Stayed here for a wedding. Great friendly staff. Very professional, friendly and nice. The room was clean and had everything I needed. The room itself was pretty spacious and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean, well lit and the shower was great. I really liked the new shampoo and body wash dispenser. had a great stay after the wedding.
I stayed here for 4 nights. Im glad I made the choice to stay here. I felt safe and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and bright. It is a block walk to Starbucks and Walmart so the location is convenient for an extended stay to get food or coffee. There is also a short walking path across the street. Its close enough to drive to Napa without paying the higher prices up there.
This holiday inn was a mediocre stay. While the rooms are newly renovated, because its an older building it still felt old and not modern. Front desk staff seemed to be going through the motions with not much eye contact or acknowledgment when addressing them for check-in and other needs. True to holiday inn standards, the free breakfast, while simple is still done well, especially the cinnamon buns. The location itself is convenient as a starting point for Napa area activities if you cant afford the higher end chains that are in Napa downtown. There is a good childrens park right next door of youre traveling with a young family.Since we booked on points we cant complain much about the value. I am not sure I would spend cash for this hotel unless it was pretty cheap for the area. Everything was just ok, and at least the room seemed clean.
Great remodeled rooms. Comfortable bed. Air conditioner is distractingly loud in the middle of the night when it switches on and off so either keep it running or bring ear plugs. Staff is super friendly- breakfast is.. alright. The fresh cinnamon rolls are a nice touch.
The experience was as expected from this hotel brand. Clean, good breakfast, courteous staff, etc. If they could do something about the street noise with better window coverings it would be helpful as my room faced a busy street. Not terrible noise, but could have been a little better. The hot tub was closed (due to COVID?) which was one thing I was looking forward to. Overall good stay and location in Napa.
The price was right and quality was superb. We asked for early check in and the staff was more than willing to accommodate it. The room was very clean and all COVID protocols were in place and made me feel safe and comfortable during my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to someone looking for an affordable option to visiting wine country. Just a short Uber ride from where you want to be. Our Wine tour bus ever picked us up from the hotel!
It only takes one unfriendly staff to ruin everything. If you plan to try and check in early dont even bother calling or trying. After calling two times and being given a high probability of early check in, even 30 minutes, I was instead met with a really unfriendly and unaccommodating person. My check in person claimed they were still cleaning rooms even 15 minutes prior check in... But it was rather odd that out of all 10 people from my wedding party trying to check in , all ten rooms were still being cleaned? This resulted in a long queue as the front desk didnt bother even trying to start check in process early ... So be prepared if you are going to a wedding close to check in to either be dressed up or change in their public bathrooms. If it wasnt for the pre planned shuttle from the hotel to the venue I probably wouldnt have stayed here and definitely wont in the future...
Clean and quiet facility, very nice and welcoming staff. beds are a little too thin for extended stays. breakfast had very repetitive options (no bacon for 4/5 days I stayed). parking is very limited on the front part of the building, but not an issue if you use the side doors.
This was an okay stay. It wasnt exactly the lack of service from the staff as much as it was the lack of staff for the service. The bed was comfortable but the floor in the room was stained and the floors throughout hotel were dirty or had a worn out dirty appearance. The elevator had noticeable dirt in the corners and splashes of something along the walls. It was the kind of dirty that you didnt have to look for and made me want to ask staff for a cloth so I could clean it. Overall I wasnt thrilled to be staying there but when you cant cancel and theres limited lodging elsewhere you have no choice.
This was my second time to this specific location and I can say it was great improvement since the last visit this Holiday Inn was going through a reno. It was overall a great experience from check in to check out. The staff was very professional and courteous all week. There was some adjustments due to COVID-19 which are in place for our safety so when I requested room cleaning, clean towels, or service in general the response was timely and with a smile.I do miss the breakfast option before COVID-19 but understand why Grab & Go is the only option at the moment. In addition, it was so hot that jumping in the pool would have been nice. I also missed my daily workouts but understand the staff had no control of opening those facilities.
We were issued a great disabled access room. Close to lobby on 1st floor. Staff was very accommodating to our Airport Shuttle requests. There were some issues w/not being able to access the hotel internet on our computer, Early Breakfast p/u and water on the bathroom floor from the shower.
Very clean and up to date rooms, staff is helpful and friendly and the breakfast was an actual breakfast. Not just muffins and bananas. The price was very affordable. I stayed in another hotel down the street and paid double the price for a dirty room and poor service. I would come back to the location, which is conveniently located next to a shopping and 10 mins away from an amusement park, any day.
When a perfect review is deserved it’s all about the “whys.” Clean rooms and a dialed in and efficient Covid-19 system. Staff that smiles and engages in conversation that is more than a job. A wonderful shower with PRESSURE and water that is hot enough. A comfortable bed and a television and internet that are updated. And last but not least, a full breakfast, with a kind host, filling orders with a smile even though he had a few misbehaving humans being ignorant. Remember to tip! And definitely book your stay at this great IHG property.
Positive: Clean, modern and the free breakfast was a huge plus! Also, free parking! I booked in advance for a great price! Negative: I wanted to extend my stay 2 nights and asked for the same rate I was already paying per night and not only did they say they could not, the price was now double what I was paying. That was disappointing.
The staff greeted me with a smile. My check-in was smooth. The property is well kept and in a great location with close proximity to Vallejo Marine World attraction and Napa Valley wineries as well as other local attractions, i.e. Jelly Belly and Vacaville Shopping Outlet Stores. Travis AFB is within a short 20-minute drive. The facility is positioned with easy access to I-80, I-780, Hwy 12, Hwy 29, and Hwy 37. You are within walking distance of shopping, coffee shops, and restaurants. I highly recommend this facility as it is in a great location for the venturous traveller. Business/Pleasure/Family.
I stayed at the Hotel with many family members and Friends for a Wedding that was canceled last year due to Covid. The Service was Excellent, The Hotel took full precautions to keep the Hotel and employees clean and sanitized. Employees wore face mask. All guest and people who entered the hotel were required to wear a face mask I felt Safe.
Generally a decent stay. The Day Staff was very nice and did well. I was less impressed with the night staff. When I checked in I found two other guests waiting for a clerk. We expected they were busy with another guest. We all waited patiently for quite a while which was about 20 minutes. I was stunned to have the young man walk in from outside where he had been taking a rather extended break. No apologies - he just checked us in. I am also tiring of the COVID excuse for doing nothing to the guest rooms for the duration of the stay. While I can understand not changing sheets or making the bed, I find it hard to believe that simply changing towels, stocking the in-room coffee and emptying garbage presents too much of a hazard.
I booked this hotel for a night and wish I stayed longer. The hotel room was spacious and the location is perfect. You are around several shopping places and restaurants! The complimentary breakfast was ok, everything is prepacked/frozen. Which is understandable due to covid. The only thing I suggest is to update the TV - and clean the remotes. They were really dusty.
I had a lovely stay with my family. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I love the cookies in the lobby--nice touch! And the breakfast is always good. Our room was very clean and everything worked well. The mattress felt mushy, maybe its due for replacement, but overall I was very happy with my stay. We didnt have occasion to use the pool or many guest services, but the fitness center was clean.
The beds was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. The only downside was the AC was difficult. I had to turn it down to about 65 to make it feel like 72. At home, if I say the AC to on instead of auto it just runs the fan and kicks in the cooling when needed. I thought this AC would work the same way and I woke up to the room being 55 degrees 🥶.Again... Great accommodations, the AC is just a little tricky
The room was noisy from the busy street. The walls were not sound proofed enough. We heard the next rooms TV all night long. The Jacuzzi was broken. The pool area was dirty looking and had no umbrellas and not enough lounges. It took 2 hours after check in time to get one of the rooms that we requested.
The guest service clerk welcomed me back with a sarcastic “I see you came back.” I gave the clerk my name, ID and debit card after looking up my information the clerk noticed that my card information was the same as my friend and that he would not be able to rent a room to me because the room was for pleasure. This was very confusing because Iv booked at this hotel before and recommended the same hotel for friends who have stayed during the pandemic and I had never heard of this mandate. I asked the clerk for clarity on why the hotel was only booking guest for business. The clerk did not give a clear reason, which was frustrating and stated that if I was staying for business then I needed to provide an email from my employer. The clerk then told me the reason he couldn’t rent a room to me was because the room was for pleasure and sex. I asked that he repeat his statement again to make sure I heard him correctly and he said that what I did was my personal business and that my friend said that the room was for pleasure. The clerk spoke to me looking me up and down and looking at my breast, my blouse was sheer and this made me feel very uncomfortable and furious. I was very upset at this treatment, as I am by no means what I felt the clerk was insinuating which is that I am a sex worker. I gave no inclination that I was a sex worker therefore I felt judged by my style of dress. There were other guests present as the clerk was saying this and I felt extremely embarrassed and insulted. I have never been treated in such a manner and this is by no means acceptable. I had done some research on the mandate and have gotten some clarity however the customer service I received from Zacharia at this Holiday Inn Express was by far a traumatic experience. I couldn’t sleep that night or the next night, I instantly felt self-conscious about what I wore which I have already tried to be mindful of as many women are objectified and disrespected by people based on what they may be wearing. The term pleasure was used to, what I felt profile me and being that this clerk was not knowledgeable on the mandate he was able to use whatever bias or digression to refuse service. The charges for the room were not immediately canceled out, in fact I was told by another clerk that I actually checked out when I never stayed at the hotel. I want this matter taken serious and looked into and serious disciplinary action taken because no person should be treated in such a way. I was publically embarrassed and accused of being a sex worker when I am not. I will be taking this matter to the appropriate persons in upper management. It is my hope that no one will ever have to experience what I did at this hotel or any location. Hotels are safe havens for people, and what I hoped would be a simple routine stay turned into a traumatic disaster.
Friendly staff, comfortable bed and pillows, nice shower with good pressure. I like that they still allow you to order breakfast instead of just giving you something premade in a bag. If I have one complaint, it would be that I could hear some noise coming from other rooms.
The hotel’s too expensive. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The pillows are not good quality. The beds had old comforters. The bathroom smelled like it had not been cleaned. The bathtub took a while to drain while taking a shower. The water in the pool was too cold.
Positive: It was clean except the shower curtain needed to be cleaned. While it looked clean it smelled very sour. Even when it was dry I could smell it when I entered the bathroom. I¿ve had that in other hotels but this was the worst. Negative: Shower curtain. Read previous statement.
We stayed over Labor Day weekend when the hotel was full. Facilities were good, breakfast selection was good, coffee was delicious. Room was modern and well appointed. Bedding was comfortable. A/C unit was loud and frigid cold when cycling that caused us to wake up in the night. We had issues with maid service being so busy over the holiday weekend that we did not get service one day. Management needs to address their maid management to address guest while cleaning check out vacant rooms vs current guest.
Bianca and the front desk staff were personable. The hand sanitizing stations were empty throughout the property. When you have the maintenance man helping with breakfast you should empower him to feel free to use all the ppe he needs. ie gloves. to avoid cross contamination.I would like someone to contact me in regards to my bill.
During my recent stay I was immediately greeted by a very friendly staff. Check in was smooth and easy. Every member of the staff I met greeted me with a smile and a “hello”. I was very impressed. I was there for work and leisure and the hotel was clean, felt safe and met all of my expectations. The complimentary breakfast was great and I would definitely stay there again.
I recently got evacuated due to glass fire once I arrived and checked in I was greeted with Bianca in the front desk she’s was super nice and very helpful and told us about the rate they were giving evacuees. Ever since we stepped in the hotel we noticed everything was super clean from the elevators to the area were you could come pick up snacks to the rooms and hallways. I would really recommend this hotel to anyone coming for business or for vacation.
Complain twice on the same problem, on the same day…. Ended up changing room in the middle of the night. They should let us change our room right away when I complain in the first time. Then probably we will appreciate it rather than resolving the problem late in the middle of the night.
We have stayed here in the past. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. This time the hotel was not as clean as we remember. The bed cover had stains. The bathroom tissues had been touched to make a paper design. Also, fast food trash was never removed from the parking area for at least 18 hours. With the pandemic, we expected even more precautions and cleaner areas and room.
The hotel was clean, safe, quiet, and I was able to get a good nights sleep. Covid-19 safety measures were fully implemented. Breakfast service was grab and go, no coffee or tea due to safety restrictions. Other amenities/common areas were closed as well. Its a new experience traveling right now. The staff did a good job explaining what to expect.
I like this location because it is close to Sonoma Raceway (20-30 min drive). This hotel is usually pretty clean and the area looks secure. There are cheaper alternatives closer to the track, but I always have the feeling Im going to walk outside to my vehicle and have the windows smashed or some homeless liter I need to wade through. This location is close to other services as well, so I can easily stock up on supplies or have a nice sit down dinner within a 5 minute drive of hotel.
The staff was professional, helpful and friendly and the room was clean and modern, and they allowed my dog to stay with us! The TV channels are a little limited, the A/C doesnt get quite as cool as I like and the bed was a little hard, but those are just my preferences. Breakfast was good enough with a variety of options and theres a great little shop by the front desk with snacks, drinks and convenience items, too.
The breakfast buffet was great with a variety of choices. The lobby was a bit small. We stayed in a king suite which was a nice size. However, the furniture seemed a little IKEAish and the heater/air conditioner was too loud. Other than that it was a great place in a convenient location to Napa Valley for a very affordable price. I have stayed here a few times and would stay here again.
We were looking forward to our three night stay at the hotel that was close to Napa and surrounding wineries. The poor service started with a 25 minute wait to check-in with a line of guests and only one person on the front desk. Fortunately we had a room on the quiet side as the highway side was extremely busy throughout the weekend. The breakfast was the usual HIX standard items although the sausages in particular were unappetising. The food was not well stocked and required searching for the breakfast staff to get it restocked. We had planned a special dinner on the Sunday night only to return to our room and find it still not serviced at 5 pm. Another call to the front desk to get housekeeping to service the room. It seems our room had not been identified as a stay over. We had to wait 30 minutes before it was ready so a rush to get out for dinner. On this point, it should be mentioned that the hotel has no restaurants nearby only a few fast food places. We had been staying on a Points Break offer at 15,000 points per night. The hotel is definitely not worth the usual 30,000 points (or even 15,000). The Suite that we booked was really just a bigger room. Overall a disappointment.
Front desk teammates: Kenta, Lucy, Bianca, Gisele, and Jordan - so welcoming and friendly! These amazing people contribute to what a superior quality stay looks like. Housekeeping staff are phenomenal - so friendly and they work very hard to keep this lovely hotel clean and spotless. Saoul, Rolando, Gavino, and Christian keep things flowing behind the scenes. Ive had no interaction at the corporate level but sincerely recommend IHG reevaluate their position on providing a full service breakfast. This could be incorporated into the current service process and would be GREATLY enjoyed by your guests.

2022-03-21Most courteous and knowledgeable staff. Lindsey, who helped take care of our room during our stay, was amazing, super nice and very detail oriented. The breakfast was more than we ever expected and it was such a wonderful and yummy start to each of our days in Napa. The room was really great and the bed was very comfortable. It was also great to have access to the guest laundry so we didnt have to pack dirty clothes! We will definitely be logging this location as our go to for our visits to Napa every time! Thanks to everyone for such a great stay!

2022-05-13Hotel was clean and the breakfast was OK. Some of the fruit looked well past its prime. Breakfast attendant was able to produce better looking fruit when asked. I suggest that you request staying on the side of the hotel away from the main road. There was just enough traffic at night from the main road that it was hard to get to sleep. Overall, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the room and the rest of the hotel was clean and comfortable. Not a bad value either.

2022-05-11We were at a gathering earlier in the day, so we checked in late, tired. Our room was convenient and quiet (even next to a roadway), and was nice to have blackout shades. It was nice to have a full breakfast (again since Covid restrictions). We had a comfortable stay.

2022-05-09Hotel was in close enough proximity to Napa that it was convenient. However, I found it to be pretty dirty. For example, the door to my bathroom had a giant splatter all over it. Also, the shower curtain did not come down into the tub and the water would get everywhere in the bathroom. Also, IHG has now decided to provide nothing in the room and you have to ask the front desk for everything now, even a pen! I understand this is the Holiday Inn Express but I was expecting more than express attention to detail.

2022-01-16Except for the poor breakfast choices on our second mornig (short staffed), the experience was very good. The location is great. Restaurants and coffee shop nearby, actually within walking distance. The room was VERY clean, bed comfortable, pillows great. These are the usual amenities we have come to expect at any IHG hotel. AC/Napa did not disappoint in that respect. We will definitely stay here again.

2022-04-29Bed, sheets and pillows are outstanding not to mention the blackout curtains. We all need a place to getaway and unwind especially after the last couple of years! We came home completely refreshed. Thanks to the entire staff. It was just what we needed!

2022-01-15Positive: Front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. Negative: furnishings and decor could use some updating. Dining space is not very warm and comfy.

2022-01-21This is a good HI as a base for exploring the wine country. Sits next to highway and a lot of stores. Grab and Go Breakfasts, no longer impressed as they say short staffed. All my others back to nice breakfasts. Staff nice but no great. Will try one other closeby next time.

2021-10-25Stayed here with my husband and 3 boys, one of which is only a month old. I was very impressed with how nicely updated the room was. It was clean and roomy. Plenty of room for me to put the babys bassinet next to our bed. We stayed here to take the boys to 6 Flags Amusement park on their Fall break. I loved that there was a microwave and mini fridge in the room which any family would appreciate. The lobby sells very kid friendly (fun) snacks such as Ben
