It’s a small airport, which is nice for quickly getting in and out of. Inside and out the look is very dated. A dated look is ok but this airport doesn’t appear to be well cared for or well cleaned. It looks dirty. When I look at this airport it feels emblematic of the United States as a whole. This place probably looked great at the end of the 20th century, but now it looks like the crumbling infrastructure we see everywhere. If you want nice things you have to pay for it, and clearly no one is paying for this.
Small airport thats convenient to get to. One of the few airports Ive visited where you could exit the airport and walk to nearby restaurants if you have some time to kill until your next flight. Dining options inside the airport are very limited and sorely overpriced. They have a dedicated bank of charging stations, but it would be better if they were built into the lounge chairs for better accessibility.
I love to fly into Burbank instead of LAX. It is never really crowded with easy access to the freeway. You do board the plane either by stairs or a ramp but I like that. You also retrieve your baggage outside which is different. Getting to the rental car places is a major walk so be ready for that. I wish there were a bit more choices for food and other items but that comes with a smaller airport. Definitely worth the trade off.
One of the best things about living in Burbank, or near Burbank, is that you can use the Burbank Airport instead of LAX. Whether Im parking, picking up or dropping off - its always super quick and easy. The terminals are clean and comfortable. Traveling is so much more enjoyable when it starts with a great airport experience, and that is what youll get here.
Holy smokes, arriving here was one of the most smoothest starts to a trip Ive had. Its a small airport and you literally walk onto the tarmac and then 50 ft to baggage claim. Theres no traffic, its super easy to navigate to the ride share area, and youre out the airport in less than 3 minutes. All without the hassle of LAX traffic.
Pretty good airport overall. Easy to fly in and get through security on the way out. Not many gates so it’s hard to get lost. The only problem is the food is very expensive ($20+ for a pizza) and the restaurants close pretty early. The early closing id what makes this place 4 stars instead of 5.
A pretty great regional airport. Easy to navigate, and hard to get lost in.I was, however, verbally abused by a crossing guard, who screamed that I needed to get my eyes checked because I must be blind, since I didnt read her hand sign. Absolutely the rudest person Ive ever met in my entire life. Not someone who should never work with the public, especially in a capacity such as this. So if you dont mind the verbal abuse from employees, its a great place to fly in and out of.
Honestly, dont know why I ever flew into LAX for years. Burbank Hollywood airport is small, but mighty. Everyone from the check-in people to security to gate agents were nice and super friendly and it was an incredibly enjoyable experience to fly out from there. Absolutely none of the stress you get from flying through LAX. I will be flying into Burbank from now on.
I’ve been to some ghetto airports but this is up there on the list. The cheapest food is a $16 cold sandwich or an $18 breakfast sandwich. Oh but don’t forget about the “it’s going to ask you a question on the screen below”. No sir I picked up my cold sandwich from the fridge. I’m not tipping because you did absolutely nothing for me. The place was clean enough and the bathrooms are really small. I’ll be avoiding this airport every chance I get.
Love the convenience of this beloved and historic airfield turned airport. Do yourself a favor and get there early to look at the historic display cases. The airport is easy to get into and out of, but if you have checked baggage to pick up, have patience as there are only two carousels and frequently takes extra time. PS ... Bring back Bob Hope naming rights .. the man did great service to support our troops.
What a great airport to fly into or out of. Prices are usuly higher than LAX but being able to show up an hour before takeoff and have time to spare is worth the extra ticket cost. Consider yourself lucky if you have the opportunity to use this airport instead of LAX!
Airport was super busy but had a good flow. But bring lots of cash, food is the most expensive of any airport and its not that good.$20 for a tuna sandwich...oh and a bag of chips.$23 for a very small hamburger and a hand full of fries.$19 for a small pizza...please. Stop and grab a bite before arriving.
Typically a small and easy airport so I prefer to fly here vs LAX when possible .This week it was super crowded, tho. There was a bit of a bottleneck getting the luggage and the car rental center had long queues (the avis app was not letting you check out the car as it would do elsewhere)Will keep an eye on it to see if it is a temporary thing or its dying due to unable to scale with its popularity
I dont mind taking early morning flights out of this airport but you do have to arrive early to go through TSA etc. Landing at this antiquated airport is not fun. You walk into a terminal wall to wall with people and then the wait for luggage has always been long for me - they only have two luggage carousels. I sincerely hope with the increase of air travel again that this airport gets the upgrade it deserves. The location is very convenient which keeps people using this airport.
I wouldnt normally review an airport. Theres not typically much to say about most of them but this was like night and day. Taking off from North Hollywood and landing at SeaTac, Hollywood airport wasnt overly crowded, despite plenty of flights coming and going and quite a few people traveling at this time. It was clean. Even the airport restrooms were clean, and no waiting. The whole security screening process was pretty quick. Lines were fairly short because the TSA personnel kept people moving through smoothly. It was relatively painless and the security workers were polite, not one rude person. They handled the couple of people who seemed to be confused about protocol, with patience and reasonable efficiency. The flight took off a few minutes early because the boarding process was quick, organized and on-time.
Easy access and parking. Short walk from entrance to gate. Southwest flies to and from this location. Getting in and out of this airport is great. Great restaurants nearby. Close to major studios Disney, Warner and Universal. Need an incredible sandwich? Santoros on Burbank Blvd!
Love this airport because it is small and easy to Navigate. One of the few remaining airports where you actually deplane from the back as well as the front directly to the ground and then walk into the terminal. But if you have a long layover, get something to eat before you go because food choices are limited. There is a bar and a Wolfgang Puck diner but the food side is a disaster. I was shocked by the amount of disorganization and chaos happening in the kitchen when I last visited
Burbank Airport is probably one of my favorite airports. The airport has a very simple entering and exiting for vehicles. Plenty of overhead signs while driving so you wont get confused and lost. Plenty of overnight parking and general parking structures as well. Ive never had any issue dropping or picking someone up. Plenty of handicap access and ramps. Workers are friendly and helpful. Baggage claim is outside so be aware of that. Not all flights fly out of burbank so you might have to go to LAX but if you can, i suggest taking a flight out of Burbank. Also not sure if other airports do this, but if you fly with southwest in burbank they let you enter and exit from back of plane as well.
They have small, serve yourself type kiosks, and they must not list prices because every time I get to the register, I get “sticker shock” at the fact that this is over $20. It comes with the “fresh fruit” btw. Then the tipping system on top of that doesn’t give you the option for no tip, you have to select, “other” and then type in 0 in front of the cashier 😑 terribleOther than that, the airport is great because it’s small and fast
The most straight forward, relaxed, and easy airport youll ever fly into or out of! Many nonstop flights available and Southwest is the biggest carrier. Airport has no jetways, but boarding the forward and aft doors on the tarmac is more fun anyway! Rental cars are a short hike on site with covered moving sidewalks. Also, has train service with a schedule that unfortunately sucks... Be careful about the 2 different train stations. The north station is a long hike. Otherwise, Burbank Airport is LAs best kept secret!
Update: There is a small restaurant at the front of Terminal A if you need a coffee or small bite before your flight. Keep in mind that you cant take beverages past security. There are plenty of self check in kiosks in the terminal, which makes getting to your gate much faster (unless navigating computer prompts confuses you). Ive had the pleasure of coming here now at least 5 times, and, aside from the holiday rush (which wasnt close to the holiday hell of LAX), each time has been pretty much a breeze.Nice regional airport with a decent amount of parking, curb space and staff. Great way to avoid the mess of LAX. It is quite small, so the amenities are very limited. There arent even food vendors in the airport secured areas as of right now. However, the airport does seem to be growing with greater interest from budget airlines like Alaska, Southwest, and Avelo. The new rental car center is huge. Theres a lot of new signage. Maybe more will pop up here in the future?
This was my first time flying into/out of the Burbank airport. Everything about it was very easy, from pick-up to drop-off and security. The gate and bathrooms were reasonably clean. The only downside was how limited our food options were when our flight was delayed. However, I was especially pleased to find a Mamava lactation pod in the terminal! It was a clean, private place where I could nurse my baby free from distractions. The pod was ADA accessible and even had several outlets available to charge devices or electric breast pumps. Its really nice to find an airport with this kind of consideration for nursing mothers!
I think the traffic people take it away to seriously and actually cause more congestion. There are crosswalks there and signal lights, its amazing. When I drive through New York City nobody gets hit by a car yet Burbank Airport has to have four people directing traffic. It just seems like overkill
LGB is still the easiest way into Southern California, but BUR is probably second, except if you arrive or depart near rush hour on the 5 or the 405. Checked baggage was delivered faster than any airport I’ve been to and they checked claim tickets to prevent theft of bags.Drop off and pickup is a cinch. The main issue with the airport is renting a car. The garage with car rentals is a long walk. Short- and Long-term parking as well as valet service are all closer than the car rental area. That’s the only negative to flying into or from BUR, allow around 45 minutes of extra time to return or rent a car.
Flew in and out of terminal A. In reality the only thing this airport has going for it is that its not LAX. Relatively easy to get in and out of. TSA moved right along. Dirty worn out and run down looking terminal. Few food options and way overpriced. Bathrooms mostly in need of repairs and small for the volume of people. Walk to Rental car center is a joke. May as well Uber over there. Moving sidewalks are broken as are escalators so have to carry luggage down to the terminal. Not enough interior seating at each gate. People on the floor and blocking the aisles. Looks more like an airport in a 3rd world country. But more likely the disheveled LA population ads to the effect.
Whenever I fly into Los Angeles, I always try to fly into Burbank. The airport is small and the tickets can be pricey if you book last minute so book accordingly and you will get a great deal. Hundred times better than LAX!! You will save time at security and pick up.
Burbank airport is by far the best in Los Angeles, LA. I would happily pay more to fly in and out of Burbank just to be able to avoid LAX. The TSA line is quick. However Southwest TSA line is the longest. If youre using jetblue, delta, american, Alaska the TSA line will take you no more than 15 minutes. If you have to go through Southwest its going to take you half an hour. This is still so much better than LAX. Plus driving up today airport is an absolute breeze, theres literally no cluster. Just a teensy bit of traffic but by the time you enter the airport you can get to the drop off point within 15 minutes maximum. Its the perfect airport. Avoid LAX go to Burbank!
A little different from what the privileged population may be accustomed to, but it was a nice experience to de plane on the tarmac and walk in. The service for the injured or elderly was excellent, and to add, there was a pay phone that someone in their 20s to early 30s asked, what us that for?
The airport is great, but the parking can be a nightmare. I pre-paid for Lot G parking and received my barcode by email to use when I arrive. Barcode did not work when I got there and the lady that helped me sent me a ticket through the machine to use to get out. My car was scheduled to be parked for a few days. When I got back, I used the ticket I was assigned and the lady said I owed 69 bucks for parking. When I tried to explain to her who I was and that I prepaid, she talked over me and yelled over the intercom. She then proceeded to tell me I was scheduled to come back the day before. Every time I tried to tell her I was back a day early, she shut me up before I could finish. I tried to find the old email that had my barcode on it but I was so jet-lagged that I could not locate it. Finally, the lady asked to confirm my name and she then realized I wasnt who she thought I was and confirmed I was pre-paid up to the next day. (Basically, the first lady did not assign the right person to the ticket.) They had to manually open the gate because the barcode still wouldnt work after she sent me a new email. Make sure to keep a copy of the email printed out or take a snapshot of the reservation number with your phone just in case you cant find your emails or if the barcode doesnt work. Dont let these people bully you. I was ready to call the police.
Maybe I have bad luck, but every single time Ive flown into Burbank Ive had luggage issues. Lost, damaged, long delays, etc. Its terrible. I just came back from holiday yesterday, and the luggage took over an hour AND my luggage was damaged. Its just the latest thing to happen.Youre better off grabbing a bite outside of the airport as well. Cheaper and better.
Its odd that at the BOB HOPE airport, the first thing you see is a sign that says you will be put in jail if you make any jokes!But- Burbank is SOOOO much smaller, faster, better than LAX... and many many miles more convenient than Long Beach, SNA or Ontario!(if you live in Hollywood/the valley)
One of my favorite airports in the world! When I fly into Los Angeles, I fly Burbank. Its easy to get to, easy to be picked up from and has an overall nice vibe. Everything just flows smoothly here! Recently I flew the new Avelo airlines, and the deplaning and getting my baggage from the carousel was 1-2-3! Bravo Burbank!
Small airport. Relatively quick to fly in and out. I was surprised at the long walk to rental cars. The walk is on an upper level covered walkway that takes you over streets and parking lots. Elevators were not obvious to me; signs took you to escalators.Terminal is a bit dated. Security was quick for me early on a holiday morning. My Hertz car rental was awkward with no car in my designated spaces and driving out, I was parked at the gate for what felt like 5 minutes for an attendant to sign me out.In the end, Im sure it beats going through LAX!
One of my favorite airports to fly out of. Its a small airport near Pasadena and much less stressful or crazy than LAX. It also flies conveniently to SJC and OAK in the bay so that you can keep your trip to low key, easily accessible airports. There is no CLEAR line but there is pre-TSA and the lines generally never get that long. From curb dropoff to the gates, its less than a 5 minute walk, youll just have to account for time through the security line.
My family makes it a point to fly into Burbank. We definitely would rather pay an extra couple hundred dollars for this pleasure. Smaller airport, fast & efficient security check, clean, and easy to navigate. The rental cars are all at the airport and are a short walk away.It really is just better.
The 2 main parking lots are still closed. The TSA check line was outrageously long!I would have missed my flight if not for a nice person that let me in the front of the line.Everything was crowded and cramped.Update May 2023: Parking is semi open. Wow, this must be the most expensive airport food in the country. Still crowed here.
Honestly the best thing about the airport is its location closer to Universal Hollywood and Six Flags Magic Mountain (relatively speaking) compared to LAX. Is in desperate need of an upgrade. Interior looks like it hasnt been updated since the early 90s and for the gates, there no embarkation bridges, you have to walk out onto the tarmac. Its certainly not a bad airport, the fact it is a convenient alternative to LAX but as for amenities and just being pleasing to the eye, its lacking. The best part was probably the rental car garage which was modern with the best bathrooms on property. If looking to get to Hollywood and north of the city, Id say go but if heading anywhere else, best for LAX. Hopefully the new terminal is constructed soon.
The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful. Its a small airport so things move a bit slowly and there are less options for refreshments. But if you hate the hustle and bustle of LAX and dont mind a slower pace, then this is the perfect airport. They have plenty of regional and national flights and are almost always on time.
This airport is a mixed bag, for me its way more convenient to get to than LAX. However the terminal is outdated in terms of amenities (though there isnt much space for them) and after my last 2 experiences here im starting to think they have a bit of a management problem. For instance, because of a voluntary curfew on flights, they have a period in the morning at around 7-8pm where a large number of flights leave at the same time, the first of these flights start boarding at around 6:20 am ish and for some reason the TSA checkpoint doesnt open until 5:20 ish (thus creating congestion as flights are crammed together at a certain time and TSA opens so close to the time that the first flights board it is inevitable that long lines will form in the morning)
Amazing!Has all the good parts of airports with out the bad.Every is friendly, they are not ready to pounce on you for thinking of taking off your mask etc.You still get to walk on the tarmac to get to your plane.Ala in all it is a much more pleasant experience than other airports.
Love this airport. Its small but efficient. The only draw back that I have is the restaurants. There arent many to choose from only three that I could see, and the prices are very high. I reluctantly purchased a bottle of water and tuna sandwich for me and my daughter to share from Wolfgang Puck $26.00 later I was not happy at all. You get a bag of chips of your choice that goes along with the tuna sandwich. We didnt even eat the chips because the only choices were kettle chips. The price was outrageous. I get its located in Burbank/Hollywood. Seeing that we cannot bring food into airport and your water has to be thrown away before you enter security. You are forced to buy the expensive items that are being sold at the restaurants and snack stands.
Terminal B is extremely tight. Not enough seating, closed shops, horrible food selections.Get b3 is directly in the way of tsa and makes a huge problem, also the PA system doesn’t work or the avelo employees don’t understand how to use it.Nobody heard our group numbers being called and we just had to get in line when we thought it was the right time.I told them it wasn’t working and the avelo employee gave me a nasty “well we’ve been calling so”Doesn’t matter if your trying…ITS NOT WORKING IDIOT. Grab your manhood and yell what groups you want.Just another example of how uncaring and entitled most employees are these days. Pathetic effort to not even attempt to fox the issue. Employees take you telling them there’s an issue as a personal insult these days. Weak, weak minded individuals that take their company angers out of the paying customer rather than their management. Pathetic
This airport is such a strange experience. First, incredible work by the team of traffic officers. Those folks were keeping things moving in what would otherwise be total gridlock. Its still slow when its busy but without them there would just be no hope. The airport interior, though, is just cramped. Maybe we were there at the busiest time but it was a complete zoo. People sitting in walkways because no where else was left. And finally, its old school charm of boarding on the tarmac is overshadowed by the need to climb so high to our modern jets. (Also, it took forever to get clearance to take off... No one else in front of us). Ultimately, the price is right for the overcrowded zoo exhibit version of flying.
Very clean airport. No delays in security very fast lines. They kept us moving. Pilots and Steward and stewardess were great the pilot from Reno to Burbank honored 2 elderly servicemen and it was very very nice the whole plane got a chance to thank the servicemen one being well into his 90s I felt very proud of your staff return flight was just as good back to Reno airport staff were helpful and actually picked up garbage even when it wasnt their job I was very impressed passengers were keeping their distance due to covid rules as well as staff I felt safe thank you all
Probably the most convenient airport, it is much better and easier to fly out of here than LAX. The rental cars are located right on the airport property. The terminals are right there as soon as you enter the airport. There are a variety of food restaurants inside your terminal. I always fly JetBlue when Im here. Just remember it is a smaller airport and if you come here to check-in super early, check out your airlines hours of operations, hours do vary.
So convenient. Everything is so easy in This airport. The parking in lot C is $12 a day, check in lines are short and inside has nice small eating and drinking places. Southwest has lots of flights from this airport. Thanks to them I usually take my flight from Burbank 👍👍
It’s not new and fancy like the Long Beach airport, but I really appreciate how easy it is to get in and out of this airport. No shuttle to the rental cars, just a 5 min walk. The TSA line is usually super quick and there are ample places to charge devices once in the terminal
Its a small airport but convenient for locals ... Instead of stairs up to the plane, theyve rigged long squared off ramps which are too steep and, imo, dangerous for anyone using a cane or forget even trying to use a wheelchair. Youll also need to keep a close eye out for your luggage on the baggage ramp as there is no one, at the door, checking to make sure your luggage is yours.
Maybe its just because I havent been flying as much but it seems like this place is always filled to the brim. With that being said this is everyones favorite escape from LAX. Its mostly easy to drop people off and pick them up, but it can get backed up down the stripe while youre driving up. The food options are decent for an airport of this size, and all the staff are friendly enough
First time flying in and out of this airport. No traffic getting in or out of the airport, going through security was a breeze and the staff was very helpful. I highly recommend this airport instead of LAX if you can. I’ll be flying in and out of Burbank going forward (depending on my destination). And the sunsets are beautiful (see photos)
Much more convenient than LAX if your travel plans allow it. Book tickets early to get better fares. Its easy to get in and out of. Pro tip, if you dont need to check-in for your boarding pass or check bags then enter the terminal A or B through the side door to avoid the crowds and congestion around the service counters and kiosks. Youll jump right to the security checkpoints.
I really would give them zero stars if I could . TSA by far have the WORST customer service I have ever experience. I flew out with southwest today and although it’s early I really feel as if they hated their job. I was yelled at by two TSA workers as if I was a child. They have zero patients and they simply do not care. The airport itself is very small and dirty. I can truly say I hate this airport and will never by flying through here again.
I traveled to this airport about 3 times now while it is small all the people there are nice and humble and are very helpful. I remember one time we had been told are flight was an hour later so we thought we had time to sit and eat real quick and the receptionist at the gates came and found us. We explained what happened and they were like no worries it happens were just glad we found u. A little kindness goes a long way.
This airport is probably the friendliest, fasted, and enjoyable places in LA. Its easier to find parking here than in a strip mall on a Saturday. What makes this place is the #JetBlue staff. If you have a bad flight, they fix it. Its like they are therapists too. They will ask you are the carousel how long youve been waiting for your luggage. Kelly knows my name and gives me a hug. CJ is incredibly kind and everyone loves him and he unites passengers. They work redeyes with #NYC and #LA and they are still kind and loving and get the job done! Talk about pushing tin! Give them their own airport!
Convenient location; I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn 9 minutes from the airport. Lots of restaurant and entertainment choices. The airport had ancient security scanning machines. Very loud - couldnt hear the security agent telling me to scan my boarding pass.Crowded, no, overcrowded when I was there for a 7:00 am flight. No seats available except for the other end of the terminal, where I couldnt hear flight announcements.Dirty, didnt want to go into the bathroom. A friend said the car rental spot was pretty far away, so I used my watch to see - .36 miles from the terminal. Will probably use a different airport next trip.
Its nice to have a smaller option than LAX but it looks like it hasnt been updated since 1978. The maintenance hasnt been kept up much and theres not enough seating, prepare to stand in a passageway for the hour before boarding. In general, the airport feels like it runs a bit slipshod, 20 minutes past boarding and no communication about why were not on the plane. Probably going to stick to LAX for now.
Its kinda funny. When we arrived, I didnt really think much of it. Its kinda small and you can tell its older and dated. But, they get the job done, flights get in and out quickly. I thought it was kinda cool to see the tarmac as we were boarding the plane. It is definitely better than LAX in my opinion as the traffic out of LAX is insane..lol
Burbank Airport needs to upgrade its services and amenities. It is too small for the amount of people going thru its gates. Every time I fly through this airport, Ive been delayed due to area weather or no available gates. I am so tired of this airport. Better to fly through Long Beach.
We waited over a half hour to get checked in and although we paid extra to have two queens they tried to give us a king room. There were on two towels in the room but four adults so we asked for more towels which they never brought up. Our keys stopped working early the second day so got locked outside the hotel (you need a key to come into the front doors). The workout room was nice but pool was very average and crowded so didn’t get to use but the workout room was nice. Free airport only shuttle every 30 minutes. No free breakfast and needs updates as it is dated. This is the hotel that Southwest Airlines flight crews use.
Flew into Burbank today on SWA. We were allowed to de-plane at front & back. Nice! Fast! Completely outdoor experience to get bags. Again, nice. Rental car counter is a little bit of a hike, but all outside, and under cover. So nice to go through a right-sized regional airport.

2022-06-19Best airport experience I have ever had! Small regional airport, you land on the tarmac, you walk down the steps, you walk on the tarmac and you walk directly into the airport. They have one baggage claim area carousel! You walk out the door, walk across the street, walk across the bridge and youre at the car rental. Excellent! Enjoy.CAB😍

2022-04-25A great gateway to experiencing the miracle of human flight. Here, you will be able to board any number of large metal canisters and be launched into the stratosphere, where you can REALLY look down on other people. Helps with personal confidence and is completely exhilarating. The food is what you would expect, though the hi ball bar seems to really get jumping around 6:30pm. I have been using this airport my entire life and have never once been disappointed…in all seriousness, this place is way better than LAX - it is faster, smaller, more efficient, not as fancy (but who cares), and they still offer pay phones, a shoe shiner, and classic vending machines. Additionally, the smokers lounge is exquisitely shaded & jaded - you can fill your lungs to the brim with tar to the excruciatingly sweet traffic controllers’ frequent and overlapping whistle blows. It is a divine symphony, a chaos-ode to traffic, a screaming hot, panicked introduction to the city of dreams. A place named for its angels both real and phony, in an airport that gets its beautiful namesake from one of the best silver screen travelers to have ever lived- bob hope, a ghost we all must suffer the world without. Last, and most importantly, you can board & exit planes both from the front and back door here. So when you’re coming to LA from NOT LA, you can get that beautiful hit of sunshine quicker if you sit in the back of the aircraft.

2022-01-02We landed at the Burbank Hollywood airport. The runway is short so the airplane makes a hard fast landing. It a very busy and small airport. The airport has full facilities with a great location to getting to a lot of places within the LA area. We were able to walk out of the airport and make it to Santa Clarita within 30 minutes.

2022-01-05I love these small SoCal airports. Easy to navigate and park. Rental car area is a very long walk. Super cool relics of the airport history all around.

2022-03-28What an old historic little airport. Very small and very easy in and out. It kind of feels like pulling into a small strip mall or shopping center. It does not actually look like an airport. All the employees seem friendly and helpful.

2022-04-08I love going to this airport when heading to the Los Angeles area. It is a very small airport and everthing is in walking distance. I really like the idea the the rental car center is right on site so you dont have to take a shuttle bus. There is a Lunchbox restrant that has good food if you arrive there early and hungry.

2021-12-11Great airport, small and friendly. Downside? Ridiculously overpriced food and drink. We love Avelo Airlines, and hope they roll back luggage prices back to $10 as they had at the start. But its a great airport, especially with the Amtrak and Metrolink train station.

2022-03-01Extremely disappointed of this staff member, this is my first time traveling at Burbank airport and have been a very uncomfortable and unpleasant morning in long time, as well want to mention I been a member with Alaska for the past 10 year, as time passes Alaska customer service is getting worse and worse. So this guy was at the door before me entering the airplane as we were talking I had a pen with Alaska tag on it because I needed to write something, without asking he pulled the pen from the top of my purse and dropped it on top of his coworker desk, I asked him why he would do that so rude as I was feeling he did it with so much racism… I asked for him name but he refused to give his name and he walked away. I asked the lady at the desk for the name of this guy and she said “ask him”, even tho she saw the entire situation how it happen from the beginning she did not care to say a word, to apologize or anything,. As well I had 4 item holding ( my Cary on luggage, a bag and the other 2 items were 1 flower bouquets and a small speaker) same guy he rudely saying I need to take 1 item from you because it’s not just you on the plane and you can’t take that much space etc embarrassing me in public, I did not refuse to give one of my items to check in but I was keep asking if he would take it or I have to go somewhere else and the only thing he was doing was pointing with his finger in the back we’re there ware multiple desks … anyways I walked there and the lady was keep saying $30 for your check in bag, I mentioned multiple times I have an Alaska card and my luggage should be free but she ignored me and keep asking how I would make the payment so I asked for her name, she ignored completely and said we’re done, I asked again what you mean I’m done did you find my luggage it’s free ? And she said you’re done so I assumed she did her job finally and I walked away, I left that airport almost crying because there are still racist people working in public and we pay for their services.

2022-05-18Small efficient airport . Security is so professional , moving people through with teamwork. Ive never had to wait more than 10 minutes. Tuesday night workers were the best! What is wrong with other airports? Just remember the snack store closes early bring your own for evening flights
