improvement and lead to my condition worsening. Tossed around from dr to dr, lost my job cause I couldnt function anymore, lost my home, etc.I only just recently got into the hands of some competent physical therapists since I had to restart the treatment process under my new insurance, and am finally improving after 2 and a half years of severe pain and feeling defunct as an adult due to my condition. Seeing how this new facility identified my issue and works with me gave me perfect hindsight of the poor quality care Intercore provided me years ago.Had I not been put in the hands of these incompetent people, I could have avoided 2 years of needless pain and suffering.

I cant say enough about Intecore Aliso Viejo... not only for the results we achieved together, but also their sincere caring for my recovery. Its evident within minutes of walking in the door how they truly strive for the recoveries of all their patients.Ive been thru over a dozen PT engagements in my life for a variety of injuries and surgeries, and experienced the full spectrum of PT organizations from the very best to the not-so-good. So it was important to find the right PT firm prior to surgery for repair of full length/full width massive rotator cuff tear, with associated labrum and biceps tendon tears. I visited the top recommendations from my surgeon to chat with their PTs, and I selected Intecore AV. They knew their stuff re: my shoulder, the injuries, the surgery, and what to expect over the coming weeks/months. Plus I could that THEY REALLY CARE!Everyone who played a role in my therapy was knowledgeable and demonstrated a sincere interest in my recovery. There are too many to name, but PTs Layla, Mike and Lisa spent the most time with me and are true standouts. And without PT Assistant Aryanas watchful eye and playful badgering, I might not have pushed myself through every rep of every set of every exercise on every visit. She is destined to become a great PT someday soon.Sometimes PT can be a drag, but I never felt that way at Intecore AV. In fact, oftentimes Id arrive 20 minutes early to do extra work...true testament that Intecore Aliso Viejo is a draw, not a drag.Walking in their front door is like entering a sushi restaurant: Hello!, Hey Bill, and Hiiiiiiiiiiii BILLLLLLLL !!!!!!!! They make you feel special. Jackie and Sandra at the front desk are friendly and helpful and just as caring as the PT staff.BOTTOM LINE: Im healed. I feel normal, I can sleep thru the night, Im golfing (poorly), and I can put my own suitcase in the overhead when I travel. Ill continue the exercises Intecore taught me so I get even stronger over the coming months and years.Thank you to everybody associated with Intecore Aliso Viejo!
Late 2017 I was getting migraines due to tension in my neck. Id had them in my past but theyd gotten much worse, often lasting 3 days with no relief. My Dr prescribed PT and I picked Mike at Intercore. His huge depth of knowledge helped me so much. I was taught how to do my own stretching routines and the headaches completely went away. Later I started experiencing some lower back issues so I went back and again, thru stretching and core strengthening Ive been able to make my issues go away. This has allowed me to stay healthy and active. Im now 100% convinced PT should play a role in anyones life that is dealing with pain. I tell people specifically about Intecore and Mike Tejano all the time and would highly recommend him and the team to anyone in need.
OMG! I was diagnosed with arthritis in the knees. And 3 weak muscles surrounding the area. I had 6 treatments and was extremely sceptical about physical therapy helping the problem. Working with Mike, Rashiem, and Heather was the best! Thank you guys for everything! My knees are stronger, lost some weight, inflammation went down within 3 weeks. Much love and respect.
I spent the last 4-6 weeks recovering at the Intecore in Mission Viejo. This place is great. Indeed, they did a great job of treating my condition (rotator cuff injury) but where they excel is in the teaching of the whys and hows to hopefully keep me out of PT in the future. After I graduated theyve made themselves continuously available to answer my inane questions (of which I have a lot) through email (for free).
I had an amazing experience. I was diagnosed with Bilateral Patella Femural Syndrome, Tendonitis, and Osgood Schlatter Disease. In addition to the knee problems, I also was diagnosed with Hip Bursitis. Heather, Rashiem, and Ariana were always great to work with. While doing the exercises, they always had something to talk about whether it was about your day or about past experiences which ultimately led to a great connection. The set of exercises I did at therapy were personalized specifically for me. An at-home program was also included for me to do so I could and still continue without going in. Intercore physical therapy did not only improve my ailments, but I also got to meet great people.
All the staff are outstanding. They are very caring and friendly. I felt like I was with friends. Really helped me with my back. They were very careful in keeping a clean and safe environment. I highly recommend them.
Had a shoulder injury that was giving me issues. Doctor sent me to Aliso Rancho Physical Therapy. Gave them my insurance information and they said all was well and visits would be very inexpensive. After 6 visits and my injury getting worse I stopped going. Got a bill 6 months later for a lot more than they said it would be for each visit. Every visit was the exact same amount of time but my bill showed completely different amounts and different line items of what was done. They tell me thats what my insurance told them to do, insurance told me thats how they submitted their claims. As much as I hate to say it, I believe the insurance company over ARPT.Shame on your business. If you go there, get in writing how much each visit is going to be and hold them to it.

2022-01-13The entire staff, (everyone from the front office staff to the physical therapy staff, including the interns), were always friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, polite, prompt and professional in their interactions during my treatment program. Mike (my physical therapist), went above and beyond in designing an individual treatment program for me that was both progressively challenging and effective Jackie was a wizard in managing the conflicting instructions between the workers compensation system and my doctors office. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing physical therapy as part of their own recovery efforts.

2022-04-13Ive been going to Intecore for several years for issues ranging from a pinched nerve in my back to recovering from a knee tendon replacement. Their staff is very professional and easy to get along with, they listened to my feedback when I said I wanted to pursue more difficult exercises, and their facilities are immaculate. Id highly recommend them to anyone!

2021-12-28I adored my weeks spent here regaining strength after a herniated disc surgery. Heather is phenomenal! Experienced, attentive and a truly kind soul, she made my time in physical therapy a joy and I will miss our chats so much. I’m so grateful to the team here for getting me back on my feet.

2021-12-14This place was absolutely great. I was a patient for almost 8 months recovering from a torn ACL and two bucket handle meniscus tears. The staff is very knowledgeable and professional, it never gets too crowded, and you can basically pick your ideal schedule for sessions. Mike is a great guy and runs a solid facility. Jackie at the front desk is the ultimate rockstar for scheduling and taking you through the process on the road to recovery. 🦿💪🏽

2021-07-20I have had a great experience from the start. The entire staff is very friendly they genuinely care about you and take the time to get to know you. I felt like I knew them from day one my entire life.Mike did my evaluation and set up a plan. Heather followed up my treatment plan and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Last but not least Megan was always a joy to talk to too and no doubt she will be a wonderful therapist. So glad. A big thank you to all of you!!

2021-08-05Unfortunately, Ive been to various physical therapy companies to treat my various sports injuries over the years. For the most part Ive been quite satisfied with them all.But the Intecore team, led by Mike Tejano, is exceptional! Mike bring an innovative style by keeping up to date with the best approaches for your injury. Hes very intelligent and a great listener and analyzer about whats the best approach. Best of all, hes a great person.

2021-09-21I would like to thank front and back office workers Jackie, Noor, Ashley and others for their great attitude and professionalism. They are friendly, flexible and can find the right schedule.Dr. Shiva Aslanpoor worked on my neck and back. The first day she explained the plan of what we are going to do, how long it will take and how many sessions will be required on average. I did home exercises as prescribed and went 2-3 times a week for physical therapy. I felt improvement after the third session. I liked the exercises because it was complex and took into account my other health problems too. Dr. Shiva Aslanpoor provided hands-on physical therapy on my neck and back. She asks questions and re-evaluates the problem before each session. During therapy, she is very collaborative.Due to her therapy, my pain decreased gradually and my neck gained its flexibility. I am very happy with the result.The office is very clean and safe. They disinfect after each patient, everybody wears masks.

2021-07-13Physical Therapy can be an intimidating process. Throughout it all I felt a personal touch and received individual attention no matter how busy they were. Everyone form the Front Desk to the Assistants to the Therapist makes you feel welcome and comfortable. Most importantly they do care about your personal treatment and well-being. I hope to not need to go back for more PT but if I do, I know exactly where I am going.
