I would strongly recommend going literally anywhere else to buy your Honda. Through my own recent experience purchasing a new vehicle here, Ive found this dealer to completely lack professionalism or trustworthiness. Gaslighting and straight up ignoring valid customer concerns appear to be par for the course at Ocean Honda of North Hollywood.
I was surprisingly pleased by their service. I had called Glendale Honda, and Pasadena Honda, looking for someone there who could work on a problem with my factory installed car alarm. Both dealerships told me that their alarm person only came in one day a week and it would be later in the week. I called Ocean Honda, and they said any of their repair people could work on the alarm. I went there, and they were able to troubleshoot it and fix it for even less money than they had estimated.
I just wanted to take a quick minute to rate my experience at the Honda Dealership of North Hollywood. As you can see I gave them 5 stars. More importantly I’d like to give high praise to my car salesman Jorge Rodriguez. I was going in as a first time car buyer and he made the whole process as easy and non-stressful as can be. His approach was very relaxed, funny without pressure. Going in already done my homework I knew the deal I needed and Jorge found a way to make it work in my favor and I couldn’t have asked for more than that. He even drove over to the sister store they had just so I could get the exact color I wanted!!! He will really go over and beyond which is what everyone deserves!! Thank you Jorge Rodriguez for the amazing and fun experience definitely recommending you to anyone I know who’s looking for an upgrade. I know for a fact they won’t regret it. 😎
Staff is extremely unprofessional. One of the girls who answered the phone was named Maria, the other girl I didnt catch her name. All I needed was to be transferred but instead they played games. They wouldnt answer the phone without me calling with a private number, and they also had a male staff member answer the phone and laugh instead of help me. This place is disgusting and filthy. So sad that these are the people with jobs and others who are competent dont. Save your energy and time and get yourself to ANY other location of Honda besides this one.Robertson Honda was the best, Ocean of Honda is an embarrassment to vehicles.
This is a review for my most recent experience. I had a great experience when I first leased my car. However, as I begin the lease return process which I am new to, Im experiencing a bait and switch sales tactic that I dont have time for. They called me to do a lease return inspection and offered a free detail at the same time. I thought that was great but when I arrived they just kept asking what car they could get me into next and when I said I wasnt interested in getting a new car and I just want to know what I will owe if anything on this car, they said oh, we dont do that kind of inspection, thats a 3rd party. So, I said, that was misleading but Ill just get the car detailed and go. Nope. They dont do details just simple car washes. I drove to the valley for this colossal waste of time. Not happy with the misleading jargon or the fact that they supposedly pride themselves on integrity and valuing your time.
Horrible experience. Went to look at a used car. The price they advertise is not the true price of the car. They add on Thousands and Thousands of dollars of additional costs. Big scam. They say a GPS system has been installed on the car and you have no choice but to purchase it. Thats $1,600. You also have to pay $600 or $700 for some 3M protective coating and two other BS items, including some warranty they say you have to buy. Big rip off. Its a scam Dealership. Stay away.
Im a first time buyer and had no clue what i was getting into when i walked into this dealer. I went with my mom and aunt who have also not purchased a car before. We were all nervous but right away we were greeted by Jorge Rodriguez who assured us he would help get us the best deal possible. (which he did!) Throughout the whole process, he was always kind and patient, even with the millions of questions thrown at him by us all. He was able to answer everything we asked and continuously made sure we understood what was being said. As a first time buyer, I knew nothing. He made sure to explain both the leasing and buying process and gave me the best prices for both. He also made sure the deals fit around our budget and got us a deal better than the one we were going for. We all felt confident in the purchase as well as the sales person and we will definitely be going back with Jorge once my mom and aunt are ready to buy! We will also be going back with Adel, the finance manager, who just like Jorge, was happy to answer all of my moms questions.
Tam and Stuart were exceptional! I have not bought a new car as a single woman since 1986.I was very nervous and scared to do this all on my own. Tam and Stuart made me feel so comfortable and I completely trust them both with the purchase of my car. I will be a Honda fan forever and when I need another new car - this is where I will shop! WHAT A GAME THEY PLAY HERE!DONT DONT BELIEVE THE GOOD REVIEWS, as ppl who posted them unfortunately do not know how they have most likely been ripped off.Hidden fees, add ons ridiculously over charged.They tried to justify $7,100. Of add ons because of the market.Other dealers DO PLAY FAIR.PLEASE SHOP AROUND and find a decent dealership.
Worst experience Ive ever had with customer service and false pricing online, their set pricing on 3rd party apps CarFax Cargurus etc ISNT the right price listed when coming into the dealership according to the manager that was in charge. The car last listed on CarFax for 20,900 but coming into the dealership there was $7k more of initial add ons THAT they already installed that we MUST purchase the car with. This is without sales tax, horrible business had us waiting an hour for the car to arrive to the dealership when they already knew a day prior of our arrival.Drove 2 hours to this dealership and was greatly disappoint with this business and advice others not to shop for a car here.Bad attitude from sales man leaving, Horrible Business and false pricing once again dont go here..
Jorge really out did his self this past Friday with helping me get the same exact car i had previously!At first i was kinda nervous on coming in but i can just hear it in his voice that he was going to help me the best way he can and he did just THAT ! i just wanna say thank-you again Jorge to you and your Manager. i will definitely refer my family and friends !!
I had the honors of being helped by Jorge on purchasing my very first car. Looked at a Honda Accord, but once Jorge showed me the new 2022 Honda civics, I couldn’t resist. Buying a car is tough, stressful and nerve-wracking. Ashot made the experience friendly and stress-free. He got a car that wasnt ready yet but listed online available for me to test-drive next day and I was sold. Friendly faces and nice people all around. Got the car detailed day after purchase with no hassle. Included oil changes for 2 years/12k miles and of course Honda certified which is exactly what I was looking for in a Honda. Highly recommended! Ask for Ashot :)Recently went for my first service since purchasing the car (covid didnt have me driving much, so a year passed w/o incident) for a routine oil change and it was painless and easy!
Great experience if you’re looking to buy a car I would not hesitate to say to come to this dealership it has great customer service and the employees are focused on giving you the best offer. Two people in particular that really helped me with my first car purchase are Carlos and Stuart they both took the time to understand me and to work in my budget also gave me good advice for this big purchase, really appreciate both of them and I will for sure be back soon to purchase another one in the long run. I’ve gotten my current car and last car from Ocean Honda. The service department is great! I went in with a very specific request. I told the sales woman multiple times via text about my requests. After waiting almost an hour after arriving I was given “good new, good news, and bad news” from a man who I wasn’t working with. Prior to them walking over I heard the man say “ let’s give it a try”. Good news they could get me in to a car today but they wouldn’t be able to meet the one request I asked which was very important. The man continues to mansplain things to me, trying to convince me out of my one request. I left with both if us having wasting time. They could have given me the bad new without running my credit.As mentioned before I have gotten other cars from here but once this lease his up I will return there car and go somewhere else.
Sales rep,Jorge Rodriguez is definitely the person to go to when needing to get a car. My mom went in as a nervous first time buyer and he made the whole experience smooth and well explained for her. He sets a very joyful mood while keeping everything very professional. Also, he did EVERYTHING in his hands to help get the best offer for my mom. She walked out with a 2022 Honda Civic sport 😎
My experience at Ocean Honda was great. Cornelius took his time to walk me through all the features of the car as well as the breakdown of the payment altogether. There was room for mutual negotiation and even when I had to take the night to think over my decision, they still honored the out the door price they had presented me with the day before. Dean and Lenny were also extremely helpful, understanding, and honest. Buying a car can feel like a painful experience but thanks to all of them it did not feel like this at all.

I had an amazing experience with Ocean Honda. They really helped me get what I wanted with the financing that worked for me. I really appreciated Oscar and his patience with me answering my questions, prepping the car, and giving me the time and space to make my decisions. I appreciated Carlos and his clear communication and experience. Ms Lopez the manager was also helpful in updating me on the progress of the vehicle as it was being prepped and serviced. I’d been to a few dealerships that day and Ocean Honda was the best.
Due to the shortage, dealers prices are much higher than their websites. So I called before I went there, try to get an estimate. The agent refused to give me a quote over the phone. Eventually, I went there; an old male agent showed me a Civic, and when I asked for the price, he asked if I would buy the car today. I told him that Im shopping around and trying to find the best deal. And he said if I wont buy today, then he doesnt want to waste his time. Best service ever!!
I’m not one to leave reviews, but I just had such an amazing experience at Ocean Honda that I must! The team at Ocean Honda is by far the most honest, ethical, & professional team I’ve ever experienced!I would like to thank the sales manager Dean, as well as Tam, and the entire Ocean Team for their professionalism and for really listening and caring about my needs! The entire team was so incredible; I couldn’t believe what an easy going experience I had.Not only did they keep my monthly payment were I needed it, without ever once trying to up sell me, I was able to trade in my current vehicle in which the lease was about to expire. I know without a doubt, I could not have got this deal at any other dealership as I had already been doing my homework! I was also able to get the exact color and model that I wanted.Everyone went way above and beyond my expectations and allowed me to drive off their lot with a beautiful new 2021 Honda Civic feeling very happy about the outcome and experience! I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new or used Honda vehicle to go thru Ocean Honda!

I am extremely disappointed with the service received at this Honda, especially in the service department. I have been waiting for months to get my brand new car fixed that was sold to me faulty and I haven’t received any update from anyone. Instead, I have to call to get an update which just results in me being placed on hold and transferred to all the departments. Had I known this would be how I would be treated after buying a brand new car from them, I would have taken my service elsewhere. I am shocked at how bad the service has been.
Trevor in Service was absolutely helpful in all of his attentiveness and superb customer service. Salko my sales person made sure he also took great care of me and last but not least Larry, was very excellent as well in the Parts Department. I’ll always keep this dealership in mind when I refer someone.
Shoping for cars is hard but stuart really went out of his way to help me find the perfect car! I really appreciated all of their service and the staff was so kind to me. Joe my service tech was very knowledgeable, helpful and gave me an accurate time it was done despite the overflow of customers. It was very, very busy. The mechanic put on wiper blades and changed my oil. I bought blades for my other car, brought it that and the mechanic changed them right there and showed me how it is supposed to be done.
Ocean Honda is the only place I take my Honda CR-V for service. They are always friendly, efficient, clean and on time! I also know that my car will receive the best service and Honda parts which is important to me as I tend to keep my cars a long time; I had my Element for over 13 years!
I’ve been to the service department twice for tire issues and both times I’ve had the pleasure of having Trevor assist me as the service rep. He’s very personable and has a great attitude and has always gotten me out of the shop in about an hour. Great service all the way! He’s the best!
I hate writing reviews, but y’all…!! 12/10 recommend !!Car shopping is super stressful, but the staff here is willing to work with you. I got the car I wanted, in the color I wanted + extra accessories IN MY BUDGET. Sako & Nina were so patient/amazing throughout the whole process— they even helped me get a lower interest rate when I didn’t think it was possible. Some dealerships are going to make you feel like you have to settle and you don’t have to do that here.Still feels like a dream for meTHANK YOU OCEAN HONDA !!!
Silvia was great, very sweet and pleasurable. Carlos in finance was awesome and broke everything down for me. Finance manager was straight forward with me and did what he could to get me as close to what I wanted to work with. All in all I had a great experience and was out of there in under 3 hours with the car I wanted and not feeling like a got hosed.
I usually dont right reviews but wanted to share my experience here. Came here to see a a used Honda, unfortunately it was sold the previous day. I was about to leave but the Manager convinced me that he could help me get the car I wanted if I gave his team a chance, so I did. I know I probably could have walked out with a new car but I was more interested in getting a used car. Gema was the person who showed me and my boyfriend all of the cars. Overall experience was great. Carlos from finance was also great, he really did his best to get me the monthly payment I wanted. When it was time to write the contract we were helped by Dave. He was very nice and fast. He explained all of our options for additional warranty and what they covered. It never felt as if he was trying to push the warranty, instead it was more informative and brought up real life scenarios with good points made as too why the extended warranty would benefit me. Overall coming from someone who said I wouldnt give in to extended warranty, it was worth it. Base on the options I chose I have the piece of mind that for the next 7 years? My car will be well taken car by Honda and wont have to reach out to my insurance to make claims that will cause my premium to go up. Im also getting my car dropped off to my home! Which is great because I didnt want to drive it back that same day.Thank you Ocean Honda of North Hollywood! Will definitely be back when it is time to purchase another car :).

I went in hesitant and unsure of how i was going to be treated as a female first buyer but Jorge Rodriguez was incredibly patient and respectful of my decision and needs. He did not speak down to me and kindly explained my options to me without pressuring me to make a decision. I walked out with a great deal and beautiful car. I cannot recommend him enough especially for first time buyers and women looking to be given a great deal. If you want a deal you won’t find elsewhere, go directly to him.
I really wish I could give this review all the way up to 5 stars but my bad experience with TINA BELL (who I found out is an assistant manager),is still lingering in my mind. HOWEVER,my family and I have been coming to this dealership for service even when it was still Robertson Honda. I want to give a huge shout-out to Trevor for being so courteous! Probably the best service advisor Ive everhad help in Ocean Honda! This man is a huge asset to the company and I really wish he was the assistant manager instead,perhaps even the main service manager! But whoever is reading this please pay attention the names! Again,I want to mention Trevor AND JC for their wonderful customer service and genuine welcoming approach towards customers! But I gotta shake my head to the people in charge for keeping Tina Bell AS AN ASSISTANT MANAGER!!! this woman already has had multiple negative reviews and theyre all detailed reviews! She has good ones but theyre all short sentences.Makes me question if the positive reviews are actually real.
Ocean Honda of North Hollywood has been open for a couple years now. Yet, they have a Grand Opening Banner and Sign that never goes down like they just started the dealership. Im sure its just a Advertising Choice to make it seem like that a new dealership would be pushing to sell its new inventory at a deal. Well, they are and sadly, a little too much. They have an overly aggressive sales training program for their trainees and I watched it first hand. Its a mix of a bit of a paper reshuffling games that include them raising the price of the vehicle dramatically for a bunch off add-ons you dont want. Then when you say its too expensive, they knock down off those fees and act like they are doing you a favor if you buy the vehicle right then and there. Their inventory isnt very big so when you actually know which vehicle you want with what exact features and color, they dont have it. At that point they do the Ill be right back game, going back and forth to their manager and eventually when youve told them straight up, no or youll think about it or your still browsing, they call in their manager to try and close you one last time even harder. It was a choir to browse for a car and even harder dealing with the salesman. Way too aggressive and intense for me. I want to go home knowing I got the car I wanted exactly at the price that makes sense to me. Not the old bait and switch games salesman have been doing for years and pressured into buying something I dont want.
Worth noting before going, this dealership adds upwards of $5,000 worth of upgrades to used cars. I don’t want to definitively say that that is done for ALL used cars because that may be untrue. That said, it was true for all of the used cars I looked at. That information was not disclosed on CARFAX, at least not on the cars that I found. The price that I saw listed online was before those add-ons (so $5,500 short of the actual price). When I commented that this felt a bit shady, one of the managers told me that information should be included in the listing in the description essentially blaming me for missing the information. However, I went back to check when I got home and it most definitely was not included. (I use the app, not sure if that would make a difference.) Despite me making it very clear that I would NOT be buying today, they sent two managers out to chat with me in addition to having the original sales person and a trainee present. It made me feel real uncomfortable, pressured, and cornered. The car salesman was great, very respectful. So no complaints there! But after waiting 45+ minutes for them to give me a rough estimate, I had spoken more to the managers than the sales person and I was most certainly not in the mood to buy from that dealer. When I told them for the third time that I did not want even a soft pull on my credit and I understood the estimate would be just that, a ROUGH estimate and assured them that was enough for me, they basically told me to have a good day and sent me out the door with no numbers. Why didn’t they tell me they wouldn’t give any estimates without a credit pull BEFORE I waited over 45 minutes? The next dealership I went to was able to give me an out the door, itemized pricing in 5 minutes, exactly what I asked for. This admittedly may have been a personality clash because I see the reviews are overwhelmingly positive and I want to be clear that the salesperson was fine. It was more the two male managers that also came out and talked to me as if I didn’t understand what they were saying. I would just urge buyers, especially women/people who try to be patient and kind, to reconsider going through this dealer or to at least go in prepared if you don’t want to have your time wasted.
I found a car on carfax and traveled 3 hrs away from home to get a good deal. Leonard was my sales rep. He explained how the price couldnt go down because of packages they had installed. They were trying to sell the car for 3,500 more than advertised. Becareful, prices arent true prices. I was going out there on a budget and ended up wasting my time. I am so disappointed they shouldnt false advertise, we are honest people.
Wow!! This is the second purchase from Ocean Honda and I couldn’t be happier. They make thing so clear and easy. People need to realize that Ocean Honda is 100x times better than Galpin Honda. I’ve tried close a deal at Galpin but was unsuccessful and time consuming. Ocean Honda makes the buying process fast, easy and simple. They will work with your situation and make it happen. Speak with Eddie Ghotikar, the Sales Manager he is the best at what he does. He will make sure that you are taken care of. Upgraded from Accord to a Pilot. Will definately use Ocean Honda for future Car purchases.
My overall experience was great. Come to think of it, I’ve never had a bad experience at Ocean. I got there at 8am to drop off my car for an oil change as I typically do. I made my way to the waiting area to grab some hot chocolate. There were 5 other people already in the waiting area. Tables and chairs were spread apart, so I appreciated that.While waiting, I decided to run some errands as I expected it would take a couple hours until I got my car back. About an hour after leaving Ocean, I received an automated text about the recommended maintenance my car needed. All I needed to do was click a link within the text and either approve or decline the service(s) - so convenient! I declined the services, but got my car back within 1.5 hours from drop off! The fastest appointment I’ve ever had.Shoutout to JC!
You would never go wrong with Ocean Honda of North Hollywood. Luckily we were connected with Sarkis Minassian who answered all our questions and found us the perfect car. His customer service was outstanding from the initial meet through delivery of the car.Best car salesperson I have dealt with! Highly recommend!
Went in to buy a new honda for $26,000 like stated on the Honda site and they up charge it at this location to $36,000. I asked why they they had an additional $5,000 for one of the upcharge fees and he said because of the sonic grey paint? On the Honda website the sonic grey is an additional $350 it not like there painting it themselves. I understand a upcharge on a new car is common on new cars but $10,000? This place is just a cashgrab not to mention the additional $10,000 is non negotiable. Maybe it’s just cause I’m young they tried taking advantage of me
Service was friendly and FAST. I had my oil changed, transmission serviced and brake pads changed, and A/C diagnosed and serviced in three hours.The service at check in was friendly and quick. My total of service was $1,800. In not a car person so I have no idea if this was a good price for a honda civic 2009.
I got my first car from here. I told them that I have no experience or clue and they made me put my signature in a paper and they give me the keys of a car, with a very expensive monthly payment. 3 years latter I want buy the car and they are charging me $5000 for certify my car. I also want to mention that One time I had a problem with the car and road assistance couldn’t help me, I went to finance to ask for information and they don’t know the right number for RA. After you buy the car they are very rude, do yourself a favor and get away from them.
I went to Ocean Honda for my first new car and I could not be happier. I had the privilege of working with Jordan Armenta through the leasing process. His overall knowledge of each vehicle on the lot was spectacular. He made this process extremely fun and stress free. After the documents were signed, he still would check in to make sure everything was up to par and even sent me a couple great videos on some of the amazing features my 21 Honda Accord Sport had to offer. Tina did a great job addressing my car concerns. I was wary about the battery condition, its only been a year, however, 3 weeks ago I was surprised to some electronic problems and had a service engine light on. Turns out that I have a bad battery and Tina explained everything well and gave me some advise. Only downfall was making the appointment, no one called me back, no one answered the service number, and there was a system glitch on appointment confirmation. Overall, I am very satisfied with the service.
If I could give a NO STARS I would. Very disappointed and upset with my service here. I been going to them for years and the service I received this time was HORRIBLE. Still waiting for a manager to call me back. My car here for 36 hours and I had to call to find out what’s going on with it. No one called me and come to find out no one was working on my car for a whole day because their were no technicians there. That’s beyond absurd!!! A major company like this don’t have any technicians on site is blasphemy. Hands down the worst customer service I have witnessed

In general I never write review or leave any feedback but this time I’m still frustrated about my experience at Honda Ocean NoHo.I liked the car which I want to buy and we went to inside to make a deal. The women sales person which I don’t want to give a name, her speaking style was very rude and zero informative. She ran my credit without my permission and even before we decided about the price. She counted extra $7k on the tag price the reason was car have some accessories which I don’t need to pay. I felt it was a trap and left the dealer. Next day I called different Honda dealers and none of them counted accessories, only tax and DMV fee. Be aware before you decide to buy from Honda Ocean NoHo.
I just got a lovely new CR-V! My whole experience was made so easy and so smooth thanks to Stuart Lipschitz! I explained that I would not be able to come to the dealership but that I knew what I wanted if he could help me out. I reached out on Wednesday and by Monday lunch time I had my gorgeous new car! We texted and spoke and got all the details squared away. This was my best experience getting a car ever actually. I had been dreading starting the process but when you have someone who listens to your requests and follows through, everything is possible! I highly recommend others ask for Stuart because there is no time wasting of any kind and its such a fast and clean process.
Lets face it, buying a new car can be stressful. However everyone here at Ocean Honda made it very easy it was a very pleasant and fast experience. We worked with Stewart Lipschitz in finding my family a new Honda CRV. Stewart greeted us in the parking lot and immediately took us to test drive the new car. I had the best car buying experience. Cornelius and Clinton were attentive to my needs. They were patient and really listened. At the end, they made sure I got what I wanted. I truly felt like a valued customer. Clinton made sure I got the best deal and even got the car on the same day. Cornelius made me feel comfortable and even stayed after the store closed to program my vehicle and review the features with me. I will definitely be going back to them for my next car in the future.
Due to COVID, a couple of parts that my car needed were back ordered for months. Tina Bell in the service department was avidly following up with me throughout the wait to let me know the status update. When it was time to finally repair the car, I brought the car in and she fought hard for the cost to be COMPLETELY forgiven. Instead of a $1,800 bill, it was under $200 thanks to her incredible advocacy on behalf of myself to the Honda corporate center since these parts should have been recalled. I am incredibly indebted and highly recommend working with Tina!

Silvia, Justin and Dave all provided excellent customer service, and we drove off the lot with a beautiful new CR-V. This was our third consecutive lease with this dealership, and Im pretty sure it wont be the last.
I was incredibly anxious about the whole process involved with shopping for a new car, but my salesman Dennesses was an incredibly friendly and a genuinely comforting presence. He went out of his way to explain every feature across the various models, and find ways to accommodate exactly what we were looking for. It always felt like he had our best interests in mind as we went through the steps, and I deeply appreciate the couple of times he had to go out of his way to handle some special circumstances. I left paying exactly what was in my budget, fully satisfied and thrilled about how smooth the process went. This was definitely the best experience Ive had getting a car, and Id recommend friends and family to this dealership in a heartbeat.
The service was quick and efficient. I came in for an airbag recall. I appreciate the multi point inspection, it lets me know how my little Fit is doing and what to plan for. I was given a price on a used 2019 Honda Civic Si I had planned to pay cash for when I contacted Ocean Honda over the phone. I was happy with the price they told me, so I made the nearly 4 hour drive from Fresno to their dealership in North Hollywood. When I sat down to start the paperwork for the sale, they had added an extra $1,700 for a GPS system that they said they install on all used vehicles. I reminded them that they made no mention of this extra charge when I spoke to them over the phone before making the long trip to their dealership. I told them to either remove the device or the price of it and sell me the vehicle at the price they told me before I drove out to them. They absolutely refused, so I told them that got me to drive nearly 4 hours just to find out that they had lied to me. I told them that I didnt appreciate their dishonest business practices. They told me, Leave our business then. Be warned that if you plan on paying cash at any car dealership, but especially Ocean Honda of North Hollywood, they use dishonest business practices and they do not care about you or your business if they cant find a way to make a couple extra thousand dollars off of you.
I wish there were a ZERO stars option.A few weeks ago the car had an emissions system Problem light come on. We called, made an appointment to take it in. Car was in all day. Brought it home, light came on again a couple of days later.Called again.Told this time lots of cars with this issue, its a gas cap problem that we didnt fix. Really? Who wouldve guessed. Car remained in service overnight waiting for part. Next day called for an update and was told we had too much gas in the tank. Brought it home with light still on.Called again.Dropped it off today 10.30am.Third time. Told it would be ready by 2pm-3pm. Called Joe Lopez for an update at 2.15pm. Told he was busy but they were still working on the car.I guess this was roundabout the time they decided to finally begin to work on the car as this was when they realized that they had the wrong part. Brought the car home again - light still on.Obviously, no loaner cars now, no pick up or drop off available so 6 wasted uber journeys at my cost.We have had an issue here before and the manager called afterwards and said he was new and taking over a mess and things would improve.Obviously nothing has changed.Terrible service.
I had my passport brought in for recall work. When I got it back I noticed two tabs sticking out from under the screen. That wasnt there before and them leaving it there shows just how SLOPPY their workmanship is and how POOR their attention to details are. In addition the service advisor, Lisa Bell has terrible customer service manners: no greetings, acts like youre a waste of her time & acts entitled. Just look at their service complaint history and youll see how bad this dealership is. Avoid them and spare yourself unnecessary return trips and damage to your car!
Horrible Service. Didnt fix AC after servicing it 3 times in less than a year and a half. Wanted to charge me $800 on 3rd visit. Avoid Tina Bell. Horrible Assistant Manager who feels entitled in her new position Im guessing after the dealership let go a whole bunch of ppl who were there for a long time. The cultures has changed here for the bad. Business and bottom line first. Customers second. Stay away. Filed a complaint with American Honda and my credit card company.
Great service from sales representative Rina she did a great job in getting me in a car I felt comfortable in and did not feel any pressure into getting my brand new civic everything went smooth and easy. She’s the best!! She goes way above and beyond to provide a great customer service. :)

OCEAN HONDA! THE BEST HONDA AROUND TOWN! I had gone to the dealerships of van nuys and misson hills. None of the two helped me like they did here at ocean honda, with this new 2021 civic I bought at a great price and rate of payment! Everything was well explained by the salesman Stuart Lipschitz! Everything I need to know Stuart answered. A great variety of colors they had when it came to choose my car. I had come this honda since they have got deals out of this world literally. I am very grateful for this dealership and another good salesman, Mr Lenny to recommend me this other amazing salesman! I had one of the best if not THE BEST experience buying my last car. From the moment I walked in Carlos was extremely professional and treated me and my wife with respect. This is the only place where Ive been treated like a human being and not just a number. Carlos made the deal possible according to our needs and kept asking and trying until he got us to where we needed to be to afford the vehicle.Get this, Ocean Honda is the only dealership where they offer a 90 day warranty and 5 oil changes at NO COST to you when you buy a used car. Ive purchased many cars in my lifetime and this is definitely the place I would recommend 110%. We also had a repair done under the warranty and between JC and Salvador in the service department, Carlos in Sales and Vic-the general manager, they took care of me without a hesitation. They stepped up to the plate and took care of business. Thats great customer service! He was not only knowledgeable when it came to the history of Honda but he also informed me on things I didnt know about my Civic. Walking into Honda, I was greeted with a Hello from a nice gentleman wearing a face mask. His name was Stuart Lipschitz. I wanted to check out my options with my lease since I had my vehicle for year and made all payments on time with a cosigner. I wanted to see if I could finance on my own.Im a very straight forward person and I told Stuart if it wasnt possible, that I was ok leaving with the vehicle I came with. Stuart tells me, lets go see if you can, and if you cant ill let you know. So we go over my credit score and payment history and its great. We take a test drive of the vehicle I was interested in (2020 HRV). I love it. Now time to talk financing, Dave Dallons, really nice man that explained everything and made sure my paperwork was good to go. Stuart got me in and out in less then 3 hours. He went above and beyond and still checked up on me the next day. Thank you very much to Stuart Lipschitz and the rest of the Ocean Honda crew.
The professionalism and knowledge of the Robertson Honda staff is second to none. Rick is my service professional and has been with me since I purchased my Honda in 2015. is Rick is honest, consistent, knowledgeable and compassionate. He keep me informed about re-calls and I never feel like he is trying to make an extra buck or break my bank when I come in to have my car serviced. His manager is great as well. He is attentive and is always willing to work with customers because he understands that in todays economy, money isnt always plentiful. There is a family atmosphere herr and as customers we know we can trust Robertson Honda 100%.
I very rarely write a review, but needed to based on our amazing experience at Robertson Honda. We had been searching for a used Pilot for a few months and found one at Robertson for a great price. I spoke to Barry and worked with him over the phone. He was always friendly, honest and easy to work with. When we came down to pick the car up everything was done as promised and there were no new fees tacked on (something we had dealt with at another dealer). It was an incredibly pleasant experience and I would definitely go there again and I will recommend Robertson Honda to everyone I know!
Horrible experience dealing with this dealership. My brand new car has left me stranded twice because they sold me a vehicle with a defective battery. The car went from running fine, to not even holding a charge overnight. There were issues with the battery when I took a test drive, but I was assured that it was fine and that everything was covered under my warranty. They refused to put in a new battery prior to the sale and Ive felt pretty nervous driving it around for that reason.The Service Center was closed when I had these issues. The dealership hasnt done anything to try to make this right or get the added expenses (Uber) reimbursed. I am so disappointed by this experience and I hope Honda Corporate intervenes.I will also note that they tried to play a lot of games with pricing when I purchased - that should have been my sign to walk away. For those looking, its better to just spend a little more money and get a better customer experience elsewhere.
This was bad. Real bad.Day 1: I bring in my 2011 Insight to have an oil change and to replace a windshield fluid nozzle (which Im pretty sure got clogged because the technician left the reservoir tank uncapped and unfilled during my last visit here, but I cant fully confirm that). Anyways, was told it would take a few hours to get it done. After a few hours, I was told Ill have to bring in my car the next day because they didnt have the nozzle in stock. okay, no big deal I thought.Day 2: I called in the next day to make sure the nozzle arrived. I was told I had to make an appointment and they didnt have any times available that day. I had to make an appointment for the next day. Miscommunication from the day before, no big deal I thought.Day 3: They fix the nozzle on the insight and I decided to make an appointment for my 2019 Odyssey for an oil change and a software update its supposed to have according to a letter I received.Day 4: I bring in the Odyssey for the oil change and software update. I also mentioned the tire PSI is low for one of the tires. After waiting two hours, it turns out they are unable to do the software update and arent sure why. They gave me a loaner to go home.Day 5: They call me to inform me the van is ready to go. I arrive ready to pick up the car. I checked to see if the update did go through and it did not. I checked the oil minder to see if it was reset and it was not. I checked the tire PSI gauge and they were not filled (Isnt that a state law?). Wait a minute, I thought this van was ready to go?. After apologizing for not resetting the oil minder or doing the tire pressure, they told me they needed to hold the van yet another day in order to do the software update. Annoying, but whatever I thought.Day 6: The van is finally ready to go. I arrive and I check to see if the tire pressure was taken cared of (it was), the oil minder was reset (it was) and the software update occurred (it did!) Finally, this place somewhat redeemed itself. I went home and realized I forgot to check something. Part of the software update involved pulling a fuse so after all the things this place forgot to check before, I decided to check to see if the fuse puller was returned. It. was. not. I drive back to the dealership on trip number 6 to pick up the fuse puller they forgot to return.Forgetting to reset the oil minder? Forgetting to check tire pressure? Forgetting to check to see if part is in stock? Forgetting to check to see if the software update was successful? Forgetting to return the fuse puller? They offered to mail the fuse puller but at this point I feared they may forget to stamp the envelope or something.These are all relatively small things to forget, but these are what I consider the basics for a car shop. And if they are struggling to remember the basics, what kind of poor work are they doing on the car in places I cant see and verify? This is the place Im supposed to trust my 50 thousand dollars worth of cars to?Goodbye Ocean Honda. Robertsons Honda was worlds better.
I bought my second vehicle with this dealership in October of last year. The license plates were sent in the mail without registration tags. I have called the dealership over 10 times and left various messages with various people. No one has called me back. No one has bothered to help me. Meanwhile, the DMV has been backed up due to Covid and I can’t get help there either. I will NEVER do business with this dealership ever again because of their lack of customer service. HORRIBLE customer service.
I purchased my car year January 2016 and love Robertson Honda! My service manager is Don Richmond, and he is extremely professional, friendly and helpful. He answered all of my questions and ensured that my total appointment time took only an hour as I needed to be somewhere at a specific time afterward.Additionally, my air filter needs to be replaced, but he assured me that it can wait until my next service due date. I really appreciate this because I am on a tight budget, and he did not pressure me to replace something that is by no means urgent.
Honestly, I would give more stars if I could. I moved to LA from NY the night before I went in to lease a car, and was so petrified of what the experience would be like (never having leased a car before). Hamlet was SO amazing. He showed me the car, gave me a fun and thorough test drive, and was just so sweet. I returned later that night to do the paperwork, and he made it as easy and seamless as possible. I really felt like he was on my side and trying to get me the best deal possible. Dexter over in finance was also incredibly helpful and patient with me, while I made long phone calls (on Hamlets phone, which he offered because mine was dying). I felt so comfortable with everyone, and another worker, Barry, even drove me home in my new Honda Fit because my insurance didnt start until midnight. And he wouldnt even take my money for an Uber back to Honda!I also want to add that when I went in the next day to add a little package for my car, and ask a question, I was greeted with a hug from Hamlet, and smiling faces from everyone, despite the fact that I was there for probably 5 hours the day before (because I was busy making phone calls to my dad, etc). I feel like Ive started a lasting relationship with this team.Overall, I would definitely recommend this Honda to anyone. Their transparent service, patience, and comfort make me glad I didnt go with anyone else!!
I had an appointment with Maria at 9am to look at a Honda Fit, she was not there, so they appointed another salesman, Ashot. He was nice. We looked at a few Fits, but they did not have the color I wanted, only color they had that had navigation on it(which is what i wanted) was white. So they found my 3rd choice color at a sister dealership and was having it brought there that day, He was not very forthcoming in how long that would take, making seem like it would only take a few minutes, an hour at the most. I did not get my car till after 3pm. I was told once they receive the car, they have to detail it, wash it and gas it up..that took another hour or so. The floor mats were missing, so Ashot called over and got a set from service, that was nice, i guess. Adam from Finance was great, we had a few laughs and he explains things very well. By the end of all of it, I was so irritated, I just wanted to go home. This was a overwhelming and exhausting experience, especially for someone with anxiety.
Absolutely exemplary experience, as always. So professional, thorough, and honest. Very fairly-priced. This time I dealt directly with Sal H., who was warm, took his time, and explained everything going on with my car clearly. This is my go-to place for my Honda Fits service and repair needs. Highly recommended.
Got my Accord yesterday and Im still in shock how friendly and easy it was.Went 2 weeks ago to check them out and was helped by Steve and Paul. Steve showed me the inventory and took me for a drive. He didnt give me the run around like other dealers and told me bluntly what I wanted to hear.The price of the car and what I what I needed to pay. No haggling or anything, one simple price as they say.I couldnt get the car that day so I said I would be back.Came back and was helped by Ricardo. He was a delight to be around. He showed me all the models I wanted to see and didnt push me to get something that I couldnt afford or settle for a color. Spent an hour with me looking for the right one. Got back to the office and got all the paperwork settled and signed as fast as I felt they could.All in all the whole staff was friendly and accommodating. I would recommend to anyone to go see either Steve or Ricardo if you want a Honda. They make you feel comfortable and thats what I look for when shopping for a car.
This is a great dealership to buy your new car. They are fair and honest. They spent over 4 hours with me helping me get the best price possible. They didnt pressure me and I ended up with a great deal. Avo, Rina, Paul, and Baxter all helped me as a collective team customizing my purchase to my needs and budget. I started coming to this Honda because it was close to my office, but even now with working from home I still make the drive, because they’ve always been friendly, respectful, and fairly priced. I’ve been here for routine maintenance as well as to have my AC fixed and tires replaced on my Civic.
One of the best experiences I’ve ever had buying a car. I got a fantastic deal on a new Honda. They went out of their way to make my experience very quick and easy without any unexpected price changes. They are very clear about every part of the deal and can work with anyone no matter their financial situation. I definitely recommend checking them out!
I was shopping for a Honda vehicle, I decided to look online prior to going to the dealer. I saw a vehicle at Ocean Honda of North Hollywood the vehicle was posted online for $19,776 I called and made an appointment to go see vehicle the following day. When I showed up they had increased the vehicle pricing from $19,776 to $22,778 these people cannot be trusted. When I asked the sales man, why did they increased the pricing? He said there was a nationwide Hondas price increase. He didn’t even make sense. I went to another Honda Dealer and I bought my Honda vehicle.
I had a wonderful experience here. The workers were very kind and helpful. Before I went to this place I had gone to Hamer Honda. They were very rude and weren’t really helping us get a better deal on the car. Once I came to Robertson Honda, I was amazed by the difference of both places. I ended up getting my car from here! The staff were very friendly since the beginning. They were getting to know us and helped us get the best deal.
Excellent dealership, plenty of cars and excellent salesmen. Henry was extremely professional and courteous (and hes a car guy too folks!). Hell set you up just right. Cant be more satisfied. The finance manager on the other hand Tony had a bit of an attitude which was uncalled for and was being impatient and rude when asked questions even stating Im not trying to confront you when there was no confrontation what so ever. I was very close to walking out and not signing the final agreement based off this alone. I would have if Henry didnt impress me so much and I would have hated to take the sale away from him. Other than that, excellent!

I really loved working with Jerry! He was so patient with me and genuinely tried to find me what i wanted and needed. he actually listened. I went to several dealerships and it was uncanny the way i would explain what i wanted and they would try to sell me something else. but not Jerry, he is a good man and is not a salesperson. Just a guy actually helping people. I bought my car at Robertson Honda and got a 2013 Honda Fit. I LOVE IT! come to think of it, all the staff was so attentive and kind. I would Recommend Robertson Honda to anyone!

The service was great. I went there with a ‘Tire Pressure’ problem sign early in the morning. They took my car even without any appointment. They checked everything they could including oil change. I had to wait for 1hr and 20 mins. (It might be little faster if you go there for oil change and regular Maintenance). But for my car, one of the wheels didn’t align properly. The service included The Honda factory 5000 miles service, world class multi-point inspection, tire pressure adjustment Battery load test, wheel alignment (this was free of charge). They also replaced oil filter, drain plug washer and removed the gasket. It’s always feel safe after you had your car checked for regular maintenance and I really rely on Robertson Honda technical support. The guy gave me more than 20 dollar discount. The waiting room was nice and clean with free WiFi access. I really appreciate their service.
I always have a wonderful experience at Robertson. The people that work there are incredibly polite and easy to work with. This time around, I worked with Yohanna, who was great about keeping me updated on the status of my car and explaining everything that was being done in terms of the repairs. I definitely recommend Robertson for anyone looking to service or repair their Honda.

I walked in to Robertson Honda upset with another dealer and asked for a manager instead of going through all the steps, Mike Reyes is the manager that walked out to help me, he assured that everything will be perfect and it was. He had a sales guy help me pick a vehicle and he personally helped me with everything else. Gave me a great deal and made sure I was happy and had me in and out of there in about hour and a half which is a great when you are buying a new car. I want to thank Mike for being straight forward with me and that is what earned my business. I just hope its always that easy buying a car.
We went to Honda the second time after buying a Honda a couple of years ago,If I was writing this review back then I would not give them a 5 star review, I will give them a 3star review.Anyways I think they have really improved on their service and customer relationship skills.From the beginning till the end they were great from the sale to the sales manager it was a great experienceHonestly we just felt comfortable simple as that.We got a price we wanted and we were off with our brand spanking new Honda civicIf you had a bad experience with this place give it another shot.I guess some people do change

Honda Car is great. But Ocean Honda is very bad in sales process. Silvia is sales lady, she promise anything for sale or lease. And when you sign contract then someone will tell it is not offered in contract. In my case she told 3 year of service on car is covered by dealer. Then there sales representative will disappear from office. Now one of GM Rick Wielly, whom I told this, then he just said you signed contract, just take your car and go. Rick was very rude and shout at me.I did refused to leave without fulfilling promise, so they just write on paper. I do not know whether they will really keep that promise.So I will recommend never deal with them, Ocean Honda does not deserve business.
Stay away from Ocean Honda. This review is for the sales dept. Ocean’s service department is great - but the sales department is 100% Bait ‘n Switch.I came to Ocean Honda with a pre-approved loan check from USAA, my financing bank, who is a “USAA Car Buying Program” partner with Ocean Honda. This means I walk in with a check from USAA (for the full amount of the car plus taxes, licensing and title fees) so that I can be in and out with my new car, without haggling, without wasting any time.My sales rep (Shaul? tall white guy in his late 40s, glasses, friendly) was great. I told him which car I wanted, presented the vin, presented the check etc. He clocked away at his keyboard for about 20 minutes, we went out to look at the car, I drove it around the block, everything was great. We go back inside the dealership and he clacks away for another 15 minutes (i’ve been here for about an hour now) when he suddenly stops typing and says “have you heard about our interlock system? if your car gets stolen, you can track it on an app...” I tell him no thanks, I have car insurance for that. He tells me what a great value it is at $1199 - again I decline. He says “no problem.” A minute later he tells me he needs to “speak to his manager.”This manager crawls over 5 minutes later, a tall unsavory figure, crooked nose and cheap cologne. He shakes my hand and gruffly informs me that the interlock device on the CPO vehicle I’m trying to buy “is not removable.” I object for several minutes, tell him I have a check in-hand and that the purchase price was already set through the USAA Car Buying program - he isn’t listening as he puts on a smile that makes Donald Trump’s smirks look genuine - and tells me that I can leave if I don’t want the interlock device.A complete waste of nearly two hours at Ocean Honda. The bait and switch was a devastating waste of an evening at a time when I needed a car the next day. I called USAA and they are investigating. We figure the sales manager needed to clear a certain profit on the vehicle i was trying to buy and the number that was pre-agreed upon didn’t sit well with him. It was a clear violation of their Car Buying Program terms and I hope USAA removes Ocean Honda from their list of dealer partners.After some calling around I ended up leasing a new civic at New Century Honda in Glendale. The team at New Century was FABULOUS - completely honest, no numbers changed when I arrived in person from our previous phone call - and everyone was authentic and genuine. The happy family vibe at New Century is the polar opposite of the draconian chill-in-the-air vibes at Ocean Honda. You can really tell people are happy to work at New Century.After signing the contract for my new car at New Century, the sales manager Patrick let me know that Ocean Honda has an internal reputation for slimy sales tactics, and several salesman from Ocean have defected to other dealerships.
Had to take my car to a body shop to replace a mirror and they took it to this dealer to reset the module for the camera. Prior to that took the car to Vegas and it was not clean. When I picked up my car, she was shining. The interior was slick, the floors were vacuumed and the floor mats them selves were spotless. Absolutely amazing .
This was my first experience with Ocean Honda of North Hollywood. This was by far the most smooth and easy transaction I have ever done. I am from Orange County and wanted to get rid of my BMW and get into the new Honda Accord. I spoke with Tam the sales manager and we were able to process the whole transaction over the phone and email. I was over miles on my current BMW lease and wanted to get into the new car with as little out of pocket as possible. Tam made that happen. Honda cut me a check for the remainder I owed to BMW and I was able to get into the new Honda for nothing down and a lower monthly payment than my current lease. To top it all off, they delivered the car to my office in Orange County and I signed all the paperwork and was done in less than 30 min. Thank you to all of you at Ocean Honda for running a great dealership. I will definitely return to do business with you guys! Tam you are the man!
These guys are great. No BS let me ask my manager routine. Straight yes/no on pricing, no unwanted dealer installed options, reasonable financing. Everyone was friendly without being smarmy, and basically gave me that all around these guys are honest vibe. My salesman Gil was just an all around nice guy, and had me in and out in less than 2 hours.
Robertson Honda is a great place to go when buying a car. Chris Cabrera is amazing guy. He really made an effort to give us the color we wanted. And he treated us like his family. Great deal as well. I recommend to visit this dealer once before you make a decision to buy a car.

Had a horrible customer experience with the 2 front desk service ladies (Stecy and Maria). They were both unprofessional and lacked courtesy and friendliness over the phone. I spoke to Robert the manager and explained the situation to him and he was almost defending her, saying he gets great reviews over her from other customers, almost defending her. Not the best way to handle these types of situations. Maybe they’re all having a bad day. I’m not sure but I’m very disappointed and I don’t think I’ll be taking my car to Robertson Honda for service.

These guys here know how to treat every one with the seriousness and yet friendliness that one deserves as a customer. Terrible service. Called in a day before my appointment to secure a car. Arrive the following day to be told they sold it. They “try” to find me a vehicle in the greater LA area that matches what I wanted. End up wasting 4 hours of my time. Dealership decides to order me a brand new one and given a 14th delivery date. I call and get told they never said the 14th and had meant the 19th. It is now the 18th - still no car. My sales rep is outstandingly useless, the GM is “always busy”, and told there is no way to find out my vehicles whereabouts. Not to mention they tried sneaking more money via down payment (credit to the finance guy he was the most helpful and polite) as well as doubting my credit worthiness during payment negotiations.
BUYER BEWARE: DO NOT GIVE THIS BRANCH YOUR BUSINESS.I bought my car in August from this dealership. After being swung around for 8 HOURS, they exhausted me until I succumbed to the deal they set for me. Turns out they use your ignorance to their advantage, and have you pay OVER the market value of your car. When its time to trade it in, I refuse to go back to them.More importantly, they have YET to give me my proper registration. I have been knocked around for almost a YEAR. I have given them money to do this registration, and I have been absolutely scammed. I call them asking where it is, and they then say, Oh, we mixed up a number of your VIN you must come in. Oh, we forgot to do a smog check so you must come in. Now I am getting pulled over on the regular, getting fined, and causing me emotional distress and I almost lost my job for being late.All in all, theyve treated me like a small, lost child in this whole game theyre playing. Calling me girl and honey when I am a grown woman. At this point, I believe them to be discriminating of my gender, and taking advantage of me. I urge everyone to seek out a better branch, and to know as a consumer, we get to be treated with respect.
I know you cant please all of the people all of the time and since there are so many people quick to write a bad review, I decided to write about my experience. I have referred many people to Ocean Honda North Hollywood to see Silvia the sales lady because my experience was a pleasant one. She delivered what she promised. I love getting free stuff like everybody else but We have to remember that people work for a living and they cannot give customers everything they want because lets be honest, there are plenty of bills to pay. I cannot speak for everyone in that dealership being helpful cause some lady wasnt but i will not throw her under the bus. All i know is that because of my positive experience I will come back again and continue referring family and friends to come see Silvia. credit where credit is due. All in all 5 stars until the next review.
The finance department is sketchy and I’ve been referred to as “this girl” about 4 times in 30 minutes. I’m 30. Once you purchase the car, forget about quality service from the financial department. UPDATE: Made an appointment for an oil change, showed up on time and the service department “couldn’t find my appointment” and I have to wait for 2hrs. Once again, the moment you purchase your car, the service goes out of the window. DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR CAR HERE. Find another Honda branch.
Yesterday, I bought a new Honda accord at Robinson Honda. Hamlet helped me. He was patient, friendly and straightforward. It was a wonderful experience. I was satiated with the whole process, easy and efficient. I live far way from Robinson Honda. Hamlet texted me he could give me a ride. Since I did not have a car, I asked other dealerships to give me a ride. They were not glad to do it. Hamlet was the first person to contact me and gave me with his person phone number half month ago. At that time, I have not made my decision so I asked him different questions. He always answered them right away with patience. I did some research so I knew the new Honda accord ‘s price. Later, a few dealerships sent me email. When I asked them what prices they could offer, the dealer always responded back with vague information. I do not like to negotiate the price. I just want a real price based on the market price we knew. At first, I just want to buy a used one. But hamlet gave me a real good price for the new. That price was the one I had never imagined. He was the person who really cared about the customer. He picked me up at my home and sent me back at 7:00 pm, which already passed his work hour. Because my person reason, I could drive my car that day. Hamlet promised me to drive it to my home. I was so happy to have my first car. It was a great decision I made. And hamlet was definitely the person at Robinson Honda could help you. Highly recommended!
I had a pleasant car shopping experience at Robertson Honda! Friendly staff, great service, transparent processes. The salesmen are not on commission, so they can afford to be honest with you. I had my doubts with some of their claims against competitors (as I do with anyone selling cars), so I checked out and validated those claims myself. Robertson Honda says what they mean and they mean what they say. They are honest and transparent. They are not pushy. Feel free to challenge the salesmen on their claims, because they will back up their claims with facts. Pricing is competitive. If you find them online, try to get Hamlet as your salesman!
After a real bait and switch from our local Honda dealer, I reached out to Robertson who had helped family in the past and the experience was MUCH better. Everything they said was promised and the whole experience was painless. Didnt take forever and the pricing was no haggle and as good as I could fine. There should be more like these guys.
I consistently use Marcel in the service department each time I go get service. He has always been extremely professional and courteous. This last time Joe was my service provider and he is the epitome of professionalism. Just as Marcel, Joe provides exceptional service. I would like to thank the entire team in the service department because from the moment I enter (greeted professionally) until the moment I leave I am sincerely grateful for the character and knowledge of the entire team.
I bought a new honda pilot and the bench seat in the back has a dent which does not go away. One of the salesman said that it can get covered through manufacturers warranty and will schedule an appointment to get it replaced. 40 days later and I am still waiting for an appt. His name is carlos, he is nice in the beginning trying to sell you a car but after that he ignores your calls and does not keep his word. The other sales man is the same or probably worse. He was no help at all and everything that I asked for was a straight no from him... his name is Alex. I will definitely not reccomend this place to anyone, I regret coming here in the first place. Everyone reading these reviews... please do not come here and buy a car go elsewhere. They do not deserve our business. Customer service sucks here to say the least.
Excellent service and staff. Debbie was ultra professional and her timing was accurate as to when my car would be done. When I parked on the side to take a phone call, she thought something was wrong and came over to the window to talk to me. She was 5-star service! Scam artists. I bought and paid off my vehicle and when I went to file for a refund on my GAP insurance that the Honda dealrship owed me,the financial director gave me the run around. Its been months since I went in in person and he promised to take care of it and STILL hasnt been resolved 6 months later. Whenever I call nobody is available to speak on the phone and mysteriously step out of the office when I go to file the paperwork in person. I highly recommend staying away from this dealership and taking your business elsewhere.
This is the first time I am servicing my car on schedule :o !! JC is the best Service Rep, I trust him completely. He is extremely thorough and keeps his word. He also does a great job explaining the details of different services required. I have not worked with any other service reps at Robertson Honda, but JC makes appointments painless and pleasant!! I came in today to purchase a new 2015 Honda Fit LX. I was greeted by 2 salespeople (Hamlet and Dave) who were courteous, professional, and knowledgeable in their work. Not only did they get the right car for me, but they gave me a great price on the vehicle. The good thing was: the whole process only took 2 hours! After taking the car for a test drive and filling out the paperwork (including payment and financing), I was out of there with my car. Hamlet and Dave made the process as easy as possible, and as accomodating. I would highly recommend this particular Honda dealership, and to get Dave and Hamlet if possible. They are completely honest in their dealings, and you will get no frills or wasted time with these two. I would definitely do business with Robertson Honda again!They definitely take care of their customers, even those who come back for inspections and repairs.
This is a PSA for anyone in the LA area needing to purchase or maintain a vehicle...Stay away from Robertson Honda! Its been a nightmare dealing with them from start to finish. I am still trying to get a simple contract honoured. This post is public. Feel free to share, save someone the headache and stress! Heres what Ive been dealing with for the past year and a half:Purchasing: Salesman hid the car I wanted to buy in an attempt to sell me a more expensive carFinancing: the finance manager only ever addressed the man I brought with me, and never looked me in the eyeRepair: When I attempted to receive body damage repairs on my due bill ( a signed contract promising specific repairs that the dealership would perform if I purchased the car in its current condition), I was told that the contract was no longer validCustomer Service: In trying to address the issue, I was consistently told that any person who could approve a previously signed and approved contract or help me at all was not there and would not be there for several days. This happened at least a dozen times over the period of a year.Other Repair: When I brought my car in for other repairs, I was quoted a period of 5 days that they needed the car. It was not returned to me for 10 days. When it was returned to me, there was additional body damage to the car, damage that was not there when I dropped it off. The body shop that the dealership sent my car to refused to accept responsibility, and the dealership refused to help. They also didnt finish the job they were paid to do.When customer service finally contacted me, I gave them all the information, and told them I would be bringing the car in for service in 4 days to let the body shop finish the job they started, and that I wanted them to address the issues while it was there.I was told that the General Store Manager wanted to meet with me and see the car. I said that he could do that on Tuesday. I was told that....he wouldnt be there Tuesday. I told them I wasnt able to rearrange my schedule, but he could call me or view the car when I wasnt there. I brought the car in, let the customer service manager know when it was there, and did not hear from her for the 2 days that the car was in the shop. I had to reach out to her again to see if anything would be done.She then asked me to send pictures of my car to her, and then asked me to describe the damage I was looking to address on my due bill. After I had picked up my car.Other Customer Service:-Every Sales Manager that I have managed to speak to has been dismissive, condescending, bullying, and rude.-The body shop started contacting me directly, every interaction beginning with This is not our fault, behaving oddly and defensively, appearing to attempt to circumvent the dealership.-the Customer Service manager offers to help, but says that the General Store Manager wants to meet me in person, and thats the only way anything can be resolved, but I am expected to rearrange my schedule to get a contract approved....again.
My service rep at Robertson Honda, Debbie, was extremely helpful and understanding regarding my recent service. Although the price of repairs was greatly more than I had expected, Debbie took the time to explain why, and went out of her way to help with a rental vehicle and get me back on the road with my own car asap. Debbie is the kind of Honda personnel who will keep me coming back to Robertson for years to come.
I had a 1 p.m. appointment for service for a recall issue on the back up camera of my 2018 Honda Accord touring which I absolutely love and can tell you it was the best car buying experience ever from the sales department but my first time visiting the service department. Everyone was extremely friendly and upbeat but the recall notice said it would take 30 minutes possibly longer of course when they told me it was 3 to 4 hours they offered me a free car rental which I took advantage of and thankfully because my car was not ready until the next day however I had a car so that was fine. I would say if youre going to bring your car for service and this is basically Common Sense bring it in the morning dont come at noon time and I think that goes across the board for any dealership so Ill give them the benefit of the doubt on that. I had a list of issues all pertaining to the infotainment system that were all resolved and the guy who took me to get my rental was prompt and attentive and very professional as was everyone else. The only thing I would suggest is... I remember bringing other new cars into Chevy and other dealerships and a really nice touch was that they washed your car and it came back shining like brand new but this didnt happen. I just expected it would because the first service I had done was Capistrano Ocean Honda and I will tell you it was five stars down there they even have a woman at lunch counter serving sandwiches its amazing but I brought my car here cuz thats where I bought it and I wanted to give them a shot at service and see how it goes. I will say it did take longer but it was a Monday so maybe they were busier and I might have brought it at the wrong time but the only thing I would suggest is to wash every car makes the customer feel very special that when they go to the dealer they drive out with a clean washed fresh car and its a really really nice touch.

Well the people are nice but Id rather save money. These guys throw in all kinds of extra accessories and 3rd party additions. It makes their starting price about $3,000 more than most competing dealers. If you like getting ripped off this is the place for you. Do yourself a favor and just go to a few other Honda dealerships and see what they can do. Dont just assume they are all the same, youll save a lot by skipping on these guys.
We just moved my daughter out to NOHO and needed a place to get a couple items repaired on her 2016 Civic (she damaged the underside trim) and for future oil changes. I went in and was introduced to JC in Service and told him what needed to be done and we set the appointment for the next day. They were very accommodating as we had to change the time a couple of times because we were running behind due to getting things arranged in her apartment. The price was more than fair and comparable to the prices here in Texas. I have no issue with this dealership and this is where my daughter will take her car to get serviced while she is out there in NOHO.
I am so sad that my favorite Honda dealer is changing owership! I so much loved taking my car there for service! My car advisor Johanna is the best! She is so knowledgable and helpful!! Never pushes, but recommends. Tells me what is most important and what can wait! Hope the new owners are kind and appreciative of the old team. I go here for oil changes and overall, its always a good experience. Fair price, nice people. Their outgoing marketing (emails, junk mail, even phone calls) is a bit much, but at the garage theres no high-pressure sales or tricking you into services you dont need. I mean, they recommend stuff. And they could be slowly replacing my engine with legos for all I know. But as far as I can trust a mechanic, these guys seem legit.
Went to go buy a new car, a few days later I noticed that there was multiple scratches on the window after getting the windows tinted, one of the scratches was really deep, went to go talk to Carlos and herbert about this and they gave me a Due bill saying they were gonna replace my window, they both confirmed that it was ordered, I set the appointment, I show up leave my car at the service department, they had confirmed that they had the window before I left, only to get a call an hour later saying they never ordered the part and the actual intent was to just fix it but was to deep to fix, so now they actually had to order it and I had to come back another day to replace it, keep in mind this was a 2021 honda civic, from what I understood is I bought a NEW car not a NEW car with a deep scratch, I call the salesman because now Im furious that this situation is happening because again this is a NEW car, he starts passing blame to Carlos, herbert tells me that hes gonna have carlos call me and talk to me about it, I never received a call back, so now I have to show up to the dealership right after work, when I shouldnt have even had to go and he has the audacity to tell me that carlos was not there, which I strongly believe he was there, just wasnt man enough to talk to me or else herbert would not tell me carlos would call me back, he would have said right away that hes not there, herbert kept trying to blame him and then tried to blame service for not ordering the part. The audacity on that man, WORST BUYING EXPERIENCE, IF YOU DECIDE TO BUY A CAR HERE MAKE SURE TO CHECK THE WHOLE CAR FOR DEFECTS BECAUSE WHAT IM GOING THROUGH SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING TO A NEW CAR OWNER.

You know you are getting a good deal at Robertson. Beyond the price is the experience. We dealt with Barry Schwartz and he is a true professional. Girlfriend took her car her to get her airbags replaced die to some recall. They threw in a free multipoint inspection to tell her what areas of her cars need servicing if any. There were a few items that they said needed to be serviced soon and a few others that needed servicing in the near future. They provided an estimate for it but we declined because we have a mechanic that does our work at a very good price. They werent pushy about getting any servicing with them done. The airbags were switched out faster than expected and staff was friendly.
Your sale person are so rude, he does not have a good customer service, I want to buy a car from this dealership but eventually i ended up to purchase from different dealership. I have a quote from true car. He is dishonest to answer my questions. That is why he work as a sale person position, He talked a lot to make the clients to walk away from the deals. 2022-01-04My dad’s Honda Accord 2007, was perfectly fine with 0 warning lights on or anything. We took the car in to get it upgraded after being berated about a recall. We took it in and no less than an hour later, the “Check Engine” light went on. My dad called in to tell them they must have done something to his car because it was fine before they touched it. They told him they would have to keep the car over night to check out what was wrong with it. My dad told them he needed his car that day and it wasnt fair he would have to wait to get his car fixed when they clearly did something to it. They said there was no other option, my dad asked them if they would give him a car then because he needed to get to work the next day. They said no and that they couldn’t do that. My dad took it in because they told him he could and that he would have to wait for a while until they could get to him. My dad went and suddenly they are telling him that his car is old and it has to do with the emissions and they could fix it but it would cost him. The fact that the car was perfectly fine no less than 4 hours ago and suddenly they wont fix it. The manager then proceeds to yell at my dad and tell him to go ahead and write a bad review and call whoever he pleased because he couldn’t fix my dads car in the allotted time. We have had this car for 12 years and NEVER had an issue with it. I also think it is a coincidence that my dad heard a lady when he first arrived, before any issue, saying her car was perfectly fine and now she had a check engine light on as well. Clearly this happens there. I recommend going somewhere else.

2022-05-22They are the highlight of my hectic move to California. the service department was friend in answering my questions and helped me get the right parts. Day of service they were easy going and flexible, didnt even need to reserve an appointment. Gustavo was wonderful in helping me with the parts and was transparent on what I needed. Joe was great in getting my plates on and being transparent if some of my plans didnt go as expected for the plates. They also waived the service payment so I only paid for the parts. It was a warm welcome to North Hollywood.

2022-05-17Good quick service. The Honda Care was covered, and they told me accurately when I would need my next one. I should be fine for end of the year or even early next year. They need some sort of shuttle or car service to and from the center.

2021-12-22Jorge and Adel made the car buying experience a breeze. As first time buyers, my wife and I went in unsure and unaware of the process. Jorge was very welcoming, helpful, and patient. Adel’s personality made a usually boring process (paperwork) an enjoyable experience. Overall fantastic customer service and I’ll definitely be returning when I need a new car.

2022-05-27VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! It appeared the sales rep wasnt interested in the business and had his mind set on something else other than selling car to me. They advertised false prices to attract customers. I wasted my time and regret going there for the way they treated me. I went to another Honda dealer where I was treated with respect and finalized my purchase. Maybe they should learn customer service from other successful car dealers. No wonder they didnt have any customers whereas the other Honda dealer was packed with potential buyers.
